Upcycling sweaters.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Sweaters are one of those clothing items that most of
us have or maybe depending on the type of climate
we live in. I have visited places where it is
quite warm all year long, but there is a couple
of months where sweater comes in handy. So here we
have some sweaters not too worn out, and we wonder

(00:23):
what can we make with them?

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Well, you upcycle them, of course, and you name it.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
There are so many things you can make out of
a sweater, aside from making pretty nice pillows and I
have made one of those, there are endless possibilities you
can make with a sweater. Do you have a pet,
do you want to make an outfit for them? You
can do this by using a sweater. How about making
a quilted blanket out of sweaters or taking parts of

(00:56):
a sweater and restyling it into a different outfit. As
a matter of fact, upsicking clothing is becoming a thing
as well as a fashion statement. Of course, some of
us are not designers, but love to create craftic things
like stuff, animals, bags, home decorations like a snowman, or

pumpkins made out of sweaters.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
I haven't seen small area of.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Rugs made out of sweaters, hats, and headbands. I have
a person taking a sweater apart in order to reuse
the yarn and make something completely different, something completely new
from it. In fact, I was able to make several
items out of one sweater.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
I was able to make a pillow and a small
round floor mat.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Imagine that something you would discard would turn into these
