Speaker 1 (00:06):
The report of unidentified flying out there, unidentified very o
phonomen hoday, the great.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Weapons being tested by our own or foreign government.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
The Americans people are becoming most interested and in many instances.

Speaker 4 (00:17):
Very alarmed by the UFO story.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
So why do you suppose that all of this has
been kept from the world? Exploring our past, our future,
and the mysteries of our universe? Where do they come, Brock,
Why can't you explain it?

Speaker 4 (00:29):
Everybody in uthology is screaming for disclosure. The future is now.
This is Micah.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Hanks from the high Mountains of Appalachia and a bunker
below ground. Welcome, one and all. It is the Micah
Hanks Program. Glad once again to be getting behind the
microphone and going in pursuit of the anomalous in our existence,
as we do every week, because that's such an important
thing to do. From time to time. I've been really
blessed in that department lately, having recently had an opportunity

(00:58):
to catch up with my good friend Betsy aka Botsey,
who made it back to the mountains for a visit,
catching up with family, spending time out in Yellowstone Park
with my brother and my sister in law and of course,
being able to catch up with people during my travels. Heck,
just the ability to travel itself is very important. My
good friend Juliette reminding me recently to maintain that attitude

(01:20):
of gratitude in whatever way we like to do it,
to show thanks for the good things that we have
in our lives. These are undeniably very interesting times. In fact,
that's a really nice way of saying that these are
scary times. And so for me personally, having gratitude and
being thankful for all the things that we have, even

(01:41):
during concerning times, that is so very important. So again,
thank you to all you out there who occasionally write in.
I can't respond to every email or message that I get.
I do try to read as many as possible. I
do want to thank you for all of you out
there who express gratitude and goodwill in altogether very concerning times.

(02:01):
I also get a lot of questions about things that
are happening in our world. For instance, there was a
whole flood of emails and text messages over the last
week involving a meeting that was held in Washington, and
this was a meeting of a very different kind than well,
really any that I know of in the past. And
the reason for that is because essentially all of the

(02:21):
top brass of the American military, everyone from every different command,
from all parts of the globe, were summoned to Washington
for a meeting with our well not Secretary of Defense
any longer. The new name, I guess is the Secretary
of War, because the Pentagon has now changed the name

(02:41):
officially to the Department of War. Now, on a personal note,
I know not everybody's going to agree, but I do
worry sometimes about what kind of a message we are conveying,
because war and defense are related concepts, but they're a
little different, right. Defense is something we all have aright
to be able to do and should do. War is

(03:02):
the kind of thing that you hope never happens. And
so just in terms of optics, I suppose it's fair
to say I have a few concerns about the newly
rebranded Department of War. But all that said, our Secretary
of War recently gathered everybody up there in Washington for
this meeting, and there was a lot of speculation, a
lot of people concerned, a lot of people in the

(03:24):
military speaking on background and saying things like, you know,
We've never had anything quite like this before. We don't
know really what to expect. We don't know what we've
been called in to discuss. We don't know what this
briefing is going to be about. And partly because of
the attention this meeting was getting before it even happened,
I was getting a lot of interesting messages from people
with questions about what I thought this meeting might be about.

(03:47):
And I wonder how many of you can guess what
one of the main theories about what this meeting may
entail had actually been. If anybody guessed three I Atlas,
you'd be right. A lot of people sending messages asking
what if this is the real deal, just like what
we've seen in the movies, but now in real life.

(04:07):
What if officials using the advanced technologies that they have
that nobody knows about. What if they have confirmed that
three Eye Outlasts is in fact an alien spacecraft, it's
not just a comet, and that it's speeding toward Earth.
I mean, what else would we bring the entire US
military together, all in one place, all at one time

(04:29):
to discuss, other than a possible alien invasion as of
today that can affirm that know this meeting had nothing
to do with a comet known as three i Atlas,
and it is still indeed most likely a comet. I
say most likely only because, as we've all heard by now,
there are some popular speculations circulating online that involve some

(04:51):
more exotic possibilities. But in my opinion, and based on
all the data I have seen, and by all the data,
I mean essentially every paper that has come out since
this comet was discovered, and I've kept up with everything,
I assure you, and we've been reporting on that each
week over at the debrief dot Org. But I can
assure you most of the data that I have seen

(05:13):
points to the reality of Threeiatlysis being a comet rather
than an alien spacecraft careining towards Earth anyway. Later in
the program, I hope to try and get to a
update on the latest we know about three iAtlas, as
well as some other speculations involving extraterrestrial visitors. Primarily in
the next couple of segments, we're going to be touching
on a recent crash that occurred near the famous area

(05:36):
fifty one, and also we've got to discuss all these
recent mysterious drone sidings that have been occurring over NATO
countries in recent days. Lots to report on that, But
before we move on from the news segment here, I
do want to mention about that meeting that was held
up there at the Pentagon. We do now know what's
going on, so I'm not just speculating about it not

(05:58):
having to do with threeiatlas. No, it was reported on
Tuesday by Politico that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Notice, by
the way, even Politico got that wrong old habits, I suppose,
because technically it is War Secretary Pete hag Seth.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
But according to.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
Politico's reporting, they say he outlined an overhaul of military
standards and gender rules on Tuesday in an extraordinary meeting
of top brass, an effort that could reduce the role
of women in combat as he seeks to bolster an
image of American might. Now, if you're not, dear listener,
I'm going to refrain from further comment on this at

(06:35):
least for now, no matter how much I have to say,
no matter what's on my mind. I'm sure some of
you have already read between the lines with my feelings
about the recent rebranding of the Department of Defense as
the Department of War. But again, I illustrate this point,
and I'm touching on this headline because A A lot
of people have been writing and asking about this. B
A lot of people were scared and c know this

(06:58):
has nothing to do with an election edged alien invasion.
Lots of people are still worried about. You can read
all about this at Politico if you want, although I
will say a lot of people are saying that there
are clashes occurring behind the scenes with top brass and
the current leader of our military. Some have even gone
so far as to say, and I'm quoting a source

(07:19):
speaking on background here, as cited in a recent article
that appeared at The Daily Mail, but this source said
that the United States Secretary of War is quote crawling
out of his skin. Why is that the case? Well,
according to the males reporting here, they say that mister Hegseth,
over the last few weeks has quote been erupting in
tire ades, raging at staffers, and obsessing about matters related

(07:42):
to his security. Another individual said there's a manic quality
about him, or let me rephrase, an even more manic quality,
which is really saying something that insider described saying that
mister Hegseth had been visibly distracted, fidgeting and even standing
up and pacing during meetings. Now I get it, that
job obviously is a very high stressed job. You are

(08:03):
leading one of the largest militaries in the world, and
that's no small task. However, these sources who spoke with
The Daily Mail say that they think mister heg Seth's
on edge appearance as of late has a lot to
do with the violence we've seen recently in this country,
and that he's very concerned about these issues. As The
Mail reports, our sources tell us heg Seth insisted on

(08:24):
pushing through the Department of Defense's name change to the
Department of War months earlier than his staff was ready,
but rating those who tried to delay the announcement. They
also say, and again quoting from the article here, that
he has had tirades in response to legal advisors and
congressional members' suggestions that the military's recent killings of alleged
Venezuela and narco traffickers on boats in the Caribbean broke

(08:46):
international law. He takes things personally when challenged. One of
those sources said so altogether. I hope that that provides
a bit of context for what was happening last week,
what of course was going on at that meeting, and
why a lot of people were very concerned. And again,
like I said, these are very interesting times, very concerning times.
I have a lot of concerns, no less among them,

(09:07):
by the way, the current government shut down. I've got
friends who work in government in various places. And again,
keep in mind, this extends far beyond Washington, d C.
We are talking about people who have federal jobs all
throughout the country, people who are serving in our national parks,
people who are serving in crucial positions involving everything from
healthcare to yes, national defense. Again, if you'll just indulge

(09:30):
me for a moment, I will say this much. If
we're going to hold meetings about holding our military leaders
accountable and making sure that warfighting is what the United
States is known for and best at, you'd think that
preventing the government from shutting down and thereby ensuring that
those war fighters men and women alike get a paycheck

(09:51):
would be a top priority, just saying, But then again,
maybe that's just me looking at some science news here.
Really quickly too, we have a fascinating one about something
unusual and truly bizarre that was observed back in twenty nineteen,
which involves a gravitational wave event less than a tenth
of a second in duration, however, compared to drawn out

(10:14):
shirps they say of black hole binaries on decaying orbital spirals.
In recent reporting over at science alert dot com, this
event likely involved two black holes snaring each other in passing.
But that's just one interpretation, because a new paper now
suggests that what may actually have happened is that there
was the collision of a black hole, but in another universe,

(10:39):
and that the reverberations of this black hole collision in
another universe might have actually reverberated through a collapsing wormhole
that formed as a result of that merger. In other words,
they are claiming, according to this new paper, that what
we may have detected during that twenty nineteen event could
be evidence of another universe, and how physical phenomena very

(11:02):
similar to wormholes that may connect these disparate universes may
actually be detectable. It's an interesting question. Are we on
the cusp of having the gear that we need to
be able to detect phenomena occurring in other universes might
not be impossible, and in fact, we might not be
that far away from actually being able to do this.

(11:24):
That's absolutely remarkable to me. Another interesting study, by the way,
that just came out looks at how micro lightning could
explain a phenomenon that no doubt has given rise to
UAP reports over the years, because for centuries people have
described these strange little balls of light often seen floating
around locations like marshes, wetlands, even cemeteries known of course

(11:48):
as willow the wisp. These unusual balls of light are
believed to be linked to decomposition and hence why you
have them around marshes and even cemeteries where things that
are dead are breaking down. But the scientific theories as
far as what may actually cause this phenomena, this luminous phenomena,
have remained largely speculative. Well, a new study led by

(12:11):
Richard Zare at Stanford University thinks that they now may
have an explanation. The group had previously studied a strange
luminescence arising from charged microdroplets of water known as micro lightning,
and now they think this also could be linked to
the mysterious phenomenon known as willow the wisp. As they
explain in a recent study quote, the close approach of

(12:32):
oppositely charged microdroplets causes an electrical discharge and leads to
luminescent emission. The light emission happens without any external voltage applied,
and the electrical discharge is sufficiently energetic to excite, disassociate,
or ionize surrounding neutral gas molecules. Altogether, the team believes
that this kind of reaction could indeed be what's behind

(12:54):
mysterious appearances of willow the wisps. And that's mainly because
this micro lightning phenomenon would provide enough energy to ignite methane,
and of course for methane to be present, there has
to be decomposition. But that is where we encounter a
bit of a problem when it comes to the varieties
of luminous phenomena that occur in nature, because we have
a very well known phenomenon right here in my region

(13:17):
known as the Brown Mountain lights, and some have tried
to say it's essentially the same thing, probably just swamp
gas in other words, and that itself calls to mind
the infamous words of the late j. Allen Heinick, who
many decades ago when he was the science advisor to
Project Bluebook, offered a potential explanation for a series of
recent UFO sidings reported by Michigonians back in the nineteen

(13:40):
sixties as having possibly been swamp gas. And Heinech, of course,
was the recipient of a lot of ridicule for saying
that Gerald Ford, in fact, who would go on to
become the president, but at the time he was just
a state representative there. But yes, mister Ford, calling out
doctor Heinich, said, you're not going to tell residents of
my state that they saw swamp gas when they may
legitimately be seeing strange things in the sky. Heinik never

(14:03):
really lived that statement down, but it was a learning
opportunity for a guy who ultimately would go on to
become one of the greatest champions of the scientific study
of UFOs. But in his defense, with little doubt, many
people do see things like swamp guess, and they mistake
that for UFOs. The problem is, there are other things
that might cause natural luminous phenomena, and those occurrences certainly

(14:25):
cannot be linked to issues like methane or decomposition happening
in swamps or cemeteries, micro lightning, or other related phenomena,
which brings us back to Brown Mountain, because, again, having
spent a lot of time down there in the area
where people see those lights, there appears to be very
little evidence linking whatever causes those lights to swamps or

(14:45):
to methane. Now that doesn't mean there isn't a lightning
like phenomenon that could be occurring, and I don't doubt
that from time to time these anomalous electrical discharges, however
they occur, might contribute to UAP sidings. There have been
science papers written about that. NASA, in fact, has even
studied this possibility. So we may have an explanation for
one variety of natural luminous phenomena. And with little doubt

(15:09):
in the days ahead, somebody's going to link to this
article or this study and they're going to say their ego,
yet another explanation for UAP. I would say, well, maybe
at least for some of them. But there are still
a whole lot of questions about the genuine mysteries in
our skies. And on that note, when we come back
here in a moment, a recent crash retrieval occurred near

(15:29):
Area fifty one. That and mystery drone sightings will dive
in right here on the Micah Hanks program.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
Did you know data brokers are making billions selling your
personal information, usually without your consent. That's how your information
lands in the hands of scammers, spammers, even stalkers. It's
why you get endless robocalls and why ads seem to
follow you everywhere. That's where Aura comes in. Aura actively
removes your data from broker sites and keeps it off.

(16:05):
They also instantly alert you if your information shows up
in a breach or on the dark web. With one app,
you get a VPN, antivirus, password manager, spam call protection,
dark web monitoring, and up to five million dollars in
identity theft insurance, all backed by twenty four to seven
US based support. Other companies might just sell credit monitoring

(16:27):
or just a VPN. Aura gives you all of it
at the same price competitors charge for just one service.

What do you do when things get tough? You don't
give up. You stand your ground. If you've been diagnosed
with metastatic prostate cancer and have tried hormone therapy. Ask
your doctor about pluvicto lutetium lou one seven seven if
you're pivoted to tracks attack. Plu Victo is not chemotherapy.
It's a different treatment that targets PSMA positive cells. It's
now FDA approved dot one hormone therapy or before chemotherapy.

(17:02):
Plue Victo is a prescription treatment used to treat adults
with prostase specific membrane antigen positive metastatic castration resistant prostate
cancer or PSMA positive mCRPC who have already been treated
with hormone therapy or hormone therapy and chemotherapy. Pluvicto involves
contact with radioactivity, which may increase the risk for cancer
and cause fetal harm. Drink plenty of fluids, urinate, often

(17:24):
use contraception, and talk to your doctor about ways to
reduce the risk of exposing others to radiation.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
During and after treatment.

Speaker 6 (17:30):
Plu Victo can cause low levels of blood cell counts,
kidney problems, and infertility. Tell your doctor if you have weakness,
pale skin, shortness of breath, bleeding, or bruising more easily
and infection or changes in urination. Side effects include decreased
blood cell counts, tiredness, dry mouth, nausea, appetite loss.

Speaker 4 (17:47):
Join for back pain and constipation.

Speaker 6 (17:49):
Ask your doctor about pluvicto because every day without cancer
progression is a victory. Visit pluvicto dot com to learn more.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
Welcome back. Did something crash in the desert out there
near the famous and actually somewhat in from US area
fifty one? Well, the short answer is yes, although we
still have few details. You know, on Monday morning at

(19:11):
about one thirty am, I was live on the airwaves
with George Knapp, who was hosting Coast to Coast AM,
and he asked me to come on for that first hour.
And right before we went live, I mean just a
few minutes before I jumped on this call with them
their at Premiere Network, George sent me an email and
he says, have you seen this? And admittedly I had

(19:33):
not yet seen this. So I've got a credit George
Knapp for being the first person to bring this to
my attention. But indeed, there was an incident that occurred
recently involving the crash of an unknown aircraft out there
in the desert near Area fifty one. Now, to be clear,
this is a US military aircraft. We have some idea
of where it came from, but we still have a

(19:54):
lot more questions than answers. So to give you an
idea of what's going on here, the Independent reporting that
the US Air Force is investigating an incident involving a
military aircraft from Creech Air Force Base near Area fifty
one north of Las Vegas. Following news of this crash,
the Independent reached out to representatives from the Air Force

(20:14):
for comment, as well as Federal Aviation Administration. Apparently nobody
had any kind of information. They simply kept telling them
to go and contact the government and asked them then again,
of course, the Air Force is a part of the government,
so is the FAA. Apparently nobody really wanted to comment
on what had happened.

Speaker 7 (20:33):
Now.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
I was intrigued enough by this story that I too,
reached out to Creech Air Force Base public affairs, and
I received a notification from the public affairs officer of
their own duty. And this is all that they would say. Quote,
we are aware of a September twenty third, twenty twenty five,
incident involving an aircraft from Creech Air Force Base. There
were no fatalities, no injuries or property damage. The incident

(20:55):
is under investigation. No further information is available at this time.
And then they forward all the queries right back to
the same person who I had reached out to who
provided me with that statement. So that statement was received
on Monday of this week, and in fact, that very
same quote appears in the reporting by The Independent and
other outlets who were covering this story apparently late last week.

(21:17):
So it seems that there has been no additional data
provided to the public about this incident. Now that all said,
the Independent did nonetheless find out that the FAA issued
a temporary flight restriction that covered a five nautical mile
area east of Area fifty one. That information, by the way,
I believe was first reported by eight News Now out

(21:38):
of Las Vegas. But apparently this flight restriction covered airspace
near Highway three seventy five. It was put in place
only they say for reasons of national security. No other
details were provided, and this temporary restriction advised pilots avoid
that area unless, of course, they had specific authorization approved
by the FAA. Those restrictions were set to remain in

(21:59):
effect until October first, so presumably that notice would still
be in effect as of right now. But interestingly, the
crash of this object out there in the desert near
Area fifty one isn't the only Area fifty one related
story we've seen recently, because there also was apparently a
recent shooting at Nellis Air Force Base. During this incident,

(22:20):
an unidentified person apparently opened fire at the base's main gate.
This occurred last Wednesday morning and prompted a forceful response
from security personnel. They said that these suspects started shooting
toward the gate at around twelve thirty a m. And
was thereafter confronted by base security forces. Apparently, the individual
then aimed a weapon at the responding officers and they
returned fire, striking him in the leg, according to a

(22:42):
statement provided by Annellis Air Force Base spokesperson. Initial reports
indicate that civilian was behaving erratically and initiated contact with
multiple shots from a firearm. Apparently, medical responders then got
out there. They stabilized the gunman with a tourniquet and
then transported them to a local hospital. They had non
life threatening in at that time. So there's been a

(23:02):
lot of excitement out there in near area fifty one recently,
to say the least, and yet we still have very
little in the way of information about the crash involving
the aircraft from Creech Air Force Base. Now, some of
you may be familiar with the legendary website Dreamland Resort,
and if you weren't aware of it until recently, one
reason you might know about it now is because of

(23:23):
a recent FBI raid that was carried out on the
home of the man Jorg Arnu who runs that website. Apparently,
of course, he had posted some imagery related to the base.
He's been doing that for years with little doubt. When
you post imagery related to a highly secure, secretive US
Air Force base where some of our most advanced toys

(23:45):
are being tested, yeah, you're probably going to end up
on the government's radar. And so mister Arnu had posted
some imagery and shortly after that, the FBI shows up
at his house. They grab his computer, they grab his
wife's computer, and in fact, mister Arnaud has made some
information about this available there at that website, Dreamland Resort
dot com. Well, in any case, mister Arnu also recently

(24:07):
traveled out there to the crash site associated with this
incident from September twenty third, and an entry posted there
on the forum page at the website, he says, this
video shows the first footage of the UAV crash site
near Area fifty one. The UAV crashed here around twelve
thirty five am on nine twenty three, twenty five. The
entry goes on to say that the video shows the
crash site in the early afternoon of September twenty seventh,

(24:30):
immediately after security and the recovery crew pulled out, So
presumably Arnu was sitting up there watching the security crews
and as they left the vicinity, or at least shortly
after they left the area, he seems to have gone
in there to get a view of the crash site.
And if you watch the video that he posted about this,
which can be seen on YouTube again, a link is

(24:51):
available there at Dreamland Resort on the forums page. But
watching the video, you don't really see all that much.
And I noticed at least a couple of commenters saying,
based on the appearance of the alleged crash site, doesn't
look like there was a very large craft that went down,
and mister Arne, who seems to confer yes, it was
believed to have been a UAV. So that's virtually everything

(25:12):
we know about this mysterious incident that the Air Force
won't talk about. Some kind of a drone apparently went
down right out there near Area fifty one, and naturally
this has led to a bit of speculation about what
kind of mysterious aircraft could have crashed, mostly due to
the association with Area fifty one. But now, this is
part of why this story is so intriguing to me,

(25:34):
because there's actually quite a history of unmanned aerial vehicles
or prototype aircraft being mistaken for UFOs and when they crash,
how these things naturally can contribute to speculations about exotic
aircraft going down. And there's a pretty good reason why
so many of these crashes archetypally seem to happen out

(25:55):
there in the desert, especially when you consider the proximity
between these locations and these high security facilities down there
in the American Southwest where our experimental aircraft are developed.
Really not a big coincidence there, in my opinion. Just
look at Kirtland Air Force Base, Menzano, Coyote Canyon, all
of these locations which hosted classified work, lights, telemetry countermeasures.

(26:19):
Any of these things might, under the right circumstances look
really anomalous if not viewed in their proper context. Take,
for instance, the famous sightings by Paul Benowitz. He thought
he was seeing UFOs. In fact, he wasn't the only one.
Government documents later released through the Freedom of Information Act
actually revealed that there have been a lot of sightings
by base personnel of strange lights and things that they

(26:41):
thought might be UFOs. Turns out the National Security Agency
had been doing some tests around that time. But Paul
Benowitz he observes these things, and he goes to the
base officials and says, I am intercepting messages. We've been
seeing lights for weeks. I think there's something going on
in the skies above your base. And speaking of notorious cases.

(27:01):
In Benowitz's case, the Air Force apparently encouraged his belief
that these things were euphological rather than being governmental and
involving secret projects, and he was encouraged to believe that
there were UFOs involved, This, of course contributing to a
growing paranoia that Benowitz had already begun to display, but
one which eventually caused him to go completely mad. And

(27:23):
for anyone who isn't familiar with that story, again, I
refer you to the book by Greg Bishop called Project Beta,
which explains the entire story of Benowitz and what drove
him crazy. But one thing, and this is very crucial
in the context of the discussion about crashed drones and
experimental technologies feeding into UFO mythology. It turns out Benowitz

(27:45):
was also a pilot. And Benowitz was often flying out
there around the Archilta Mesa, and there had actually been
apparently some pieces of a crashed experimental aircraft out there
on that mesa, on a rather rugged portion, and as
he's lying over it, Benowitz saw these pieces of the wreckage.
And because what he saw at that time was so

(28:05):
strange and otherworldly. Again, given the perspective that he had
the outlook, you might say, having been told by government officials,
yeah we think you are intercepting alien messages. Oh yeah,
those like you saw those probably are UFOs. Again, his
general worldview held that there probably are UFOs. The government
acknowledges they may be lurking around the base. Something is

(28:26):
crashed out there near the Archialida Mesa, I'm going to
fly over there to take a look. Oh, and there
it is. Now, if you already had that mindset, what
would you think if you saw the wreckage of a
craft that looked unlike anything you'd ever seen before. It
looked far more advanced, more futuristic than any known aircraft
in our inventory. Sure, Paul Benowitz solved us and said,

(28:48):
and now I have found the smoking gun. There is
the crash wreckage that supports my claims. We now know
aliens are operating in this area. And in fact, there
are images, I believe that appearing great book Project Beta,
that were drawn by Paul Benowitz based on his recollection
of what these objects that he saw the crashes during
his overflights, what these things actually looked like, and comparing

(29:11):
them to what are now known as stealth prototypes that
would have been developed and tested right there in that
part of the world. Indeed, it seems evident in hindsight
that mister Benowitz had discovered some crashes that involved US technology,
not alien technology. And one might argue that in fact,
there is a much deeper rabbit hole here that goes

(29:32):
back through US history. Tests in the Southwestern deserts after
the Second World War experimental technologies that we send up
into the air and they come down and they don't
come down so softly. And when you have an experimental technology,
maybe something involving a rather controversial kind of test, and
that goes down in the desert someplace, why would the

(29:54):
military want to come out and say, you know what, folks, sorry,
we dropped one of ours out there, and there may
have been some lives lost, ladies and gentlemen. Nothing to
see here, though, we've got the situation under control. No,
of course, the military is going to try and cover
that up. These days, they say as little as possible.
But in the past, practices were a little different, and
I do suspect that there may have been some cases

(30:15):
where some disinformation was planted in an effort to try
and convince people that some of our wreckage, some of
our things that fell from the sky, actually came from
much further away. And again, it takes very little to
sow those seeds of rumor and conspiracy. Before a few
decades later, books are being written, television shows are being produced,

(30:36):
documentary films are being made, and before you know it,
small towns out in the New Mexico Desert suddenly have
annual festivals celebrating the UFOs that many decades ago came
to visit and ended up crashing out there in the desert.
Kind of makes you wonder, in a few years from now,
are we going to hear a new legend about a
UFO crash that was retrieved from out there in the

(30:58):
desert near area fifty one, Or will the Air Force
eventually come clean and tell us what actually took off
from Creach Air Force Base and crashed in the desert
last week. We're going to stick with a drone subject
and look at the ones that have been seen over
parts of Europe when we come back right here on
the Micah Hanks program.

Return of the mystery drones, and this time not over
the Northeastern United States. Know they've been observed in the
airspace of NATO member nations. Quite concerning. Indeed, we'll dive
into that here in a moment. First, I want to
remind you, if you aren't already an ex subscriber, you're
only getting half of the story because every week we

(34:35):
put out additional content for subscribers that in the form
of the X podcast which is the sister show to
this main primary weekly dispatch. And don't forget, we also
have the Enigmas specials, which, by the way, I'm happy
to say we're all caught up. I've been extremely busy
this summer and fell slightly behind on episodes. As of

(34:56):
this week, we will be all caught up on episodes,
and I'll already be planning my October episode, which of
course will have to be spooky, in keeping with the season.
So there's a little something to look forward to, a
little something for everybody. In fact, you can find all
the information about that at Micah hanks dot com forward
slash x. Yes, I said spooky. I know that there

(35:18):
are those stiffs out there who say, oh, but you
know what, if it's not credible reporting all the time
on UAP or whatever's happening with our government, then we
aren't interested. Well, I say quite the contrary that every
now and then you also have to let your imagination wander.
You have to enjoy a little on the speculative side.
I try to do that with Enigmas. But of course
you're on the primary show. Yes we look at news,

(35:39):
Yes we look at hard hitting stories involving what our
government may or may not know about UAP and its
investigations into it, add other things which you and I,
dear listener, find interesting. And so with that said, we
should now look at one story that has really caught
a lot of people's attention here in recent days. We
once again have the Independent reporting here that day. J

(36:00):
Mark has now said it was the victim of a
hybrid attack after repeated unexplained drone activity that occurred near
five of its airports this week. They say that the
most recent incident occurred at Alborg Airport in North Denmark,
which closed on Friday after there were several drone sidings there,
apparently despite similar incidents occurring at several other airports those

(36:22):
remained open. But recently, in response to these drone sidings,
Prime Minister Fredrickson has refused to rule out Russian involvement,
particularly after a series of drone sidings. Ever, Copenhagen Airport
caused it to shut down for four hours in an
incident that I'll point out mirrors something that happened at
Wright Patterson Air Force Base late last year. Now, there

(36:44):
are some out there commenting about this on social media
and they are engaging in a unique phenomenon which I
have observed in the past. That is the idea that, well,
we have no actual evidence that there are any drone
sightings taking place. That's right. If we can debunk all
UFO sidings and prove that these are all just satellites, meteors,

(37:06):
strange weather phenomena, balloons and things like this, maybe we
can do the same thing with drones.

Speaker 7 (37:13):
Now.

Speaker 3 (37:13):
In my opinion, the problem with that logic, although it
appears to be prevailing in some skeptical circles, is that
drones exist. Right, We do know what drones are. Now,
not every time that somebody sees something in the sky
that they think may be a drone, are they correct. Yes,
I'll acknowledge that a lot of alleged drone sidings actually

(37:34):
involve planes or stars or other things. But it sounds
an awful lot to me like there were actually some
drone sightings in Denmark recently, and that some of these
sightings of these objects over airports were indeed concerning enough
to cause those shutdowns. In fact, I think the same
thing was probably happening late last year at some of

(37:54):
the military sites in the United States that shut down,
like right Patterson Air Force Base for ends. So while
I will concede that indeed there are a lot of
drone reports that actually did not involve drones, I think
we should be really careful about applying that en mass
to every alleged drone report and saying, well, until you

(38:15):
show me good video that I can prove is an
actual drone, then there are no drone sidings. No one
is actually seeing drones. In fact, let's take a quick
look at the timeline of events going all the way
back to September twenty third, which intriguingly these drone sidings
and I'm not suggesting necessarily that there is a link here,
but these drone sightings occurred or began, i should say,

(38:39):
over in Denmark on the same date of the incident
we were describing in the last segment involving whatever went
down out there near Area fifty one. Probably just a
coincidence in this case, but still noteworthy perhaps anyway, several
unidentified drones were observed in the airspace near Copenhagen Airport
for several hours on September twenty third. Flights were grounded

(39:01):
and this caused some delays that spilled over into the
next day, which would have been Tuesday last week, according
to authorities. At that time there were two to three
drones that they said had been flying in complex patterns
with lights switching on and off, and this suggested, they said,
skilled operators who were testing or maybe trying to demonstrate

(39:21):
their capabilities. Now, a couple of really important points here.
First of all, had these been conventional aircraft, they're not
going to remain in the airspace above Copenhagen Airport, that's
one thing. Two, they're not going to turn their lights off.
And on three, No sightings of celestial phenomena like stars
in likelihood matched those descriptions. Although we could suppose that

(39:44):
maybe a bright enough star, if there had been clouds
passing overhead, could intermittently have been blocked from view by
the passing clouds, and it might have given the appearance
of an object turning on its lights and turning them
back off. So that's at least possible, although I will
say that if you look at all of the data here,
colored lights, objects that are moving around for up to

(40:04):
four hours, objects which appear to be moving in unique patterns,
demonstrating some kind of a show that they said looked
like tests, or maybe demonstrating capabilities. All these factors do
seem to describe drones, and one would further think that
officials at one of the largest airports in Denmark would
recognize over a period of four hours, if these were

(40:27):
just stars or planets. I don't think that there are
skilled operators at a major airport in Denmark sitting there
steering at Venus for four hours saying is it a drone?
Are we under attack? So again, giving these officials credit
it at very least sounds to me like there were
drone sightings that actually occurred. Furthermore, when the police investigated this,

(40:47):
a spokesperson, Jess Jasperson called the operators of said drones
quote a capable actor and suggested that the intent that
they seem to be demonstrating was practice rather than immediate harm.
But nonetheless, it seems pretty evident also that these drone
practices or whatever you want to call them, over a
major airport had been intended to be seen. That is,

(41:10):
I'll also point out consistent with the kind of behavior
one would expect from a hostile nation like Russia. They
are known to do things like this. I suspect this
is what they were probably doing when a series of
drone sidings began to occur over US bases in the
United Kingdom late last year, and because all of the
interest in the New Jersey sidings captured the media's attention,

(41:32):
unfortunately the sightings over those UK air bases ended up
kind of getting lost in the mix. Everybody says, oh,
there were no drones. The government came out and said,
nothing to see here. Most of these things are just
regular planes and planets. Well, I don't doubt that as
far as what was seen over New Jersey, although military
officials who I spoke with at Picatinny Arsenal and other
locations specifically said yes, we had confirmed reports of drones

(41:57):
in our airspace. We also had some sidings of things
we couldn't confirm, but we know that there were some drones.
So yes, I do think there were some legitimate drone
sidings during the New Jersey wave late last year. But
in any case, all of the attention that that supposed
wave of drone sidings got caused the sidings over the
UK air bases to be lost in the mix. So

(42:19):
here again we have drone sightings happening here again, just
like those incidents in the UK late last year. The
sidings over Denmark have also occurred in nearby countries like Norway.
That's right, A similar incident occurred the very same evening
on September twenty third at Oslo Airport, which also temporarily
restricted traffic to one runway. So responding to these sidings,

(42:41):
the Danish Prime Minister called the event the most serious
attack on Danish critical infrastructure to date. Along similar lines,
NATO's Secretary General Mark Ruta said that it was too
early to assign blame, but yet again, Russian involvement could
not be ruled out now. In response to those allegations,
the Kremlin has disc I missed these suggestions. They call

(43:01):
it unfounded accusations, and Russian officials have further taunted that
any disruptions that occur in Russian airspace will be met
with aggression. Wonderful. Now, again, one point, I think that
some of the skeptics are trying to argue. I did
see Mick West making this very point in his posting
on x the other day. He was saying, look, allegations

(43:21):
of drone sidings are serious business. Here's why they could
potentially lead to aggression. Russia is warning of that very thing.
And so when it comes to the skeptically inclined among
us saying we need really good evidence to support the
appearance of these drones considering what is potentially at stake,
I actually agree. I simply also think that we need

(43:43):
to strike a balance between saying drone sidings could happen,
but we need good evidence and people saying all drone
sidings are misidentifications of other things, because it's starting to
be very pattern behavior that's applied en mass, both to
UAP and increasingly with time now also to drones. When
we have the Danish Prime Minister, the NATO's Secretary General

(44:06):
and other officials all saying, look, we think there are
actually drones operating above our airports and we see this
as a security threat or, as the Danish Prime Minister
puts it, the most serious attack on Danish critical infrastructure
to date. Again, we should be taking that seriously. Also,
following denials issued by Russian officials at the Russian embassy

(44:27):
in Denmark, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko also warned NATO against
shooting down Russian or Belarusian aircraft near the Baltic region,
threatening again an immediate response, borrowing similar lingo. We also
had Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov saying a decisive response
would be issued to any violation of Russian airspace. Well

(44:48):
statements similar to these are primarily all we saw between
September twenty fourth and twenty fifth. Within a couple of days.
By September twenty seventh, we had Colonel Martin O'Dell and
NATO spokesperson who announced that there had been enhance vigilance
under Baltic's sentry, adding multi domain assets in the Baltic region,
including Denmark. And then the following day, on September twenty eighth,
Denmark's Defense ministry had confirmed that overnight there had been

(45:11):
fresh drone sightings, this time over several military sites. So
Denmark's transportation ministry banned all civilian drone flights from Monday
until Friday. And during that week the EU Summit, of course,
was taking place in Copenhagen, which may be a very
important point to raise that is very likely if indeed
drone activity was occurring over Copenhagen Airport and in subsequent

(45:33):
evenings military sites, that EU Summit would certainly be one
reason why that might be done, and because of course
the summit was taking place there in Copenhagen. Officials were
citing the need to avoid confusion between the operation of
any military, police or emergency drones which would be used
for security purposes versus the operation of any unauthorized drones.

(45:56):
In light of all these concerns, providing additional assistance, Germany
sent the FSG Hamburg, which arrived there in Copenhagen to
bolster air surveillance, and then finally German also agreed to
provide counter sUAS support. Specifically, the Zena C counter UAS
radar was deployed there at Copenhagen Airport. This bad boy,
let me tell you, is the real deal when it

(46:18):
comes to detecting small unmanned aircraft. Some of its key
capabilities include high performance three D air surveillance. It operates
an X band FMCW mode, meaning that it's capable of
detecting and tracking slow, low flying small aerial targets, in
other words, things like drones, and it distinguishes those from
aircraft like jets and helicopters. Now, some would argue, well,

(46:41):
you brought in that after these sightings, so how did
you have any confirmed drone sightings? And that I'll say
it's a fair point. But again, if there had been
any question about whether or not drone sidings were occurring
before with the rollout of the Zenta c counter UAS radar,
surely if there are any additional drone sidings in the
next few nights, we will now have no further doubts.

(47:02):
And again because of the features that this radar has.
It's also equipped with rotor Microdoppler detection, which can distinguish
hovering drones from background clutter. It can identify rotor structures
on little quad copters. It can also identify these things
even if the drone is demonstrating no forward speed at
that time. It's got three hundred and sixty degree volume
surveillance and it updates its radars essentially every one second,

(47:25):
which helps significantly in tracking and classification. And it also
has integration with existing air traffic systems, so that allows
this unique radar system that's been deployed there at Copenhagen
Airport to feed its data directly into the air traffic
and unmanned traffic management systems there at the airport. And
so yet again, if any more drones are showing up,
there's not going to be any way, they will be

(47:46):
missed with this radar system. So in short, with the
deployment of the Zenta c counter UAS radar there at
Copenhagen Airport, officials will now be able to ensure the
very rapid detection and classification of any future dronings should
they occur. And frankly, as concerning as some of these
incidents are, and again we will get into the possible

(48:07):
motives and implications of some of these drone sidings here
in just a second when we come back from the break.
But really, in truth, if these drone sidings occur, I
hope that the radar systems do detect them. I actually
hope that some of these drone sidings are confirmed and
that there's radar data available and officials can say unequivocally,
without any doubt, we know there we're drones operating. We

(48:29):
may even have a better idea now of who was
operating them, and we have hard evidence supporting those observations.
And the reason I hope that is because as sidings
like these have continued in recent days and at other
locations including Oslo, and in fact for months have been
occurring another nearby countries like Germany and others. With all
of these sidings occurring, there are still those out there saying,

(48:52):
show me proof that there's even been one drone siding.

Speaker 4 (48:55):
Right now, all.

Speaker 3 (48:56):
The evidence points towards stars, planets and regular aircraft. Well again,
if they've got good radar data supporting those observations, it
will be harder for us to deny that mystery drone
incursions have actually been occurring. We'll look at some additional
possibilities about these and a few odd speculations about three
I Atlas and other extraterrestrial affairs. When we wrap things

(49:17):
up here in a moment on the Micah Hanks program, what.

The return of the Mystery drones. If indeed there are
really drones operating in the airspace over NATO member countries,
Hopefully in the next few days we will have irrefutable
evidence of that. But of course, these sightings that have
occurred over the last week raise a lot of questions.

(52:27):
And yes, I know a lot of people probably think,
but come on, if these are just drones, then they
aren't you ap So why is that even interesting. Well,
let me tell you, first of all, it's fascinating to
me that phenomenon. I was discussing the last segment where
we know that drones exist, and yet there are some

(52:48):
who are so skeptical that they try to say that
even drone sidings are simply other things being mistaken for drones. Yes,
I know that actually does happen. Sometimes I'm not saying
it doesn't. The sighting's wave over New Jersey late last year,
I had a lot of people sending me videos. Some
of those videos and photographs and reports were obviously conventional aircraft,

(53:10):
stars and planets and other things. And that reality was detailed,
in fact, by a jointly produced report by the FBI,
the FAA, and a couple of other agencies late last
year which said, most of the data we collected and
our investigation points back to prosaic misidentifications, but again very
few point out in the small print, so to speak.

(53:31):
Toward the end of that report, those officials also said,
and yes, this investigation revealed an ongoing problem we'd already
been aware of. There are drone sightings over our military bases,
unauthorized incursions that are conducted by individuals whose identities we
don't know, but yes, this happens, and it's been happening,
and yes it's something that we need to address. And

(53:53):
that to me is incredibly important because again, our government
admits there have been drone incursions over its high security facilities,
and yet oftentimes this skepticism prevails. Furthermore, some of the
videos that were provided to me as evidence of apparent
drone activity actually do appear to show drones. But on
the other side of the equation, then we actually had
the sightings that may have shown drones that were appearing online,

(54:17):
and many UFO believers were saying, well, these are not drones,
these are actually UAP engaging in mimicry. And to me,
I find this entire situation so fascinating because those died
in the wool. UFO believers look at what might be
drones and they interpret them to be UAP, even in
instances where they actually resemble drones. Meanwhile, the skeptics look

(54:38):
at what might be drones and they treat them like
skeptics treat UAP and try to say that people have
mistaken regular, mundane objects for being drones, almost as if
drones don't exist.

Speaker 4 (54:51):
Here.

Speaker 3 (54:51):
Again, the skeptics in the UAP believers seem to have
an awful lot in common, and I strongly suspect that indeed,
at the end of the day, there probably were some
legitimate d own sidings, both in the Northeast last year
and also over UK air bases right around that same time,
and certainly right now over countries like Denmark and Norway,
coinciding with this EU summit taking place right there in Copenhagen,

(55:13):
where the airport was shut down the other night as
a result of some of these sidings. But the question
now of what it could all mean is what we
really have before us, because again the timing right there,
just days before EU leaders met in Copenhagen, and the
apparent descriptions you'll remember of the deliberate flight patterns do
suggest possibly a skilled demo or a probe rather than

(55:36):
an attack per se as the Danish Prime Minister characterized it.
But I will say that those activities are consistent, and
some experts have pointed this out elsewhere. These are consistent
with hybrid attacks meant to create uncertainty in order to
test procedures and to observe the response times of officials
there in Denmark in response to a critical event, in fact,

(55:58):
extending that idea of response time gauging tests carried out
over an airport in Denmark by let's say, in this instance,
Russian actors, if they did these tests over an airport
in Denmark, might the information they glean about response time
be applicable to future operations over locations like, for instance,

(56:19):
airports in the US or airports in the United Kingdom. Right.
In other words, if you're going to carry out a test,
why not do it close to home where you can
get out a dodge a little more quickly. You can
get all the data you need about how to operate
these drones, how quickly you can get them in and out,
and how quickly officials there on the ground respond, And
you can tuck that away for a rainy day when

(56:40):
you might have to use it elsewhere. So that's one
thing that should be taken into consideration. This is potentially
much bigger than just drones showing up over Norway and Denmark.
Now there's also the question about ship launched systems. In
other words, somebody out there operating a so called shadow
fleet in the Baltic This essentially might allow Russia or
any other state actor if they were trying to gauge

(57:03):
NATO's capabilities, or maybe just to antagonize them a bit,
to shake them up. This would allow them to do
that without leaving very much of a footprint behind. And
that primarily because these drones weren't shot down, and there's
a good reason for that too. In fact, authorities have
said they didn't fire because passenger aircraft personnel on the ground,
they're at the airport end nearby, and other conditions made

(57:26):
it more dangerous to try and shoot these drones down
than to just leave them up there in the air,
considering that they weren't engaging in any directly hostile activity.
And this is another important observation because again, any prospective
adversarial nation doing these kinds of things might exploit those
kinds of constraints. In other words, they're likely to pick
targets where kinetic defeat is least likely, and the more

(57:49):
likely outcome is there will be an airspace closure, which
in itself actually has quite an effect on that region.
It shuts down air traffic in that whole region. And
all they got to do is fly drones for a
few But now on the other side of the equation.
We also have to look at the rapid arrival of
other nations who are aiding against Sweden had said that
they would lend support. The FSG Hamburg arrived there on

(58:10):
the scene, there was the combination of French, German and
Swedish teams. All of this essentially classic reassurance and deterrence
that would tell any would be sponsor of grey zone harassment,
the kind of hybrid warfare that some outlets like The
Independent and others, and in fact, earlier today The Debrief
had been reporting about in an article by Tim McMillan.

(58:31):
But yes, this grey zone harassment is going to trigger
multinational mobilization. That's what all these countries coming to the
aid of Denmark is saying. And even if there is
no public attribution in terms of who is operating those drones,
these NATO members are saying, hey, listen, we will not
tolerate this. And finally, of course, all this at a

(58:51):
time where the US military is trying to lessen its
presence in those European countries, as we've seen in recent
months current at a time dudes expressed by the US
military leadership placed the cooperation between America and its allies
with NATO at an all time low, and for my
own part, again, this really not only weakens international security,

(59:12):
but it also causes these incidents occurring right now over
these NATO member states to be all the more concerning,
primarily because somebody out there is trying to send a message.
And in the past, along with our allies in Europe,
the United States would always be the country who says,
and you know what, we're not going to take that,
we aren't going to put up with it. And so fundamentally,
leaders around the world, wherever they are, they're walking a

(59:35):
fine line, you know, acknowledging that Russia could be involved,
but also trying to avoid premature blame, considering especially the
kind of messaging coming from the Kremlin right now. Overall,
that's good in terms of reducing miscalculation risks, but it
also prolongs the information vacuum that we're seeing right now.
We don't know exactly who's operating these drones or where

(59:55):
those hybrid actors actually thrive. So what we really need
is the radar data, which I hope will get. We'll
need the forensics to accompany that, the maritime domain awareness,
all of these layers of data collection will be required
so that we can not only identify who these actors are,
but prevent these kinds of hybrid warfare scenarios from continuing,

(01:00:16):
because in the broader scope of things, they could one
day end up having grave consequences that may not be
evident right now, but it certainly is not an impossibility
on down the road. Now, in the final minutes of
the program, I want to shift gears here a little
because there have been some updates, and again this being
relevant to these sort of military issues we've been covering
this week. Speculations about the big meeting up there at

(01:00:39):
Quantico Base in Virginia having something to do with Three
Eye Atlas, well, that wasn't the case. But there is
a good reason why a lot of people have had
Three Eye Atlas on their mind, because recently there have
been some rather exciting revelations about this comment, among them
including of course the discovery of its tail, which we
of course have covered here on the podcast. It had

(01:01:00):
already been established for some time that there was outgassing
being shown on the front the sun facing side of
Three I Atlas, and that was a little weird looking,
but again that's not necessarily inconsistent with what we would
expect from a large, icy object that comes speeding into
our Solar System from interstellar space. Well, sure enough, the

(01:01:20):
closer he gets to the Sun more evidently now is
the tale that's growing behind it, just as you would
expect if indeed this object is just a comet. But
now some of the latest data by a trio of authors,
one of them, by the way, Harvard astronomer Avi Lobe,
and a gentleman who has been no stranger to controversy
when it comes to three ialyus. But yes, this newest

(01:01:40):
paper written by Avi Lobe and his co authors Richard
Clayton and Peter Very now places new limitations on three
I at lis and suggests that the object is indeed
anomalously large. That is, indeed how Avi framed it. They
estimate that, based on several characteristics it displays three I
atlas must be around three miles long. Now diving a

(01:02:05):
little deeper into this in terms of how they know
it's that large and why they say that makes it
anomalously massive. According to the article I did on this
recently at the debris, there was data obtained from observations
in early August by the James Webspace Telescope, as well
as also NASA's sphere x mission and a range of
data collected by the Minor Planet System based on optical

(01:02:26):
measurements of three I atlas. And essentially, when the team
looked at all this data, they said that the object's
nucleus must possess a minimum diameter of what they estimate
to be around five kilometers, and that makes it several
orders of magnitude larger or more massive than the first
two known interstellar objects, O Muamua and Borisov. In essence,

(01:02:48):
three IE atlas is really large.

Speaker 6 (01:02:51):
Now.

Speaker 3 (01:02:51):
One reason this is so intriguing is because, taking into
consideration what's known as the principle of momentum conservation, those
gas jets, the out gassing on the sun face side.
It's essentially like a comet tail, but in reverse. And
when you have that happening, when there's gas evaporating off
of and being expelled from the front of this object,
in theory, one thing that that should cause is for

(01:03:13):
this object to slow down a bit. All that material
les ejecting from its front facing side as the Sun
continues to warm, it should slow it down a little.
But that doesn't appear to be happening significantly. And so
since all that material in front of the object doesn't
really seem to be slowing it down here again, it
must be really massive to be able to overcome that

(01:03:35):
force it is meeting from its own calculated gas outflow,
which again is calculated at being about four hundred and
forty meters per second.

Speaker 4 (01:03:41):
Quite a lot.

Speaker 3 (01:03:43):
Now, then you add in momentum balance equations, which further indicate,
according to Avi Lobin the team, that the comet's nucleus
likely possesses a minimum mass of around thirty three billion tons.
That's right, so three miles long and thirty three billion tons,
that's about the size that we're talking about when it
comes to three iyatlas. And then finally, those estimates are

(01:04:05):
actually pretty well within the range of previous reported higher
range estimates for the size of this object based on
imagery some of the best in fact that we've collected
to date, which was collected by the Hubble Space Telescope
earlier this year, which also seemed to show that this
object is much larger than the last two interstellar objects
that pass through our Solar System. Now, another thing that
makes this really anomalous is the fact that something that

(01:04:28):
large is the kind of object we should have probably
seen a little more often, and that even if they
are essentially pretty rare occurrences in our solar system. And
obviously we've only had the ability to detect objects like
this within the last few years, so it stands to
reason that there have probably been other O Mua MUA's,
probably other three eye atlases or objects like them, and

(01:04:51):
some of them have probably been really large. But according
to Avi and his team, the fact that we haven't
spotted them before it does seem a little strange and
rais This is some really interesting questions about what else
might be lurking out there in the space between the stars, which,
as we now know, occasionally makes its way right here
into our own planetary neighborhood. Hey, for ex subscribers, we're

(01:05:14):
gonna have some additional information about the weirdness of three
I atlas, what that could all mean, why some of
this new data clearly shows we are dealing with something anomalous,
even if it is just a comet, and why we
should keep our eyes peeled here in the days ahead.
That had much more weight for the time being. That
wraps up this week's podcast. As always, thank you for

(01:05:35):
being here. I remain your host, Micah Hanks, and until
next time, you guys, stay strange out there.
