(00:00):
Today, I'm main source of truth. We're going to speak with Riley Gains
Barker about the hashtags save Women's Sportsmovement and the leadership poison passion She's brought
to this fight, a fight weneed more parents to start to speak out
about a handful of people are willingto put their lives on the line,
and you'll understand that in a minute. But it can't be only a few
voices screaming from the mountaintop into thewind. Parents' voices need to carry like
they win and be powerful. Theyneed to knock trees down if needed,
(00:23):
so the landscape can change. Aquote from Riley Gaines, I can attest
to the tears that I witnessed fromfinishers who missed being named an All American
by one place. I can attestto the extreme discomfort in the locker room
by an eighteen year old girl exposedto male body parts and having to undress
with a male watching them in thesame room. Unquote. That's going to
happen here in Maine, folks. We're going to speak to the new hashtag
(00:45):
sensation way to cheat, bro andprovide you with more insight than you'll find
anywhere else. On the horrors ofK through twelve public schools. This is
the main source of truth podcast, and very few parents have said anything what
Chean mcgriarny did. Sean mcbrity isin the fust OFCUS today, Seawan,
though, how pervasive is that inour school? Sean mcbriarty joins us.
(01:08):
Now he just won this lawsuit andgets forty thousand dollars from the school board.
Good morning, Shawn. You're hismost dangerous dat apparently. How are
you? Are you being soon orwere you do by a local district for
exposing the transgender library display? Canyou explain to what's what happens? Hey?
You are so with everything that's goingon to be just talked to.
(01:32):
This is like alcohol mail. Yeah, about the over septualization of books and
libraries at the school and then't looklike you put the handle on that.
That's the way I expects you tosupport that. I ask you to support
this podcast if you wanted to continue, and if you want to help me
with my legal expenses and god willinga legal offense fund to help others in
need, please consider chipping in atwww dot gibson go dot com slash Sean
(01:57):
mcbriarty. Now onto the show.Okay folks at season two, episode eighty
two with Riley Gaines, and it'sgoing to be named Speak Louder Now.
This is being recorded on October fourth, twenty twenty three, and it's been
an absolutely crazy week, but ina good way. Many more people now
have been exposed to the horrors ofMainz K through twelve public education system,
millions of them facked across the globe. And I think this is maybe my
(02:20):
fourth or fifth story to go global, but this one has been white hot.
It went from being sent out onThursday night after a concerned parent instant
messaged me on Facebook after she hadtried to provide the story to the main
Wire and they bailed on it forfear of bullying the sophomore high school trans
runner. More on this than alittle bit, but first a Bible verse.
This is Romans eight eighteen. Iconsider that our present sufferings are not
(02:44):
worth comparing with the glory that willbe revealed in us. This is directly
from today's guest, Riley Gaines, and you'll find out more about why it
makes so much sense to both ofus here in a little bit. But
to set this issue up from anational perspective. I want to play this
clip of Koreem Jean Pierre, therotting bag of oatmeal brains in the White
House's Press secretary, who is againthe worst diversity higher in the history of
(03:07):
the program. She says this abouttransgender rights chat a big election topic,
transgender rights. Former Governor Nikki Haleyand presidential candidate says, quote the idea
that we have biological boys playing ingirls sports, it is the women's issue
of our time. Does the Presidentagree that this is a women's rights issue?
(03:28):
So we've talked about this many times. This is the Tattle nine specifically.
Look and again, we've talked aboutthis multiple times. It's a complicated
issue and there are a wide rangeof views on this. The Department of
Education propose a rule, as youknow, that gives schools the flexibility to
establish their own athletics policies and sowhile establishing guard whils right to prevent discrimination
(03:53):
against gender kids. And that issomething that is incredibly important that the President
wants to make sure that we alsodo that as well. So I'm just
not going to get ahead of that. As I said, there's a proposed
rule and Title nine on Title ninethat the Department of Education has laid out,
So I'm just not going to getahead that as it relates to the
(04:15):
Department of Education daughters. Does hecare that girls are allowed to compete in
sports with now just are of injury? Does he think it's fair for girls
to have to compete against biological males. I just answered the question. It
is a complicated issue. It istruly a complicated issue with a wide range
of views, a wide range ofviews. There is no yes or no
(04:36):
answer to this. It is complicated. There's a rule that the Department of
Education has put forward and we're goingto let that process move forward. And
it is again we want to makesure that while we establish godrails with this
rule, that we also prevent discriminationas well against transgender kids. But again,
(04:58):
a complicated issue with a one complicatedissue KJP. She references there that
discrimination can't happen with transgender kids. That's what the White House is concerned about.
The less than one percent of thesetransgender kids who have been essentially enabled
themselves and doctrinated, brainwashed, gaslighted, they've become sexual narcissists, most
(05:23):
likely have mental health issues. Screwthe other ninety nine percent of the kids,
don't worry about your girls out there. And we're to talk to this
in detail, but just to setthe national level. Title nine, which
I did a lot of homework onfor these articles, is really about protecting
women's rights and in this case,to sports and not being discriminated against.
(05:43):
The issue is they're now being discriminatedagainst, and Biden wants to change or
not Biden, it's Obama or whoeveris pulling his strings. They want to
change Title nine to essentially make ittotally cool for a boy like in this
case Soren starkchessa Freeport, Maine,to be able to dominate on the girl's
side because he's just a mediocre malerunner. And I want to thank OutKick
(06:06):
for that video. So again Imentioned I got an instant message on Facebook
messenger from the concerned parent asking meif she knew that I was aware that
a young man was running cross countryagainst girls here in Maine, in the
Freeport, Maine area, down nearPortland, Southern Maine, or as we
call it, northern Massachusetts. Shetold me she originally went to the main
wire with the story and they decidednot to cover it. For fear of
(06:27):
looking like they were bullying this kid. Now I believe that indeed, we
need to speak louder, so Itackled the issue created a very detailed article
which included the following items. Thesort of soft outrage from some of the
parents, the fraud sore in Starkchessa from Maine Coast Waldorf, a private
high school in Freeport, Maine. The breakdown of research regarding biological advantages that
(06:48):
males have, and when you lookat it, for example, his leg
is eighty percent muscle by definition, and if you've seen pictures of this guy's
leg, I mean it's ripped.Female's leg is only sixty percent muscle on
average. And it's very, veryclear cut when you look at the two
pictures of Samantha Moore, a PortlandHigh School sophomore, and soar In Starkchessa,
(07:11):
also a sophomore. Girl versus boy, boy versus girl. Any boy
playing sports has a vast muscular andphysical advantage. It's the reality of biology,
right. They're built with more musclemass, larger bones, larger body
parts. In general, their cardiovasculinerespiratory systems functioning differently and provide a huge
competitive advantage, and we're going tohit that competitive advantage part here in a
(07:31):
second as well. I broke downthe big race, which was the Festival
champions that happened in Belfast this pastSaturday, the school and the return email
from the she her sexual narcissist athleticdirector, the enabling of our troubled youth,
the main Principles Association, and you'regoing to hear more on Fox News
about their quote essentially on their transgenderpolicy, which is completely hypocritical. And
(07:53):
the bottom line was, I hopesome of these girls would kick this boy's
ass on the course, which theydid, but only four of them did.
So. I was around this weekend, sitting around the campfire with my
friends Friday night after an eaving fourwheeler ride, and I'm watching the tweek
that I put out from the storyon Thursday. Just climb and climb.
Two hundred thousand views, three hundredthousand views, six hundred thousand views,
(08:15):
eventually cresting at one million views. And I can't tell how high it is
because basically you'd have to get twomillion views now to see, if you
know, if there's another million there. But I would say it's well above
obviously the million view mark. Andthen I did an update from the track
meet that I put out on Saturdaynight and that rose up to about three
hundred thousand views. Now this iswhere the entire hashtag way to Cheat Bro
program comes in. We need tomake that thing viral. But this is
(08:39):
a video taken by a friend ofmine at the track meet on Saturday and
his comments were just spot on.Nurice job bro, Nice job Bro,
Nice job Bro. Way to cheatBro. Hashtag way to Cheat Bro is
the new additional hashtag to the saveWomen's Sports movement. So the story went
(09:03):
viral on Thursday night and Friday nightwith the help of our guest who I
didn't have a relationship prior to today. Riley Gaines, was really the first
to give it the jumpstart when sheretweeted it. It was just a simple
retweet. He was eventually picked upby The Daily Caller, The Blaze,
Bright Bart the country of Turkey, the news outlet in Poland, the United
Kingdom, Australia. Stephen Crowder, who is really the Convince me I'm wrong
(09:24):
table guy. He's a comedian, but he's at two point three million followers.
Info wars and I'm sure I'm missinga bunch, but thank you to
everybody, even individuals who retweeted thatstory. It is by far the biggest
story in Maine this year. Butso far, not one word from the
print media in Maine. News Centernothing, WMTW nothing, WABI nothing,
(09:50):
Fox, ABC nothing, bangor DailyNews nope, Portland Press Haraled nope,
and not even the Main Wire,an allegedly conservative outlet, has touched this
story. Now, many may notknow, but I've given Steve Robinson their
editor dozens of his top stories inthe past year, and I'd bet many
are in the top five. Peoplemay not know what Steve Robinson the Mainwire
(10:11):
has done for me when I've beenpushing all these stories to them. I
can tell you I think they mighthave taken one of my rumble videos and
posted it on the website about ninemonths ago. It's basically been crickets from
them, full transparency. Steve Robinson'sgetting paid by the Main Policy Institute in
Portland, Maine radio host Matt Ganyon, and I'm doing this basically for free.
(10:31):
So it's really disappointing that, youknow, Steve Robinson he lied to
a group of us on Twitter fireda parting shot at me saying that I
quote had dicked up this story. And you remember, this is the story
of the mom that said that Mainwirewouldn't touch it. Then he left the
group all butt hurt and took hisball and went home. Now I sent
him a text. I wished himbest of luck at the end. It's
(10:52):
very frustrating when conservatives turn on eachother. But honestly, if you want
stories to be published, send himto me, don't send him to the
main Wire. I'm not sending themanything anymore. You're either part of the
problem or you're part of the solution. So the first main outlet to cover
this nonsense was WVOM, a allegedconservative radio show here in the Bank region,
(11:13):
and it was this past Monday whenWinterport track mom Catherine Collins, who
I quoted in the article, wascontacted to come on the show. And
I want to play you a cliphere of Rick Tyler from the Rick Tyler
George Hale Show on WVOM, asRick just fawns over this courageous trans kid,
calling him she multiple times. Butwe can't call Soren Stark chessa a
(11:35):
he because he identifies as a girl, and now he is running and again
sat on this for a while, wanted to see the results of the Festival
of Champions. But just a momentago and it was just you and me,
we agreed that soren Stark Chessa isunique and Soren Stark Chessa, you
could argue, is courageous. No, he's not courageous. He is an
(12:00):
enabled kid from a set of parentsthat when you read my update, it's
going to make total sense to you. He's a dude, he was born
a boy. It doesn't matter whathe wants to call himself. If you
enable a transgender person and call hea she, you might as well just
be put yourself in the looney bin. It's not reality. It's not the
(12:20):
reality we're living in. It's areality of unicorns and rainbows, and it
doesn't exist. Later, Rick Tylergoes on and says he knows trans girls
and all this other nonsense. Imean, it's just very it's very difficult
to try to get any media playup here from a conservative, a true
conservative perspective. Then that's why Ijust tell people to listen to my podcast
(12:43):
if you really want to know what'sgoing on in main schools or in schools
generally across the nation. Just listento the Main Source of Truth podcast.
The other piece that was kind ofinteresting is he quoted directly from your news
story and provided zero credit to meto be the author and being the author.
But anyway, I'm gonna play CatherineCollins and her Fox and Friends first
(13:03):
interview this morning. She did agreat job. I want to hear and
Maine speaking out about a sixteen yearold transgender student who is now dominating the
competition in high school track. Lastyear, the runner was ranked at number
one seventy two in the boys division, but now sits at fourth place in
the girl's division after racking up severalvictories. Catherine Collins is a mother in
(13:26):
Maine and both her son and daughterwere on high school track, and she
joins me, Now, Catherine, good morning to you. You know this
hits close to home for you becauseyour children are very involved in this world
of track in the state of Maine. So what's your reaction to the situation.
It's a matter of unfairness. Themen are bigger, stronger, and
(13:50):
faster than women. And a recentstatement that was put out by the American
College Sports medicine says that this isa primary difference in performance between men and
women. Men's hearts are bigger, their lungs are bigger, their muscles,
(14:11):
their legs have much more muscle massthan women. And once a boy starts
going through puberty and that hormones startkicking in, then they become this muscular
machine. And girls when they gostart going through puberty, they start accumulating
(14:33):
fat stores and they tend to getslower rather than so the boys. It's
about a ten to twenty percent differencejust based on gender in performance. So,
yeah, the men are are justfaster, and for men who are
(14:54):
pretending to be women competing against girlsis just completely unfair. Yeah. I
ran a cross country very very unsuccessfullyin high school. And when I was
in high school, breaking thirty minutesfor a five k was considered pretty good.
The boys were doing it left andright, and there were some girls
on the team that couldn't. Andit's the biological difference that we're talking about.
(15:15):
So this particular student was competing asa boy last year, now is
competing as a girl. Who's makingthe rules that are allowing this to happen.
The main Principals Association has stated thatboys and girls should be in separate
events, but there is an exceptionfor transgenders. However, they say that
(15:37):
unless such participation would result in unfairadvantage, and obviously there is an unfair
advantage, but they have allowed this. Last year in outdoor track in the
Class C state meet, two boysparticipated, one podiumed and was moved on
to the New England track meet.So a girl was put aside and not
(16:02):
allowed to meddle and not allowed toparticipate at a higher level because of this
boy. That is so and thatis so sad for her. This is
such a tough and challenging situation. It's also uncharted territory. You want every
student, no matter how they identify, to feel comfortable in their own skin
(16:22):
and compete in the way that theywant to compete. But then the other
issue is the girls who are atan unfair advantage because of biology. And
this poor student who didn't place whenshe could have if this transgender student hadn't
competed as a female. So yousay, you talk to a lot of
coaches, parents and athletes, havegotten a lot of feedback from top female
(16:44):
runners. So what are they saying, they're saying that this is unfair.
The only reason that this boy didnot win the meet on Saturday was because
Rain has some of the strongest femaleathletes in the nation. We have the
first two girls finished the race onSaturday. That was the largest cross country
race in Maine. Every year. The first place winner ranks number eight in
(17:10):
the country and the second place winnerranks number fifteenth in the country. If
it wasn't for these top ranked girls, who are faster than most girls in
the whole the United States, thisboy would have won the entire girls cross
country meet. Wow. Yeah,I mean, this is an issue that
(17:30):
isn't going anywhere. I know it'sprobably a difficult one to speak out on,
but I know you're doing so tospeak up for your children, who,
like we said, are very goodrunners and their own right in the
state of Maine. We reached outto the main Principles Association and have not
yet received a response, but we'llbring it to you if we do.
Catherine Collins, thank you so muchfor joining us this morning. We appreciate
(17:52):
it so good. Catherine did awesome, very impressed. That was kind of
our first big national interview in quitea while and you heard the nugget there
about the Main Principals Association that theyreached out. They also had an alleged
emergency meeting either yesterday or today.I'll take credit for that. I just
sent them a FOWER request, aFreedom of ACXIS Act request, asking them
(18:14):
about the following over the last week, an emergency meeting, my name,
main source of truth, Main FirstProject, cross Country Festival of Champions,
Soren Stark, Chessa, Susan A. Stark, Frank Chessa Maine Coast Waldorf,
Susan Santag who is the woke AthleticDirector, unfair athletical advantage, trans
misogyny, and hashtag way to cheapbro. So I would expect that back
(18:37):
from them probably a month or twofrom now, because as easy as that
email scrub should be, they don'twant to get me the information because they
don't want me to break it wideopen. I'm also going to play a
clip from Fox News this morning fromFox and Friends of Teagan, who is
the sister of Tiinan, who camein second in the race, and so
(18:59):
again this scenario. Teagan Ewings, who used to run track, was speaking
out in support of her sister thismorning, a very brave thing. I'm
very proud of what she's done andjust impressed by her poise. You know,
doing national news live is not easyover zoom, So listen to these
words and I hope you gain alittle bit of maybe intestinal fortitude to know
(19:22):
that if these women can go onnational news and talk about this, then
you can as well. Parents. You can step up and start talking,
even at a local level, toother parents in your daughter's track circle,
on their team, in their school, in their region. You can start
speaking about this. So imagine this. You compete in high school cross country
(19:45):
and you rank one hundred and seventysecond in your division. Then a year
later, after you switch genders, you compete with the female division, and
now you rank in the top five. Does that sound fair? Well,
that's the situation in Maine. Ournext guest, younger sister competed against that
same transathlete last weekend and he beather. Taking ewing joins us right now
(20:08):
with more on that, Tiagan.I mean, when y'all showed up to
the competition, were y'all expecting tobe competing against a biological mill So we
didn't find out about this until wewere actually about halfway through the day.
It was only a little bit beforeher race that we found out that he
was going to be competing against her. Yeah, so we want to read
(20:30):
you the policy. Apparently, themain principles Association Gender Equity and Inclusion policy
all students should have the opportunity toparticipate in MPa activities in a manner that
is consistent with their gender identity, unless such participation would result in an unfair
athletic advantage. I guess the questionis do you consider this fair? No,
(20:56):
I don't consider this fair at all. It has improven that meant are
faster, stronger, bigger, Theyhave the unfair advantage. So when males
compete against females, it does createan unfair level field taking out I'm just
curious what are all the rest ofthe parents saying, because I mean,
this was only one meet. There'sgonna be more meats where this same biological
(21:18):
male will be there to compete, and it seems like the other ladies won't
even have a shot. As acommunity, we feel We're not saying we
do not want him to run atall, we just feel maybe there should
be a transgender category like the BostonMarathon had because I'm not allowing him to
run at all would be a violationof title, mind, which is not
what we want to do. Wejust want these female athletes to have a
(21:44):
level playing ground. That's all wewant. Yeah, but what's been the
reaction to that proposal to the schooldistrict? What are they saying? The
school districts haven't really contacted much withus yet. I did hear at the
NBA had an emergency meeting yesterday,so I'm not sure what's going to come
of that. Tigan. Do youworry that if we continue down this path
that female sports won't I do.Yes, If we continue, we're advocating
(22:10):
for men to dominate female sports, and that's not what we want. We
want female sports to be empowering foryoung women. Yeah. Of course those
on the opposite side try to framethis as you guys being hateful, but
you're saying that you want a categoryfor the tranth athletes. We just wanted
to protect female sports. We're goingto be following me. Thank you so
much for getting up this morning andtelling us her sister's store. Thank you
(22:33):
for having me. Yeah, soFox and Friends got it a little twisted
t Ewings from Holton, Maine camein second, smashing her personal records.
She was fifteen seconds off first placeRuth White from Orno, Maine. Ruth
White broke the main five k record, the fastest time in main history.
So this was her older sister,Teagan Ewings, who used to run track,
who was speaking out to support hersister, and again very brave,
(22:56):
very impressed by her poise. I'mnot a fan of the third category,
the trans category. I'll speak tothat a little more in my follow up
article in a little bit with theRiley Gaines in the rest of this podcast.
But both those videos courtesy Fox Newsare on my main source of truth,
rumble channel. Please give us afollow over there. There are just
tons of videos that you know,if you want to go down the rabbit
hole. I used to have dozensand dozens and dozens more on the YouTube
(23:18):
channel, but they blew up theYouTube channel after I had posted some images
of the graphically pornographic book Gender Queer. It's a memoir. Gender Queer is
a memoir anyway, that's a wholeother subject. Main Principal Association emergency meeting.
Emergency meeting like here we go we'reall freaked out, and I'm going
to give the whole mp A alittle groomer. Alert. I haven't hit
(23:41):
this button for a while. Alert, Loo, more adult, Loo,
more adult. I mean, that'sthat's what is going on here. The
main Principals Association are full of farleft, wackado crazy grooming people. I
want to just kind of continue togo through this and give me a little
bit of background. Also with RileyGaines. On September twenty twenty one,
(24:06):
Gaines was reading an article on swimSwim that mentioned a female who went a
minute forty one in the two hundredyard freestyle. That time was so fast
it was considered a national time andthe name of the swimmer Leah Thomas.
His actual name's William. It wasa name the Gaines didn't recognize because he
never competed against the women. Andso she goes on being a top swimmer
on the collegiate level. You recognizetiptop folks and you know who they are.
(24:30):
I clicked on the article and Iwas like, Leah Thomas, I've
never heard of her. The articleat the time didn't mention anything about her
being transgender. The NCAA avoided makinga firm decision about Thomas's eligibility until three
weeks before the start of the championships. And again we didn't really touch on
this because Riley had a finite amountof time or a short amount of time
to spend with us. But thatdecision didn't sit well with Gaines, just
(24:52):
to give you some background, andshe feels was made out of fear of
backlash. As I've mentioned before, and I will mention again. Until these
people understand and are more scared ofthe parents than the transgender kids' parents,
this will never change. She goeson to say, I don't see I
didn't see how people don't see theblatant issue with it. It has nothing
to do with being transphobic. There'sno doubt that Leah has worked hard and
(25:17):
sacrificed. You can't do this sportand not do those things. But it's
just amazing to me that it gotthis to this point. People are not
fully grasping the severity of it,and Gains believe that allowing male bodied athletes
to participate in women's competitions will destroythe integrity of women's sports and leave women
vulnerable seeing a biological male win anational title in a female sport. That's
(25:40):
an opportunity that so many people couldhave taken advantage of. And unless action
is taken and these things can beimplemented to prevent that from happening. So
this isn't all without personal pain andsuffering. I mentioned the quote early on
at the intro. I can attestto the tears that I witnessed from finishers
who missed being named an All Americanby one place. I can attest to
(26:03):
the extreme discomfort in the locker roomfrom an eighteen year old girl being exposed
to male body parts and having toundress with the male watching in the same
room. Next, I'm going toplay you a video from Capitol Hill and
this was a courtesy of at Womenare Reels on Twitter, and it's his
American hero Riley Gaines. It's basedoff the conversations I've had with girls.
(26:25):
I know I briefly mentioned it inmy testimony, but the overwhelming majority of
those girls who were specifically at thatinn sou Blad Championships where we race with
Leah Thomas, who is of coursea biological male, the overwhelming majority of
us girls felt so uncomfortable. Wefelt betrayed, we felt belittled. It's
(26:47):
of course in the locker room especially, it's awkward, it's embarrassing, it's
again, it's this feeling of thebest words to describe it as traumatic.
No one protected us, no onestood up for us. And so that's
exactly why I'm doing what I'm doingagain. And I was totally thrust it
into this position. This is neversomething I wanted. It's still not something
I want to be doing. YetI find it necessary. But the message
(27:10):
that it sends, it sends themessage that we don't matter, that our
feelings, our safety, our privacy, it doesn't matter. We should smile
and step aside and allow these meninto our spaces, or else you are
a bigot. I want you todescribe to this committee. I was reading
in the second paragraph where and I'mgoing to read it, I discovered that
the overwhelming majority of the girls sharedextreme discomfort being forced to strip down in
(27:36):
front of a male who was intactwith and exposing mail genitalia in the same
room. After seeing how this affectedevery girl at the meet, I decided
to stand up and speak out.I resolved to do everything I could to
ensure that no other girls feel alonein the fight for their right to compete
(27:57):
on a level playing field. Describedthat locker room experience to this committee.
Please, First of all, wewere not forewarned we would be sharing a
changing space. No one told us, no one asked for our consent.
We did not give our consent toundress in front of a male. Yet
the only time we became aware ofthis was when it was presented in front
of us, and it was toolate. So what that kind of looked
(28:18):
like in the vein of being extremelytransparent A six foot four, he's actually
taller than six foot one. Asix foot four male walks in disrobes and
is fully intact with mal Gan totell y'all, well, while we were
simultaneously undressing as eighteen to twenty twoyear old girls and we could do nothing
about it. Actually immediately left thelocker room and I went up to one
of the officials on the pool deckand I said, how is this allowed
to happen? You know, Iunderstand the guidelines for the competition, but
(28:41):
what are the guidelines in regards tothe locker room? And he looks at
me, in word for word says, oh, we actually got around this
by making the locker room's unisex,so it's not a big deal. And
I thought about that in unisex sothis meant that any man could have walked
into our locker room, not justa self identifying female. Any man,
any coach, any parent, anyofficial, any man who wanted to would
(29:03):
have had full access to and bareminimum we weren't forewarned. And actually Leah
Thomas's teammates who dealt with this everysingle day all year, when they express
their discomfort to their administration and theysend an email, and I swear I
have a screenshot of their response, their administration responded back with if you feel
uncomfortable seeing mail Genitalia, here's somecounseling resources that you should seek. And
(29:27):
that's the general consensus of what's happeningaround the country, which is why I
felt it necessary to get in frontof colleges and speak. I think it's
so important to engage people my agetwenty two years old to understand what's happening,
because that's not what you're hearing inthe media. Thank you for your
courage, Please do not give upyour fight, Please do not be afraid
(29:48):
to share your testimony, And thankyou so much, mister chairman, I
yield back. That is you knowour guest today speaking out on Capitol Hill
about what's going on. It's completeinsanity that these people would think that putting
a male in a female locker roomto be exposed, shower, watch them
undress. All this nonsense has anythingto do with trans rights. It has
(30:12):
everything to do with female rights. This next video is a little bit difficult
to really hear because there's a lotgoing on in it, but the headline
here from April seventh, twenty twentythree, from Fox News. Riley Gaines
ambushed and physically hit after saving women'ssports speech at San Francisco State. She
(30:33):
was barricaded in a room and you'llhear about this later on the third floor
of a university building for nearly threehours after the protests began. And here
is the video she posted this.It says the prisoners are running the asylum
at SFSU. I was ambushed andphysically hit twice by a man. This
is proof that women need sex protectedspaces. Still only further assures me that
(30:57):
I'm doing something right. When theywant you silence, speak louder, I
(31:19):
don't talking round the rap ant cantalk about DRAP and I run d I
(31:45):
thought I haven't run le. Soapparently trans rights are human rights. That's
(32:06):
what you're getting out of this, just mayhem. You can go back and
look at Riley Gaines, at RileyUnderscore Gains Underscore on Twitter x and essentially
see that these protesters, just thesepeople, these crazy whack could do far
leftist people. Again, the majorityof the time, the conservative right is
not physically accosting people. They're nothitting people, they're not barricading people into
(32:30):
rooms and not allowing them to leave. But that's what happens to Riley Gaines
when she speaks out because the transcult are mentally unstable and being a leftist
is also a mental illness. We'veseen this for years and years. The
left, the far left, theseradical democrat crazy people, they don't care
(32:51):
about you. If you start tospeak out against their narrative, They're gonna
come after you. They're gonna comeafter your family, You're gonna come after
your kids, going to come afteryour livelihood, They're going to come after
your property. And believe me,I know. And the follow up to
this is that Louis Barker, whois Riley's husband, said He had a
brief conversation with her while she wasbarricaded in a room for nearly three hours.
(33:13):
Quote, she told me she washit multiple times by a guy in
a dress. I was shaking. It made me that mad. It made
me sick to feel so helpless aboutit. Barker said she was under police
protection and was still hit by aman wearing a dress. All right,
I bring on our next guest, and I'm very excited. I really appreciate
her time today. Our next guestis twenty four years old. She stands
(33:36):
five foot seven inches tall, andI know better than to ask her weight,
but suffice to say she's jacked. The product of athletic parents and her
impressive dedication to her sport, shestarted swimming at the age of six in
Florida. She overcame losing her bestfriend at age of sixteen and eating disorders
and body image issues like many youngwomen face today in our country. She
became the twelve time All American swimmerat the University of Kentucky. As a
(33:57):
cutthroughut athlete in freestyle and butterfly, she's competed internationally in the pool, earning
gold medals the twenty twenty two SoutheasternConference Women's Swimming Scholar of the Year.
She had to swim in the NCAAChampionships against a man, a six foot
four inch man William Leah Thomas, who was four hundred and sixty second ranked
in the men's division, and thenessentially busted out and crushed records. On
(34:21):
the female side, she also hadto share a locker room with his junk.
She was told by the NCAA tobe silent, to comply that they
were the problem, not him. She's taken the step forward to speak out
about it, and on the biggeststage there is. She's all about passion,
speed and power in and out ofthe water. She's now a leader
in defending women's single sex spaces, advocating for equality and fairness. She looks
(34:43):
up to men's swimmers, she justdoesn't want to be in the pool competing
beside them. She's appeared before Congressand many committees, and as you heard
earlier, she's willing to hammer outthe truth. She's not just about women's
sports. She also has no issuecalling out the rotting back of oatmeal brains
currently residing in the White House. She's an athlete and advocate, a woman
and we don't needed to find itbecause she's the poster child for what is
a woman. She's also a painterand an artist. She has expressed gratitude
(35:07):
to God providing her with strength andcourage, something we all need so desperately
right now. She's on Twitter atRiley Underscore Gains Underscore and she has some
seven hundred and eighty four thousand followers. She's Riley Baker on Instagram, her
married name as she married a countryBritish boy and they settled down in Tennessee.
If they have babies, that thingis going to be a rocket ship
in the pool. You can followher work at www dot Riley Gaines dot
(35:31):
com. I welcome Riley Gaines Barkerto the Main Source of Truth podcast.
Well, thank you so much forhaving me on. Oh absolutely, el,
this is great and thank you foryour time. You know, impressive
swimming accolades your impact on the sportand as a father, I feel for
your personal loss, you know, based on having to fight in the pool
(35:53):
with you know, a man WilliamLeah Thomas. But because your time is
limited with us today, I kindof want to skip over the tremendous act
kolades and just tackle the issue. And really the first question I guess is
how do we save women's sports?Riley. There's a lot of different avenues
here, what I'm realizing because there'sa lot of different layers to this onion.
(36:13):
There's, of course legislation that's goingon at the state level. We
have twenty three states that have nowpassed some sort of fairness in women's sports
bill, which would of course meanyou compete with the sex you were born
with. So that's great news consideringjust you know, three years ago only
one state had so. So Ithink there's a lot of traction and momentum
there. That being said, there'salso the federal level, where we have
(36:35):
Title nine, and the people inthe White House right now, what they're
doing to Title nine is nothing shortof criminal, to be honest. Yeah,
let me tell me that for therotting back of oatmeal brains, Joe
Biden and the White Hoes. Unfortunately, literally they're totally rewriting Title mind.
So where it's no longer preventing discriminationon the basis of sex, it's preventing
(36:57):
discrimination on the basis of gender identity. That's a lot broader than just women's
sports. That means men can livein dorm rooms with women. Men would
have full access to bathrooms, lockerrooms, changing spaces on campus. Men
could and already are joining sororities.Men could take academic and athletic scholarships away
from women. So it's a lotbigger than just women's sports. So doing
(37:20):
a lot of work at the federallevel to combat that. And then we
also have the specific sport governing bodieswho have policies in place. The IOC,
for example, the International Olympic Committee, they're resorting the same thing with
the NCAA. They're resorting to eachspecific sport to make policies because they're cowards
and they don't want to be responsiblefor anything. And so there's a lot
(37:40):
of different layers. I truth betold what it's going to take to ultimately
get these people in these powerful positionswho are making these rules to realize that
enough is enough and that we're sayingno. We need more people to be
outspoken, especially people with platform, people, female athletes, male athletes with
(38:02):
influence who say kind of like DethannieHamilton did a few months back where she
said, look, I won't becompeting in the World Surf League because of
these policies, and until they're change, that's the status of my involvement with
World Surf League. And I hatethat, but I think it's almost necessary
at this point for people with platformsto take the stand. Yeah, and
we're going to touch on that alittle bit, I think. So there's
(38:23):
two things you mentioned. One mainis one of the bluest, just most
Democrat lockdown states. You're not goingto see a fairness sports bill sponsored here,
at least you know it's never goingto be passed here. But I
would love to get your organization tohelp us out a little bit here.
And this is part of it,is kind of building this relationship. And
really the hashtag save Women's Sports movementgirls young women women athletes. They're gaining
(38:45):
momentum brought forth by what you're doing. And really this whole story about this
young man running in the main fivek cross country race with girls and coming
in fifth. You know, youwere a tremendous help and trying to move
that forward. But the girls shouldn'thave to be dealing with this stuff.
One of the things you just tweetedthe other day and I want to read
it for the listeners was and itrelated to this story in Maine, was
(39:07):
it's always the same story. Anyonewho thinks trans identifying males competing in women's
sports is fair, please show meone example of a female ranking higher against
the men at a competitive level thanshe did in the women's category. So,
I mean, you're right on pointthere, And I saw Michelle ta
Foyer retweeted that, which was awesome. It just seems like there's there's primarily
(39:27):
two female sports that these female impostorsin female blackface continue to show up and
dominate, swimming and running, AndI think that's because there's no physical contact,
where in other sports a male wouldhave a bigger chance to physically injure
a girl and that would get moreattention and probably be ended much more quickly.
But with swimming and running, youknow, the sport that you're closest
to, no big deal because they'rein a lane, right exactly. But
(39:51):
I'll tell you the kind of andit's kind of an individualized sport, whereas
team sports, I think it's adifferent it's a different pro different conversations to
be had. But when you're competing, of course you're on a team,
but you're competing for yourself. Peopleare totally taking advantage of that, and
with it being objective times, itmakes it easy. Again. Looking at
(40:13):
Leah Thomas, Will Thomas, forexample, and the story from Maine where
this this male went from one hundredand seventy second to then you know,
leading fifth forth whatever he was placingthe same thing with Lee Thomas. It's
the same scenario every single time.We don't see this happening the other way.
And where I posted on that tweet, you know, someone give me
(40:35):
one example at a competitive level.I'm not talking about you know, I'm
talking about at the highest level college. And it's not just a girl going
kicking a field goal on a footballteam, you know, which it's not
that I agree with one hundred percent. I mean, apparently the sort of
wokester's here at the main Principals Association, they're all fine with mental injury to
these young women, you know, psychological injury by this trans misogynist in my
(40:58):
opinion, you know, from hisparents and his cool But one of the
things that I got back a lotof feedback that I got on Twitter was
and I want your opinion, what'syour view on creating a trans separate category
for these athletes to swim in orrun in, or you know, compete
against their own quote unquote personally,I think it's it's not sustainable, and
truth be told, it's just anothercategory for men to win it. I
(41:20):
think, in an ideal world,if we lived in a perfect world in
terms of finances and garnering enough peopleto play, garnering enough people to watch
these divisions, I think sure. But we don't live in an ideal world.
And we saw this with swimming thisweek. After all Deliah Thomas controversy,
they had decided to prioritize fairness, which was a bold first step.
(41:43):
They were really FINA, which isthe international governing body of swimming, they
were really the first ones to dosuch, and they said, you know,
if you've gone through mail puberty, you can't compete with women. So
they created a third category. Andif their World Cup this week not a
single entry was entered into the open, I sorry, Berlin, right,
Berlin on Friday. You know theidea of an open category. And again
(42:05):
this you know the female World Aquaticsgroup here in their World Cup. Yeah,
you just don't see it because nowyou know, first off, they're
going to race against their own, which probably in this case is going to
be a bunch of guys. Butthey're not going to get the accolades like
they would accept to come in anddominate on a female side. I mean,
and that's the whole point of yourtweet, really, right, So
right, I agree, it's it'skind of it's nonsensical. There's one hundred
(42:27):
and thirty genders in San Francisco.Does that mean there's one hundred and thirty
different categories and you know I'm goingto compete as a cat this week or
whatever? All right? Second question, should girls boycott? Should these young
women, these minor children boycott andnot compete against the boys. So I
really struggle with this because for thelongest time I said, of course not.
(42:49):
I didn't want to when I wascompeting, right, I thought,
there's no way. I'm I've workedso hard to get to this point and
I'm being asked to sacrifice everything thatI've worked for. We shouldn't be,
as you mentioned, we shouldn't bedealing with this. We need parents to
step in. We need people whoare willing to defend their athletes, like
coaches, defend their daughters, likeparents, People with political power. We
(43:10):
need other people to step in.It shouldn't be left on the shoulders of
young girls and women to really fightthis. But the more I see it
happening, the more it continues, the more I kind of understand the need
for it, because I mean legislation, right, that's ultimately changing policies,
that's ultimately how you make change. But it takes too long, and it
(43:31):
breaks my heart. It breaks myheart shown because every day I get messages
from young girls who are going throughthis, who have no idea what to
do. I get messages from parentswho are terrified again to stand up for
their daughters. I get the messagesfrom the coaches, and it continues to
happen. People think, oh,it's a non issue. No, if
you saw my messages, and itextends beyond even just women's sports, people
(43:54):
who feel violated in locker rooms wheremen are entering. I mean, it
makes my heart physically feel pain. And so we need to curb this as
quickly as possible. And what we'veseen in the past is we've seen boycott
be effective. But I don't thinkit's just the female athletes who should boycott.
I think it's the male athletes whoshould boycott be willing right, I
(44:16):
think it's the coaches who should walkout. It shouldn't be Leu entirely up
to the young girls. They needto know their support there. But I
do think it would be effective insending the message that we're we've had enough,
and I had. I had agrandfather of two young swimmers here in
Maine say first off that you're ahero, and he really appreciates what you've
done, but he knows it's onlya matter of time until a boy is
in the pool with his granddaughters. So he asked me to ask you what
(44:39):
your thoughts are on the silent parentswatching the atrocity as girls' sports are being
destroyed. They are just as complacentas the people who have implemented the policies.
And I know that's a harsh,harsh reality. But parents who aren't
willing to stand up for their youngdaughters as their being again exploited in locker
(45:00):
rooms, potentially being injured in theirsports where there is physical contact, losing
out on opportunities, you're being asellout to your own child. Silence is
complicity. And again I didn't alwaysfeel this way because I understand the risk.
The risks are very real in termsof the backlash and the name calling
(45:21):
and different things. I'm sure you'llget called names, but is it not
worth it to get called names defendingyour daughters, spending up for your children.
I know my parents. I hadto. I had to refrain my
dad from going down there in thelocker room and taking Lea Thomas. I
was going to ask you how yourparents kind of, you know, worked
their way through all this and nowtheir daughter, you know, obviously huge
(45:45):
star in the athletic field, andnow you're a huge star really on the
advocacy front, and so how doyour how did your parents deal with all
that, because I I would havebecome unglued. Yeah, well, uh,
my parents probably weren't too far off. But they know. My parents
know me, they know how I'ma leader, they know that I've always
been someone who's not just going tostand idly by watch and watch an injustice
(46:08):
happened, and so I think thatkind of gave them a little peace of
mind. And I'm just very fortunateto have a strong family foundation. I
think there's so much to be saidabout having two parents that love each other
very much. Growing up in thechurch. I'm just very fortunate for the
background that I have and kind ofthe characteristics that my parents really instilled in
(46:30):
me. Yeah, moral fiber foundationis so important, and that's something that
I've I've certainly found out more abouthere recently. But to me, parents
is kind of like a three partanswer. You know, there's a lack
of awareness. I say that nineout of ten parents and me and have
no idea what I'm talking about. And I've had you know, global news
stories over the last three and ahalf years and been on all lot of
shows. But I think that's bydesign, Like the left is inundatus with
(46:52):
so much stuff like overloaded for parents, and so it's trying to put your
finger in the whole of a sinkingship, like the school are going down,
right. And then the second pieceto me is parents have been in
doctrinated themselves, either you know, through the last couple generations of school folks
now having kids, or they becomesheep, like you know, the whole
Covid sheep scenarios thing. And untilwhat I find, until evil knocks on
(47:15):
your door, you don't believe itcan happen to you. And at that
point it's probably too late, SoI agree with one hundred percent. You
know, parental silence is the exactsame thing as approval. Silent Americans are
the reason we're in such like thisdeath spiral right now when it comes to
women's sports. And you know, one of the things I want to see
is if we can get the hashtaghashtag way to cheat bro trending, Like,
I want you to use that aspart of the hashtag save Women's Sports
(47:38):
battle and maybe somebody can make ussome T shirts or something. But I
really appreciate your time. I knowit's a finite amount of time you have.
But any updates on your situation andthe alleged I guess there's a lawsuit
against William Leah Thomas. Is thereanything you can share with the listeners on
how that's progressing. Yeah, SoI personally am not following a lawsuit again,
(48:00):
Thomas. I am involved in somelitigation in some other places, though,
the San Francisco incident where I wasattacked, where the police did nothing
because they were terrified. Even thepolice were terrified to do their job,
the university doubled down. I meanI was ambushed, I was held,
I mean I was kidnapped for fourhours. I mean they held me for
(48:20):
ransom, demanding that I had topay the money if I wanted to make
it home to see my family.I didn't know that part. I read
the article about you were barricaded ina room, but I thought you did
that on your own volition. No. No, they certainly held me there
and I feared for my life inthis moment. There's a couple other pieces
of litigation involving some different libelous piecesand just different things where people for too
(48:42):
long have gotten away with it.You know, they think the Ncuba,
for example, we're pursuing legal actionthere because they think that no one will.
But what they did was explicitly violatetitle mind. They're breaking on the
fact that no one will push back. So I think it's necessary. Just
as we talked about boycotts and differentthings, I think litigation from detransitioners from
(49:06):
I think litigation is necessary to sendthe message that I mean, you have
to hit them where it hurts, and it's been proven. Beside blad light,
I have three active lawsuits right nowagainst one school district suing me for
exposing a transgender library display, anda bunch of other garbage I'm having to
sue another one for First Amendment rights, and I'm suing the same one who's
suing me for freedom of access violations. And so I agree the litigation has
(49:28):
to happen. The main Principals Associationin this case has to be sued for
Title nine. Jumping forward a littlebit, are you still training for the
twenty twenty four Olympics? So Itrained in twenty sixteen and qualified and twenty
twenty which actually turned into twenty twentyone and qualified. I've decided that it's
not in my future to continue competitiveswimming, just because of the time that
(49:52):
it takes and I don't have thattime really fighting for this now. So
still staying active, still running marisand triaffons and different things, but I
do not believe I will be trainingfor the Olympics. No, no,
And God bless you for doing that. I mean, that's that is a
hard part. Like again, youknow you said you've got to speak louder,
and so you know, using yourvoice. I think you know God
(50:14):
has provided you a calling like Ibelieve it gave me, and and you
know you're kind of following your heartand your mind and and your faith and
and so that's that's very important.So I appreciate that. What's the best
place for folks to follow your work? You can follow my work on my
Twitter it's Riley Underscore Gains Underscore.I also have a website it's Rillygainscenter dot
(50:35):
org, where it's a training programto help really train and inspire and equip
leaders with the correct resources and communicationtools and different things to be able to
feel bold fighting back. Now.It's amazing, and I really I appreciate
your time. I mean again, please keep being a hero for you know,
not only girls, but all ofAmerica. I mean, you're very
special, You're very strong, andI'm really honored to have a chance to
(50:58):
talk with you today. Well,I hit you and the work that you
do in a in a place whereit's probably not always welcome. It's easy
for me to do living in Tennesseewhere everyone back there. Yeah, come
on, we'll check you. Yeah. No, I appreciate. I'm gonna
put you on hold again. Thankyou for your time, and then we'll
chat a second off the air.You got it. Thank you. That
(51:21):
was really an honor to be ableto talk to Riley Gaines and really try
to identify some of the cause ofthese issues switch again, in my opinion,
lack of parents speaking out. It'sas easy as that. Riley Gaines
has a lot of information, alot of great resources online. She has
the Riley Gains Center at the LeadershipInstitute. You can go and find a
competition report on the www dot IWFdot org slash Competition Dash Report site.
(51:46):
You can have inquiries at info atkeep Women's Sportsfemale dot com, and you
can also donate. So people don'treally understand this takes a tremendous amount of
effort for someone at this aliber,Riley Gaines, to really continue to roll
down this road. As you heard, she's sacrificing her athletic career to help
(52:07):
all of you folks out there, you young women, you know, moms
and dads and people so that theycan have the sports that they deserve.
You can donate to protect female athletesat the Independent Women's Forum and you can

(52:28):
want to leave you with another videofrom Riley Gaines Independent Women's Forum spokesperson,
and this is titled leading the Fightfor Women. Hello, I'm twelve time
All American in double A swimmer RileyGaines. I also work for the Independent
Women's Forum. Last year, Iwas forced to swim in the NSTUBA Championships
against transgender athlete Leah Thomas. Notonly were my teammates and the other female
(52:50):
swimmers and I forced to compete againstthe six foot four biological man, but
we were also forced, without ourconsent, to share a locker room and
undress in front of him. Andwhat happened when female athletes complained, Well,
we were told to be silent. When told to be silent, I
think the best response is to speakeven louder. They've allowed boysomen to play
girls and women's sports, to takeathletic scholarships away from us, and to
(53:14):
undress in women's restrooms and locker rooms. This has to stop now. Independent
Women's Form has taken the lead andis embarking on a massive public education and
grassroots activation project that will stop thisoutrageous attack on women. I encourage you
to stand with us to protect yourdaughters, and your sisters and your granddaughters
from a future in which women areraised. Please do what you can right
(53:36):
now by clicking the link and donatingto IWF today. Now is the time
we have to speak louder. Justawesome, So stand with Riley, speak
louder. This is something that weall need to do. We all need
to take a step forward. Iappreciate listening to the podcast. You can
download this anywhere you listen on anyof the sites, and I really appreciate
