Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, back to it on mets bets hi everybody,
and happy almost Thanksgiving. It is Wednesday, November twenty seventh.
I am up here in the frigid north of Wisconsin,
actually not too frigid at all. Pretty nice day up here.
It's gloomy like it usually is this time of season,
but we are talking about Tampa Bay Downs, where it
is much nicer. I am sure we are looking at
(00:23):
race number two on their Wednesday card. This is the
only race day of the week, and then next week
we've got a little more racing, and then by the
time twenty twenty five comes around, it's going to be
you know, full go. I think they got four races
a week or four race days a week, and it
should be a lot of fun. But we're talking about
this main claiming sprint for Phillies and Mayor's going six
(00:43):
furlongs again race two, and I like a horse. I
like a couple horses in this one. But the one
that I am really focused on here is the number eight.
We're going to the outside with a horse called Boogaloo.
That's right, boo Galoo with Antonio Guyardu aboard training is
Mary Lightner and I'm just very curious about this horse,
(01:04):
a five year old. Mayor why she's starting now is
a little interesting to me. You know, some horses just
take a little bit of time. They're not race ready
right away. Maybe there was an injury. I'm not exactly sure,
you know what exactly set her back. She was training
back in October or February of twenty twenty two, it
seems right, so like looking at her workouts, something happened
(01:27):
to where she was laid off for years. But now
she's back on the workout track and she's been putting
in some decent you know, take she hasn't been working
too hard. But I'm very curious though to see how
she performs. Because the mother the damn has four winners
from four starters twenty eight percent winner. As far as
(01:48):
Mary Lightner is concerned on debut going in a maiden
claiming race, but you think usually debuting in a maiden
claiming race is like a two year old or a
three year old, not often a five year old. So
I'm interested to see how boog Galu ends up running.
I also am a big fan of the number four
Pisi Kato. That's the horse that I am most nervous about.
It's a horseshipping over from Gulf Stream drops in class
(02:11):
today and I think that Booglu is going to give
you a lot more value, but Pizza Kato probably a
more likely winner. Both of those actually are out of
are sired by Midnight Loot, so they both have the
same father, of course, different dams. But interesting race certainly
shaping up in race too. I think overall this card
(02:32):
it's gonna be kind of fun because we have some
interesting turf races too. There's a turf sprint that's going
to be later on in the card, and I've got
my opinions and everything posted over on Twitter at Nate Metz.
Hopefully we can get Boo Galou home. I'm taking an interesting,
you know, a deeper dive into race number two and
seeing if we can get that first time starter a
mayor at five years old home. Going to be difficult,
(02:55):
but I think we'll get paid well if indeed she
does fire on debut again. Go to at Nate mets

Thanksgiving again. We're getting Boogalloo home horse ate Race two
at Tampa. Good luck
