Thank you, enjoy Moon. As you sit in the passenger
(00:59):
compartment aboard the container ship on your way to Sveylark,
just barely having pulled out of the harbor of Cravenstone,
you are interacted with by a one of the guards
at Cravenstone, apparently on the lookout for you. You threw up
(01:22):
some kind of defensive story. They first seem to buy it,
and then as they left the passenger compartment, you hear
you hear gunfire erupt into the compartment and we're going
to start things off with some combat. Immedia.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Oh okay.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
As the glass begins to break around you and the
various passengers also sharing this ship try to avoid the
shots and the deck. Let's head over.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Here are they shooting?
Speaker 1 (02:13):
Yes, not just you. Also at the passengers.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Oh no, that's not good. Oh that's really not good.
That's very bad.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Sorry, let's are they? Oh?
Speaker 2 (02:25):
No, are they?
Speaker 1 (02:31):
Okay, let's bring it over here. Moon, you were inside
the compartment and there are at least three guards that
are opening fire. You see several of the of these
guards with shotguns blowing out the glass. Let's start things
(02:54):
off with a fun roll. Why don't you roll me
a D six please?
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (03:00):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (03:01):
I also am unaware if this is my character sheet.
I wasn't able to find my character sheet. It's not there,
So I'm going to just roll this here because this
says Moon, but I'm gonna do it. What did you need?
Speaker 1 (03:14):
It's Moon all in caps? Did you get your okay? Yeah,
that's your beers.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Right, Okay, okay, it says it's actually I don't know
if I should say it because it says NPC.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Yeah that's fine, okay, cool, okay, as in the game.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Okay, okay, okay, all right, what did you.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
Need me to roll?
Speaker 1 (03:36):
So you can just roll just a just a D
sex in the chat just slash our space.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Okay, okay, come on, big money four.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
I don't know if that means four of the passengers
get shredded by the gunfire.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
And I didn't want big money.
Speaker 5 (03:57):
If I didn't want big money, I wanted small money.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
Yeah, they just get shredded by the gunfire as you
see the glass erupting all around you. And uh, let's
have you do some initiative. Now, hold on, let me
fix this because this is screwed up. If we do that,
does that work?
Speaker 6 (04:19):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (04:19):
There we go.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Can't believe you had me roll to kill these NPCs?
Speaker 1 (04:25):
Well, put a demon a demon? You know, rolling's fun,
don't we.
Speaker 7 (04:35):
All right?
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Please roll some initiative and shift click the group check
for that.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Do you mean to do group check first or initiative first?
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Shift click, shift click the group check for initiative?
Speaker 2 (04:53):
Okay, got you got You.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
Should be able to just hit the button yourself. I think.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
Twenty three.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
So I think that is calculating it wrong. That should
be a fifteen. I think, oh no, but that is
still more than enough. Yes, so they have shot the passengers,
but you're able to get out of the way the
gunfire hitting you, and it is your turn you go first.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
Oh geez, Okay, So how many of them are there?
Just three?
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Three that are currently visible to you.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
Yeah, okay, h right, I'm not even gonna hesitate. I'm
gonna start channeling so I can release this energy at
these three.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
And I don't know if I'm going to be able
to stand in the way of anybody else, but I'm
out there on the deck now, I've crawled past the
glass and I want to be out there fair enough.
I start channeling.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Okay. They will then go I think we're gonna have
the one in the front go first. They will continue
to open fire with shotgun blasts. You can see they
begin to like spread out around the around the cabin,
(06:27):
and one yells.
Speaker 8 (06:28):
This way, she's crawling out, and yeah, they begin to
take aim.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Shotgun blasts goes off. You see, like a chunk of
the deck sort of turned to shrapnel and explode around you,
but missing you. It is now your turn.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
Okay. After doing a little breathing in and out out,
I'm finally able to unleash this calamity.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
Yeah, so this is going to do this. Yeah, this
is going to cost you forty mana but this will
be variable damage. So you can go ahead and roll
(07:27):
a D three and we'll say that three is the best. Yes, okay, yeah,
so what does this look like as you attack them?
Speaker 2 (07:42):
I'm really concentrated, and I use one hand, one arm
as sort of like a sword through the air, and
you can see this giant, shining blue boomerang of energy
completely tap these dudes.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Yeah. Absolutely, This blue boomerang of energy flies through the
air and you can see it like lances through each
of these creatures. There is a sort of slashing through them,
and you can see them all recoil and pain from
(08:22):
the attack as you deal thirty five damage to each
of them. They are all still up. But you did
a nice hit there, okay.
Speaker 9 (08:39):
Okay, Oh oh.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
You found another bug with a new update. Great, that's
something I gotta fix, you know. Okay, but yes, that
is a hit with the calamity. Okay and see, oh
odd that's gonna take a lot of fixing on my
(09:04):
end at some point soon. Apologies if we have any
snaffoos today here, folks. I updated a bunch of stuff
in in foundry, and there's probably some things that are
going to be broken. I've already went into a big one.
Cool okay, let's.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
Okay, we're all broken here.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Whack Okay, let's see. This one is going to go next,
and let's see what can we do?
Speaker 3 (09:36):
What can we do?
Speaker 1 (09:39):
I think this one is going to rush towards you
and trying to bite you.
Speaker 7 (09:49):
M that.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Yeah, I guess this is slightly better. Yeah, this one
is gonna rush towards you and try to bite you.
The guards are kind of yelling and scattering about.
Speaker 8 (10:09):
I don't know what sort of attack that was, but
bring her down and.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
One of them rushes forward and you just see like
their jaw almost like unhinged, and this like horrific, like
green gas is spilling out across their cheeks as they
rush forward, and we'll try to bite you. That is
a miss with a four. It rushes forward and you
(10:39):
manage to shove them away before they're able to bite you.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
It is your turn, gross, I am gonna go directly
for this one that I think I shoved away since
he's the closest one. And let's see, I'm gonna target
the one closest to me, and I'm gonna take broken
revelry and try and stab at what I can't, even
though he might just mostly be bones, So we'll see
(11:05):
what happens.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
That is a hit, absolutely very nice. Can I do this?
Speaker 6 (11:15):
Will this work?
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Let's find out?
Speaker 2 (11:20):
Gross this?
Speaker 10 (11:31):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (11:32):
That worked? Okay? Cool frocking?
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Okay, gotta get into my like idle stance.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
Okay. This one that you just attacked, you can see
is now in some kind of crisis there. Probably the
wound that you inflicted probably ran through most of their
torso and you can see like some kind of icher
kind of bleeding out of it as they recoil him
(12:06):
pain from the attack.
Speaker 11 (12:08):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
Last one is going to take aim with the shotgun
and try and blast you in the face. That is
a miss. However, as the shotgun goes off, and I
think it just you bring up your shield and you
just kind of deflect the the bullet plug. Okay, you return.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
All right, this guy's getting another keep in health and
of Broken Revelry because he's he's right there. Why not
I get him right in the leg?
Speaker 1 (12:46):
Excellent? Okay? Does work?
Speaker 10 (12:55):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (12:56):
Yes it did?
Speaker 1 (12:56):
Okay, cool? All right, Well I can still do things
that way that work. It was like a manually alkylate
the damage. Yes, another hit with Broken Revelry. You're just
kind of slicing through them moon. It looks almost like
a like a dance as you're moving between these guards
and they look like, I mean, they look like pretty
(13:17):
serious guards. So I think we the audience just see
Moon moving very quickly and dancing between these guards reloading
shotguns and like trying to pounce on her. Moon is
using the shield and just kind of like battering them
out of the way and stabbing with Broken Revelry, and
it looks fairly spectacular. New round your turn.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
Yeah, sorry, buddy, Third time for the charm and I
go for this guy's uh tibia that's poking out.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
Yeah, allse fails, go for the tibia. Yes, another hit,
and yeah this one, this one, Yeah, you can hear
this like horrible crack of the of the tibia snap,
and it's just kind of like hanging out.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
Ah.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
I think she really is the savior. We gotta put
her down. And the other two guards kind of like
look at each other like what.
Speaker 6 (14:19):
The fuck did you just say?
Speaker 1 (14:21):
And there are seriously reconsidering some life choices right now,
or on life choices. I guess let's see here. Uh,
this one that you've been attacking, that you were attacking
with Broken Revelry, I think is going to I think
(14:52):
going to try to bite at you. That's finally a
hit up. And yeah, as you attack with the sword,
they just kind of accept the fact that they're like
getting hit by it, and then like they pull you
in to the attack and they just like bite right
(15:13):
into like the meat of your shoulder meets the arm
that will deal thirteen physical damage and it is your turn.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
Okay, this guy, this is this one right in front
of me. He's like still kind.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
Of locked in.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
So I'm like, uh oh eh, it just smells worse
than anything. And I take broken revelry and I kind
of go backwards in an attempted stab into his neck.
We'll see if that happens or not.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
Is a hit?
Speaker 1 (15:56):
How do you kill it?
Speaker 2 (15:59):
I essentially I do a sort of bicep curl and
you can see the meat from my muscles pretty almost
pop the clothing because it just goes like well, and
it's like an anime moment of sheer, just just muscle shining.
That's all I really wanted for this kill.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
Yeah, it's terrific.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
I just I just get this guy right in the
dome with my sword and then I think the light
in his eyes just kind of like yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
You see the cool cyberpunk glasses like split in half.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
Like see, the problem is that he's his teeth are
still stuck in me. So I'm like, oh, I'm gonna
have to get that. Look at.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
It's definitely infected. Okay, Yeah, let's see. The next one
is gonna go and we'll activate an ability called Guns
of Kimbo and will unleash a hale of bullets and
perform two free attacks on you double shotgun blast headed
your way. The first one is a miss. They do
(17:13):
the terminator thing where they like when Arnold was on
the motorcycle, you know, and he like twirls the fucking shotgun.
It's got that you know, it's got that Yes, that
Remington like that the action on it, and he like
twirls it and like reloads the shotgun in one move
and then like games of sideways and tries to hit you. Yeah,
(17:36):
another miss. Horrible roles today. Uh and uh yeah, Moon
is just you're just like dancing out of the way
of these shots. Uh. They're like awkwardly moving as well.
They don't have like uh they've got like a herky
jerky kind of motion, you know, like it's real like weird,
(17:58):
like you can hear their bones popping every now and
again as they move. They've got like a lot of power,
and they've got like a lot of stank to them,
but I don't know if they've got a lot of
slick moves.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
It is your turn, right, I'm looking at the the
other two guards here, kind of size them up. They
don't look like they have any damage on them, except
for the other the blast froom earlier. So this one
seems to be a bit closer to me. So I'm
just gonna go for the nearest one. I'm gonna look
(18:33):
dead in the eye, and the dead eye the eyes
that are dead, say, do you really want this?
Speaker 1 (18:43):
You can absolutely make a check for me to try
and intimidate these guys. This would probably be like a hinder,
is my guess, but you can potentially attempt to inflict
days shaken slow or week. Let's see if you do that,
this will probably be insight and will power.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
Okay, difficulty.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
Difficulty is going to be uh twelve twelve.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Okay, kind of like puffing out my chest like, hey,
all right, motioned to the guy on the ground, like
you're seeing this? You sure? Are you sure about this?
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
Yep, you see they look they follow your they follow
your line of sight.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
Yeah, that's your buddy, or was your buddy.
Speaker 8 (19:40):
Should we get out of here?
Speaker 1 (19:43):
The other one looks at him. We can just say
we didn't see the savior.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Yeah, that's right, that's exactly what you're aboard this.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
You think graven Stone will even know? I don't know. Oh,
the laser's got eyes everywhere, and you will get to
inflict some kind of hindrance. Day's shaken slow or week.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
Mm hmmm, yeah, probably shaken. Okay, I'm gonna say shaken.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
Okay, it is their turn. The one in the back
is going to make a roll and see if they
want to piece the fuck out. Let's do up and check.
This will be a might and will power. They look
(20:54):
at the dead guard on the ground, they look look
at you, They look at their wounds, and they jump
off the side of the ship. You're out of combat.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
That's right, that was a good move.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
Let's get out of here. I think she really is
the Savior. Lazers fucking crazy.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
I dropped my shield and I immediately turn around and
I go back in the ship area where there were passengers,
and I look for survivors.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
Okay, Insight and Insight, please open check. Seven of the
four that were hit, there are no survivors. The two
that were remaining in the passenger compartment are kind of
(22:08):
just cowering behind their seats as you as you're in here,
I think they're they're looking at you with some obvious
like weariness, having heard what was going on outside.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
It's it's okay, it's okay, they're gone. You can come out.
Speaker 8 (22:46):
Please don't hurt us. We're just trying to sell our
goods in space.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
Marca.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
I I I'm not I'm not going to hurt you.
I'm trying to get to spy Ark as well. I'm
also a passenger.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
Here.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
Is the boat still moving or did this all transpire?
Speaker 1 (23:12):
No, the boat left the harbor. These guards were staying
were on staying on the ship as the boat was beginning.
Speaker 2 (23:18):
The more commotion outside of this.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
Room on the on the ship itself, definitely, And uh,
I don't think you can really notice on the docks,
but yeah, there's definitely commotion on the ship. Okay, hard
to tell really what's going on from inside the passenger compartment,
but yeah, the passengers aren't really looking like super confident
(23:42):
p he's making an insight and willpower open check.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
Open check nine.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
Okay, they still look pretty scared, Moon. They are still
kind of cowering behind their seats.
Speaker 8 (24:05):
Okay, graven Mores after you. I doubt those will be
the last of the guards. A Mighty can send a
ship after us.
Speaker 2 (24:23):
If he does, you can bet that I will try
my best to protect everyone on the ship no matter what.
But and I ad guesture towards the door, I'll leave
and be safe. And I just kind of dash out
(24:48):
of the door because I can sense that they're not
at ease.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
Yeah, you head out onto the ship, which you know
isn't isn't quite as huge as a normal size container ship,
a little bit smaller, but there's still lots of crates
and things about. There's crew that are you know, working
the deck and like you know, potentially like staring. As
(25:20):
you leave that scene.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
I try not to make eye contact with anybody.
Speaker 4 (25:27):
I just.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
Walk forward. Is there any other compartment or another place
to just sit alone.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
There's what appears to be, you know, the the crew area,
but other than that, it's just kind of a bunch
of containers and things out on the ship.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
I'm just going to find an empty part of the bow,
I guess, and just go lean off the edge, not
quite off the edge, but you know, off the side,
just kind of looking at the water hitting the boat.
I'm just going to rest and look out and listen
for any other signs of commotion.
Speaker 3 (26:11):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
The audience sees this container ship heading away from the
craven Stone Harbor. There's a commotion at the harbor. The
docks in general are buzzing with activity, and you can
see lots of guards spreading out, searching various ships and things.
(26:38):
And you can see like laser Craven Moore's party somewhere
on the docks, lasers kind of like yelling at various people.
And you can see that the group is Entourage is
investigating the harbor. The bone Howler dog is sort of
(27:07):
moving about the harbor here, Moon, and you did please
make me a decks and decks open.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
Check Please, decks and decks open check six.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
Okay. The container ship continues on its journey to Spailer
as you just kind of find a spot to stare
over the railing, and the ship sails into the night.
(27:50):
The cold is bitter, and you definitely get looks from
the various crew appear blatantly afraid of you. There's people
that are just still trying to work on the ship,
and there's people that are sort of staring at you periodically,
(28:14):
definitely talking about you. Sorry, I'll try and fix the
dice here.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
I overhear a particularly nosy couple of skeletons, and it's
kind of grating for a couple of minutes, just hearing
their conversation. And then I finally turn to my right
and I go, I can hear you don't kill us, Well,
(28:45):
then stop talking or go someplace else.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
They grumble a little bit, and.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
I grumble right by the way. I just can't even
save people, right, screw them, and I breathe really heavily, Like.
Speaker 3 (29:28):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
Ice flows float in the water various places around you.
The bitter cold blowing across the deck. You can see
like ice forming in various places as the wind has
sort of full rain. Now I look.
Speaker 2 (29:53):
Back at the passenger cabin. They don't want me back
in there. Yeah, so I just kind of try to
warm up my hands. I'm to stay out here. The
coal is kind of helping me center myself just a
(30:13):
little bit more from being so heated. Do I see
anything in the in the distance or is it Is
it still foggy.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
It's real foggy, and it's like nighttime, and it is
it's pretty hard to see. I imagine you probably you
can see the lights and things of the harbor in
the distance.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
Now that FOG's cutting through my robe. With this humidity
and the cold, it's like being cold and a little damp.
That's kind of the worst. So I look around. Is
there any source of warmth, fire, like a torch, any candle,
(30:54):
anything at all?
Speaker 1 (30:55):
Yeah, I mean there's, like I imagine, probably not. The crew
don't really seem fazed by the cold. Yeah, neither did
the people of raven Stone.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
I look around for a blanket, give.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
Me an inside and inside open check, ey, got your cloak.
Speaker 2 (31:28):
I retreat further into my cloak, which is feeling disappointingly
thin at this juncture. I back away from a breezy
part of the ship and I kind of go in
towards the middle where there's some crates, and I place
myself in between the crates. They're like stacked, maybe five
(31:53):
six crates. I don't even know what's in them, but
this is a place where there's no wind at least,
and I just kind of curl up into a ball,
into my cloak and just try and keep myself warm.
Speaker 1 (32:17):
The journey takes you some time at noon. It's not
a short trip. The I imagine the ship is going
(32:40):
to probably not provide like many services or anything for you.
There might be some like food or something in the galley.
They might provide like one or two meals a day
to the passengers. And I'm gonna say that this is
(33:02):
probably going to take you, like most likely like two days.
It's a very lark.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
I am at the end of the first day of
the twenty four hours. I look down on my hands
and they're kind of purple. They look kind of like
I can't really feel them anymore. And I look at
that Guess compartment and I walk over and I can
(33:38):
feel my muscles are just not moving as well because
it's so cold. And I open the door and I
don't even look at anybody. I just look for an
open seat.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
Yeah, nobody's particularly talkative. They try not to look at
you very much, just kind of sit on the edge.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
I finally feel some relief in my hands. It stanks
to heaven. Here, but at least it's better than being
out there in the cold. Yeah, I look out the window.
Quieter in here too, that's nice. Had that wind in
(34:37):
my ear, just the wind, the wind, the wind, so
much wind, never been never. I don't think I've ever
felt that much wind in my life. After twenty four
hours of that, I'm still shivering, but I can feel
myself like, Okay, so I've.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
You had that conversation yourself a lot over the years, moon, Yep.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
Yeah, that's a pretty consistent one, I think, in the
rotation of self conversation. Still alive, still here somehow.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
What do you find floating through your mind? It's just red.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
I close my eyes, it just just just red. There's
no imagery that's popping up. There's no spark, there's no inspiration.
Speaker 6 (35:43):
That's just.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
The blood underneath my eyelids pumping.
Speaker 6 (35:59):
There's a.
Speaker 1 (36:01):
Time where you warm up a little bit and probably
eventually pass out in your chair. Along twenty four hours.
Eventually you nod off and had to sleep. Sounds of
(36:22):
the water and the sounds of wind or your background noise.
You see me a favor and make me a will
power and willpower check Open Check.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
Nineteen nice.
Speaker 1 (36:54):
That's good.
Speaker 6 (36:57):
It's very good.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
This is a hard journey for you moon. Obviously it's
been difficult, but this is probably one of the loneliest
places that you can be right now, and you're able
(37:24):
to keep it together. You're able to keep focused, You're
able to think about Tim Cross as the source for
a lot of your pain and questions and a potential
source for answers.
Speaker 2 (37:49):
I think I have a dream about Tim Cross, but
I can't remember it. I just know he was in it.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
Regardless, get a full night's rest. This probably doesn't fill
you with too much joy or happiness, but what it
does is it will refill your health. Not sure not
(38:25):
your mind points though. As you wake up, the weather
has changed a little bit. There's some light snow falling
on the ship. You can see that some things are
(38:46):
covered in a small layer of snow. It's that kind
of like big wet snow that occurs that's like extra cold.
You know, there's that like dry snow that happens and
it's cold, but it doesn't quite seep into your bones.
You know. This is the snow that like if you're
(39:06):
covered in it, it's like it's extra cold. Yeah. Yeah,
And around you. You know, sunlight has permeated through some
of the clouds and it's a new day. Passenger compartment
here is still has the two passengers that were here.
(39:31):
The other passengers that were killed in the fighting have
seemingly been removed. They're not visible, but you can see
still evidence of the fight. The windows are still broken,
and the sort of somber look on the passengers faces
(39:59):
is definitely there. After you wake up.
Speaker 2 (40:05):
I look over at them. I don't say anything. Then
I turned back around.
Speaker 1 (40:13):
There's that like prey instinct that you can see that
runs kind of on their face. For a moment, they
look at you, and maybe quick a glance away, their
eyes might flick towards you. Every now and again.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
I don't say anything, but I keep looking out the
window and it's nice not to be in the snow.
It's still cold, but at least there's a spot fosite
and wait.
Speaker 1 (40:58):
As the ship draws closer to shore in the distance,
you can see the land mass and mountains that seem
to crawl up into the sky. You're quite a way
is away, still probably a few hours at the very least,
(41:20):
but you can see definitely like land mass on the
horizon it looks like a pretty harsh view. There are
a lot of mountains and sort of various ice floes
(41:42):
bobbing around in the water here and there. It's different
than the view of Cravenstone, that's for sure. But as
the hours melt away, you begin to see what must
be Spaye Lark in the distance. Afternoon comes around. Sorry,
(42:08):
go ahead, I'm.
Speaker 2 (42:10):
Just sitting there hoping that I run into people who
are alive. That's all I can think about right now.
Speaker 1 (42:21):
Yeah. As you get closer to spay Lark, you can
see the mountains growing larger and larger. The different view,
(42:43):
to be sure, but you can see what appears to
be a sort of much less advanced for town. There
are wooden buildings here, wooden piers and wooden ships, but
(43:13):
there are a few that look like they have come
from Cryptia that are here as well. And you can
see that the snow is continuing to fall here. There's
that smell though that I think I will you know
(43:33):
you feel how you feel, obviously, but there's that wood
burning fireplace smell. As you get closer to the town,
and there are people that seem to be moving about
on the land.
Speaker 2 (43:58):
I am We're in the graded with energy, and I
sit up straight and I realize I've just been launched
over almost this whole entire time.
Speaker 6 (44:16):
This is your captain speaking.
Speaker 7 (44:18):
We will be making our way to Sway the Lark
here in just a few minutes. Crow, get ready to disembark.
Prepare crates are offloading passengers. Be prepared to disembark within
the next ten minutes.
Speaker 2 (44:43):
I'm so excited. All I can smell is this wood burning,
and I'm just letting it like steep into my nostrils
because there's been there's been nothing but rot for the
past few days for me. So it's like this. Oh oh,
it's like a perfume almost.
Speaker 1 (45:04):
Speaking of perfumes, you smell pretty right now.
Speaker 2 (45:11):
Listen, listen. Sometimes you gotta cover yourself and chick.
Speaker 12 (45:15):
A blending yep.
Speaker 1 (45:17):
Oh boy, you definitely are blending in right now.
Speaker 2 (45:27):
Yeah, it smells good. It smells good out here, like.
Speaker 1 (45:29):
Oh yeah, and uh yeah. After a few minutes pass,
the ship begins to move in. You can hear the
bells going off on the front of the ship, and
(45:50):
you can see that there are some doc workers here
in spae Lark that begin to set up on the
docks to have the ship brought in.
Speaker 2 (46:01):
I'm squinting, I'm looking at the dock workers. Are they human?
Speaker 1 (46:06):
Yeah, you don't have to make here. So oh, I'm
so excited.
Speaker 12 (46:14):
I'm so excited.
Speaker 2 (46:15):
I'm so excited to be to be back among the fleshies.
Speaker 1 (46:19):
Mm hm. As the ship pulls in, yeah, there's definitely
people that are kind of glancing towards this new ship
that has arrived. And you can see like amongst the people,
they look like pretty hardy, like like athlete level, you know,
(46:39):
like physiques. These aren't like pushovers. I think you can
tell that. Immediately the ship begins to pull in, gang
planks begin to come down, and the crew begins to
set up you. Hear various calls around the deck. All right,
(47:01):
swing the crane over here. A crane, big fucking mechanical
crane like sh rabs onto some like crates and stuff.
While the gang planks are being set up and you
are free to off load here m h.
Speaker 2 (47:22):
And I do so with with with gusto and a
renewed pep in my step, like oh it smells so good,
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (47:32):
The dock the dock workers look at you and like, oh.
Speaker 2 (47:40):
I'm standing out there and it's just like I've got
my hands on my hips, like, wow, what a smell.
It's just like shining, but the opposite of sparkling, just
like those little squiggly waves coming off my body.
Speaker 1 (47:50):
Yeah, you got the peanuts. You got the peanuts stink
lines over your head right now.
Speaker 2 (47:55):
It's pen Yeah, well, time to find a.
Speaker 1 (48:01):
Bath mm hmm. Yeah. The dock workers are like backing
away from you while still trying to do their jobs,
and you hear one of them say every time, I
will never get used to that smell.
Speaker 2 (48:22):
I sheepishly walk past them, not saying anything because I
don't want to mess with these people.
Speaker 1 (48:32):
And you are headed into sphelark what you're doing?
Speaker 2 (48:36):
Oh well, I'm kind of taking it in right now.
It's snowing, right, Okay, so yeah it's cold, but I'm
not really aware of how cold I am. I know
I'm still kind of shivering, but I'm looking for anything
that looks like an in uh. And ideally, I don't
want to offend more people, so I'm gonna just look
for anything that might say bath house or oh maybe
(48:58):
they have hot springs here.
Speaker 1 (49:01):
Uh, go ahead and make an insight and insight open check.
Speaker 2 (49:15):
Why no, let's see, my roles have been such shite.
Speaker 1 (49:24):
Yeah, so I found something that I have to fix apparently,
but I'm not going to reload this while we're doing
the show. Uh yeah, Moon, there's nothing that says bathhouse.
You're looking and looking, people are dodging you, you see,
like there's this aura of stink, and like it's also
directly relative how far away people are walking from you.
Speaker 2 (49:49):
No, no, I really I had. You're desperately explaining myself
to people, like, listen.
Speaker 10 (49:56):
I had.
Speaker 5 (49:56):
I had to do this.
Speaker 11 (49:58):
I had to.
Speaker 2 (49:59):
Don't you underst stand? I had to do this. And
I'm like slowly losing my mind because the people that
were just crazy wanted nothing to do with me, and
now these people want nothing to do with me. So whack.
I'm going to spend an ultimate point for a bath
house to appear. I want, I want Can that happen?
(50:19):
Can we? Okay?
Speaker 10 (50:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (50:22):
Yeah? I want to get clean? Please?
Speaker 1 (50:24):
What the wood?
Speaker 2 (50:25):
Was enough of this humiliation? I'm done?
Speaker 1 (50:30):
Okay? So interesting an interesting choice? Uh? You can? You
can definitely spend some ultimate points? Yes, yes, you want
a bath house to appear?
Speaker 2 (50:45):
I want to get clean.
Speaker 1 (50:49):
Yau. These are two different things, and I need to
know which one you're thinking about.
Speaker 2 (50:54):
Oh lord, okay, this is very like a genie thing.
What if I get this wrong? It's a bath house,
not a bath house and spailure are they like?
Speaker 7 (51:04):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (51:04):
The bathhouse is where we put like the meat or something.
Speaker 1 (51:08):
Your first impulse was to say I want a bath
house to appear, So I'm just asking is that what
Moon is thinking?
Speaker 2 (51:16):
Yes?
Speaker 7 (51:17):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (51:18):
Why do I have such a bad feeling about this?
Speaker 12 (51:19):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (51:20):
Currently have two ultimate points?
Speaker 2 (51:23):
Yes I do. I already spent it.
Speaker 1 (51:25):
Oh how much you spent? You? So you had three?
Speaker 2 (51:28):
I had three? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (51:29):
Yeah, okay, uh, I'm gonna require all of those ultimate
points for.
Speaker 5 (51:39):
The bath house.
Speaker 2 (51:41):
What my god? Okay, you know, you know, you know
they have bath and bodyworks in shopping malls, like as
the only only thing left. Why are you doing? It's
so easy, it's so easy to clean yourself. It was
zero ultimal points, okay, zero ultimate points for to get
a bath.
Speaker 1 (52:02):
Oh my god, Oh no, it's not a bath you
asked for a bath house.
Speaker 2 (52:10):
Life is gonna be so painful for me. Okay, all right, cool,
So all right, bath house okay, and I have no
ultimate points, and I'm walking and it feels feels feels
like fate, really feels like fate.
Speaker 1 (52:25):
Uh, what does it look like when you create a
bath house?
Speaker 9 (52:31):
Man?
Speaker 2 (52:36):
I concentrate really hard because I'm so frustrated. I'm so
frustrated at trying to connect with people, and everybody's like, no, no, no,
we're we're no, we have nothing to do with you.
You stink. I'm like, you know what, I've had enough
of this, and so I really concentrate, like and I
don't even it looks it looks seriously like like I'm
(53:01):
I'm I like, I look crazy. I'm just gonna say,
I look I look like someone who is is just
not all there. And then down the way there's there's
like some piers, there's some docks, and down the way
it's it's mostly like i'd say, the architecture here is
not super stand out. I'm guessing it's very like more
(53:22):
wooden based, like docks next to a sea. This bathhouse
pops up out of nowhere and it looks kind of
like an ivory, like little like a castle, almost like
it's made out of something pure and and almost crystalline
in its appearance and there's a little sign out front
(53:42):
that just says like bubbly or something, and it looks
so inviting that there's there's foam and sparkle dust coming
out of the front door. And also there are fairies
because I just spent three ultimate points, so there, I
just want some fairies running around that bush.
Speaker 1 (54:07):
This begins to manifest in a space that can house
it nearby. Did you find did you in your head?
Did you find a spot to put this?
Speaker 2 (54:26):
I kind of just hoped for it. Okay, you're imagine
it being in a place I just I just hoped
it popped up.
Speaker 1 (54:36):
Okay, you're going to see the mountain begin to recede.
In some areas, there is a rumble. You begin to
see the mountain recedes partially where the last row of
(55:01):
housing is here in regalia, and whatever minerals and whatever
stone is a part of this mountain begins to form
(55:24):
this bathhouse, which from your description looks quite different the
rest of the buildings. Everyone around you is baffled by
this sight. Some people scream, some people stare and point,
(55:46):
but everyone is basically by bewildered by this happening. You see,
I imagine these fairies these creatures merge from the waters
of the bath house shh, and you get a new
(56:11):
notification in your interface.
Speaker 2 (56:22):
I open it.
Speaker 1 (56:30):
Congratulations creator, you have chosen to create on a grand scale.
Speaker 7 (56:45):
What.
Speaker 2 (56:46):
I read it again, and then I look at the bathhouse,
and then I look at the mountain. I close the tab.
(57:09):
I know no one else will see it, but it's
almost like no one no one knew I did this.
It's just happened. Oh, and I look at the bathhouse
again and I start walking towards it.
Speaker 1 (57:28):
Everyone outside is still fucking going crazy. Everyone is still
like pointing, what is this. I don't understand where did
this building come from? Everyone is shocked by everything that
is happening. No one seems to be tying you to this.
(57:48):
Everyone is just surprised. Some people are curious. Maybe they
kind of point and whatnot and look around. Nobody seems
to understand what's going on. You walk inside and you
see the bathhouse that you had in your mind. Here
it's created. There's a new quest for you as well
(58:12):
in your interface. Now our quest log is currently broken
in the game here, but the quest says create or
destroy it is your choice.
Speaker 12 (58:37):
Choice.
Speaker 2 (58:39):
And I look back at the bathhouse. I close the
quest log, almost dismissing it, and then I walk into
this area where it's low lighting, marbled, pristine, almost so
(59:08):
unlike the area outside where it's a little dirty, snowy.
You know, you have that sense of this doesn't belong here.
And I look at the fairies. I don't even know
where the fairies came from or why they're here, but
(59:31):
the fairies are here too.
Speaker 1 (59:33):
What do these fairies look like?
Speaker 2 (59:37):
They're different colors. Some are bright green, others are bright purple.
But they are just a multitude of rainbow fairies that
almost looks like a like Christmas lights everywhere. They're very small,
so you can't exactly pick them up or see them
like pixies or sprites maybe, But.
Speaker 6 (01:00:01):
But the.
Speaker 1 (01:00:06):
Dancing around, playing in the water and such, very comfortable
in air warm.
Speaker 2 (01:00:19):
I look towards the bath area, which is this It's
seemingly almost bigger on the inside than it is on
the outside, too, which is really weird. There's like a
couple marble steps that lead into this steaming pool and
(01:00:41):
it's very clear, rippling slightly, but there's no one in it.
And I go into this pool, fully clothed and just
let myself float.
Speaker 1 (01:00:58):
Oh yeah, you let yourself float in this water, and
the filth washes away from you, floats away from you.
I guess not the best plan, but you're definitely cleaner
(01:01:24):
than you were.
Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
And I just I just float for a good twenty
thirty minutes, and then over the open eyes.
Speaker 1 (01:01:41):
Over that time, you feel that thirst to begin to
build up, get worse and worse.
Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
I slowly start to get out of the pool. Yeah,
I'm just drenched, but it's like, uh, that was nice,
and I stay in here a little bit longer, kind
of ringing out my robes.
Speaker 1 (01:02:22):
You'll see the fairies begin cleaning the baths. After you
get out, one of them kind of like flies over
to you and like squirts you with some perfume.
Speaker 2 (01:02:39):
Thank you. I uh, one comes over and I look
down at my nails, which are absolutely filthy, filthy, and
this little sprite has some kind of like pick and
it's just going crazy at my nails, like getting out
all this dirt and gunk. Like oh thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
Yeah. They kind of like giggle and fly off. It
doesn't take them long to like clean up the baths.
Whatever it is that they do. They seem to be
able to do that very quickly. There's probably loads of
people that are outside, like clambering for any sort of
(01:03:28):
a view of what's going on, and I imagine after
some time there would be some adventurous people that like
make their way inside and trying to figure out what this,
what the hell is going on. So probably by the
time you're done, there's like a few people that open
the door. What is this place?
Speaker 11 (01:03:44):
Where did this come from?
Speaker 2 (01:03:48):
I'm just sitting there wringing my robes.
Speaker 1 (01:03:53):
Where are you stand up? Clean?
Speaker 2 (01:04:05):
Now? Uh? I just I just came over.
Speaker 1 (01:04:10):
From christ some name clean.
Speaker 2 (01:04:17):
Yeah, you can call me clean. I just came over
from the ship from Cryptia. And I sort of look
at them and smile as.
Speaker 1 (01:04:30):
I walk by and get the walk right out of
the place.
Speaker 2 (01:04:34):
I walk right out.
Speaker 1 (01:04:41):
They'd look bewildered. Yeah, I guess give me like this
is like pure confidence. It's just like just like, yeah,
I'm not fucking walking out. I guess give me like
a I guess this is insight and willpower?
Speaker 2 (01:04:59):
Is this just open check?
Speaker 1 (01:05:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:05:05):
Twelve?
Speaker 1 (01:05:06):
Yeah, you walk out with confidence and you just you
leave the clean. I don't know em.
Speaker 6 (01:05:20):
Maybe this is.
Speaker 1 (01:05:24):
A cool name in crypt oh that sounds wrong.
Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
And I am walking a little bit quicker, just like okay, okay.
Speaker 1 (01:05:35):
Creatures and you see like you hear like maybe some
weapons being drawn inside the bathhouse, like as you close
the door, and yeah, you head outside, what's the plan?
Speaker 10 (01:05:53):
Food?
Speaker 7 (01:05:55):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (01:05:56):
Feeling pretty clean.
Speaker 1 (01:05:58):
There's a crowd outside by by the way, everybody's like
pointing like what inside? She came out? I don't know
what happened.
Speaker 2 (01:06:06):
I'm kicking some snow, just feeling really thirsty, really thirsty, yeh,
but but relaxed and so much better. M I'm so thirsty.
Speaker 1 (01:06:20):
Sure enough? Uh, you follow your nose to get some food.
Speaker 2 (01:06:27):
Yes, I can smell the wood fire, but in there
is just a slight mix of of of cooked meat
as well.
Speaker 1 (01:06:38):
Okay, hm hmm.
Speaker 2 (01:06:42):
And I start following this scent almost I feel like
I can see the scent.
Speaker 1 (01:06:50):
Um. I think it willpower and willpower open check.
Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
For me, please, that's a six.
Speaker 1 (01:07:01):
Okay, you're walking towards the scent, and you can you
just feel this feeling that's not super familiar to you,
but you've been experiencing it now for a few weeks.
(01:07:25):
You can feel yourself needing am burstone. You recognize it.
It's a bit like you know, when you I don't
know if this is true with everybody, but I notice
it when you're like you know that you can feel
(01:07:47):
like your body's not right, like you haven't had the
right balance of vitamins or something.
Speaker 10 (01:07:53):
And.
Speaker 1 (01:07:55):
You just you've been feeling more off. You went to
the bath and it was freshing, but it's like.
Speaker 2 (01:08:03):
Yeah, it's a weakness in my bones. Like I I
got I got a nice and clean but I still
don't feel like huh, like there's something there's something something
in there that's antsy and and and restless. Yeah, and
I've got a got a headache. Yeah, there's food, and
(01:08:25):
I'm kind of frustrated too, and maybe just a little
bit bitey if anybody tries to come near me.
Speaker 1 (01:08:30):
There's there's definitely like, uh, this appears to be a
fishing community for sure. There's lots of fishing ships and
nets and things like that. People are have set up
like various like lobster and crab traps that you can
probably see markers for in the water. And as you're
(01:08:54):
heading towards an inn or or a tavern or or something,
you know that that smell of like uh of fish
is very powerful. Seafood is like very powerful, and like
there's probably like an overwhelming smell of cooked seafood coming
(01:09:21):
from one of these places. In you you find yourself
heading inside and.
Speaker 2 (01:09:29):
Push open a door, and then the smell of food
is just like bam in my face, like oh oh,
like spices, cooked things, maybe some fresh things in there,
definitely some vinegar.
Speaker 1 (01:09:45):
Oh close the door, keep the cold out. And you
can see like there are various people probably eyeing you
as you make your way in. You can see that
there's there's probably a couple people from Cryptia that are
(01:10:06):
sitting off to the side in this place. You can
see some like undead here, but everybody here looks like
on the larger side of humans. Like people are pretty
burly and tough looking. A few people are giving you
(01:10:27):
the eye as you walk in, sizing you up.
Speaker 2 (01:10:32):
I do my best to ignore everybody and just sit
down at an empty spot.
Speaker 1 (01:10:43):
Sit down at the at like a bar, or at
a table at.
Speaker 2 (01:10:47):
A table, okay, ideally one in the back.
Speaker 1 (01:10:50):
Sure. Yeah, there's like maybe like a probably a kid,
sort of a gangly paul skinny looking kid. You can
tell they've got like really broad shoulders, so as soon
as they fill out, they're gonna be massive. But they
it looks like their balloon is deflated right now. And yeah,
(01:11:14):
they walk over to you. Yes, what can we get you?
Speaker 2 (01:11:23):
What do you have?
Speaker 11 (01:11:25):
Well, we have fried fish, we have fish stew, we
have lobster stew, we have crab legs.
Speaker 2 (01:11:33):
I'll take the lobster stew, okay, and a pint of
something something.
Speaker 11 (01:11:39):
Dark, sure, dark beer. Okay, we can get you. That
shouldn't be too long.
Speaker 1 (01:11:49):
Do you need any water?
Speaker 2 (01:11:52):
And I realize how I've forgotten about water entirely. Yes,
thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:12:00):
Sure, I'll bring it right back in just a moment. Thanks.
Speaker 2 (01:12:06):
I kind to pick up my hands. I need to
find a disguise. I don't want people looking at me.
It's just every every place, every place, and I start
feeling my wings and my helmet. Maybe a hood, Yeah,
(01:12:34):
well no, my hood is conspicuous. Hooded people are always conspicuous.
Maybe a hat. I'm not a hat person. Glasses worked
for Superman. I'm just kind of like pondering in wordly
and maybe maybe muttering a bit to myself. I probably
(01:12:55):
don't look like I'm got it all together.
Speaker 1 (01:12:59):
M hm. After this kid comes back with your water,
the door bursts open and you see what looks to
be three of the biggest humans you've ever seen. I
(01:13:19):
mean they are probably like about your height, and they
are just covered in muscle and scars and the place
like hushes down around you, and they are laughing as
they come through the door. Yes, it is right, we will.
Speaker 11 (01:13:44):
Succeed this time as well. I cannot wait to take
down another one. Ah, boy, get me and my friends here,
some of your finest crabs. We want, crab legs, we
want do we want the best meat in the house,
(01:14:05):
Bring it to us now. Ah, yes, just a moment, now, boy, no,
he rushes off, completely ignoring you. These three begin to
walk over to one.
Speaker 1 (01:14:19):
Of the tables where there's already like two people sat down.
They hunch over them imposingly, and the two people like,
look up, curious, you're sitting in our seats. Find new ones.
They look at each other for a second, and then
(01:14:41):
they like nervously grab everything and move to another table.
And then these three massive people, which I think is
probably like two men that are wearing like they're wearing
like heavy furs. They look like they could be like
a mammoth furs like they're just like thick, thick furs
(01:15:05):
and probably some like wolf furs on them, and you
can see like, uh, they're just covered in scars. One
of them is missing an eye. Another one is a
woman and probably like the buffest woman you've ever seen
in your life. She looks like she could fucking do
the Captain America ripping the fucking log and half thing.
(01:15:29):
And uh yeah, and they all kind of like sit
down roughly at this table and uh, hurry up with those.
Speaker 11 (01:15:37):
Drigs coming in a second.
Speaker 1 (01:15:42):
Kind of like a laugh. You see. They're just laughing
with each other, sharing a story. It look like they
own this place.
Speaker 2 (01:15:50):
My eyebrows raise. There's probably gonna be some time till
I get my food. And I look over at the kitchen.
Can I see what's happening back there or is it?
Is it not in view?
Speaker 1 (01:16:05):
Yeah, I imagine it's probably not a super big place,
so I imagine the kitchen is easily viewed. It looks like, Yeah,
there's like a little bit of a hustle back there
once they enter. Maybe after a minute or so, someone
(01:16:26):
comes out from the kitchen walks over to their table.
You can see this person. She's probably like quite a
bit shorter than everybody else. She's human, and she has probably,
like I imagine, lots of braids in her hair. She
(01:16:51):
walks over to this group and says, are you here
to cause trouble again?
Speaker 7 (01:16:56):
Ah?
Speaker 11 (01:16:56):
Shut up, We just want to eat and then.
Speaker 6 (01:16:59):
We'll be on our way.
Speaker 1 (01:17:01):
Don't tell me to shut up.
Speaker 11 (01:17:05):
You will be respectful in my place of business, or
you will find another place to eat. Perhaps you will
find another place to live.
Speaker 7 (01:17:18):
And I.
Speaker 2 (01:17:20):
Start thinking, oh no, oh no, we gotta get involved.
Don't get involved, don't get involve. Sit here, Sit here
and wait for your food. Don't get involved, don't get involved.
Speaker 1 (01:17:36):
Why don't you just eat and leave.
Speaker 9 (01:17:39):
We will stay for as long as we want, unless
you are going to try to make us. The last
time someone tried to make us leave, he lost an arm.
Speaker 2 (01:18:00):
My teeth and grinding.
Speaker 13 (01:18:07):
What will you do? Your food will be out soon.
As soon as you're done, I ask that you leave. Please,
we shall see.
Speaker 2 (01:18:25):
Does she go back to the kitchen.
Speaker 1 (01:18:27):
Yeah, she's like cursing under her breath as she leaves.
Stop with adventures. Because they can fight the kiju, they
can fight us. We have their own people. Wat, I
kite you.
Speaker 2 (01:18:45):
I've got a headache. Ah, And I stand up and
it's almost like my legs are carrying me over to
this table. And uh, I see them, these three burly
people talk amongst themselves, and I walk over and I
(01:19:07):
just placed an elbow on the table so that it
kind of like shakes a little bit. Hello, I think
you were asked to leave.
Speaker 1 (01:19:20):
Oh this one has fire. Now what will you do?
You want to make us leave?
Speaker 7 (01:19:29):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:19:30):
Actually I want to sit here and eat my food.
But you came in and took my order. I ordered first.
I think you should leave.
Speaker 1 (01:19:43):
Smiles and you can see like a bunch of teeth
missing and h yeah the uh the woman like shrugs
her shoulders. The other guy uh probably like you can
see like they've all got like a bunch of weapons
on them, like axes and like probably a sword's probably
(01:20:04):
a shield on one of their backs.
Speaker 6 (01:20:08):
Who are you?
Speaker 2 (01:20:12):
I lean in, I'm clean and I grabbed the nearest guy.
As soon as I start laughing, I grabbed the nearest
guy and just yank him out of his seat.
Speaker 1 (01:20:29):
Okay, might and mike this open check come on who sixteen? Yeah,
you pull this giant. I imagine, do you know who
Brian Shaw is? No, okay, he's like he's like one
of like a World's Strongest Man type. You know. It's
like six seven, three hundred and fifty pounds, you know,
(01:20:50):
like just a giant mass of muscle. And you absolutely
like lift that guy out of the chair like, oh,
you know, he's like a bit surprised. You pull him
to his feet, and yeah, you pull him to his feet.
What do you do?
Speaker 2 (01:21:11):
You took my meal? Last chance? All three of you out?
Speaker 1 (01:21:19):
Uh So, I'm will I will allow you to do.
I would say, normally this would be insight and willpower,
but I think because you're trying to like intimidate someone there,
I will say, maybe this is going to be might
and willpower.
Speaker 2 (01:21:36):
Is that an open check?
Speaker 8 (01:21:38):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:21:39):
No, roll a check? And I think this difficulty is
going to be fourteen.
Speaker 2 (01:21:44):
Okay, that's a six failure. Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:21:51):
Uh yeah, you go to grab him and he will. Yeah,
you threaten him, and you hear weapons drawn and smiles
crop up on all their faces. Finally a little fine
(01:22:11):
and we switched scenes or other party in well nearby
the town of Fallisia. Now as you were getting breakfast
(01:22:36):
from Grandma. There was a little bit of an issue
with some woodland creatures that were not necessarily invited into
this space, But I guess close to that, and I
(01:22:58):
think we see that mess being cleaned up at the
moment from both Iris and Bow and Grandma. And I
don't know if Ru was helping as well. But Greg
is not there and neither is Enders. So what does
(01:23:22):
that look like?
Speaker 4 (01:23:27):
Well, I mean, the kitchen is very small, so there's
not a lot of room for all of us to
move around, I would say, so I think Bow and
Iron Grandma were constantly bumping into each other.
Speaker 12 (01:23:38):
Oh excuse me, Oh that's my pseudopod.
Speaker 4 (01:23:42):
Sorry. Now to be clear, did we eat breakfast without
the others?
Speaker 12 (01:23:57):
Up to you, I had some bugs?
Speaker 4 (01:24:03):
Well, I probably would have used Navigator to let them
know that breakfast is served, if I'm to be honest.
So whether or not they wanted to arrive, I probably
would have spoken to both Rue and to Enders and
just let them know that we were having breakfast and
(01:24:23):
if they wanted anyone leaves them out or they can
come by.
Speaker 1 (01:24:28):
Okay, do we think that we want to have a
scene at the ship or do we have ru and
enders and Greg arriving.
Speaker 8 (01:24:40):
I arrive.
Speaker 5 (01:24:44):
Oh there's food.
Speaker 4 (01:24:49):
Yes, Grandma cooked up a variety of dishes.
Speaker 5 (01:24:56):
Emma, I didn't quite make it back to the ship.
Speaker 14 (01:24:59):
But presumably you've messaged them the same way you've messaged me.
So I sit down at the table and I look around. Oh,
everything's so clean.
Speaker 2 (01:25:15):
M hm.
Speaker 1 (01:25:16):
You here, like Grandma like shuffling angrily about.
Speaker 10 (01:25:23):
There's bread, and there's freshly made a little bit left
of peanut butter, and there's some honey.
Speaker 4 (01:25:37):
You, grandmother, are you.
Speaker 1 (01:25:39):
Going to grill some fruit?
Speaker 5 (01:25:43):
I just start piling honey onto the bread.
Speaker 12 (01:25:49):
I think I'll sit this one out. I just kind
of I'm on a bench, I think, and part of
it is partially dissolved, but I stopped. I'm just kind
of like, hmm, feeling a bit guilty about eating birds
and the peanut butter on the floor and stuff, and
just kind of on the chair, just waiting.
Speaker 4 (01:26:12):
Grandmother, you said that there was a spirit caller possibly
in town. Do you recall their name?
Speaker 1 (01:26:20):
Yes, so Vara, so Vara.
Speaker 4 (01:26:24):
Okay, we'll have to inquire about her. M hmm. Well,
if if we're all done with breakfast soon, do we
want to just head out and get going to the
town and check it out.
Speaker 12 (01:26:46):
M sounds good to me.
Speaker 14 (01:26:48):
M hm hmmmm hm oh m.
Speaker 1 (01:27:00):
Going to return here when you're done yet?
Speaker 4 (01:27:05):
Uh, yes, yes, of course. And if anything comes up,
well we'll find a way to let you know.
Speaker 1 (01:27:14):
All right, Yes, that is good.
Speaker 3 (01:27:18):
Are you.
Speaker 1 (01:27:21):
What is your plans?
Speaker 7 (01:27:28):
Well?
Speaker 4 (01:27:28):
I told you about our mission at the moment, yes,
but what is your plan? To gather information? Firstly, in
order to see what our next move is. Really, I'm
not sure exactly what our plan is, but we have
a few things we need to get done. We need
to find out about the minds nearby. We need to
(01:27:50):
find out a little bit more about the about the Maelstrom,
anything that might help us in this endeavor, and also
possibly information about previous heroes as well. There is one
that we are looking to try and locate if you're
(01:28:11):
still alive. So we've got our work cut out for us.
Speaker 15 (01:28:22):
All right, Well I'm ready, Yes, Yeah, I'm good to
go too.
Speaker 16 (01:28:30):
Did you hear back from Enders.
Speaker 4 (01:28:34):
Enders? Are you ready to head into town?
Speaker 6 (01:28:42):
I don't know how this works.
Speaker 4 (01:28:43):
I don't know if you can make it back.
Speaker 6 (01:28:46):
Oh so you don't hear what's going on now side.
Speaker 4 (01:28:48):
No, no, no, it's mental, just like a transport. It's
like a conversation.
Speaker 12 (01:28:53):
Think of like.
Speaker 6 (01:28:54):
Message are you yes, yes, yes, uh sure, yeah, I'll
meet you have way.
Speaker 4 (01:29:05):
All right?
Speaker 2 (01:29:05):
That works?
Speaker 4 (01:29:07):
Lets you soon.
Speaker 6 (01:29:08):
I'm looking at Greg I talking somehow. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:29:13):
I don't well, if you're going into town, could you
procure a few things?
Speaker 2 (01:29:26):
Of course?
Speaker 4 (01:29:27):
What do you need? Grandmother?
Speaker 1 (01:29:29):
She like has this list, she like unfurls this fucking
giant parchment of stuff, you know, like whenever you know,
like there's two kinds of going home, right, Like if
you're a college kid and you go home, you sit
there with like eight bundles of laundry and like, you know,
that's that's the trip back home. Right, It's like and
(01:29:50):
I get my can you do my laundry for me?
You know, like those kinds of situations, and then like
the payment for that is.
Speaker 5 (01:29:57):
N can you please make it work?
Speaker 7 (01:30:01):
Arts.
Speaker 1 (01:30:02):
The payment for it is exactly that this list of
chores that has been like Granny has probably spent the
night working on it. And yeah, there's just a whole
mess of crap on this list.
Speaker 4 (01:30:18):
Oh that is quite a lot of Grandmother.
Speaker 1 (01:30:21):
It's just a little bit of things that need to
get done.
Speaker 4 (01:30:27):
Okay, I'll see about getting it all done. My face drops,
I look so panicked at the amount of paperwork that
is in front of me.
Speaker 1 (01:30:40):
It's all like neatly written, but like really small on
this like long thin.
Speaker 4 (01:30:47):
Because she's trying to fit as much as she fus
this on.
Speaker 1 (01:30:51):
This like long unfurled scroll. You know, it looks like
a shopping list, but like way too long. And yeah,
she's just she hands us over to you and you
can see like some of it's like groceries. Some of
it's like little knickknacks and herbs and like visit the
herbalists and you know all that kind of stuff that
(01:31:12):
you might imagine is on there.
Speaker 4 (01:31:17):
Okay, I'll fold it up and i'll put it into
you know, my inventory, because I can do that. So uh,
Andrew says he'll meet us halfway. We already have everything
you need.
Speaker 16 (01:31:33):
Mm hmm yeah, good to go.
Speaker 4 (01:31:35):
All right, Oh all right, grandmother.
Speaker 12 (01:31:38):
Oh once we leave, Once we leave.
Speaker 4 (01:31:42):
All right, grandmother, we're gonna head out either way. Grandmother,
we had taken a book about sigils and what have
you from mother from long ago. Do you still have
that anywhere.
Speaker 1 (01:31:59):
Oh, find it for you and give that to you
after your return.
Speaker 6 (01:32:04):
Is that all right?
Speaker 4 (01:32:06):
Perfect?
Speaker 1 (01:32:06):
Yes, yes, yes, I'm sure it's around here some way.
Speaker 4 (01:32:11):
Excellent.
Speaker 1 (01:32:13):
All right.
Speaker 12 (01:32:17):
Once we were outside the house, find in town.
Speaker 4 (01:32:20):
Bye bye, Grandma, goodbye.
Speaker 11 (01:32:24):
Hmm.
Speaker 12 (01:32:25):
Okay, you two, I've been I've been practicing something. Oh
all right. Well, you know how it's not been really
easy to try and be other people. Well I decided
to go the other way. Stand back, and you hear
(01:32:50):
like breathing in, but both doesn't breathe in his like
you know, his suito pod kind of his membrane star
just vibrate like a like the membrane of like a
you know, like a speaker or a sub boofer, and
he makes this noise as he does. You kind of
see he he inflates like like a balloon until he's hmmm,
I want to say almost uh, the diameter of like
(01:33:15):
you know that buggy borer in before as we were
like you know, driving cross country, that sphere is what appears.
And then the top half of the of that sphere
kind of just sinks into it, so it's like a
set so it's like a little hemisphere thing. And then
(01:33:37):
the blue starts to kind of harden. It goes from
that shiny, transparent blue to like a bit more of
a hardened kind of thing where it touches the ground.
Is the only part that's still kind of moving. This
still has that kind of like almost slug like kind
of like just moving undulating slime. And if you were
to pear inside this hemisphere thing now you kind of
(01:34:01):
see two small cushion looking bits of salone kind of
appear from inside it, and then Bo's eyes kind of
show up on the front. I call it my Bogatty.
Speaker 4 (01:34:18):
That's amazing, foll you're incredible.
Speaker 12 (01:34:23):
All right, Well I've never tried this before.
Speaker 14 (01:34:26):
Our turn to ride, you you know.
Speaker 2 (01:34:33):
Yes, let's get in.
Speaker 5 (01:34:35):
I climb in.
Speaker 1 (01:34:38):
I wish I could play fucking I wish I could
play Radar Love right now. Fucking shows how old I am.
Everybody's googling it. Yeah, head out on the highway looking
forward Avengere.
Speaker 12 (01:34:59):
Yeah is U Junes.
Speaker 4 (01:35:01):
All of a sudden, our outfits turn into full riding
leathers with with motorcycle helmet.
Speaker 1 (01:35:08):
Yeah, it's really it's a slime version of a car and.
Speaker 12 (01:35:16):
Of Herbie the car basically, but it's like a convertible.
M Okay, this should hold. I think I've never done
it before. I've just kind of, you know, slinked out
in a nine practiced controls. A steering wheel kind of
(01:35:38):
pops up in front of you.
Speaker 16 (01:35:41):
Start playing with it.
Speaker 12 (01:35:45):
Uh, it just kind of moves. It doesn't seem attached
like a breaking mechanism or like a steering waxles, just
kind of moves and twists.
Speaker 1 (01:35:53):
It's like one of those plastic cars the kids. The
wheels don't actually move, they.
Speaker 6 (01:35:59):
Just all right.
Speaker 12 (01:36:03):
So in this form, I basically have a two x
multiplayer on any travel essentially amazing because there's no speed
in this game. It's just all that's but I'm double
as fuss as what you could be normally.
Speaker 1 (01:36:17):
Okay, very cool, let's see here. So is shit? I know, I.
Speaker 4 (01:36:27):
Faknew you're not. I knew you were gonna take it.
Speaker 12 (01:36:31):
I was like, what what can I take? What can
I take?
Speaker 1 (01:36:34):
And I was like, I'm well, that is this considered
your personal vehicle?
Speaker 12 (01:36:41):
Yes, so it's so considered a steed, which is why
I have two people in me on me, in me
on me with me.
Speaker 1 (01:36:50):
Okay, fair enough, I know none of the rules for pilots.
I'm gonna have to look up all of the ship
after we're done today, be like, I don't know what
any of this is. Sounds good.
Speaker 14 (01:37:00):
Today's our most chaotic and powerful day because we can
make up the rules and wha can't look them up?
Speaker 1 (01:37:05):
Boundaries bust Yeah I can, I can. I can destroy
you afterwards. So do you want do you want present?
Do you want present Rude to be fine, present Bow
and Iris to be fine? Or do you want to
to have future versions of them in an unhappy place?
Speaker 12 (01:37:26):
No?
Speaker 5 (01:37:27):
Gig bye, I'll behave.
Speaker 1 (01:37:31):
Okay, very well.
Speaker 12 (01:37:33):
So I have posted the relevant material into the chat though.
Essentially it's a steed and so that's the stuff that
happens with it. It basically travel distance multiply times too
whatever that means.
Speaker 1 (01:37:47):
Okay, not this track again?
Speaker 6 (01:37:51):
Oh my god?
Speaker 1 (01:37:54):
Alrighty, So what does it look like as you start
to drive and meet up with vends Hm.
Speaker 12 (01:38:02):
I think we kind of weave in and out of
the woods a tiny bit. You can't a burger, but
he kind of gets bored after a while, and just
like a silent travel like just wear like across the
grass and like the rocks and stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:38:19):
Just out of curiosity? Are your wheels like picking up
like little bits of debris as you go? Like? Is
it just? Does it look like, you know, how dirty?
Like any of those place slimes get like if they
touch anything, you know, they pick up all of the
dust and all of the film.
Speaker 12 (01:38:36):
I didn't really imagine it with wheels, but now I am, and.
Speaker 1 (01:38:39):
So yes, it's disgusting. Got all sticks and stuff floating
around in their horn.
Speaker 12 (01:38:48):
There he is now the second you punch it.
Speaker 1 (01:38:55):
It doesn't take you long and you can see Gregon
Enders meaning up Enders and Greg, what the fuck is
your reaction to this?
Speaker 5 (01:39:08):
Honk the horn three times with them?
Speaker 6 (01:39:10):
Hey, I feel like we're we're both kind of compensating.
Greg's commensating back to me. I'll commensating with him, Greg
shaking his head half the time. I'm getting stuff wrong
or like cheers in smoothies, and maybe Greg notices it,
and I'll just be like, what the hell is that?
Speaker 12 (01:39:38):
Wait?
Speaker 4 (01:39:38):
Can we drift up next to them?
Speaker 2 (01:39:40):
Drift up next to him?
Speaker 4 (01:39:42):
Don't hurt them though, Okay.
Speaker 16 (01:39:47):
Okay, can I help?
Speaker 1 (01:39:49):
You can definitely help. You can try. It's already been
established that the steering wheel does nothing though.
Speaker 12 (01:39:57):
I'd like to imagine, wait.
Speaker 5 (01:40:02):
Wait and use my hips right mm hmm.
Speaker 4 (01:40:05):
Could we also argue that honking Bo's horn is assisting
to give them a notification This.
Speaker 1 (01:40:12):
Is gonna be I imagine, uh, dex and insight. I think
roll all open Bo is gonna well this is this
is a group.
Speaker 15 (01:40:22):
Role, okay, because we're assisting you so dex an insight.
Speaker 12 (01:40:26):
What's the thing.
Speaker 1 (01:40:29):
The difficulty is probably just gonna be a ten.
Speaker 4 (01:40:32):
Okay, that's so generous, that's really nice.
Speaker 12 (01:40:38):
What insight is my dumbstat so.
Speaker 5 (01:40:41):
Bond of inferiority with Bo? Hilarious?
Speaker 14 (01:40:44):
Oh I don't think it does anything though, yeah, okay.
Speaker 4 (01:40:51):
Oh now it has an apply opportunity button.
Speaker 1 (01:40:53):
Yeah it doesn't work though. I gotta I gotta change
the setting and then restarted though thirteen. Wow. Yeah, they
look cool as ship as they pull up.
Speaker 12 (01:41:05):
Kind of a ton and I'm exactly like a what's
the word, like a perpendicular to them and instead of
like you know, drifting in an arc, it's a straight
line but coming on side on really fast, right into them,
and we stop just before we hit into them.
Speaker 1 (01:41:23):
Yeah, Greg looks like Greg looks like open mouths like
you can actually see both of his eyes like they
almost like bug out of his head.
Speaker 6 (01:41:36):
I think I do the meme like.
Speaker 7 (01:41:40):
That.
Speaker 14 (01:41:40):
Would love if like we pull up like drifting sideways
the word we come up sideways to them?
Speaker 12 (01:41:47):
Mm hm.
Speaker 16 (01:41:47):
I love to like put my arm.
Speaker 5 (01:41:49):
Up on the edge and be like, get in, loser, we're.
Speaker 1 (01:41:52):
Going shopping, Greg. Greg like grabs the you know, the
top part of the frame like jumps in legs.
Speaker 6 (01:42:01):
First, does his arms extend?
Speaker 1 (01:42:06):
He just jumps up like he just pops up and
grabs the frame and jumps in.
Speaker 6 (01:42:14):
Is there a room in there for all of us?
Speaker 12 (01:42:17):
Mm hm. So I basically have wasted pilot by just
putting in nothing but seat modules. So you can also
get another level or something I can.
Speaker 6 (01:42:32):
Okay, okay, what is this car? Is your face on
this car moving around?
Speaker 2 (01:42:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 12 (01:42:42):
You know that the eyes or what looks like eyes
on bone normally they kind of just like they sit
on the front of the of the car, kind of like.
Speaker 1 (01:42:52):
Boating McQueen.
Speaker 12 (01:42:54):
Sure thing, buddy with the references.
Speaker 16 (01:42:57):
I don't get, but like lightning McQueen.
Speaker 12 (01:43:02):
Right, I'm a car, yes, from cars, but like the uh,
the the eyes can and will float from the front
to like the door all the back if necessary, but
generally speaking they're on the front.
Speaker 6 (01:43:15):
Fine, what is this?
Speaker 4 (01:43:21):
It's our bo Gotti. He came up with the idea.
Who's his name?
Speaker 6 (01:43:28):
I have no idea what that is? Okay, does the
door open? I mean, I'm not gonna sling myself in there?
Speaker 4 (01:43:37):
Why not?
Speaker 1 (01:43:38):
Greg is all excited.
Speaker 2 (01:43:42):
Him in.
Speaker 4 (01:43:44):
Get in here? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:43:47):
Greg is bouncing around like a like a dog that's
been invited into the car. He's like looking around and everything.
Speaker 16 (01:43:52):
Head out the window.
Speaker 6 (01:43:55):
God, so I have both smoothies in my hand. I
guess since he used both hands, I'll just handed to someone.
Speaker 1 (01:44:03):
It got watched, fine.
Speaker 6 (01:44:05):
Just like, yeah, all right, I get in.
Speaker 12 (01:44:13):
All right? How does the door open? I'm asking the
person who's opening the door?
Speaker 6 (01:44:17):
How do you imagine anything? I got pulled in so
I don't know how that even happened.
Speaker 4 (01:44:22):
What if we slink through your membrane, like it's like a.
Speaker 5 (01:44:26):
Pull inward and there's no door?
Speaker 1 (01:44:31):
What do you think about that?
Speaker 4 (01:44:34):
Your creation?
Speaker 12 (01:44:36):
No, I'm basically a car. I mean like it's it's
just a car. But like you know, like the doors
they look like doors, but you can you know, like
it's it has the give of a slime, and you
can go through it if you really did try, unless
I don't want that to happen. But like you, I
was thinking like scissor doors or like you know, going
(01:44:57):
or just like.
Speaker 1 (01:44:58):
You know, they really go up.
Speaker 6 (01:44:59):
Yeah, yeah, that's great, all right, the doors automatically go.
We'll just get in.
Speaker 16 (01:45:03):
I was imagining climbing through your mouth.
Speaker 1 (01:45:07):
Of course you were why.
Speaker 12 (01:45:11):
Maybe you did that.
Speaker 17 (01:45:18):
I feel like I'm pretty consistent, Okay, gal, you see that.
Speaker 6 (01:45:30):
I'm definitely getting now.
Speaker 1 (01:45:37):
Yeah, you climb in yea while getting.
Speaker 6 (01:45:40):
In, I'll be like, I need explanations and I'll get in.
Speaker 12 (01:45:46):
Me where to.
Speaker 15 (01:45:50):
Well, the village should be that way.
Speaker 16 (01:45:54):
That was in the direction turned the car around.
Speaker 14 (01:46:04):
I can barely see over the steering wheel.
Speaker 1 (01:46:08):
Yeah, you start heading towards, uh, towards Felisia, which Aristolis.
You know pretty much exactly where it is. It's not
hard to remember. It's not gonna take you that long.
It's probably only like a couple maybe like two to
(01:46:28):
four miles away like that. The terrain is kind of
what you'd expect in a forest near the mountains. It's
probably like there's probably a fair amount of rocks and things,
and there's like some foothills and stuff that you go over,
So I imagine there's a few of those like A
team type shots where we see like the worm's eye view,
(01:46:51):
the fucking like Bogatti flying over the camera because you're
launched into the air over the narrow Yeah. Yeah, and
you yeah, you pull up to this town and as
you approach, you can see that it looks like does
(01:47:20):
there are sort of golden domes. There's a lot of
arches and yeah, it's kind of like built into some
of the surrounding mountains. So there's tears to this town
as you get closer. And there's definitely like some people
that are like looking at this scene happening as you're approaching,
(01:47:44):
They're like, what is that? You don't understand? It's some
sort of is that a creature? I don't know, do
you see? I don't know, something floating inside of it.
Speaker 4 (01:48:03):
I don't know if we can drive in town, so
I think perhaps we should probably walk from here.
Speaker 6 (01:48:10):
I had my fill of being in Bow, and I
get out.
Speaker 12 (01:48:17):
Why I'm driving and roll.
Speaker 1 (01:48:20):
Yeah, you accidentally, you know, hit F on your keyboard
when you're fucking oh shit.
Speaker 12 (01:48:27):
He's left an animation. Now he's doomed.
Speaker 1 (01:48:29):
Yep, start rolling? Yeah, So do you slow down or
are you trying to make another impressive entry into the town.
What's the plan here?
Speaker 12 (01:48:38):
Iris said we're slowing down, so I think I will
have started slowing down. I'm basically just like if you
say we're doing something, Iris or whoever's driving, that's what's happening.
Speaker 4 (01:48:48):
Yes, probably should slow down so that we can get
into town and not cause too much trouble.
Speaker 12 (01:48:54):
What's a car park?
Speaker 1 (01:48:57):
There's definitely no car park that you can see, all right.
Speaker 4 (01:49:02):
You don't really use cars? And Ellen, draft.
Speaker 6 (01:49:07):
Can you just shift back into your little gelatinous home?
Speaker 12 (01:49:13):
I start to shake. Is everybody still inside?
Speaker 6 (01:49:16):
No, I've got.
Speaker 16 (01:49:19):
Absolutely not.
Speaker 12 (01:49:21):
Can I hear it's up and I just jump out
like a balloon if I did, and then it snaps
together and I'm just small slam again.
Speaker 6 (01:49:32):
M hm.
Speaker 4 (01:49:33):
Very impressive.
Speaker 12 (01:49:35):
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:49:38):
So looking towards the entrance of Alasia, does it look
as though there are any sort of guards at.
Speaker 1 (01:49:44):
The gate, So there would probably be like a guard,
and I don't imagine there's particularly like a gate. I
think it's probably like a bridge across a river. You
would that you'd see and you can just see there's
a guard on the other side. They look like they're
(01:50:07):
they have probably like a bow and maybe a I
imagine maybe like a it's a painting if it was
like a sword, or if they have like a spear,
probably I imagine probably like a sword at their hip.
(01:50:31):
They're definitely like eyeballing you.
Speaker 4 (01:50:34):
Yes, I mean if no one else is going to
do anything, or if they don't have any other plans,
I would probably begin to walk up to the guards
to speak with them.
Speaker 12 (01:50:46):
This is your zone.
Speaker 1 (01:50:48):
Hello, please make an insight and insight open check rustlyth.
Speaker 4 (01:50:56):
Thirteen.
Speaker 1 (01:50:58):
You recognize this guard? What is their name?
Speaker 4 (01:51:03):
Oh ah, you know, well what is his name? Something?
Speaker 16 (01:51:11):
Elvin does ere.
Speaker 1 (01:51:19):
A less e're a laugh Yeah, they say, ah, welcome
back to.
Speaker 4 (01:51:29):
Rislth h uh huh, hi hero Less. It's it's been
some time since I've been here.
Speaker 1 (01:51:44):
Hey, yes, last I recall at least ten years, maybe more.
Speaker 4 (01:51:55):
Oh right, Well, my companions and I we were looking
to find the spirit collar Silvara. Do you know if
they're in.
Speaker 1 (01:52:07):
Town Sylvara, not presently. I think they were going to
be back in a few hours.
Speaker 4 (01:52:22):
Oh wonderful. All right, Well, we have quite a few
things to do in town. Grandmother has given me quite
a few things to pick up and do, and I
mean a lot. She's doing all right. Do you know
any of the village children that have been going to
(01:52:42):
help her?
Speaker 1 (01:52:44):
Yes, what of it? Is there a problem?
Speaker 4 (01:52:49):
Well, no, no, no, they've been very kind. I just
I wanted to compensate them for their kindness.
Speaker 1 (01:52:59):
Oh well, if you're looking for them, I imagine that
they are. Well, it's still rather early. I imagine they're
probably at their homes. I don't think I know where
all of them live.
Speaker 4 (01:53:21):
Oh, we can ask around, that'll work. Or I can
just give grandmother the grandmother the goal to give to
them more the zenate.
Speaker 1 (01:53:29):
I mean, oh, yes, well, I'm sure they would be
happy for any zenate that you give them. Can you sure?
Sarah Lyth is doing well?
Speaker 4 (01:53:47):
Yes, yes, a little slower than I remember in terms
of her movement and whatnot. Things are a little harder,
but she's still managing. She's very capable.
Speaker 1 (01:54:00):
That is good. We've suggested that she move into town
now for some time, but you know, she is very
stuck in her ways.
Speaker 4 (01:54:12):
M Yeah, she's a very private person and stubborn. But
at any rate, these are my friends.
Speaker 1 (01:54:21):
Are you feeling all right? Oh? Why do you ask
something about you? Ah? Is it a spell?
Speaker 4 (01:54:39):
Not that I know of, there is.
Speaker 1 (01:54:45):
A It's not just you. But I'm sorry. Who are
your friends?
Speaker 4 (01:54:54):
And I'll gesture towards them to introduce themselves.
Speaker 12 (01:54:57):
A I see, I introduce myself.
Speaker 5 (01:55:07):
It's probably because we're heroes.
Speaker 6 (01:55:14):
Heroes mm hmmm.
Speaker 12 (01:55:18):
I thought they call us rustless, no hero.
Speaker 4 (01:55:24):
Well that kind of hurts.
Speaker 1 (01:55:26):
She is now, you know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (01:55:30):
I know.
Speaker 1 (01:55:34):
You didn't come from some other world.
Speaker 9 (01:55:41):
Hmmm.
Speaker 1 (01:55:42):
I've known you most of my life.
Speaker 4 (01:55:46):
Well I suppose it's complicated, right, but I've found myself
in this position, and so have they. Unfortunately or fortunately,
I don't know.
Speaker 12 (01:55:59):
I guess you could say she became a hero exactly,
not heroes on the road to becoming them.
Speaker 3 (01:56:06):
M hmm.
Speaker 1 (01:56:11):
Herelith looks, I like really like a like a change
has sort of come over your face. Like I think
A little wary is what you pick up now, A
little skeptical of the group, right.
Speaker 4 (01:56:40):
I mean, well, I'm still the same person.
Speaker 1 (01:56:48):
If that is all, I guess I will speak to
you later. When you're not so busy.
Speaker 4 (01:56:55):
Mm hm oh, yes, you you wish to talk? All right, Well,
we'll run around town and get whatever we need done.
Speaker 6 (01:57:06):
How about this, whatever you need to get done, we
can take care of it. You can meet up with
us after you have your tool.
Speaker 4 (01:57:13):
Hmm yeah, are you certain? I pull out the scroll
and sonk it into the ground.
Speaker 6 (01:57:21):
Oh this is nothing. It runs up My mother used
to it. You run and get three times as long,
and I'll take the scroll and then I'll patter on
the head, not as a dog or anything, but more
like a helf simp.
Speaker 16 (01:57:35):
I noticed me.
Speaker 6 (01:57:37):
The can help you need.
Speaker 14 (01:57:42):
We do need answers, and I mean you know the
people here, so you're our best bet in talking to anybody.
Speaker 12 (01:57:52):
Okay, who was that guy just now?
Speaker 1 (01:57:56):
Go eir lit mh.
Speaker 4 (01:58:00):
One of the guardians of the gates here?
Speaker 12 (01:58:03):
How do you know him?
Speaker 4 (01:58:05):
Why do you ask me like that?
Speaker 12 (01:58:07):
I don't know. He seemed to like you.
Speaker 6 (01:58:09):
Come on, bow and I'll grab the top of his
slime and.
Speaker 12 (01:58:13):
Drivest thing around like a thing.
Speaker 1 (01:58:17):
Bold bag.
Speaker 6 (01:58:18):
You need anything?
Speaker 16 (01:58:19):
Haris you know how to buzz me?
Speaker 2 (01:58:24):
Right?
Speaker 6 (01:58:25):
All right, I'll look at ale is there name, I'll
look at them and the square in the eyes and
look back at Iris, take a breath and walk away.
Speaker 4 (01:58:40):
Who herolt.
Speaker 7 (01:58:48):
You?
Speaker 4 (01:58:49):
What did you want to speak about?
Speaker 1 (01:58:54):
I wanted to speak about this hero.
Speaker 9 (01:58:59):
Pau They.
Speaker 1 (01:59:04):
You all seem different.
Speaker 4 (01:59:10):
Well, it is quite complicated, and I'll move in a
little closer, and I'm kind of trying to watch to
make sure nobody's really talking, like listening to the conversation.
There is something that happened ten years ago. All I
(01:59:38):
know is that in the time that I had spoken
and had been with you all here in Felasia, after
I went off to the war, I woke up encased
in Emberstone and I've been different.
Speaker 1 (02:00:00):
Since Emberstone, like from the mines.
Speaker 4 (02:00:07):
Indeed, that's part of why we're here. We wish to
talk to the spirit caller or anyone who knows about it,
if they know anything about the minds. That's the last
place I remember.
Speaker 1 (02:00:25):
I don't understand you were encased in Emberstone ten years ago,
that's where you've been.
Speaker 4 (02:00:32):
Indeed, did this?
Speaker 1 (02:00:36):
Why what happened?
Speaker 4 (02:00:39):
Oh well, it's a little bit of a complicated story.
I don't know the particulars exactly, but all I know
is that my companions and I we all were encased
in Emberstone, and we all obviously had very different lives.
(02:01:01):
But now we're here and there's a obviously a lot
going on with the Maelstrom.
Speaker 1 (02:01:14):
And what do you have something to do with us?
Speaker 16 (02:01:18):
Oh no, we didn't.
Speaker 4 (02:01:19):
We didn't make the mailstream or anything. I'm saying that
we have been, for whatever reason, given this this blessing
to try to reach our potentials as heroes. I mean,
that's what everyone keeps calling us. They say that we
(02:01:41):
have an aura similar to the heroes of previous years,
like the Savior Moon. We have this opportunity to live
up to that reputation and to try to hone our
abilities because it's the dangers that are coming. They they
(02:02:05):
will require heroes of immense strength.
Speaker 1 (02:02:13):
Ristless you you've been gone for ten years and you
tell me and now you are some hero.
Speaker 7 (02:02:29):
I know.
Speaker 1 (02:02:29):
I thought you were dead and you show up here
and now you say you were in Emberstone and that
everything's complicated. I don't understand.
Speaker 4 (02:02:48):
I know it is difficult too. I don't even understand
everything myself, if I'm to be honest with you. But
we're trying to learn. That's that's why we're here. I
wanted to see Grandmother, and I wanted to see you all,
and I wanted to find out maybe if there was
anything that could point us in the right direction. I
(02:03:11):
swear to you that I I don't know how to
make sense of everything. We have this opportunity, and the
reason that we came here is not only to see Graham.
(02:03:32):
It's not only to see you all. Is not only
to find out more information, but it's also to grow
our power. From what Grandmother told me, word of the
Savior has not reached here.
Speaker 1 (02:03:48):
But what do you mean.
Speaker 4 (02:03:53):
There was an attack in mill Offax.
Speaker 1 (02:03:58):
Mill of Facts. Indeed, you were in mill Offax.
Speaker 16 (02:04:03):
I know, yeah, I know.
Speaker 4 (02:04:10):
The people there. They are they are suffering from a
lack of use of emberstone.
Speaker 7 (02:04:18):
Chur.
Speaker 1 (02:04:18):
I know anyone that relies on it is full.
Speaker 3 (02:04:23):
Right.
Speaker 4 (02:04:23):
So they are working on trying to find alternate forms
of power generation for them, for their technologies and whatnot
that are not as harmful I suppose. But there was
an attack in mill Offax, one that was unprovoked. At
(02:04:49):
the end of the day, something bad happened to the
Savior and she is not herself, So we need to
get strong so we can help her to come back
to herself.
Speaker 1 (02:05:07):
So the Savior was attacked.
Speaker 4 (02:05:11):
I looked down and I just shake my head. Something
happened to her that created some sort of an influence
over her, some sort of magic. She's not herself.
Speaker 1 (02:05:36):
Does that mean.
Speaker 4 (02:05:40):
She's the one who attacked.
Speaker 6 (02:05:45):
Attacked you?
Speaker 1 (02:05:51):
Yes, and you're still alive.
Speaker 4 (02:05:57):
I know.
Speaker 7 (02:06:01):
But we.
Speaker 4 (02:06:05):
We discovered a few things that uh, well, do you
remember the story about the well, the childhood stories that
we all had Graham gather us up and read to
us all those books.
Speaker 6 (02:06:29):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (02:06:32):
Do you remember the one about the Netheris Champion, Yes?
And how they were able to raise their companions. Yes,
(02:06:55):
I did that.
Speaker 1 (02:07:03):
You have the same power, yes.
Speaker 4 (02:07:12):
Not nearly as strong. That's why we're trying to get stronger.
All of us and all of them have magnificent abilities.
Speaker 1 (02:07:27):
You you brought someone back from the brink of death.
Speaker 4 (02:07:34):
And I'll kind of remove my hand from my sleeve
and I'll show a hand with the marks from the
the magic circuit issues. It costs quite a lot, but
we were able to study at the Meleficarum. They taught
(02:07:59):
us much and I learned quite a bit about controlling
the amount of mona that flows in our bodies.
Speaker 1 (02:08:06):
Earlith gets close to you and like looks at your arm.
Speaker 6 (02:08:13):
There is Lith.
Speaker 1 (02:08:15):
What are you saying to me? You went to Millifax,
you fought the Savior, You've raised the dead.
Speaker 6 (02:08:25):
Mh.
Speaker 4 (02:08:28):
I'm sorry. I just haven't really had many people to
talk to you about. This was a very horrible situation
for me. I saw my friends lying on the ground
dead and my friend did it.
Speaker 15 (02:08:46):
And now I have this power and it's a lot,
and there's a lot of pressure and I'm sorry, I
know this is a lot.
Speaker 18 (02:08:57):
This is.
Speaker 2 (02:09:00):
This is probably too much.
Speaker 5 (02:09:02):
Sorry.
Speaker 1 (02:09:06):
It was like a moment here and then like they
sort of take you in and give you a huge restle.
Speaker 6 (02:09:26):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (02:09:34):
Well they're they're okay.
Speaker 1 (02:09:36):
Are you okay?
Speaker 4 (02:09:43):
I will be when let me fix things, But for
now I have to be strong. I can't make a
mistake again.
Speaker 1 (02:10:00):
M h. We all make mistakes.
Speaker 4 (02:10:07):
H Well, I've made it quite a few since waking up,
so my uh, my allotment of them is not necessarily
(02:10:28):
I have a lot of them left. But anyway, and
I'll wipe my eyes and back away. It is so
good to see you. It has been so long.
Speaker 5 (02:10:45):
How how are you?
Speaker 1 (02:10:48):
And well? I my family as well. My sister is
h she's left for Temperess.
Speaker 4 (02:11:06):
Oh, she is.
Speaker 1 (02:11:11):
Studying. She's studying with.
Speaker 7 (02:11:19):
Some of the.
Speaker 1 (02:11:22):
Tree menders that are there.
Speaker 4 (02:11:27):
It's wonderful.
Speaker 1 (02:11:30):
She wants to keep the forest healthy here at the border.
Speaker 4 (02:11:36):
Has it been affected by the Emberstone, Yes, the.
Speaker 1 (02:11:43):
War, it's well, it's ruined much of the environment in
the mountains, and many of the trees have died.
Speaker 2 (02:12:02):
Mm hm.
Speaker 4 (02:12:04):
That's horrible. But your sister is very capable.
Speaker 1 (02:12:15):
Yes, my parents are well as if you, if you
need anything, don't hesitate to seek me out.
Speaker 7 (02:12:38):
Mhm.
Speaker 4 (02:12:41):
Likewise, I'm a big, strong hero.
Speaker 5 (02:12:44):
Now m hm.
Speaker 1 (02:12:48):
Well, you always be a ri slith to me. Thank you.
Speaker 4 (02:13:06):
At any rate. Have you been having any other sorts
of troubles, any of the kind that might be a
little bit out of your wheelhouse in terms of protecting
the village, anything to investigate.
Speaker 1 (02:13:27):
Well, just the normal things. I suppose. Now that the
war has ended, some of our some of our people
have returned, we have more help, but I think for
(02:13:48):
now nothing pressing.
Speaker 4 (02:13:54):
Great. That is good to hear. All right, Well, I
am I shouldn't keep you from your duties any longer.
I'm sure my companions are ripping their hair out trying
to figure out where to get things because you know,
we don't have very many loud, elaborate signs here like
(02:14:15):
a mill Offax.
Speaker 1 (02:14:20):
I imagine it is different, very.
Speaker 4 (02:14:27):
But I mean, for all the differences between the two regions,
they're just people.
Speaker 3 (02:14:37):
Like us.
Speaker 4 (02:14:41):
It was good to see it. Dragon Empress is horrifying
though she's a very scary woman.
Speaker 6 (02:14:48):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (02:14:52):
You tell me that you fought the Savior, you know
the Savior, and and that you've met Dragon Empress, that
you have gone to some sort of what magical school?
Mill Offax.
Speaker 4 (02:15:10):
Uh huh.
Speaker 1 (02:15:13):
The next thing you're going to tell me you written
on a dragon.
Speaker 4 (02:15:20):
I don't let the awkward smile fade. Uh. Yep, we
saved some of the dragon writers.
Speaker 1 (02:15:34):
Actually, I'm on duty right now to guard. But you're
going to have to tell me all about it.
Speaker 16 (02:15:42):
I will, I will.
Speaker 4 (02:15:45):
Well for now, I will stop eating up your time,
but I would love to see you again. Well, I'll
have to chat more.
Speaker 1 (02:15:57):
Those people m are your friends.
Speaker 4 (02:16:02):
Yes, they've kept me alive as I have kept them,
and they are very special to me.
Speaker 6 (02:16:15):
And the Savior.
Speaker 1 (02:16:21):
What about I don't know what we what about her.
Speaker 4 (02:16:26):
She is our friend too, but we don't support obviously
what's happening right now and what she's done, but we
are trying to help her to get better. We'll find
some way to reverse what's happened.
Speaker 1 (02:16:46):
This is a lot. What if it's you, I'm I'm
sure you'll succeed.
Speaker 4 (02:16:59):
Well, I am going to go find my friends and
the kids to give them money.
Speaker 1 (02:17:11):
All right, are you leaving again?
Speaker 4 (02:17:22):
Probably not for a couple of days, I would imagine,
but we will have to set out again. We're on
a journey to Nocissusissa. The stages might know some more
information for us, as anyone that does.
Speaker 1 (02:17:45):
It's always talked about how well they know all of
the world's secrets.
Speaker 4 (02:17:51):
Mhm, say before I leave. In the time that I
was gone, did you ever meet anyone named Azuka or Drivac?
Speaker 10 (02:18:15):
Your role?
Speaker 1 (02:18:16):
Let's find out. I think it's appropriate for you to
make this role. Let's see. Roll me, give us track
roll me a roll me just a D ten A.
Speaker 7 (02:18:45):
Three.
Speaker 1 (02:18:46):
I'm not familiar with him.
Speaker 7 (02:18:47):
No, damn it.
Speaker 4 (02:18:51):
Ah here you well, well, we'll have to see if
we can find them. If you do hear any sort
of word, Well, actually, how about this. What I'll do is,
(02:19:12):
do you know if you have any communications scrolls in
town or anything.
Speaker 1 (02:19:16):
I think there are a few.
Speaker 4 (02:19:19):
I'll get one and i'll give you the other half
so that we can communicate if you hear anything about
the Savior, anything about Dara Vac, anything about Azuka. Azuka
in particular is one. We're trying to see whether or
not they're still alive. Dara Vac.
Speaker 1 (02:19:37):
We will happily do this for you, but ristly we
are well, it's not a usual occurrence that we get
many guests. Of course news from the outside course, but
you never know. Not that I'm saying I don't want
(02:20:02):
the communication scroll.
Speaker 4 (02:20:09):
Well, I'll give you one regardless, and you can just
tell me how you're doing.
Speaker 1 (02:20:16):
Wonderful.
Speaker 4 (02:20:20):
I'll pat him on the shoulder and I'll walk off.
Speaker 2 (02:20:24):
You look good for ten years away.
Speaker 1 (02:20:28):
So do you.
Speaker 4 (02:20:34):
Scurrying off.
Speaker 6 (02:20:37):
All right?
Speaker 1 (02:20:38):
The rest of you?
Speaker 12 (02:20:40):
I bet she's someone special to him, you know, like
a trainer.
Speaker 6 (02:20:44):
Maybe, Oh my goodness, give it a break. And everyone
we run into you just want to know everything about them.
Of course, what about you?
Speaker 18 (02:20:53):
What about me?
Speaker 6 (02:20:54):
I think I'm also diving your slime in everybody's crevices.
What about showing.
Speaker 12 (02:21:01):
I don't have any crevices show off unless you make them.
Speaker 14 (02:21:13):
Exactly, Greg, I'm looking at the parchment that I've taken
from enders, and I'm trying to make sense of what
to do next, anything to do.
Speaker 16 (02:21:25):
We should get something done.
Speaker 1 (02:21:26):
Feel free to make up some stuff on this list.
Speaker 12 (02:21:28):
By the way, if.
Speaker 6 (02:21:30):
There's alchemy items on it, I'll know exactly what those are.
Just around, everything looks the same architectural wise.
Speaker 1 (02:21:38):
Yeah, she might have like some salves or something on that,
but I don't imagine there's anything super complicated there. She
did mention like she was handyman stuff and like you
know what I mean, like I need various supplies and
things like that.
Speaker 6 (02:21:54):
Why is our names next to half of these things?
M she doesn't expect us to.
Speaker 1 (02:22:06):
Well, I think she expects us to to do all
of this, huh.
Speaker 16 (02:22:14):
I mean we are staying at her house, so I
suppose the good guest thing to do.
Speaker 6 (02:22:23):
Wait wait, wait, wait, since when are you so down
and about doing chores for someone else? You must have
done something. Yeah, no, the tail is doing that thing again?
Speaker 10 (02:22:42):
Right?
Speaker 5 (02:22:43):
What's nut grease? It says we need to retrieve some
nut grease on here.
Speaker 12 (02:22:48):
Nut grease, Yeah, like almond milk.
Speaker 6 (02:22:53):
See how she changes the subject, rag about that? All right,
Well that's great.
Speaker 1 (02:23:00):
Saying yeah Greg. Yeah, Greg is saying, yeah, she brought
in those birds, those whatever they were, And yeah, he's
totally throwing you under the bus. Yeah, he's throwing you
under the bus, serbs.
Speaker 14 (02:23:16):
This is why when I leveled up, I didn't put
an extra point into my companion.
Speaker 1 (02:23:21):
The best part about it is you still don't understand Greg.
So Bo was the only one that's understanding.
Speaker 6 (02:23:26):
Is great, you know, Yeah, I'm just I'm just nodding
in agreeing.
Speaker 16 (02:23:30):
I don't need to understand him. We have a we
have a special connection.
Speaker 6 (02:23:36):
Okay, I'll drag them into the store's.
Speaker 12 (02:23:43):
Still carrying me like a bullying mole back.
Speaker 6 (02:23:45):
It's like they have woodworkings here.
Speaker 1 (02:23:48):
Yep, you go in, there's like a pleasant like wind
chime sound, ye walk in. Yeah, it smells it's smells
like cedar in here, I imagine, and there's probably like yeah,
there's various like little bits and bobs like imagine there's
(02:24:10):
little like little whittling projects that are around, and there's
you know, there's like I imagine like uh, various wooden
odds and ends like uh, you know, like signs that
would hang from a door and stuff like that. There's
(02:24:31):
probably even some just repair materials around as well. They
probably sell like some some uh you know some I
imagine they probably don't like mill a lot of the wood,
so it's probably like, yeah, there's probably you know how
(02:24:51):
like they they will upcycle wood or recycle some wood
like that's dead or that's fallen, you know in in
the forest. There's a lot of that. Oh it's just
been like cleaned up. M m.
Speaker 6 (02:25:04):
All right.
Speaker 16 (02:25:05):
Who's working here?
Speaker 1 (02:25:07):
Yeah, there's probably like one or two people in the store,
and then there's probably like someone that looks like I
imagine they're probably carving something.
Speaker 3 (02:25:17):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (02:25:18):
I imagine it might be some kind of like maybe
like some kind of some kind of like, uh, what
is the terminology. My mom used to be into your
designer and I'm trying to remember what it is, uh,
like a window setting stuff, you know, some some like
(02:25:43):
piece that would sit like in a window.
Speaker 12 (02:25:46):
Forget what the hell that's called window piece.
Speaker 16 (02:25:54):
I'll sort of wander up and.
Speaker 14 (02:25:57):
Lean against something and just kind of stress. Yeah, just
trying to draw attention. My tail just sort of flicking out.
Speaker 1 (02:26:07):
Can I help you?
Speaker 16 (02:26:09):
Oh hi, we are guests of Iris.
Speaker 5 (02:26:17):
Let's grandma, and.
Speaker 4 (02:26:21):
Oh could you please help me?
Speaker 16 (02:26:24):
I have a.
Speaker 5 (02:26:26):
Long list of things.
Speaker 16 (02:26:28):
That we might need to acquire, and I was hoping
you could.
Speaker 5 (02:26:31):
Point us in the direction do you have banana spoons?
Speaker 6 (02:26:41):
Our nudgeball and be like, see crevices.
Speaker 11 (02:26:46):
The thing that you came up with?
Speaker 6 (02:26:49):
Banana spoons.
Speaker 4 (02:26:51):
I don't know, dude, I'm making this stuff off on
that these guys don't know what vegetarian.
Speaker 2 (02:26:57):
See.
Speaker 1 (02:26:58):
You know what I'm saying, This is so accurate.
Speaker 6 (02:27:01):
A banana spoon, okay.
Speaker 1 (02:27:06):
For everything.
Speaker 5 (02:27:07):
I have an ice cream spoon, I have a rice spoon.
Speaker 16 (02:27:10):
I have a soup spoon.
Speaker 1 (02:27:11):
Holy ship spoon.
Speaker 6 (02:27:14):
Oh boy, it's those little round spoon that make a
little ball of the melon baller. Yeah see banana sweet god.
Speaker 1 (02:27:23):
Yeah, let's find out. Uh yeah, go ahead and make
an insane wolpower check please open check? Really to said Doustin, yeow,
like what the fuck are you talking about? Critical fumble?
Speaker 16 (02:27:42):
Bumbled? I really fumbled?
Speaker 1 (02:27:45):
Oh my god.
Speaker 5 (02:27:47):
Just as I rolled, all my windows went crazy so
I couldn't see what I rolled.
Speaker 1 (02:27:51):
Oh my god, what what what.
Speaker 12 (02:27:54):
Did you just say? Banana spoon in this establishment?
Speaker 4 (02:27:58):
Wait? What?
Speaker 16 (02:27:59):
Wait?
Speaker 5 (02:28:00):
Wha wait wait wait wait wait wait Do I still.
Speaker 16 (02:28:04):
Get an opportunity because they are double ones?
Speaker 1 (02:28:10):
No, you have to succeed, you get an opportunity.
Speaker 6 (02:28:14):
Did you get a fabulous point?
Speaker 1 (02:28:16):
Yep, you do get a fabul two. Okay, unless you
want to reroll it, if you got something that might
help you.
Speaker 14 (02:28:28):
I as I'm like, I'm like showing this list and
I'm leaning too hard against some display and it just
crumples and I fall inelegantly and I do the thing
where I land on my face.
Speaker 16 (02:28:40):
My asses up on my feet are just like, are
you here?
Speaker 1 (02:28:47):
I've never heard of a banana spool?
Speaker 7 (02:28:51):
Back?
Speaker 6 (02:28:52):
Let me let me say this list, and you get
banana at a.
Speaker 1 (02:29:04):
Some elvish right, bricola, oh a brocoa spoon and of
course you have those right over there.
Speaker 6 (02:29:16):
And I just look at I just stare at at
rue on the floor. Get up, come on, and I
extend my head.
Speaker 1 (02:29:26):
Racoas Berecoa's good wood. That'll make a fine spoon.
Speaker 6 (02:29:31):
Mhm, they are right here. See he's a he's a.
Speaker 14 (02:29:35):
R Yep, they're definitely less interesting than I thought it
was going to like.
Speaker 1 (02:29:41):
A Really they're like it's it's like a really uh
light colored wood. It's almost white. It's it's you can
see like it's treated with an oil.
Speaker 6 (02:29:55):
Mhm. Fancy, smooth, durable bricoa.
Speaker 12 (02:30:00):
Get your today.
Speaker 1 (02:30:02):
They make very good spoons. Do you want the whole set?
Speaker 6 (02:30:07):
And I turned back to those paying for all of this?
Speaker 1 (02:30:10):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 12 (02:30:11):
How do you get given money for it?
Speaker 6 (02:30:13):
Wait?
Speaker 1 (02:30:13):
Do they have their own currency in the Senate?
Speaker 12 (02:30:17):
Is it would?
Speaker 6 (02:30:22):
I'll look at the price of these I need a roll.
Speaker 1 (02:30:26):
No, no, no, the price for these spoons, I imagine
it's probably like you've got you know, like if you
go to you know, like a big store, just like
Costco or something like that, they'll have different amounts, you know,
like this is for four seedings, for eight seatings whatever. Yeah,
this they probably have like two, four, six, and eight.
(02:30:49):
So the two, the two is like five s in it,
the four is tens in it, the six is uh
probably twelve, and then the eight is probably like fifteen's
in it.
Speaker 6 (02:31:06):
I like what you did there, and you made it
to where there's a value in going up in price.
Speaker 5 (02:31:12):
It's a great question.
Speaker 14 (02:31:14):
Enders and I move over to where someone would check out.
I sort of push some stuff off to the side,
clearing it off.
Speaker 1 (02:31:25):
Just shoves this whatever they had on the counter. You
just move it out of the way.
Speaker 16 (02:31:29):
I move it out of the way.
Speaker 5 (02:31:30):
And then I opened my inventory and I dropped down
one two, three, four, four pistols, one two, three, four five,
five bronze swords, a short bow, a my old armor,
and then something in my inventory called treasure that's worth
a hundred I don't know what that is.
Speaker 16 (02:31:54):
I just start piling stuff here.
Speaker 1 (02:31:59):
Uh yeah, you just dump a whole mess of crap out.
You were I don't know if you remember, Frank, but
when we were on when we did the Forbidden Lands,
I had that one sound effect that had somebody dumping
a whole mess of crap out, and I'm trying to
look for it. I'm I'm so pissed that I can't
find it immediately. But yeah, it's just it's just, you know,
(02:32:24):
everything from the closet where you shove all of your
crap into when you tell your parents you're about to
clean your room is what rue empties out onto the
onto the counter. Hey what what it? Just stuff starts
spilling out all over the place.
Speaker 5 (02:32:39):
I'd like to sell this, please, she's gonna kill us.
Speaker 1 (02:32:47):
Uh uh kill?
Speaker 9 (02:32:49):
What's wrong with you?
Speaker 6 (02:32:50):
Oh sorry, we're we're visiting. We're not normally from around here. Clearly,
we were just trying to do a good deed. And
I mean there's this should be around somewhere.
Speaker 1 (02:33:02):
Working on all those things. Walks over to the stuff
that like got knocked onto the floor. I was working
on that.
Speaker 5 (02:33:09):
I look at them on the floor. Oh yeah, they're
they're pretty cool.
Speaker 6 (02:33:13):
Oh, start picking them up before bo gets.
Speaker 1 (02:33:16):
To it, like pulls up. There's like warhammer figurines like ah,
like broken snap.
Speaker 16 (02:33:22):
I pick up one of the swords and I start
polishing it. I put it back down.
Speaker 3 (02:33:29):
It's I.
Speaker 1 (02:33:32):
I need you to get out of my store.
Speaker 16 (02:33:34):
What why?
Speaker 1 (02:33:36):
Because you just broke the things that I was working
on to sell me your whatever?
Speaker 12 (02:33:42):
This is?
Speaker 1 (02:33:43):
Yeah great, Hey, the things are here are made out
of wood. I worked very hard on this.
Speaker 6 (02:33:51):
What she meant was great and made out of wood,
like oh wow. And I started shoving the stuff trying
to give it back in the open. Open your bag,
just fine.
Speaker 16 (02:34:01):
I opened my inventory and I'd like to try to
steal something.
Speaker 1 (02:34:09):
Yeah, yeah, Greg is like looking around like, I bet
I knew that guy, you know. Oh no, that bark
looks clear. Yeah, uh please make it decks dex check
and we're going to say the difficulty is fourteen.
Speaker 5 (02:34:32):
Okay, technically my buddy enders here is helping me.
Speaker 4 (02:34:40):
What Yeah, you're you're still dumb.
Speaker 6 (02:34:47):
It's in trouble for once.
Speaker 1 (02:34:48):
Never mind, Okay, I worry.
Speaker 4 (02:34:51):
I'm going to make sure that I set your hometown's
on fire.
Speaker 5 (02:34:55):
It's this each how and try already respond to the culture.
Speaker 1 (02:35:05):
I got dragged into this nonsense.
Speaker 6 (02:35:08):
I'm pushing stop because her stuff in there, and if
whatever she grabs two has nothing to do with me.
But if I'm helping distrack by pushing her stuff in,
it wasn't intentional.
Speaker 1 (02:35:18):
I'll help with the roll.
Speaker 16 (02:35:20):
Fine, I'll just oh, okay.
Speaker 1 (02:35:23):
Difficulties fourteen to support its tenth.
Speaker 6 (02:35:28):
Deck star.
Speaker 18 (02:35:29):
So it's a group check now, yeah, take check between
me and you.
Speaker 6 (02:35:32):
Hell yeah, let's always absorbed with the stuff.
Speaker 16 (02:35:39):
All right, here we go.
Speaker 12 (02:35:40):
No, I'm just there.
Speaker 1 (02:35:43):
Almost like I knew this would happen, and loaded up
the final fantasy sounding village music.
Speaker 14 (02:35:50):
God my god, that's two criticals that got wasted on
support checks.
Speaker 12 (02:36:01):
Oh it's a croon nuts.
Speaker 1 (02:36:03):
Is that the highest role we had?
Speaker 4 (02:36:04):
No, I think twenty two is the highest. Twenty was
the highest previously. Oh it was either twenty or twenty one.
Speaker 12 (02:36:14):
I know, I'm very upset right now. It may as
well be a fumble.
Speaker 16 (02:36:19):
Oh sixteen baby.
Speaker 1 (02:36:22):
Okay, yeah, so, uh there's not This place is in
like a weapon shop, but there's lots of like little
knickknacks and things. Roll me a D four.
Speaker 18 (02:36:39):
Boy, okay for holy shit, okay, half it was taken
(02:36:59):
care of.
Speaker 1 (02:37:03):
Uh so as this is happening as this person is
like mourning the loss of their hard crafted wood like woodcraft,
there's like little like figurines and some carvings and stuff
that you managed to grab. There's few that are like
(02:37:26):
I imagine, there's one that's like kind of like a totem,
you know, it sort of looks like it's some sort
of scary looking face and probably like the little description
that's underneath wards away evil spirits. And then there's there's
some stuff that looks like wooden, like uh, pipes with holders.
(02:37:58):
And then you get one that's like a a brooch,
like a wooden brooch that's kind of sculpted to look
like a raven sick and you find a small puzzle box.
Speaker 18 (02:38:19):
E wake yep.
Speaker 14 (02:38:23):
Okay, And I pick up to dust off one final
piece that's fallen on the floor, and I set.
Speaker 16 (02:38:29):
It down and I close my inventory.
Speaker 5 (02:38:33):
I'll take my business elsewhere.
Speaker 16 (02:38:36):
Good next storm out, give me back.
Speaker 1 (02:38:40):
Those spoons, but.
Speaker 6 (02:38:44):
Snatches out of my hand, and I'll.
Speaker 1 (02:38:47):
I you can, I appreciate you can find your spoons elsewhere,
really nice spoons.
Speaker 6 (02:38:55):
And then I'll go on Greg mombo, all.
Speaker 12 (02:38:59):
Right, bye.
Speaker 1 (02:39:01):
Greg is just kind of like waved.
Speaker 6 (02:39:04):
Baba dah oh, and Airslith comes back.
Speaker 14 (02:39:07):
I had nothing to do with any of from waiting outside, hmmm,
oh hey, straight a different store.
Speaker 6 (02:39:19):
I lift my head inside, eyed the hell out of room,
and just like we should probably find Arislith Furs.
Speaker 5 (02:39:32):
Probably busy talking her to her boothing.
Speaker 12 (02:39:37):
Is this how shopping usually goes?
Speaker 16 (02:39:41):
I didn't have to hit someone with a basket this time.
Speaker 4 (02:39:47):
Hey are you already? Where are you? I mean Roue's
head uh hi.
Speaker 5 (02:39:56):
Iris uh we're outside. We're at some plaza. There's a
water fountain and it shaped like a giant stag beetle.
Speaker 4 (02:40:07):
I don't know what that's about Okay, we'll be right there.
Speaker 5 (02:40:12):
Okay, I think ours will be here in a minute.
Speaker 6 (02:40:18):
Okay, you should probably move away from this store. Why
because they look like their reporting stuff. Can we go
over here? That's a really interesting water fountain.
Speaker 10 (02:40:32):
M okay.
Speaker 1 (02:40:34):
We moved to the other side of the water fountain,
the less fermental side.
Speaker 12 (02:40:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (02:40:41):
I'm sure they were carving stuff and we scooped it up.
They probably just noticed that they're missing. I'm just trying
to move everyone away, not because I know that she
stole stuff, because they were staring at us. Mm hmm. Oh, Hi,
(02:41:02):
hello aers smith.
Speaker 12 (02:41:06):
Did I notice she stole something?
Speaker 1 (02:41:07):
By the way?
Speaker 2 (02:41:08):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (02:41:09):
Insight insight open check.
Speaker 12 (02:41:11):
Kate open check insight insight roll no idea mine?
Speaker 1 (02:41:17):
Okay, got sixteen soda?
