Speaker 1 (00:06):
The report of unidentified flying out, unidentified, very economic.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Today, decret weapons being tested by our own or foreign governments.
The Americans people are becoming both interested and in many instances.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Very alarmed by the UFO story.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
So why do you suppost that all of this has
been kept from the world exploring our past, our future,
and the mysteries of our universe? Where do they come from?

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Why can't you explain it?

Speaker 4 (00:29):
Everybody in uthology is screaming for disclosure. The future is now.
This is Micah.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Hanks from the high mountains of Appalachia and a bunker
below ground. Welcome, one and all. It is the Micah
Hanks Program. Glad has always to be getting behind the
microphone as we continue our weekly pursuit of the anomalous
in our existence as we come to you listen on
demand via podcasting apps everywhere, and in terms of the
anomalist in our existence, that's exactly where we're headed this

(00:57):
week because we have quite an update, not only on
some of the latest new reports from the ongoing citizen
science effort that I've been running since last January, the
UAP sidings reporting system. We also have some of the
takeaways in terms of trends that are starting to show up,
and let me tell you, it actually has quite a
lot of relevance to recent things that we've been hearing

(01:18):
from the Pentagon about its uap investigations. And in fact,
there's also been a bit of a shakeup because we've
now had another former top official from the dods All
Domain Anomaly Resolution Office who has reportedly been released from
official duties. So we will talk about what is known
about this, what the reasons for the removal may have been,

(01:41):
and how again that relates to some of the most
prevalent siding reports that I've been collecting with our civilian
database there at the UAPSRS. Very exciting stuff to get into.
In other words. Meanwhile, as I look at my phone
over here on this sweltering hot Monday afternoon, temperatures got
up to nearly ninety years and that's in the mountains,
I realize it's much hotter elsewhere, but here in Ashville,

(02:04):
North Carolina, where it's normally a little cooler. I mean,
for it to be getting up into the nineties and
it's July, I wonder what August is going to look like.
Probably the stuff of my nightmares, considering how well, I
handle heat, but no looking over here at my phone again,
it seems every few minutes another story pops up, like
this one from PBS News. What is known about Trump's

(02:26):
years long relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Now, I don't cover
topics like the Epstein controversy on this podcast all that much,
and in fact I don't intend to right now. Really
for the time being, I'm merely making a passing reference
to the fact that this story, it seems every couple
of years, seems to come back around. I mean, it has,
I guess, all the makings for a classic American conspiracy. Right.

(02:50):
We have this mysterious philanthropist and socialite, often very reclusive,
described by many of his friends as being both financially
and otherwise very brilliant. Didn't even have a bachelor's degree,
although he had been a teacher, And of course, what
he's most notoriously known for was his abuse of minors,
a situation which eventually got him into hot water and

(03:10):
then led to his arrest and then of course his
alleged suicide in prison. Now, I want to be clear,
the official narrative is that he did indeed commit suicide.
Many people dispute that official narrative. There was yet again,
with all the recent attention, renewed attention really that this
story's been getting, there was another story I saw the
other day talking about how there were several minutes missing

(03:32):
from the camera in the prison that had been filming
to sell where Epstein had been kept. And so naturally
a lot of people do have questions about what did
this guy know, who were again the people he was
associated with, and really what were the circumstances surrounding Epstein's
final moments here on earth. I mean, there are obviously
a lot of questions, and those ongoing questions and the

(03:54):
never ending speculations about Jeffrey Epstein prompted the recent order
by President Trump to release the grand jury testimonies related
to the Epstein case. This aiming to satisfy the incredible
number of requests for information involving Epstein's alleged client list,
and this, of course after something of a snaffoo with

(04:15):
the Justice Department where they decided that they were not
going to release a lot of this information. That didn't
seem to do very much in terms of mobilizing the
president's base, and many who had been supporters of him
now are saying, well, is there something more we should
know here? Why won't this information be released? So now,
some of this is supposed to come out here, I
guess at any time now, although legal experts are saying

(04:37):
there's probably not all that much we will learn from it.
Then again, there is also plenty already known out there
in the public sector involving Jeffrey Epstein, his connections to
the current president, former President Clinton, many other individuals, and
of course those very intriguing insinuations that he might have
been a little more than what he claimed to be. Namely,

(04:57):
after his arrest prior to his imprison and then his
alleged suicide in jail, there was a fake ID found
at Epstein's New York residence. This was reported at the time.
The ID apparently had a Saudi Arabian address and a
fake name. And adding to the intrigue about this are
two points. Actually there was a reporter who was covering

(05:19):
this story, I believe for Vanity Fair, and while she
had been investigating Epstein, she said that many people who
had known him back in the nineteen eighties in the
nineteen nineties said that he kind of introduced himself at
times as sort of like a financial hitman or something
to that effect. He would go to countries and he
would collect money that was owed from various leaders in

(05:41):
other countries and things along these lines, or so he claimed.
Then there was Alex Acosta, who actually served for a
short time in the first Trump administration, but he had
been involved in the state of Florida at the time
of the first arrest of Jeffrey Epstein, and there had
been questions about why Acosta at the time being involved
in that investigation had helped to secure a sweetheart deal

(06:02):
as some called it, after his first arrest, and as
Acosta had reportedly said, there were federal agents that came
in and had told him Epstein belongs to intelligence. Back down,
this is beyond your pay grade. Now, this is all
old news by now. This all came out shortly after
Epstein was arrested again immediately prior to his death in prison.

(06:24):
But I wonder sometimes if some of the information being
withheld and eventually which may come to light, we'll have
less to do with who he was associated with and
the horrible things they were all doing together, and it
might actually indicate an even stranger and maybe more unsettling
story because in addition to all of these horrible things
associated with Epstein, there have long been these rumors of

(06:46):
there being this other dimension too. I guess one question
also would be would it really be surprising necessarily? But
like I said, and as promised, we're not going to
go down a rabbit hole about that. It's just that
this is topic a so I thought a quick acknowledgment
here at the outset might be useful. Every now and then,
I'd like to get to emails to Koy writes, I'd

(07:06):
say that you're the Paul Harvey of the UFO world,
such a smooth and rich voice with an atmosphere of
forthright knowledge and insight. Cheers brother, Well, thank you, Koy.
I appreciate the kind words. Yet again, don't tell that
to my critics, right. But getting over into some news
now and again, I was talking about the heat here
in Ashville and how it's much warmer in other places.

(07:27):
One of those places is Ni County, Nevada, and it's
usually pretty arid and hot out there in the desert,
but right now it is scorching because, as I reported
there at the Debris last week, there's a massive wildfire
that has been torching the desert, and in fact, it's
not very far away from the famous and yet highly
secretive Area fifty one. That's right. I've always been fascinated

(07:51):
by how Area fifty one is both one of the
most famous high security facilities in the world and yet
it is paradoxically also one of the most secretive. But
things are really heating up out there right now because
as this massive wildfire, which has been given a very
unique name, they call it the Gothic Fire. This blaze
began on the fourth of July. I No, it didn't

(08:11):
have anything to do with fireworks as far as we know.
It's believed that a lightning strike ended up sparking this fire,
and it was allowed to burn until it reached up
to thirty six thousand acres. Finally, after growing to that
size of the course of almost two weeks, officials with
the Bureau of Land Management and the US Air Force,
who jointly managed this restricted area where this fire has

(08:35):
been burning, they finally took action and began to try
and maintain it, and they were able to get it
back to about thirty thousand acres while thirty seven hundred
and eighty six to be exact, meaning that it was
about ten percent contained. Apparently the strategy was not to
try and put the entire thing out again. They were
just going to try and contain it, keep it from

(08:55):
burning anymore, let it run its course, and hopefully make
sure that these exceptionally dry conditions that are affecting the
southwest and many other areas did not give rise to
further problems. What you think again about Area fifty one
and the folklore surrounding that location, involving everything from UFOs

(09:15):
to of course, clandestine experimental aircraft. The fact that this
fire is burning so close by might be enough to
have a few officials concerned, although my understanding is it's
still a few miles away from the base. Although the
fire is actually burning there on the Nevada Test site
slightly to the west and maybe a little north of
Area fifty one, there doesn't appear to be any kind

(09:36):
of eminent danger either to that site or to any
other structures or towns, residences or anything there in the region.
So the fire is burning, and in fact, if you'd
like to see that, I have satellite imagery that we
obtain there that you can see at the debrief Dot Org.
As always, I have that linked in the show notes
for this episode, which you can access from right there

(09:56):
in your app, or you can pop over to the
debrief and check out all the new who's there on
the website. In fact, something else that I was reporting
on over the weekend. Yes, of course, my work is
very seldom ever done, and I pretty much worked straight
through the weekend to make sure I got stories like
this one out. There is a spacecraft currently in development
that looks like it's something right out of Area fifty one.

(10:18):
I mean, this thing looks like the famous SR seventy one,
but then even more futuristic, because this is effectively a
prototype that will soon be built as a space plane,
an aircraft capable of reaching speeds up to mock five,
but also capable of horizontal takeoff and flying direct up
to the edge of space. But contrary to the way

(10:41):
it looks, this is not something that's been cooked up
by Lockheed Martin skunk works. No, this is actually Invictus,
a new project that's currently being undertaken by the European
Space Agency or ESA and their partners at Fraser Nash,
who are best known as far as the UK car
market goes for their design of British sports cars. But
you know, there are actually a lot of automobile makers

(11:04):
who are now testing the waters with rocketry and space
propulsion systems. Honda recently announced that they too are going
to be building rockets, and of course we've got SpaceX
here in the United States, which is only one of
the many businesses of Tesla co founder Elon Musk. So
it's not really surprising necessarily that British luxury car makers

(11:25):
are now helping to build what very well could be
poised to be a game changer in terms of the
development of futuristic hypersonic aircraft and also space planes, planes
that can take off from Earth and carry things or
maybe also payloads all the way up to orbit. But
this Invictus project looks really remarkable, and again some of

(11:45):
the imagery that they have released, these aren't the actual
aircraft onmind you, these are all concept mockups as they
are now designing this aircraft which quite literally is designed
to fly mock five. You'll still want to see these again,
I'll have that linked in the show notes as well.
Check it out. You may be taking a glimpse at
the future. But for those who like looking a little

(12:06):
further out. Many of you who are star watchers will
be familiar, of course, with the constellation Orion, and depending
on who you ask, Orion's most notable feature might be
its belt, which has long been associated with UFO lore itself.
But others might say that one of the more striking
singular features of Orion, being one of the most recognizable

(12:27):
constellations in the night sky, actually is its shoulder. What's
so special about it shoulder? Well, one of its shoulders
happens to be the famous Beetlejuice, the red supergiant star
that people have been watching for millennia because it happens
to be one of the top ten brightest stars in
the night sky. But it also does really weird things.

(12:48):
You've probably been hearing about this now for years, like
I have, its variances in brightness which have caused some
to wonder if there isn't some sort of another object
in orbit around it that occasionally might block some of
its light and it causes the apparent dimming that astronomers
have noticed. Well, the ever diligent Ryan Palin, writing for
us there at the Debrief, has now brought to our

(13:09):
attention that astronomers have finally confirmed that Beetlejuice does have
a companion's star. So I guess if there's two of them,
then it's Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. But if we find another one,
you know what happens, right, I guess. Unofficially, Michael Keaton
is supposed to show up looking slightly undead, but officially speaking,
astronomers would be rejoicing because it would only add to
what they have now already confirmed. There is indeed not one,

(13:33):
but actually a couple of stars right there in that
region of the sky that has attracted star watchers for many,
many years. One more story here before we go to
the break and we get into our UAP breakdown this
week about the DoD's latest scandal, and then some reports
that have been coming my way now for a couple
of years over at the UAP Sidings reporting system, which

(13:54):
I actually gave a great brief about to some friends
of mine, a group of scientists the other night, And
there is always a lot of excitement about the data
we've been collecting. But yes, we've got to dip into
the weird news here for just a minute, because reporting
from over at Pillarcatholic dot com. We have the following
very unusual story sent to me by my ever diligent
newsy Mark Brady. So thank you Mark for always sending

(14:16):
along stories. As the Pillar reports, clergy and the Archdiocese
of Denver are divided over the handling of a controversial
blood oath ceremony involving a vice rector and seminarians during
a ski trip last year. We talk about a lead
that will get your attention. The article continues here that
a group of seminarians studying at Denver's Saint John Vianni

(14:38):
Theological Seminary were taken on the trip in January twenty
twenty four by then Vice rector of the seminary, Father
John Neppel, during which they were woken in the middle
of the night and invited individually to swear a blood
oath in a ceremony involving a dagger and a man
in a yetti costume.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
During the bizarre s ceremony, they say, a video of
which was sent to The Pillar by multiple sources in
the archdiocese, seminarians were told to scream as if in pain,
before returning with a bloodied cloth wrapped around their hand.
And their mouths taped shut to a room where others
waited for their turn to be brought in. Now, this
all sounds fairly horrifying. However, apparently it was all a joke,

(15:22):
that's right. The Archdiocese of Denver said in a statement
that this had apparently been a farce and that it
was quote however, part of a deeply imprudent and inappropriate prank.
The individual responsible, they say, has since been removed from
his seminary leadership role and has recommitted to his ongoing
personal and spiritual formation. One has to wonder if that

(15:43):
has anything to do with blood oaths, and yet he
costumes as always that one's linked in the show notes.
But when we come back, we're going to be looking
at what's been going on with the DoD and the
release of a former Aero official. Right here on the
Micah Hanks program.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
Hi, it's Norah McNerney, host of the head Start Embracing

Invent LIMITAI, the former deputy director of ARROW, has reportedly

(18:16):
been released from government service. So we are now looking
into this situation and asking some questions about what may
have led to his release. Welcome back, of course, it
is the Micah Hanks Program. Now, there was quite a
buzz online the other day about this, various social media
accounts reporting this in terms of what can be confirmed

(18:39):
first and foremost, and then we'll look at some of
the speculation and the other postings that we're appearing online.
There was a post that was uploaded to the official
LinkedIn page of Timothy Phillips, that is the former deputy
director of the All Domain and Omaly Resolution Office. I'm

(18:59):
looking at that posting on his LinkedIn page right now,
from which I will now quote. Yesterday was my last
day as a federal government employee after a combined forty
five years of military and federal civil service. Today I
received the Secretary of Defense Civilian Career Service Medal for
Exceptional Civilian Service. I'm very grateful to my wife and

(19:21):
family who supported my career despite the frequent PCs moves,
tdwise and overseas deployments. It was an honor to serve
with so many truly exceptional military, intelligence, community, and federal
law enforcement professionals throughout my career. I will miss your company,
the national security mission, and most importantly, your friendship. I'm
grateful to have served my country, looking forward to the

(19:42):
next adventure and spending more time with family and friends.
Thank you, Tim Phillips. So that was the official statement,
and that was accompanied by a photograph that Phillips uploaded
with an Office of the Secretary of Defense Medal for
Civilian Career Service, listing his name and citing exceptional civilians
as Deputy Director of the All Domain Anomaly Resolution Office.

(20:03):
Then there was the following citation to a company that award,
which reads, mister Timothy A. Phillips is recognized for exceptional
civilian service as the Deputy Director of the All Domain
Anomaly Resolution Office, Office of the Deputy Secretary of Defense
from October twenty twenty three to April twenty twenty five.
During this period, mister Phillips also led All Domain Anomaly
Resolution Office as Acting Director for eight months. His exemplary

(20:25):
leadership during both periods was key to fulfilling aerro's mission
to minimize technical and intelligence surprise by synchronizing scientific intelligence
and operational detection, identification, attribution, and mitigation of unidentified anomaloust
phenomena in the vicinity of national security areas. Now there's
a little more, But again I will just interject here
as I'm reading this, there are many people out there

(20:48):
who still to this day will try to double down
and say that there are nothing more than balloons and
drones that the United States government is currently tracking. And
yet in the meritorious citations that are issued to former
government employees like Phillips, they state things like their exemplary
leadership which helped to minimize technical and intelligence surprise by

(21:09):
synchronizing all the data that we're collecting about unidentified anomalous
phenomena in the vicinity of national security areas. Yet again,
that alone seems to recognize that the Department of Defense
takes this issue as seriously as civil servants like Tim
Phillips had recently said during numerous interviews that he gave
talking about this subject. More on that, of course, in

(21:30):
a moment, and I guess for a lot of people
it's becoming kind of humdrum and run of the mill
to see blatant, obvious and frequent mentions of unidentified anomalous
phenomena in otherwise mundane military jargon accompanying a citation like this.
People seem to be getting used to this, But for
somebody like me who has been studying UAP and calling

(21:52):
them that since long before twenty seventeen, somebody who has
devoted countless hours over the last couple of decades to
the historical and scientific study of this phenomenon, and of
course somebody who has at times also endured the stigmas
that prevail against the serious study of this phenomenon. To
hear all of this being described in this way, and

(22:14):
so frequently and in such circumstances, is to me still
something that in itself is rather noteworthy. It never gets
old to me that I am seeing official government documents
coming out all the time that reference the good work
people have done in helping the DoD to study unidentified
anomalous phenomena. But anyway, coming back, the citation continues, mister

(22:35):
Phillips outstanding leadership and guidance provided essential advice and recommendations
to the Deputy Secretary of Defense, to include solidifying all
the main anomaly resolution offices, support to the combatant commands,
and Military Services, and the creation and implementation of the
Aero dot mill secure reporting mechanism. He skillfully managed a
multimillion dollar budget that established arrows far reaching programs across

(22:59):
both the Department of Defense and the intelligence community. The
distinctive accomplishment of mister Phillips reflects great credit upon himself
and the Department of Defense. All of that to say
a couple of things. This guided some serious work in
terms of this program where millions of dollars were put
behind establishing the All Domain Anomaly Resolution Office and its

(23:20):
far reaching programs both in the DoD and the intelligence community.
But also perhaps has a very nice way of saying,
thanks Tim, but your services will no longer be required
here anymore. And that of course brings us to some
of the controversy. We know that he has left government,
and in fact, while he was doing recent interviews, he
had actually said that he had left ARROW and was

(23:41):
now referring to himself as the former deputy director of
that office. But among those posting about this online were
Stephen green Street, who had been the first person to
interview Phillips in the recent series of interviews that he gave,
and we referenced that interview here on this podcast. According
to green Street, he said in a posting on x
that Philip Quote was contacted by the Office of the

(24:02):
Director of National Intelligence or od and I counter Intelligence,
ordering him to stop doing interviews without DoD approval until
his official retirement in October twenty twenty five. According to
what mister Greenstreet wrote, he claims that Phillips thereafter received
a termination letter from the od and I Human Resources
stating that the d and I had terminated his federal

(24:24):
government employment effect of July eighteenth. There was also a
quote attributed to Phillips, but there wasn't a source given
for this, in which Phillips allegedly will say said quote,
I was surprised by this action, but senior executives serve
at the pleasure of the President. After forty five years
of honorable military and government service, often in very dangerous places,

(24:46):
I thought I would have an opportunity to discuss why
I was terminated. Now, that is a very intriguing statement.
I'm inclined to think that probably Phillips did say this,
but again considering the source who shared this information online
and actually did not provide a source for these quotes. Again,
it might be beneficial to take this with the proverbial
grain of salt. But these what we'll call roumant Okay,

(25:08):
these rumors do seem to match what Phillips has posted
on his own LinkedIn page. So it does seem to
be the case that he was released from his job
early on. So naturally the question might be what had.

Speaker 4 (25:22):
Led to that.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
Was it something that he said? More specifically, was it
things he had been saying, or just general interviews he
had been giving about the UAP topic, interviews he gave
to the aforementioned mister Stephen green Street, also to skeptic Micwest.
Also there was one given to podcaster Andy mcgrill, and
there may have been a few others too. But what
specifically would have led to his termination, and more importantly,

(25:46):
Odie and I reaching out and saying stop giving these interviews?
Had they simply not wanted him talking about arrow without
any kind of official authorization. Maybe, on the most mundane level,
that's all this is. But again we could also speculate
were they things being said in some of those interviews
that maybe had Odie and I concerned? Now I should

(26:07):
point out file Phillips was speaking with mcwest he had
actually been asked about the recent Wall Street Journal articles
that had come out, and also the recent interview he
had previously given to mister green Street, about which Phillips
then said, there was one thing that I don't think
he got correct. I haven't talked to Steve about it,
but I haven't personally witnessed the black triangle incidents that
we have. It came out that I had and I hadn't.

(26:29):
I have seen a lot of the reports, but as
far as me being physically present when there was an
incident that never occurred. So what he was addressing was
apparently following the interview with Stephen green Street, Phillips felt
like it might have been presented in such a way
to make it sound like he himself had seen black
triangles and had been present during those events, And after
commenting about that to mcwest, West responded, that's interesting because

(26:52):
it did kind of sound like you did from the interview,
just the way it was kind of edited.

Speaker 3 (26:57):
Here.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
Again, I guess it's important to take care with the
way that we edit things so as not to unintentionally
misconstrue things they might have said. But in any case,
it got me wondering I mean what specifically that had
been attributed to Phillips might have led to his termination. Now,
to briefly recap some of the other things that have
been said recently in the interviews that he gave, Phillips

(27:17):
has expressed his serious interest, apparently in reports of black
triangle UFOs. No, he didn't say he saw one, but
he certainly has seemed to indicate. But he's aware of
videos and reports that ERO has received, and he also
seems to be pretty baffled by these things. He seems
to have admitted during some of the recent interviews that
they exhibit capabilities the US cannot currently duplicate. Now, there's

(27:39):
been a mixed reaction of some skepticism to Phillips saying, yeah,
we collect information about these big black triangles. You know.
Some are saying, well, maybe these are illusions, Maybe these
are some sort of secret government program that even ERO
hasn't been briefed on. Others looked at those statements and said,
you know, this lends some credibility to the black triangle claims.

(28:00):
I mean, this guy, being the deputy director of AERO,
sitting there in these interviews saying, yes, we have videos
of these things. We don't know what they are. We
think they belong to somebody on Earth, but we're trying
to find out whose technology it is. I mean, those
statements understandably seem to have led to some speculation, even
among some skeptics who have been posting online who would
otherwise dismiss such reports, and they're saying, I mean, could

(28:21):
this be China or Russia? Could there be anybody who
has developed such advanced technology. Now part of the problem here,
of course, is that we don't know whether these black
triangle sidings represent truly anomalous phenomena. Or if you or
I were to see these videos and we could see
what Phillips has apparently seen, and we could look at
the reports that he says that Erro is investigated, we

(28:44):
might look at this and say, well, clearly these are
describing aircraft. That's part of the problem. He seems very
confident in the credibility of the sightings, but during the
interviews he's done understandably so he was pretty vague in
terms of evidence, and yet seemingly based on some information
that has come out the room NT that I was
referring to earlier, it seems that this might have gotten

(29:04):
them in hot water, and so based only on what
little Phillips has said. Again, questions that come to mind
for me are what are the kinds of performance data
that AERO observed that led them to classify the black
triangles as anomalist? In other words, the fact that during interviews,
when asked about UAP sightings, Phillips brings up the black
triangles and also talked about the mysterious orbs the plasma

(29:27):
like phenomena. If you recall the fact that he brings
these things up clearly seems to suggest that they count
these among the varieties of genuine anomalies that ERO is studying.
Maybe that in itself is significant. It would also be
interesting to know whether ARO, or other agencies for that matter,
possess sensor or video data of these things performing in
ways that would be consistent with any known aircraft, or

(29:50):
maybe even that demonstrate the kinds of advanced capabilities that
we've at least heard reference to, albeit again ambiguously in
past reports going all the way back to the twenty
twenty one OD and I UAP Preliminary Assessment. That assessment
said that some of these things display capabilities that aren't
easily reconciled. So again, it seems to suggest some UAP

(30:11):
display advanced capabilities. Do any of the black triangles do that? Further,
how confident would aerob that these platforms are indeed of
terrestrial origin? Now this might sound like we're getting into
fringe territory here, but again, frankly, and maybe even on
a more skeptical note, I want to know, is the
interpretation that they are terrestrial informed by anything more than

(30:33):
what I would imagine to be an inherent bias that
Philip seems to display, because at no time does he
ever say any of these things, despite apparently being genuine
UAP by Aero's definition, at no time does he ever say,
you know, these things are really weird and we don't
know where they're from. He always tends to come back
around to saying, something tells me these things are from
Earth for all we know. Maybe they are. But again,

(30:55):
is their data? Is there information that strongly supports that
conclusion or that just a well, I don't know, therefore
I'm gonna guess kind of conclusion. Also, have any of
those reported sightings included multi sensor confirmation, the kinds of
things that might actually help to determine. Aha. Yeah, there
are signatures produced by these craft, and we don't know
whose they are, but they clearly operate in the way

(31:17):
that we expect earthly technology to operate. That's also a question.
And if indeed these things are from here, even if
they seem to display really strange characteristics at times, then
is it possible at least that the US government might
have withheld information on these platforms from Aero and or Congress. Again,
this is a question I keep asking myself. Might it

(31:38):
actually be that, rather than there being an alien cover
up with genuine extraterrestrial phenomena and crash wreckages and things
and retrievals of that off planet technology, what if the
big secret is that we've got some incredible technology that
might be decades ahead of what everybody expects. And this
information is quite literally the so called legacy program, the

(32:00):
very stuff that is being kept from Congress, and now
seemingly if we follow this line of logic, may be
arrow as well. In any case, it is rather interesting,
in light of all these questions and everything that mister
Phillips has said recently that even after already having left
the All Domain Anomaly Resolution Office, apparently he has now

(32:21):
departed from government entirely. Lots of questions still remain, but
we're going to look at the triangle enigma a little
closer here in a moment, and other reports that have
been coming into the UAP sidings reporting system. When we
return right here on the Micah Hanks program.

Mysterious black triangles, plasma like orbs, and much more. What
the government might not be willing to say about these phenomena,
many civilians are more than happy to talk about it,
and in fact they have been diligently sending along reports
to the UAP Sidings reporting system. Periodically we give updates

(35:13):
on this, usually about twice a year, and so I
felt we were overdue to work another of those into
the mix right here. First, I want to remind you
if you aren't already an ex subscriber, you're only getting
half the story, and of course there's always so much
more that we discuss. In fact, we're going to be
talking about a very interesting buzz that appeared online this

(35:35):
week involving a peer reviewed science paper and something extraordinary
that it details. We'll get into that with X subscribers here. Yes,
it does involve UAP something spotted in our skies and
maybe even in space. That's intriguing to me because again,
right now, according to Aero, there's very little data that
associates UAP with space, and so I am intrigued with

(35:59):
the idea that there could be some things seen in
our skies that maybe don't just remain in our atmosphere.
They might be the proverbial trans medium vehicles. And if
such vehicles exist, the question, of course arises who do
they belong to? And that's why with the UAP sidings
reporting system, I've been tracking a range of different trends,

(36:20):
and we're starting to get to the point where even
with just a few hundred reports, some trends are already
beginning to emerge. One of the very ones I've talked
about in the past here on the program involves strange
sightings of what appear to be satellites initially, which then
as witnesses are observing them, they'll stop, they'll hover for
a while. Sometimes they will just turn and execute right

(36:41):
angle turns that again no satellite is supposed to be
able to do. Sometimes they do even stranger things than that.
We have witnesses who say that they'll see what appears
initially to be a satellite, then it'll stop, it'll start
going in circles. Sometimes there are groups of them that
will move in circles or in patterns together. And some
of these reports describing these again what we may call,
for lack of a better term, mystery satellites. They date

(37:03):
back several decades, so it seems very likely to me
that some of these observations are by no means of
conventional satellites, just seen under optical conditions that might cause
these things to appear strange. Some of the descriptions, in
other words, very much do describe anomaloist behaviors. Now that's
also not to say that there are not instances where

(37:25):
the conditions under which you were looking at objects in
space can cause them to appear to do strange things,
when in fact they do not. Quick example of that
one night, I was simply looking at a star, and
I was paying attention to the star and not the
clouds moving around it, And as the clouds were gradually
drifting by, it gave me the impression. In other words,
it was an optical illusion that the star had suddenly

(37:47):
started moving. And so I've actually looked at an object
that I thought was stationary and then it began to move,
only to quickly realize within a few moments that I'm
paying attention to that object, not the clouds which are
moving around it, and they're causing the object to appear
to be moving. And I'm telling you that to explain
that I have personally experienced the kinds of things that
sometimes do contribute to optical illusions, which are interpreted as

(38:11):
being anomalous movement of objects, when in fact no such
thing happened. But can we say that that is most
likely the explanation for all the reports, considering now that
we've got more than two hundred and fifty reports in
the UAPSRS database, Clearly some of the reports that we're
going to be looking at describe physical, structured objects that
are not just stars or little points of life that

(38:33):
might be doing unusual things. Now, before we get into
the true anomalies and the kinds of descriptions that are
being provided by witnesses and the locations where they're being
seen and other data, that we're already starting to see
some trends emerge with I should point out that something,
Especially in the last twenty to forty cases I've gone through,
it seems very clear to me that the more reports

(38:56):
I get, and maybe this is also just as a
result of having to dig into them more often, and
I'm becoming more and more careful about how I interpret
the cases, and I'm looking into them and I always
try if there's enough data to provide a case resolution.
As it turns out, the more cases that come in,
the more often I am seeing that there are conventional
objects that quite often, maybe surprisingly so, can be determined

(39:20):
based on the data that the witnesses provide. There have
been a lot of excellent reports provided by very diligent
observers who gave very detailed witness reports. But based on
that level of detail and the accuracy, I think in
terms of what they describe, in many instances, I've been
able to rule out the UAP sidings as having been
STARLINGK satellites. Common descriptions of those are that people will

(39:42):
be looking at the sky and they'll see what looks
like a satellite drift by then it disappears. Then with
that first one was they see another one, and then
another one after that, and it's sometimes either interpreted as
a fleet of objects flying in a straight line, which
actually it is, but their satellites. Sometimes people do also
say it seemed like it was an object moving in
a big circle. In other words, the so called racetrack effect,

(40:05):
which is produced by the glint of light off of
one satellite which as it fades and the next one
behind it in the satellite train comes up behind it.
It gives the mistaken impression that there is this object
spinning in a circle, when in fact you're just seeing
one starlink after another after another after another. Here Again,
it's an optical illusion that gives the impression of an

(40:25):
object in space flying in circles. That does happen, And
so there are certainly starlink satellite reports that we receive.
I've also gotten a lot of reports of green objects
streaking through the sky, which in many cases people give
me the location, they tell me the direction they were facing,
They give me great details. And armed with that data,
I can go to the American Meteor Society website. I

(40:46):
can look and I can find out whether there was
a media that would have been seen in that region.
Sometimes there are videos that others have uploaded to the
AMS website that can corroborate the timing, the appearance, and
the coloration even of what the witness described. We also
have some instances where there are conventional aircraft that have
been mistaken for UAP. There are some instances where rocket

(41:08):
launches have been mistaken for UAP. There are also a
few instances where I strongly suspect, given the fact that
these sightings occur right around Christmas time or Christmas Eve,
that there are Christmas light shows where there are spotlights
projected onto the cloud deck that are also mistaken for UAP.
But despite the fact that the data in many instances

(41:29):
increasingly so with time, if anything, is helping us to
produce case resolutions, and we label them as such in
the description field on those individual reports. What this actually
shows me is that contrary to the assertion that UFO
witnesses often do not provide good data, they do not
make good observers, they are not providing quality information. There's

(41:51):
never enough information to determine at the end of the day,
what these sightings actually represent. Quite the contrary, Based on
the reporting form that we use at the UAPSRS webs site,
people are filling that in they're providing a lot of data,
and in many cases they provide extremely good reports that
help us to reconcile these with known phenomena in some instances.
So I think that the UAP witnesses, even if the

(42:13):
objects are later determined not to be UAP, they are
doing an extraordinary job contrary to what some skeptics would say.
They're very good reporters and the very data that they
provide helps us resolve some of these cases. But all
that said, will now shift our attention over to the
genuine anomalies, the kinds of reports that we're receiving in
the consistency in terms of the shapes, this might not

(42:35):
surprise you. Of the top five most commonly reported shapes,
spheres are the most common. As of the other day
when I was running the data, and this has been
updated since then, but as of the other day, there
were sixty four reports involving spherical objects. The second largest
category was triangular objects and there were thirty seven described

(42:58):
as such. Then we had twenty three in the other
other category. In other words, ambiguous objects sometimes they're just
lights or things along those lines. Oval or oblong is
the fourth most reported category, although it ties with number five,
which is discs now. I fully recognize we will need
a larger data set before this information becomes really meaningful.

(43:18):
Right now, we're working with a little over two hundred
and fifty reports, and yet we are still seeing the
same general trends, with spheres being the largest number of
reported sidings. The arrow reports, in contrast to that, somewhat
aro describes a far smaller number of triangular reports. By contrast,
the UAP sidings reporting system has quite a lot of

(43:40):
reports involving triangular UAP. But even despite the numbers that aerosites,
they clearly have expressed extreme interest in the triangular UAP sidings,
no matter how many they are getting. And here again
a question about that might be is the reporting bias
involving the collection of data only from military officials and
generally near military sites some have now impacting the number

(44:01):
of triangular UAP siding reports they're getting. Are there more
UAP sidings of triangular UAP away from military sites, and
if so, does that suggest that despite the often made
suggestion that these objects might be secret military craft, maybe
in fact they are not. I don't know. Again, we
would need more data to draw those kinds of conclusions.

(44:23):
But I will say this that in similar analysis of
data sets that have been conducted by my colleagues at
the SCU, they too have also found that spheres and
triangles are generally the two most popular categories. So even
with this smaller original data set, many if not most,
of the reports we receive at UAPSRS having never been
reported anywhere else prior to us receiving them. Here, again,

(44:47):
some of this data is already matching larger data sets
that have looked at similar problems. Let's look at a
few more things too. Here we've also got the most
common color descriptions, with white being the overwhelming majority. Second
to that that is black, third is silver, number four
is orange, and then we have red or bright white,
tying at the fifth most common color. In terms of

(45:09):
the number of objects reported, one object accounts for one
hundred and seventy four reports combined, which is a pretty
strong trend towards the single object sidings, although in at
least twenty cases there were sidings of four or more objects.
And only if you involve ambiguous or unusual object counts
like uncertain or they said possibly there were one or two. Now,

(45:31):
please keep in mind that currently the way that the
data set is being shaped up, we include those resolved
cases in there, and so when we have cases that
describe four or more objects, that might also include sightings
that have been resolved to be Starlink satellites. So at
some point we may have to divvy up the nones
and the unknowns, the resolved and the unresolved cases, and

(45:51):
do separate data analysis of the different groupings. And of
course there are some really talented individuals who are already
stepping in and saying, you know, we would like to
get involved. We might be able to help you with
some of this, which is always welcome. So I'm always
intrigued to hear from people who'd like to contribute. As
far as advanced capabilities, just a few more things. During
the time we've got there are eighty reports right now

(46:12):
that explicitly mention that there appeared to be advanced capabilities,
which is close to thirty two percent of all the
entries currently in the database. And then as far as locations,
this is kind of intriguing too. We've got a lot
of reports from over in California and this was particularly
interesting to me. I mean, there are other cities like Baltimore, Lyttleton, Miami, Raleigh,

(46:33):
North Carolina, in fact, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and other
locations that certainly do have more than one siding. But
right now, as far as locations where repeated sidings have
been logged, Fresno, California, and Bakersfield are at the top
of the list, with Fresno having five Bakersfield having three.
Now what does that suggest to me? Why is that significant? Well,

(46:55):
one thing is because if you look at them on
a map, this suggests some possible clustering or repeated reports
in these regions. Fresno and Bakersfield, importantly, are both in
relative proximity, really just within a couple of hours of
locations like Naval Air Station Lamour and maybe more importantly,
the Antelope Valley where experimental aircraft testing occurs. That's right.

(47:17):
Companies like Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin and its secretive skunk
Works division, Scaled Composites, and others have long operated in
that area and have established a very strong presence there.
So does some of the data that we're receiving there
at the UAP Sidings Reporting system suggest that there are
cluster areas where sidings tend to occur more frequently that

(47:38):
happen to coincide with secret of aircraft testing and the
regions where that testing occurs. That wouldn't be surprising, would it. So?
Yet again, some very interesting things coming out of the data.
We're going to look at a few case studies though,
when we come back right here and wrap things up
on the Micah Hanks program.

Speaker 2 (49:56):
The latest from the u A P Sightings Reporting system
looking at some of these trends that are emerging. You know,
considering all the interest in the triangular UAP and the
fact that some of those are also seen there in
parts of California associated with experimental aircraft testing, the fact

(50:16):
that Arrow of course has expressed so much interest in those,
maybe we should take a quick deeper look into triangle
sightings and some of the data that is coming out
about those. So of sixteen reports that we looked at recently,
and keep in mind again I am currently processing reports,
so there's even more data that is available about these
kinds of reports. But looking at sixteen from the data

(50:39):
set the other day, the overwhelming majority described the craft
as being black, often darker than the night sky. Although
sixteen reports specifically said that these objects were very dark
and black in coloration, twenty five described there being visible
lights on these craft, usually oriented with the corners and

(51:00):
or on the underside. So I found that interesting. The
fact that there are lights on these craft reported even
more commonly than the black coloration associated with and that's
intriguing in itself, although we should leave open the possibility
that some sightings may actually involve misidentified conventional aircraft, which
would account for the lighting right. However, some reports nine

(51:22):
specifically describe unlit dark craft, and so there's little information
about what they might have looked like apart from the
fact that they appeared to be dark in at least
some instances, but not very many. There were descriptions of
what appears to have possibly been a circular section under
the large triangular aircraft. One example that we've actually heard
right here on this program if you go back and

(51:42):
find the episode titled White Pine Triangle. There was an
observer in Canada back many years ago who, as a
young boy with his family, they all observed one of
these objects hovering over their neighborhood. Their family and also
relatives who lived nearby saw this object. But they said
that there was this round area, a circular kind of

(52:03):
an area, almost like a gondola, beneath the craft. There
might have been light or windows associated with that round area,
but there also was the implication of what appeared to
be movement behind those windows. That's a very intriguing description too. Now,
coming over to sound, generally, there is no sound associated
with these craft. They are often described as having none

(52:23):
at all. Twenty one reports silent or none is a
combined eight report, so altogether we've got about twenty nine
that say that there's little or no sound. That seems
to strongly support the idea that these craft, whatever they are,
are carrying out very stealthy, silent maneuvers. In terms of
motion or speed, most often the black triangles are described

(52:44):
as moving very slow or even hovering, although there are
limited examples of what appears to be high speed, some
of them also engaging in sudden movement from stillness where
they go from hovering to just taking off at tremendous speed.
But the majority of citing reports we've collected seem to
show these things moving very slow, which we also might
say would be consistent with a description of like a

(53:05):
platform blimp or a stealth blimp of some kind, and
that's long been proposed as a potential explanation for what
these kind of craft might represent. Some kind of a
stealth blimp, but one of the most consistent features with
thirty four responding and saying yes, nearly all reports that
we've collected of this particular type of UAP described the
object as having appeared to have been solid. Only two

(53:26):
indicate uncertainty or no in terms of the number of
objects seen. Yet again, in thirty one of thirty six reports,
reporters said that there was only one object, although there
were a few outliers. There was one report where a
triangle appears to have been accompanied by what seemed like
a smaller rectangle object. There were also a few reports
in that remaining five that did not involve just one object,

(53:49):
where maybe two or more triangle like objects were observed.
But keep in mind we do from time to time
get reports of small triangular objects. Not all of these
are massive black triangular aircraft to some kind. Sometimes people
see very small objects that, based on their best recollection
of what they observed, it appeared to generally be triangular
in shape, and so they described it as such. So

(54:11):
in terms of key observations and consistencies, really, the silent black,
slow moving triangular craft with lights still remains a very
strong archetype in this data set. That is something that
has existed in UAP studies for a long time, but
we're seeing it reflected in this subcategory of reports that
the UAPSRS is collecting. We might further read that the

(54:31):
descriptions of a single solid black triangle does suggest some
kind of a uniform design that might hint at engineered
rather than natural or illusion based origins for some of
these things. But again it's also consistent with many aerospace
developments that we've seen for decades. There have been triangular
craft like the B two Spirit, several advanced drones that

(54:51):
are currently in use by the military, the F one
seventeen Nighthawk, there are many others that essentially have a
triangular shape, so it's not an uncommon shape for aerospace developments.
That too should probably be kept in mind. So what
does all that mean? I mean, again, it's always tempting
to say be given the consistencies in the shape and
the descriptions of their operation, we're probably just dealing with

(55:14):
one kind of craft, or maybe a couple of varieties
that operate in the similar fashion and have a similar appearance.
They're based on a similar design or a similar propulsion mechanism. Admittedly,
that much does seem evident based on not only the
reports I'm receiving, but again comparing that with data that's
been collected about these in eyewitness sightings for decades. There's

(55:35):
also a strong temptation, I would say, at times, to
want to say that, based on the similarity between the
triangular design of these objects and various aerospace developments that
have been cooked up by various defense contractors over the years,
that it is also probably no coincidence that such similarity
in the shapes exist, and that these are therefore probably

(55:56):
stealth aircraft. This might seem to also explain why they
move so silently. They were developed to be able to
do that. Design for stealth purposes, but there are still
those outliers, and so I really think that even now,
with all the data that's being collected and has been
for decades about this variety of uap it's still premature
to try and say that we have enough data that

(56:17):
we can explain what these things are, or that we
have a leading idea of what they are, how they work.

Speaker 4 (56:23):
And where they come from.

Speaker 2 (56:25):
So I definitely think there's more data needed, but there's
probably also a lot more data than at least some
of the hardened skeptics would be willing to concede. And
who knows, maybe looking at data like this and collecting
this kind of information and providing this as a compliment
to what Erro's already doing could help bring us closer
to a resolution in terms of what these things might be,
But there also might be multiple varieties. I have no

(56:47):
doubt that the United States government develops experimental craft that
are probably triangular in shape, But does that necessarily mean
that all triangular craft which people call uap in, which
have been seen in places around the world for decades,
are all necessarily US experimental technologies. Again, in terms of physics,

(57:07):
it might simply be that there's a good reason why
that triangular shape is optimal for the kinds of flat
characteristics these craft are observed doing, and that carries over
to the kinds of stealth aircraft in the US inventory,
as well as anything else that might be out there.
But as we're wrapping up here a few case studies
that we've been looking at, and these are just some

(57:27):
really intriguing reports. Now nothing that we're really collecting a
whole lot of data in terms of trends across a
large number of reports. These are just some intriguing ones
that I'd like to share as anecdotes and which still
might offer some data that could be useful and down
the road. Both of these came to us fairly recently. Again,
we guarantee anonymity to our witnesses, so these individuals will

(57:49):
remain anonymous here. The first one had been attending college
at Georgia Tech University at the time. They explained in
their citing that they don't normally talk to people about
this and don't bring it up in groups, but they
said that indeed they had a very clear sighting of
what they interpreted to be a UAP. This occurred back
on March thirty first, twenty eighteen. It was about nine

(58:12):
to thirty pm. The individual was stargazing at the time
along with a friend, and they said that they saw
a silent, crescent shaped craft flying low overhead. According to
the witness quote, it looked almost exactly like the sketch
of the nineteen forty seven mount Rainier craft, which I
had not been aware of at the time. Now for reference,
by the way, if you look and we've talked about

(58:33):
this many times on the show, but if you look
back at the actual drawings of the so called flying
saucers that Kenneth Arnold saw in nineteen forty seven, they
weren't flying saucers. They were not disc shaped. If anything,
they were somewhat reminiscent of modern stealth aircraft. There were
more of a crescent shape, and that's essentially what the
witness here is describing. Nonetheless, the visual conditions were totally dark,

(58:58):
and the witness said, I would have missed it if
I had been looking at a different part of the sky.
The strangest part, though, was how it moved. They said.
The best way I can describe it is that it
reminded me of watching a manta ray swim underwater if
you were watching it from above. The craft itself was
totally rigid, but the air around it seemed to ripple
or distort around the craft. I tried to look into

(59:21):
whether it could have been a drone or a military craft,
but I haven't found anything that matches. So that's a
very intriguing report. Again, we might not rule out a
potential military drone, but again, some of the descriptions of
the behavior and the characteristics the witness described are quite
unconventional atypical as far as even military craft the known varieties.

(59:42):
Another intriguing report that came to us recently was from
a witness who was nineteen years old at the time.
They were a college student. They were called a vivid
and transformative close encounter, and this is quite a story.
They had been riding in a car with their family
along Ocean Drive near Doddridge Street in Corpus Christi, Texas.
At the time this is decades ago. They said it

(01:00:02):
was a clear day in the spring or summer of
maybe nineteen seventy four. While heading east along the bayfront,
the witness noticed what initially appeared to be a large
white balloon moving eastward parallel to the car's direction of travel.
This object was estimated by the witness at that time
to be about fifteen feet in diameter and maybe one
hundred and fifty yards above the ground. They said it

(01:00:24):
had a distinctive metallic lattice structure, and so they tracked
the object for about fifteen to twenty minutes as it traveled,
and then they came to a halt near South Padre
Island Drive. So at this point, when the car had stopped,
possibly due to traffic, the witness had leaned out the
window for a better view, and they said that they
observed not only the object for a few moments. While
they were leaning out the window, they said, a hatch

(01:00:46):
opened on this spherical object. From within the hatch, a
humanoid figure reportedly emerged, described as gangly and all white.
Either in appearance or in attire, they couldn't really tell,
but it was just a lighter colored humanoid shape. At
that distance. The figure appeared to have had a large,
oversized head. There appeared to be dark eyes. They could

(01:01:08):
almost discern a mouth, but the witness says that the
figure appeared to make direct eye contact, during which the
witness felt as though the figure was looking into their mind,
yet again, not something that is uncommon per se in
reports like this. As extraordinary as it sounds, the moment
was somewhat broken though, when the witness began to feel
an intense burning sensation on the back of their head,

(01:01:29):
which prompted them to pull their head back into the car.
But nonetheless, when they looked back at the object, they
said that the figure appeared to make a very slow,
deliberate arm gesture, like a single clockwise wave before re
entering the sphere, so it seemed to wave at them,
and then the figure withdrew into the craft and the
hatch closed at that point. The craft then shot straight

(01:01:49):
upward at an extraordinary speed and vanished into the sky.
Well shortly after this experience, the witness said that they
experienced a pretty severe nosebleed, although it may not have
been related. They also noticed that it had been a
Sunday afternoon and the rest of the family members all
apparently went to sleep unusually early that day, which the witness, nonetheless,
thinking back about this, found that to be kind of odd.

(01:02:10):
Although the family members had been in the car at
the time, they weren't paying attention to this object. And
none of them acknowledged having seen this, except for the witness,
who at that one point leaned out the window and
claimed that they actually saw this occupant. The witness also
described there being some changes in handwriting that happened after this,
marked improvement and academic performance. There was also some concerning developments,

(01:02:32):
like a persistent sense of awe but also fear, as
well as maybe a belief that the being had somehow
had cognitive interactive capabilities and had somehow interacted with this
person and influenced some of these changes. The person, seemingly
also aware of UFO abduction reports, said that they had
begun to have a lingering fear of being abducted, accompanied

(01:02:53):
by cautious behavior when outdoors after this encounter. As a
final anecdote, they also said that there had been a
local newspaper report where there had been an object tracked
over the Gulf of Mexico, traveling over twenty five hundred
miles per hour that rapidly crossed over into Mexico. The
witness said that while they were unsure if this was
related to what they saw, the timing nonetheless seemed pretty noteworthy.

(01:03:15):
So again that is just a story shared many decades
after the fact by a witness who said that they
saw something extraordinary. Add that into the mix.

Speaker 4 (01:03:25):
Make of it what you will.

Speaker 2 (01:03:27):
But more broadly speaking, looking at the kinds of intriguing
reports that emerge from time to time like these, and
also the trends that are now emerging from the broader
data set, it is intriguing that some of this data
aligns with similar analyzes of other UAP data sets, that
there are certain consistencies in terms of locations where these
things are seen, and also the crossover between those siding

(01:03:49):
locations and places where experimental aircraft are being tested. So altogether,
although it is a very small data set, still there
are some intriguing reports coming out the ongoing effort to
collect UAP data. There are some trends that are emerging.
I hope that there will be more data collected. And
as always, if you have seen something in our skies

(01:04:10):
that you can't explain, consider submitting your siding report over
at UAP sidings dot org. Every little bit helps, every
report could help to make a difference and expand our
understanding of what exactly may be operating in our skies.
As always, you can follow my work at micahnks dot
com at the debrief dot org. That is all for now,

(01:04:30):
my friends. Until next time, you guys, as always, stay
strange out there and we'll talk again soon
