Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, everyone, we were back here on an episode
of Mets Bets. It is a Friday, December thirteenth edition
of the show, and gotta get this one in quick
because we're getting a little close to post time and
I want to make sure that I get this podcast
out as soon as I can. But don't worry. It's
not for race one, it's for race three. We're going
back to the well. That's right, the very first Mets Bets.
(00:20):
I believe we looked at this horse, Practicality. I talked
about Practicality back on November twentieth. In race three. It
is horse number eight and Practicality was written by Alex Gonzales.
In that race, I think it was nine to five
on the morning line, looked great on paper, and then
through an absolute clunker in at three to five. Not great.
(00:41):
I was not happy about the three to five. I
was not happy about the not great ride in my opinion,
and in this question, in this situation, we've got Sammy
Camacho on board and we get Practicality at probably a
higher rate. We're looking at seven to two on the
morning line, and I think that the favorite Twizzle who
won at Tampa Bay back on December sixth fairly quick
(01:02):
turnaround right, just one week coming back, and I think
that you know, with this horse Twizzle able to stay
at that eight thousand dollars claiming level. But I think
that the shortening up in distance, all of that a
couple of questions that I have with this. I just
think Practicality is truly a horse that is going to
be worth looking at again at a higher price. I
(01:24):
wanted to get three to one last time. We didn't
get it. Now we draw I think a tepid field right,
a lukewarm field, and I think, well, of course it's
an eight thousand dollars claimer race. But I think that
Practicality is better than this. And I think that this
horse will this mayor will show it today. Blinkers are
coming off, and I think that Sammy Camachu and want
Area gotta get it done. In race three. That is
(01:46):
horse eight, Practicality getting us back here on Mets Bets
a little revenge hopefully on this Friday. I will be
at turf Wave Park tonight. We have a horse running
in the feature. That horse is hitting Quarry, the number
one horse hitting Quarry in RaSE eight. Race eight at
keen Or at Turfway, and we drew a really tough field.
So I am looking forward to going and being a
(02:09):
part of that action. It's not the first horse that
I've owned a share of, and I am really excited
about this horse, and this two year old phillis really
got some upside, I think, and running her at Turfway,
she's got a win over the Synthetic, and hopefully she
can get a win tonight as well. That would be awesome.
She's one for one lifetime. If we can make it
two for two, I will be over the moon happy.
(02:30):
But we'll just wait and see. So good luck at
Tampa today, everyone. Good luck at Turfway if you're playing
that too. If you're there, I will see you amongst
the crowd of people that I'm sure will be there.
And make sure that you subscribe to the show, right,
make sure that you subscribe or follow this show wherever
you listen to your podcast, so then every time I
update the show, you automatically get it to your phone
and hopefully I can send you a couple of winners
(02:51):
and it's all for free. I mean, come on, I
give up my opinions, I give up my picks. Hopefully
they hit maybe they don't, but hey, we're gonna keep learning,
we're gonna keep having fun, and we're going to keep
playing those ponies here on Mets Bets. I'll see you Saturday. Everyone,
have a good Friday. Until next time and good luck,
