This is a special listener Terrors episode. The stories sent
in by you are likely terror listeners. Send in your
own story at microterrors dot com. Welcome to micro Terrors,
(00:30):
scary stories for kids where it's always the spooky season,
full of chills, thrills, and spine tingling spooks.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Micro Terrors are family friendly frights for those ages eight
and up, and while our stories are for younger years,
we are still talking about things that go bump in
the night, and some children may not be able to
handle what others can. Parental consent is recommended now. Sports
(01:09):
of Knights micro Terror. Catfish Invaded River written by Jax
robertson age eight. We were hiking down to the river
behind our house. From a distance, I see an anchor
spike cut through the water, then a smaller one. I
(01:32):
realized that the big anchor ripple was actually just my
mind tricking me, and it's probably just a small anchor catfish.
We get to the weeds edge. We run quickly through
the weeds to avoid ticks and snakes, and get to
the bank of the river to make our descent down
to the water. Finally I swim down I see some
sort of anchor shape swimming towards me. Before I can
(01:54):
even call for help, it zooms behind me and bites
my legs and drags me down to the abyss locked
in the school by decimatingly age eight. Hello, my name
(02:17):
is Ellie, and one day I was in science and
I fell asleep. When I woke up, it was pitch
black except for the light from the TV that was
left on. Then there was a voice that came from
the TV that said, there is someone with you, and
you are not alone. I almost screamed, but then a
hand covered my mouth. It was my friend, Grace. Be quiet,
(02:40):
she whispered. We both walked out of the room, then
heard a loud bang. We looked down the long hallway
and saw a black figure with red eyes and fangs
coming towards us. Now I should tell you this, I
also have fangs, but Grace does not. The figure saw
that I had fangs, and my friend was scared, but
(03:00):
then she remembered I had fangs too, and it made
her feel better because she knew she had me. I
started to run towards the figure, but by the time
I got to him, he was gone. So me and
Grace went to the cafeteria because we were hungry. I
had a salad and she had a bunch of junk food.
I heard my phone ringing from the science classroom and
(03:22):
I ran to answer it. It was my mom calling.
I usually answer, but this time I hung up because
I saw him, the janitor. He was asleep and I
never thought he would sleep on the ground. Then it
hit me I could call nine one one. I noticed
Grace was on the phone and she was already calling
(03:42):
nine one one. Suddenly the door was kicked in and
it was the police. They took away Tom the janitor,
and me and Grace left for my house. When we
walked in, my mom hugged us. Since that night, we
are both homeschooled together, so Grace could come to my
house every day, even on the weekends, to just hang out.
Now we both feel safe unless someone comes in to
(04:06):
rob us. So that is my story of lucked in
the school.
