Miles Teller has had many successes in motion pictures including "Divergent" (2014), "Fantastic Four" (2015) and "War Dogs" (2016). In 2022 he scored the second lead  as "Rooster" in  "Top Gun: Maverick". In this episode Miles tells the story of Top Gun Maverick's "Great Balls of Fire" great scene including how it came about. Born near Philadelphia and in his early years he lived in the Cape May, NJ, area. He remains a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. Miles has been extremely active since Top Gun and has at least two films in post production including "Eternity" a romantic comedy to be release Fall 2025. This episode is short, interesting and informative. A "must hear" for all Miles fans and anyone who wants a quick update from one of the best actors of the times. I mean I wasn't even alive when the original came out.

Wow, And so now you're the heir apparent thirty years
from now. Perhaps I'm just honoring my late father.

Goose Baby, I'm just trying to just trying to do

So you were born in Downingtown, pennsylvani You playing alto sacks,
the drums and the piano. That was you knocking out

Yeah. When I read it in the script, I said,
I got a bit of a musical background. I would
like to attempt to do this live fellas it works,
so they let me yet work where it was live.

Yeah, no cuts, no cuts. Excellent, Yeah, excellent.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
In twenty twenty two, you started hosting SNL mm hmm.
The hosted the opener of their forty eighth year.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
What was that like?

Speaker 3 (01:20):
That have to be Anne, Oh, that was like we
come from a big SNL family. That was Yeah, that
was one of the biggest honors of my life. To
be honest with you, I absolutely love that show.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Any upcoming projects you can talk about.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Up coming projects. I got a movie coming out this
fall called Eternity, great film, romantic comedy set in the afterlife.
And then I'm working on a movie. I'm working on
a movie right now with James Gray, so we'll see
titled next Yeah, it's called Paper Tiger and it'll be
out next year. That should be out next year.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Twenty twenty six. That's that's right.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Well, Miles telling thank you very much for spending some
time you're busy in this American Century Golf Championship here
at the beautiful edge of Tahoe.

Of course I have to say this, of course, by law,
uh huh. In the state line.

The battle, although a lot of people say South Lake
Tahoe or a Lake Tahoe.

But NBC does a great job with everyone. Which what's
your impression. You've been here about ten years.

Ah, They doing such a great job coverage wise, fans, wise,
players wise, American Century you know, just so much contributing
to cancer research. So it's a win win all around.
