Speaker 2 (00:24):
Thank you, enjoy.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
That was a long day and it's not even anywhere
near were.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
At least we have the spoon right right?

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Well, I mean Gramma will be happy. We've got everything.
I think did we miss anything?

Speaker 5 (01:17):
That listed?

Speaker 6 (01:18):
So long?

Speaker 3 (01:18):
I keep going cross it every time I look at it.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
Okay, let me double check. We have the spoon that
she wanted. She wanted the nice cloth for the table
because I ruined the last one because I wasn't playing attention.

Speaker 6 (01:34):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
Nuts uh, nuts, sauce, nutshells, the big ones for containers,
Uh not paste.

Speaker 7 (01:47):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
I think we have everything.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Yes, it seems so. I mean, she grows all her
own berries, so it's not like she needs us to
go buy berries or anything. Just the nuts, just the nuts, well,
I suppose we should probably get to looking for the
spirit caller then, right.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Hm, hm hmm.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Do you have any idea we'd have to look for
that person?

Speaker 8 (02:15):
Hm hmm.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Well we did. We did speak to Eeralis last time
about them, right.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
They just said that they'd be back in a few hours.

Speaker 7 (02:31):
Right.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
I suppose we could check in with Euralith and see
if they know where we would be able to find them,
or if they're around yet. I mean, if anybody goes
through those gates, they would know.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
True.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Why is he called that? By the way, doesn't he
have ears?

Speaker 9 (02:52):
What?

Speaker 4 (02:54):
Never mind?

Speaker 7 (02:56):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Earless? Now his name is Eira Leth Oh okay, huh.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
I was wondering how I could hear you?

Speaker 3 (03:11):
All right? You ready?

Speaker 6 (03:14):
Enders?

Speaker 9 (03:16):
Oh? Well yeah, yes, all right.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Well let's go find Arielith and ask if them there's
any sort of information if the Spirit caller has returned yet.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
So, uh, you take your time. Venturing back to one
of the entrances to the town. You can see is
I imagine probably talking to a family. It looks like
they look like they ventured out of the city or whatever,
and they have gathered some stuff. They have probably some

(03:55):
fallen uh, fallen wood from various sorts, is like dead
trees and whatever, branches that have been knocked over by
animals or what have you, bundled up in. I don't
know what to call it, but my mom used to
collect vines and stuff, and she had this. It was

(04:18):
like two pieces of wood and there was a piece
of cloth that went in between the two pieces of wood,
so you can sort of like fold it up and
carry it. And it was good for like collecting firewood
or what have you. So they have something like that
and probably some backpacks and stuff. And you can see
that they've gathered like mushrooms and they've done a bunch

(04:39):
of foraging. They've collected a whole bunch of different berries
and stuff and mushrooms and all different kinds of stuff
evident and you can see the aerleith. It's just chatting
with them my entrance.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
Okay, I might be wrong, but I think that was knapsack,
isn't it.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
We call backpacks knapsacks as well. Okay, so I don't know.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
Now, I'm not sure anyway, Sorry, he's talking to the voice.

Speaker 7 (05:13):
In what.

Speaker 10 (05:14):
Wow, it seems like we all have one wondrous all right, Well,
excuse me her lit sort to interrupt.

Speaker 8 (05:28):
Terribly.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Sorry, enjoy your foraging and have a wonderful evening.

Speaker 6 (05:42):
Sorry.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
So has there been any word on the spirit color yet?

Speaker 7 (05:51):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Yes, I believe that Silvara has made her way back
into town not too long ago, maybe half mala.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Oh wonderful. Do you know perhaps where we might be
able to find them?

Speaker 9 (06:06):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Yes, up on the second terrace.

Speaker 8 (06:11):
And if you.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Do, you know where that old fountain is?

Speaker 3 (06:18):
Do I remember where the old fountain.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Is as soon as they bring it up?

Speaker 6 (06:22):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (06:22):
How could I forget where the old fountain is?

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Yeah, of course, And I imagine throughout the day it's
been a bit of an experience at Ryslith. Like you know,
when you go to these places, the memories start like
flooding in your mind, right, traveling through these different shops,
you probably remember little events and things that happened through

(06:46):
your life, and yeah, the fountain just pops right in
your head. It's an older fountain, probably from the very
early days of the town's founding that's still around. A
lot of the stone is kind of like weather beaten
on it, and you know they've had to redo. They

(07:08):
have like a sculpture like a relief built into the
you know, the the edge of the fountain, around the
circumference of the fountain.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
And.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
They had to get a sculptor from Temperess to come
to redo it. When you were a kid, you remember.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
That right, all right, soon you're the old fountain. To
know what we should be looking for in terms of
how they look.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Oh, yes, well she's a little taller than you and
has h Well they were wearing a green green clothing
and they have a travel cloak, but I don't know

(08:02):
if they still wear that after returning home. And she's well,
she's she's probably about about eighty or so, and that's
like well into adulthood.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
Yeah, for for elves.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
If your grandmother is about one hundred and fifty, that's
that's like a fairly long life for elf here. So
eighty is eighty is a little bit older than middle age,
I think for elves. And she has a she was

(08:49):
wearing her hair up today, excellent green eyes.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
All right, Well the others.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
I don't think you've ever met her. No, I believe
she moved here after after you had left.

Speaker 11 (09:12):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
Interesting, do we know where she's from from the Capitol.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Yes, she's from Tempest tempress.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Oh, I see all right, no pressure. Okay, are we ready?

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Mm hmm, yeah, all.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
Right, thank you, you're alive. And I start scurrying off
before we can even say anything else.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
Have a good night.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
Yeah, you do.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Make your way up to the second terrace past the fountain,
so you head back to the town fountain. In this area,
in the second terrace around the fountain, there are only

(10:09):
a few homes. Most of the homes here look a
bit older than the rest of Felisia. There's typical sort
of appearance here with the buildings. A lot of them
are sort of white stone, lots of brown, gold, white,

(10:32):
and green sort of themes, matching a lot of the
colors of the forth. There's three, I think homes around
this fountain, and there's lots of wonderful like landscaping that's
been done, lots of fresh flowers and things growing all around.

(10:53):
It's very beautiful benches and just looks like a nice place,
like if you were going to eat lunch. This looks
like a wonderful spot.

Speaker 7 (11:04):
M hmmm.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
And looking around, is there no one outside at the moment?
It's only the homes, right, Do I recall any of
the owners of some of these.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
Homes make an insight and insight.

Speaker 9 (11:24):
Open check.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
That's a three.

Speaker 9 (11:31):
You do not.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
M hm, well, there's no one outside. Do you think
we should start knocking on doors?

Speaker 4 (11:48):
Mm hmm?

Speaker 9 (11:52):
What do you.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
What time to day?

Speaker 6 (11:57):
Is it.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
Late afternoon?

Speaker 4 (12:00):
Okay?

Speaker 9 (12:03):
I would expect if they're a spirit caller that their
abode would not look as normal as the resident see
if they're the community spirit caller. I don't know their status,
but if they're in any importance, they probably have some
kind of markings.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
What do you believe the spirit cooler?

Speaker 1 (12:23):
As Bo asks this, ers, you've heard tales of the
spirit callers, but they are a little bit like you.
They are spiritists and arconists primarily, and typically they are

(12:50):
passed with communicating with the environment around them. I guess
similar to like maybe like a traditional druid. Almost they
talk to the area around and they they sort of

(13:14):
get a feeling for, like any any weird problems or
anything like that or that are happening around the town
or or nearby. It's kind of a strange job, but
it's necessary for the people that live here.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
Well, they're sort of like me. They're a combination of
an arcanist and a spiritist, and basically they are able
to communicate with the spirits around. They're able to gauge
like the resonance of basically how they're feeling and what's
going on. Sort of like that.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
I guess, all right, Well, I mean and just said
that he could see auras and stuff. Can you can
you see spirits being called to a place.

Speaker 9 (14:03):
It's quite different, depends I can see manner or as
can be different types of things, but it's more like
a reading man levels I see.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
Do spirits have manner?

Speaker 9 (14:21):
I guess I wouldn't know. I don't come in contact
with spirits often at least.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
Hm.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
Okay, maybe I'm just taking spirit call a bit literally,
as all.

Speaker 9 (14:36):
One who calls spirits I believe that's quite literal.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
Is there a graveyard nearby?

Speaker 9 (14:42):
Oh? And that meaning maybe you're thinking necromancy.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
I don't know, maybe, but maybe it's like a necroman
So that's like maybe perhaps like instead of like using
bones and stuff, that they just use the ghosts.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Oh goodness me like ghost controlling.

Speaker 7 (15:00):
Hmmm.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
Do you think I'm a necromancer or an ecto mansa?
Maybe I could summon.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
It's the spirit of a.

Speaker 9 (15:11):
King, calm down and you stop putting things in the head.

Speaker 4 (15:16):
You know, I'm not a necromancer if I I mean,
is that bad thing?

Speaker 6 (15:19):
Really?

Speaker 3 (15:20):
I don't want to manipulate dead people.

Speaker 4 (15:22):
Well, I mean manipulate and ask for things.

Speaker 11 (15:25):
You know.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
Favors start with doors, Yes, like that one over there.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
Yes, And I rushed over and I knock on.

Speaker 9 (15:39):
It like fire machiner knocking on the door.

Speaker 4 (15:44):
She's totally a necro monsera.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
Roll me a D three three okay, uh, rapid fire knocking.

Speaker 8 (15:56):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
The door shortly thereafter opens kind of like quickly and yeah,
you see an elf about middle age, hair up, wearing green,
no cloak, but they look at you. Godness, what is
the problem.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
I fix my posture from where it was because I
was doing like that hunched over like I'm terrified kind
of thing. Like I need to just stop this conversation immediately. Apologies.
I seem to have gotten very excited. Hello, my name

(16:40):
is is is? Are you the Spirit Collar?

Speaker 1 (16:45):
I am Silvara the Spirit Collar.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
Ah. Good, I hope I'm not interrupting anything. Would you
have time to talk?

Speaker 6 (16:59):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (17:00):
We normally I have hours that I work with people
during this is usually after them go ahead and make
an insight and will power check, do an open check.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
I'm gonna go ahead and use lucky seven here to
replace that two of the seven to make it twelve.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
Okay, but it's only a little bit after my hours.
I suppose I wouldn't mind.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
A wonderful. Is there a good place to start up?
These are my companions.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
Hi, hello, give me a moment we can meet outside?

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Correct, Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
She smiles and just slowly closes the door. Can hear
her like doing some things inside quickly, and then like
maybe a minute later she makes her way outside. Oh, yes, hello,

(18:14):
She nods to Bow and Enders and Rue and yeah,
Rue is probably like messing with some plants that are
around the fountain, sort of like smacking them. It sort
of bounced back up she smacks it again, kind of
just like playing with the different plants in the background today. Yeah,

(18:39):
we see her tail like sticking up and being all
fluffed out, and occasionally we see her pop up and
like look around and then duck back down. Her eye
her pupils are all fucking crazy dilated.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Well, these are my companions. That one over there is Rue,
one is Enders, and this one is.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
Both Ali, Hello, it's that you're familiar.

Speaker 4 (19:13):
What's familiar?

Speaker 3 (19:18):
Well, yes, and no.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
I mean on paper legally speaking, well at the Milfic Carnum.

Speaker 12 (19:30):
Yes, at any rate.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
Apologies for for taking up your time, but we had
some questions that we wanted to ask you. How to
start this? Well, we are on a very important mission
at the moment.

Speaker 12 (19:54):
Uh, You're have been some terrible things that happened in
Infernia in Millifax.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
That are a danger to everyone. Do you know of
the Savior Moon?

Speaker 6 (20:18):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (20:20):
What is going on?

Speaker 3 (20:27):
Well, something very bad happened to her, and that very
bad thing led her to not being able to really
control her own faculties, so to speak. She's one of
our friends, and some very bad things happened and we're

(20:49):
looking to help or stop her. But we need help
and we need to get stronger.

Speaker 11 (20:57):
Ah, and and I'm you are Moons companions.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
M hm hm m m Munique.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
It's a bit complicated at the moment, but we were
we'd like to help.

Speaker 8 (21:26):
Ah.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
Well, I was not expecting to have this conversation. I
thought this would be something simple like where would be
the best place that I can go forage?

Speaker 6 (21:40):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (21:41):
Well, all right, Well let's have a seat first and foremost.
I don't believe that we've all met beyond these introductions.
But my name is Silvara.

Speaker 6 (21:59):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
I don't typically handle this sort of thing, but I
will try my best to help you as much as
I can. Now this problem with your companion, the savior.

Speaker 9 (22:24):
What happened?

Speaker 1 (22:27):
You say that their faculties are damaged.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
I look towards the others to see if they'd be
able to describe it a little better.

Speaker 9 (22:42):
Well, me, you want the truth or do you want
me to sugarcoat it like everyone else does lately?

Speaker 3 (22:53):
You can tell the truth all right?

Speaker 9 (22:56):
Well it wants or move now? They're not. They're a
high class villain now who seems to have some kind
of reaction to ember Stowe seems to make them stronger.
I've died to them, He's died to them. Squeeze died

(23:21):
to them. And we need to accelerate our training, especially
here is lit here to be able to handle these
tasks or the destruction of the world may happen. Oh
and then there's the mails from may be connected.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
So Vara is just getting more and more slack jawed
as this is happening, Like eyebrowser traveling up her forehead
like further and further.

Speaker 9 (23:51):
Ah, oh, I'm not done. If you need a measure
of the power scaling. She was able to take out
a few dragon riders of the It's mit efacts, Yes,
that was the thing single handedly. Of course, she's able
to move. She's able to leap regions and imaginable speeds.

(24:22):
Leap regions, yes, fly leap however you want to say it?
And mm hm oh go ahead, what all mean?

Speaker 4 (24:34):
Faster than a dragon? She can kill a kid you
in a single punch. She can probably I don't know,
sip you through a straw if you're made of even
if you're not a slime, you know.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
Well, there have been many stories about the Savior's prowess.
I of course, like most people imagined that, well, she
would be strong, but well this is.

Speaker 9 (25:15):
A lot. She's not unbeatable, at least that's what I believe.
But it will take a lot.

Speaker 4 (25:25):
Right, I mean right, maybe if we had another moon
to fight moon then yeah, perhaps, or I don't know,
if we had ten years. But if we had ten years,
she'd have ten years, right, But I don't know. She
could probably eat this entire place.

Speaker 9 (25:45):
It wouldn't Zagaray too much. I feel that her powers
have been escalated due to well what happened at the
lapse hmm. Other than that, she's just like us.

Speaker 4 (25:59):
And civilian, right. But she's not just a villain. She's
also our friend and she can be saved.

Speaker 9 (26:06):
Well, that's what we're hoping. We have plans, but first
things first, we have to go on a step water
and that is too celebrate our training. I don't know
if you're going to be much help to me or
bow or root, but we're larously here. She has an
affinity to spirits. She's brought me back from wherever I was,

(26:33):
the void in between, whatever you want to call it,
though not whole. I am standing in front of you.
It means she has potential. I believe it. Celebrated training
can happen, seeing that we completed the whole course at
the Melavakarum in mit Offax Infernia within two weeks.

Speaker 8 (26:55):
So you are heroes now.

Speaker 9 (26:59):
Heroes by definition are those who save the two things
of unparallel design against evil and corruption. We have not
done that yet, but we will be. With your training,
we can become what that is.

Speaker 1 (27:15):
I can see it all about you. Given your friend
over there that is avoiding the water in the fountain.

Speaker 4 (27:24):
She's having a meow day.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Ah.

Speaker 9 (27:28):
I see this World's what everyone's been saying, is we
have a different.

Speaker 8 (27:37):
Or about us.

Speaker 1 (27:39):
Yes, and see it quite clearly, and I can see
what remains of your spirit.

Speaker 9 (27:53):
I snap a look at her, very straightforward. We should
talk about.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
Your name is familiar to me, Errislith. Yes, I have
spoken with your grandmother before, Sarah Lyth. Yes, yes, yes,
I'm well aware of your bloodline. But you must I

(28:36):
am confused. I have met heroes before during the war,
and I was not aware of any heroes amongst our
own people. You come from here, from Felicia. Your family

(29:06):
is here from what I know. And excuse me if
I'm wrong. You are not adopted, were you?

Speaker 12 (29:18):
No?

Speaker 3 (29:19):
No, that my grandmother's my grandmother.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
From what I understand, heroes come from other worlds. That
is what I have been taught.

Speaker 3 (29:36):
Well, it's a little complicated, but well, ten years ago
I remember going off to fight in the war, and

(29:56):
that's the last thing I remember before I woke in Emberstone.
In Emberstone, indeed, all of us here were encased in it.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
I have never heard anything of the like that is
most strange. Do you understand Do you know anything about why?

Speaker 7 (30:23):
No?

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Neither do I unfortunately, but no, I've never heard of
anything like that. No creatures trapped in Emberstone.

Speaker 9 (30:42):
About creatures absorbing in Berstone, or being experimented on.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
I'm sure the people of Cynthoris did some sort of
experimentations throughout the.

Speaker 8 (30:56):
War, but.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
Here in ellen draft that is strictly forbidden.

Speaker 3 (31:10):
Well, at any rate, when we broke out of the Emberstone,
we had this aura that everyone keeps talking about. We
train faster, we become stronger faster, we have sort of
information more quickly. So the point is that I think

(31:41):
if anyone is going to be able to do anything,
even temporarily stop what's happening to Moon and what she's doing,
it has to be us. We saw firsthand what happened
in Millifax, and for that to happen, we need to
train and we need knowledge. We're actually stopping here on

(32:04):
the way to no Sisia to meet with the sages,
but along the way I need to find more our condom,
and we need to get stronger.

Speaker 6 (32:17):
You.

Speaker 9 (32:17):
We also need to see the Queen.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
That is a tall order. Well, I could sense your
connection to the spirits, but I must admit it seems overwhelming.

(32:45):
I can direct you to potentially find more our condom.
But what you have said, yes, this Savior Moon.

Speaker 6 (33:08):
I have.

Speaker 1 (33:10):
Much like most of the people here in Ellen Drath,
we've all heard stories of the Savior. As you can imagine,
we are closed off from most of the world. We
don't have much of the technology that other countries do.
But even the stories of Moon have made their way here.

(33:37):
Fighting Kaidu, like you said in a Tessa, traveling to
some of the most dangerous places in Regalia. And if,
as you said, she killed you, i'm you you wish

(34:04):
to fight her again.

Speaker 9 (34:09):
Of course you were much weaker than If we accelerate
our training double speed what we were doing, you should
be on par. The goal here is not to eliminate her,
is to separate her from there was plaguing her. The

(34:29):
elimination would be a last resort. Those around me do
not like to speak on those times.

Speaker 3 (34:42):
There's no one else. We haven't heard of any any
heroes other than us, and we don't even really consider
ourselves actual heroes.

Speaker 1 (34:58):
I think, much like the rest of our people, I
thought all of the heroes besides moon were dead to
see you here and see you The rislith amongst these
heroes is shock frankly. But if you wish me to

(35:27):
help you, I will do what I can, thank you.
That is my job for those of Ellen, Drath and Felsia.
That's why I was sent here the Council of Spirit
Callers and Temperess.

Speaker 9 (35:48):
So you should be able to get us an queen
quite easily.

Speaker 1 (35:53):
Easily, isn't the word that I would use.

Speaker 9 (35:57):
I can help The maelstrom is growing. It's encroaching on
your land and should, in due time swallow it slowly.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
I thought that the towers that were put up the
reason the war ended.

Speaker 9 (36:15):
That is the major problem. As long as Valkyrie is
about in their current state, this world could be ended
by two things, the Valkyrie or the melch. I believe
if the Queen hears of this, and once our reports,

(36:38):
they will be happy to have an audience.

Speaker 3 (36:42):
We've also met her before in Coca.

Speaker 1 (36:46):
You met the Queen, indeed, well, I personally have only
met her twice before myself. Any interaction with the Council
was usually done through our leaders. But all right, in

(37:15):
terms of what I can do for you, I can
direct you with the spirits will guide me. But as
far as some sort of training that isn't typically something

(37:38):
that well, she looks you over and she says you
are already quite powerful. When you say, moon, is this
much more than all of you?

Speaker 9 (37:55):
Double m.

Speaker 4 (38:01):
Double, I think that she could probably like snap us
like dry twigs.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
Honestly, uh huh. If I may ask, what what level
have you achieved in your spiritism and in your arcanism?

Speaker 8 (38:25):
You're a slith.

Speaker 3 (38:27):
Well, my arganism needs work. Well, my arganism needs work.
I'm only about levels three. We haven't run into many
arcana but my spiritism. And I twiddle my thumbs and
I look down as I say it. Uh, I've reached

(38:51):
level ten.

Speaker 1 (38:54):
Eyebrows basically raise so high they like shoot back off
of her head. You have surpassed the ninth level barrier.

Speaker 12 (39:08):
My nod.

Speaker 1 (39:13):
I know of no other that has reached that level
of spiritist.

Speaker 3 (39:22):
There is a professor in Infurnia, the malific Rnum Professor drosk.

Speaker 6 (39:30):
Well.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
The Council of spirit Callers will be most interested to
know of that.

Speaker 7 (39:36):
I can be.

Speaker 9 (39:38):
I will.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
I must let them know.

Speaker 3 (39:42):
She was my mentor, our mentor.

Speaker 1 (39:49):
I don't know how much more I can teach you.

Speaker 3 (39:57):
Well when it comes to arcanism, that would be the
main focus, I think, becoming more connected with the spirits
of the land.

Speaker 1 (40:11):
Yes, ah, very well. I can perform a ritual and
see if there are any arconom that would be willing
to well be in service the rest of you.

Speaker 6 (40:38):
Are you?

Speaker 1 (40:41):
I don't sense any arcanists or spiritist energies coming from you.

Speaker 9 (40:50):
Yeah, I'm a massive menthropy in the elements. Okay, ten
and both. That's the thing.

Speaker 8 (41:06):
Is these you are heroes.

Speaker 1 (41:13):
Do you understand that for most of the people here
in Regalia, achieving the tenth level in any of the
magics that we have available to us is a staggering accomplishment?

(41:38):
And you say you are master of not one but you?

Speaker 4 (41:44):
Well, yeah, and I'm the most slime person I know.

Speaker 3 (41:54):
Hmm, he's quite skilled in Chimarism.

Speaker 4 (41:58):
I'm a slid.

Speaker 1 (42:02):
Well, if you wish my help, I will reach out
to the spirits. Would you like to join me?

Speaker 3 (42:15):
Yes, yes, of course. Before we do that, though, have
the spirits told you anything of late about about the
mines nearby, the Amberstone mines, or anything to do with
the Maelstrom.

Speaker 9 (42:33):
No.

Speaker 1 (42:34):
The only thing of concern at the moment for Felicia,
the groves to the north northeast. Well, that is where
most of my attention has been as of late. But

(42:59):
in regards to the storm Veil rift and well the
Yemberstone mines. Now, I haven't ventured across the border in
a very long time.

Speaker 3 (43:15):
Right, at least it's not here yet. That's good.

Speaker 1 (43:20):
Well, if the rift was here, I'm sure it would
be very bad. Do you know.

Speaker 3 (43:30):
Of any other locations of these towers that are preventing
the millstrom? The one in Centhauris appears to be functional.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
Still, I I do not know all of these locations
of which you speak. There are none as far as
I am aware, in Ellendrath, but I do know that
there is one in at least one m Plataia. You're

(44:02):
sought haven, very good, thank you, that's important.

Speaker 9 (44:18):
Hm hmm, I have of course, if it's okay. They
asked before you get started. Do you have a relationship
with your spirits the God? Do they converse with you?
Give your advice? Here? Isleth here have not heard of

(44:40):
any of our tropels you actually having a relationship with
the spirits that can possibly up your skill level immensely, do.

Speaker 3 (44:54):
Not as not as much as I should. I suppose.

Speaker 1 (45:00):
It is the most important part of Arcanism.

Speaker 9 (45:09):
I apologize, and I mean to you, M no, that
is important.

Speaker 3 (45:18):
I shall endeavor to do so more.

Speaker 1 (45:26):
Well, if you wish, I can begin a ritual to
speak to the spirits you are you familiar with the
arcanist's rituals?

Speaker 3 (45:41):
Yes, very bare bones, but yes.

Speaker 1 (45:46):
Very well. You're going to need some things. It is
the most important when setting up an Arcanist's ritual that
you include well parts of the environment from the area.

(46:06):
And she, she says, I will retrieve some from my
home and give me a few moments. Very well, she
had inside in the background, we just see rue like

(46:27):
chasing a fucking butterfly, like jumping.

Speaker 9 (46:29):
Up and mh, I saught to be interesting.

Speaker 1 (46:40):
Yeah, she returns. She has just like what appears to
be like a cloth sack, and you can see that
there's various like plants and things inside, a few flowers,
and it looks like there's probably some dirt in there
as well. And you can see there's various places around

(47:05):
the fountain that look like they house components for these rituals.
She has like these little pedestals, I think, in various places,
and you probably didn't even notice them at first. They
just kind of look like some ornamentation for the circle

(47:26):
around the fountain. But she begins to place things in
these various locations.

Speaker 9 (47:34):
She has like a.

Speaker 1 (47:34):
Scoop of dirt, some herbs, flowers, it looks like some
some mostly local flora and stuff that she puts in
these places.

Speaker 3 (47:49):
Interesting.

Speaker 1 (47:55):
As she's doing this, there's probably like a like a
few people that glance over to see what's happening, maybe
for a minute or so, and then make, you know,
go on their way. People have seen Silvar probably do
this before, I imagine, so they you know, throw over
that like that eavesdroppy, voyeuristic, sort of nosey look, but

(48:19):
they say, oh, it's another ritual, Okay, they go about
their business. But yeah, she sets us up for a
few minutes, and she says, are you going to take
part as well? And she motions towards the rest of you.

Speaker 9 (48:37):
Take part in one way.

Speaker 1 (48:41):
Do you wish to hear the call of the spirits?

Speaker 4 (48:47):
Would that make us a spirit caller or a hero?

Speaker 1 (48:49):
How does that work? She looks towards Iryslith and she says,
do you think they should participate? You know them better
than I.

Speaker 3 (49:04):
Well, it might make them uncomfortable, as it pulls from
quite a bit of armana, right from the energies of
our spirits. Oh, I would say, only if you're willing
to channel some of your energy into this ritual.

Speaker 4 (49:18):
Is it like a spirit ball? My help?

Speaker 9 (49:21):
These spirits have incredible amounts of money.

Speaker 1 (49:24):
You say, I did not say that.

Speaker 3 (49:29):
I said the ritual is something that requires us to
utilize ourmana to summoning of sorts.

Speaker 1 (49:38):
Very well, very well, if you would like to participate,
you can sit there, and she motions towards basically a
spot right in front of these pedestals. Anybody that wants

(50:00):
to join.

Speaker 9 (50:03):
You go ahead. I'll tint rue.

Speaker 4 (50:07):
Okay, I wish I had a laser pointer. I kind
of move towards one of the stools and kind of
just subsume it, absorb it, but not eat it.

Speaker 1 (50:25):
Fair enough? Okay, Uh, let's see here.

Speaker 9 (50:37):
Oh, and if anything goes wrong, call me. I have
something that may be able to help. Not only if
anything goes wrong, I don't imagine it.

Speaker 4 (50:48):
Will if we die, how do we call you?

Speaker 3 (50:53):
We're not gonna die. Well, unless we have to fight
the are condom to earn its favor. Some you have
to actually so.

Speaker 1 (51:04):
That the fine. I am just calling to the spirits
to find an our conom that might be able to
help you. I this is not a ritual specifically to
speak to an arcanom.

Speaker 4 (51:26):
Mhm question.

Speaker 1 (51:33):
I'm sorry, are you speaking to me?

Speaker 4 (51:36):
Mm hmmm?

Speaker 1 (51:38):
What is your question?

Speaker 9 (51:40):
Well?

Speaker 4 (51:42):
Is it possible to focus on a kind of our
condom to Paul?

Speaker 7 (51:46):
Right? Like?

Speaker 9 (51:47):
Right now?

Speaker 4 (51:49):
Iris, what which ones do you have?

Speaker 6 (51:51):
Right now?

Speaker 4 (51:51):
You have like a fiery guy and you have something else?
Right jud Kara and volcaner and Judikara?

Speaker 3 (51:58):
Is she's a protection or conum?

Speaker 4 (52:04):
Okay?

Speaker 6 (52:05):
Like?

Speaker 4 (52:06):
What element?

Speaker 3 (52:08):
Unspecific?

Speaker 4 (52:10):
Okay? Well I was thinking right because moon it's a
dark maybe perhaps you know what's the opposite of a moon?
A sun?

Speaker 6 (52:19):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (52:20):
Is there a way to lot?

Speaker 3 (52:22):
Judokara's attacks are of a light variety. Oh, okay, She's
just able to protect us in a variety of different elements.

Speaker 4 (52:29):
Right, so we already have the sun on our side
against the moon. I mean I suppose before we, like
I guess, focus and think about what spirit to pull
forward or if that's even a thing you can do
what would work the most against moon m hm A

(52:52):
rock m But what do you think.

Speaker 3 (52:59):
I think it's just going to be any arcanum willing
to answer the call that is close enough to hear it.

Speaker 4 (53:06):
Yes, m okay, I'm going. I'm good to help, good
to go.

Speaker 8 (53:17):
Well.

Speaker 1 (53:19):
You may sit in front of the pedestal if you
wish to be a part of the ritual, very good.
If you are looking for a specific arconom that will
be more challenging. We can look for the ones in
the area, but if you seek to search for them,

(53:40):
that will be more difficult.

Speaker 6 (53:44):
M m m.

Speaker 3 (54:01):
Yes, I mean, and it's a good question. I would
imagine anything in the area would be really fixated on.

Speaker 4 (54:14):
Nature, like a big old tree or.

Speaker 6 (54:24):
Hear that effect.

Speaker 3 (54:26):
I think perhaps for now we'll stick with whatever's closest.
Once I watch you do the ritual, perhaps I'll be
able to learn how to do it properly and be
able to do it on our travels as well.

Speaker 8 (54:38):
Very well.

Speaker 1 (54:41):
For mechanical purposes, this will be considered a a large area. Yes,
will be a medium potency, so queen yeah, Between everybody involved,

(55:06):
uh will be one hundred and twenty mind points to spend.

Speaker 3 (55:14):
Hm hm, oh, isn't it times three not four?

Speaker 1 (55:18):
It would be oh yeah, I'm sorry, ninety.

Speaker 3 (55:21):
Yeah, that's a long yeah, okay, let's see. I believe
I should spend the most, so I'll go ahead and
I'll do ninety. Oh wait at eighty if that's sorry.

Speaker 1 (55:46):
I will provide some of the focus required for the spell.
You do not have to spend it all yourself.

Speaker 5 (55:58):
I see.

Speaker 3 (56:03):
Then I suppose i'll go halfway and I'll do fifty.

Speaker 4 (56:06):
I'll just flail my super pods in the air take
my energy.

Speaker 1 (56:10):
Are you actually contributing here, Bob? Okay, all right, fair enough.
So normally what i'd suggest is you just divide it
into thirds. In this case, so each of you would
be spending thirty and Silvara will spend thirty. But you

(56:33):
can reorganize that how you like.

Speaker 4 (56:37):
I'm happy with thirty, are you?

Speaker 1 (56:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (56:41):
Well, okay, okay, all right, just checking you by shaming me.

Speaker 3 (56:47):
No, I'm just I just have a very large pool
of it.

Speaker 4 (56:51):
Okay, look at you, your big pool. I've got a
nice pool. It's not Olympic or anything, but it's it's
is deacent enough.

Speaker 3 (57:03):
Your pool. Your pool is beautiful.

Speaker 4 (57:05):
About it's too late for that.

Speaker 1 (57:11):
Silvara begins to sit at one of the bases of
one of the pedestals, and you can see as you do,
some of the water from the fountain. It looks like
there appears to be some rivulets that make their way
out from the fountain heading to each of the pedestals

(57:32):
that have been placed down. They sort of uh spread
out a little bit like the the stuff from Blade
or from like the Game of Thrones House of the
Dragon intro that kind of look. We see the the
water just kind of like spreading out to the different pedestals,

(57:52):
and the ritual begins to take place. Now, Iris rislyth
you will be leading. This difficulty is going to be
ten and this is willpower, willpower for an arganism ritual.

Speaker 12 (58:11):
Al Right, it's this group.

Speaker 3 (58:16):
Check there we go.

Speaker 4 (58:24):
Oh, I succeeded for the first time in forever.

Speaker 6 (58:27):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (58:29):
All right, so it's just us two then rolling right,
I think, so twelve success.

Speaker 1 (58:38):
Okay. As this ritual begins, we can see, I think
the water that has spread out in these rivulets towards
the pedestals begin to sort of form this mist around
in a sort of hemisphere around the ritual area. You

(59:04):
can see that there appears to be various like leaves
that begin to fall from the trees nearby, and they
begin to sort of swirl around the almost bubble like
look of the ritual from the outside. I imagine that

(59:26):
for Enders and for Rue, it's probably it feels like
it feels like all the hair on your arm, or
like on the back of your neck stands up for
a moment, and bo and eryslith You can hear sort
of slowly coming into your hearing range. You can hear

(59:52):
almost what sounds like whispers sort of coming in like
a breath on the wind. There's a a feeling of
interconnectedness as you feel your senses begin to extend outwards

(01:00:18):
from this ritual. It feels like you are becoming part
of a network almost the trees in the area. You
have this vague connection to them, as you can feel

(01:00:38):
wind blowing through the leaves of the trees, their boughs
sort of bending a little bit in rhythm with the wind.
It feels almost like a conversation and a dance at
the same time, and you are a part of that
in some way. Tangentially, it doesn't feel like you are
in the dance, but maybe you can hear the music.

(01:01:02):
You can sense vague feelings of the forest around you,
maybe first or some rain, maybe a bit of a
tickle sensation as small animals make their way through the

(01:01:26):
branches of the trees. It's probably a little jarring at first,
but then it becomes very comfortable as this ritual happens,
and like someone talking in a distant corner of the room,

(01:01:46):
you can hear whispers ah, like size.

Speaker 8 (01:01:56):
A new voice.

Speaker 1 (01:02:05):
Dances amongst us.

Speaker 9 (01:02:10):
Voice.

Speaker 8 (01:02:14):
I feel them.

Speaker 13 (01:02:19):
One we know, one we did know, and one we
do not.

Speaker 1 (01:02:43):
What do you seek.

Speaker 3 (01:02:53):
To connect with one of the spirits? One that is strong, stray?

Speaker 1 (01:03:06):
You see stray, one.

Speaker 8 (01:03:13):
Who will.

Speaker 1 (01:03:15):
Give you stray? Why do you seek this?

Speaker 3 (01:03:34):
Because there is great evil in this world and a
danger insurmountable without that strength.

Speaker 6 (01:03:54):
Right all you?

Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
Oh, there there are many evils in this world? Why
this one?

Speaker 3 (01:04:19):
Because it could be the end of this place if
not taken seriously and if not handled appropriately. I rish
to save Ellendrathen Oliver Regallia if we can.

Speaker 7 (01:04:36):
Oh, so.

Speaker 1 (01:04:45):
You are here?

Speaker 8 (01:04:50):
You are not here?

Speaker 6 (01:04:54):
You are.

Speaker 8 (01:04:57):
One of the chosen.

Speaker 3 (01:05:09):
What does that mean?

Speaker 6 (01:05:16):
You have been.

Speaker 1 (01:05:24):
Chosen? Many have been chosen through time. They come from
not this land, from far.

Speaker 6 (01:05:56):
You have.

Speaker 1 (01:06:00):
Capacity for large, great, big things. I see, I have seen.

Speaker 8 (01:06:38):
Other places, other lands.

Speaker 7 (01:06:50):
Indeed rug d oh, yeah they call this.

Speaker 8 (01:07:05):
Place.

Speaker 3 (01:07:07):
Yes, Ellen Drath is but one small part of it.
And if the rest of if Brigolia falls, then so
too will Ellen Drath.

Speaker 1 (01:07:29):
Yes, all is in danger. If real is what do
you seek from us?

Speaker 3 (01:07:50):
This strength, the strength of one of the ancients in
our connum. Any that are willing to fight alongside us,
they are all special.

Speaker 1 (01:08:16):
There is one It is.

Speaker 6 (01:08:25):
Not far?

Speaker 3 (01:08:32):
Could you guide us?

Speaker 1 (01:08:37):
You begin to see some of the butterflies that Rue
was chasing after begin to float on down towards you.

Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
I look towards Uh, so far and I nod, And
then to my companions, I'm.

Speaker 4 (01:08:58):
Just wave my pseudopods around. Can I Could I hear
this conversation? Or am I just in it?

Speaker 1 (01:09:05):
We're part of the ritual. You can hear it. Enders
doesn't hear ship, but he.

Speaker 3 (01:09:10):
Would see like all of the stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:09:12):
Yeah, you can see. Yeah, the Enders. It kind of
looks like it's just a it's it's not really a bubble.
It's probably like a mist. It almost looks like, you know,
like if you were to spray like a water bottle.
It kind of just looks like a hemisphere of that.

Speaker 9 (01:09:28):
Right the drop. I'm just holding rue by the tail.

Speaker 3 (01:09:32):
Yeah, I believe we have a path? Will you walk
it with me? I look towards them.

Speaker 9 (01:09:45):
I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:09:49):
Walk, no follow.

Speaker 9 (01:09:51):
Yes, I'm just pulling out room career. Yes. Yes, you
kept going there.

Speaker 1 (01:10:12):
And the voices continue sort of whispering, and they slowly
begin to fade, sounds like leaves rustling, and they say,
be weary, oh.

Speaker 6 (01:10:35):
How.

Speaker 3 (01:10:42):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:10:47):
The mist starts to slowly settle on the objects around yourself,
yourselves as well. There's just kind of like a morning
do kind of feeling on your skin. Hmmm, well.

Speaker 4 (01:11:12):
That was fun.

Speaker 6 (01:11:14):
It worked.

Speaker 1 (01:11:17):
That do you think incredible? That was so clear?

Speaker 4 (01:11:24):
Is that not normally how it happens?

Speaker 1 (01:11:28):
It is different. I suppose every time. I've only had
a few conversations with the spirits that were so eloquent.

Speaker 4 (01:11:40):
What do you talk about normally?

Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
Well, most of the time it's feelings such but I
think you have a very close connection with the land.
Maybe both of you.

Speaker 3 (01:11:57):
M oh, pat bow.

Speaker 4 (01:12:06):
Kind of bounce a tiny bit like a basketball.

Speaker 1 (01:12:11):
Bo's got recoil.

Speaker 4 (01:12:12):
Mm hmm, I've got suspension. Baby.

Speaker 3 (01:12:17):
Your help has been instrumental. Tilvar, thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (01:12:25):
It is my job.

Speaker 3 (01:12:30):
We shall go chase this lead and see if the
ancients will join with our party.

Speaker 1 (01:12:39):
I wish you luck.

Speaker 7 (01:12:43):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (01:12:45):
Are we ready then, m we have a meeting to attend.

Speaker 9 (01:12:53):
I will.

Speaker 1 (01:12:56):
Suggest you that if you have Arcanum already, as your
companion mentioned, I do not know of their compatibility, but

(01:13:19):
be cautious. Sometimes there is some contention.

Speaker 4 (01:13:23):
Ah, do you think they will they won't get, you know,
get along? Maybe they will that you know, can ourcanum
have relationships like can you get like you know, a
boyfriend Arcanum and a girlfriend Arcanum and they're too busy
to work with you, you know, and that they have other plans.

Speaker 1 (01:13:41):
I don't think it works exactly that way. But there
are relationships amongst Arcanum. Okay, what you have said, you
have not noticed anything yet amongst those that.

Speaker 7 (01:13:52):
You do have.

Speaker 1 (01:13:53):
HM, if I may ask what spirits have you bonded with?

Speaker 3 (01:14:04):
Well, the first one was Judikara, the veil of sacrifice.
I do not know her origins, but she's quite powerful.

Speaker 1 (01:14:19):
This Judaicara, you said, there was feelings of light. What
of the other?

Speaker 3 (01:14:33):
The other is vulcanar, the king of members.

Speaker 1 (01:14:38):
So fire then indeed, well, if you are finding a
spirit here, it would most likely be of the earth.
Fire and earth may have some contention.

Speaker 3 (01:15:03):
Adversity is a good way to bring people together, though
perhaps we can convince them.

Speaker 1 (01:15:10):
Perhaps good luck.

Speaker 9 (01:15:16):
So we're done, You're done. Everything's good.

Speaker 6 (01:15:20):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 3 (01:15:21):
We must follow the path, so to speak.

Speaker 4 (01:15:23):
Right, how do you see the path?

Speaker 1 (01:15:27):
Do you see it?

Speaker 4 (01:15:28):
We pointed in a direction? Do you have bread crumbs
flowing in a way? How do you know what to go?

Speaker 1 (01:15:33):
There's a look to the butterflies that have sort of
landed in the area. They're all sort of a similar color,
and you can kind of see them bo you'd be
able to see them too. Oh, they're there, But like enders,
I don't think. Yeah, they just be butterflies. You're not
like finding the path? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (01:15:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:15:55):
Is it clearer than normal?

Speaker 8 (01:15:57):
Hum.

Speaker 9 (01:16:02):
They also need to find a way to seek audience
with Queen. So journey.

Speaker 1 (01:16:09):
I will reach out to the council. I will let
them know and see if they may be able to
contact the Queen. I don't have means of contacting her directly,
but the council should. I will let them know of
what you seek, and perhaps by the time you return,

(01:16:32):
I will have some news.

Speaker 9 (01:16:36):
Your question, does she react to the cloak I'm wearing
at all?

Speaker 1 (01:16:41):
I know she's definitely looked at it.

Speaker 9 (01:16:44):
Yeah, okay, that's why I wasn't going to speak.

Speaker 1 (01:16:48):
As much, right, I think like she's been mostly focused
on like communicating with Aeryslet this is what you've noticed
for sure, It's definitely been an apparent thing, Like you
don't have to make a role for it. Well, if

(01:17:15):
that is all, you seem to be in a bit of.

Speaker 3 (01:17:19):
A rush time is of the us since I suppose
perhaps we will catch up when we return.

Speaker 4 (01:17:32):
Perhaps, all right, I suppose you see you all looking
at me, Fine, start to I guess I Is there
like a wide enough path actually in this place out
of town?

Speaker 1 (01:17:54):
I mean, yeah, there's there's like entrances and exits to
the town, but you can get like a rough idea
of where to go based on where the butterflies.

Speaker 4 (01:18:03):
Are, all right, in which case.

Speaker 1 (01:18:07):
You're on like one of the higher elevations here as well,
so like you can see more of the town from
where you.

Speaker 4 (01:18:12):
Are mm hmm, I'm still turned into a car.

Speaker 3 (01:18:17):
Oh boy, please don't kill the butterflies.

Speaker 1 (01:18:22):
I think. I think Silvara is like, what is happening,
like as soon as she sees bod beginning to transform.

Speaker 10 (01:18:32):
Oh, this is our Bogatti and I top the hood
reep beat.

Speaker 1 (01:18:39):
Is it a monster?

Speaker 6 (01:18:43):
No?

Speaker 7 (01:18:44):
Kind of.

Speaker 4 (01:18:48):
Yeah, we'll go with that anyway, Get in nuts, I've
always wanted to say that.

Speaker 1 (01:18:57):
Yeah. Rue immediately jumps into the driver's seat starts turning
the wheel like a little kid in the fucking plastic car.

Speaker 9 (01:19:06):
I'm not getting in because we're in a town and
maybe people, so I'll just there's.

Speaker 1 (01:19:12):
Definitely people so far as already like stood up and
is like backing away from this, like horrified.

Speaker 4 (01:19:22):
Please don't sit yourself with you.

Speaker 3 (01:19:25):
I'll walk with you for now. Perhaps when we get
out of town. This is a good idea.

Speaker 4 (01:19:33):
Fine, I say, And you see one of the chairs
that would have been for enders kind of like sink
into the Bogatti and then instead what comes out is
what looks like a propeller, and then I just go
fly to the town, sent to the to the perimeter
of town. So long, nuds, I'll say, out of town.

Speaker 12 (01:19:56):
Oh that is so cool.

Speaker 1 (01:19:59):
So Vara is just.

Speaker 8 (01:20:02):
Looking up.

Speaker 1 (01:20:03):
What have I gotten myself into?

Speaker 12 (01:20:06):
Isn't he remarkable?

Speaker 1 (01:20:09):
I don't know if that's the word I would use.
And Greg, Greg, you see, like the lead like Greg's
leaves like falling behind uh in the back of the
Bogatti uh As he's just like he's doing like the
roller coaster thing with his hands up the surpropeller, flopping

(01:20:30):
wet stuff all over.

Speaker 3 (01:20:32):
Oh no, why would.

Speaker 12 (01:20:35):
You do that?

Speaker 4 (01:20:36):
I under what I want to.

Speaker 1 (01:20:40):
So Bo like takes off and then like wristless and
enders just like quietly walk out. Yes, And so VARA's
kind of just like heroes. I didn't expect that. And
we switch scenes to a much colder place in both

(01:21:01):
temperament and in the environment of fay Lark, as we
find Moon looming over one of the adventurers that has
seemingly begun to bully one of the members of the

(01:21:27):
uh well, I guess the owner and some of the
other people in the establishment in this bar. M Moon, h.

Speaker 8 (01:21:40):
What do you do?

Speaker 1 (01:21:42):
Moon? What do you do? Hey?

Speaker 5 (01:21:48):
I asked nicely, I really think you guys should get
out of here, because again an I gesture at the kitchen.
You took my meal, and I'm very hungry.

Speaker 14 (01:22:02):
We didn't take your meal. We ordered the one for ourselves.
But since you are so insistent on provoking us, and
you can see like the three adventurers that are at
this table sort of look up to you, and they

(01:22:23):
begin to like probably rest hands on weapons, perhaps.

Speaker 9 (01:22:33):
You would like to.

Speaker 15 (01:22:35):
Have a conversation about it.

Speaker 5 (01:22:40):
When I look down a conversation with weapons, I'm guessing
that's fine, and I brandish broken revelry as well as
my shield. I'm a little hungry, but I'm certain we
don't have to disturb any of these people in here.
Could go outside if that's more.

Speaker 1 (01:23:01):
Convenient for you, fine, let's take this outside.

Speaker 5 (01:23:11):
And I just glare at all of them, and then
I look back at the kitchen.

Speaker 1 (01:23:18):
Yeah, everybody's paying attention to what's happening in the in
the bar here.

Speaker 5 (01:23:26):
Do they just go outside?

Speaker 7 (01:23:28):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (01:23:29):
Yeah, they're they're keeping an eye on you as they're
doing this, But yeah, absolutely, they they get up there,
they're all kind of smiling at each other like another
you know, they've got that look on their face like
another idiot felt for the rage bait.

Speaker 5 (01:23:47):
M hm hm, Okay, I watched them walk out and
I follow them.

Speaker 1 (01:23:54):
Yeah, they head outsides. Yep, they're immediately buffeted by the
wind and the cold. You can hear the people like
inside the the the tavern here just kind of uh.
They all like rush over to windows, and some of
them probably head outside as well to watch what's gonna happen.

Speaker 15 (01:24:21):
Another foolish one, what are you Where are you from?

Speaker 5 (01:24:29):
And I stand up a bit proudly, maybe a bit
too proud.

Speaker 16 (01:24:34):
I'm a diplomat from Koga.

Speaker 6 (01:24:38):
A.

Speaker 1 (01:24:41):
Diplomat.

Speaker 15 (01:24:45):
Yeah, I don't think I've ever thought that diplomat before.

Speaker 5 (01:24:51):
Yeah, I bet you probably haven't even bothered any nobody
with diplomatic tactics. So I and I kind of crack
my back. You know, it is tiring being a diplomat
trying to agree with everybody all the time. And I
and you can hear like.

Speaker 1 (01:25:11):
As I just oh, you're doing like the Bruce Lee
ship where you're just.

Speaker 5 (01:25:15):
Like yeah, like they're twisting in and out, and it's like, oh,
it's so tiring being so agreeable all the time. And
I like bend over backwards just like like Neo Matrix
style as I talked to them, wouldn't you say, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:25:36):
They kind of look at you and give me, tell
me insight and willpower open check.

Speaker 5 (01:25:43):
Yeah, insight and willpower.

Speaker 1 (01:25:53):
Oh okay, that's a three. So yeah. I think all
all three of them are kind of like readying their weapons,
like they're about to all fight you. At the same time,
I have no interest in being fair or anything. As
you're like warming up, they say, uh no, one never

(01:26:17):
told you the proper way to fight. Then, and they
lunge for you.

Speaker 5 (01:26:22):
And and as I'm doing like a lunge, I'm just like, oh.

Speaker 1 (01:26:28):
Yeah, as they do this, we are going to have
you make an initiative check here hold okay, yeah, please
go ahead and give me an initiative check.

Speaker 17 (01:26:44):
Okay, let's see seventeen.

Speaker 1 (01:26:57):
Shit, yeah, you're anticipating this. I don't know, but yeah,
you see them all like rushing towards you, and you
are able to get ready first what you do in.

Speaker 5 (01:27:09):
Oh okay, I'm glad. I can take my time there.

Speaker 4 (01:27:13):
Let's see.

Speaker 5 (01:27:16):
I kind of size them all up. And I look
at this first one here, who's who's the closest to me?
And he looks sad.

Speaker 9 (01:27:26):
I think it's he.

Speaker 5 (01:27:27):
I can't tell they're all really really really super yeah,
like you.

Speaker 1 (01:27:32):
Know of them are pretty hairy, and then like yeah
one of them, one of them is like the biggest
woman you've ever.

Speaker 5 (01:27:38):
Seen, like right, yeah right, still a bit her suit also,
so they all kind of blend in. I'm like, uh okay,
and one of them is running right at me. So
I just kind of stick broken revelry out and see
whether or not they just run right into my right
into my sword. I think that might be a hit.

Speaker 1 (01:27:57):
Yep, yep eighteen as they hit for sure, So.

Speaker 5 (01:28:05):
Its just kind of like sticking in their their rib
cage area like oh ah yeah and ah, and I
kind of shake the blood off, like sorry, it's a

(01:28:27):
little reaction.

Speaker 1 (01:28:29):
Yeah. There's like a crowd beginning to form outside buildings
and whatnot, people bundled up in various furs as they
watch this begin to take place.

Speaker 8 (01:28:41):
M hmm.

Speaker 1 (01:28:42):
And uh, I think the one that you just struck
is gonna go this veteran merch scenario will begin to

(01:29:03):
try to attack you. Uh do do do do?

Speaker 7 (01:29:06):
Do?

Speaker 1 (01:29:10):
Think they're gonna test you out to start things off.

Speaker 15 (01:29:15):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:29:16):
They have a broad axe and shield and of course
I forgot to add that so there will just say
the shield is still on their back. Yeah, they're gonna
strike out with a Actually this one will be a
war axe. Say they go for the war as they're

(01:29:41):
gonna rush towards you and swing with this war axe.

Speaker 6 (01:29:48):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:29:50):
Oh, it is a fourteen hit, which does in fact
hit for a whopping thirty two damage.

Speaker 7 (01:30:00):
Moon.

Speaker 1 (01:30:02):
Yeah, you raise up the shield and they kind of
like step sort of towards the side and change their
angle of attack, Like just as they're about to swing,
they lean sort of to the side and they come
up from the side and you feel that axe kind
of like take a chunk out of you as it
buries itself and it takes yeah, it takes thirty two

(01:30:31):
damage into you, and they swing and draw blood. Now
we are even and it is your turn.

Speaker 5 (01:30:43):
Oh and I sort of like stagger backwards like that's
just a scratch, and I stand up and this guy,
I'm guessing it's the same one that's right in front
of me. Man, I just cannot seem to shake it.
But is there emberstone nearby?

Speaker 1 (01:31:07):
Insight Insight, This is a roll check. Difficulty is twelve.

Speaker 5 (01:31:15):
Okay, because I just I feel like I'm I got
something going on. That's a twelve.

Speaker 18 (01:31:23):
Oh shit, okay, hold on, Oh boy.

Speaker 1 (01:31:36):
It's a really I think like a we see your
head just kind of like snap towards one direction, sort
of southeast and really far in the distance. You can
see I feel like your vision goes that way, and

(01:32:01):
it's it's a little bit just like you have a
feeling that some is that way, but it's far away.

Speaker 5 (01:32:11):
I'm gonna attempt to exit the battle. This is my
number one priority.

Speaker 1 (01:32:19):
Okay, so how do you attempt to do this?

Speaker 5 (01:32:26):
As soon as I become aware of this, it's almost
like a like a like a light that switched on
where you're like, oh, I, I I'm not certain. I
don't even know if I if I pay attention to
the to these dudes anymore, maybe maybe I just start
taking off quickly or attempt to take off super quickly,
like flee.

Speaker 1 (01:32:47):
You're just trying to straight up just run as fast
as you can. Yes, yeah, this is gonna be let
me just confirm here, but I'm pretty sure this is
night and night. Um yeah, I think this will just

(01:33:15):
be might and might because this is just pure sprint.
Uh No, this is not an open check. This is
gonna be a roll check and I think this is
gonna be difficulty twelve seventeen. Holy shit, I mean, Moon,

(01:33:38):
you take off like a fucking bullet. I mean you
look like you've seen bolt at the at the fucking
you know, at the at the beginning of a race,
just like I mean, uh, she fresh from battle? What
a cower? And uh yeah, they begin like chasing after you,

(01:33:58):
but you just start like leaving them in the dust.
I mean you're all wearing like heavy like you've got
heavy armor on. They have like really heavy armor and
like lots of furs and stuff, and you're running through
snow and shit, so like you're slipping, but it's just
like you're digging your fucking toes into the ground and

(01:34:19):
just propelling yourself forward with breakneck speed. You just start hurdling,
jumping over like docks and stuff. Yeah, there's like snow
that's like following you and shit, it's crazy. But yeah, moan,
you begin to take off. They're like chasing after you,

(01:34:40):
but you leave them in the dust very quickly, and
you just hear like co go like behind you as
you begin to rush off. I'm running.

Speaker 4 (01:34:52):
I'm still running.

Speaker 1 (01:34:56):
It doesn't take long for you to like leave town.
You're moving at breakneck speed and your uh, your you're
effectively your endurance is like really high, so you don't
even realize like how long you've been running. And you're

(01:35:16):
running it like full sprint through the snow, and you
can probably feel your muscles like burning a little bit.
But I'm gonna say with this, like seventeen you're I mean,
you're running like probably like the fastest you know, person
on Earth would be running, and that's not even your

(01:35:37):
top speed. You're hauling ass. Snow is flying up behind you,
and in the distance you can start to see there
is an Emberstone tower.

Speaker 6 (01:35:56):
Moon.

Speaker 1 (01:35:57):
As you continue to rush through the snow in the distance,
you can see an Emberstone tower and you feel that
lust and the thirst begin to grow stronger and stronger.

(01:36:17):
As you approach the tower, you can see that there
are a few lights on inside the tower. As you
approach near the coast, there's like a little i guess
a jetty that is protruding from the edge of the
coast here that the tower is sat upon. There's like

(01:36:42):
one person probably like leaning against the railing at the
base of the tower, and you can see that there's
a few lights, but you can sort of see that
pulse emanating from the tower as you begin to approach.

Speaker 5 (01:37:02):
I catch my breath a little bit, and I slowly
walk up to the tower.

Speaker 15 (01:37:15):
Hell, what business do you have here?

Speaker 5 (01:37:23):
I panic? Sorry, I I just got distracted by the
beauty of this thing.

Speaker 1 (01:37:34):
You know, all right, we'll be on your way then, yes,
of course.

Speaker 5 (01:37:43):
And I look for a way to get out of
eyesight of this person.

Speaker 1 (01:37:48):
Insight and insight. If you're looking at just stealth away,
you can do that. But I think the way you
phrase that said you were looking are you? Are you looking?
Or are you trying to be stealthy here?

Speaker 5 (01:38:05):
I'm not certain because where I am right now. I
know I need to get up there, but I also
need to circumnavigate this guard or oh no, I might
need to resort to other measures. I size him up
and down. How big is this dude?

Speaker 6 (01:38:23):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (01:38:24):
Pretty big? About the same size as those people you're
I'm fighting with.

Speaker 5 (01:38:29):
Is there anybody else around?

Speaker 1 (01:38:31):
There's definitely towers, Uh not towers lights inside the tower?

Speaker 5 (01:38:36):
Do I see anybody else?

Speaker 7 (01:38:39):
Not?

Speaker 16 (01:38:39):
Immediately I attempt to choke this guy out.

Speaker 1 (01:38:54):
All right, you're gonna rush up to this guy, or
are you trying to do this stealthily?

Speaker 5 (01:38:58):
I'm gonna try and do this stealth flee okay, decks
stealth as a six seven.

Speaker 1 (01:39:07):
Yeah this seal. Yeah, Decks decks difficulties fourteen.

Speaker 5 (01:39:11):
What okay, dex Deck's difficulties fourteen. I'm gonna nail this.
Have a good feeling. That's a ton that's a failure.

Speaker 6 (01:39:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:39:20):
You begin to uh try to find like a way
to get some sort of I don't know, like weird
angle on the sky to sneak up and choke them out.

Speaker 6 (01:39:36):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:39:36):
I imagine that maybe you just like slip on some
snow or some ice or rent. Yeah, and you make
a noise and immediately catches catches you do in this
draws a weapon and say saboteur, sabur.

Speaker 4 (01:39:49):
We have someone trying to shabo to the tower.

Speaker 1 (01:39:52):
Oh, draw weapons.

Speaker 5 (01:39:56):
Oh, my hands on my sword.

Speaker 1 (01:39:59):
But wait, I would like you to please make a
willpower a willpower check. The difficulty is fourteen.

Speaker 5 (01:40:14):
Oh no, oh no, oh, that's a two.

Speaker 9 (01:40:18):
That's a fumble.

Speaker 4 (01:40:25):
Oh no.

Speaker 16 (01:40:27):
And as I'm speaking, I'm just like, I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (01:40:30):
I mean, you become transfixed by the visible Emberstone with
each pulse released by this tower meant to hold back
the energies of the storm veiled rift. It feels like
it is in sync with your own body, the blood

(01:40:55):
pumping through your veins, your heartbeat mealies before you.

Speaker 5 (01:41:18):
I dropped my shield.

Speaker 1 (01:41:23):
Voices from the tower begin to grow louder, but to you, Moon,
they sort of fade into the background. I think in like,
we see this slow motion view of these veteran warriors
drawing weapons, and like they're like rushing towards Moon. But

(01:41:46):
like everything is in slow motion as this is happening.
What do you look like?

Speaker 9 (01:41:54):
Moon?

Speaker 5 (01:41:56):
I casually walk towards the tower.

Speaker 1 (01:42:02):
They rush towards you with weapons drawn, and they strike
with full force, looking to end your life. As we
see cracks beginning to form in the emberstone. As the

(01:42:26):
Emberstone begins to turn gaseous and head towards Moon Namran
no Iloma.

Speaker 7 (01:42:41):
They give me.

Speaker 12 (01:42:47):
To eat up your.
