(00:00):
H h welcome back. It's anotherepisode of Besties Facts in Music. I'm

(00:36):
mold that's Hannah. Today's a randomday. I love it. I love
random day, except to your newmusic that I don't really get to listen
to often because Hannah has a completelydifferent days than music than I do,
and so she sometimes she comes upwith one that I'm like, it's pretty
good. I'm gonna start listening tothese guys. I fell down a rabbit
hole a couple of times with that. Uh you know that that Swedish or

(00:57):
Finnish heavy metal that you play acouple of times, and that stuff is
good. It's like Vikings with guitars. Love it. So today, like
I said, we're gonna keep itrandom and uh, Hannah, how are
you? I'm fine now. Uh. The family has been ill again.

(01:19):
We always are, so that's notnews. It seems to happen. Yeah,
but right now I'm okay, okay, how about you? I am
doing great. Uh you know, but actually I had a had a rough
couple of days. I've been havinguh, everybody but listens I I I

(01:40):
have told this before, but Ihave diverticulated. I've been having some pretty
bad issues. Lately, but hit seems to be pretty cleared out right
now. So I got some workdone yesterday before we started getting these downpours
that we're getting for the next threedays. Luckily, our power hasn't come
out yet, so I'm not gonnaagain that the curse doesn't hit us.
But so I've been uh, we'replaying a family barbecue pleasure reunion on the

(02:02):
tenth of August, so I've beencleaning up the property, you know,
I've been trying to get everything setup. You know, I got the
pool going all nice and clean now. And uh so we're we're we're we're
looking forward to that. We haven'tseen these people in decades. It seems
so uh, you know, everythingeverybody's about to get together. And I
usually try not to force people toget together, but everything's, uh,

(02:23):
you know, the way things aregoing lately, I think everybody could use
a break in a little party,so, like, come over and hang
out. We're gonna have some beers, We're gonna have some you know stuff,
play some more shoes, go swimin, you know, have a
fire, all that good stuff.Kitties can go off, play badminton and
volleyball and all that great ship.So uh so that's that's where I'm at
these days. So yeah, youknow, I mean it's it's it's living

(02:46):
the dream, you know. Souh you know, I mean, let's
let's let's get right into this. You know, I love music, You
love music. I love Beck, you love me? Who doesn't really we
don't really get to listen to thismusic a lot anymore because they don't play
it anymore, so at least aroundhere. And this, this breaks my

(03:07):
heart really bad because this is latenineties music, mid nineties, you know
what I mean, like maybe midnineties, and uh it's on classic rock
radio. People. I'm old now. I guess this stuff was in high
school. Okay, this was playingwhen I was in ice school. So

(03:28):
we're gonna listen to Beck's Loser, and I'm gonna drown my sorrows and cry
a little bit while we're talking. So if Hannah can hear that, I
think we're good. Yeah, okay, great, and uh it's pretty low
again. It is pretty low again. Let's let's see what we can do
better. Yeah, okay, good. For some reason, it was still

(03:53):
going okay, yeah, everything isjust weird lately. I don't know so
this is was her hand up.Uh what do you know about Beck?
Not much? Not much really.I came across a new song from Being,

(04:13):
which I liked, and then Icap into this old stuff, which
I love some. This is youknow, people didn't think about that fact
was you know, gonna be athose little Stone dude, you know,
you come out, he look likea skater kid, you know, and
then he puts out this weird asssong that like holy Ship, like a

(04:34):
big I remember in high school thatLoser was all over the place, all
of the place, Like that's allyou that's all you would hear is losing.
Uh no, you can't hear it. And now you can't hear it
anywhere. So I guess we werespoiled. So because now you know,
like like you said, you hereto classic rock radio is the only place
and that's rare. Like I don'tyeah, I don't get why nobody plays

(04:58):
about it. I should start alegit radio station. But you know what,
we got a Twitch channel. Imight just start playing fucking music,
uh and just doing you know whatI mean, Like I yeah, stop
if they're gonna who's gonna stop? What if there isn't any problems with a
little. I think there's ways aroundit. Uh And if anything, I

(05:20):
have to go back and get myuh like being be on my you know,
license to play music. So actuallyI shouldn't covered under that. I
didn't even think about that, allright, cool, So now I might
have to start up a Twitch channelplay some music because I think I'm legal,

(05:40):
So fucking YouTube, Twitch, stoptaking my ship down. I got
a license, so and we're gonnastick out what that random for? By
the way, uh and I wetalked about this last time. I hope
we have a new show with randomfort I get the joy shoot it over
to you so you can look atit and laugh your ass off because it's
fucking hilariou and uh like I didn'texpect it to come out as money and

(06:03):
it's just like, like, people, you're gonna love this show. It's
at four random videos from four randomartists, four random genres for four random
decades. Uh so four years andit's full. I think we're gonna we're
gonna make pretty good on this show. I think Anna said that she was

(06:24):
gonna join in and help out withthis, so I think we're gonna make
everybody like I don't know. Ikind of got a new lis on trying
what I want to figure out todo, you you know what I mean.
Like the channel has been kind ofin a flux of like different things,
like the podcasts obviously, but youknow, then there's is random videos
and the skids here in the videogames, and uh, I think,

(06:47):
honestly, it's time to focus alittle bit and then start using my skills
as in the media and yeah, you know, and a writer, and
start doing stuff because honestly, I'mboring and there's always so much I can
do, and I hear voices inthat all the times as we use it
videos. People think I'm crazy,They're right probably, So all right,

(07:14):
this was Loser by Beck and we'rewinding down here and there we go Beck
Loser off of his album I can'tremember for the life of me now,
son of a Bitch. I shouldI should have looked at him. I'll
put the link. I'll put ita lot about Beck. Yeah, alls
I know is really that he isa uh, very talented DJ as well

(07:38):
as you know, a songwriter. He's done more music after this that I
think people would consider, sorry, people consider more obscure, not like not
mainstream what's the other word for notquite mainstream but not quite like it's it's
like different. I don't know,it's just out what you hear normally.

(08:01):
Like that's why you don't hear himon the radio really anymore. He's putting
out music for his fans basically nowadays. So and what's your favorite, uh,
what's your favorite back song there thatyou've listened to? Well, the
one which is Yeah, that's whyI chosen. I wish I could remember

(08:22):
what was the news song that I'vephound, but I have no idea.
I'm just gonna check. Yeah,go ahead check. That's what we're here
for. That's what the internet isthere for. It should be on my
liked songs, E pro e pro. I'm gonna have to listen to that.

(08:52):
I haven't heard that yet. It'sa newer one, you said,
right, Okay, probably come upon my Spotify radio. I just probably
didn't notice, so uh so,uh see. My favorite is is is
Loser obviously too. But I likethe version that this group called The Cleverlies
did. We played it on theshow a while a while ago. It's

(09:13):
a cover country version. It's sogood though, it is so good.
Uh. So that that and thatone always. I'm gonna have to just
put a link to that one againtoo, because that is such a good
song. That group does not getenough love. The Cleverlies go find them
online. Uh. They do alot of the covers of songs you wouldn't
no diggity, you know, acouple of this so good. Uh.

(09:33):
But anyway, kind of let's up. Is there anything you've been watching lately
on TV? I know everybody, you know you've been staying at home and
you know, not really you know, you've been out and about, but
you know the kids had been youknow probably I think you said the kids
were a little you know, illlately, and you know the husband's going
through some stuff right now, andyou've been watching anything to stay busy.

(09:58):
Well, I have been watching alot of You Too and Age three podcasts,
which was on a break and cameback. We watched We're really late.
But what's I have some trouble rememberright now? It's mainly because I

(10:26):
spoke to much Wheat, which bythe way, I gotta I'm so jealous.
Look, if we can find away to mail them to you,
I got your back early. Iwill I just don't know how the finished
customs is. Yeah. I thinkthey are pretty Yeah, we might have

(10:48):
to send you a jar peanut butteror something like so. I couldn't remember
the word the name House of Ragon. Oh okay, that's the the the
Game of Thrones spin off, right, yeah, yeah, okay, yeah,

(11:11):
yeah, she's been watching that.I actually am gonna start watching today.
Season six of Cobra Kai came out. Thank god. Now me and
Eleanor can do our podcast and thatagain Combokai catching your local wherever you find
podcast. Uh so uh I getto finally sit down and watch the last
season, season six, and it'ssupposed to tie in to the all the

(11:35):
Karate Kid universes now, like they'rebringing in the Jackie Chan Karate Kid universe.
Like I didn't think that was evena thing, like to to be
in the same universe, but they'rebringing Jackie Chan and they're making a new
movie Karate Kid with Jackie Chan.Ralph Maccio freaking every I'm like, what

(11:56):
my my eight year old kid insideof me is go, you know what
I mean? Like, because youknow, I like Jackie Chan for what
he was an action star back inthe day, like I didn't care for
the Karadakey movie that he was inPeople Just to be you know, point
blank, and I voiced my opinionon that one numerous times on the show.
But Jackie, I'm so excited, you know, for Jackie Chan to

(12:20):
actually be a badass again, youknow, like a dude teaching you know,
martial arts. I love that hewas in the best role for that.
I'm not too excited about Jayden Smithbeing brought back into reprise his role,
but it is what it is.They got to make money somehow.
I can't hurt the kid. Ican't hate the kid for wanting to,
you know, forget work, youknow what I mean. Like, So
it's not it is what it is. Gonna hurt me a little bit for
watching it, but it is fine. I'm gonna watch it either way.

(12:43):
So, uh but I digress thatthat's a whole other show. You're gonna
listen to that soon. But it'sbeing other shows. Those are movie guys.
I'm sure you've seen it by now. A couple hundred people have watched
it, Thank you everybody. Uh. Me and Andre Gower watched The Tower
Inferno talked about it. His sisterwas in it a lot of big name

(13:05):
stars right to scare all them guys. Uh, but that's not we're here
today. We're talking random stuff today, and that was random, I guess.
So how is one hand on Techdoing? By the way, bestie
still still going, still doing it, still making videos. You guys getting

(13:28):
some good stuff in the mail, like everybody's sending you some good ship lately
the review or what do you guys? What's going on? Yeah? I
think so. The last video Iwas in was some lead led lights smart
Lights, smart Lights. But myhusband has been doing some other stuff too.

(13:50):
Oh and this mike I'm testing rightnow. Okay, what's what's the
brand? Raiser? Raiser? Muchtimes I remember anything because it sounds pretty
damn crystal clear, so that yeah, and it's small. Wait, let
me see if I can. It'sa bullet. I love it is,

(14:13):
thank you. It is Razor Sirenthe three Mini. Nice. That's awesome.
What are they? Good price?Good price range? Yeah? Yeah,
we wanted not the cheapest, butnot the most expensive, right mid
mid range qualites yes, and it'sreally kind of cheap anyway, so I

(14:39):
didn't cost that much. That isawesome. I'm all about testing out especially
microphones. I'm a mic feed likebecause you have me being the musician that
I was back in the day,Like I'm if I tested like so many
mics growing out, like going throughmy own phases, like from being in
the recording studios, uh, youknow, with their as you know,

(15:01):
condenser mics, and then being inthe radio station with basically uh, stage
mics. Honestly, that's all theyreally used. They didn't need anything fancy
in the radio because they have topop filters on. That's all they really
needed. Uh. And then youknow me being on stage using crappy,
shitty mics, you know, housemics that people have abused, and like

(15:22):
I I and then computer mics.I got three three USB computer mics,
and they ain't worth shit anymore, not a not a thing. Like you
plug them in. They they workedgreat at first, you know what I
mean, And then like a monthand you start hearing cracks pops, and
then it's like my fucking god,and then all of a sudden, they
don't work with your computer. Yourcomputer don't want to recognize them. Something's

(15:43):
going on. So I literally havea pile of three condenser mics and like
five other mics that I can't usebecause they sound like shit or they just
fucking you know what I mean.Like, and I've wasted so much money
on the Mikes over the years.I've wasted so much money to probably bought
a house with those with the whitemoney just for just as much Mike as
you know, and and oh god, yeah, me too, and I

(16:08):
have the best one. I usedto have watched wash Blue Yetty podcasting Mike,
Yeah, and it was great fora year or two, and then
I broke it. And then wehad in my studio we had I don't

(16:29):
remember what it was, but itwas really expensive and it had nice lighting
and everything, and it it neverwas I didn't want to use it.
Ever we had we were using onair products for a while and they were
al right. Originally they were goodfor what they were, and then,

(16:51):
like I said, a month ortwo later, you start getting the cracks
and then my interface don't work, you know what I mean, like,
and it's it's just I don't know. So I might try up that razor
that you get. You said,it's a good mid range price. It
sounds fucking awesome, So I'm gonnaend us just plugging in and it yeah,
I like that even better because rightnow I'm using a mixing board,

(17:14):
you know, my old you know, live mics that I used for playing
out and stuff like that, whichare great mics. The Radio Shack.
I don't know if you guys hada radio Shack over there, it's probably
not, but it was an electronicscompany here for throughout the seventies and eighties,
and they made their own ship forthe longest time, and it was
such high quality stuff that everybody wasbuying it up. And you know,

(17:34):
that's what they used back in thena lot. You know, they weren't
using shore or they weren't using it. It was all Radio Shack PROCs.
So I'm still using a Radio Shackmicrophone right now, and honestly, I
think it sounds all right. It'snot like it does, it's not like
horrible, but I just don't likethe whole interface I have to go through
to set everything up, you knowwhat I mean. Like, I'd rather

(17:56):
just plug it in and use it. So I'm gonna definitely try that razor.
Uh yeah, let you guys knowtoo what I think of it personally,
but I think right now it soundsfucking awesome, and right now I
think we're gonna do another song.Yes, Brass Against. This is a
rage against the machine cover band I'massuming yeah, they do cover from other

(18:17):
stuff, right right, yep, yeah, and the singer is amazing.
Yeah. So I listened to thisbefore we we got on here. This
is Killing in the Name covered byBrass Against. So you guys are gonna
le like it. I think,mm hmm. That was is good good
volume still, yes, all right, good, I'm glad this is working.

(18:41):
This is good. Yeah, I'mjust waiting what happens next. That's
something well I'm so like, no, just I'm playing it like, oh,
don't don't funk up, don't funkup, because I don't want to
try to share the screen because lasttime that does it it seemed to work
proper anymore. And I'm like,I got a mixer for a reason,

(19:02):
like I can put it on othertracks. I just know it's like sometimes
we had that problem where it wouldcut me out and you know what I
mean, music advice versa. Idon't know why that didn't, but it
seems to be working by now,so you know, other than its very
good now. And really I hadanother question. I wanted to ask what

(19:26):
made you? What made you pick? Uh? You know the list of
songs? You picked? It justrandom? You want to listen to music,
or you felt like in the woodto listen to these guys actually like,
uh, yeah, I know Ihad quite a random yeah. Uh.
These are all songs that I havelately or artists that I have legly

(19:51):
phone, and I have a liston my phone to some random shows.
So I was just waiting when youwere doing one of these. Again,
there are a couple of those.Let me see myself so here it is,

(20:14):
So this band I found found accidentally, you know, we were driving
somewhere and my husband has some randomship from spot if I just medal or
something, and this was on andI fell into the rabbit hole and searched

(20:37):
everything about them because I fucking lovedthis. And then Jack Harris one we
haven't played yet. That was fromTikTok my kind of music really, but
I had such a great opposession ofthat song for me. I was just

(21:00):
playing it. Maybe it's the words. It talks about the taboo taboo subject
of reading mental health medications and howyou can't talk about them in a negative
way, but some of them domake you kind of like a stombie or

(21:26):
robot when you can't feeling or Ihave experienced it, and I wish we
could talk about that too. Iwouldn't be here without medications. Medication because

(21:51):
it happened some of them aren't goodfor everyone at all, and well we
can't say that, we can.I'm all about talking about that. You
know, something helps. Yeah, people put a bad stick on drug a
lot of people, you know whatI mean, Because when you say some

(22:14):
some medication isn't good for me,people think, oh, no, one
can use any medication. Like theyvilified a plant for so long, and
then they vilified like medicines that werelegit helping people, and then just because
the people abuse them, and thenthey get you why you know they they're
like, oh, and I'm like, but if it's helping more people than

(22:40):
it's skirting, why are we condemningit and why? You know what I
mean? Like, I don't getthe ratch now you know some of these
people. I don't know it,but yeah, that's the point of that
song. And I have no ideahow. I just found it before it
came out, so I had ateaser and I was waiting for it to

(23:03):
come out. And then Vinnie marchIs from TikTok as well. Uh,
I chose a real song of his, but he has this he makes media
commentary music videos of just making funof al women or some clips he has

(23:32):
seen and it's so so check outcheck out Vinnie Marsh. Yeah, but
that song is one of the funnywas. I think it's March March Okay,
I was wondering. I'm like,I'm not sure either, Marching Marchie

(23:53):
March. I mark all right? That was? That was? That was
Killing in the Name by Brass Against. Uh. We're gonna keep the music
thing playing though in the background, just because you know, uh, I
like it. And uh, thisis Careful what You Wish For by Jack
Harris, the song that Hannah wasjust talking about. And again I listened

(24:14):
to the song, and you knowwhat, it's not my type of music
per se, but it's a goodsong. I can tell talent and I
can tell you know, good musicwhen I hear it's. It's not my
style particularly, but same, it'sit's very good for what it is.
The guy's a very talented artist.Actually, I was just looking young,

(24:36):
yeah, very very young, LikeI'm not sure how much they got put
out. Uh, but this thissong, if they if they got other
songs like this, they should dopretty well themselves. You have to TikTok
out, you know what I mean. Like, great, your followers are
one thing. You need money, you know what I mean, So that
sh it out. If you gotall that followers, they will buy your

(24:56):
CD or they will buy don't makeYou shuit available for three though I was.
I made that mistake a long timeago with a couple of catalogs and
songs that really did well. We'refree downloads and I'm like, oh,
we put them on an album.Album didn't so so they're like, well

(25:19):
we already got these songs. I'mlike, come on man, but no,
this guy, you know, veryvery talent. But I haven't listened
to anything else from him, right. I tried, but it wasn't really
for me. No, This thisonly song that that kind of country.

(25:45):
Yeah, all right, well Imight have to see if any more of
his catch but like I said, this listen just gotcha all the songs plays.
Put it the bio, it's whatit is. It will be up

(26:06):
up on Twitch as soon as thisis done. Uh. And then a
couple of days following that will beup on YouTube. So you guys,
can you know, watch that theaudio version unless you which which by the
way, I might just uh,if they do, I'll have to edit,
you know, just I'll put somekind of low noise to the music

(26:29):
in the background. That way theycan't say nothing, you know what I
mean, Like it's is that waythey can go I can't do. Usually
they only have a problem if youplay it like where people can stream it,
you know what I mean. It'skind of weird, like down it's
there's very gray areas when it comesto play music because I've seen websites going

(26:51):
to play like almost whole song, you know what I mean, and not
get tag and and luckily though theYouTube channel isn't monetized. I mean it
is monetized, but we don't reallymake a lot of money on it,
so we don't let me monetize it. So it is what it is.
I'm just having pro funded views people. I don't really I don't care.

(27:12):
The money part is really what I'mafter. So I kind of do this
just to keep busy, not goand see it. And I love love
talking to my best eat. Ilove talking to fucking you know everybody I
do shows with. And yes,and I think by the way, shout
out listen, Culter, good friendof the show country singers on tour should

(27:34):
come into Boston. She can comeinto New York. She's coming to all
the areas around here soon at theend of the summer. We have a
whole bunch of other people that Iknow, Coed and Cambria are coming and
they're doing the show here. Again, this guys bears quite a bit.

(27:57):
There's there's a whole bunch of goodshows going out in my area right now.
Where he's a good music fan.And you're in the New York area
upstate, Kicker, go check outlike Spack which is the Saratoga Performing Arts
You Pack which is the Ulser PerformingArt Center. Uh, you know,
we got all these different places thathave uh, you know, live music

(28:18):
and entertainment. In my area, particularly the Hutson Valley area of New Yorks
is a hot bit of music.Which is why I love growing up here
because it's so diverse. You know, there's a music you can go right
down the road and listen to acountry singer at the bar right then you

(28:40):
go down the street and you heara rapper and you got like a metal
guy up the road and like it'sso cool, like you whenever your case
stage, you're gonna find somebody thatplays music you know, or you know,
is DJ or something like that thatplays three don't know, how is
it over there in Finland? Youguys got like a could scene like that
over there? Well, I whatshould I say? In our capital city,

(29:10):
Helsinki, which plays in too faraway from us, there are some
geeks that actually are bigger, ButI don't know. Maybe heavy metal is
surprisingly in Fineland doing this thing, but then I haven't really checked in on

(29:36):
other speaking side. I'm mostly inheavy metals. Like what kind of you
guys have. I'm assuming you guyshave big venues, right, like a
couple of sam and stuff like that, you know what I mean? What's
the biggest band you guys have hadover there that you recall? Mhm,

(29:59):
Well, we have had, youknow, big bands, really big ones.
They almost any but they come hererarely and do one show and they
live they always sell yeah, asquickly as they can. All right,
guys, it's been nice. Igotta go, but I think we have

(30:22):
you know, just any big,big artists. They do come here one
big. Then David Bowie, jealousjelly, that was what a couple of
years ago, oh so many yearsago, ten years, ten years at

(30:48):
least fifteen twenty did he do allthe Yeah? I think so, and
I was so young, so yeahit was it was more on twenty years.
Oh my god, I am soold. Oh no. Oh,
by the way, people, thisis one of my picks. This is
a snarty nose reds kids. Ijust had to I'm letting him go,

(31:11):
and I just had to think aboutwhat I have to tell you. The
one before that was Poser by VinnyMartin. Definitely go check him out.
She was good. And if themusic as a genre wasn't for you,
it really isn't for me though, but that one song catched me for some

(31:34):
reason. And the funny videos hedoes they are awesome where he is singing
as an ill or some of thedurance about alpha dudes or alfa bro.
So I'm really gonna have to watchmore to go there. I should send

(31:56):
you a song. You should definitelysend you. So I've been like speaking
of like internet dudes that do likefunny music and stuff. There's this dude,
Rise Hendrix. I don't know ifanybody is seen. He's on the
Instagram and TikTok and he's he's arapper, but he does this stuff where
he's like the producer and then hedoes the other character who's like rapper or
singer, and the one guy thathe does is called real Gangster and he's

(32:17):
like none of his songs he takeslike the worst, like uh, Flight
of the bumble Bees will just saylike some like classical song or some song
like a girls just want to havefun, and he'll take the instrument and
he'll do like Gangster rapp over.He play with the style and he'll be
like real Gangster. Just Real Gangster'slistening to Cyny Love Yo, and he's

(32:37):
like he's like real Gangster and he'sdoes rapper over like some weird ship and
you see that his character is theproducer just looking at him like bruh.
And then like this, he doesthis other one where the lyrics don't match
the beat where he's like just sayingweird shit, just like you know,
just heard stuff like I got stoppedno it was coming out my butt.

(32:59):
I It's just just like I'll justsend you, I don't do it no
justice. I'm like, you know, a five year old kid just at
this point, like, yeah, you know, Oh that reminds me.

(33:22):
I will send you a link. But we found with my son, we
found this stude on TikTok that makesa I do country songs that make no
sense. They're so funny, they'reso great, and he just plays the
drums and leaves his ass off.Oh, I think I've seen that guy.

(33:46):
Yes, send me a linkolks.I want to be sure it's the
same person, but I think I'veseen it. It's the same that I'm
thinking up. Yeah, he's funnyas hell. I have to find out
again every every person that we mentioned. I'm gonna try to put a in
the bio just so you guys cancheck out who we're talking about. So
you got like, I haven't sleptso many nights that I keep forgetting everything.

(34:12):
It's so surprising that I'm here.I'm the state wave past the nights.
Girl, I know my dad readsthat time. Uh this is us
Stacy's Brown or Stacy Brown got toby shel Silver ste like the guy who
wrote the books where the Sidewalk Endsand uh light in the attic and all
them for kids. It's a verydirty man in your life. It's very,

(34:35):
very very that's fun. I'm goingto try to find Oh here he
is cleft drums. Oh, yes, yes, that is the dude is
a That stuff is hilarious. Ohthere's this other dude speaking of drummers.

(34:59):
Sorry, just b man, completelyrandom, but he's another does videos,
you see. I spend more timeon the Internet than I realized. Uh
So there's this guy and he's likehe's one of the best drummers I think,
like in the world, where he'llsit there and you'll do like,
uh, like these weird like superfast drum patterns and all this stuff,

(35:20):
like one handed. He's got thisreally long beard and he's got this backwards
hat on normally and you're just sitin the camera and you'll look at you
and then you play along the songsand like all his endgulously fills and stuff
he's played with like one hand likingthe drug stick. It's like going on
crazy and I'm like, what, this dude's amazing again. I'm gonna put
the Lincoln in. I can't rememberhis name either way, but he is

(35:43):
the best drummer in the world asfar as I'm gon sert, I'll yeah,
definitely. When I put the Lincolnthere, check that ship out.
This is a random Internet thing, okay, any more Internet people, you
want to talk about it? WhenI was Internet people about since this is
a random episode, we are talkingabout AI. We don't know that an

(36:06):
AI picture generator on my son's phoneand we have been playing with it and
platform and yesterday we noticed that AIdoesn't know the difference between cat food and
cat pool. That's a fact foryou. That is a big fact.

(36:31):
I would like to see that pictureif you guys have saved it. Oh,
I think I have. I mightshow it. Yes, I have
so many Oh Smith eating cat pool? There it is. That is hilarious.

(36:52):
Yeah, So my son has thisweird obsession with Will Smith. I
have, my dear. He's twelve. He hasn't seen any of his He
hasn't anything I want to hear abouthim when he slapp Chris Rock. Is
that probably he just thinks Will Smithlooks funny. He does. He looks

(37:13):
like a mister Potato with a big, old lanky bot. I've said that
my entire life. Building he looks. He looked like a big old walking
talking mister potato. I love thatman is a rat. I love Will
Smith's acting. Go you do?Oh Jesus. Three hands no, I

(37:37):
mean you know they got the shortnessand the orange color, right, So
I think I'm gonna call that oneaccurate. And that third hand is for
you know, reaching into people's pocketsand skill and ship. So that's that's
exactly what that's for. I thinkthey they're pretty accurate on that one.

(37:57):
And we have been making this highread animals. This is a cap and
awesome. Yeah, we love this, so that what's the program called?
Yes three lovely? I've been tryingto I was thinking of debating on whether
I've heard about it, so Iwas debating on whether it actually trying because

(38:21):
they had a free demo like achild thing on it three days yeah,
and I was like, this ispretty cool. This is pretty damn cool.
But you know that, I'm thinking, I'm like, I could make
some pretty fun up ship with this, So I'm not sure if I want
to pay for it because i've andwe are. So this song is called

(38:43):
Penicillin Penny by doctor People Bade, you know, doctor Hook. The funny
thing is they covered a lot ofsongs by the previous artists, Shel Silver
speaking. A lot of their songswere just straight up off of his.
They just took me and they didfor them, I guess because they did
a few times song they did. This song was I'm not sure if this

(39:04):
one was written by Shelzlers. Itwas definitely one of their bigger hits.
Uh, it's listen to Lyrics's prettydirty. These guys are pretty pretty dirty.
But they had some really big hits. I don't know if you ever
heard of doctor though before they Uh, they were big in the seventies and
eighties. If if you ever geta chance, start listening to some of
their music, like you'll you'll likeit, I think and uh my last

(39:29):
pick here, Uh, we're movinginto Shaka Khan Baby, I Love Ain't
Nobody from the eighties. This wason the one of my favorite movies,
Break Into Electric Boogaloo and Break Inthe original break In. Uh. I
have this thing for cheesy dance movies, and they were some of the cheesiest
in the eighties. See in theeighties, we had we had movies like

(39:52):
Breaking we had Uh, we hadBeach Street, we had Crushed Room,
we had a whole bunch of them, like just I don't know what.
I can't call them black supploitation movies. Really I can, really, but
I can't because they're not like asbad as like super Fly or uh,
you know, Shaft or anything likethat. But it was basically just taking

(40:14):
the black culture at the time andjust amplifying it and you know, putting
it on screen to try to showpeople. But I love this. The
breakdancing culture was was my thing.I loved it. I used to be
able to do stuff before I youknow, got fat home, and now
I can't. Uh I try tospin up my back and getting up,

(40:35):
you know what I mean, LikeI can't. If I'm gonna try that,
I'm gonna just die exactly with myback. But I have such a
love for the hip hop culture, for the original hip hop culture. Now
the rap music now I can't listento it. I can't listen to It's

(40:59):
garbage, straight up garbage. Eventhe garbage music back in the nineties in
the eighties, and's still good. Like that's that's the thing, Like
it may have been garbage, butit's still good. Now it's just garbage.
I can't listen to that I can'tdo it. I'm sorry, people,

(41:21):
right exactly, And then there's eightafter every other fucking word, I'm
like, yeah, bro, likecome on, I'm like where why are
the Fat Boys day? Why?Why? Why is run DMC? And
why can't they not be putting outlike I really, why are the Beastie
Boys old white guys now that don'twant to put out music? Like just

(41:43):
because I'm I get it, butbut the other two can still put out
sos not as the beast and Boys. They can put out music. Does
It's just like he's right, he'sgot to be I'm sure I think he
does both. Yeah, might popdown keeps it kind of down low.

(42:07):
Yeah, I see the Least Boys. I loved their punk stuff. A
lot of people didn't like their voice. Cookie Puss is like the hybrid drunk
and hip hop song and that wasa great instruction back when they had a
female drummer. But a lot ofpeople don't know that The Beast Boys,

(42:28):
you know, definitely had a femalein their group. Uh and she went
on like right before they signed withDeaf Jam Records. I think she left
the band and then they started yeahshe's on it, and then all their
other like like right, stuff likethat. So she literally left right before
they got there. I don't knowif that was by choice or the band

(42:50):
decision or I think I've reaped there, but I don't remember yeah anymore,
because I know they were on goodturns, Like they didn't break up because
they were, you know, shootingto each other. I think maybe they
were just going for that, youknow, just a straight up hip hop
style of its o I guess insteadof you know, band. Yeah.
I think they would have worked witha drummer like that. She would have

(43:12):
been awesome, you know, thefemale drummer that fuck. It would have
been totally fucking different than anybody else. Like, uh, I got a
I think it has something to doto do with it, you know,
going for hip hop. Yeah, rellant on it, so I can imagine

(43:35):
it maybe, you know, Imean, she could have been incorporated into
its side. You're right. Ithink it was more because it was just
straight hip hop, you know, and they maybe we just want the DJ
at the time, they didn't reallyhave to lie man. Yeah, which,
Oh, by the way, people, and this is shotgunning the body
it's carrying off now, so we'regonna start to wind down the show.

(44:00):
But the Beastie Boys, by theway, their original DJ was not mixed
Master Bikey. It was a guycalled DJ Hurricane and they also originally originally
jam Master J started out with DJingtheir live shows from run DMC because they
were on the same shows. Sojam Master J before DJ Hurricane got set

(44:22):
in as their official DJ, hewould be in there and he would be
DJing for him. It's a littlefactory there. People not invie. I
didn't know that. Yeah, Ididn't. I stumped the fact queen.
All right, yeah, I feelgood about myself now. All right,

(44:43):
all right, everybody, So we'regonna get this winding down now again.
Uh and I love hanging out withyou, girly best. This is awesome.
I'm glad everything went right today.Uh and uh, so we're gonna
say goodbye. We are going toplug stuff now, Hannah, is there
anything new that you need to talkabout? The only thing besides one hand

(45:08):
on tech is well, it's sinceFinnish, So I don't know. Me
and my friend are we have thisFinnish impro improvision that again? Right,
you keep doing it. We hadone year we didn't do anything because was

(45:28):
in the army. But now hisso it's it's kind of mandatory. In
Finland it was, Yeah, itwas here too for a long time.
They would do the draft and allthat stuff. Then they they labeled it
on constitutional to force people to fightfor a country. Yeah, but you

(45:51):
know what small countries. Yeah, you guys have to. I'm not against
it. I'm not against I amagainst forcing people against your will. But
if you're willing to do it,I'm not against it, you know what
I mean. And if family reallydon't want to do it, you can
do civil services. Well that's evenbetter than that. And that means they

(46:12):
don't force you to put civil serviceis fine, you know, but that
they give you an option, sothat's not really like a force. Then
that's good. No, they giveyou an but you have to take one,
pick one, right, So andyou said the civil service lasts long,
right? I think? So?Yeah. My both brothers were would
they do like where you do stuffin the post office? Stuff like that?

(46:35):
One of them was in in universitylibrary and the other one was,
what did the other one do?I want to be forced to be a
librarian. Give me like a coupleof years, but you get paid obviously.
I mean they're not going to beso right, so yeah, a
little bit. I mean you gota job from it since uh at the

(47:00):
time he was still studying, soit was really good for him. That's
awesome though, because that's that providesa skill quite frankly, you know what
I mean. And my my husbandwas teaching tick for was it the elderly
or immigrants, immigrants some people whodidn't really understand shit about what he was

(47:24):
trying to do. So I thinkit was funny. AFL. That's awesome
though. I think that's cool though, Like you know what, like at
least they're they're providing a service,you know what I mean. It's not
just like, oh, you're gonnago fight, you don't want to fight.
You're gonna teach somebody to do something. You're gonna help somebody. That's
why don't they do that here?Like honestly, our military would be as

(47:45):
garbage it is, right, Likethey'd have more people I think signing up
willingly like or if they gave hima choice, like all right, you
can either go fight or you cango do this, because I'm like I
would at that point consider it likelike ship, can I give me a
librarian for a couple. Fuck yeah, all right, I got you.
I don't have to see fucking I'llread a book every day. I will

(48:07):
fucking I will teach everybody. Iwill teach a literate people how to read
like I will love to do that. Like this, already, America,
get on this ship? What iswrong with us? Like fucking Filin's got
this ship down. They get vacations, they get fucking all this. What
is wrong with us? I can'tsay, I can't no, please speak

(48:28):
your mind either. This is ridiculous. Our country sucks. All right,
I'm gonna get out of here beforeI get in trouble. So uh all
right, hell, I love yourgirly Bessie's. Everybody will see you guys
next time? Uh? Where? And what should we do next time?
Before we get at it? What'syour I'm gonna let you pick it.

(48:52):
I I don't know. I reallylove this random show. You want to
do another random show? Yeah, let's do another random All right, everybody,
we're back to another random show.Salute, We're out of here.
