great to be here in person.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
And how did I get this vibe?

Speaker 5 (02:46):
Well, you know, just you have to first just feel sexy,
like it just has to come natural, right, you know,
and like once it's part of your vibe, then like
everything else just kind of radiates.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
And I feel like that's.

Speaker 5 (03:01):
What makes my my brand so special. Absolutely, I would say,
because it radiates that.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
You know, I love your brand. I think you've done
a great job.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
I love how put together you are, and I want
to learn first, where'd you come up with the idea
for cl.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
It took me up. It took me a quiet time.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
I wasn't sure on the name until the very end.
Like I knew I wanted it to be sexy. I
knew I wanted it to be cheek. I knew I
wanted to be simple but yet a classic, a staple
in everyone's closet.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
And the name.

Speaker 5 (03:39):
I really love French. I love how it sounds. I
think it's so romantic. I love the country through traditions,
like everything about it's so beautiful.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
It's so romantic.

Speaker 5 (03:50):
And when I think of a woman, I think of
her strong, but I also think of her like soft,
not trying too hard. You know, it's like you're flowing,
You're not You're like, it's not it's not forced. So
I was searching and believe it or not. Chat GBT stop, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
I wonder CHASHIVT will do here?

Speaker 3 (04:11):
St Yeah, chat GBT?

Speaker 1 (04:14):
What do we do with life before that?

Speaker 2 (04:16):
I think about it all the time, and I'm like,
I know, I like came up with good ideas, but
I don't know how I got to those good ideas
because now, like I'll do a few like enters into
chatgybt and I'm like, okay, wait, like hate what you're saying,
but like that reminded me, like I like this idea exact.
Chashbt is honestly a great tool.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
It is.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
It's amazing. Yeah, So I I put it.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
I put just like feminine names, short but simple, and
I saw cil and I just fell in love with it.
It means sky in French and in Spanish it's Celo
means also sky, So I'm I'm Latina. So I was like,
this kind of also pairs a little bit with my traditions,

(04:58):
you know. So I named it Siel and it just
matched amazing with a brand. It looks super nice on
the clothing once like you wear it.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Just see the glassy so classy.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Yeah, and you know what, I love a good Latino woman.
They are just hot and spicy without even trying.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
What the brand is like literally like I feel like
that's like what the brand is entirely based around.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Yeah, yeah, well you show it well and you're wearing
some sal today I am.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
So what also separates this brand from like other brands
is that, like I wanted to create something that you can.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Dress up and down.

Speaker 5 (05:39):
So right now, I actually styled it Capri style and
I'm wearing the black top under the leopard suret so
you can give it a little touch of like kind
of casual but also on the edgy side, but not
to like going crazy.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Yeah, it's really cute.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
I love it especially.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
I feel like Capri people either like where them right
or they don't.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Oh my gosh, thank you. So I actually seen that.
I'm just like, can I give you some seattle?

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Right?

Speaker 1 (06:15):
I love it? And how's it been going? So? How
long have you owned the brand?

Speaker 3 (06:19):
So it's been a year.

Speaker 5 (06:20):
Wow, I've mainly just been focusing on marketing. I feel
like right now the first year is based just on marketing.
It's the toughest year for any brandy, I would say,
but it is also the year where you can push
your brand to where you want it to be. And
I feel like that's kind of where me and my
team aren't right now, Like we're just making sure that

(06:41):
everything looks nice, websites up to date, inventories up to date,
the models are ready to go every single time we'd advertise,
and yeah, that's kind of where we're focusing our main year,
just marketing the brand.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
I'll tell you what. From your Instagram page, it looks
like it's a multimillion time band. It's so eloquently done.
It's classy, it's seamless. The pictures and the models are gorgeous.
The clothing is amazing.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
So I love it. Where do you come up with
the inspiration for your styles?

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (07:14):
So I do love watching runway shows, especially on YouTube.
I love models.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
I love their catwalks, I love their style. I love
the designers how they just put so much thought into
the woman. And when I see them, I just get
so creative. And that's where my light bulb just kind
of turns on and I'm just like, this is just
what I love to do.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
I'm like, meant to be in the Squirrels. Yeah, so cool,
this is like the Beast week. It's right now while
York fashion.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Yeah fashion, Yeah, inspiration this week.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
So that's really where I get my inspiration. And it it's.

Speaker 5 (07:53):
Like you know, where you go into something and you're
like you the euphoric kind of stay.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
That's where I fall into So I love that.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
That's amazing. That's how you should feel like that should be.
That's how you know you're on the right path, doing
the right thing. I feel like we feel that way
doing that.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
That's how we feel all the time. We're so thankful
and blessed and excited. And I will tell you, you know,
what I love about your brand is effemininity right leaning
into that. Talk to me about how you thought of
leaning into femininity and what it means to you.

Speaker 5 (08:24):
It means everything to me. I feel like if we
don't have that, like, how do we conquer the day?

Speaker 1 (08:30):
You know?

Speaker 3 (08:30):
How do we regulate our emotions, our state of mind?
You know, there's so much.

Speaker 5 (08:35):
Going on that if we can't have that and understand
it and be true to it, it's like anything that's
outside of the world can just break us down.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
You get what I mean.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
And there's a lot of women that struggle with that,
and I've seen it almost everywhere.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
Why do you think so many women struggle the outer world?

Speaker 3 (08:55):
Baby?

Speaker 5 (08:55):
You know, it's tough, Like we have so many people,
so many did you distractions, anxiety or inner thoughts that
try to break us down that it can lead to
a path of not discovering yourself. And I've always said this, like,
if you're in the wherever you are. If you don't
discover yourself, you're never going to be happy.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
You're always going to.

Speaker 5 (09:15):
Try to compete with whatever's out there or get confirmation
from other people that you just don't need, you know.
And for me, that's what feminine means. It's it's soft,
it's beautiful, it's confident, it's not trying too hard.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
It's knowing who you are.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
It's staying true to who you are, no matter what
the circumstances is, because that's what radiates, you know.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
I love that, And I feel like that goes right
back in hand in hand with wearing clothes. You know,
you feel your face evident when you're wearing the clothes
that you like. And I feel like that's how people wearing.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
Clothing is so important, how you stile it.

Speaker 5 (09:51):
And I feel like it's like that everywhere, like in
other country's like I'm.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
Gonna mention it again, but like in France and like Japan, Italy,
like they're all staples. Their thing is like dressing and
setting a personality, setting a tone.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
I feel like we need her as a stylist.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
I literally I wish I had this mindset where I
was just like oh, like I know, like this and
this go together, like I know to a certain extent,
but like to be like, oh, I could totally like
style this plain outfit and make it something like oh yeah,
I could imagine like I wish I had like me too,
a little bit more of that.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
I look to you for it because I just wear dressed.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
I know, and I get it a little bit. But
like to like the point where it's like like you're
passionate about it. I feel like that's a whole different level.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
And like just you can tell that she's That's.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
What I'm saying, Like you can literally, like you're saying,
you can dress up the leggings, you can dress down
the leggings, and you've dressed them up so well, thank you.
You can go out in the town after this.

Speaker 5 (10:40):
Yeah, Like I could go maybe get a drink, right,
go to a nice little brunch or something.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
Yeah, really really cute.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
I would love to stall you guys though.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
Yeah, I'm already clearly.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Already have like like minded styles. I feel like this
is very great.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
Yeah yeah yeah Staples Leopard Yeah right for sure.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
So first year in business as an entrepreneur is always challenging, right,
we talk a lot about mental health on this show.
Mental Health America Dutchess County is one of our partners.
And what if some of the things that have been
challenges for you? You know, there's so much that goes onto entrepreneurship.
I've started, ran, sold, and lost many businesses in my life,

(11:25):
and you know, it's hard, It's this roller coaster. What
have you been faced with?

Speaker 5 (11:31):
Oh well, I remember when I first started the manufacturer
that I started with.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
What they had wasn't what I received, and that.

Speaker 5 (11:42):
Took like what was supposed to take a month, it
took like four months.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Jeez.

Speaker 5 (11:46):
So yeah, so I started a little delayed, which is okay,
you know, it happens when you're starting a business. But yeah,
I feel like finding the right suppliers was the biggest
challenge for me, because I you put into thought of
what I want to promote. I wanted design and ohso

(12:07):
the sales part, you know, you don't really you don't
really make that much currency in the beginning because.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
You're just so focused on getting the name out there.

Speaker 5 (12:16):
So mainly your expenses come from your own capital. And
if you aren't like money managing properly, where you can
invest it can be stressful and it can feel like
a toll, like you're not going to make back what
you invested, is it? You get these thoughts in your mind,

(12:36):
you know, mental challenges.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
Where is it worth it? Or are you going to.

Speaker 5 (12:41):
Receive everything you made? Are people going to like your product?
A lot of darts do start to come in, and
I feel like, yeah, that's that could be the challenging
part of it.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
The first year is all just re rending, grinding and.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
Making sure you have enough money right to do it
all on your promises. But then you look at stories
like Nike or any athletic brand, or Victoria's Secret and
how they blew up from a thought or my favorite
girl who does the shapewear what's her name? Cabinet not Kim,
not skim. Thanks, thanks?

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Are you serious that? This whole time? He said, what's
her name?

Speaker 3 (13:21):
I know the lead I gave you pointers.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
I said, the one that created the panty.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
It is the name of the brand. Okay, anyway, let's
go back.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
She's a genius.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Yeah, the woman who created spanks genius right from nothing.
Literally went into the store and was like, look at
how this makes me look. Yeah, I do think We're
in a different era today where so many people are
putting things out because it's more accessible, and you know,
the American dream is real. People believe it right. But
I think the way to gain that market share doing

(13:51):
marketing for twenty five years is having a great story
and connecting to causes and aligning yourself with people that
hold true and meaning in what you believe in.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
Absolutely annually.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
I just love Pixie Beauty's on a second, I'm not
ready yet. Oh geez ash, seriously, you kidding.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
Have you seen how my skin has been glowing lately.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
I'm stopping. I mean, seriously, Pixie Beauty products are for
every day and they are the best. I love the
glow Tonic. It's become a staple in my skincare.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
I love that product. I use it every day before
I do my skincare, and honestly, it's like Braden's my face.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
I want to say, yeah. I mean, a guest commented
today on how beautiful you looked and that you were
dewey and glowy, and it's all because of Pixie.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Honestly, Pixie products just know how to make you feel
beautiful in your own skin.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
My favorite is the Pixie on the glow Blush. It
is so much fun. You can just stick it right on,
take it out. It's just one of my favorites. It's
so much fun and it looks so good on.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
Honestly, it gives you like a nice sunkiss glow. I
absolutely love it and it's going to be great for summer.

(15:31):
Mahoney's Pub where the weekend starts the right way.

Speaker 5 (15:34):
Well, yeah, I definitely I can say there is a
story behind my brand. I grew up with average parents.
We actually I'm from Queens and I was raised there,
and we had We lived in a two bedroom apartment.

(15:55):
Both my parents worked all the time. We barely spend
any family time together. So I did struggle with growing
up to wanting things, and an early age I actually
started working on my own. At the age of fourteen,
I started to work and I was just like, you
know what, Like I want a different lifestyle.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
And I just I love the hustle.

Speaker 5 (16:19):
Yeah, I just knew it in my heart's like I
need to just break this this family generation. I need
to be the first one to overcome this, to get
my mom out of this, to get my dad out
of this. And I just felt like, even though there
was a lot of pressure on over me, it made
me who I am today. You know, it really did.

(16:41):
And I'm not going to get emotional care. But I
don't think I would want to change my story any
other any other story. I feel like my story is
unique because the resilience the trial and error, the life experience,
everything just it molds you and and now I can

(17:02):
help my family.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
I can provide for my family.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
So there is a light there definitely is a light
under after the tunnel end.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
You know, what would you say to other people in
similar situations to what you were in to inspire them
to live their purpose? Get out of the rut, break
the generational traumas right.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
You know what I would say, just I know this
sounds locally tape, but just like keep going because the
unknown is what's going to get you to where you
want to be.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
We want an answer. I mean, we're human beings. We
want answers all the time, like are we going to
make it? Like isn't just making any sense?

Speaker 5 (17:42):
We're sometimes just too logical into thinking that. Like sometimes
that's not good for you. You just have to continue
doing it because there will be a point where you
will be set for it.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
You will get to you where you want to be.
You just have to trust. You have to trust.

Speaker 5 (17:56):
And that's the hardest part trusting, you know, because it's
like you're right there and then you give up.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
That's so true, it is, you know, it's crazy. I
have to just share a little bit of my background too,
because I resonated with yours, and I think people will
resonate with us. You know, I came from similar you know,
my parents didn't have much. I went to an affluent
high school because we lived in that neighborhood, small school,
but you know, we really didn't have much. There were
two neighborhoods, one that had money and one that didn't,

(18:24):
and I lived in the one that didn't have money. Wow,
is that not true?

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (18:27):
I mean, listen, it's kind of true, right, I mean, listen,
the ones that didn't have money were still way better
off than most. Right still. But I will say that
growing up, all my friends had BMW's and had My
best friend had a SOB convertible that was gifted to her.
Her dad was an accountant and her mom did the
books or whatever. I don't even know what they did
over there, but I will say that I just remember

(18:51):
like going to her house and it was huge, and
I was like, I don't know what I'm going to
have to do, but I'm doing this. This is the
life I want to live. And now I can't even
believe what my life has become. You've done it, I've
done that. I've done way more than that. I think
I could do it ten times over. And I've gotten
to a place in my life where I'm so grateful
and thankful. But it was the gratitude, it was the respect,

(19:14):
it was the hustle, it was the grind, and it
was the trial and error. I failed a thousand times,
my husband failed a thousand We learned, we cried, and
we did it again. And here we are and we're
still doing it. But what it's what it takes. And now,
like I try to help my family, this is my niece.

Speaker 3 (19:32):
That's that's what it is.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
That's what it is, like she wants to be in
this world. Let's do it together. You know, we have
a Yan and a yang here and.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Even this we talked about for so long.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Yeah, so young. We did well.
