Speaker 1 (00:00):
Upcycling cutting boards. As soon as I saw this idea,
I thought, this is kind of nice. But to be honest,
I thought, does anybody use wooden cutting boards anymore? I
know chefs and people who love to cook mite use
cutting boards made out of wood. It is ever becoming
so rare to find cutting boards that are made out

(00:20):
of wood. First of all, wouldn't cutting boards require certain
amounts of maintenance while still in use, like thorough cleaning
to avoid contamination, and some people apply wax to their
boards to preserve them. Again, beyond my area of expertise
or knowledge, most of us use. Most of us use
the more modern version of some kind of cutting board

(00:40):
that is meant to be more sanitary and easy to
clean and last longer. But just for those who actually
have a courting board made out of wood, here are
some ideas of how to upcycle them if you no
longer use them. You can make a clipboard by simply
gluing a clip towards the top of the board. Always

(01:02):
use glue that can hold well for this kind of project,
as this clipboard is heavier when finished than a regular clipboard.
You can also use a clipboard as a wall decoration
to hang you tentals like serving spoons from it. How
about a plant stand with legs made out of pieces
of wood glued on the bottom. How about a miniature

(01:24):
table with long legs legs attached at the bottom, or
a makeup trade to keep some of your health and
beauty as or cosmetics contained in one place. I also
saw cutting boards used as welcome signs or number signs,
or just wall decorations. Always remember that you should sanitize
these cutting boards and once upcycle, they should not be

(01:47):
used to repair or place any food directly on them.
Well for now, remember that life is about possibilities, not impossibilities.
Till next time, stay well,
