Speaker 1 (00:00):
Love. What the birds in nature tell us about love?
What the birds in nature that really tell us about love?
For the longest time, we only understood love from the
idea and behavior un be is engaging. Of course, these
behaviors vary from culture to culture, depending on what the
customs and quite frankly, what the particular needs of an

(00:23):
environment may dictate. But let us take swans. Everyone knows
that swans represent fidelity, lifelong partnership and really has been
proven to happen anywhere swans are, no matter the environment
or the circumstances. How about another set of feather friends.

(00:43):
Most of us know well about the Mandarin ducks. By now,
most people know that Mandarin ducks hold a special place
in Chinese culture as once again a representation of life,
long partnership and fidelity. But wait, the other day I
found another pair of feather friends who also believe in

(01:05):
lifelong partnerships and fidelity. And they are the Red Cardinals.
If you have ever seen red cardinals, they are a
vision to behold. They are so bright and bread and
although from my experience you hardly see them if you
live in a city. I didn't know that they too
believe in this lifelong partnership. The male in fact has

(01:27):
to prove his worthiness by putting food into the female's
mouth to show that he cannot only feed her, but
any offspring they may have. When the male is feeding
the female, it looks just like a kiss. So if
we thought that we were unique as humans in our
search for fidelity and lifelong bliss, we were wrong. So

(01:50):
for now remember that although life may bring you many storms,
love always wins. Till next time, stay well,
