Thank you. Enjoy as we follow this trail of butterflies,
(00:58):
and I apologize obs at the bed and destroyed my setup,
so I gotta change some some production shit real quick.
We find our party making their way through the forests
near Felisia. You are currently following a trail of butterflies,
and I imagine there's occasional like creaking of the trees
(01:23):
and stuff, And inherently I think it was just bo
and iris that participated in the ritual here. Yes, I
think it almost feels like.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
You're you're.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Hearing someone say that way, or it's just like a
vague translation that you kind of can hear in your head.
For this experience, the butterflies varying colors land on differ
from plants and rocks and such as you make your
(02:03):
way further into the forest, which kind.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Of leads you.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
First to the east and then further south, ultimately away
from Felicia. Iris, give me insight and insight please?
Speaker 3 (02:26):
What is the difficulty or would you like it?
Speaker 4 (02:27):
Open?
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Sixteen? Critical?
Speaker 5 (02:36):
Shit?
Speaker 6 (02:36):
All right?
Speaker 7 (02:37):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Okay? What would you like your opportunity to be? That's
a good way to start the session.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
I suppose what it could be? I mean, information would
probably be the most useful.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Okay, Iris, you have familiarity with this area. This area
would be where something important for you happened. What do
(03:17):
you think that was?
Speaker 8 (03:21):
This area here?
Speaker 1 (03:25):
You're probably a few miles outside Felisia, and it's south
and then or sorry, east and then south, so kind
of like an L shape almost.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
I think. Strangely enough, this is where I actually received
my first quest looking for Judikara. It was a random instance.
I hadn't heard of it previously.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
And when you received this quest, I imagine personally that
you received this from like something unorthodox. It wasn't just
like an NPC that gave it to you. How do
(04:13):
you think you received.
Speaker 5 (04:14):
This m.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
It wasn't an NPC? Then I suppose the first start
would have been in meditation, strangely enough, among the trees,
trying to listen to the spirits, enjoying it, enjoying the
(04:40):
song of the birds and what have you. And then
I saw a mode of light.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
I think when you get to this area, those feelings
are starting to crop up for you, beginning to reminisce
a little. Those feelings are strong, they're intense, feel like
you know you're reliving that moment, and instead of seeing light,
(05:13):
you're seeing these butterflies sort of move about, and you
can see evidence of change in this area. It's not
the same as it was when you initially found and
bonded with Judikara. This area is partially cut down, and
(05:47):
not by lumberjacks or like chainsaws. You don't see you know,
perfectly cut stumps of trees and whatnot behind. Instead, what
you see is broken trees.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
They're sort of a bit shattered, like part of the.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Part of the stump might remain, some branches might remain.
But as you make your way through here, those feelings
are coming up again, like this place, this is sort
of a discovery, but the feelings are different. It's not
quite right.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
Do you all sense that.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Do I.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
It's up to you.
Speaker 9 (06:47):
In a way.
Speaker 10 (06:48):
I guess.
Speaker 9 (06:53):
What what do you sense? Just just in.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
Case it feels like there's something wrong.
Speaker 6 (07:02):
Wrong?
Speaker 3 (07:07):
Yes, I can't quite put my finger on it, but
there's a foreboding feeling here.
Speaker 9 (07:22):
Should I go slower?
Speaker 3 (07:26):
Perhaps we should just be on guard.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
Okay, the butterflies stall in this area, and you hear
the boughs of the trees sort of creaking and the
bark sort of cracking on the trees that are still
(07:53):
left in this area. There are still animals about, and
it's still green, but there are remnants of things laying about.
It looks like there are fragments of different pieces of
machinery here.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
Machines, Yes, m.
Speaker 10 (08:31):
I didn't.
Speaker 9 (08:32):
What do you spend much time here? You know, back
when we were just gaming? I recool machine stuff happening
here in this pot.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
No, this is a very spiritual place that they do
a lot of things by their own hands typically. Does
this machinery look familiar to any of you?
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Anybody that wants to investigate this machinery, You could do
a group check if you'd like. Somebody can take the lead.
This will be inside and insight. This is difficulty twelve.
Speaker 10 (09:13):
Sure, why not open to a group check? A group check?
Speaker 7 (09:17):
I mean, if I'm the only one doing it, is
it I mean, it's just being rude or what?
Speaker 11 (09:24):
Well?
Speaker 3 (09:25):
I suppose it depends, like should some of us opt
out because it is not really from this region.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
It's up to you.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
You can just make the role if you want.
Speaker 10 (09:37):
Oh, I mean I don't have to do anything.
Speaker 7 (09:40):
I just thought you said you didn't you never saw
I'm saying he never saw it before.
Speaker 9 (09:44):
So it was more I said that I don't recall
this part of the world having much machinery.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
I'll opt out, But if you guys want to do it,
go for it.
Speaker 10 (09:58):
It's trying to.
Speaker 5 (09:58):
Help, so.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Said insight in what insight insight Insight will insight insight.
Speaker 10 (10:08):
Oh okay, this looks different now it's complete. This is
all fancy looking. What is it one of these easy?
Speaker 3 (10:18):
Normal?
Speaker 5 (10:19):
Hard, very hard.
Speaker 7 (10:20):
That's hilarious. Okay, I guess I'll manually change it the
twelve All right, support check? Okay, you said group check.
Speaker 10 (10:31):
Difficulty is twelve, yep, and support is ten.
Speaker 9 (10:43):
I rolled a nine for support. I ain't got nothing.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
Anybody else adding to this or is it just enders
and bo.
Speaker 12 (10:57):
I look distracted. There's an overwhelming number of things that
are distracting me. The smells, the sounds, little bugs moving around.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
I think that's it.
Speaker 13 (11:17):
Then, Okay, Nope.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
You don't recognize it. It's definitely foreign to this place
for sure, though.
Speaker 5 (11:34):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 9 (11:38):
What does it look like?
Speaker 1 (11:40):
It's sort of uh, probably like a tarnished bronze and
there's scraps, nothing substantial to give you a clue really
beyond that about what.
Speaker 14 (11:57):
It could be, right, But none of it looks active.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
There's no light, it's not like there's there's no not
like an engine block sitting on the on the ground here.
It's just kind of scraps of machinery. It's about all
you can figure out.
Speaker 9 (12:16):
So nothing is solid, no bits of red in it,
no ember stone. Okay, hmmm. Around where this wreckage is,
is the ground disturbed or they broken trees?
Speaker 4 (12:31):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (12:33):
Well maybe it crashed here.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
Does it look as though there's any sort of a
path beating any type of wave from where those where
the machinery is, like, perhaps it's scattered elsewhere further in.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
It doesn't. If there was it, it must have been
overtaken by the forest.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
A long time ago, and have the butterflies kind of
stopped here or are they continuing to lead?
Speaker 1 (13:05):
The butterflies have mostly stopped here, but there are a
few that begin to take off.
Speaker 9 (13:13):
I kind of like sidle around it. Wait, are you
guys riding me right now? Or we like on foot?
What's going on? What's the situation here?
Speaker 3 (13:24):
I think myself and enders were walking and the others
were using you as your bogatti.
Speaker 9 (13:31):
Right at the end of the last scene, I wasn't
sure if like now, like later on down that.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
Par your way into the forest. It's probably getting tricky
to keep using bow as your main source of transportation.
Speaker 9 (13:44):
I can fly, but if I do fly, I have
to have two less passengers. So I think what I've
done is I've just alighted everybody in which is on foot.
It might be for the best. So right now there's
nobody writing, Oh, just I have to like on tick
(14:05):
things here, oh my little sheet mm hmm. Okay. In
that case, I kind of sidle around with the scraps
are because I don't have great sight, but I'm trying
to feel around the area. Does it feel like a crater?
Speaker 3 (14:20):
It doesn't, Okay, So instead of some sort of crash.
It would kind of appear like some sort of a
scuffle happened here. Perhaps, are there any overwhelming odors?
Speaker 1 (14:40):
There are not smells like most of the rest of
the forest. I think you're getting the impression that, like
anything that did happen here happened a while ago.
Speaker 3 (14:53):
Are any of the pieces a size that we could
possibly put it in our inventory for sure? Perhaps we
can show this to someone, I mean, we are going
to be traveling. Hmm, maybe someone will know.
Speaker 9 (15:10):
I suppose we take that one that looks the biggest
and the rooniest, you know, the most identifiable.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
Yes, if there are any pieces that kind of paint
a bit more of a picture of what it might be,
you know, instead of just like a piece of scrap
that's just full metal. If there's anything that's a little
bit more identifying, that's probably what I'd be looking for.
Speaker 9 (15:32):
Take it to a full metal alchemist.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
Full metal alchemist.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
Yeah, I think, uh, yeah, there's nothing that's like I
guess there's it just looks like bits and pieces and
it doesn't look like anything substantial. You're gonna find stuff
that maybe is I don't know, maybe about the size
of your phone stuff like that.
Speaker 10 (16:00):
Hmm.
Speaker 9 (16:01):
I guess take a bunch a grab bag, like ten pieces.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
I would imagine that you probably can find, like, you know,
a few pounds worth of this stuff.
Speaker 3 (16:15):
Excellent, all right.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
All runs. I think for inventory purposes you can call
it a bronze scrap or something along those lines.
Speaker 9 (16:30):
Who's collecting?
Speaker 3 (16:34):
I mean, if you'd like to hold on to it,
you can.
Speaker 9 (16:37):
Are fine, I'll ride it into my character sheet.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
The track of it, butterflies, did they appear like they
were fleeing as in like kind of in a rush
or was it so continuing to lead us along? All right? Interesting?
Speaker 1 (17:00):
You will probably notice, however, like when you get here,
it feels like the spirits have kind of quieted down
a little bit.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
In this specific area. Yeah, can I try to go on?
Speaker 12 (17:17):
Do we see Greg reacting in any way?
Speaker 1 (17:21):
Great question. Greg is definitely not happy about this. As
you are looking around, I think you would find that
Greg is kind of like looking at some of the
stumps of the trees, and he's I imagine you would
(17:44):
just kind of like see him like his hand on
some of the stumps of these trees, and he's sort
of like moving slowly and being kind of inquisitive around them.
Speaker 12 (17:57):
I imagine the distraction that he suffered from will eventually
pull me towards him, and I sort of stoop down
and run my fingers through the grooves and the cracks
of whatever lay waste here, and I also begin to
investigate and fall behind.
Speaker 9 (18:16):
Yeah, he said that Greg seems upset.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
Yeah, he's not vocalizing it, but he's just kind of
like he's taking a moment. Essentially, you're just seeing him,
like trying to see what's happened here, and he just
doesn't seem hey, doesn't seem very good.
Speaker 9 (18:44):
I think I'll leave it then.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
And you said the spirits are quiet here? Does it
feel as though that there might be any to inquire
with it?
Speaker 15 (18:59):
All?
Speaker 1 (19:02):
You can always try.
Speaker 3 (19:05):
I'd like to try to find out what.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
Happened at least, how would you like to try?
Speaker 3 (19:12):
I suppose somewhat of a continuation of the ritual, if
that is all right, but obviously spending a little bit
more of my mana, I would take my staff and
the gems atop. It would begin to glow as I
carefully just place it down on the ground, and the
(19:33):
tendrils from the branches begin to branch out. And touch
the stumps. I'm not sure what sort of cost or
anything you'd like for that.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Yeah, so you'd have to do another ritual basically, of
course you want to do this, and this would be
another Arcanism ritual. And let's see uh again, just a reminder,
(20:11):
we do have the journals working again, so you can
pull those up if you need them. Mmm. I think
this is going to be a an individual and we'll
say that this is probably a minor potency. All right,
(20:35):
so this costs you twenty nine points of difficulty is seven.
Speaker 3 (20:45):
And it is willpower.
Speaker 15 (20:47):
Will power.
Speaker 1 (20:48):
I think you can click those buttons and chat now
for the man.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
That is a twelve success.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
Yeah, it takes It takes you a little bit, maybe
a minute or two of this ritual, and it's it's
probably a weird sensation because previously this ritual felt like
(21:16):
you were part of the forest. Almost the trees were swaying.
You could hear the you know, bark creaking, the trees creaking,
the branches swaying. You could feel a little bit of
what the forest feels and the wind blowing through the leaves.
And it's still there. It's just feels more distant and
(21:39):
It takes you a second to hear it, and eventually
you hear.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
I am it is the Metharus of Lisia with Ellen
John of.
Speaker 4 (22:09):
Fa Lisia. Why do you reach out to us?
Speaker 3 (22:21):
We see that something has gonna right here? Can you
tell us the story of what happened.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
This place? It was home many spirits, spirits of great wood,
(22:58):
the roots of temples reached even here. For the Wuiat
once came, they had no spirits to speak of, no
(23:29):
one to understand. They silenced many that.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
Day, many of only your kind were of my kind
as well.
Speaker 4 (24:02):
Of many.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
I see. Is there anything we can do to help you?
Speaker 4 (24:20):
We recover, as all things do in time.
Speaker 15 (24:33):
Very good?
Speaker 3 (24:38):
These quiet ones? Are you able to feel the material
that is on the ground here? And I'll tap my
foot a tiny bit, just so that there's a vibration.
Speaker 5 (24:53):
It does not speak.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
It is one of the quiet ones.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
I do not know. We cannot hear it.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
I see.
Speaker 4 (25:19):
Very well, our protector, do you know where they are?
Speaker 3 (25:33):
Silvara?
Speaker 1 (25:39):
You can all kind of like hear wind blowing through
the trees. Now, hear the bark creaking amongst the trees
in the distance, as even the woodland creatures around the
area here, begin to become louder.
Speaker 3 (26:06):
Yes, she will arrive soon. She's making preparations currently.
Speaker 4 (26:22):
We enjoy their talks. They spend great time with us.
Speaker 5 (26:41):
That is good.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
There are few that understand us like you and like her.
Where do you go?
Speaker 3 (27:12):
I seek the power of an economy? Do you know
of such a great spirit?
Speaker 4 (27:22):
They are everywhere in this world. They seek to bond.
Speaker 5 (27:38):
With those.
Speaker 4 (27:40):
That have great purpose. We can sense some that have
bonded to you. Indeed, there is one near.
Speaker 5 (28:17):
Do you seek it?
Speaker 3 (28:24):
I look to the others and then I nod.
Speaker 1 (28:35):
There's no response.
Speaker 5 (28:38):
Do you seek it?
Speaker 3 (28:43):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (28:52):
The spirits help?
Speaker 3 (29:02):
Thank you?
Speaker 4 (29:05):
You have great purpose. You are strange. All love you.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
We have heard that many times.
Speaker 4 (29:25):
You are.
Speaker 5 (29:30):
Of this place, and not.
Speaker 3 (29:46):
That is correct.
Speaker 4 (29:54):
We help sister Felisia, child of unknown.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (30:19):
When dies down a little bit and you can see
the butterflies begin to move again, I.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
Believe that is our cue.
Speaker 9 (30:34):
Okay, now where.
Speaker 1 (30:38):
To I assume you all are following the butterflies. Okay,
After maybe like twenty to thirty minutes more of trapesing
through these woods and following these butterflies, you come to
a grove. It is a large clearing here surrounded by
(31:06):
a ring of all different kinds of trees. It's immediately
telling you that this place is something different. You don't
need to make a roll. All of you can see
this because you would never really encounter this on accident.
(31:30):
Finding many different kinds of trees in this kind of
almost circular pattern here is indicative to each of you
that this place is special. In the center of this grove,
you can see that there are what appear to be
(31:53):
five stone plinths. They are rooted into the ground, literally
covered with roots, and as you approach it, you can
hear the sort of spirits bow and iris, rislyth sort
(32:22):
of getting louder, and it's something like.
Speaker 5 (32:34):
The wait.
Speaker 1 (32:39):
And I'll open my notes back up because those are
one of the things that I had to clothe. Sorry,
give me a second here, m hmm.
Speaker 5 (32:59):
Uh.
Speaker 16 (33:02):
Let's see.
Speaker 1 (33:07):
As you get closer, you hear.
Speaker 4 (33:13):
Only in harmony does the leader's voice rise above the.
Speaker 5 (33:21):
Din of war.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
There are five of these stones. Again, they are bases
covered in roots that are emerging from the ground. You
can see from a distance that they are covered in
some kind of writing that you can't make out from
(33:53):
where you are.
Speaker 3 (34:00):
Only in harmony does the leader's voice rise above the
din of war. I suppose I'll move closer to take
a look.
Speaker 9 (34:19):
Okay, I stay back, apprehensive and defensive.
Speaker 4 (34:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
You begin to approach, and as you get close, you
can make out what appears to be writing on each
of the stones. At first, it doesn't feel like something
(34:47):
you would understand, but you've experienced that before, and it
starts to make sense as you get closer. Bits and
pieces written on each of these stones. Please make me
(35:12):
an insight and insight check open check, IRUs, get another
crit Christ, Holy shit, Okay, got an opportunity. What would
(35:35):
you like to as you?
Speaker 15 (35:36):
Is this the main character? I don't want it to be.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
Let's see. I suppose more information.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
I figured as much. Uh okay, IRUs, It doesn't take
you long to sort of put together the different bits
of text on the stones. They're jumbled around a bit
and eventually, and I'll pace this for you in our discord.
(36:12):
You put together these sentences in silence begins wisdom. A
leader does not always whisper, and the roar of command
comes not first nor last. I assume the rest of
(36:42):
you are just watching Iris do this.
Speaker 9 (36:46):
M I am a distance away myself.
Speaker 7 (36:51):
I'm actually not watching. I'm going around and picking different
samples off the ground.
Speaker 16 (36:58):
Okay, try I'm fussing Greg.
Speaker 12 (37:04):
I can tell that there's something wrong with Greg and
it's troubling him, and he's not ready to talk about
it yet, so I'm just companionably, lingering close just in case.
Speaker 1 (37:17):
Yeah, okay, Greg seems probably interested in what seems to
be happening, but you can definitely tell something's up for sure.
Speaker 12 (37:26):
Hey, do you want to move closer? We can always
get a closer look Greg.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
About that points over towards Iris.
Speaker 15 (37:41):
Yeah, let's go.
Speaker 12 (37:43):
Come on and kind of like how a school teacher
would hurt a child, hands, kind of gently pushing.
Speaker 15 (37:50):
The shoulders from the back. I'll try to encourage him
and in there is less direction.
Speaker 1 (38:05):
As you begin to walk into the grove through along
with Greg, there is a I feel like a bit
of stirring underfoot.
Speaker 15 (38:25):
I lift up my boot and try to get a
good look at it.
Speaker 1 (38:29):
Okay, uh, we can open insight Insight.
Speaker 15 (38:39):
Fourteen.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
Something seems like it's moving under the ground, not close
to the surface.
Speaker 17 (38:53):
Hmm.
Speaker 12 (38:55):
I grab a nearby stick and I try to poke
at the ground wherever I see it move.
Speaker 1 (39:01):
Definitely, don't see it move, you feel it through small tremors.
Speaker 12 (39:07):
I will tap the stick then, yeah, mhm.
Speaker 1 (39:11):
Okay, uh, do me a favor and make an unarmed strike,
like an unarmed melee attack.
Speaker 3 (39:23):
Yeah, hit that ground, girl, get it.
Speaker 1 (39:26):
Okay, it's kind of tapped. Nothing seems to happen.
Speaker 18 (39:30):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 14 (39:34):
Erg do you feel that?
Speaker 15 (39:42):
Purse? My lips together and I shut up.
Speaker 1 (39:50):
A wristler. What are you doing?
Speaker 3 (40:00):
These plants have nothing other than the writing on them, right,
There's nothing that shows any sort of like anything was
supposed to be on top of them, or anything.
Speaker 8 (40:11):
Like any breakage.
Speaker 1 (40:13):
Okay, yeah it does. It's not like it doesn't look
like a pedestal. It doesn't have like a flat part
something to put in there. It doesn't look like there's
a jewel or anything that needs to be inserted. Doesn't
look like that.
Speaker 3 (40:28):
M I mean, I suppose this is some sort of riddle.
(40:49):
Are any of you any good at riddles?
Speaker 19 (40:52):
M hm?
Speaker 9 (40:53):
What riddle? I say?
Speaker 5 (40:55):
Off?
Speaker 6 (40:56):
What riddle?
Speaker 9 (40:57):
I shout?
Speaker 3 (40:59):
I'll begin reading all of the pillars to them.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
Sentences again are in discord.
Speaker 3 (41:10):
In silence begins wisdom? Is this one here?
Speaker 5 (41:16):
No?
Speaker 1 (41:16):
Five for the next there's five total, and this is
this was all spread out and you put it together. Iris.
Speaker 3 (41:22):
Ah, I see in silence begins wisdom. A leader does
not always whisper. The roar of command comes not first
nor last.
Speaker 9 (41:38):
I moved into the grove towards where Iris and uh
uh greg and rule up. And so you put those
three sense things together from five blocks.
Speaker 1 (41:55):
Is that what I heard?
Speaker 18 (41:58):
Mm?
Speaker 9 (41:58):
Hmm, okay, And I don't feel or sense anything either,
do I.
Speaker 1 (42:08):
You can make an insight and insight open check Okay, eight, Nope, nada.
Speaker 9 (42:19):
At twelve is the highest I could have rolled anyway.
Speaker 5 (42:23):
Hmm.
Speaker 15 (42:26):
Physically, are the plints identical?
Speaker 1 (42:30):
No, Uh, they look a little bit different. Some of
some of them are smaller than others.
Speaker 5 (42:36):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (42:38):
They're not like arranged by size or anything. They don't
have any you know, they've got like wear and tear
on them.
Speaker 2 (42:45):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (42:46):
You know some of them have like animal shit on them,
and you know, like there appears to be like uh.
The way that I'll phrase this just so to help
with the understanding of the words that were written. Iris
put together these words because otherwise they wouldn't have made sense,
(43:08):
Like as a structure of the letters and stuff, you know,
like of the actual like letters like this is iris
did this super fast mechanically because she got a correct.
Speaker 3 (43:21):
Was their brain kicked in?
Speaker 9 (43:22):
So we can't restructure them?
Speaker 1 (43:25):
Doesn't appear so, And they're rooted. It looked they're like
covered in roots on their bases, and they look they
sink into the ground.
Speaker 15 (43:33):
Okay, are they varying heights?
Speaker 4 (43:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (43:38):
Okay?
Speaker 12 (43:39):
How tall is the biggest one?
Speaker 1 (43:44):
Probably like four feet?
Speaker 7 (43:48):
Right?
Speaker 15 (43:49):
How short is the shortest one?
Speaker 1 (43:53):
Maybe like two and a half to three feet something
like that.
Speaker 15 (44:02):
Mm hmmm, I look deep in thought. They stare at.
Speaker 9 (44:09):
The rocks, but it's five rocks that make three sentences.
So I don't have the heights have anything to do
with what we have to do with them, right.
Speaker 15 (44:25):
M I poke one of the plints with a stick.
Speaker 1 (44:29):
Okay, uh, make an unarmed strike please? Oh okay, actually
it would be improvised. It's improvised. I think I added
those to each of your sheets as well. Yeah, you've
(44:53):
got improvised melee on your items page. Okay, we'll just
take that. Yeah, so you hit this fairly hard this time.
When you crack it, you'll notice that the stone seems
to make a noise, and it's just sort of a reverberation,
(45:23):
similar to the sound that the stick made when you
cracked it. And it's not the stone that you actually hit,
it's a different one.
Speaker 12 (45:40):
Holding the stick with both hands, I hold it up
in the air, almost as if I'm going to strike again.
Speaker 15 (45:46):
But I look over at Iris.
Speaker 12 (45:48):
I look like I'm going to start smacking some of
these rocks, these plants, trying to see what happens.
Speaker 3 (45:53):
But I pause, And this reaction is it only you
like a sound or is there any sort of like
a physical reaction.
Speaker 1 (46:05):
Yeah, it sounds like.
Speaker 3 (46:06):
A And if I touch another one, does it do anything?
Speaker 4 (46:17):
Nothing?
Speaker 3 (46:31):
Harmony? Only in harmony does the leader's voice rise above
the din of war? Perhaps they're notes? Try hitting another one?
Speaker 15 (46:43):
Rue, I smack another rock?
Speaker 1 (46:46):
Okay, Uh, make an improvised weapon strinth okay thirteen? Yeah, Uh,
the same stone which is different than the one that
you struck sort of m.
Speaker 5 (47:10):
Hm hm.
Speaker 9 (47:12):
So it's always the same stone making the noise.
Speaker 1 (47:15):
The same one that made the noise the first time. Different,
both were different than the ones that really struck.
Speaker 9 (47:26):
Okay, so there's only one stone that can make noise?
Speaker 3 (47:29):
What is it?
Speaker 9 (47:29):
What what what? What's on that stone? What does it read?
Speaker 1 (47:36):
Again? They each have a little bit of the text,
and Iris kind of had to put them together with
some of the words. It's that kind of a situation
where it's like part of a letter is on this stone,
and part of a letter is here. And Iris was
able to like look at them for like a minute
or something and kind of do that like weird brain
(47:58):
scramble where you like just mashed all the words together
and you made.
Speaker 9 (48:02):
Words reverse dyslexia. Okay, I'm gonna go ahead and make
the same noise as the rock and go hum.
Speaker 1 (48:10):
That rock also makes that noise.
Speaker 9 (48:15):
Okay. Then I take a deep breath or whatever it
is I do, and I just sustain that note for
as long as possible, and I kind of look at
the others and go hmm. And I'm trying to, like looking,
hoping that you harmonize with me.
Speaker 5 (48:29):
Hmm.
Speaker 3 (48:32):
If we hit any of the other stones, do they
make a different sound to that note that's been playing?
Speaker 1 (48:38):
Is that what you do?
Speaker 12 (48:40):
I start smacking a bunch of rocks, Yeah, randomly hitting them.
Speaker 1 (48:46):
None of the other ones make sounds.
Speaker 9 (48:52):
I would go blue in the faith, but I'm already blue,
Come on, harmonize with me. Hm, no, harmonize not the
same note. Have you ever had a barber shop before?
Speaker 1 (49:06):
Is that what you do?
Speaker 6 (49:06):
Iris?
Speaker 3 (49:07):
Yes, I try to harmonize.
Speaker 1 (49:09):
One of the other, one of the other stones, especially
when you hit that like super high screechy note whatever
that was. Yeah, it seems to vibrate as well at
that same like super high.
Speaker 3 (49:30):
I looked lower lower lower lower.
Speaker 10 (49:33):
Oh, I'm not in there, but you can call me
in as I and there.
Speaker 1 (49:41):
Like an armful of mushrooms, barber.
Speaker 9 (49:45):
Shop quartet, tenders, barber shop quartet.
Speaker 14 (49:48):
They're the low part mormonized.
Speaker 1 (50:00):
Another another stone basically starts to vibrate and it's very quiet.
Speaker 9 (50:08):
It's like a little Greg.
Speaker 1 (50:17):
But three of them are sort of making tone now
mm hmm. Okay, you look at Greg and what I Greg?
Speaker 9 (50:31):
Make that the lowest note? If you can just go
more and then or something hmmm, because I think maybe
perhaps that the stones are giving us the notes we
have to to make, right.
Speaker 20 (50:48):
So.
Speaker 1 (51:00):
Still only those three, Okay, we are on beat.
Speaker 3 (51:09):
Wait was it a differing in note or differing in
volume between the different plints?
Speaker 1 (51:19):
Sounded like volume.
Speaker 8 (51:21):
I scream.
Speaker 1 (51:24):
Really loud there's one of the stones hits that la
volume and like that note that iris hits and it's
it's it's like did you see birds like fly away?
And shit like grasp of.
Speaker 15 (51:37):
The clack like cracking, if if there were any here? Yeah,
I look down at the ground.
Speaker 12 (51:44):
Is there any difference, anything changing from the vibrations underneath us?
Speaker 1 (51:50):
Make an insight, open, Jack, please inside insight fifteen Huh
when the uh? When the plinths are making those sounds,
it seems that the earth feels more disturbed below.
Speaker 10 (52:09):
You M what are we actually doing here? Honestly?
Speaker 7 (52:14):
And I'm setting down all my stuff neatly organizing them.
Speaker 3 (52:21):
Only in harmony does the leader's voice rise upon above
the din of war, and silence begins wisdom. A leader
does not always whisper, and the roar of command comes
not first nor last to catch you up.
Speaker 7 (52:34):
Oh well, you making a horrible noise nor offense should
go second?
Speaker 5 (52:45):
Uh?
Speaker 10 (52:46):
I think Bow you are the second and loudest. You
go first. I'll go last, and Rue you.
Speaker 7 (52:55):
Smack your stick on whatever you were smacking your stick on,
and pay attention to whatever's happening beneath you had in
the bag. Greg, thank you, and I'm like scooping all
my stuff in the backs. All right, bo you start
okay mmmm okay screechy, and then.
Speaker 10 (53:20):
I'll follow them scene.
Speaker 7 (53:24):
I'll queue Rue beating on the stones.
Speaker 1 (53:26):
Yeah, those same stones begin to make sound. Rue is
just you're smacking away. Still only the three.
Speaker 7 (53:34):
Okay, it's only the three. You haven't been resonating the
whole time. Oh yeah, a three three centsus his three.
You have to continue this, but we probably need to
start lower, build louder as ares Lith does her thing,
(53:54):
and we try to reach the same temple as she
reaches up she's going to.
Speaker 3 (54:01):
Yeah, should perhaps be hum at one point because it
talks of whispering.
Speaker 9 (54:09):
I think maybe there ye Zenders is saying that should
only be three people in total, because there's three commands.
But maybe the first one is the quietest because it
says in silence begins wisdom.
Speaker 1 (54:23):
Right.
Speaker 7 (54:24):
M oh, that's and then that would be now if
we did that, No one's we're not anything.
Speaker 9 (54:31):
But we're not like being musical, being like soundy about it.
We're just talking like.
Speaker 7 (54:37):
M maybe but looking at these stones, hm hmm, Well,
sentences you put together says the leaders does not always whisper.
The warmed man comes first to lass or leaders give commands. Yes,
m it's not go first, it's not go last. You
definitely would have to go oh, not first and Lass,
(55:00):
And in silence begins wisdom. How do we make all
this aching noise remain silent and see what happens? At
least that's how it reads me. And I'm completely not
fully focused. I'm looking at things because I'm uphold at
what this forest has, ingredients I've never seen before and stuff,
(55:23):
and I'm just like, in all.
Speaker 9 (55:26):
I think you're right. It might be mid loud then quiet, right.
Speaker 7 (55:29):
Yes, that's what I would assume. We start off quiet,
nothing's happening, so we go the honors.
Speaker 10 (55:38):
I pluck a leaf from Greg.
Speaker 1 (55:39):
Either way, I'm totally stealing what Brad does for puzzles
in that at any time, if you would like to
make a character role to try and you know, use
your character's intelligence or what have you to discover a
new step to a riddle, you can. But there is
(56:01):
a cost.
Speaker 9 (56:02):
Hmmm, I would like to try something.
Speaker 15 (56:05):
It WAC just suddenly told us that we're way off.
Speaker 14 (56:07):
Yeah, that we freaking sun.
Speaker 15 (56:09):
We're bad at puzzles.
Speaker 1 (56:11):
I mean, I'm bad at making puzzles.
Speaker 9 (56:15):
I would still like to try something. Did I also
feel the ground shake or move when we did the
first time?
Speaker 1 (56:23):
Uh so No, Rue specifically was looking to see if
something was disturbing. And by the way, uh yeah, and
I already addressed that last role.
Speaker 9 (56:32):
Yeah, okay, So so doing all this, only Rue felt
the earth within the grove shift.
Speaker 10 (56:40):
Okay, in mine, we don't have any imagery for this
or I like what we're looking at.
Speaker 1 (56:48):
It's just.
Speaker 3 (56:51):
Okay, so it's only the three that have started reverberating.
Speaker 14 (56:57):
We still have the two.
Speaker 12 (57:00):
Right, Does anything happen if I lick the rocks?
Speaker 1 (57:08):
I would have expected to get that question from Bow,
But no, they taste like you'd imagine, like stone, and
that's covered in various forests flavoring.
Speaker 12 (57:28):
I'm in the background coughing up dirt and take out
a ration and I'm just rubbing stuff on my tongue
trying to get the taste out.
Speaker 5 (57:37):
M hm.
Speaker 7 (57:40):
Oh, so we give it a go and no, okay, yes,
but yeah, well we also need to harmonize our end,
I would think, and just have a stopping at random
points set.
Speaker 10 (57:52):
Okay, So give it a.
Speaker 9 (57:54):
Count and the one and the two and the one.
Speaker 10 (57:59):
That's a good eye.
Speaker 5 (58:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (58:00):
Actually, but you're an account in your head to in
maybe ten seconds. Eight five What would it be ending
on during the harmonizing part?
Speaker 9 (58:11):
Oh five? How about I just changed shape become cylindrical
when it's time to stop.
Speaker 10 (58:24):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (58:28):
I mean anders, do you want to just or you
could give some sort of hand signal, yes, for when
one of us should come in.
Speaker 10 (58:33):
Oh, yes, I can do that.
Speaker 7 (58:37):
As I put down all my lovely stuff, I sow
no emotions.
Speaker 10 (58:43):
I can't be like, oh, all right.
Speaker 7 (58:46):
Okay, I'll drop my hands. I'll point to each twenty
to start ten, all right ready, and I point the bow.
Speaker 17 (58:59):
M hmm.
Speaker 1 (59:02):
There's only the three and then a fourth stone begins,
like I imagine. It has a tone that is sort
(59:27):
of fairly quiet. You didn't hear it until afterwards. M
hm m hm hm mm hmmm, and then it stops.
Speaker 10 (59:47):
Oh that's new mm hmm.
Speaker 15 (59:52):
I put my ear to the ground.
Speaker 1 (59:55):
Yeah, like when all four stones, uh were one three
of them because it was three and then the fourth
one must have been happening at the same time. Then
you didn't notice it because it was so quiet. But rue,
make another insight insight open check. Okay, the ten is
(01:00:21):
all that's needed. The earth was definitely stirring more.
Speaker 12 (01:00:25):
Ru oooh, whatever you're doing, it's working. The ground is
shaking a little bit.
Speaker 9 (01:00:32):
It's shaking mm hmmm, just around it.
Speaker 15 (01:00:38):
It's not one centralized place. It's moving around.
Speaker 9 (01:00:42):
Is this place.
Speaker 1 (01:00:45):
The gross So it's it's kind of flat ish. It's
flatter than most of the rest of the forest that
you've been in. There's uh, mostly dirt. There's a few
leaves here and there. It's not extremely overgrownd. There's not
a lot of flora around in this grove. In particular,
(01:01:07):
it's very sparse in this grove.
Speaker 3 (01:01:10):
Okay, hmm, well what are we missing?
Speaker 17 (01:01:17):
Then?
Speaker 7 (01:01:19):
Oh there was another sound. We just need another one
to harmonize with us.
Speaker 15 (01:01:27):
I would guess I'd like to use my in character brain.
Speaker 1 (01:01:32):
Okay, yeah, this will be insight and insight and the
difficulty is going to be twelve.
Speaker 5 (01:01:42):
Kay.
Speaker 12 (01:01:47):
Oh, may I reroll that?
Speaker 15 (01:01:50):
Please?
Speaker 1 (01:01:53):
Why?
Speaker 10 (01:01:59):
No, what you bring to the table?
Speaker 1 (01:02:03):
What is the what are you using to reroll that?
Speaker 15 (01:02:07):
Okay? I would like to invoke.
Speaker 12 (01:02:17):
My identity of slick opportunists.
Speaker 1 (01:02:21):
Uh, I'm gonna have to try to justify that one
to make because I'm.
Speaker 12 (01:02:25):
Not Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 15 (01:02:30):
We are in need of allies.
Speaker 12 (01:02:32):
We're up against him Cross and god knows what else,
possibly even the Valkyrie, and.
Speaker 15 (01:02:39):
It's clear that we need to level up.
Speaker 12 (01:02:41):
We are not on the same playing field as these
other entities, and there's something out here that wants to
find Iris, that is open to finding Iris.
Speaker 15 (01:02:55):
So I'm willing to go the extra.
Speaker 12 (01:02:58):
Mile here to make sure that my can canion and
get what they need.
Speaker 15 (01:03:05):
Book is a way.
Speaker 9 (01:03:16):
You're ruined it for us?
Speaker 14 (01:03:17):
All what prints in the ground?
Speaker 15 (01:03:22):
Do The rocks make different noise? But I started hitting
them with my mummy and Milky's take.
Speaker 14 (01:03:27):
Want it and flop it out?
Speaker 1 (01:03:29):
That meme trying to crush the watermelon.
Speaker 15 (01:03:32):
Oh my god, you say it clues I get a migraine.
Speaker 9 (01:03:39):
Comes in the cost?
Speaker 10 (01:03:41):
That's correct, all right?
Speaker 1 (01:03:44):
No, let's gidd your fabula point is gone?
Speaker 18 (01:03:48):
You?
Speaker 9 (01:03:51):
Is that the cost?
Speaker 15 (01:03:52):
I had to use one to invoke the wait now,
but I will still use it up.
Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
Only you wouldn't spend it just because it wasn't justified.
But I'm forcing you to spend it right now.
Speaker 15 (01:04:09):
Hey, I only have one left.
Speaker 10 (01:04:11):
I believe we're almost there. We just need a fourth now,
and I'll go up and look at Greg.
Speaker 7 (01:04:19):
Actually, when I look at Greg, I look at everyone
else and look dumbfounded and say, has anyone asked Greg
anything about this?
Speaker 10 (01:04:30):
I mean, be sure he's native to all of this?
Speaker 9 (01:04:36):
Greg, what is this thing?
Speaker 10 (01:04:38):
Oh?
Speaker 18 (01:04:38):
What the speak to him?
Speaker 1 (01:04:46):
Yeah? Greg says, I don't know, man, there's stones.
Speaker 15 (01:04:51):
He doesn't know.
Speaker 9 (01:04:52):
Man, there's stones. There's you know stones here stones there?
Those are stones too, apparently.
Speaker 10 (01:04:59):
Right, Well, they might try.
Speaker 9 (01:05:07):
Can I try and use my character brain? No, I
guess membrane.
Speaker 3 (01:05:13):
Wait before we do that, Rue, were you hitting the
stones while we were singing?
Speaker 12 (01:05:24):
Yes and no, because we've done multiple rounds of it. Now, well,
there the last one I didn't hit.
Speaker 1 (01:05:30):
So, just because we don't have a visual, let me
assist you with this. The stone that uh made noise
is the same one that made noise when you began
uh shrieking. Iris.
Speaker 8 (01:05:50):
I see.
Speaker 3 (01:05:52):
Well, the reason I'm interjecting here is simply because what
we were told by the spirit was only in harmony.
Does the leader's voice rise above the din of war?
Dinn is like a loud, obnoxious sound. It's like like clattering.
So what I'm thinking here, just to try to bring
it all together is maybe maybe Rue, you need to
(01:06:13):
hit stuff while we sing, but we have to do
the same harmony.
Speaker 10 (01:06:17):
I asked her to do it that earlier, so I mean,
I don't know if it was heard by the riddle master.
Speaker 1 (01:06:26):
I did hear it, okay, Oh so they did.
Speaker 14 (01:06:30):
We all did it at the same time.
Speaker 10 (01:06:31):
That was the first thing I asked to do when
I came in.
Speaker 14 (01:06:34):
Yeah, okay, I just didn't hear that.
Speaker 5 (01:06:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:06:36):
I cued her into smack on on stuff and he's like,
nothing's happening. Wait, it's okay. I know we keep asking
the same question, but I'm trying to visualize this because
I'm hearing two different things when all three of us
are harmonizing differently, there's three different rocks making the noise
only one.
Speaker 1 (01:06:55):
So this last time you heard a fourth one and
you only heard it after everybody stopped.
Speaker 10 (01:07:00):
So three were going and then after everyone stop the
fourth one win.
Speaker 9 (01:07:04):
You think, So, are you also taking into account DM
the group's clear lack of musical acumen here, like we're
not harmonizing, okay, all right? And is that part of
the reason why we're not getting is done.
Speaker 1 (01:07:18):
I would not have expected the group to perfectly harmonize
for a puzzle. That's what I was definitely not right.
I think I am some sort of sociopath. As hilarious
as it would be to watch you all just try
to harmonize for an entire episode, I would do that
(01:07:39):
to you.
Speaker 9 (01:07:40):
It's like a party of cats in here.
Speaker 14 (01:07:41):
Geez.
Speaker 10 (01:07:44):
Do the stones do anything else, like light up or
anything when this is happening?
Speaker 4 (01:07:48):
They just vibrate with a tone.
Speaker 7 (01:07:54):
The only other thought I can bring up is we
get close together. M Please don't take this out of context.
Speaker 8 (01:08:03):
Bo.
Speaker 10 (01:08:04):
You stick your pseudo pod deep into the earth.
Speaker 7 (01:08:08):
Why we all touch well, if we can harmonize and vibrate,
maybe we can make it go in. Since throu said
the ground is reacting, maybe we can strengthen it.
Speaker 9 (01:08:21):
Do you want me to go into the ground and
see what's down there?
Speaker 7 (01:08:23):
No, so we can do that pseudopod in there, whatever
long apparatus you can step into the earth.
Speaker 15 (01:08:32):
I have an idea.
Speaker 10 (01:08:34):
Run out of context.
Speaker 15 (01:08:36):
I grab the stick with both hands. I hit one
of you.
Speaker 10 (01:08:41):
I looked at the others.
Speaker 14 (01:08:44):
Gently.
Speaker 1 (01:08:44):
Greg takes a step back.
Speaker 9 (01:08:49):
I'll just say why and shuffle backwards.
Speaker 15 (01:08:52):
Maybe maybe violence is part of the equation here.
Speaker 12 (01:08:58):
Hitting the rock itself isn't exist exactly what needs to
be done, or maybe we need to fight.
Speaker 9 (01:09:06):
Well about just hitting your weapons together, like you know, crashing.
Speaker 10 (01:09:09):
Yes, that's what you should do. You have to daggers
or not taggers, but chackrums.
Speaker 12 (01:09:17):
You see me kind of shuffle a little bit where
I'm standing adjusting my grip on the stick. It looks
like I want to hit somebody. Fine, I dropped the
stick and I start making my bladd.
Speaker 10 (01:09:34):
Wait a minute, gives us a puzzle, and.
Speaker 15 (01:09:41):
You start scissoring.
Speaker 14 (01:09:42):
That's how the show goes.
Speaker 1 (01:09:43):
Let's penetrate the ground starts scissoring circular right, they're sure
he can.
Speaker 10 (01:09:53):
Oh, you just need to bang fower.
Speaker 15 (01:09:56):
Okay, banging them to together. Do anything happened.
Speaker 1 (01:10:02):
That's not gonna be Yeah, the same the same stone
that seemed to react to Erysolith's shrieking.
Speaker 9 (01:10:14):
So the initiation's done again, and it's.
Speaker 1 (01:10:17):
Loud by the way, that one's super loud.
Speaker 7 (01:10:19):
Okay, well that makes sense. There's your inn So now
you need to mimic the others. Maybe you can go
quiet and quieter. I can do quieter. Maybe you can
do the middle sound.
Speaker 14 (01:10:33):
Obviously maybe.
Speaker 3 (01:10:36):
And you're saying so my brain is having such a
hard time visualizing. You're saying that the same note that
I had, like what I had triggered, is being triggered
by the same stone.
Speaker 7 (01:10:48):
Okay, classy, which you said, all of this has been
done during what was it the dinner war?
Speaker 5 (01:10:57):
M m hmm.
Speaker 10 (01:10:59):
This is starting to make some sense.
Speaker 9 (01:11:01):
It does seem like silence after the noise also makes
a sound from the rocks too, which we just proved
from the last one as well. So okay, whack.
Speaker 12 (01:11:11):
Can I just give you a fabulous point and you
can tell us if we're getting hotter or colder.
Speaker 1 (01:11:18):
You can. You can definitely use your in character shit
to uh make things easier if you would Like's all right,
you're doing it? Yeah, okay? Uh, Greg will pipe up
(01:11:43):
and say.
Speaker 16 (01:11:48):
We're in a forest surrounded by spirits. That feels like
the only thing that's missing the voice of the spirits.
Speaker 9 (01:12:04):
Someone has to die.
Speaker 20 (01:12:04):
Greg, huh no, oh okay, but the forest makes like
a chorus, right, Okay, there's.
Speaker 16 (01:12:20):
Well, I don't know when Iris was talking to the spirits,
she sort of did like a a ritual thing, right,
mm hmm. Well when she does that, she was sort of,
I don't know, it was sort of sort of like
(01:12:42):
a rhythm to it.
Speaker 9 (01:12:45):
Mm hmm. Okay, so you're not gonna jiggle and make
forest sounds with your branches.
Speaker 4 (01:12:54):
Don't I just do that?
Speaker 1 (01:12:55):
Anyway?
Speaker 9 (01:12:57):
I suppose maybe I just turned to iris and I go.
Greg says that, well, something that's missing is the spirits
portion of it. I guess, so, he guesses, So maybe
perhaps you've got to try and call for the spirits
(01:13:17):
and that might do it. So we were almost there,
but perhaps inside it. Have you ever watched Dragon Ball? Yes,
all right, well call for Enron and maybe perhaps that's
the last element of it, as your voice going through
the din going, I'd summon you great spirits should be
(01:13:39):
the last thing, right?
Speaker 3 (01:13:40):
Does he think that the spirits of the forest?
Speaker 14 (01:13:43):
Does he think one of my econum?
Speaker 2 (01:13:45):
Maybe?
Speaker 16 (01:13:47):
Ask Greg?
Speaker 15 (01:13:52):
Say please please?
Speaker 16 (01:13:54):
You know that I can understand her, right, it's just
why I understand me.
Speaker 9 (01:13:59):
Well exactly, which is why you know you help me
out here.
Speaker 1 (01:14:05):
I think it's pretty funny.
Speaker 9 (01:14:07):
I'm sure. Look we have an audience or anything, Greg,
what do you think is he right?
Speaker 1 (01:14:15):
I don't know. I'm just guessing.
Speaker 9 (01:14:17):
Why, But do you think she's on the money?
Speaker 1 (01:14:20):
I don't know, I'm just guessing.
Speaker 9 (01:14:24):
Right, But do you think her guess is at least
a little bit valid?
Speaker 1 (01:14:29):
I don't know. I'm just guessing. Why don't you try it?
Speaker 9 (01:14:33):
How about we try it? Iris?
Speaker 6 (01:14:35):
What do we have to lose?
Speaker 3 (01:14:37):
Summoning my oconom not your?
Speaker 9 (01:14:40):
I mean maybe or just you know how you summon arcanum?
Speaker 8 (01:14:45):
Right?
Speaker 9 (01:14:46):
Mm hmm, Well, don't summon any economy you have instead.
I don't know how you do it, but like, maybe
just go I summon you ourcanum who is here?
Speaker 10 (01:14:55):
I don't know.
Speaker 8 (01:14:56):
Oh no, that is a great idea.
Speaker 3 (01:15:00):
It's it's just doing a final calling. I would say, right, right,
right right, yes. I am gonna in case anything happens,
just to clarify, I'm gonna drink in a lick, sir,
specifically because if I summon some shit and we get
(01:15:21):
into a fight or something, I want to make sure
I'm okay. So I'm gonna drink my my potion and
then I'm gonna breathe in deeply, and similarly to before,
I'm going to go ahead and take my staff and
put the end of it. That's all the bramble and
(01:15:42):
branches on the ground, and the top of the staff
will begin to light up as the as the branches
extend from the bottom of it, allowing the crystal to
float in the air. And I'm going to go ahead
and attempt to call forth whatever spirit is here to
(01:16:06):
try and help us.
Speaker 1 (01:16:07):
Wait.
Speaker 9 (01:16:07):
No, that's the last part of the thing. We have
to hum and stuff and then you call.
Speaker 14 (01:16:13):
Right, well, I it's a ractual. Let's get singing.
Speaker 9 (01:16:17):
Okay, I look to enders. How does it go again?
Speaker 10 (01:16:24):
I put down my stuff again? Which part the beginning?
Speaker 9 (01:16:29):
I don't know.
Speaker 15 (01:16:31):
Oh, I try to steal under stuff while he's easy.
Speaker 3 (01:16:35):
Slap hands and just put it in your inventory.
Speaker 15 (01:16:38):
What are you doing?
Speaker 7 (01:16:39):
I'm categorizing it, And I will point to bow and
say you will go first, clattering of your not now,
slattering of your colonies, clattering of your whatever that was,
and then I will go. Then we will stop together
(01:17:02):
while you're doing your mm hmm stuff with your staff. Okay, okay, ready,
right now, you boeing, cure banging.
Speaker 5 (01:17:20):
And then.
Speaker 7 (01:17:26):
Instead of completely cut it off, I'll lower it to
where it goes down to a whisper we all look at.
Speaker 1 (01:17:35):
And we'll all look towards our stones to begin to.
Speaker 10 (01:17:46):
As we're holding our.
Speaker 3 (01:17:47):
Breath, mite, I will begin to try to summon the
creature that is that is here, hopefully the spirit of
your column, if it is in this exact place, to try.
Speaker 18 (01:17:59):
And with us.
Speaker 10 (01:18:02):
How do you do that sing to a girl.
Speaker 15 (01:18:11):
While they're singing.
Speaker 3 (01:18:12):
I suppose I'll just begin singing a melody that kind
of flows through it, weaving it a little bit more
beautifully than my screaming before.
Speaker 15 (01:18:23):
And I am attempting with all of.
Speaker 3 (01:18:28):
The spiritual energy that I have, all of the connection
that I have to my bloodline and too these lands,
to try to call forth the arconom that I seek
to help us in this song and to help us
in our future war.
Speaker 1 (01:18:49):
Melody changes and begins to sound like chanting, similar to
when Iris was calling forth a spirit.
Speaker 4 (01:19:03):
And as.
Speaker 1 (01:19:10):
The chanting begins, fifth stone sort of pulses with a rhythm,
and in rhythm with this last stone, the forest stills.
(01:19:34):
Last echo of the ritual fades, and all around you
the ancient trees lean as though bowing to something vast
and terrible. The air grows heavy, and every leaf begins
to tremble from the heart of the clearing. Golden cracks
(01:20:05):
spread across the ground like lightning through stone. The sound
of a thunderclap shakes the air, and with it, from
the ground rises a colossal figure, a lion shaped beast
(01:20:29):
clad in spectral plate that gleams with sunlight. Its mane
is not hair, but it seems to be a storm
of energy. Golden massive wings of light and shadow unfurl
(01:20:54):
from its back, and it shakes the canopy with a
gust of air. Its eyes, like suns behind a visor
of iron, fix upon you, and you can all feel
(01:21:19):
yourselves almost buckle. This is no mere beast. It is
a presence that demand's obedience. It radiates valor and a
crushing expectation of conquest. Its voice resounds within your bones.
Speaker 5 (01:21:49):
Ooh, among you, to summon lost a rack, the iron
clad sovereign, who among you dares to bear the weight
of a crowd and the burden of the blade.
Speaker 1 (01:22:10):
She did it?
Speaker 15 (01:22:13):
Mind you?
Speaker 1 (01:22:18):
You feel this gaze fixed upon you. Begins to march
towards Eryslith, and as the trees that are still sort
of bowing inwards begin to shake, leaves begin to tremble
(01:22:49):
and move in this wind. There's this breeze that is
moving through all of the trees ease. It sounds like
when you were communing with the spirits, but it is
much louder. And as this lion like creature moves towards Rislith.
Speaker 4 (01:23:26):
You, the spirits have heard your voice. You bear other
aconom Why do you seek me?
Speaker 3 (01:23:48):
The land in its entirety, all over Gaulia, including the
realm of Spirits, are in danger, brave danger, and we
request your help in order to try and combat this danger.
Speaker 8 (01:24:08):
Request I straighten up, demand.
Speaker 10 (01:24:24):
It, King Irish.
Speaker 1 (01:24:26):
It's just sort of like it positions itself to lean
in towards you, and it gives you this stern look
directly in your eyes.
Speaker 5 (01:24:38):
I do not believe you one that is fear of
this place, but not.
Speaker 3 (01:24:54):
You do not have the courage, and perhaps let us
show you.
Speaker 5 (01:25:08):
You challenge me.
Speaker 16 (01:25:11):
Me.
Speaker 3 (01:25:18):
I don't break eye contact.
Speaker 1 (01:25:22):
Uh willpower, willpower? Please open check?
Speaker 9 (01:25:28):
She said her right now, Willian kids, I'll take you
twenty three.
Speaker 1 (01:25:34):
Okay, Uh yeah, you don't break eye contact.
Speaker 2 (01:25:37):
Irish.
Speaker 1 (01:25:37):
You stand strong. There is no quaver in your voice.
There's no uh shaking or trembling in your body.
Speaker 10 (01:25:45):
Uh, and.
Speaker 1 (01:25:51):
This creature looks towards you.
Speaker 5 (01:25:55):
Very well, child, We shall see if your bravery.
Speaker 2 (01:26:02):
Indoors and it.
Speaker 1 (01:26:07):
Leaves towards Eryslith as we change scenes, good luck were
much colder place.
Speaker 10 (01:26:25):
Moon.
Speaker 2 (01:26:31):
You have begun.
Speaker 1 (01:26:36):
To try to absorb the Emberstone tower near sphel Ark.
As mentioned last session, there was a contingent of guards
here that are sort of like freaking out that you've
(01:26:57):
kind of antagonized as you approach this tower, and you
can see that part of the Emberstone, this large crystal
atop the tower, begins to form cracks and parts of
it begin to turn to a gas and head your way.
(01:27:21):
There are several guards around this tower.
Speaker 10 (01:27:26):
What do you do?
Speaker 14 (01:27:29):
I just kind of stand there, m and I just
breathe it in. Yes, okay, so hungry.
Speaker 1 (01:27:42):
Very well. Then I think we're gonna go here and
we are going to initiate some combat.
Speaker 14 (01:27:58):
Fun mm.
Speaker 1 (01:28:01):
Let's see several of the guards on the tower begin
rushing towards you, Moon, four that you can see begin
rushing your way.
Speaker 2 (01:28:14):
Let's get a visual here.
Speaker 1 (01:28:19):
OKAYM add them to the combat and let's have you
do initiative, please, Moon.
Speaker 14 (01:28:39):
I see these guys running at me, and I kind
of I snap out of it.
Speaker 17 (01:28:45):
Oh oh, and then I start to roll initiative because
I realize we're going into battle. Let me.
Speaker 14 (01:28:57):
Make sure I'm doing the right thing. Okay, Initiative eighteen.
Speaker 1 (01:29:08):
Shit, yeah, you go first, I go first. Are you
going to simply sit and let the emberstone this gas
come to you? Is that what the plan is here?
Speaker 17 (01:29:18):
Oh?
Speaker 14 (01:29:19):
I'm not sure what my plan is right now. I'm
off two mindsets.
Speaker 17 (01:29:21):
One is that I really want this Emberstone, and the
other is that, well, I'm actually gonna have to fight
these guys, so I'm sort of fighting off this like
this hunger, which is right there, but I'm sort of
trying to save that off right now.
Speaker 14 (01:29:35):
So if they want to fight, we can fight.
Speaker 1 (01:29:40):
Oki Doki. They're definitely rushing towards you. They look pissed off.
Speaker 6 (01:29:45):
Okay, what is she doing to the tower? The numberstone
is crooking.
Speaker 14 (01:29:56):
I'm going to charge up a powerful blast.
Speaker 1 (01:30:03):
Okay, and this uh powerful blast?
Speaker 2 (01:30:09):
Uh mm hmmm.
Speaker 1 (01:30:18):
Sorry, the sheet configuration changed for us because I did
some updates and now I don't know where anything is.
Just like them. M okay, uh so you can you
can absolutely charge this, but you can also spend the
twenty men of points to do it right away.
Speaker 14 (01:30:42):
Oh right away, you say, Oh okay, then I.
Speaker 1 (01:30:48):
Yes, this isn't the channeling. This isn't the channeling ability that.
Speaker 14 (01:30:52):
Your oh right, channeling powerful blast. Yes, so I am
going to is the.
Speaker 1 (01:30:58):
One that you use when you want to attack everything
that's on the battlefield.
Speaker 14 (01:31:02):
M M okay, I would like to unleash this on
the closest target.
Speaker 1 (01:31:12):
I imagine folded my arms, imagine the current setup is
like where they are on the tower. Roughly.
Speaker 17 (01:31:19):
Okay, this dude immediately to the right of me, he's
going to get the full, the full blast here.
Speaker 1 (01:31:26):
Oh you're doing the full the full single target. This
is just a hundred damage and it just costs you
the the twenty manu the twenty yep. Yeah, and just
explain what this looks like.
Speaker 17 (01:31:42):
You see me kind of close my eyes and the
world fades out right, Everything kind of fades out, and all.
Speaker 14 (01:31:49):
You hear is like boo boom boo boom boo boom, And.
Speaker 17 (01:31:54):
There's a huge blue boomerang that immediately goes towards this
guy right in front of me. And I look visibly
worn out after doing that.
Speaker 1 (01:32:06):
As this shot comes flying out, nobody's really expecting it.
They he holds up like his axe, tries to raise
his shield, but this like blast of energy just like shit,
we just see this like this blast, this gust of
(01:32:27):
like force and wind shoot upwards and like the beard
sort of gets thrown up, and this attack of pierces
through the armor and just and you see them just
kind of like stumble as they rush towards you, trying
to like stay up right, and you can see they're
(01:32:51):
they're like bleeding like all over fill up and rushing
towards you though. Okay, tell these are wrong warriors.
Speaker 17 (01:33:05):
I kind of try and make out. Okay, one, two, three, four,
So it's just four right, you can see. Yeah, okay,
I look up at the tower. Is it still cracking
a little bit?
Speaker 10 (01:33:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 14 (01:33:20):
Is anything coming towards me from the tower?
Speaker 1 (01:33:22):
It does look like there is a red sort of
gas that is headed your way.
Speaker 14 (01:33:26):
Good, Okay, I stand there, shield a the ready.
Speaker 1 (01:33:30):
Okay, let's see the one that you just attacked is
going to go.
Speaker 6 (01:33:39):
This one is strong. Don't hold back, and.
Speaker 1 (01:33:46):
They will I think they will begin with a broad
(01:34:06):
acts attack towards you. That is a miss.
Speaker 2 (01:34:13):
Uh yeah. Moon.
Speaker 1 (01:34:15):
As they rush towards you, they probably like stumble a
bit from your attack, and you can see they're trying
to like shake out maybe some sweat or blood from
their eyes from the attack. Uh and just uh they're
a bit wide with their swing. They swing and miss.
It is your turn.
Speaker 14 (01:34:34):
I feel the acts kind of like.
Speaker 17 (01:34:37):
The wind from it gets my hair back a little bit,
like oh, it's that really kind of slow motion like
old school cartoon network.
Speaker 21 (01:34:45):
Like.
Speaker 14 (01:34:48):
So I'm standing there.
Speaker 17 (01:34:49):
Kind of like okay, and now I would like to
channel my energy. This is where I kind of I
drop the shield.
Speaker 14 (01:34:58):
You hear a clang, because I really would like to
get this over with.
Speaker 17 (01:35:03):
I just keep looking at the tower like come on,
come on, come on, Like I'm I'm like I'm watching
somebody deliver me my.
Speaker 14 (01:35:10):
Food, you know, like these guys are just an inconvenience
at this juncture. My arms crossed.
Speaker 1 (01:35:15):
Channeling your energy for calamity. Yes, okay, you begin to channel.
Speaker 14 (01:35:23):
And you start to see my eyes glow.
Speaker 1 (01:35:31):
Uh yeah, the next one will begin to rush towards you.
It's going to be the other one that's down on
the lower level, they will rush towards.
Speaker 5 (01:35:44):
You, and.
Speaker 1 (01:35:49):
I think they are going to mark you. You can
see basically like they point towards you.
Speaker 11 (01:36:09):
This one is channeling some sort of magic. Everyone's striking tandem.
Speaker 1 (01:36:16):
And they have marked you or some sort of ability. Okay, okay,
that is it for their turn. Your channeling of calamity
takes place. You spend forty mana and roll a D three. Please,
(01:36:44):
You've got it. High is good? Yeah. Maybe upon hearing
them all sort of calling out in response to this
marking of you and the acknowledgment of this spell that
is about to happen, not as much power as channeled
into it, you release the spell a little too quickly,
(01:37:07):
and you will deal fifteen damage to everyone, including the
ones that you did not see. There are some more.
And this wave of energy blasts out from Moon.
Speaker 2 (01:37:26):
And it just.
Speaker 1 (01:37:28):
It's like a wave of force and energy radiating out
from Moon. You even see like the tower takes some
damage as well. It's sort of like wobbles a little bit.
And it's a very sturdy looking structure in general. The
bits and pieces, like some of the railings kind of
like like bend inwards a little bit from the blast.
(01:37:52):
And yeah, they all take They're all going to take
some damage here.
Speaker 17 (01:37:56):
I also wobble a little bit as I release this energy, like, oh,
WHOA just standing there kind of blinking my eyes.
Speaker 14 (01:38:06):
My hand goes to my forehead.
Speaker 17 (01:38:08):
Ah, it's like a brain freeze. Just immediate after that blast.
All I look up at the tower. It's a little hazy.
Speaker 1 (01:38:20):
Okay. The one on the second level here jumps down
towards you. It's gonna be this. This guy basically jumps
down with the with the axe in hand, like some
kind of like chopping down a massive tree, rushes towards
(01:38:44):
you and will try a mortal strike upon you.
Speaker 14 (01:38:50):
Oh, oh, dear, I raise my shield.
Speaker 1 (01:38:55):
Weekly Oh, this will not do any damage as it
(01:39:15):
comes down. Any direct damage, however, you gain reduced healing,
which means that you recover half the amount of hit
points from any healing you may receive. Oh, and that
is a free attack. As they land, they catch you
(01:39:36):
a little bit off guard here, Moon, and the power
of this strike sort of like maybe you're able to
like raise up your sword or something to catch the blow.
It doesn't do any direct damage, but you can feel
this attack radiates through your body and your bones, and
it's like you know when an anime character like coughs
(01:39:57):
up blood from like an internal injury. It's like, you know,
like you just hack up that like involuntary blood splatter,
and then they will do their actual attack, which is
a broad act strike, and that one is a hit,
big hit for thirty damage.
Speaker 17 (01:40:16):
Moon.
Speaker 14 (01:40:17):
Ah, where is a hit?
Speaker 1 (01:40:21):
I imagine like, yeah, as you're certain you embraced yourself
to try and block the mortal strike, it staggers you
a little bit, and they just follow up with a
sort of underhanded strike towards your ribs, and this one
like lands like funk. Your armor blocks a chunk of it,
but like yeah, it gets through and you can feel
(01:40:42):
like it definitely hits something it shouldn't have.
Speaker 17 (01:40:45):
I cough up blood, kneeling to the ground, spit it out,
clutching my side.
Speaker 14 (01:40:52):
Ah, he please, looking up at the tower.
Speaker 1 (01:40:59):
They all come on, come on. They all sort of
reiterate in the phrase it bleeds.
Speaker 17 (01:41:09):
I'm hearing what they're saying, but it's almost like I'm
in a daze or a trance and not paying attention.
Speaker 14 (01:41:14):
I'm so hungry my head hurts. Ah No, I'm bleeding.
I stand up and spit more blood on the ground.
Speaker 17 (01:41:30):
Here, turn my face, all right, I go a little
viking and I take out broken revelry and immediately.
Speaker 14 (01:41:43):
Rear back and thrust right into this guy right in
front of me.
Speaker 1 (01:41:49):
Here, Okay, what's a miss? That is a miss? These
are competent warriors. You strike, and you can see practice
countering to your attacks. The axe comes down, the shield
probably forces you to back up, like as they try
and smack you with the shield.
Speaker 14 (01:42:09):
Damn, I stumble a little bit. Ugh, I'm fully aware
of that. Well, it's slice on my ribs.
Speaker 1 (01:42:17):
Oh okay, last one's turn. This one will leap from
the second floor as well and try to attack you.
This will just be a regular attack though with a
broad axe. They bring the axe down and I think
(01:42:41):
you maybe you heard something. You caught wind of them
before they actually struck you, and you just jump back
out of the way. The Moon dodging the attack.
Speaker 17 (01:42:56):
Dude's so close that I can smell like the body
odor and the maybe bits of like the leather that
he's wearing.
Speaker 14 (01:43:02):
I'm just like WHOA.
Speaker 1 (01:43:04):
As a new round occurs, Moon, the gas reaches you
and I need you to please make a roll for me.
How do you think you absorb this? What do you
feel like your body is doing? Can you explain it
(01:43:27):
to me? That will affect what you are rolling?
Speaker 14 (01:43:30):
Hm, I'm not sure I react right now.
Speaker 17 (01:43:37):
Uh.
Speaker 14 (01:43:40):
You might see this kind of like this fine mist
sort of start to surround.
Speaker 3 (01:43:48):
This.
Speaker 17 (01:43:51):
I don't know, maybe maybe like a bubble. Maybe there's
sort of bubble that I can't see. And it's really quick,
but I leap out of the way and you see it,
and then into this miss that slowly starts to go
up my nose and into my ears, and when I breathe,
it's like a I don't see it.
Speaker 14 (01:44:08):
I can't see it.
Speaker 17 (01:44:09):
I'm just I'm two in the heat of battle, okay,
And so it's like I'm breathing it in slowly, but
with every breath I can see a little bit clearer
and the headache starts to go away.
Speaker 1 (01:44:22):
Please make an insight, an insight check, a roll check.
This is going to be difficulty twelve.
Speaker 14 (01:44:32):
Oh that's a seven. That's a failure.
Speaker 1 (01:44:34):
Okay, it doesn't have any significant impact yet.
Speaker 4 (01:44:40):
Moon.
Speaker 17 (01:44:41):
It is your turn, however, Well, guys still right in
front of me, and I've got broken revelry in my hand.
Speaker 14 (01:44:49):
So one more time, I'm going to lunch out and
try and get him right on the shoulder.
Speaker 2 (01:44:54):
That is a hit.
Speaker 1 (01:44:55):
How do you kill him?
Speaker 17 (01:44:57):
Ooh, I don't mean to, but I actually stab him.
Instead of the shoulder, I get him right in the neck.
And it's a bit less media of a hit and
maybe a bit more fleshy, bit more soft, and as
the knife kind of like right into the into the fleshy.
Speaker 14 (01:45:14):
Part gets absorbed and all I hear is it?
Speaker 17 (01:45:16):
Oh i'm ah, And I retract the knife and you
see all this like, oh.
Speaker 14 (01:45:28):
Than I intended. I look at the blood on the
I shake off the sword and I step back, and
now I can see the mist in front of me,
and I can see this gas and I try and
absorb it.
Speaker 17 (01:45:45):
It's like that one scene in hocus Pocus where the
witches are like like like the souls of other people.
Speaker 1 (01:45:51):
I'm like, oh, yes, unfortunately you missed your opportunity with
that first one, though, Okay, next one is gonna go
and let's see here. I think what they are gonna
do is I think this one is going to try
(01:46:18):
to mark you again. This one yells, do not fear.
Speaker 6 (01:46:31):
She can't be hurt. She can't be coo focus. She
took a broat to the ribs to your advantage.
Speaker 17 (01:46:40):
As he says this, I kind of I clutched my
ribs like, oh, I'm just glaring at him.
Speaker 1 (01:46:47):
Okay. The next one is looking ready to strike, but
it is your turn.
Speaker 14 (01:46:54):
Okay, I've got my shield up.
Speaker 17 (01:46:56):
I'm sort of assessing these dudes, and the idea of
the umberstone kind of fades from my mind. So I've
already killed one, and at this juncture, I've just kind
of gotta I've got to look at this as one
by one, one, two, three. I want to roll an
insight check just to see is it just three or
are there more?
Speaker 16 (01:47:18):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:47:18):
Okay, so this will take up your turn if you
would like to do that. Yes, so I think, uh yeah,
difficulty is going to be twelve.
Speaker 14 (01:47:33):
Okay, is this just insight?
Speaker 1 (01:47:38):
This is insight insight?
Speaker 14 (01:47:39):
Yes, fourteen success.
Speaker 1 (01:47:42):
There are two more that you can hear, uh talking
inside the tower.
Speaker 19 (01:47:48):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:47:49):
They I think you can hear.
Speaker 6 (01:47:51):
Them, like, should we join? They're having problems?
Speaker 10 (01:47:54):
There's no way.
Speaker 8 (01:48:02):
Okay.
Speaker 17 (01:48:03):
I'm listening, and it's like I can kind of pick
up there the other two people. But I'm going to
concentrate on the three here in front of me, because
these guys seem the most intent on killing me.
Speaker 14 (01:48:16):
So all I've got now is just a shield, and
I sword my hand in my dream, and I look
at them.
Speaker 17 (01:48:21):
And put on my most grimacing, angry face that I
possibly can't even though.
Speaker 14 (01:48:27):
My focus right now is just on getting this umberstone.
Speaker 1 (01:48:32):
This one is going to go and we'll attack and
then attempt to use a finisher on you.
Speaker 14 (01:48:44):
A finisher.
Speaker 1 (01:48:47):
How there ha, that is a miss, so unfortunately they
cannot do their finisher. Yes, as they rush towards you, Moon,
I think this is just a you know, a clashing
of swords and acts. Effectively, it's just a back and
forth kind of thing where you're dodging each other's attacks,
(01:49:09):
and it's just a heated attack, attacking with a very fast,
you know, slightly bigger than a hatchet type of axe.
They're swinging very quickly, much faster than the sword. But
you're able to anticipate their strikes claning, cling, clang, clang,
and that is it for their turn.
Speaker 14 (01:49:27):
It is your turn.
Speaker 17 (01:49:29):
I jump back a bit, sword still in hand, and
I look for an opening in this in the the
the guy that I'm currently dueling, and I notice that
he is not protecting his kidneyees, and so I go
for a kidney shot.
Speaker 14 (01:49:49):
With broken revelry.
Speaker 7 (01:49:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 17 (01:49:53):
I bring it around to the side kind of like
a like a like a boxing punch, sort of like
a dagger.
Speaker 1 (01:49:58):
H that is a hit, a meaty shot to the kidney.
They sort of quickly like pull their arm towards the
sword and try and like trap the sword in the
in the in the wound and try and like hold it,
and they can't seem to like hold it still as
they take this damage. And I shot for twenty two damage.
Speaker 6 (01:50:23):
Oops.
Speaker 1 (01:50:24):
Sorry that did not get them in crisis.
Speaker 5 (01:50:28):
Apologies.
Speaker 17 (01:50:30):
I kind of schlort my braid, my blade on my pants,
on my robe. I can sure to clean it, keep
it clean it.
Speaker 14 (01:50:38):
I want rusted.
Speaker 1 (01:50:40):
Okay sharp? Uh all right, let's see the next one
is gonna go The one in the back here is
gonna rush forward and will I think they're gonna be
(01:51:02):
swinging a war axe this time. Okay, it's a dual
bladed like a much heftier looking axe. These guys are
overloaded with weapons. They've got weapons that their hip. They've
got weapons on their back. They got shields, you know
they are. They're looking ready for battle basically, and this
one grabs the like two handed war axe off their
(01:51:25):
back crushes towards you.
Speaker 17 (01:51:30):
It's like that that anime, like a super slow motion
and my face is like, oh, I get like straight.
Speaker 14 (01:51:37):
Up deer in the headlights, and that's probably why I
get hit.
Speaker 1 (01:51:39):
Yeah, they bring this massive war axe down on you
and hits you. Your armor absorbs like a lot of
the attack, but it still sinks through your armor and
deals some damage to you. Ah thirty two. Yeah, there's
probably like a fracture. It hurts like a son of
(01:52:02):
a bitch.
Speaker 14 (01:52:07):
I stumble backward weekly clutching my shoulder. I spit blood.
How much damage? Oh jeez, I was a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:52:19):
Okay, I already did it. Okay, Moon, this gas is
sort of dissipated. It is your turn. What are you doing?
Speaker 8 (01:52:35):
Huh?
Speaker 17 (01:52:36):
I look up at the tower, I look down at
these guys, and I look up at the tower, and
then I look at them. I look at the tower,
and I decide to release a powerful blast at the tower.
Speaker 1 (01:52:55):
At the tower. Okay, where are you aiming?
Speaker 17 (01:53:01):
Where are you aiming at the emberstone, in particular where
it's cracking.
Speaker 1 (01:53:06):
Okay, uh yeah, a powerful blast, you say, okay, yeah,
this massive chunk of emberstone shatters from the from the
crystal on top of the tower, and you can see
pieces of it.
Speaker 6 (01:53:25):
What are you doing? Are you a fool? This is
all that holds back the rift.
Speaker 17 (01:53:33):
I look at him, and then I look at the emberstone,
and you can see my eyes sort of like the
red is like reflecting in them, kind of like a fire,
and all other things just sort of fade, like.
Speaker 1 (01:53:48):
That's my turn, okay, new round. As you see the
emberstone begin to fall, it begins to swirl and turn
into a gas and begins to move towards you. Hasn't
reached it yet, but it is your turn, okay.
Speaker 17 (01:54:10):
All I notice that it's heading towards me, and I
sort of start to pace myself, remind myself that's okay.
Speaker 22 (01:54:22):
All is wealth.
Speaker 17 (01:54:24):
And then I turned my attention slowly, patiently forwards the
guy that just tried to hit me with this war ax.
I take broken revelry and I just look at him
and I aim for his neck.
Speaker 1 (01:54:42):
That is a hit. You strike out. He defends, but
you still strike probably near the collarbone area where you
were just struck and have dealt some damage yourself. That
was twenty one damage. Very nice. Okay, they recoil in
(01:55:05):
pain from the attack.
Speaker 14 (01:55:09):
I noticed some of his blood on the ground. Huh,
same color as the Amberston.
Speaker 1 (01:55:16):
And you can see the other two that are inside
the tower begin to rush out.
Speaker 14 (01:55:21):
At this point, I wipe my nose, gather my bearings,
brace myself.
Speaker 1 (01:55:30):
They will be added next round. Okay. One in the
front that you just struck is gonna go first, and
they will mark you.
Speaker 6 (01:55:44):
She's mad, she's bron though, Do not give up. She's
taking a wound there and there.
Speaker 1 (01:55:52):
In points and will mark you. Okay, that is it
for their turn. It's your turn.
Speaker 4 (01:56:01):
What Oh?
Speaker 14 (01:56:03):
I clutched my ribs, but also oh my head.
Speaker 17 (01:56:08):
I look at the tower and then I debate if
I want to release more energy because I'm not. Oh man, well,
Migrain's starting. Is any more gas headed towards me?
Speaker 1 (01:56:22):
I mean that stream of gas from the amber Stun
that you damaged looks like it's headed towards you. It
just hasn't reached you yet.
Speaker 14 (01:56:33):
I turned my attention.
Speaker 17 (01:56:37):
Towards the guy in front of me, and he has
broken revelry again, but weakly because my attention is elsewhere.
Speaker 1 (01:56:49):
Oh shoot, yeah, that is a miss. Unfortunately, you go
to strike.
Speaker 6 (01:56:57):
He's looking in. Don't give up.
Speaker 14 (01:57:00):
We must not allow the tower to fall all over.
Speaker 6 (01:57:02):
Coorio counts on us. What are you weak? No, whill
do you give up?
Speaker 5 (01:57:10):
No?
Speaker 6 (01:57:13):
We are warriors of our score.
Speaker 1 (01:57:21):
And the next one rushes forward, rushing towards you. They
will attempt to shrink with broad acts. That is a miss.
Speaker 2 (01:57:44):
Moon.
Speaker 1 (01:57:45):
You were able to block the attacking. You batter the
attack aside, and it is now your turn.
Speaker 17 (01:57:57):
I'm becoming agitated because this migraine is especially awful, and
I attack the guy nearest to me with broken revelry,
slashing forward with no direction.
Speaker 1 (01:58:08):
That is a hit, very nice, just barely a hit.
You strike, and you faint and they go. They fall
for the faint. They try to block, and instead you stab,
driving broken revelry into their side.
Speaker 17 (01:58:29):
A yank yanke back broken Revelie, quickly taking a step back.
I'm breathless, well, not feeling great.
Speaker 1 (01:58:40):
The last one will go before the other two during
the voyage. Okay, let's see this time. This one will
strike with war acts and potentially do a finisher that
(01:59:01):
is a hit for thirty plus finish your damage. And
this is going to be either're can I get a roll?
Oh nasty? This is a whopping fifty damage moon. Oh,
(01:59:28):
all the hardest you've been struck in a long time,
Absolutely smacking you hard. This one wrecks you.
Speaker 14 (01:59:40):
I'd say this is one where I'm caught so off guard.
Speaker 21 (01:59:43):
It's like in the jaw and it's one of those
slow motion like oh oh yes ah, and just like
slow motion blood out of the mouth, Jalli oh, and
I am knocked to the ground like just straight up,
(02:00:06):
like skidding, leaving a blood.
Speaker 1 (02:00:08):
Trail, massive slash across your face, just streaming blood down
the side of your face and neck.
Speaker 14 (02:00:20):
It got the wind knocked out of me. I wipe
my mouth, I spin out more blood.
Speaker 17 (02:00:32):
I stand up, Oh, clutch my ribs and I stand
back up, and in maybe a bit of a frenzy,
I kind of try to like stab multiple times, hoping
that something hits with Broken Revelry, but to no avail.
Speaker 1 (02:00:57):
It fails. And as it does, oh, you can see
the other two on the second floor of the tower
emerge brandishing weapons and they see.
Speaker 6 (02:01:12):
Moron Stone Sony alarm, Tony, alarm.
Speaker 1 (02:01:19):
And you see one of them rush over to some
kind of button on the tower. However, that emberstone is
rushing towards you. How do you try to absorb it?
Speaker 21 (02:01:36):
Moon?
Speaker 14 (02:01:37):
Uh, I guess I stand there watch it and it
becomes this.
Speaker 17 (02:01:49):
Maybe a sort of figure, sort of shape. I don't know,
but I close my eyes because they're so tired.
Speaker 14 (02:01:57):
And I feel like maybe a little cold. I can
feel this heat.
Speaker 17 (02:02:05):
It's like it's like you're getting closer to a fire,
you know, when you can see the fire you step
towards it in a really like cold environment. It's like, oh,
that's actually pretty warm. So I'm not sure how I
absorb it, but it feels me.
Speaker 1 (02:02:17):
Willpower and willpower twelve.
Speaker 14 (02:02:21):
Okay, we'll check willpower and willpower difficulty is twelve. Oh
it's a ten. That's a failure.
Speaker 1 (02:02:30):
Yeah, Moon, it's hard to focus. You feel like you're
missing something here. As the emberstone sort of this gas
sort of evaporates, and as it does so moves around you, Moon,
and you swear.
Speaker 10 (02:02:49):
You can see.
Speaker 1 (02:02:54):
Something sort of overlaid on top of the objects around you.
You are seeing something here, Moon, There is.
Speaker 2 (02:03:20):
Just the barest.
Speaker 1 (02:03:21):
It just lasts for like a second or two, but
you can see what appears to be like a different landscape.
For a second. It looks like alien, completely different nothing
you've ever seen before. The sounds are different. For a moment,
(02:03:44):
there's a eerie sort of feeling like you are seeing
something beyond you. And then it is gone with the
(02:04:06):
rattling of swords and armor.
Speaker 14 (02:04:09):
Huh huh, huh huh, it is you. I brought back
to reality. What what do I remember any of that?
Speaker 4 (02:04:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 14 (02:04:23):
Was was anything recognizable?
Speaker 5 (02:04:27):
Shoot?
Speaker 17 (02:04:30):
I shake my head like, but we try to clear
it up, like huh, okay, okay, I'm not losing it.
Speaker 14 (02:04:37):
I'm not losing it. I'm fine.
Speaker 1 (02:04:44):
It is your turn.
Speaker 15 (02:04:47):
Look down.
Speaker 17 (02:04:48):
I've still got my sword in my hand and it's
it's shaking at this point. So here's hoping I can
actually make another contact with this. I make a lunge
forward with broken revelry into.
Speaker 14 (02:04:59):
This guys hips.
Speaker 1 (02:05:02):
That is a success. You lunge forward and he goes
to block, but he doesn't turn like his hip fast enough,
so the sword clatters against shield and skitters across the hip,
drawing blood. They are in crisis now, and it is
(02:05:27):
their turn.
Speaker 6 (02:05:32):
She's doing something to the towers the emberstone.
Speaker 11 (02:05:37):
Look.
Speaker 1 (02:05:37):
Look, some of the ones from up above call it
moves towards her.
Speaker 5 (02:05:42):
What easy.
Speaker 1 (02:05:45):
And this one will try to mark you again. Well,
I guess they get the automatically. They automatically get to
succeed on marking you. But that takes up their whole turn. Okay,
it is your turn, Moon, I've been ready.
Speaker 14 (02:06:04):
I have been ready. To stab this guy again right
in the stomach.
Speaker 1 (02:06:07):
Come on, that is a hit for another fifteen damage. Yeah,
you stab. It's a shallow stab that kind of like
partially catch the blade a little bit and you draw
it back. You feel it like slice part of their
hand to ah.
Speaker 17 (02:06:27):
Feel a little bit like a rattlesnake, like can't get
deep enough hits. Though these guys are tanky.
Speaker 1 (02:06:35):
These are veteran Asgorian warriors that you are currently doing
battle with. Some of these strongest warriors. I didn't recall yea,
And the next one will attempt to strike you, this
(02:06:56):
time with broad acts. That is a miss.
Speaker 16 (02:07:13):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (02:07:14):
You just sway out of the way of the attack. There, Moon,
as that one tries to strike you. Um, it is
your turn again.
Speaker 14 (02:07:25):
I don't hesitate.
Speaker 17 (02:07:29):
I release another powerful blast at the tower and that's
gonna take another twenty man of points.
Speaker 1 (02:07:36):
Ah, I clutch at my head off, another chunk of
the emberstone like falls off. They all kind of like
duck out of the way of the attack, you know,
like uh, like they're all kind of shocked by how
powerful is.
Speaker 11 (02:07:56):
She doesn't fall, she bleeds. She's strong, just like a
kite to herself.
Speaker 6 (02:08:04):
Come on, come on, stop this ad. You must stop this.
Speaker 1 (02:08:14):
And the next one will go down below. The one
with the war As will rush towards you and potentially
try for another finisher. Oh shit, in coming finisher attack.
Here we go. That is a hit. Okay for minimal
(02:08:39):
finish your damage, but it's still gonna fucking hurt. This
is for forty four damage. I will apply that another
big hit. Here Moon, the war Acts comes slicing down.
I think you're still focused on maybe the other one
that you were attacking, and you miss this attack which
(02:09:02):
comes in from the side, and it just you feel
it like crush a few ribs.
Speaker 14 (02:09:06):
Like just ah, here a crack.
Speaker 1 (02:09:12):
Moon's body kind of like looks like like like a
sea for a second, you know, like, oh.
Speaker 17 (02:09:21):
I take a skid across the ground again. My robe
has some holes in it on the gravel. You can
hear it like crunch all over the sword, the shields.
But my focus is on the tower.
Speaker 1 (02:09:35):
Now it is your turn.
Speaker 14 (02:09:40):
I've got blood running down my mouth, ribs are cracked
on both sides. You see this glowing ball of blue
come out of my palms.
Speaker 17 (02:09:52):
Another powerful blast at a big expense towards the tower,
and I release another shock wave of energy for twenty
points towards the tower.
Speaker 1 (02:10:09):
And just so everybody's aware, is this one hundred points
of damage when Moon aims at a single target with
this attack. Huge chunks of emberstone that are cracking being
sliced off of this massive emberstone crystal at the top
of the tower.
Speaker 17 (02:10:24):
I'm losing focus though, like you're I'm I'm actually like
vision is blurry and one of my eyes.
Speaker 14 (02:10:31):
It's bad. It's bad.
Speaker 17 (02:10:32):
I'm It's like I can stand up and probably tank
some hits, but at this juncture, I don't know if
I can really concentrate or focus.
Speaker 1 (02:10:42):
Okay, keep doing this. From the first powerful blast that
you sent, you can see the emberstone who like rushing
towards you again. How do you try to absorb it.
Speaker 14 (02:10:56):
I stand on my own two feet, Can I drop
my shield? Clang clank clank clank clan, And I just.
Speaker 17 (02:11:06):
Stand there and I breathe, and I try to feel
that warmth like you try to feel the sun on
a winter's day around something very cold.
Speaker 1 (02:11:19):
Oh, come on, come on, I think this is might
and might. The difficulty is twelve.
Speaker 18 (02:11:26):
Might and might.
Speaker 14 (02:11:28):
That's a sixteen success.
Speaker 1 (02:11:32):
Okay, Moon, you'll notice that I've added clocks to your
stats page. Uh, you've got two failures at the moment,
and you have one success. However, I would like to
let the audience know there are six success slots on
(02:11:53):
this clock for Moon and three failure slots on the
other clock for Moon. That two fails so far, one success.
As you absorb this emberstone, Moon, the landscape before you
(02:12:18):
sort of changes again, and you feel.
Speaker 16 (02:12:26):
Yourself absorb this glorious umberstone that you have been.
Speaker 1 (02:12:37):
Absolutely dying for. The landscape flickers about you and you
see yet another different place.
Speaker 2 (02:12:50):
This appears to be a place of.
Speaker 1 (02:12:56):
Technology. You see people walking and maybe they're not quite people.
They maybe look like some kind of strange quadruped creature.
It's alien and weird.
Speaker 4 (02:13:15):
To you.
Speaker 10 (02:13:16):
Are they crystalline.
Speaker 1 (02:13:20):
But they have structures and buildings behind them. Something there
seems to notice you, like it's looking through a window,
and it approaches the window, and then it sort of
(02:13:44):
shakes its head and moves on.
Speaker 4 (02:13:53):
Moon.
Speaker 1 (02:13:56):
Your senses reverberate through this tower, and you can feel
through your body this pulse in rhythm. With the pulse
(02:14:18):
being sent out from the tower, you feel it wash
across the landscape and the water around Spalark. It radiates
outwards and connects to other towers and their pulses like
(02:14:41):
ripples in a pond, cascading against each.
Speaker 2 (02:14:45):
Other, and they.
Speaker 1 (02:14:49):
Eventually reach.
Speaker 4 (02:14:52):
The rift.
Speaker 16 (02:14:56):
This space of pure chaotic energy. You can sense texture.
It is everything in anything, this outpouring of everything, magic
(02:15:35):
and life and death, but most importantly the.
Speaker 18 (02:15:43):
Magic, magic, every doubt.
Speaker 2 (02:15:55):
It feels.
Speaker 1 (02:15:58):
Like when you cast a bell, it is magic.
Speaker 16 (02:16:09):
Moon, and all of the magic of this world begins
to make sense to you. The well spring of magic,
this rift, It is like a faucet, and it is
(02:16:39):
opening further and further.
Speaker 13 (02:16:45):
What could you do with this magic?
Speaker 17 (02:16:52):
Hmm?
Speaker 14 (02:16:58):
Destroy my enemies and I want nothing more in that moment,
and to destroy.
Speaker 1 (02:17:20):
There's the barrass hint sound in your periphery. Man, and
(02:17:41):
as you absorb this emberstone, you let loose a full
power powerful blast as if you were attacking one person.
To all of these mercenaries guarding the hour, they each
(02:18:06):
take one hundred damage.
Speaker 4 (02:18:10):
As you.
Speaker 1 (02:18:13):
Gain three Ultimate points and the effects of recovery, now recovery.
I don't think I added this to your sheet for
some reason, and I don't know why. What recovery for
(02:18:40):
you is not going to mean that you have like
a full rest or anything. Sorry, I have to find
this for some reason. It is gone from my shit
that I normally get. Uh is this it?
Speaker 13 (02:18:58):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (02:18:59):
There it is? Where is recovery? Why is recovery not here?
Speaker 5 (02:19:07):
Here?
Speaker 19 (02:19:07):
It is.
Speaker 1 (02:19:12):
All status effects that you would have. Why did this change?
This is gone?
Speaker 2 (02:19:18):
Weird?
Speaker 1 (02:19:19):
Okay, Well, the place where I normally get that from
has decided to disappear it. But in essence you will
gain Sorry, you will not have to spend for that
powerful blast. All of any of your status effects are gone.
You get your three ultimate points, and you will regain
(02:19:43):
fifty mind points as you sort of come back to
your senses in the midst of this fight, I.
Speaker 17 (02:19:55):
Blink my eyes I can hear the clanging of swords,
and as something comes down on my shield, I have
this sense of ringing in my ears of.
Speaker 14 (02:20:06):
Oh, the ringing is clang, clang, clang. I can hear
the crashing of the waves on the shore. I can
smell the.
Speaker 9 (02:20:17):
City.
Speaker 17 (02:20:18):
I can I can come back to all of my
senses just to and remember that I just was somewhere else,
and just to clarify.
Speaker 1 (02:20:28):
There is like essentially like a crater of damage around you.
Like you can see the snow has sort of been
like tossed up. There's big chunks of the earth that
are like missing, and you can see I imagine this
is probably like in like three hundred and sixty degrees
around you. So it's just like like there's just swaths
(02:20:49):
of damage in the ground around you. And you can
see the one that you that was immediately in front
of you. I think the top half of their body
is gone.
Speaker 17 (02:21:02):
Ah. I kick over the torso or the standing legs
and look at the rest of them, and.
Speaker 14 (02:21:15):
I breathe out, exhale. My head feels a little bit better,
and I stand there with broken revelry.
Speaker 15 (02:21:28):
Ready, she.
Speaker 11 (02:21:35):
Is far too powerful. If she pleads, we can kill it.
Wires of us gore, do not feel. We must stand strong.
This is our task, this is our life.
Speaker 6 (02:21:53):
This is our task.
Speaker 5 (02:21:54):
This is our life.
Speaker 1 (02:21:58):
And the two on the second floor get their turn,
and this one will leap down and try and strike
at you with war acts. Ah, it looks like some
(02:22:28):
shit right out of rain of fire. Fucking Matthew McConaughey
with the with the war action. Bring the war acts
down as you come back to your senses and connect
for thirty one damage?
Speaker 3 (02:22:51):
Is it?
Speaker 10 (02:22:51):
Is it on the.
Speaker 14 (02:22:54):
Is it on the clavigal?
Speaker 1 (02:22:54):
Again? I imagine maybe it's on your arms or something
along those lines. But yeah, you feel it bite in deep,
leaving a nasty wound on you. But again, Moon, your
armor just absorbs like so much of the impact like
this is this is incredibly powerful armor, and it is
doing its work.
Speaker 14 (02:23:18):
Trying to shrug it off. Shake out my arm? How
many are left?
Speaker 1 (02:23:25):
One more left in this round? But there are four
here at the moment.
Speaker 14 (02:23:33):
Wait, I thought, I thought the other guy died and
the other guy's missing his top half.
Speaker 1 (02:23:39):
Uh yeah, one of them. They all have taken damage.
They are all in crisis at.
Speaker 14 (02:23:44):
The moment, So there's one guy that's still alive, that's
just walking around with his bottom half.
Speaker 6 (02:23:49):
No, that guy's dead. He's fucking collapsed.
Speaker 2 (02:23:52):
He's dead.
Speaker 1 (02:23:53):
They've all taken damage. They all look fucking horrible. But
they were two that emerged from the tower.
Speaker 14 (02:24:00):
Oh right, because they're a four, that's right.
Speaker 1 (02:24:02):
Okay, they're all in crisis right now. They all look
fucking horrible.
Speaker 14 (02:24:06):
Okay, good, I stayed there with my with my with
my sword. We can get the guy with the with
the legs.
Speaker 1 (02:24:13):
Counting four, there's four that are up all right. The
last one's gonna go. This one from up above is
going to try and strike you with war acts. They're
just like jumping off like madmen, trying to strike at you.
(02:24:40):
That is another hit for thirty four damage, and you
potentially have more emberstone to absorb as the last bit
of the crystal that you shattered. It's flying towards you.
How do you try to absorb it?
Speaker 17 (02:25:02):
Oh?
Speaker 14 (02:25:04):
Do I notice that it's coming towards me?
Speaker 1 (02:25:06):
Because I just got hit, I imagine, yeah, yeah, absolutely, Okay.
Speaker 17 (02:25:15):
This guy definitely hits me, and I'm oh clutching my
side because the armor took it. But I stand up
and I look at the Emberstone, and I just to
extend my hand my palms, and I attempt to channel
it into my arm.
Speaker 1 (02:25:41):
Okay, I'm gonna say this is probably might and might
difficulty twelve.
Speaker 14 (02:25:49):
In my difficulty twelve. Oh, it's a fifteen success.
Speaker 1 (02:25:55):
Yet again, man, the Emberstone travels to you and you
begin to absorb it, and we mark another success on
the flock, and yet again, Moon, Oh, this feels incredible.
It feels like that that big gulp of water, as
(02:26:20):
if you were.
Speaker 16 (02:26:21):
On a desert or you'd been working laboriously all day.
Speaker 10 (02:26:27):
It's exactly what you needed.
Speaker 1 (02:26:30):
And you recover yet again for fifty more mind points,
and yet again you see more around you, flickering visions,
as if a world is overlapped onto this one. This time,
(02:26:51):
the world is lush with color and flora. It appears
overgrown with plants alien that you've never seen before.
Speaker 2 (02:27:03):
But there appears to be some sort of.
Speaker 1 (02:27:06):
Variety amongst them. Some are prey and some are predator.
You immediately know this just by seeing it feeling it
as another pulse ripples through the towers, and yet again
you feel the malstrom rift. It is pouring magic into
(02:27:32):
this world.
Speaker 2 (02:27:35):
It has some sort of great purpose.
Speaker 1 (02:27:40):
You feel.
Speaker 13 (02:27:43):
Like maybe you could be this great purpose, like all
of this could be for you.
Speaker 14 (02:28:05):
I dropped my shield again and I kneel.
Speaker 2 (02:28:20):
You kneel for this riff?
Speaker 1 (02:28:28):
Is that what you're doing then?
Speaker 14 (02:28:38):
And you can't really see it because there's so much
red and reflections. But there are fears coming down my cheeks.
And I stand and I reach. I will, I will,
(02:29:06):
I will, and I just keep repeating.
Speaker 18 (02:29:08):
I will.
Speaker 5 (02:29:12):
Create.
Speaker 17 (02:29:16):
And my intention. The first thing I think of is
the man without the upper half. Can I give him
back his upper half?
Speaker 2 (02:29:35):
You're asking me.
Speaker 14 (02:29:49):
I create this leather.
Speaker 17 (02:30:00):
Because in front of me, a naked corso sits rippling biceps,
muscles beyond muscles, beyond muscles. You can see how vainy
this person is. Tattoos etched into the neck. He stares
(02:30:20):
blindly forward as if to be addressed. And I place
this armor onto this prso. NI caress his cheek.
Speaker 14 (02:30:40):
And I give it a bit of a slap, and ah.
Speaker 17 (02:30:50):
They're there, they're there. As he awakens, I grab the
entirety of him, and out of nothing.
Speaker 14 (02:31:11):
He becomes whole. You see this red entanglement of vines,
and his face.
Speaker 17 (02:31:19):
Is grotesque, because it's clearly painful. Growing from his torso, muscles, tendons, skeletons,
irrupts from nothing, these vines of muscles and sinew and bone.
Speaker 14 (02:31:34):
Ah, it's okay, it's okay. Just breathe.
Speaker 17 (02:31:46):
His ankles, his feet, they morph in defeat. But now
now he is whole again. And I stand because now
(02:32:25):
there's just this.
Speaker 14 (02:32:29):
Man in front of me.
Speaker 1 (02:32:36):
Had I scream, Your ultimate points are gone back to zero.
Speaker 2 (02:32:46):
You feel that.
Speaker 1 (02:32:48):
Deep hunger for emberstone.
Speaker 22 (02:32:53):
Us, and that reads out to touch this man's shoulder.
Speaker 15 (02:33:03):
Is he real?
Speaker 5 (02:33:07):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (02:33:07):
Yes, quite real? Recoiling at your touch. All of these
mercenaries stop and just stare at you.
Speaker 5 (02:33:23):
Huh, what are you?
Speaker 14 (02:33:33):
I attempt to flee.
Speaker 1 (02:33:38):
You begin to rush away. I need you to please
make it. Willpower and willpower check for me though. Difficulty
is going to be fourteen.
Speaker 14 (02:33:50):
Oh it's a nine. That's a failure.
Speaker 1 (02:33:53):
As you begin to.
Speaker 16 (02:33:54):
Rush away, you feel that gnawing, flawing sensation in your stomach,
in your head.
Speaker 1 (02:34:03):
Yeah, yeah, this sounds like a voice for a moment moon. Yeah,
where are you going? I do not run from your destiny.
Speaker 14 (02:34:32):
Yeah, I don't know my destinies.
Speaker 1 (02:34:39):
Dah, yeah, you will only heart yourself in this place.
Embrace it.
Speaker 3 (02:35:00):
M hm hm h m.
Speaker 17 (02:35:05):
No.
Speaker 14 (02:35:09):
Then I fall to the ground and I skimmed into
the snow. I'm so hungry. I was so full a
minute ago, and now I'm famished again. Ah, it's I
don't want your stupid power.
Speaker 1 (02:35:34):
H Yeah, you do not want it. Someone else.
Speaker 10 (02:35:45):
I'll take it.
Speaker 14 (02:35:50):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 20 (02:35:53):
H m hmm.
Speaker 14 (02:36:00):
They stand. Can you just see me? Look at this sky?
Whoever is talking right.
Speaker 19 (02:36:20):
Now, show yourself, show yourself. I command you to show yourself.
Speaker 14 (02:36:39):
Stop controlling me.
Speaker 1 (02:36:44):
I am not controlling you. M hm.
Speaker 2 (02:37:05):
As you say this, there appears to be.
Speaker 1 (02:37:11):
A humanoid figure shadow. As you look down, it is
emanating from your feet. H I have always shown myself.
(02:37:47):
I have always been.
Speaker 4 (02:37:48):
Here with you.
Speaker 3 (02:38:00):
Are you.
Speaker 14 (02:38:05):
You're not You're not You're not a part of the game.
Speaker 2 (02:38:10):
Game.
Speaker 1 (02:38:15):
There is no game.
Speaker 14 (02:38:28):
I look at the rift, I look towards it. Can
I see it? Can I see this the storm?
Speaker 3 (02:38:42):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (02:38:45):
I'm going to say that you probably can in the moment,
and it's more like an instinct than visual representation. You
had such a in depth understanding of it a few
moments ago that it's you know when you look at
(02:39:10):
a bright flash of light and you close your eyes,
and that flash still sort of remains while your eyes
are closed. It's a bit like that.
Speaker 14 (02:39:25):
I close my eyes. I need to go back. I
want to go back to that. Take me to the rift.
Speaker 1 (02:39:44):
I can't take you anywhere. You need power for that.
Speaker 2 (02:39:58):
Oh, you.
Speaker 1 (02:40:01):
You can take yourself.
Speaker 14 (02:40:10):
I ran from the tower. How far back is the tower?
Speaker 1 (02:40:16):
Maybe a few hundred feet?
Speaker 14 (02:40:20):
Am I being chased.
Speaker 1 (02:40:21):
The mercenaries are just kind of dumbfounded. They don't know
what to do. They're just kind of looking on trying
to see what you're doing.
Speaker 14 (02:40:34):
I look at my hands, and I look back at
the tower. Yeah, that extends my palms. I'm so hungry.
Speaker 10 (02:40:51):
Good good, h.
Speaker 1 (02:40:58):
You can do.
Speaker 2 (02:41:01):
Nothing.
Speaker 5 (02:41:02):
You have no power.
Speaker 1 (02:41:09):
The scream goes dark for everyone. Someplace else, we hear
(02:41:34):
familiar voice.
Speaker 10 (02:41:39):
From these readings.
Speaker 9 (02:41:41):
I believe she's becoming something more than even I expected.
Speaker 14 (02:41:47):
Namier no iluma.
Speaker 10 (02:41:55):
Love, I know your animal.
Speaker 1 (02:42:12):
