to relax and let go, make sure you find a
place where you won't be disturbed for the next little while.
Make sure your spine is straight, as this will allow
your energy to move through your body. You can know

the first step to enjoying a loving kindness meditation is
when you take a deep breath and hold it for
a moment, letting it go with a sigh, letting go
of any tension, any stress, every word I say, every

breath you take, guiding you deeper and deeper all the
way down. And as you continue to relax even deeper,
you might notice the sounds outside the room, those distant
(03:19):
sounds that just seemed to drift in the air, no
labels or recognition, just noticing those sounds drifting on the
air as if hearing them for the very first time,

And then noticing the sounds inside the room, those sounds
drifting around you, no need to try and recognize them,
just let them drift in the air all around you,
almost as if you can watch those sounds floating in

the air as you continue to drift deeper and deeper
within yourself. Noticing the sound of my voice, the sounds
behind my voice. As you continue to relax, my voice

will comfort you, ease you take you deeper and deeper
within yourself. You can notice any fragrances, some distance, some close,

Those beautiful fragrances dancing so great fully you need to
wonder what they are, just enjoying the fragrances drifting on
the air. Now. I don't know how you'll find yourself

enjoying that genuine and authentic love for people and the
situations around you, but you do, and that's what's most important.
So as you continue to relax, you can repeat the
words silently in your mind as they are spoken. I

am worthy of love and kindness. I choose to love
and accept myself just as I am. My heart is
becoming full with passion and understanding. I am grateful for

my life and all its blessings. I am enough, and
I am deserving of happiness. All beings are deserving of
love and kindness. I send loving thoughts to those who

are struggling. I choose to see the good in everyone
and everything. I am grateful for the people in my
life and the positive impact they have. I wish everyone peace, happiness,

and inner harmony. The world is a beautiful and sacred place.
I am learning. I am already connected to the natural
world and its rhythms. I choose to take care of

the planet and all its creatures. I am grateful for
the beauty and wonder of the world around me. Challenges

have the strength and resilience to overcome any obstacle. I

And as you let those words drift through your mind
and body, a constant reminder of the transformation you can enjoy,
you can get a sense of the beginning of a
new energy, maybe small at first, as it begins to

grow right there in the thumb on your right hand.
Times that energy slowly moving through your hand, up through
your wrist, your elbow, through your right shoulder, and all
(08:59):
the way down the right side of your body and
even into your right leg pace through your ankle into
your foot and all the toes on your right foot.
Notice that energy now in the thumb on your left hand,

slowly moving through the fingers of your hand, up through
your arm, your shoulder. Are you bringing down to your ribs?
Your pelvert through your left leg challenges the opportes down
into your foot and all the toes on your left foot.

Have the strength. Notice now that gentle energy moving across
your head. I shouldn't understand all the muscle in your forehead,
I agree, Just tell them to relax, the comfort, relief

la learning to approach. Notice the muscles around your ry relaxing,
letting go, the bundles of nerves behind your eyes, just relaxing.

Notice how those nerves go all the way into the
center of your mind and relaxing deeper, still deeper within yourself.
Notice the muscles around your ears, the muscles inside your ears,

just relaxing. Those the muscles around your mouth, everyone and everything,
just letting go your jaw, relaxing, drifting open, resting. I

wish everyone peace. That relaxation you have created drifting down
your chest, your stomach, even into your legs. Connected that relaxation,
that new energy drifting to your whole body and all
(11:44):
these creatures. Now, just for a moment, I'd like you
to focus on your breathing, the gentle rise and fall
of your chest, opportunities for growth. Just allow yourself to
take a deeper breath all the way in and hold
(12:08):
it for a moment. Difficulties, kindness, letting it go with
a sigh. By noticing the beating of your heart, the
blood moving through your veins, the touch signals along your arm,
(12:32):
the natural rhythm of your body. As you allow yourself
to become more and more absorbed in the life, the
energy of your body, you can notice my word. Notice
(12:54):
noticing my words, and you can notice your body can
relax and your mind relaxed, and your breathing carries on
all by itself. Your mind carries on thinking all by itself,

and you can just watch it wander away. Your experience,
your understanding, your awareness can just detach and slow down,
and my voice can be soothing, can comfort you and
(13:40):
ease your mind as my voice goes with you. As
you drift deeper and deeper within yourself that it did.
You just begin to get a sense of your heart
(14:01):
beating and begin to notice that it isn't just blurred
being pumped around the body. Notice how there is a healing,
loving light blowing to your body and mind that I
have the strength. And notice how this energy is bulsating
(14:25):
with each beat of the heartiness and beginning to radiate
out from the self. As you observe that energy flowing out,
notice how that loving kindness begins to interact with the
energy of others. It begins to feed in pleasure and
(14:50):
healing and a connection with those that it touches. And
get a sense of that loving kindness being transmitted into
the hearts and souls of every loving being. Allowing yourself
to see and connect with the inner beauty of others.
(15:14):
And in a moment, I will go silent, and when
I do, the transmission of healing loving kindness can intensify,
and you can begin to absorb the loving kindness given
(15:34):
off by others. I choose to see the good and
you know what it feels like to be truly an
unconditionally loved and the positive import And as you begin
to recall that, now, while that heart continues to beat,
(15:55):
you can intensify the feeling of loving kindness, and you
know what it feels like to love truly and deeply.
And as these thoughts of all the times in your
(16:15):
life you have felt a deep sense of love and
all the times you have felt deeply loved, you can
take that feeling, feed it into your heart, and allow
it to be pumped out into the world around you.
I trust that I have, and this loving kindness that
(16:37):
permeates you and spreads out from you, you can continue
indefinitely understand, and you can see the inner beauty you know.
There is an old story about a Buddhism monk who
went to a temple and took his expensive new shoes
(16:59):
off at the door. After he had finished praying, he
returned to the door, only to notice his shoes were missing.
The monk calmly left the temple and went home. When
he arrived, he was asked where his shoes were, and
(17:20):
the monk replied that they were taken. He was asked,
didn't that make you angry? No, replied the monk. I
can only apologize to the thief that I have created.
Had I not worn such expensive shoes, I would never
(17:42):
have tempted a less fortunate person to feel the need
to Still and you two can discover how every unkind
act leads you to feel a sense of compassion and
understanding and loving kindness to others, and the positive and
silence can intensify that. Right now, wish everyone happiness. Speaking

so before you allow yourself to drift up completely into
conscious weak aleerness, or maybe you might choose to drift

into sleep to let the lessons communicate at a deeper
level opportunities. It may be useful for you to utilize
the opportunity now to think about what you've experienced, the thoughts,
images and understandings, and how you might use these things

later on, from one day to the next, because you
have an unconscious mind and you have a conscious mind,
and those two minds can learn from your experiences here
to day some things you can utilize to deal more
(19:19):
effectively with those things that have been challenges for you before.
So as you relax and see your own hand moving
across the blank page as it writes the words, I
am learning to approach life and others with a positive
(19:44):
attitude of loving kindness. And as you finish writing the words,
you can go ahead and see yourself signing your name
in your own golden signature, And so before you begin
to continue to drift up into conscious awareness, normal wakeful awareness,
(20:12):
or maybe let your mind and body drift in to sleep,
it is your privilege to use this time to become
more aware of those things you can use later on,
those learnings, abilities, and skills you may have overlooked before,
(20:34):
to give you a new view of the possibilities for
a new way of thinking and feeling and doing things.
That's right, you take some time now, a brief time
that seems to be a long time, to review and
plan at some level of awareness, those things you will
(20:56):
do later on, those things you may change later on
as you begin to use more and more of you.
And you can use that time now because in a
few moments from now, when you drift up and awaken,
or maybe let your mind and body drift into a
(21:19):
relaxing sleep, it might be interesting for you to know
that in that drifting, relaxed date of mind, with thoughts
drift by, like dreams will enter awareness for a time
and drift through the mind, while some are left behind
(21:41):
to be utilized later on, and others are remembered or
seem to be remembered at first, but then become more
and more distant, forgotten over time, and the entire experience
can seem so far away as your unconscious mind protects
(22:04):
the conscious mind and leaves those things behind forgotten, but
remembered too, and time changes too, so you can know
what a transformation it's been when you begin to know
what seemed to take a short time turns out to
(22:24):
have been a long time, and what seemed to be
a long time was really no time at all. So
for now, whenever you wish to return to your normal world,
you can just count from one to five as you're awakened,
(22:44):
or perhaps you might drift into a deep and relaxing
sleep to let all these messages think even deeper. Assass
