Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hello, this is money Marcy reaching out to you on
my preview episode of Marcie Talks Money and Life. I'm
a CPA with over thirty years of experience in accounting.
I have had clients with a wide range of financial circumstances,
no matter where they fall in the financial spectrum, there
is always more to learn. Those of you who know
(00:24):
me from my social media, books, speaking engagements or podcast
guesting are familiar with the content. I will be discussing
no surprises, money in life. I'm excited about the opportunity
to create a podcast and looking forward to the collaboration
with a wide variety of guests, including you. All roads
(00:46):
lead through finance, whether we realize it or not. So
many decisions we make in life involve a financial component.
I look forward to having the discussions that will enlighten
us all about the various money decisions we face every day.
I hope to reduce the stigma of talking about money.
Let's talk about money and lessons we have learned along
(01:08):
the way. Maybe the stories you share are about how
you were raised and taught about money, or about how
you are raising your children and talking about money with them.
Maybe it is lessons you learned the hard way, or
lessons you were able to gain from watching other people's
challenges or victories. My goal is to help you improve
(01:31):
your relationship with money by removing the taboo about the
conversations that help us learn. I'm looking for guests from
financial professionals through financial novices to share their stories. I
want to hear from you, whether you have debt or
have never had a credit card. Your thoughts and ideas
(01:51):
about money are welcome, though I won't guarantee to always
agree with you. I want to talk to people about
how they got into their careers, the costs and challenges
of the education or training that they had to negotiate.
Whether you knew what you wanted to be when you
were five years old and followed a direct path, or
(02:11):
if you changed careers many times before you ended up
where you are now, which might not be your ending position.
Much like my social media, I will be talking about
interviewing for jobs and job benefits from both sides, helping
to create more comfortable places in your families or relationships.
(02:33):
To talk about money saving, investing, managing expenses, financial topics
that may be more specific to individuals from a particular situation.
And money issues that are common to everyone's lives. Let
me hear from you, whether you are a podcast veteran
or someone considering their first guesting spot, reach out so
(02:56):
we can have a conversation about money. Contact me at
marciat moneymarcy dot com and let me know if you're
interested in talking about money and life. I'm looking forward
to this adventure. Let's talk about money.
