Speaker 1 (00:00):
Upcycling key chains. A while back, I had done a
podcast episode about upcycling keys. At the time, it did
not occurred to me to do an episode about upcycling keychains.
But the other day I was looking at charms and
keychains and it gave me the idea all all the

(00:22):
beautiful keychains you could make just by upcycling keychains. You
can handcraft all kinds of items, such as and attaching
them to chain persons, homemade hearts, left of charms from
other jewelry, letters or numbers, game pieces like scrabble, homemade

(00:44):
figures like butterflies. Another interesting idea was the use of
ropes to attach a key chain, and the ropes they
are used are very colorful and gave the ordinary keychain
a pop up color. For those of you who may
have some old CDs, you can actually cut them and

(01:05):
make unique figures in like the form of animals or
other shapes and out of this CDs and make a
unique keychain out of that. I tried once or twice
working with some old CDs. Personally, I am not good
at at it at all. Perhaps I wasn't using the

(01:26):
right tools for cutting. But if you do decide to
use CDs always follow the instructions on how to cut
and handle them. One of the most precious to me
when I was looking around was where a piece of
map was placed inside of plastic casing and attached to
the keychain. This could have so many meanings as a

(01:47):
way to remember, to remember a special place, a special memory,
et cetera. Well, for now, remember that life is about possibilities,
not in possibilities. Till next time, stay well,
