Speaker 1 (00:00):
Obeying God's word.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Oh I'm preaching right now is God's favor on your
life before you need it.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
And I'm telling you stop and anchor on what.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
God said and stop high stepping the Holy Spirit. I
want us to go into one of these situations because
I believe God has something for me to share with
you off of this word that we've been gathering our
faith around all year. That's gonna this word is gonna
keep you all year.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Now.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
I don't say that often. I don't say like, hey,
this is a word that's gonna keep you all year. Today,
this is a word that is gonna keep you all year.
I want you to turn the Acts twenty seven at
this moment for context, Paul is a prisoner. He's on
his way to Italy. He's traveling by sea. He's out
here in the deep, deep deep. They're having difficulty on

(00:49):
this journey, and Paul is still being used by God
in chains.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Where do you feel?

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Some of you feel financially shackled, some of you feel
relationally shackled, some of you feel like nobody sees your work.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
It just feels like a prison where you're at.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
I just go from this job and then I work
this second job, and then I can't.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
It just feels like a cycle.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
But God, while Paul is in prison, I'm talking to
somebody right now.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
God still uses him.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
And they're on a ship and Paul notices this is
not God for us to be here. We should drop
our anchor, and he literally tells the captain of the
ship and the person who was running the ship.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Hey, we need to stop. Stop right now.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
The same way I believe God at the beginning of
twenty twenty one is saying stop. Stop everything that's going on.
Everybody says stop. No yelling at me, say stop. We
need to stop what we're doing right now, and we
need to drop anchor. He tells them we need to
stop and drop anchor, and it says the cul and
the captain ignored his warning. Look at an Acts, chapter
twenty seven, verse ten.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Men.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
He said, yeah, it's beautiful right now, but I believe
there's trouble up ahead of us if we keep going
this way. Ain't that how some of our situations are looking.
Right now, it looks fine, But if we keep going
and don't drop anchor right now, there may be trouble
up ahead of us.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
It says if we go on, I see a ship wreck.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Loss of cargo, and danger to our lives as well.
But look right here, it says, but the officer in
charge of the prisoners listened more to the ship's captain
and the owner than to Paul.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Write this point down right now.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Ignoring God's warning always leaves you wrecked.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
If God is warning.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
You, Anchor, get out of that relationship, stop working with them.
What is sunny Sky's right now? We're killing right now.
The numbers are up, and God says warning, stop Anchor,
keep coming to church. Stop watching that series. Yeah, because

(03:09):
season eight of that series is going to lead you,
on episode four into a path of thinking that's gonna
have you drifting. Well, everybody else is telling me, and
we watch it with our friends and all that stuff.
But the Bachelor right now is making you depressed. And
God said, you don't want to hear about it. I'm

(03:31):
not saying that anything's wrong with it. I'm saying it's
not right for you. Nothing's wrong with it. It's just
not right for you. And if God says stop Anchor, warning,
do you go past the warning of God? And I'm

(03:52):
just gonna tell you, like Paul was trying, to tell them.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Ignoring God's warning always leaves you wrecked.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Here at the precipice of something. It hasn't happened yet.
We haven't lost nothing yet. And this is the grace
of God when he sends a word when you don't
need it. Most people think God only sends a word
at the moment of the need of the word. But
God's grace sends a word before you need the word,

(04:23):
and then it takes faith to obey him. Right now,
it doesn't look like for many people that the word
of the year should be anchored. But what God is
doing is sending a word of grace and saying, right now,
why everything is good, why nothing looks bad while all
your relationships are working. I'm telling you stop drop anchor.

(04:49):
We shouldn't go any further like this. We shouldn't keep
moving like this. And I'm telling you, whether you see
it or not, in any situation, ignoring God's warning always.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Leaves you wrecked.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
I can think about it personally in my life the
times when I wrecked all kinds of craft, I always
stepped over what God had told me. And many people
are high stepping the Holy Spirit. You feel no peace,
and everybody in your circle is telling you that's not it,

(05:27):
and somehow you be like, but I just know it's right,
and you high step the Holy Spirit. Some of y'all
in houses that you high step the Holy Spirit.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Uh uh.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Some of you are going to drive cars this week
because they approved you, but you didn't ask.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
God were you supposed to do this.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
He told you to stop and keep driving that bahuti
and anointing it with oil every day. But you wanted
to look good for other people, so you high step
the Holy Spirit. And he said, I wanted you to
anchor because six months from now you were going to
be out of debt. But now you added another debt
onto the thing that I told you not to do.
And now you're out here praying for a miracle. But
I was trying to give you a warning. And some

(06:05):
of you don't see the warning of God as a miracle,
But it's a miracle in pre formed. It's the miracle
before you need the miracle, obeying God's word. Oh, I'm
preaching right now. It is God's favor on your life before.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
You need it. And I'm telling you stop and anchor.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
On what God said and stop high stepping the Holy Spirit.
Paul was trying to get these people to listen to him,
and the crazy thing about it is.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
They did listen to him.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
And this looks like most Christians, especially ones that watch
Transformation Church, what they do is they listen to Pastor Mike.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
But look what it says.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
It says verse eleven, But the officer in charge of
the prison listen more to the ship's captain and the
owner than to Paul. It's not about if you hear
the right thing, It's about what you're hearing.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
More of.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Your decisions are affected by what you were hearing more
of he said, he listened to Paul, so.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
He was literally sitting there like, Paul, what do you think.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Yeah, we should anchor, we should keep doing this, we
should stay right here. But then he started listening more
to voices that were not anchored in God. And I
dare say that many of the things that have happened
in our lives are because we've not just not listened
to God, because many of it, many of us are
listening to God. You tune in every week, you have

(07:35):
your devotion time. The problem is if we look at
the time that you listen to what God's word says
and the time that you listen to what culture says,
who are you listening to?

Speaker 1 (07:44):
More?

Speaker 2 (07:48):
They're not gonna like this one, Charles and I may
get a few messages on this one. What I'm saying is,
you're a product of what you're listening to more. I
don't want to call your favorite r and be singer
in your favorite depressed pop singer out right now. But
when you're in a bad mood and you don't go
to the word of God, but you go to the

(08:08):
music that feels right and connects with your soul and
makes you feel good about the situation, and they just
get me and they understand. And then you're asking God,
why can't I have joy? Why can't I be walking
in freedom? Why don't I have that? It's not that
you didn't listen to the Bible Act, it's not that
you didn't turn on relationship ghosts. It's that what did
you listen to more? You are a product of what

(08:30):
you listen to more. And these men are about to
start drifting because they listened more not to.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
The voice of God, but to the voice of the
people who were in culture.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
And that's why I believe God gave us the word
anchored this year, that we will not be able to
look to anybody in culture, in society, no matter how
much money, no matter how much status, we have to anchor.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Everybody shot at me anchor.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
We are anchored this year and in my time away
in July, when God gave me this word, he gave
me the expansion of this word. And I want you
to write down this. Twenty twenty one, this is a
prophetic word. Is the year of the anti drift. Twenty
twenty one is the year that we are anchored.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
But there's a reason, because we cannot drift.
