Speaker 2 (00:24):
Thank you enjoy.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
Is that you wrestler.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Elderly, probably the most elderly elf that you've seen since
you have been in Regalia. Reaches out and starts feeling
there's a lit's face.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
Uh, yes, it's me, and I'll touch her hands and
kind of look over to the rest of the group.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
You can see that she her the irises of her
eyes are probably are Do you think that they're like
white or do you think that she uh what do
you think her her eyes look like?
Speaker 4 (01:49):
Well, it's like if you were to take my eyes
this kind of vibrant lighter purple and put and just
like clouded up and whatnot. So it's like a very
very pale lilac color.
Speaker 5 (02:07):
Almost.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Yeah, her eyes don't seem focused on anything, though, And
I think you can all probably recognize that she looks
like she's probably blind, and she's indicating that as well
with her guestures towards Iris and feeling Iris's face, and
(02:35):
she pulls her into a tight embrace.
Speaker 6 (02:44):
Are you well, it's been so long?
Speaker 4 (02:51):
I thought you did, right? How long has it been
a grandmother? H?
Speaker 5 (03:01):
Well, genieus.
Speaker 7 (03:09):
Right? Right? Have you been all this time?
Speaker 5 (03:14):
Why have you not contracted me? I?
Speaker 4 (03:21):
I'm so sorry. I am. I don't really have a
logical explanation for it, but if I could have, I
would have.
Speaker 5 (03:36):
I don't understand. H.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
I'm sorry, we can.
Speaker 7 (03:48):
When I last.
Speaker 5 (03:51):
Said goodbye to you, you were enjoying the war. H.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
Do I remember any sort of quest line that involved
that at the beginning, or like when like the last
time I logged out or prior to the event or something.
Speaker 5 (04:14):
As she's speaking about this begins to flood into your memory.
You remember leaving home and you remember.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
Joining some sort of fight in the border of Ellen
Drath and cynthuris.
Speaker 7 (04:43):
Right.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
Well, I'm okay, grandmother. These are my friends and my companions.
Speaker 8 (04:55):
Hi.
Speaker 9 (04:57):
Hello, have we met?
Speaker 1 (05:01):
She tries to move over to the voices.
Speaker 5 (05:05):
She says, I'm sorry, who is here?
Speaker 6 (05:15):
Well, my name is Rue, And I'll gently reach for
her hands and I'll put her hands up to the
sides of my face so she can feel my features. Okay,
does she scratch behind my ear? No?
Speaker 1 (05:36):
I think she's very sort of cautious. She doesn't want
to like over I don't know. I think she's a
little wary.
Speaker 6 (05:49):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
She's not trying to like be overly attached to people
she hasn't met.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
At least.
Speaker 6 (06:00):
I wouldn't push it. But if she seemed like she's
curious about my ears, I will help encourage her hands
to explore the curves of my ears and the fluffy
tufts that come off the sides of them, and then
I'll let go.
Speaker 9 (06:17):
I move up towards her and I go, Hi, I'm bo.
And then I move up and I soka her feet
with my slime.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Yes. She If you've ever seen like an older person
try to move quickly and sort of pick up their
feet and shuffle a bit, I think she does it.
Speaker 10 (06:35):
What is this?
Speaker 4 (06:37):
Uh, he's a slime, but he's a good slime. Hi,
that's bo.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Have we met before?
Speaker 4 (07:00):
Speaking sort of but he's he's much more than just
a familiar. He's a he's a person, just slime shaped.
Speaker 5 (07:12):
You must excuse me.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
It is lat.
Speaker 11 (07:17):
Is.
Speaker 5 (07:18):
I did not expect all of this.
Speaker 7 (07:20):
I know.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
I'm sorry, grandmother. We didn't mean to ambush you or
anything like that. We can come back in the morning
if you want to get some rest first.
Speaker 5 (07:31):
Oh oh, oh, you must come in you. It can't
just simply lieve again.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
Right, Well, this here is Enders.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
She reaches out like she's looking for your hand, by
your fingers.
Speaker 11 (08:00):
In the.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
She begins to smell the air.
Speaker 5 (08:12):
Elementalist mm hmm.
Speaker 6 (08:21):
I try to sniff the air around Enders.
Speaker 4 (08:28):
Baked beans.
Speaker 7 (08:29):
Yeah, and the cold.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 12 (08:35):
Pm.
Speaker 5 (08:36):
Inside I'll start a fire.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
It is, grandmother, What was that?
Speaker 7 (08:45):
Will you help me?
Speaker 4 (08:46):
Of course, and I'll help to usher her back inside
the cottage.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
It's much cooler here, but uh it's not uh well,
I guess, I guess mill Offax is probably uh fairly cool.
It's not. It's not cold, though, you know, it's just
like sort of a chill on the on the nighttime air. Really,
(09:23):
it's a very modest sort of little home. I imagine it's
not much bigger than like three rooms really, So, uh,
why don't you describe what it looks like inside.
Speaker 4 (09:42):
Yeah, So, the when you walk in, it's kind of
one of those it's gosh, what's the word for it,
like a studio almost where you have everything kind of
in one spot in terms of like there's the kitchen,
there's a little they have the fireplace, and a little couch.
(10:04):
This is probably the biggest room inside of the cottage
because it's taking so many roles for the living space
in general. So on the walls you would see just
a large amount of you know, dried herbs and everything
of that nature. She's got a lot of a lot
(10:24):
of cooking supplies over in the kitchen area. It's modest,
but you can tell that my grandmother loves to cook,
or that at least someone here did. The couch is
like it's like a wicker couch, but it has you know,
a lot of pillows and things like that thrown on
(10:45):
top of it to make it more comfortable. And off
to the sides you have the other two rooms within
the home.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
It's very modest inside here. It's it's probably not big
enough for all of you, but it's cozy. And she says, yeah,
the excuse, miss, I wasn't expecting anyone.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
That's all right, grandmother, It looks fine. I can always
help out.
Speaker 5 (11:20):
Too, Yes, and I think that there should be some firewood,
some of them, some of the Yeah. Cool, So the
children from town sometimes come by to help.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
You would notice like a wave of just guilt all
over my face, even though you know this is this
is kind of meant to be an MMO life, right,
this is this is incredibly real. So I would scurry
over and silently grab the fire wood and begin to
(12:04):
try to light it and get it all set up
in the fireplace.
Speaker 13 (12:08):
Sure, m.
Speaker 5 (12:12):
H would anyone like anything to drink? I have water
and I have some pumpkin juice if you would.
Speaker 9 (12:23):
Like mm hmm sure what kind of well do you
have any other juice?
Speaker 5 (12:31):
That soil that I have? With a moment of tea
you can have for some tea after the fire gets going,
I can.
Speaker 9 (12:41):
But whatever you're giving.
Speaker 6 (12:45):
My tail flicks behind me. Do you have any milk?
I do not? Juice is fine, and.
Speaker 5 (13:00):
D's it?
Speaker 11 (13:03):
Yes, and look around and everyone I'll have.
Speaker 13 (13:12):
Tea as well.
Speaker 5 (13:16):
Oh all right, tool pumpkin juices? Send a teeth there
is they want some tea.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
Oh, I'll have some tea. Yes, that'd be great.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
She'll start to get the kettle together, and you can
see it's very practice. She knows exactly where everything is
and sort of putters about very slowly gathering things.
Speaker 6 (13:48):
As we're waiting, my eyes linger on iris. Can I
read anything on your face? What do you look like?
How do you carry yourself?
Speaker 4 (14:01):
Well, this is like a very strange situation. At first,
when we were outside of the cottage, you would have
noticed I probably just seemed like, uh, weirded out a
little bit, but you know, for the sake of being polite,
I was trying to make sure that I didn't really
give that off to my grandmother. But as I'm kind
(14:23):
of getting this fire together, I'm just staring into it,
and my brows are furrowed, and you would sense that
I feel guilty for leaving this woman alone in the
cottage by yourself, even if it wasn't my choice.
Speaker 6 (14:42):
Slowly I turned my head away from your direction, just
kind of looking around at the charm and intrigue. But
my tail does reach out towards you and will try
to fluff into your face, like tickling your nose.
Speaker 4 (15:00):
You try to make me sneeze.
Speaker 6 (15:02):
Oh sorry, I hold my tail. It has a mind
of its own sometimes.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
Well, once we get this lit and the tea going
and whatnot, I'll help out and try to get some
sleeping spaces sorted. My grandmother has her room and her study,
her little study, and I have my room off to
the side over here, and I'll point to the same
wall as where the fireplace is. But like towards the kitchen,
(15:34):
there's a door that leads into a separate room where
we might be able to fit most of us at least.
Speaker 6 (15:44):
Well, we're not very far away from the airship, right,
no mile. If you want some space to catch up,
we could also make our.
Speaker 14 (16:00):
Back puts a mile a way, No, no, If anything,
we should probably all get some rest and then I'll
catch up with my grandmother in the morning.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
We all can. I'm sure she has a lot of
knowledge that might be helpful to us.
Speaker 6 (16:20):
I'm sure we have a lot of questions. And I'll
look over at enders. Yes, well what do you think
of all this so far?
Speaker 13 (16:38):
I told you we all have a pass.
Speaker 6 (16:43):
Yeah, you do?
Speaker 4 (16:49):
You all remember going and leaving for the war.
Speaker 11 (16:56):
My mind is foggy, mm, but I believe once we
visit our places of origin, so to speak, things will
clear out.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
Wait to you, I'll lower my voice. Well, as she
was talking about it, I remembered it. Yeah.
Speaker 9 (17:21):
What was it like?
Speaker 3 (17:22):
What happened?
Speaker 9 (17:22):
What did you do?
Speaker 4 (17:25):
I mean it was normal as any other day we were.
I mean I got everything tidy in my room and
helped her out the best I could before I left.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
And then.
Speaker 4 (17:42):
I left for wherever it was we were going to
be meeting everyone to group with the main forces on
the warfront.
Speaker 9 (17:49):
Were we there? Did you see us or do you
remember seeing us?
Speaker 4 (17:55):
That's a good question. Do I remember seeing them?
Speaker 5 (18:00):
Huh?
Speaker 10 (18:01):
No?
Speaker 9 (18:03):
What if the US is here? Don't know each other,
but we do from before.
Speaker 6 (18:19):
Do you remember what side of the war you joined?
Speaker 4 (18:24):
M hm, Well, I mean Ellen Drath. Now just latching
onto that memory of the people that I did see,
This was pre battle that I remember. Yeah. Was it
(18:44):
all people from ellen Draff?
Speaker 2 (18:48):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (18:52):
And none of them are people that I that I
would have seen. Are people that I would have known from,
like like our guild or.
Speaker 6 (19:00):
Anything like that.
Speaker 4 (19:01):
Right, Actually, when we were grouping up near near the border,
I I don't actually remember anyone from our guild at all,
only it was from Ellen draft, so maybe we didn't
(19:31):
know each other.
Speaker 7 (19:32):
Hmmm mmmm.
Speaker 9 (19:43):
Do I did draft elves have tattoos?
Speaker 4 (19:48):
Well, I mean they can. There are symbolists within the
you know, the people could become symbolists. Those are kind
of tattoos.
Speaker 9 (19:58):
M hmm. I'm just wondering because like, if that's not
your body, maybe perhaps that you know, like, I don't know,
do you have any tattoos?
Speaker 4 (20:10):
Hm, any tattoos that I wouldn't have put on.
Speaker 9 (20:13):
I mean in part creation.
Speaker 4 (20:19):
Have I ever noticed anything like that? Yepe, No, it's.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
It's looks pretty much the same as what you set
up in the character creation.
Speaker 9 (20:33):
So there's no backstory on your back story Okay.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
No, not that I know of. Just thinking, do you
remember the last time you logged in?
Speaker 5 (20:55):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 9 (20:56):
It was the morning we went to the convention because
I had to make sure that I had emptied out
everything in the guild bank, because I wasn't sure if
we'd keep all our items going forward into the uh
the into the fractured uh you know, yeah, exactly.
Speaker 4 (21:16):
Do you remember where your starting zone was?
Speaker 9 (21:19):
Mmm mm hmmm I do. Indeed, it was Plate.
Speaker 7 (21:27):
Taya m.
Speaker 15 (21:30):
M.
Speaker 4 (21:31):
Interesting.
Speaker 7 (21:36):
Well, this is strange.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
M this is very strange.
Speaker 5 (21:42):
Here are your drinks.
Speaker 4 (21:44):
Thank you, grandmother?
Speaker 5 (21:46):
Did you m travel from m hum from the north
the south? Where have you been?
Speaker 4 (21:57):
We came from Millifax, Millifax?
Speaker 9 (22:04):
You know dragons?
Speaker 5 (22:06):
Did you make from mill Offax all the way here?
Speaker 4 (22:12):
Muh hm, well the Empress sponsored us. Turn yes, dragon Empress, indeed, Sary.
Speaker 6 (22:29):
Have an airship. And I gesture over to Greg, who's
presumably sitting next to me on the couch.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
Yeah. Greg hasn't been saying anything, Greg, Greg has got
his arms crossed. He's just like he's staring at a wall.
Speaker 6 (22:45):
I'm so sorry.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
This is this is Greg wood.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
About And your grandmother starts speaking perfect shrublet.
Speaker 6 (22:57):
Yeah, can you can you? And you demonstrate to us
what this elderly elf sounds like speaking shrublet?
Speaker 1 (23:08):
Absolutely nice, and Greg says, hello, it's nice to meet you. Wow,
your shruble it's really good, is it good? Yeah, that's
spot on, like you understand her like as if she
(23:31):
were a shrub and uh yeah, Greg says, uh.
Speaker 5 (23:36):
None of them can speak strublet except for Bo and
she says, well, it's a hard language for most. It's
nice to meet you. You are one of the companions. Well, yes,
(24:06):
I'm technically rouse companion, but I think, well, I think
they've all become friends.
Speaker 6 (24:24):
As I take my pumpkin juice, I just hand it
to Greg.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Yeah, great, Greg takes it. He doesn't think anything about it.
But I think he just looks at you like a
little bit longer and like he takes the first sip
as he stares at you, and like iris, like he's just.
Speaker 5 (24:41):
I'll remember this.
Speaker 6 (24:44):
I pat him on the head.
Speaker 5 (24:50):
That is nice to meet you, Greg. That is an
unusual trouble lick name. Usually they very long and complicated.
What how did you come about this name? Well, my
first companion, Moon, she gave me the name Moon Savior. Yes,
(25:26):
oh my, what have you all been doing?
Speaker 1 (25:34):
She says this last bit in common regolion tongue.
Speaker 4 (25:43):
Well, it's a bit of a long story.
Speaker 5 (25:48):
It has been a long time since I've seen you,
so I would expect so.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
Well, all that we really remember is that we woke
up in Crystal, in Emberstone, in Cyntharis, and.
Speaker 5 (26:15):
What were those horrible people doing to you?
Speaker 4 (26:22):
We don't really know.
Speaker 5 (26:32):
You what, but imprisoned.
Speaker 4 (26:39):
I suppose, so, I mean we were encased in the Umberstone,
so technically as some sort of imprisonment, but it wasn't
by Cynhauris. I don't think. Yep, some strange phenomenon.
Speaker 5 (26:58):
If you are here now, and you are you are
all right? Yes, I'm not imagining this.
Speaker 4 (27:09):
No, you're not imagining this. And I'll grab her hands
and I'll squeeze them gently. I'm sorry to have left you,
but we do have some questions for you.
Speaker 5 (27:30):
I will do my best to answer.
Speaker 4 (27:36):
How much do you know about about the war in general?
I suppose does anyone else have any sort of specific questions?
Speaker 11 (27:53):
M yes, well, she's clearly been alive for a long time.
You remember the origin of the mailstroom.
Speaker 5 (28:03):
Oh, I'm not thatt all.
Speaker 13 (28:08):
H it's more information than we knew.
Speaker 5 (28:15):
I'm already going to I'm going to turn one hundred
and fifty seven soon.
Speaker 7 (28:25):
M Uh.
Speaker 9 (28:26):
What is Iris's favorite color?
Speaker 5 (28:31):
Same color as her eye?
Speaker 3 (28:35):
Is that correct?
Speaker 7 (28:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (28:39):
Hm, that's an easy one.
Speaker 8 (28:41):
Hm.
Speaker 9 (28:43):
Uh what do you think I shrink away?
Speaker 4 (28:51):
Have you heard anything about the expansion of the rift?
Has it gotten bigger since you were young?
Speaker 15 (29:01):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (29:01):
Yes, well this was one of the reasons that the
war began in the first place. Many of the spiritists
and elementalists, and well even the anthropists in Helen Draser
(29:26):
speaking as too, the rift growing dramatically. But I'm I'm
much removed from much of our society these days. I
do not want I got I got one.
Speaker 9 (29:48):
What is your earliest memory of Iris.
Speaker 5 (29:52):
When she was born?
Speaker 3 (29:55):
What happened?
Speaker 5 (29:59):
Is birthing different amongst times?
Speaker 3 (30:04):
Probably?
Speaker 5 (30:06):
I am unfamiliar with the way the times are born,
but much the way that you would expect. I don't
plan on giving your details.
Speaker 9 (30:17):
Parents.
Speaker 6 (30:18):
I think that maybe it might be beneficial for us
to move the conversation a different direction.
Speaker 3 (30:26):
I must have, add says Rue.
Speaker 6 (30:28):
Shut up boat and I start squishing boats down.
Speaker 7 (30:34):
What about.
Speaker 15 (30:37):
So?
Speaker 6 (30:39):
I think we should talk a little bit about why
we're here now and what brought us to Ellen Draft, right, Ris, Uh, yes, yeah.
Speaker 4 (30:56):
So there's obviously an issue with what's going on with
how Emberstone is not being allowed in certain regions like Millifax.
We've seen it firsthand.
Speaker 5 (31:14):
It's about time, after what it's done to our world.
Speaker 4 (31:19):
Hm.
Speaker 5 (31:22):
The elders and all of the magic users in Ellen
Drave tried to get the rest of the world to
listen for a long time now, but as you said,
the rift was much smaller when I was.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
Young, and.
Speaker 4 (31:41):
Emberstone was around since you were young as well.
Speaker 5 (31:45):
I just heard of it. But this is not something
that was very prevalent in ellen Draft right, and I
have lived here for most of my life, as you know.
Speaker 4 (31:59):
And what would you say that the stance of those
in ellen Dras overall would be when it comes to
the usage of Emberstone. Why is it that we're so
against it.
Speaker 10 (32:17):
That?
Speaker 5 (32:17):
I don't know really, I just know what some of
the most skilled spirit callers have said, which was.
Speaker 10 (32:31):
That it was.
Speaker 5 (32:33):
Going to bring the downfall of our world. They were right.
Speaker 6 (32:41):
Do you know where we can find these spirit callers?
Speaker 5 (32:47):
They live about an ellen Drath. Since the war is over,
I imagine they have spread out, but you would most
likely find them Temprea. I believe there's one town. I
haven't had to go to town for some time, so
(33:10):
I don't know if they're still there.
Speaker 6 (33:13):
In our town.
Speaker 4 (33:16):
Yes, we'll have to ask about in the morning. Okay, Well,
I know that we're on the or we're close to
the border. Do you know anything about the mines? What
(33:36):
were they called? Were they the Emberfall mines or something? Emberstone?
Speaker 9 (33:43):
I let go of bo the Emberstone mines. Right, did
they have a name? They?
Speaker 1 (33:51):
So the raid was called the Emberstone mines Emberstone. But uh,
i'll other than that, No, you didn't. You weren't aware
of any name for it. She says, Uh, Well, I.
Speaker 5 (34:11):
Don't know much about it. I know that before you
left you were well, you had heard a lot of
the talk in town, and well you were worried that
the war would make its way here. So you took
it upon yourself to join in the efforts, right against
(34:41):
my better judgment. But after you found Juda Kara, you
were well, very confident.
Speaker 4 (34:57):
I told you about that.
Speaker 5 (35:00):
Yes, you don't remember.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
And as soon as she asks you this question, memories
start letting in.
Speaker 4 (35:17):
Right I told you about that?
Speaker 3 (35:26):
Uh huh.
Speaker 6 (35:28):
Right?
Speaker 4 (35:31):
You know all brought up a good question, though I did.
Speaker 3 (35:36):
I did.
Speaker 4 (35:38):
Do you know anything about my appearance?
Speaker 1 (35:44):
She looks, She furrows her brow and she looks at you.
Speaker 5 (35:47):
What are you talking about it? Really?
Speaker 4 (35:54):
My memory is easy, m.
Speaker 5 (36:02):
Why would I not know about your parents?
Speaker 12 (36:07):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (36:08):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (36:09):
I was hoping more so that you'd be able to
tell me.
Speaker 1 (36:16):
And I would like you to please make a insight
and insight role open check over.
Speaker 7 (36:35):
I will hmm.
Speaker 4 (36:38):
Let's see. So I'm firstly gonna ask if I'm able
to reroll this with anything I have. I have inquisitive
as one of my like my main characteristics for my identity,
and I also do have the ancient bloodline back round,
(37:00):
so I don't know if either one of.
Speaker 6 (37:01):
Those would work.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
I don't think so on this case.
Speaker 4 (37:15):
Okay, well, if I turn that into a seven, it's
just gonna be a nine. So you know what, I'm
just gonna use lucky seven and make one of those
into a seven, so it'll be nine total, but probably
not enough for whatever.
Speaker 16 (37:29):
Check.
Speaker 1 (37:30):
Okay, I'm gonna send you a.
Speaker 9 (37:35):
Message and in them secret message, secret message.
Speaker 6 (37:48):
That was so mischievous.
Speaker 4 (37:49):
He went like this, and just for listeners, it was
originally a four, but now it's a nine. I think
(38:15):
in this moment, a kind of slump back where I'm
sitting and I fall quiet, and for anybody who's actually looking,
you'd be able to tell that I'm sifting through some
memories at the moment, things together silently, right, Never mind, grandmother,
(38:45):
I remember them. I'm sorry, But.
Speaker 9 (38:49):
Would you what if you were a fraudo and your
parents would before you were born or after you were
born as a child and then so now she's going
to be really suspicious because she's like, wait, how would
you remember your parents if you are as deep he says,
table talk style.
Speaker 4 (39:10):
Do we have any other questions?
Speaker 15 (39:13):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (39:13):
One more, grandmamma, how many people have you trained?
Speaker 5 (39:22):
I don't understand. What do you mean train?
Speaker 3 (39:24):
Did you train Iris?
Speaker 17 (39:28):
Huh?
Speaker 5 (39:30):
I trained Iris to be a capable woman and her
life is her own to explore and train, just as
we teach here in Ellen Draft. It is important for
(39:50):
all of our people to choose their own lives in
their own experiences, and we help guide them. But training,
as you say, is not typically done.
Speaker 3 (40:09):
Okay.
Speaker 9 (40:10):
So besides, like party training, you had nothing to do
with like a spell casting.
Speaker 3 (40:17):
That is correct?
Speaker 7 (40:19):
Okay?
Speaker 11 (40:21):
Who I have a question? They look down at ninety m.
What would you say the stance of people's thoughts on
cynhauris now.
Speaker 5 (40:41):
Here and Felicia they are, yes. I don't think they've
changed much. Most of the people here, well, there is
a lot of history tween Syntharis and Helen Dreth and
(41:04):
I can tell you from my experience the people of
Syntharis are rude.
Speaker 13 (41:12):
They are.
Speaker 5 (41:15):
Foul, and they have done much in polluting our environment.
I don't care for them.
Speaker 13 (41:28):
I see.
Speaker 4 (41:33):
Grandmother and I'll squeeze her hands again. We've been put
in a very precarious situation. You know about Savior Moon, right, I.
Speaker 5 (41:50):
Think most of the people Regalia I have heard of
the Savior. Yes, your friend Greg is Own's companion or worse.
Speaker 4 (42:05):
Right, have you heard anything recently about her, anything she's done?
Speaker 12 (42:14):
Oh?
Speaker 11 (42:15):
No, not.
Speaker 5 (42:15):
For some time, there was talk of one of the
beasts from it Hessa making its way to the Centa Shaws.
There was some sort of battle there. That was the
last I think I've heard of her.
Speaker 4 (42:39):
Well, she's actually she's actually one of our friends.
Speaker 13 (42:45):
She's a villain.
Speaker 4 (42:50):
Something bad happened that has really changed her. Some would
consider her a villain, yes, but we have to find her,
(43:13):
and in order to help her, we have to get stronger.
Speaker 5 (43:22):
I don't understand she's your villain or she's your friend.
Speaker 4 (43:31):
She wasn't a villain when we were friends. But she's
someone that that we think maybe we might be able
to help.
Speaker 6 (43:45):
It's uh complicated.
Speaker 11 (43:51):
She's known as the Valkyrie, and if she ever comes
to these parts of you along your way to leave
Sariah go to say safety. They are unstable. They are
classified as a villain no matter how. We chuck it
up and I put the cup down, stand up, and
(44:13):
we're all. I need to face reality here. I don't
want something happening to her because we keep throwing around
this word of friendship. If I remember correctly, she killed
us all well, I.
Speaker 9 (44:33):
Mean, if I was I was still alive.
Speaker 5 (44:36):
Where are you going.
Speaker 13 (44:38):
Check on their ship?
Speaker 4 (44:42):
I glance over at Rue.
Speaker 6 (44:48):
I'm looking down at my hands where I'm holding my tail.
Speaker 4 (44:55):
It is a complicated situation.
Speaker 5 (44:57):
Grandmother, she hurt you, Yes, what does he mean?
Speaker 7 (45:05):
He killed?
Speaker 5 (45:07):
She killed you, not me, but.
Speaker 4 (45:16):
She heard the others very badly.
Speaker 5 (45:21):
Do you shure you you will not uh, you will
not be around this, this supposed savior anymore. You must
not do this, he islith, grandmother.
Speaker 4 (45:40):
Do you sense anything around me or my friends? Any
sort of aura?
Speaker 3 (45:54):
I thought it was. I thought it was.
Speaker 5 (45:59):
Some sort of magic.
Speaker 14 (46:01):
Mh.
Speaker 5 (46:03):
I thought maybe this was just the Choras doing mh.
Speaker 6 (46:11):
Did you know.
Speaker 5 (46:16):
You all have some something about you? We thought that
maybe it was some sort of spell enchantment? What is this?
Speaker 11 (46:35):
You know?
Speaker 4 (46:35):
How they called Moon the savior or a hero.
Speaker 5 (46:44):
Yes, I don't know much about it, but the heroes
helped during the war, right.
Speaker 4 (46:54):
Well, the rest of us we all have the same
aura that she does. What that means is that be
it's stronger, faster, we have more powerful abilities overall. Typically,
(47:15):
I don't know if we all agree with the term hero,
but we are quite strong even for where we are now.
Speaker 5 (47:23):
Are you talking about it? Rustling? You know, hero, You'll
you'll always be a hero to me, But.
Speaker 3 (47:33):
I don't.
Speaker 5 (47:37):
Heroes. I don't know much about heroes, but I know
some things. They they come from a different world. You
were born here, I saw you being born. Your mother
was in great pain. What are you saying?
Speaker 7 (48:05):
I am.
Speaker 4 (48:07):
I don't know how to explain it. I think perhaps
it has to do with the Umberstone.
Speaker 7 (48:16):
Or something.
Speaker 5 (48:24):
I don't understand. This does not make any sense, well.
Speaker 4 (48:35):
At any rate, perhaps you won't to understand now, but
we might be the only ones that are able to
do anything about the Savior in her current state.
Speaker 5 (48:51):
That doesn't make any sense. Are people throughout the world powerful?
Powerful people?
Speaker 4 (49:06):
I don't know, grandmother, but perhaps maybe it has to
do with our bloodline that I'm so powerful.
Speaker 7 (49:19):
At least.
Speaker 5 (49:29):
The fires bad line. It's been a long time since
we've had anyone in the family that was any sort
of champion of Valandrath.
Speaker 4 (49:49):
We had a champion of Ellandrat.
Speaker 1 (49:54):
As soon as you ask the question, Iris, you start
to remember some of the story worries sort of rise
and fall of the bloodline, just kind of thinning out
that bloodlines do, where you know one of the members
(50:19):
just doesn't have a lot of children, something unfortunate might happen.
Speaker 4 (50:28):
Starting to come back to you, do you know anything
about this champion at all?
Speaker 5 (50:43):
I don't you stories when you're young, you do not remember.
Speaker 4 (50:49):
It's hazy, it was before your time. I assume, oh yes,
not that you couldn't be a champion of ellaen Dreth grandmother.
(51:10):
You're a very capable woman, and.
Speaker 5 (51:13):
They do say my tea is the best in all
of Elisia.
Speaker 4 (51:18):
Champion of the tea.
Speaker 5 (51:24):
This is not your responsibility.
Speaker 7 (51:28):
You did not have to.
Speaker 5 (51:30):
It is not your responsibility to say the world it's here, nonsense,
it's not you. Eh, you can't take on that sort
of responsibility.
Speaker 4 (51:45):
M Well, my friends have made it so that I
can be brave grandmother, even against odds that are right terrifying.
Speaker 5 (52:03):
Does save your moon.
Speaker 7 (52:06):
She's done.
Speaker 5 (52:08):
Incredible things, the creatures and battles that she's fought in.
She just fought the monsters from a testa.
Speaker 4 (52:24):
Doesn't that mean that she's worthy of being helped?
Speaker 7 (52:29):
Help or not.
Speaker 5 (52:32):
Care about you? I am not supposed to outlive my family.
Speaker 11 (52:51):
I know.
Speaker 4 (53:02):
Well, it is quite late at the moment. Do we
want to get everyone ready for bad? We can talk
more in the morning, when our heads are a little clearer.
Speaker 9 (53:16):
Oh, do you have like a bottle or like a
some sort of tubble or a thing like that? Something empty?
Speaker 4 (53:22):
There should be a flower pot in my room, which
on't your room? Uh, it's that one over there.
Speaker 9 (53:31):
Oh, I wonder if she's done anything to do it
in the ten years you've been away. I go inside
the room, I imagine looks exactly the SAME's tidy. I
PLoP into like a flower pot that looks like one
of those Zelda ones, like a big rounded ceramic boomp.
Speaker 4 (54:07):
I'm sorry to have upset you, grandmother.
Speaker 5 (54:12):
She passed her hand and she says, I don't want
you to to.
Speaker 15 (54:19):
Do this.
Speaker 7 (54:21):
Do what you need to stay here.
Speaker 5 (54:26):
At least some time. War has only just ended. This
is the time for families to reunite.
Speaker 4 (54:38):
Well, we have some things that we need to do
and questions we need answered. We should be able to
stay for a little bit while we train. But grandmother,
and I'm eyeing to make sure everyone has kind of
left the room, and then my eyes locked back a
(55:00):
to her, the reason they're not dead is because I
brought them back.
Speaker 5 (55:07):
I don't understand.
Speaker 7 (55:09):
What do you mean.
Speaker 6 (55:13):
Do you remember the.
Speaker 4 (55:16):
The book that we read when I was younger, the
one about the Champion of fell in Dress.
Speaker 15 (55:24):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (55:25):
Yes, well, yeah, correct, how they had.
Speaker 4 (55:41):
A spell that could reinvigorate those who had fallen.
Speaker 7 (55:48):
In their battle, This this spell of hope.
Speaker 4 (55:59):
Mhm, Well, there are two people in all of Regalia
on record that have been able to do such a thing.
One is a powerful professor and it's magic user in Invernia,
(56:20):
and the other brought back two of her friends in
one go.
Speaker 3 (56:31):
And that was me.
Speaker 5 (56:37):
You you've become a tenth level spiritist. Yes, oh, my
sweet granddaughter, where have you been through?
Speaker 7 (57:03):
Quite a lot?
Speaker 4 (57:15):
And I think that my face you'll notice the kind
of front that I've had for a little bit. When
she asks what I've been through? Drops a little and
I'll stay up with her, however long to fill her
in on what's happened since I've arrived in Rogalia.
Speaker 1 (57:34):
Sure, yeah, I imagine you're probably up for a couple
hours at least before she starts kind of like nodding off,
and you probably, I think. I imagine she's probably just
kind of knotted off on the couch or something.
Speaker 10 (57:54):
And.
Speaker 7 (57:56):
I'll tuck her in.
Speaker 4 (57:57):
Yeah, And before I go to bed, I'm just gonna
look around the place. It's just like I remembered. It's
really strange.
Speaker 1 (58:16):
There's those lingering feelings of home.
Speaker 4 (58:22):
And I'll go into my room and rejoin the others.
Speaker 3 (58:30):
Do you not knock?
Speaker 4 (58:34):
You're still up?
Speaker 9 (58:36):
I was weighting, h, thank you?
Speaker 7 (58:42):
Me me me, me, me, me, me, me me me.
Speaker 4 (58:45):
Do we know where Anders went?
Speaker 9 (58:47):
Did he leave the cottage or did he Yeah, he
was going to the airship, he said.
Speaker 1 (58:52):
Ah, Gregs snuck out at some point, Greg is.
Speaker 17 (58:59):
An He.
Speaker 9 (59:07):
I peer out of the pop momentarily.
Speaker 3 (59:13):
Irish.
Speaker 15 (59:15):
Yes.
Speaker 9 (59:17):
I was thinking, I say it quietly so that the
grandma can't hear.
Speaker 15 (59:25):
If.
Speaker 3 (59:27):
If she is your grandma, I was I was thinking,
isn't that weird?
Speaker 4 (59:40):
Why is that weird?
Speaker 9 (59:42):
Because I mean, she's not just your grandmom, she's every
ELpH and Regalia's grandmam too, and there's like ten million players.
Speaker 3 (59:51):
So I wanted I.
Speaker 9 (59:53):
I was trying to figure out if you are the
own we he wrote, elf hee If that makes any sense.
Speaker 4 (01:00:09):
Thinking back to when everybody was like making their characters
and we were all talking about what we selected and
things like that, we all had the same options, right.
There weren't any secret options that popped up for anybody,
nothing strange like that.
Speaker 1 (01:00:23):
You all had different options for your origin stories. One
of the selling points for Regalia was that you kind
of crafted your own origin story through various quests and things.
Speaker 4 (01:00:35):
And they just implemented it somehow magically that we have
no idea, maybe probably touting it as like just AI
or something to kind of take that right and turn
it into a storyline.
Speaker 17 (01:00:48):
Yep, oh my god, so.
Speaker 9 (01:00:55):
This is unique and bespoke to her? Then yes, okay,
in that case, I retract that can go good night,
And then the pot it slams on me.
Speaker 4 (01:01:11):
I collapse into my bed.
Speaker 6 (01:01:14):
What the fuck?
Speaker 4 (01:01:18):
Alannguage, what the flownder?
Speaker 1 (01:01:23):
Meanwhile, at the airship, we find enders airship looks fine,
do you go on to the airship.
Speaker 11 (01:01:39):
Yeah, yeah, I go up to the airship. I'm also
taken in the night sky and everything the sky seems
but I am imagine I'm a little bigger here beautiful.
Speaker 1 (01:01:51):
Yeah, yeah, I mean it's it's a little like wild,
you know, especially like the further you go away from
the cottage and whatnot. You know, so you're kind of
like you when you made your way here, iris had
sort of chosen your route, Did you try to follow
(01:02:13):
the same way that you went?
Speaker 11 (01:02:16):
Oh yeah, okay, yeah until I got to like, because
this it looks like we're in like some forests the area,
until I broke the trees. That's when I kind of
got distracted, and yeah, you will do.
Speaker 1 (01:02:29):
Yeah. So there's like foothills in the area and there's
mountains you know to the east. But uh, it's there's
there's probably like there's it's not like a super heavily
wooded area. There's definitely woods here, but like you can
see the stars and stuff. It's it's not a problem
(01:02:50):
and it's a beauty. It's a beautiful view. I mean,
there's really you know, pretty like open open stars. There's
maybe like a little bit of pollution that's crept in.
You know, it's got a little bit of border. Yeah.
Speaker 13 (01:03:05):
Oh yeah, it doesn't bother me. Yeah, I check on it.
I go up today air.
Speaker 11 (01:03:10):
Ship, I check on it, go all the way to
the top the viewing decks, yep, and I think I
lose track of time and I just kind of like
nestled in on the ship.
Speaker 1 (01:03:22):
Yeah. Yeah, maybe like twenty minutes after you get there.
You can probably hear like the the door of the
ship like open up.
Speaker 5 (01:03:32):
Oh, Greig, I'm.
Speaker 11 (01:03:40):
Okay, just think I'm going to stay here for the night,
and you're turning in here as well.
Speaker 1 (01:03:49):
So Greg, it's like a minute before Greg finds just
hear something. Yeah, uh, make his way in. Yeah, and
it'll kind of like look around like make sure nothing's wrong.
Speaker 11 (01:04:05):
I guess and say, I'll just nod in agreement, and
I'll say, you know what, Greg, stay here. And what
I'll do is I'll pull a bunch of cushions off
of like the chairs we have and you know, I
(01:04:26):
guess in the map room or whatever, and pull them
up to the top and smash them together and make
like a big area and pull blankets and.
Speaker 13 (01:04:38):
I'll try to make a smooth smooth a couple of smoothies.
Speaker 11 (01:04:43):
Sure, you know, I'm gonna secretly do it because I
know Greg is like all testy about people touching this stuff,
but so I will.
Speaker 1 (01:04:50):
I will make you do a role for this.
Speaker 13 (01:04:52):
That's fine.
Speaker 1 (01:04:55):
Let's uh so probably be like insight and and decks
I imagine.
Speaker 13 (01:05:02):
Yeah, I was gonna think about that. Okay, is this
open open?
Speaker 1 (01:05:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 13 (01:05:06):
I just decks and insight.
Speaker 1 (01:05:12):
Fifteen. Oh hell yeah, you make a kick ass movie
for never probably like almost never using a blender before.
Speaker 11 (01:05:21):
Yeah, I use a little bit more magic in it too.
I'll like ice the glass with smell or something, and uh,
frost the rim. I'll do all kinds of wild stuff.
What what like what did the fruits look like that
you threw in there?
Speaker 13 (01:05:36):
Oh? They were weird. It was like hairy fruits and
like all kind of random stuff up.
Speaker 11 (01:05:42):
You know. I just grabbed from different areas, I'm sure,
and it travels. Greg has probably gathered fruits from random
areas since he's a fruit conness. Or I'll just grab
whatever looks contrasting and throw them in well more of
a color theory mix.
Speaker 1 (01:06:00):
Then maybe you smell it, you know, to smell the
fruit to see and whatever whatever concoction you've put together,
it smells great when you're done, Look doesn't look like
it didn't like become like this horrible gray Oh yeah, nastiness,
you know. And whatever you blended together, it's like it
(01:06:20):
smells good and maybe you like, you know, use a
spoon and just taste it or something. It's like, oh,
it's like it's like sweet and tart.
Speaker 11 (01:06:32):
Sure you like this, so be from early I'm getting
pushed off. Uh, and then I'll walk up and I'll uh,
is Greg all comfy or is he staring?
Speaker 1 (01:06:42):
Yeah? I think he's probably like watching you making sure
you don't break the blender. Like he's a little working
at the door. It's just like he's well I imagine
he's probably like on a stool, like just watching you
do this. Yeah, and uh, he's just making sure that
you're not pushing the of the wrong settings on the blender.
Speaker 13 (01:07:03):
Mm hmm. Yeah. I'll say let's go upstairs and I'll
hand him the slushy and SEO do he thinks?
Speaker 1 (01:07:12):
Yeah? Yeah, yeah he he uh sniffs it and then.
Speaker 13 (01:07:27):
Mm hmmm mm hmm.
Speaker 11 (01:07:32):
Do I understand that? And I throw open thumbs up
since it's like my new thing to do. And yeah,
we'll walk upstairs. I'll like put my hand on Greg's
head and we'll walk upstairs and get comfortable and and
I'll just stare at the stars while probably listening to
(01:07:52):
Greg ramble, and I don't know what he's saying.
Speaker 1 (01:07:55):
Greg starts to draw like a few things on some
piece of paper or something used to nobody really understanding
him for uh for a while, he'll, uh, he'll draw
like you, and he'll draw the rest of the group
(01:08:18):
and he'll do like a question mark and hold it up.
Speaker 11 (01:08:26):
Ah, everything's okay. I feel familiar under the stars. I
think I'm gonna stay at here for the night.
Speaker 1 (01:08:37):
Got the thought.
Speaker 13 (01:08:41):
Mhm, now hold the thumbs up.
Speaker 15 (01:08:47):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:08:48):
He'll draw like a rudimentary airship, and he'll draw like
a super awesome Greg drawing. Everything else has been like
stick figures and like super shitty. And he'll do like
a super awesome him. Like he'll spend like three times
as long drawing himself on the piece of paper, and uh,
you know he's got like he's like super ripped and
(01:09:09):
like and and he he uh draws the airship and
he draws like a down arrow, and he puts a
question mark.
Speaker 13 (01:09:23):
Hairship with a down arrow. He wants to leave the
airship and and.
Speaker 1 (01:09:28):
A question mark.
Speaker 13 (01:09:30):
You want to go join the.
Speaker 1 (01:09:31):
Others, And then he will, uh. He spends some time
and he does like another Greg drawing, and then he
draws like a little he draws like himself like sleeping,
and then like a down arrow.
Speaker 13 (01:09:48):
Yes, let's sleep.
Speaker 1 (01:09:52):
He shrugs airship down.
Speaker 11 (01:09:57):
I like literally sit down and ponder for the next hour.
When when he meant and I'll stare at the drawings.
Speaker 1 (01:10:02):
Yeah, he just he just looks like he finds it
finds a his his uh spot, I don't know. If
I don't know I made I made a spot. And
he'll he'll just kind of cut up and go to sleep.
Speaker 11 (01:10:17):
Yeah, I'll cover him and then I'll just look at
the stars until I fade away.
Speaker 5 (01:10:25):
Very well.
Speaker 1 (01:10:29):
Back to the other group. Morning rolls around. You all
can probably smell, would I imagine to be smells like
(01:10:51):
roasted nuts?
Speaker 13 (01:10:54):
Oh darn, mm hmm.
Speaker 4 (01:11:00):
What smells great?
Speaker 3 (01:11:04):
What does.
Speaker 15 (01:11:06):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (01:11:08):
I think my grandmother is making breakfast?
Speaker 9 (01:11:13):
Can you guess what she makes?
Speaker 4 (01:11:17):
I don't have us good to know as this rue does.
Speaker 9 (01:11:20):
I imagine she's going to try and make something that
you might remember.
Speaker 4 (01:11:28):
I mean, I remember her pies, a breakfast with.
Speaker 3 (01:11:33):
Nuts breakfast pie. I don't think so.
Speaker 17 (01:11:40):
We'll have to see what it is true.
Speaker 9 (01:11:45):
I'm just still not sure how much of the old
U is in there still, you know, because you're remembering
things now.
Speaker 3 (01:11:52):
So does that mean that.
Speaker 9 (01:11:55):
Only a third of and this is with us?
Speaker 11 (01:11:58):
Now?
Speaker 5 (01:11:59):
How does that work?
Speaker 4 (01:12:03):
If I tried to think back of my memory, like
at the con or before the con, of when we
got like whatever quest prompt or anything like that to
join the front lines or what have you at the mines?
Is that shit overwritten by the memory that I was
given in character at the moment? Or do I remember both?
Speaker 1 (01:12:28):
They're the same thing?
Speaker 13 (01:12:33):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (01:12:33):
Fuck me?
Speaker 7 (01:12:33):
Man h, I don't know. I mean.
Speaker 4 (01:12:42):
It lines up. We all got the prompt, right? What
do you mean there's something amiss at Emberstone? Minds right?
Speaker 5 (01:12:52):
Sure?
Speaker 9 (01:12:53):
But GM Regalia is a third person game or first
person game.
Speaker 1 (01:13:00):
I think you can play either way.
Speaker 9 (01:13:05):
But would you remember having seen that you know one
of those first person players?
Speaker 11 (01:13:11):
Are you?
Speaker 4 (01:13:13):
I did a little bit of both, but the raids
you kind of had to do third person.
Speaker 9 (01:13:18):
Oh, in that case, we never like when we were
role playing, you know, right, I guess it's a dead
end lead then.
Speaker 1 (01:13:30):
But this anyway, this smell, by the way, has started
to like waft in. It smells like fresh peanut butter, ah,
and smell of bread.
Speaker 9 (01:13:44):
Oh what do you think she's making some kind of.
Speaker 4 (01:13:50):
It smells like peanut butter and fresh home meat bread.
Speaker 17 (01:13:56):
Ah.
Speaker 4 (01:13:58):
We should go have some or help her. We should
help her, Yes, that is what we should do, help
her make Maybe I should help her make.
Speaker 6 (01:14:07):
It, and you should.
Speaker 1 (01:14:08):
I'm not gonna do it because this would deactivate my goexcelar.
But it smells like violent smashing of something like on
a counter right now.
Speaker 7 (01:14:17):
Oh, that is quite loud.
Speaker 1 (01:14:20):
Where's Rue, grandmother?
Speaker 6 (01:14:21):
Do you need help?
Speaker 5 (01:14:23):
I think I've got here, unless you want to find
the honey.
Speaker 7 (01:14:29):
Yeah, I'll do that.
Speaker 4 (01:14:32):
You find Rue, I'll find the honey. Even though they're
one and the same.
Speaker 1 (01:14:36):
It's a really specific memory that I have of this sound.
And I'm old, so probably not a lot of people
have this. But if you saw Wayne's World, two Garth
smashes a fucking robot at one point, and it's this
really loud, violent smashing noise, And it's the exact noise
(01:14:58):
that popped into my head when I pictured her smashing
these peanuts in the fucking kitchen.
Speaker 9 (01:15:06):
Okay, I guess you can go help and I'll really drew.
Speaker 7 (01:15:13):
Rue. I'm grabbing the honey.
Speaker 6 (01:15:19):
I am not inside the building.
Speaker 9 (01:15:23):
Then this happens for a while. Bru.
Speaker 17 (01:15:26):
It's not as big you can like.
Speaker 5 (01:15:30):
Really, it's like a teeny tiny little house.
Speaker 4 (01:15:34):
There's even like a big circle window in my room.
Speaker 1 (01:15:39):
Obviously not there.
Speaker 6 (01:15:41):
Do you go outside?
Speaker 5 (01:15:45):
Okay?
Speaker 9 (01:15:45):
I kind of like woom slinky up to the window,
open it, brow, brouh, you can't find me. I shut
(01:16:05):
the window and lock it and then go inside.
Speaker 1 (01:16:13):
I wonder what she is. It's Wayne's world one. I
thought it was two, but it was one. Okay, Uh
you head outside? Are you out there?
Speaker 10 (01:16:25):
Rue?
Speaker 3 (01:16:25):
Where are you?
Speaker 6 (01:16:27):
He can't find me? But I am outside?
Speaker 1 (01:16:30):
Okay. Uh yeah, let's have an inside insight check from
bow an open check.
Speaker 9 (01:16:40):
Oh you want me to roll to see if I
can find sure seventeen? Oh okay, all you have to quit?
What is the inside inside?
Speaker 1 (01:16:51):
All right?
Speaker 9 (01:16:52):
Watch this, I'll have you know. I'm the best throw
of six, Rue, I say in the kitchen.
Speaker 1 (01:17:03):
Leave it up to you. I don't know where you are.
Speaker 6 (01:17:05):
Yes, I am outside. I am doing a bit of
sleuthing now that it is no longer darkness, I would
like to prowl around the grounds and just get a
feel for this home. Is there a garden?
Speaker 1 (01:17:22):
Oh yeah, Iris, Why don't you describe it for a room? Sorry?
Speaker 4 (01:17:29):
Oh yeah, it's it's surrounded in greenery.
Speaker 6 (01:17:33):
You know, the front art I talked about.
Speaker 4 (01:17:35):
When we walked in, there were flowers. There are so
many kinds it's almost blinding, how many different like cross
breeds of different flowers that have sprouted up in front
of the house. And in the back there's a big garden.
Like the garden's bigger than the house.
Speaker 17 (01:17:53):
It makes no sense.
Speaker 9 (01:17:56):
Where, you know.
Speaker 4 (01:17:58):
We've grown over the years, bunch of different things. I
don't know if my grandmother would have been able to
maintain all of that by herself. So maybe, like you'll notice,
some of the plots are empty, but she has been
maintaining some of it with a variety of different vegetables
and whatnot.
Speaker 6 (01:18:16):
There is only the hint of a tip of a
tail that peaks between various brush and flora in the garden.
As Rue is literally prowling around trying to see if
she can hunt anything.
Speaker 1 (01:18:35):
Uh yeah, I mean there's lots of little critters and
things running around.
Speaker 6 (01:18:40):
Okay, I want to see how many of them I
can catch.
Speaker 1 (01:18:45):
Uh yeah, I think we'll just go off of your
deck check from before. Lots of little rodents and things
that you can catch fairly easily. Okay, if you want
a number, go ahead and roll the D four.
Speaker 6 (01:19:01):
Hell yeah, of course I want to roll.
Speaker 1 (01:19:08):
All right, we'll say he got three.
Speaker 6 (01:19:11):
Okay, three. I'm holding three squirrel birds by scorbs scerbs
by their tails, and they're sort of wriggling around in
my hand. I'm looking at them, and I pause before
I throw them into my inventory, remembering what happened to
the fish I just missed my inventory, and I begin
(01:19:35):
to make my way towards the window that I crawled
out of.
Speaker 1 (01:19:39):
Did you kill them when you caught them?
Speaker 6 (01:19:40):
No, they're alive. They're alive.
Speaker 1 (01:19:42):
I freaking the fut Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:19:45):
They are, absolutely, they are freaking out. Uh And I
try to open the window.
Speaker 1 (01:19:53):
The fuck you're in your inventory window?
Speaker 8 (01:19:57):
No, the window that bo just look ups. I go
over to the front door and just knock on the
front door.
Speaker 1 (01:20:13):
I imagine probably I answers the door is yes, Oh,
there she is. Uh I.
Speaker 4 (01:20:29):
Do you want these for breakfast?
Speaker 6 (01:20:31):
Not necessarily. We really haven't had an opportunity to try
to catch some of the critters. I know that uh
Bo wanted to experiment, right or something.
Speaker 1 (01:20:50):
You're freaking out there.
Speaker 6 (01:20:52):
Yeah, I'm just pulling it as far away from my
body as possible. You can see cuts in like blood
beginning to drip from my hand. I'm holding it.
Speaker 1 (01:21:00):
Imagine if you picked up a cat that did not
want to be picked up. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:21:03):
Yeah, I just have three of them. One's blue, like
a cyan blue, one's orange, and another one is like bright,
vividly green. I just sort of stepped past you and
into the building as I'm holding them. Boh, where are you?
Speaker 7 (01:21:21):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (01:21:22):
I rut Hey, remember how you said you wanted to
like try to absorb things and maybe, uh.
Speaker 9 (01:21:34):
Aren't those alive?
Speaker 1 (01:21:37):
Clearly alive. They're freaking out making all kinds of noise.
Speaker 6 (01:21:41):
I like all of them.
Speaker 13 (01:21:42):
Yeah, you let them doing.
Speaker 1 (01:21:44):
That so they immediately run out of the house.
Speaker 9 (01:21:48):
Okay, if I've closed the door, if you've.
Speaker 1 (01:21:51):
Closed the door, Yeah, they're just running around the house. Now, yeah, knocking,
they're smacking into things, and.
Speaker 6 (01:21:58):
Yeah, I look very proud out of myself. My tail
is swishing languidly behind me.
Speaker 9 (01:22:05):
I fear if I try and absorb them, I'll just
kill am anikium.
Speaker 3 (01:22:09):
But what do they taste like?
Speaker 4 (01:22:11):
Well, grandmother, do you know anything about the cyan bird,
squirrel things that are on the outside?
Speaker 6 (01:22:17):
Are they edible?
Speaker 5 (01:22:18):
The squibs?
Speaker 17 (01:22:20):
Yeah, the scerbs, the squabs?
Speaker 5 (01:22:23):
Why would you care?
Speaker 1 (01:22:24):
After ah, you can see like one is attacking the kitchen,
like ramming into like a cupboard or something, trying to
find some hole to crawl into.
Speaker 6 (01:22:34):
I turned towards bow not batting an eye, and I say, well, yeah,
I mean, obviously it's probably gonna die. We tried to
use the dead fish and it didn't work. Look, would
you rather try this on a squirrel thing or a person?
Speaker 9 (01:22:52):
Fair point? Is that a trick quest?
Speaker 17 (01:22:56):
Chitten?
Speaker 6 (01:22:58):
Obviously it's a trick question. Now, good luck catching one.
Speaker 9 (01:23:04):
I guess I try and catch a scub.
Speaker 11 (01:23:08):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:23:08):
Yeah, decks and decks, decks and decks. All right, it's
an open check.
Speaker 9 (01:23:15):
Yeah, okay, dex decks boom bam five, get a U scub.
Speaker 1 (01:23:25):
Bos bouncing around trying to catch up to any of
these things are way too fast, So good grandmother?
Speaker 7 (01:23:32):
Are they? Are they atible?
Speaker 1 (01:23:34):
Or she's freaking out? She's like she just knocked over
the peanut butter like walls onto the floor.
Speaker 4 (01:23:43):
I look irritated.
Speaker 6 (01:23:45):
My tail is like an exclamation point behind me, my
fur bristling.
Speaker 9 (01:23:50):
Come on faster, I'm on, I'm on, I'm on it.
I launched a suit a pot at the mischievous one
that knocked over the peanut butter?
Speaker 5 (01:23:57):
Sure?
Speaker 13 (01:23:58):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:24:00):
Do you normally do? Might? And might?
Speaker 10 (01:24:01):
For that?
Speaker 1 (01:24:03):
Make an attack?
Speaker 15 (01:24:04):
Roll?
Speaker 9 (01:24:05):
Okay, an attack?
Speaker 5 (01:24:06):
Roll on?
Speaker 1 (01:24:08):
Hold on?
Speaker 9 (01:24:09):
Sorry, I should have held on.
Speaker 6 (01:24:12):
The slime that always gets me every time?
Speaker 7 (01:24:17):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (01:24:19):
What did I do with it?
Speaker 4 (01:24:23):
This poor elderly woman.
Speaker 1 (01:24:25):
Yes, this is such a bad plan. Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:24:29):
Or is it the best plan?
Speaker 2 (01:24:32):
There you are.
Speaker 3 (01:24:35):
I don't know if this is.
Speaker 1 (01:24:36):
Gonna work or if this is working right because I
just have the party tokens, so I was gonna enable yours.
But I know that that like turns off the map.
Uh mm hmm, there we go. There you are. You're
(01:24:57):
gonna have to click off of the party token and
the you should see yourself.
Speaker 9 (01:25:02):
Okay, I see myself.
Speaker 17 (01:25:05):
There you go.
Speaker 9 (01:25:06):
So you want me to roll?
Speaker 1 (01:25:08):
Yeah, just roll your attack. Okay, sixteen because I don't
think it used the proper dice. Well, no, maybe it did,
I don't know. Regardless, we'll use the sixteen.
Speaker 5 (01:25:21):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (01:25:22):
Uh, you managed to catch these things reasonably fast.
Speaker 9 (01:25:27):
Okay, there you go.
Speaker 1 (01:25:29):
All right, I die horribly squirb up.
Speaker 3 (01:25:36):
Okay, it's squab.
Speaker 9 (01:25:38):
In time, I say and eat the squabs.
Speaker 4 (01:25:46):
I guess I'll roll, No, absorb them, become them.
Speaker 9 (01:25:52):
I guess In next, I try and do a chimerism
to try and assume the shape of a squab.
Speaker 1 (01:25:59):
Ok well, uh, you reached out to attack these things
and you smack them with your pseudopod, which was based
off of an axe. Is that correct?
Speaker 9 (01:26:12):
No, it hasn't been for a while, not since I
got my.
Speaker 1 (01:26:14):
H this was the fist weapons. M hmm. Okay yeah.
So uh it's probably like a short range attack and
you've unleashed like like rapid fire punches with your pseudopod.
Speaker 6 (01:26:32):
You just went gone, gone pistol on them.
Speaker 1 (01:26:35):
God machine, it's probably machine gun.
Speaker 6 (01:26:39):
Wow, yep, I just based palm. No, they're dead.
Speaker 9 (01:26:47):
Don't worry.
Speaker 5 (01:26:47):
Don't worry.
Speaker 9 (01:26:48):
I can tell I eat them. They're just inside me,
floating or horrid, like inside my blue self. And then
I kind of like just idle over to where the
folid peanut BUTTERI is trying to clean it up as well.
Speaker 17 (01:27:02):
I'm up.
Speaker 5 (01:27:02):
Oh these creatures get inside. I don't understand.
Speaker 9 (01:27:08):
And now they're gone.
Speaker 1 (01:27:10):
Oh the peanut butter is ruined.
Speaker 4 (01:27:12):
Oh, I'll help you make some more, grandmother. I'm so sorry.
Speaker 1 (01:27:18):
And yeah, and she's just probably like she's probably cursing.
Look under her breath while she's doing this, like she's
legit super fucking angry. Iris you you know, I think
it starts to you start to recall she only does
this when she's really angry. She's normally like very proper
and like it is kind and like, yeah, she's.
Speaker 5 (01:27:40):
Like they could fresh fucking peanut butter. Yeah, nobody gives
a shit a button Granny's peanut butter.
Speaker 4 (01:27:49):
Oh I love your peanut butter, Granny, but I'll help
you here.
Speaker 1 (01:27:53):
It's all like passive aggressive, just like underneath her breath.
Speaker 6 (01:27:59):
I just dropped down and the couch and look comfortable.
Speaker 4 (01:28:03):
Isn't everyone excited for peanut butter?
Speaker 9 (01:28:06):
Yeah, peanut butter I say, and I jiggle this three
squabs kind of slowly fade into the background of the
creature that is bo.
Speaker 4 (01:28:19):
So, grandmother, you said that there was someone we might
be able to speak to you in town, one of
the spirit colors. Yes, what was their name?
Speaker 7 (01:28:31):
That we should be looking for?
Speaker 5 (01:28:33):
Ah, spirit color in town had been some time? You
think they were cool?
Speaker 3 (01:28:41):
So there.
Speaker 5 (01:28:44):
Yes, she's an older elf. I haven't spoken with her
for some time, but I believe she is in town
these days. I feel.
Speaker 4 (01:29:02):
And have any of the the kids said anything when
they come to help, any rumors anything happening in town
that maybe we might want to look into.
Speaker 5 (01:29:15):
Oh, oh, nothing. Aside from.
Speaker 13 (01:29:22):
Some of the.
Speaker 5 (01:29:25):
The talk of the Amberstone Council, I believe there were
talk so that.
Speaker 3 (01:29:35):
I think that.
Speaker 5 (01:29:38):
Ellen Drath was putting together more. They were putting together
more representatives for the council. They were worried about something
to do with the I'm sorry, dear, it's been it's been.
Speaker 7 (01:30:00):
Oh, it's okay, it's been.
Speaker 5 (01:30:02):
Maybe a week since I heard they said something about. Yeah,
Yemberstone Council representatives from ellen Dras were being oh something
(01:30:23):
about syntharists. They weren't the difficult relations with Synthist Yeah,
the hmm, I'm sorry it slipped my mind.
Speaker 7 (01:30:39):
That's all right.
Speaker 4 (01:30:39):
We can ask around, but it has to do with
the Synthorians. And yes, our council members here and Ellen Dratz.
Speaker 5 (01:30:49):
Yes, they were worried about hostilities.
Speaker 3 (01:30:54):
Uh, that's what it was.
Speaker 5 (01:30:57):
They were worrying about his Sorry, hostility is beginning again
between Ellen dress and and Paris. I think rumors of
usage bimber Storm.
Speaker 6 (01:31:15):
After the war. Yes, does something happen?
Speaker 5 (01:31:20):
I don't know nothing here least.
Speaker 6 (01:31:26):
Oh sounds like we need to head into town.
Speaker 4 (01:31:30):
Yes, we can ask around.
Speaker 6 (01:31:33):
While you finish all of that, and can go check
on everyone on the ship and bring them back here.
Speaker 4 (01:31:42):
Yes, yes, I'll get the table set and get everybody
ready for breakfast.
Speaker 6 (01:31:45):
Then all right, I get up, I head out through
the front door, and I accidentally don't close it behind me.
Speaker 5 (01:32:00):
Okay, fair enough? All right?
Speaker 1 (01:32:06):
So, uh, Ristleth and Bo, you are both sort of
just kind of helping out. Are you actually helping out?
Speaker 12 (01:32:16):
Bow?
Speaker 1 (01:32:16):
Are you just observing.
Speaker 9 (01:32:19):
Anything that is wasted or fuls on the floor.
Speaker 3 (01:32:22):
Is never seen again?
Speaker 4 (01:32:24):
All that peanut buttery is just like.
Speaker 9 (01:32:28):
I am a rumba baby.
Speaker 1 (01:32:32):
Okay, fair enough.
Speaker 6 (01:32:35):
Is the floor shiny after you're done sucking?
Speaker 9 (01:32:37):
It always.
Speaker 6 (01:32:41):
Does it smell like lysol?
Speaker 1 (01:32:43):
M M, I'm all my.
Speaker 9 (01:32:45):
Hand sanitizer, but similar nice.
Speaker 6 (01:32:51):
I love the smell of hand sanitizer.
Speaker 1 (01:32:56):
We leave ellen Drath. We head to some place far
colder in the frozen north, the tundra of the cyberpunk
(01:33:17):
undead nation of Cryptia. Moon, you have major way to
the docks of Cravenstone. M. What does it look like, Uh,
like a corporate dock.
Speaker 10 (01:33:38):
This is like.
Speaker 1 (01:33:41):
Uh bloated with shipping pollution, and like there's a murkiness
to the water in the area. It stinks, It smells
ghastly here, and it is is frankly just not a
(01:34:03):
pleasant place to be. There are undead of varying varieties
that are about here.
Speaker 9 (01:34:11):
Moon.
Speaker 1 (01:34:12):
You can see that there are some that are some
kind of like big like almost like ogreish looking undead
that are like maybe some kind of ghoul. You know,
they're they're they're covered in some kind of like rotting flesh,
(01:34:35):
but it's not like you can see their bones or anything.
Speaker 2 (01:34:39):
And they're.
Speaker 1 (01:34:41):
Yeah, they're they're hauling like heavy, heavy looking crates. They
have a few that you can see that are you know,
on some kind of like vehicles almost like forklifts that
are being pushed around.
Speaker 17 (01:35:00):
Yeah, uh, excuse me, excuse me. And I look at
this particular undead character that the one nearest me who's
handling what looks to be some kind of vehicle. Yeah, hey, I.
Speaker 1 (01:35:23):
Do you.
Speaker 9 (01:35:26):
Would you are? I?
Speaker 17 (01:35:32):
I was, uh, and I'm like taken aback because like
half his face has like fallen off.
Speaker 7 (01:35:37):
Like.
Speaker 1 (01:35:39):
This creature has its flesh intact. It's just kind of smelly.
Speaker 17 (01:35:44):
And oh okay, uh, well, I was looking for transportation.
Is there a boat I can maybe I don't know
use yeah, yeah, of ferry, a boat anything, a ship.
Speaker 3 (01:36:06):
Shies a harbor mash.
Speaker 13 (01:36:10):
Oh ship in boat?
Speaker 17 (01:36:14):
Now okay, all right, thanks. And I kind of like
dash off, just like because he definitely smelled like fart,
and I kind of look around looking for any signs
holicer crates and it's still kind of snowing a little bit.
Speaker 1 (01:36:33):
Lots of signs. Actually, yeah, it's it's kind of a logistical.
I don't want to say it's not a nightmare, but
there's a lot of logistics that are happening here. So
like there's first of all, there's like company logos on
a bunch of different things. You can see, uh some
(01:36:53):
some you've seen around town. You can see the obviously
the Craven More logo. You can see that they're here
is to be. There's a lot of stuff going on
on this dock, like it's it's super busy, and there's
probably something like twenty your thirty ships that you can
see that are kind of moored at the moment. There's
(01:37:14):
a big dock.
Speaker 17 (01:37:19):
I don't see any other method of getting out of
this city. But I'm looking at the ships. What's the
smallest looking one?
Speaker 1 (01:37:36):
Uh, smallest looking ship is not very small?
Speaker 7 (01:37:42):
Okay, let's see here.
Speaker 1 (01:37:55):
Okay, so it's probably the ship I imagine that you
see is like the size of it's definitely not like ridiculous,
(01:38:18):
but I imagine it's pretty it's pretty large. Like the
ships that they're using are also kind of modern looking,
like if you imagine, like you know those big cargo
ships that just have the crates on them. Yeah, yeah,
it's not anywhere close to that size. I would imagine
it's probably like an eighth of that size maybe something
(01:38:41):
like that. So I don't know how big those are.
But it's probably something like one hundred to two hundred
feet something like that.
Speaker 17 (01:38:49):
Okay, I take a look around. Harbormaster, harper Master, Harbourmaster.
They all look the same.
Speaker 1 (01:38:57):
Dude, there's probably a sign for the harbor Master.
Speaker 17 (01:39:03):
Yeah, I I am like it. Okay, there it is
right over there, and I.
Speaker 1 (01:39:07):
Kind of what's crazy is like this place is probably
way more organized than like clatter Point. Flatter Point was
like a mess that was everything was kind of kind
of like built on each other. This is kind of organized. Yeah,
it's kind of organized. There's it stinks, and there's a
lot of trash around, and there's graffiti and shit everywhere.
(01:39:28):
You can see a lot of that clack clack uh
graffiti everywhere, and you and now you're starting to realize
that some of the stuff that's been graffiti on the
wall are like caricatures of of Craven more of laser
Craven more.
Speaker 10 (01:39:45):
Ah.
Speaker 17 (01:39:47):
Starting to understand that more and more every time I
see one that's that's pretty accurate.
Speaker 1 (01:39:56):
But there's a there's a harbor Master's office. It's not
very hard to find. You don't even have to make
a role for it.
Speaker 17 (01:40:01):
Okay, I make my way over there, and.
Speaker 1 (01:40:05):
There's you know, like the arrival and departure signs at
an airport. Uh, there's probably some monitors just outside of
the office, so you can see like a big fucking list.
It's like you went to a like a big airport,
but it's a shipyard and it has uh yeah, it
just has a list of arrivals and departures.
Speaker 17 (01:40:27):
Oh, departures. And I'm looking at the departure list. Ye
koga on the list.
Speaker 1 (01:40:38):
Oh, give, let's do a role for this. Let's make
some let's do some fun, some fun rolls, roll me
and insight. Insight. I'm gonna say, difficulty is going to
be and this is a role check, difficulty is going
to be probably fourteen okay, okay.
Speaker 17 (01:41:10):
Ooh that's a six failure none zero, no coca. Okay.
What is on the list? What can I see? That's
that's obviously like, oh, lots of departures to this place.
Speaker 1 (01:41:26):
So there's a lot of departures to Millifax, specifically to Skaldmere. Yeah,
that's where most of them go.
Speaker 10 (01:41:38):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:41:38):
There is also a there is also a departure that's
probably leaving within the next two hours for a for
as Gore.
Speaker 11 (01:41:55):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:41:55):
Specifically the port of Svelark.
Speaker 17 (01:42:00):
Do I know where that is?
Speaker 1 (01:42:02):
You can make an insight. Insight difficulty will be ten.
Speaker 17 (01:42:06):
Okay, I'm not certain that I know where that is.
To be honest with you, right off the back. Uh
oh that's another six. That's a failure.
Speaker 1 (01:42:18):
The you you would recognize as Gore, but you've never
been to spy Lark.
Speaker 17 (01:42:23):
Okay, mm hmmm, well ok, Caveral, I don't know if
that I want to go to mill Offax. When's the
next departure for Skaldmere.
Speaker 11 (01:42:37):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:42:37):
The next departure for Skaldmure six hours?
Speaker 17 (01:42:47):
And I look defeated.
Speaker 1 (01:42:51):
Yeah, the the nearest upcoming departure is headed to spay
Lark and as Gore, that's in two hours.
Speaker 17 (01:43:00):
And I look back behind me and I hold my nose.
Oh god, I just want to get out of here.
And I go in and I look at the surroundings
and I look for a place to purchase.
Speaker 1 (01:43:19):
It looks like the DMV inside here. It's there's it
looks like the DMV inside here.
Speaker 17 (01:43:25):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:43:25):
Yeah, there's like those fucking those stand up ribbon things
that dividers for different lines, and you can see there's
just like a set of lines of undead creatures just
like queuing up in these lines, and it's just it's
such a weird because everything's all organized, but it's really.
Speaker 17 (01:43:49):
Like Beetlejuice, like you know, like that scene in the movie.
It's like they're all lady, they're all.
Speaker 1 (01:43:55):
On dead spot on and it's yeah, it's just it's horrific.
Like it's just it smells horrible, and it is. It's
very orderly, but it smells and it's a little trashed.
It's got that you know, it's got the cyberpunk aesthetic.
(01:44:17):
So everything's a little bit dirty and like it smells,
and there's a lot of logistics happening. You know, there's
all these charts and shit hung up on the wall.
And yeah, there's probably like a slightly broken like set
(01:44:37):
of monitors, you know that's probably showing like the number
being served or whatever. And there's probably like a little
like a machine or something near the front of the
lines for people to take a number, because there's a
bunch of people that are sat down on chairs as well.
Speaker 17 (01:44:56):
Around and I'll take a number and a like yank
it out.
Speaker 7 (01:45:06):
What is it?
Speaker 1 (01:45:07):
One and fifty three?
Speaker 17 (01:45:09):
Wow, that's crazy. I was thinking one forty nine, one
fifty three. Okay, can I go sit down somewhere?
Speaker 1 (01:45:20):
Oh yeah, there's probably like a a seat. You can see.
There's probably like like most of the people that are
in here probably work like at the docks or something,
or they're like a ship captain. But just from like
first glances, it looks like everybody's like some kind of
an undead creature that's here.
Speaker 17 (01:45:42):
Okay, I go have a seat on uh, on the
bench in the back, and I just kind of stare
at this number up at the sign or are they
calling now? Is there any sort of indications.
Speaker 1 (01:45:55):
It says, uh, one hundred and thirty two.
Speaker 17 (01:46:00):
Okay, Okay, that's not the But I just kind of
lean back, start twiddling my thumbs and I look around.
It smells really bad, so I'm just kind of trying
not to be obvious about that.
Speaker 1 (01:46:14):
But yes, yeah, as you're looking around, the person that's
like sitting next to you is just kind of like
their head is lulled to the side a little bit.
It's probably like a uh I imagine it's a woman, uh,
and she's got like her jaw looks dislocated, and it's
(01:46:35):
kind of hanging there, and there's just some kind of
like liquid that's slowly weaking. It's definitely not saliva.
Speaker 6 (01:46:48):
You got some?
Speaker 17 (01:46:48):
Uh, you got some? So you got some? Hello? H
And I just kind of my face.
Speaker 7 (01:47:08):
Yeah, you just you up.
Speaker 17 (01:47:14):
And I use my part of my cape like oh
here here, here, there you go. That's that's gotta be
a little better, right.
Speaker 1 (01:47:23):
Yeah, like you clean it up, and then like a
minute later, starts fleeing.
Speaker 17 (01:47:31):
So what do you do? Where are you? Where are
you going?
Speaker 13 (01:47:35):
Why?
Speaker 17 (01:47:38):
Where are you going? Where you where you headed?
Speaker 7 (01:47:43):
Ah?
Speaker 18 (01:47:45):
I'm man waiting to speak to the staff about purchasing
a license to bring in goods importing?
Speaker 17 (01:48:03):
Okay, cool?
Speaker 7 (01:48:07):
What kind of guy are you?
Speaker 15 (01:48:11):
Uh?
Speaker 17 (01:48:12):
I look at my number. I guess I score and
I shrug.
Speaker 5 (01:48:22):
You do a lot of business with that?
Speaker 9 (01:48:24):
I score?
Speaker 1 (01:48:28):
Not yet, No, I mean craven Stone.
Speaker 17 (01:48:35):
Oh uh, not really.
Speaker 7 (01:48:42):
And I lean in.
Speaker 17 (01:48:45):
I don't really like the guy. Oh the guy you know, laser.
Speaker 5 (01:48:56):
A laser craven more mm hmmm.
Speaker 18 (01:49:01):
I was saying craven Stone does a lot of business
with asgre.
Speaker 16 (01:49:08):
Oh yeah, And I'm floundering like, yeah, sure, I think probably.
Speaker 4 (01:49:22):
We do it.
Speaker 17 (01:49:26):
Okay, cock couse I'm kind of like, oh oh, the
drools coming back in full force.
Speaker 1 (01:49:36):
She's got some kind of like spittoon, you know, like
a little can that she uses a spittoon.
Speaker 12 (01:49:43):
Yeah, sure, sorry, come time with the postley cloud.
Speaker 6 (01:50:00):
Yay?
Speaker 5 (01:50:01):
Yeah. Still ascor. Ascor sells us a lot of Kindu parts.
Speaker 17 (01:50:13):
And I perk up kaiju.
Speaker 7 (01:50:17):
Yeah, oh.
Speaker 17 (01:50:23):
Oh well, how what kind of parts?
Speaker 5 (01:50:31):
Whatever's left over?
Speaker 10 (01:50:35):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (01:50:36):
Is that song?
Speaker 17 (01:50:36):
Okay?
Speaker 10 (01:50:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 18 (01:50:40):
Sometimes it's bones, sometimes blood, sometimes other stuff that comes
out of them.
Speaker 17 (01:50:52):
Sure, yeah, waste that?
Speaker 5 (01:50:55):
Why not?
Speaker 17 (01:50:56):
Yeah, I'm transfixed by the drooling.
Speaker 18 (01:51:07):
So I was looking to get a license set up
so I could import some of the things that they
are willing to trade. I've got a contact and it's
very lark m.
Speaker 17 (01:51:25):
Oh. That's that's good to know. You seem you seem trustworthy,
like you know what you're doing.
Speaker 5 (01:51:35):
Thanks. I don't know if that's a good track to
have as a business person.
Speaker 17 (01:51:42):
No, mhm, that's fair. I've certainly dealt with my fair
share of people who they don't really have anybody else's
best interests. So I look at the number being called yep.
Speaker 1 (01:52:04):
Yeah, and there's like, I mean, it's like the more
that this person like talks to you. There's this like
rolling stench, you know that. You know, how like when
you talk to somebody with bad breath, it starts to
like permeate Yep, everything around you like gets into your clothes.
It's a little bit like that.
Speaker 17 (01:52:24):
Yeah, yeah, I just keep looking at my number like
it's gonna happen.
Speaker 8 (01:52:35):
Oh.
Speaker 5 (01:52:35):
I was looking by some of the parts that they
get from some of their Kaiju hunts. They work with
up people in a tesla a Tessa keeps half of
the kaiqu ascort gets the other half. Is that much
(01:52:56):
a contracts?
Speaker 10 (01:52:59):
Huh?
Speaker 17 (01:53:02):
Why what else we're beginning gontro parts though?
Speaker 5 (01:53:06):
Well, they send adventurers in you cats up.
Speaker 3 (01:53:13):
The people have ascor like.
Speaker 18 (01:53:15):
You, challenge themselves some of the mightiest warriors in Regalia.
Speaker 17 (01:53:29):
Have you ever been there yourself?
Speaker 5 (01:53:32):
I've been there a few times.
Speaker 17 (01:53:36):
What's it like?
Speaker 5 (01:53:39):
Well, different than here, that's for sure. Hey, I would
call it.
Speaker 17 (01:53:50):
Oh okay, they don't like our technology. They don't hoko
no oh.
Speaker 3 (01:54:03):
People there are.
Speaker 5 (01:54:06):
Very independent, hm.
Speaker 10 (01:54:13):
And they.
Speaker 5 (01:54:15):
Have a culture that believes in strengths and sorry ah
some I some of their people think that it's normal
(01:54:40):
to do that.
Speaker 17 (01:54:42):
Huh. Well, that's just I feel like that's intentionally holding
yourself back. Why not work with technology?
Speaker 7 (01:54:55):
That's oh no, but.
Speaker 5 (01:55:00):
They had some.
Speaker 18 (01:55:03):
Technology that we have, their lives would probably be a
lot easier. Maybe that's why they're so strong.
Speaker 17 (01:55:13):
Hm, strong and stubborn. It sounds like, yeah, I can
expect that when I get there. You know, I've actually
enjoyed my time here in Cryptia.
Speaker 5 (01:55:25):
Really mm hmm.
Speaker 17 (01:55:28):
What's your name?
Speaker 5 (01:55:32):
My name is Mildred.
Speaker 17 (01:55:35):
Him Mildred, I'm Moon And I extend a hand.
Speaker 1 (01:55:41):
See sort of wiggles her face down to look at
your hand, and then shakily kind of grabs it. And
there's like a fragility, but also as sort of there's
a firmness to the handshake. But maybe you like hear
(01:56:02):
some bones pop.
Speaker 17 (01:56:03):
Yeah, it's it's like grabbing like like a plastic bag
like full of pencils or something, whereas there's like no meat.
You're just oh, okay, I'm not going to break this.
So I take her hand very very gingerly. It's good
to meet you, dang. A lot of people here have
(01:56:24):
actually been pretty friendly. I just kind of popped out
of out of nowhere here. Do people do that often?
Do they just show up and Cryptia randomly, she.
Speaker 1 (01:56:34):
Like sort of leans over and I'm not going to
do it because I hurt my back. But she leans
over and you know, like conspiratorially, and uh.
Speaker 13 (01:56:45):
She said, I.
Speaker 5 (01:56:48):
Need to be rude, but you smell pretty bad.
Speaker 17 (01:56:58):
I know, listen, I'm a fleshy. Okay, I don't know
how many people notice. Maybe it's really noticeable, but it
smells pretty bad for me in here too.
Speaker 3 (01:57:14):
Why are you here?
Speaker 17 (01:57:17):
That's a good question, Noldred. I'm trying to figure that
out myself.
Speaker 5 (01:57:22):
Yeah, I know everybody's gonna try to eat.
Speaker 17 (01:57:25):
You, right, so far, so good. Just don't take a
chump out of me. Okay, probably not that good.
Speaker 1 (01:57:36):
Mildred's like slowly been raising your hand up by the way,
like really slowly, Like why are you shaking your hand?
Like you know, like when a dog sort of puts
there themselves like closer and closer to food, you know,
and like they're casually trying to reach for your hamburgers.
Speaker 17 (01:57:54):
It's kind of like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's a little.
Speaker 12 (01:57:58):
Bit like that.
Speaker 1 (01:57:58):
You just realize now which she's doing.
Speaker 17 (01:58:01):
I sort of take my hand back, like ah, yes, yes, sorry,
that's okay. I figure that's just instinct. Listen, I'm gonna
get up and walk around, maybe go see if there's
a restroom somewhere. It's been lovely talking to you, Mildred,
and I promptly get up and I walk away.
Speaker 1 (01:58:18):
Yep, you're looking for a bathroom.
Speaker 17 (01:58:25):
Yeah, I'm looking for anywhere that's not next to Mildred.
Speaker 1 (01:58:27):
Yeah. Well there's plenty of places that aren't next to Mildred.
Most of most of these places are not next Okay, great.
Speaker 17 (01:58:34):
Great, I'm trying to be in conspicuous but probably failing.
If there is a restroom anywhere to freshen up in
the dirt, I want to go do that.
Speaker 1 (01:58:42):
Sure, yeah, absolutely, you head in wonderful, I just need
to like reset. Wonderful smell of like manure and composts
like smacks.
Speaker 3 (01:58:52):
You in the face.
Speaker 17 (01:58:59):
I go in, yeah, to hold my breath.
Speaker 1 (01:59:02):
You can see the troughs around.
Speaker 17 (01:59:05):
Oh, I look at the manure.
Speaker 9 (01:59:13):
M hm.
Speaker 17 (01:59:15):
Oh oh, and I grab some of it.
Speaker 1 (01:59:24):
Oh yeah, yeah, somebody else is doing the same, like
probably look at the neighborly nod to you the like shout,
(01:59:45):
chow down on some of that manure.
Speaker 17 (01:59:50):
I just put it all over my face, just cover
myself with it.
Speaker 7 (01:59:54):
I got you gotta do this, I gotta do this.
Speaker 1 (01:59:57):
And I'm looking at the mirror like, hey, you look
pretty shitty.
Speaker 17 (02:00:02):
Oh ah. And I walked back out there, covered in minorth.
Speaker 1 (02:00:15):
Really blending in now.
Speaker 7 (02:00:17):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 1 (02:00:19):
Your number pops up on the screen.
Speaker 17 (02:00:24):
Just at this point out of the I think my
my smell is destroyed, like my ole factory senses are
like they are gone. I walk up.
Speaker 5 (02:00:34):
I'd like.
Speaker 17 (02:00:36):
One for escort, please.
Speaker 5 (02:00:39):
Yeah, you want in that ship?
Speaker 7 (02:00:44):
Yep?
Speaker 18 (02:00:45):
Okay, let's see there's some space small freight ship headingness
fay Lark.
Speaker 9 (02:00:57):
I'll take it.
Speaker 5 (02:01:00):
It'll be fifties in it.
Speaker 17 (02:01:04):
A rustle around.
Speaker 7 (02:01:07):
Here we go.
Speaker 17 (02:01:08):
Can I just drop all the change into into his hand,
into his bony hand.
Speaker 1 (02:01:14):
Sure? Yeah, And you do this and there's probably like
a h you know, the typical exchange of goods what
have you? That happened, And then there's like a little
notification that pings through the building. You can hear a
(02:01:41):
sort of it just sounds like a pleasant sort of
chime boom boomo. Don't have one handy, but uh, it's
just a sort of pleasant chime boom boom boom boom,
and you you can hear this familiar voice ring through
(02:02:01):
some kind of intercom.
Speaker 10 (02:02:03):
Hello, citizens of a craven Stone. This is Laser craven Mark,
and I'm just going ahead and giving you the pleasure
of my voice. That's right, be excited. I'll give you
a moment.
Speaker 17 (02:02:27):
Do other people look excited in this room?
Speaker 1 (02:02:30):
Everyone just looks like there's just groans again.
Speaker 5 (02:02:34):
This guy never shuts up.
Speaker 17 (02:02:37):
Tell me about him with the crowd.
Speaker 10 (02:02:42):
Everyone needs to be on the lookout because there's a futureive.
That's right, we have a future Tive in craven Stone. Everyone,
please be on the lookout. There's one tall drink of
coming through. She's a Celesti and we'll look at that.
(02:03:07):
She might even be the Savior. She's not. Don't worry,
she's not the Savior. I promise. What I want you
to do if you see this creature is to let
the nearest God know. And if you see her, you
should probably do this immediately. If you don't, there will
(02:03:30):
be penalties. And when I say penalties, I mean the
final death.
Speaker 1 (02:03:38):
People start muttering around the building out please give me
an open check. Decks, decks.
Speaker 17 (02:03:54):
I'm just muttering and drawning her room.
Speaker 1 (02:03:58):
Okay, yeah, so there's some muttering around U.
Speaker 10 (02:04:06):
I know we've got a picture around here somewhere. I'm
sorry for the footage, but it's kind of shit.
Speaker 1 (02:04:13):
And you see this like blurry cam footage go up
on the monitors of your encounter with laser craven More.
It's real shitty and like it's got the artifacting that
happens with like a highly compressed jpeg, you know, and
you can't super tell that it's you, but it gives
(02:04:33):
you like a rough shape and it's probably like fifteen
feet away something like that.
Speaker 11 (02:04:42):
You know.
Speaker 1 (02:04:42):
It's like it's like a shitty like a street light
camera kind of view of you.
Speaker 10 (02:04:50):
Be on the lookout.
Speaker 17 (02:04:53):
That is all.
Speaker 10 (02:04:55):
No, and one more thing, make sure to buy the
nearest craven Stone probably craven More product that you can find.
If you don't, well that will probably mean your final
death as well. Good day.
Speaker 17 (02:05:14):
I look back at the uh, the the clerk m
hm that I I really try to keep a solid
poker phase and just hope that I cover myself in
enough shit.
Speaker 1 (02:05:30):
The clerk is uh not even paying attention to you. Uh,
they are just handing you back your money and uh,
probably some kind of ticket.
Speaker 5 (02:05:42):
Huh a day.
Speaker 9 (02:05:53):
You two?
Speaker 17 (02:05:56):
Uh where do I go for?
Speaker 6 (02:05:58):
Where I'm ahead?
Speaker 5 (02:06:00):
Where's the check? The departures?
Speaker 2 (02:06:05):
The doc on your ticket?
Speaker 3 (02:06:09):
Great?
Speaker 5 (02:06:09):
Thank you?
Speaker 17 (02:06:10):
And I kind of shuffle away, kind of look like, hey,
wait a minute. I turned back around.
Speaker 7 (02:06:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:06:22):
I like what you've done with your makeup. It's real nice.
Speaker 1 (02:06:27):
Oh smile and there's like a worm that's kind of
wiggly like between some teeth.
Speaker 17 (02:06:34):
Like, but I appreciate that. Trying a new look today.
Speaker 3 (02:06:42):
Have a good one.
Speaker 1 (02:06:44):
You're literally covered and ship.
Speaker 17 (02:06:46):
Just I turned back around like, ye, just and I
head out towards the departure the doc.
Speaker 1 (02:07:00):
Yeah, there's definitely a few people that look your way
as you're leaving, and I think you can hear some
mumbles like.
Speaker 10 (02:07:09):
What was that.
Speaker 7 (02:07:12):
Very tall?
Speaker 1 (02:07:14):
You can hear some muttering before you leave. You head
back outside and are you looking for the dock? What
are you doing?
Speaker 15 (02:07:23):
Yep?
Speaker 17 (02:07:24):
Yeah, I'm going towards it directly.
Speaker 1 (02:07:27):
Okay. As you get closer to the docks, yeah, you
can see that there are more. I mean, it's it's
about what you'd expect. People are loading crates on and
off of ships. And you can see some crazy shit
being loaded onto some of these ships and offloaded. You
(02:07:47):
can see some of these kaiju parts off of probably
some of the really huge ships. Oh, what kind of
party insight? Insight? Please open chet.
Speaker 17 (02:08:00):
Okay, that's a sixteen critical.
Speaker 1 (02:08:06):
What what would you like your opportunity to be?
Speaker 17 (02:08:09):
Oh, let me let me take a quick look at
the opportunity list. I've got it right here, so you
might what might benefit me in the moments, You know what,
I think I would really like to spot a useful
clue or detail I would like I would like information.
Speaker 1 (02:08:32):
Okay. Uh so, first and foremost, you were just looking
at the kaiju parts. You recognize this dead hiju. This
was the kaiju that you fought about a month and
a half ago in centauris Whoh, it's divided up. It's
(02:09:00):
divided up. But yeah, and it's like all rotting and
disgusting and.
Speaker 15 (02:09:07):
Whoa.
Speaker 1 (02:09:07):
There's literally a few ships to get here. There's literally
like a few ships that are like also covered in
shit by the.
Speaker 17 (02:09:15):
Way, like they've been somewhere and they got covered in shit.
Speaker 1 (02:09:22):
I mean the deck of the ship has massive mounds
of manure on it.
Speaker 17 (02:09:27):
Ah, I see more manure.
Speaker 1 (02:09:32):
And there's like a really pleasant logo on the side
of the ship. It says like, I don't have a
name for it, So this is what I should have
come up with a name for this company. But we
need a good name in chat. What's a good name
for this this company? This it's probably like a makeup
or a perfume company that has taken some kind of
(02:09:57):
twist on ship or manure. And and yeah, it's like
but it's like a real happy, like pleasant logo on it,
you know, foul plays and bad Frank, that's pretty good.
We'll say it's foul play, Yeah.
Speaker 17 (02:10:13):
Foul plays cute.
Speaker 1 (02:10:15):
Yeah, and it's it's you can tell it looks like
a makeup logo, you know, like it's yeah, it's like
a like yeah, absolutely, Like the top the top deck
is just mounds of ship on top of it.
Speaker 17 (02:10:32):
All right, familiar to you, Yep, yep, I make my
way onto this ship.
Speaker 1 (02:10:40):
Is also good. That's also a good one.
Speaker 17 (02:10:43):
Oh god, So yeah, I I I I am looking
for somebody to just give my give my ticket to.
Speaker 1 (02:10:54):
Yeah, eventually you find the ship. I'm gonna say it
doesn't take you very long. You got a high insight
score there. So yeah, it's everything's like well organized. You
find your ship and whatnot fairly easily. This one appears
to be carrying the crates were all like boarded up.
(02:11:15):
It looks like one of those big crate container ships.
But again it's not that big. It's it's about one
eighth the size of those giant container ships, so instead
of housing hundreds of crates, it probably houses like around fifty.
They're kind of like they're like those steel storage crates.
(02:11:40):
I'll piggyback off of your insight role here and I'll
say that you're able to see some stuff getting loaded
into these crates before they're closed up. Maybe there's maybe
somebody had to check one of the crates or something
before it was it was leaving. There's somebody checking a
manifest or something, and you can see that it looks
(02:12:02):
like it's full of uh weapons. You see swords and
shields and uh probably some various different kinds of metal weapons.
Speaker 17 (02:12:20):
Huh. I wonder where these are going, why they're going there?
Speaker 5 (02:12:27):
Hm hm hmans.
Speaker 1 (02:12:30):
As you make your way onto the ship, somebody probably
just takes your ticket and says, uh.
Speaker 18 (02:12:41):
Yeah, take it looks good. Good thing we don't check
visus here. Nobody really wants to make your way to Cryptia.
Usually wear nice perfume.
Speaker 17 (02:13:02):
Thank you by it's a new scent, my foul play.
Speaker 18 (02:13:10):
I thought I recognized it. Why don't you head up
with the rest of the passengers.
Speaker 1 (02:13:18):
Okay, what's the front of the ship. Is it the bow?
Speaker 17 (02:13:23):
I think so? Yeah, the stern is the back. I
think the bow is the front.
Speaker 5 (02:13:27):
Okay, I did a bow. That's where passengers ride.
Speaker 9 (02:13:35):
Okay, thank you.
Speaker 17 (02:13:37):
And I shuffle away. I kind of like drag my
foot behind.
Speaker 1 (02:13:41):
Me, like sure, you make your way there. Not too
many passengers. It's probably a smattering like this place. I
imagine there's probably not a lot of passenger transport going
to sway Lark, probably only five or six in here.
(02:14:03):
And it's you know, just kind of like a it's
not the cabin's not really small or anything. Have you
ever been on like a ferry, like if like if
you've ever been on a ferry, I know in New
York just because that's where I live. Ferry like a
Staten Island ferry or anything along those lines. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
so it yeah, I mean it's not gigantic. Okay, the
(02:14:26):
cabin here, maybe houses at maximum twenty people.
Speaker 17 (02:14:32):
Okay, all right, I'm just kind of shuffling in.
Speaker 1 (02:14:38):
Growning it, and I imagine there's maybe like six people here.
Speaker 17 (02:14:42):
Okay, I kind of shuffle in and look for a
spot to either sit or stand. If there's any room,
I'll just I'll just wait.
Speaker 1 (02:14:51):
Sure, yep, you're just gonna sit here and wait, like, uh,
you were in that building, the Harbor Masters building, probably
for like maybe an hour.
Speaker 17 (02:15:04):
Okay, that's not too bad. That's not too bad.
Speaker 1 (02:15:06):
So I imagine that you probably yeah, you probably just
have like an hour or so to go.
Speaker 10 (02:15:11):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (02:15:13):
Okay, do me a favor and roll me an open
decks decks check.
Speaker 17 (02:15:18):
Okay, that's an eight Okay.
Speaker 1 (02:15:31):
Oki Doki. You're waiting here for maybe like half an
hour forty five minutes, twiddling your thumbs. There's an announcement
that comes over some kind of loud speaker.
Speaker 15 (02:15:45):
This is your captain speaking. Will your help be to
party craven stove fifteen minutes? How we are due first.
Speaker 5 (02:16:00):
Say lark. A reminder when venturing.
Speaker 15 (02:16:06):
Into spay Lark, make sure to describe yourself as drowger.
If you call yourself undead, they will react poorly.
Speaker 17 (02:16:22):
That is all my face falls at hearing this.
Speaker 9 (02:16:31):
What that's just that's just.
Speaker 17 (02:16:37):
What And I'm trying not to like get too upset
about it.
Speaker 7 (02:16:41):
But oh, that's so mean.
Speaker 5 (02:16:43):
I can't believe they would.
Speaker 3 (02:16:44):
I mean, I'm long day.
Speaker 17 (02:16:48):
And in my head, what why don't drogger? Okay, droger?
But oh yeah, I guess they would attack the undead
because they're undead.
Speaker 7 (02:16:54):
But but undead.
Speaker 17 (02:16:56):
Wow, I would have attacked the undead mhm.
Speaker 1 (02:16:59):
One of the things that you can see out on
probably like a small island, one of those things you
notice while you're kind of waiting here moon because you
see a familiar sight of an emberstone tower. It's a
small island just off the coast, and you just recognize
(02:17:29):
it because you've you've you've helped in a few locations
to make sure those get set up, and you recognize
one of them just outside.
Speaker 17 (02:17:41):
Yeah, I remember that in a Tessa. They need that
right for the kaiju.
Speaker 1 (02:17:47):
Well, you also helped put them up to contain the.
Speaker 5 (02:17:52):
Storm veil rift.
Speaker 17 (02:18:00):
How far away is it from where we are.
Speaker 1 (02:18:05):
Less than a mile maybe something underneath just a mile.
Speaker 17 (02:18:09):
Oh, it's wild to see it looking around listening to
the groans. At this point, I'm not even sure I
can smell the poop anymore, just kind of like part
of me. The poop is part of me.
Speaker 1 (02:18:29):
There's like a sort of the sound of like a
few horns going off on this ship. You know, you
can hear like typical sort of boating sounds, right like
you hear fog horns basically going off from a few ships.
(02:18:55):
But you can hear one coming from your ship as well,
which activates, and you can hear like, uh, you can
hear like as well, and you hear the captain again, well,
(02:19:17):
how we de party for s mark h. As you
feel the ship begin to leave, we'll add a little
token to the map, you know where that power is.
(02:19:40):
And you feel the ship begin to be unmoored and
anchor starts to like be reeled up, and uh, there's
some kind of commotion on the deck of the ship
near the containers.
Speaker 17 (02:20:00):
But is it the ship that I'm on right now?
I'm trying to keep my ears.
Speaker 1 (02:20:10):
Peeled sure insight and insight check open check.
Speaker 4 (02:20:18):
You say.
Speaker 17 (02:20:20):
It's an eighth.
Speaker 1 (02:20:23):
Can hear what it's about. There's a few people in
the cabin that also look a bit concerned.
Speaker 13 (02:20:31):
Going on.
Speaker 18 (02:20:33):
I don't know, maybe Craven Moore has some kind of
problem with the shipman going out.
Speaker 5 (02:20:39):
Ertie does that all the time.
Speaker 17 (02:20:46):
I'm just patiently waiting and my heart is hammering. Please
don't come up here, Please.
Speaker 7 (02:20:50):
Don't cook up here.
Speaker 2 (02:20:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:20:54):
There appears to be several armed guards that appear to
be approaching the passenger cabin.
Speaker 17 (02:21:06):
I swallow.
Speaker 1 (02:21:10):
Roughly slam open the door head inside, and they begin
to look around.
Speaker 17 (02:21:20):
What's everybody else doing?
Speaker 1 (02:21:22):
Everyone else looks a bit concerned, and I'm gonna need
you to make a dex dex open check.
Speaker 17 (02:21:31):
Please dex decks open check. That's another right.
Speaker 1 (02:21:43):
They begin to look at each of the passengers. Uh
in earnest, show your cakets, get them out.
Speaker 17 (02:21:57):
I start to get out of my ticket, okay.
Speaker 1 (02:22:07):
And they begin to inspect each passenger and ticket. Eventually
coming to you. You can see this sort of hulking
looking ghoul with massive arms, probably like if you took
like a bodybuilder's arms and you put them on a
(02:22:28):
smaller body. It looks a bit like that.
Speaker 17 (02:22:32):
Okay. I try to scrunch up my face to look
as undead as possible.
Speaker 1 (02:22:38):
They get in close and there's like an eye that's
like got like maybe a detached retina or something. It's
kind of just hanging a little bit and it it
does that like alistair moody thing where it's like it's
looking around like all wildly, and they get like super
(02:22:59):
close to you, and it's like yellowing, like the eyes
yellowing a bit, and you can probably hear it moving
as well, like it locks onto you, Yang.
Speaker 17 (02:23:18):
Dalia and hey, you're pretty good looking.
Speaker 5 (02:23:22):
You work out, I try to stay in shape.
Speaker 1 (02:23:28):
Make a insight and willpower role for me? Please open check.
Speaker 17 (02:23:33):
Insight and will power.
Speaker 9 (02:23:34):
Yep, what's a nine?
Speaker 6 (02:23:38):
What are these roles?
Speaker 7 (02:23:41):
Come?
Speaker 5 (02:23:47):
Let's try to keep it professional.
Speaker 1 (02:23:52):
Yeah, here, look at your ticket. Look at you?
Speaker 5 (02:24:01):
Hey, stand up.
Speaker 17 (02:24:06):
And I stand.
Speaker 1 (02:24:15):
They look at you, and I imagine they're probably about
the same height as you. This creature is some kind
of an amalgamation of parts, so like they're a little
lopsided and like they've got parts. They're a little Frankenstein
happening here and yeah there. Their eyes are like two
(02:24:38):
different colors. That one is kind of like hanging out
a little bit and moving around all wiggly wobbly, and
they say, you look familiar.
Speaker 7 (02:24:50):
Where do I know you from?
Speaker 5 (02:24:53):
I get that a lot.
Speaker 17 (02:24:55):
He ever, bear on that the one corner next to
the restaurant that serves a really good steak. I work there,
And I wink with my other eye. You've probably seen
me before, honey.
Speaker 5 (02:25:11):
The one with the spicy necro sauce.
Speaker 7 (02:25:16):
That's right.
Speaker 5 (02:25:22):
I don't like the spicy necro sauce.
Speaker 3 (02:25:25):
That's not for everybody.
Speaker 5 (02:25:34):
I don't think that's it. Recognize you from somewhere else?
Speaker 7 (02:25:43):
How can I help?
Speaker 1 (02:25:49):
And they give you back your ticket and they slap
you on the upper shoulder and they say.
Speaker 18 (02:26:01):
Now that's a responsible citizen, someone that is looking to
help out the guards.
Speaker 3 (02:26:11):
We're on lookout for.
Speaker 5 (02:26:15):
Definitely not Savior Moon.
Speaker 3 (02:26:20):
We are on the lookout if you see he.
Speaker 5 (02:26:27):
Let us look at it.
Speaker 4 (02:26:31):
Happy to do my part.
Speaker 1 (02:26:35):
And they start to walk away, and they leave the
cabin start talking to some of the other guards outside,
who begin to look through the windows of the cabin
because just like ferries, they have like windows typically around
the all sides of the cabin, so you can like
(02:26:57):
look out onto the water, so you can see them
like talking a little bit, and a few of them
look over towards you.
Speaker 5 (02:27:10):
What do you do?
Speaker 1 (02:27:12):
Sit there, try not to look conspicuous. Okay mm hm.
Speaker 5 (02:27:18):
Fair enough.
Speaker 1 (02:27:19):
You see them begin to draw weapons and point them
your way and they open fire.
Speaker 4 (02:27:26):
Namrano Iluma, Emert.
Speaker 18 (02:27:30):
Give me.
Speaker 17 (02:27:34):
See I get to eat the I know you're moved.
Speaker 1 (02:27:51):
