Speaker 1 (00:00):
The amazing thing is right now as I'm sitting there,
you would rather have people's perception of you and your
persona that actually live in freedom. God said, You're gonna
lose the Instagram followers because I'm gonna have to blow
this whole thing up, but you'll keep your life. And
for some of you, you are thinking, would it be
better if I stay in a facade and be a
two face for the next decade, then to actually let
(00:22):
it all blow up, let the ship wreck and actually
live in freedom. And a wind in typhoon strength called
the northeaster burst across the island and blew us.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Out to sea.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Their drift took them to a place where they were
susceptible to be blown all the way out to see.
What I'm telling you is you the little things that
you are doing right now and not being anchored have
the They leave you open to the opportunity to be
blown out to see it said the sailors couldn't turn
(00:57):
the ship. Ain't it crazy that we always want to
turn it when it's too late. We always want to
turn it when it's too late. The marriage about to go,
and we want to turn it. Give me one more
chance that was like nine chances ago. We always want
to forgive when they're dead. Do you know how many
(01:18):
people cry over the grave sites? And if I just
had one more moment, And God said, you had so
many moments, but you let that arrogance when I told
you last year during Forgiveness University to actually write them
a letter and actually go to the Christmas And I said,
and you let that thing drift you away, and now
they're gone. And it said the sailors couldn't turn the
(01:43):
ship into the wind. This is the saddest part of
the story. So they gave up. They gave up and
just let him blow it, blow us anywhere. That is
the thing as a pastor that I am so grieved
by one is that people Christians, believers who drifted in
(02:06):
one season and now got blown out to see in
different areas of their life.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Now they've just.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Given up and now anything can come and blow them.
They they're walking dead. They literally don't care anymore. They're
just waiting for a moment to be and they're leading
other people down this And God said, I just want
you to be angered today. I came with every bit
of passion. I have to tell you to beg you,
to plead with you. Don't give up because you've drifted
(02:35):
into a storm. Whatever storm you found yourself in today,
you didn't obeg God, it didn't happen. You decided it
doesn't matter. Don't give up because you're drifted into a
storm today. God wants you to know that he sees
you in the storm, and he wants you to understand
(02:56):
that he will give provision in the storm. He will
help you in the storm if you decided or you drifted,
don't give up. And I don't know who I'm talking
to right now, but somebody was about to decide to
give their life up. Somebody wrote a letter and said
that I just need one more bad thing to happen
to me, and I'm gonna take my life. And somebody
else decided that this marriage is over, and you've already
(03:18):
contacted the divorce attorney, and somebody else decided that I'm
no longer living in this house.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
I'm running away. And I'm telling you, I know.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
You're in a storm, and I know it hurts, and
I know you don't want to take it anymore, But
don't give up. The ship is being overthrown with water
right now. Your family seems like it's drowning at this moment.
Your dreams look like you're seeing them from underwater. Now,
all God is saying is.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Don't give up.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Now I came to declare it until it connects with something.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
On the inside of you.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
You have not seen the best days of your life yet.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Even though you drift it far away from.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
God, he is calling out to you, saying, don't kill.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
These men.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
They gave up, But Paul was still on the boat.
Somebody anchored was still in the place of grace when
everybody else gave up.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
That's why it's so important.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
That you stay anchored, because you may be the reason
somebody else is saved that decides to give up. And
God saying, but I got one of my agents on
there that's anchored.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
Look at this.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
What ended up happening is you gotta read through the
whole thing because I don't got time to go through it.
But Acts twenty seven through eighteen that happened for days,
and now all these people who didn't listen to the
word of God earlier, they start throwing cargo overboard, They
start throwing key components of the ship.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
There was like, we gotta get this out of here.
We gotta get this out of here.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
We gotta move, and I gotta stop and pause for
the cause and give you this point because somebody needs
to get this. What matters in the calm doesn't matter
in crisis. Some of the stuff that you're caring about
right now, when you get in the storm, you ready
to throw it over. So I want you to take
inventory now. Don't put it on the boat if you're
gonna have to throw it off the boat.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Like, don't even put it on.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
There's some relationships you shouldn't be putting on right now
because you know six months from now you're gonna have
to throw them off the boat. You need to take
spiritual inventory, relational inventory, financial inventory. Don't put it on
the boat if you're gonna have to throw it away
in crisis, because in the comment looked good, but in
crisis it has no use for it. And then what
(05:32):
happens in verse twenty seven and verse twenty one is
my favorite. It said no one had eaten for a
long time. And finally Paul called to the crew, Hey guys, hey,
it's been a few days of a bunch of storms.
High everything's jacked up. Hah Yeah, your relationship. Yeah, business,
(05:53):
how's twenty twenty for you? Men listened to me in
the first place when I told you to anchor. I
hope that's not me in twenty twenty two saying the
word of the year is And for everybody who didn't
(06:14):
anchor in twenty twenty one, I really wish you would
have listened to me when God told us in January
and February anchor. Look why he said you should have
dropped anchor when I told you, you would have avoided
all this damage and loss. The damage and loss of
this year comes if we disobey the word of the
(06:37):
Lord to stay anchored. Everything will be jacked up next year,
and you will ask.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
God for a miracle to fix it.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
If we do not heed the word that God says today,
everybody say anchored, but look at the grace of God.
But take courage, Paul says, one of you will lose
your lives.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Hooray, even though the ship will go down. Hold up.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
See see, there are consequences to disobeying God. Nobody likes
to preach about this because nobody will come back the
next week.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
But I feel like I'm talking.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
To a bunch of anchored people who are saying, pass,
I need you to give us the truth so we
can know how to live our lives. There are consequences
for disobeying God, but you won't lose your life. That
should be encouragement as well as warning. None of you
are gonna take courage. I can just imagine Paul saying,
(07:38):
the ship going down, but it's okay, You're not gonna die.
What if that's the prophetic word for your life this year.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
Because you didn't stay anchored. You're gonna lose the house, but.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
You're not gonna lose your life. And the crazy thing
about it is you think the houses were more than
your life. The amazing thing is, right now, as I'm
sitting there, you would rather have people's perception of you
and your persona that actually live in freedom. God said,
You're gonna lose the Instagram followers because I'm gonna have
(08:15):
to blow this whole thing up, but you'll keep your life.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
And for some of you, you are thinking, would it.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
Be better if I stay in a facade and be
a two face for the next decade then to actually
let it all blow up, let the ship wreck, and
actually live in freedom. I'm telling you, God, does not
bless who you pretend to be.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
He blesses who you really are. And this is the
year that God's saying stay anchored. But if you don't,
the ship is gonna blow up.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
But don't worry, my grace is still sufficient and you
are gonna live.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
