Speaker 1 (00:00):
Love. It's a cup of coffee for a first date
a bad idea. The other day, someone showed me a
video of a woman who said a guy had asked
her out for a couple of coffee and she declined.
She then showed that she had brought herself a cup
of coffee and other items at a total cost of

(00:22):
about twenty five dollars. She said she shouldn't be judged,
but that she could buy herself a cup of coffee
and I guess all these other snacks and items herself.
I have also heard that some younger people are upten
to go out for coffee as a first date due
to financial constraints. What do you think should a first

(00:43):
date be just a cup of coffee or full on dinner,
dessert or other venue or the movies plus dinner. This
is my take. I think a cup of coffee is
the best in my mind. It can be sort of
short along depending how the conversation is going you feel
you know if you feel there is a connection and

(01:03):
leaves no hard feelings because each of you can go
your own separate ways ways with very little time or
with more time, depending on how you feel about the date. Now,
the second date and the level of interest should be
more thoughtful. This is where you have to decide what
kind of person you may be dealing with. How concerned

(01:23):
are you about the financial situation? Is this person worth
your investment and time in time and potential emotions? But
the second date, if the person doesn't deliver on some
key points, it is still a good time to bail out.
To me, good dating is a process, not the ultimate destination.

(01:46):
Rejecting someone because they only ask you out for coffee
is flawed in my opinion. Now, on the other hand,
you meet a multi billionaire, maybe he could do more
than a couple of coffee with no strings attached for
that first date. Well for now, remember that although life
may bring you many storms, love always wins. Till next time,

(02:11):
stay well,
