De todos los mensajes a las siete iglesias, ésta es la que más me preocupa. Podemos llegar a hacer todas las cosas correctas, pero aún así estas buenas obras pueden llegar a ser vacías delante de Dios. Sería como un esposo que mecánicamente compra flores para su esposa en su aniversario pero es más un hábito que una expresión de amor. Dios quiere que seamos fieles pero por encima de todo mira nuestro corazón, la razón por lo cual hacemos lo que hacemos. Nos es tan fácil justificarnos por lo que hacemos, pero debemos también vigilar y guardar el por qué hacemos lo que hacemos.
Hoy nos conviene examinarnos ante Dios para ver el estado de nuestro amor. Quizás nos toca arrepentirnos y volver a servir a Dios simplemente por amor.
