this meditation has been specifically created to inspire your subconscious
into positive action and so guide you to your personal
path for transformation. So as we relax even deeper and
start to focus on the sounds of my voice, the

sounds behind my voice. As you continue to drift, the
most important concept to remember is a power of repetition.
Your brain creates transformation more powerfully and more easily and
more automatically every time you are repeatedly relaxing your body

(02:49):
and breathing deeply and listening to this audio and focusing
on the sound of my voice and thinking the thought
you're thinking, which means we can trust that you're unconscious.
The most powerful part of your mind already knows what

(03:10):
to do, So if they're not already, go ahead and
close your eyes and make sure you're in a comfortable position.
Lay back enough to relax, Take care your spine is
straight to allow the energy to move through your body

(03:37):
easily and quickly. Set aside the next twenty minutes or so.
No cell phones, no to do lists, no obligations, no distractions,
no interruptions. This is your time. You are choosing to

(03:59):
create this time, in this space of intentional healing for
yourself automatically allows you to receive powerful benefits from that
part of you that already knows what it knows. You're
subconscious already knows exactly how to create this transformation for you.

And as you take three nice, deep breaths, breathing out slowly,
nice and loose, calm and comfortable, releasing, letting go every breath,

allowing you to be more deeply comfortable, deeply relaxed, And
as you breathe in, you can get a sense of
the cleansing, rushing oxygen entering your body, moving from the

(05:12):
lungs into the body, bringing healing and harmony to every
selling your body, every fiber of your being, increasingly aware
of your natural ability to relax and let go. And

that deep sense of comfort continues to move through the
solar plexus to the midback, brost the chest, the other
back and down over the shoulders, biceps, elbows, four arms, wrists,

and fingers, relaxing, nice, loose, calm, releasing, letting go, and

(07:15):
that peaceful tranquility continues to move into the neck and
on the backside of your head, cleansing your mind and
relaxing the ground of your head, across the forehead and

(07:35):
gently down over the eyelids. The facial muscles, your muscles,
and the physical body relaxes totally and completely. Emotions in

(07:58):
the mind, calm. That's right. So in a moment, I
will ask you to take the first of three deep breaths,
not just yet, For now you can continue to relax

(08:23):
and make sure you're comfortable to follow my instructions. So
make yourself comfortable now, and notice your breathing, the gentle
rise and form that happens all itself. And go ahead

(08:46):
and take a nice deep breath on it for a
moment and let it over the side as if you
were sat relaxed alone after a long, hard day. And

(09:10):
then another nice deep breath, holding it a little longer
this time, that's it, and let it go. Relaxation, spreading
deeper and deeper into your body. And now that last breath,

(09:36):
holding it even longer. Now feel your chest stretching and
let it go, closing your eyes all the way down.
Every breath you take, every word I say, guiding you

(09:57):
deeper and deeper. So now that is your breathing, the
gentle rise and form that happens all by itself. That
gentle rhythm of your body. As you focus your attention

(10:24):
on your breathing. Now, my voice will go with you
as you relax. You don't have to make any effort
at all. Simply let go. You can notice your pulse,

(10:45):
the beating of your own heart. Allow yourself to become
more and more absorbed in the life the energy of
your body. I'd like you to notice now where you

(11:05):
feel the most comfort in your body most at ease.
Drop your shoulders a little more with each out breath
until they feel quite relaxed. If your shoulders dropped, but

(11:27):
that easing and comfort run down your arms, down your body,
let it even go into your legs, and let that
comfortable feeling run all the way to your feet. You

(11:54):
can notice words. Notice noticing words, You can what is.
Your body can relax, and your mind can relax. Your
breathing carries on all by itself, Your mind carries on

(12:14):
thinking all by itself, and you can just watch it
wander away. Your experience, your understanding, your awareness can just
attach and slow down, and my voice can be soothing,

(12:38):
can comfort you and ease your mind. And as you
continue to relax, I wonder if you can imagine now
that you are a beautiful beach somehow knowing this is

(13:05):
your beach. You are alone and safe and nobody and
nothing can harm you, no one can disturb you. The
brilliant white sand stretches out as far as your eyes
can see. It's the end of the day and the

(13:35):
sun is beginning to set. The sun is low in
the sky, a big yellow ball at first, but changing,
changing before your eyes into a darker yellow. And the

(13:55):
deeper and deeper the sun goes down, the more the
color changes, until it becomes a deep orange, like a
giant or the fire on the horizon, and the sky

(14:16):
all around it also changing colors, changing from yellow to orange.
It's pink and then a darker pink powerple, and then
all these colors mixing, spreading rides across the sky in

(14:43):
front of you as far as the eye can see,
and you can just make out the faint headline of
islands far out into the distance. It's so hard to

(15:05):
see where the land finishes when the skyline starts, but
you know they're they're And as you walk slowly towards

(15:26):
the ocean, just enjoying the feeling of the warm sand
on your feet, slowly becoming cooler further as you near
the water. The gentle whisper of the waves lapping onto

(15:58):
the shore, back and forth, back and forth, a calm sound, soothing,
a constant reminder of well being and relaxation. And as

(16:26):
you stand there marveling at the deep sense of peace
and tranquility that sweeps over you, embracing you, enjoying the
self gentle grease against your face. It's a perfect temperature

(16:48):
just for you. And you've been just wonderful. And you
know when you stand up on the beach, you can
choose to le your eyes, taking the whole scene around

(17:10):
you where you can adjust your eyes, like looking through
a pair of binoculars. Do you want to look at
the syp as the tide rolled in and out, waves

(17:32):
and furling and withdrawing. If that absorbs your attention, you
will not be noticing the seagull that twists and twirls
above your head, even though it emits air piercing Colm.

(17:57):
Or will you look out to the horizon, that hard
blue line where sky and sea meat. Well, that's absorbed
your focus, your attention. Or perhaps a board cutting through
the water, maybe that will take your attention. Foam spray

(18:22):
flying up its boughs, and seagulls clustered whirling low over
the deck. In the case of a chance to still
some from the catch, you can choose to focus on

(18:44):
any of these things, or maybe the pebbles beneath you,
the different colors and shapes, perhaps feeling the texture in
your fingertips. The choices are you once you choose to
give your attention. When you're at a concert, perhaps a

(19:09):
rock concert, you hear the whole sound, carried by the sound,
feeling it poles thing through your body. But you can
also choose to focus within the sound, breaking the sound

(19:30):
down and focusing on the lead guitar and the rest
of the sound. Steps back a little, where you can
focus on those drums, that rhythmic, intense beat following it closely,

(19:53):
or the accompanying bass guitar. You can choose to let
the whole sound pulse through you, or give one instrument
more of your attention, more choices that come your way.
And if you are standing to hear this concert, you

(20:16):
are aware of how long you have been standing. Are
you moving to the music? Do you do this instinctively
or are you aware of each small movement as each
foot is lifted in turn, your arms perhaps moving at

(20:38):
your side or swaying in the air when you are clapping.
Do you notice the slight, sharp discomfort as they meet,
or are you so engrossed in the sound that you
do not notice that small discomfort. We have a choice

(21:03):
upon which we focus. I wonder if you have had
the experience of having a headache or a pain somewhere,
and the phone rings, and you have a really interesting conversation,
and for a while, all awareness of that headache goes away.

(21:27):
It is only after you put the phone down and
probe around and search for the awareness of that headache.
You search for it, then you begin to notice it again.
What we give our attention to grows and becomes dominant.

(21:52):
Whether it is a thought or a feeling. You can
feed the pain, fan the names of it by giving
it all your attention, or you can starve it of
your attention, like starving a fire of oxygen. Whether it

(22:14):
is a thought, a feeling, an awareness, a sensation, you
can choose. It is up to you. There is a
Native American Indian story that you may have heard. It's
one of those apocryphal stories where a grandfather is teaching

(22:35):
his grandson about like He tells his grandson that there
is a fight between two walls going on inside him.
One was unhappy and troubled, the other contented and peaceful.
When asked which wolf will win the fight, their grandfather said,

(23:00):
it will be the wolf that he feeds. So choose
carefully what you feed in your mind, the ideas that
you feed, with your attention and focus, your awareness. It
is entirely up to you, no one else but you.
