The age of superheroes is over! When a mysterious catastrophe causes the capes and masks of River City to lose their powers, Marvelous Man and Professor Peril face their biggest challenge yet... losing their privilege.

Marvelous Man (AKA: Dominic Taylor) must learn to cope with losing his powers How can our hero fight when everything hurts? Professor Peril (AKA: Patrick Pritchard) parts ways with his henchman who's tired of his abuse and has to get past the angry crowds ready to dish out vigilante justice. Intrepid reporter April Anderson investigates the mystery, but she gets scooped by her sauntering rival, Claire Cornwallis. Morally gray anti-hero Iron Maiden robs a bank and is pursued by both Marvelous Man and Professor Peril, desperate for her help.
