Son los testigos de Cristo durante la gran tribulación. Hay una conexión lógica en las frases de esta descripción de los 144.000. Dice que han lavado y emblanquecido su ropa en la sangre del Cordero y por esto le sirven día y noche en su templo. Es curioso el pensamiento que algo se podría limpiar y emblanquecer en la sangre, ya que normalmente pensamos en la sangre como algo que mancha, pero es una imagen preciosa de la salvación en Cristo. Pero el pensamiento más importante del texto es que ese lavamiento produce el servicio. Cuando te das cuenta de cómo Cristo te ha salvado, tan solo hay una reacción lógica, servirle día y noche. No todos sirven a tiempo completo como pastor o misionero, pero todos debemos estar sirviendo a tiempo completo como cristianos allí donde Él nos ha puesto. Y un día le serviremos a tiempo completo en su templo junto con el número completo de los redimidos.
