The case remains under investigation. Later that same day, an alleged vehicle theft occurred in the vicinity of Broadway Road and Alma School Road. The recovered vehicle was located hours later in a nearby shopping center parking lot. No arrests have been made.
April 11 saw police respond to a reported aggravated assault near the intersection of Southern Avenue and Country Club Drive. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival, and the case is ongoing with investigators seeking additional information. On April 12, officers were dispatched to a commercial area near Baseline Road and Gilbert Road for an alleged shoplifting incident. Merchandise valued at approximately $500 was taken from a retail store. A male suspect in his late 20s with short dark hair, wearing a gray hoodie and jeans, is being sought, and police are requesting public assistance in identifying him.
On April 13, a robbery was reported near the Fiesta District. The alleged suspect approached a victim in a parking lot and demanded property. No injuries were reported. The case is under investigation. That same day, vandalism was reported near Power Road and University Drive involving graffiti on multiple businesses. No suspects have been identified.
April 14 featured an alleged domestic violence incident in the vicinity of Main Street and Stapley Drive. One individual was detained on scene, and the case is proceeding with charges submitted to the county attorney. Later, officers responded to a hit-and-run collision reported near Lindsay Road and Brown Road. The vehicle involved was described as a silver sedan last seen heading northbound. Police are seeking witnesses who may have additional information.
On April 15, two alleged catalytic converter thefts were reported in a residential area near Signal Butte Road and Broadway Road. Both incidents occurred during early morning hours. Investigators are comparing surveillance footage from nearby homes. That same day, an alleged armed robbery occurred at a convenience store near Ellsworth Road and Guadalupe Road. The suspect, described as a male in his late 30s wearing a black jacket and face covering, brandished a firearm and fled with cash. Police are requesting tips from the public.
