Speaker 1 (00:00):
Love. What happens when love fails. The other day someone
showed me what would be a very sad story. A
little boy in an African country was abandoned because his
mother and village believed he was a witch. The boy
was found wandering the streets at around age two by
a humanitarian worker who dedicates herself to these types of

(00:22):
children whose families are either dead or have abandoned them
for various reasons. The child was taken to a hospital
and he remained there for a number of months, as
he was reportedly near death at the time he was found. Eventually,
this woman found a place for him to live and thrive,
and he is in fact doing quite well. Most of

(00:43):
us would say, how can a mother do that? How
can strangers do that? It is interesting that our concept
of love is one that does not give up, no
matter what the odds are. But this isn't just something
that happens due to believes in a small country in
a far away It happens all the time, even in
the most western countries and the world filled with resources,

(01:06):
or at least enough resources to feed, clothe, and provide
medical care. Yet we see this happen all the time.
We see it happen when families turn against each other,
leaving each other without resources or even stealing from from them.
We see the partners people, partners whose people believe we

(01:28):
can trust and selling they leave, leaving all the responsibilities
behind as if that life never existed. Yes, what apparently
seems like love can be in fact something that fails.
The reasons only those who fail us can truly say,
But I do believe that somehow it opens the door

(01:50):
for true love to flourish and come forward. It is
never a good thing to see the things we see,
but it is always good to see you. When love
makes all the difference between life and death, happiness and despair,
true love doesn't fail us people do. The solution is
when you can move forward towards are those truly capable

(02:13):
of showing the love you deserve. Sometimes life itself moves
you towards the right place and right people. Well for now,
remember that although life may bring you many storms, love
always wins. Till next time, stay well,
