Mesa Police Department Crime Report for March 11-17, 2025

On March 11, officers responded to a report of criminal damage at Chandler Gilbert Community College Williams Campus. The incident remains under investigation.

A fraud case was reported at Glendale Community College on March 10. Detectives are actively investigating the matter.

On March 10, police received multiple reports of fraud cases at South Mountain Community College and Estrella Mountain Community College. Both incidents are pending further investigation.

Officers responded to a disorderly conduct call at Mesa Community College on March 10. The case is currently pending.

A criminal damage incident was reported at Mesa Community College on March 6. The investigation is ongoing.

On March 6, police made a warrant arrest at Phoenix College. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

Officers responded to a report of theft at Glendale Community College on March 6. The case remains under investigation.

On March 17, police arrested a 34-year-old man following a crime spree in Tempe that left two people hospitalized. The suspect is alleged to have committed multiple offenses before being taken into custody.

A shooting occurred near 21st Avenue and Van Buren Street in Phoenix on March 18. One male victim was found with gunshot wounds and is expected to survive. The investigation is ongoing.

A fatal two-car crash occurred near 43rd and Dunlap Avenues in Phoenix on March 13. One person was killed, and several children were injured in the collision. Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.

On March 18, a four-car crash on I-10 near Riggs Road in Chandler left a police officer and two others injured. The incident is under investigation.

Police responded to a call about unknown trouble at a residence near 83rd Avenue and Broadway on March 18. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man and a woman deceased inside the home. Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding their deaths.

Mesa police arrested 18-year-old Gavin Harbour in connection with two incidents of assault and indecent exposure that occurred in early January. The suspect was taken into custody following an investigation.

Authorities continue to investigate the death of 14-year-old Emily Pike, whose remains were found near Globe over a month ago. The case has raised awareness about the crisis of missing and murdered indigenous people in the area.

Overall, Mesa's crime rates remain 5.5% lower than the national average, with 2,193 violent crimes and 9,081 property crimes reported in the most recent data period.
