Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Happy Friday, everybody. It is a Friday, December
sixth edition of Mets Bets and we are looking at
race two at Tampa Bay Downs today. Hi everyone, I
am Nate Mets, and in this episode, we're gonna look
at a what one mile and forty yard race right
going two turns at Tampa Bay. Race two. It's a
claimer for sixty two hundred and fifty dollars versus twenty grand.
(00:22):
Now I'm looking at the number six bred man in
this race. There's not a lot of early speed signed
on in here, and I think that opens up an
interesting opportunity for this horse ridden by Alexandra Sherman. Alex
Sherman as I know her from the days when we
used to work at the same company actually in Cincinnati.
Now neither of us work there, but trained by Mario Lopez,
(00:43):
who's got a win already this season at Tampa. And
look last time it ran at Churchill Downs, it was
just well outrun in the middle of November, but now
comes to a much more reasonable spot. I think won
the race before that at Indiana, which is I think
against kind of similar competition. And look, alex Sherman is
Cincinnati based I don't know if she has more mounts
(01:03):
planned for the upcoming week. I didn't take a look
yet at Saturday's card, but look, she's not coming all
the way down there just to ride a lemon. And
I've seen Alex you know, when she wins at bell Terra,
oftentimes she's on the lead right she gets out there.
She's very, very good with those early running types and
returning a positive ROI as well in those situations. So
(01:25):
I'm thinking that Breadman and Alex Sherman really start pushing,
and I don't really see a lot of other speed
that's going to go with her, possibly, of course, a
rak Iraq. I'm not sure how to pronounce that. The
number two horse certainly could be a threat, but that
horse is only run on all weather basically, and I
just I'm not going to take such a short price
(01:45):
in a pretty even field on a horse that has
not run on the Tampa Bay surface. Now Bredman hasn't,
but still Breadman has run on dirt a lot almost
exclusively and has won at the likes of Aqueduct is
one at Indiana, So traveling down on to the friendly
confines of Tampa Bay, I hope won't be too big
of a problem. Thanks everyone for tuning in. Here are
(02:06):
two Mets bets also in that one if you want
to sprinkle a little money on the number three King Nate.
I am not a king yet, still Princes Nate. But
one day, if I can continue to give out decent
ROI cards on Twitter, at Nate Mets and at Mets bets,
maybe I can one day become the number three horse
in race to King Nate. But we're not betting on
that one today. That's not our main focus. Our pick
(02:28):
is Breadman, that number six, and hopefully it can make
us some bread Man. Maybe that was a little much,
all right, guys, I will see you on Saturday Tomorrow.
We will wrap up the week at Tampa Bay Downs.
Good luck,
