Speaker 1 (00:00):
Upcycling fabric scraps. Well, now this is where we come
to more fun stuff. How to make piece of those
pieces of leftable fabric from a sware project. If you
sew of fabric in general from clothing, you're no longer
wear blankets, quilt and so forth. One of my favorites

(00:22):
would be a quilt I have seen made out of
small sweatshirts. But there are other items such as a
braided rug, beach weare, dresses made out of towels, wall art,
art dresses, skirts, bags for carrying things like small groceries,
or other items like headbands made out of ties, stuffed animals, dolls,

(00:45):
a pin cushion for your needles. Some of the most
impressive dresses were made from old tablecloths. Imagine all that
lace as part of a dress. For those who do
any kind of gardening, how about a to carry your
fruits and vegetables after picking them. How about sachets to
put scent the flowers or herbs in, And how about

(01:09):
Christmas decorations. But don't forget the really smaller pieces of fabric.
They can be made into eye masks, podtholders, hair scrunchies,
and just imagine all the things you can do as always,
the things you can upcycle from fabric scraps big and

(01:32):
small is limitless. Well, for now remember that life is
about possibilities, not impossibilities. Till next time, stay well,
