That's Hannah. I am mold. This is our holiday special.
Everything seems to be working out just great right now.
I'm an knock on wood for a year. It's going
going fine.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
For now. We have got a great show for you today.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
We gotta play some holiday music like we always do
this time of year, and Hannah and I are gonna.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Have some facts. I'm assuming she's got some some some facts.
Even if we repeat something from last year and year before,
we don't care.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
You guys are gonna remember anyway, everybody was two in
on the egg nog they get.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
I don't remember which facts I have told that you
can't remember, or I.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Can't remember any of them, so this is gonna be
new to me either way. This is great.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
So Hannah, for one, it has been such a long time.
How were your holidays so far?

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Oh? Well, it's actually a Finnish holiday today. It's our
independence day. Yes, so yay Finland, yay, Russia, Yes, yay Ukraine? Yes,
and yeah my grandpa who was fighting the war.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Oh definitely, yeah, your grandpa definitely.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
We uh we we we here have been going through
a bunch of bullshit ourselves. So I'm happy to celebrate
with you guys, because we have nothing here to celebrate
right now.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Yeah, kind of gloomy in there.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Yeah, but uh, I was like to everybody know that
we fully support Ukraine and uh Russia. Sorry, even though
our government seems to be heading towards the best friends
you know, in partnership with them, which is garbage anyway.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Just well, your govern meant also supports Israel.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Our government is garbaged.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
I'm so fucked.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Unfortunately, our government also has a habit of harboring Nazis
after we beat them too, so uh yeah, uh.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Glad to keep bringing the best over here to you know,
keep the party going. So other than that, let's let's
let's get past.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
That garbage in the world and let's uh let's talk
about that the holiday season.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
I love this time here, I really do, because it
gives me a chance to forget everything that's going on.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Uh you know what I mean, I'm so uh fucking
like sick of everything negative in the.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
World, and I just I'm looking for some positivity. And
you know what, Today's day, We're gonna do it.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
You and I are gonna We're gonna we're gonna discourse,
not on Discord because Discord sucks, it doesn't listen to
anything anyway.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
We're gonna discourse here.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
We're gonna talk, we're gonna play some facts, we're gonna
play some music, and uh hann and I are just
gonna generally have a good time because that's what we
do when we talk.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
To each other. And uh, you know, I I enjoy
it very much and breaks up my.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
Uh my time.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
So same here. And it's been a very long time
since our last episode, and I am kind of well,
I'm glad to inform you that this year has been different.
I had a lot of work, but I also had

(03:20):
a lot of health issues and my kids did too,
so I have been overwhelmed and not been able to
do this. But my health is getting better. I've seen
two doctors and they tell me everything is going to
be much better next year. And my kids are. They

(03:42):
seem happy and healthy now. And I love my editing job,
but it has been keeping me very busy.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
And that ends on January. Yeah, I'm going to have
to find something else. But in the meanwhile, I am
all up for recording every day man every day.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
I get it. Man, You're got to keep yourself busy,
you know.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
And I love this and I have missed this and you.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
I really have and honestly, well, actually tell everybody what
you were editing, by the way, if you can't.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Well, yeah, And it has been eighty years from the war.
There were many wars, but that was the Talvisa Winter War, which,
if I don't remember, all wrong led to our independence.
And so this podcast is not made by me. I

(04:47):
have recorded some and edited all and done some ambience music,
sound effects all of that, and pictures and photo editing
and almost yeah, and it's about not specifically our wars,

(05:11):
but heavily about our wars. There have been people who
have lost a parent in those words wars, or being
sent to Sweden as a child to be safe, or
lost their loved one, or just interviewing all these people

(05:35):
and our old journalistic writing teacher who writes work books
and does some excellent work bringing Ukraine's toughest places humanitarian aid.
He's the coolest guy and we get to interview him too,

(06:01):
and that was just amazing.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
That's great. Actually, I really I can't wait.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
To Like everybody knows that I'm not I'm not fluent
and finish, but I do try to listen to your stuff.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
And every now and then I'm picking up a couple
of words, and I'm very proud of myself when I reconize. So, uh,
I thank Hannah for that.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Actually, so thank you very much Hannah for you know, uh,
putting us stuff up and finish and making me go,
what the are you're talking about?

Speaker 1 (06:30):
I have to look this up now, I got I
gotta do this because I'm I'm.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Legit interested and I'm like every day I turn on
the internet and I'm like, I want to go to Finland.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Now, I really got to go visit Hannah moving the family.
I'm at my house. We're going to I'm the next
door to Hannah. Got find me a house. Okay, four bedrooms? Okay,
four bedrooms. We're gonna go, all right, three bedrooms in
a garage? Do that I can turn a garage?

Speaker 3 (06:56):
Yeah? Yeah, well that's what we have. Also, I think
if I can get a permission from the people who
ordered it the podcasting, I might be able to turn
them into videos with English titles. Yeahsh and English, because

(07:21):
some of the audience who are finished can't really hear
all the words. I would do that for free.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Actually you should talk to them because I would watch that.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
You really want to because again, like you said too,
like some of your guests vocals were.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
You know, kind of low and you couldn't really understand them,
which wasn't by any means your guys whatsoever. So people
have microphone voices.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Yeah, and some people are you know, ninety years old.
The oldest one, the widowed war widow we call them here,
she is one hundred and four years old. Whoa, there
were two war widows left in Finland and this was

(08:07):
the only one could still a given interview speak and
remember things. And that was probably her last interview.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Oh well then you guys got it. So that's that's history.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
It's a pressure.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Yeah wow, like yeah, because we we hear we a
lot of our older people, like I don't think we
have many in the hundreds at least that are pushing
hundreds here, you know what I mean. Like, we do
have a couple like one hundred and two. You know,
I believe one just passed away, you know, our.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Oldest woman, Yeah, your oldest one.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Yeah, and that makes you freaking think too, because you
know she at that point, she was around in you know, nineteen,
you know, twenties and like that. That is crazy to
think that, you know, at that point too, like women
still didn't have rights. African Americans didn't have rights, you
know what I mean, Like anybody of color really didn't

(09:06):
have a right here.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
In this country.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
And it just makes you think that like time goes
by really like I can't really like it goes by fast,
but it develops slowly.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
That kind of you know what I mean, Like you
know what I mean, Like you figure we would have.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Had all that stuff a long time ago, but we're
still fighting for in this country, which is by the way,
I know I said I wasn't gonna but this is
I gotta speak on this real quick, because we are slowly.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
Losing every bit of rights and.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Freedoms that we have gotten in this country over the
past eighty years what we'll call it eighty years, you
know what I mean, Like, and it's regressing back to
a time when I don't really care for it, you
know what I mean. Like they're they're trying to say, whoa,
let's make America a great again, And I'm like, when
exactly this time period, if you can.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Please weak me after this wherever it was great for everybody,
I would love to know, because honestly, the past eighty years.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Is not looking good and now we're going back to
that and really starting to bother me.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
And I'm sorry, no, no, no, I was wondering. You know,
I've been, of course, watching all of this happen very
closely and listening to different streamers, for political streamers over there,
Hassan Piker, Ethan Klent, who isn't really I mean, he's

(10:39):
said some shitty things. I don't know if I can
support him anywhere anymore, even though I would like to
because he's funny as fuck. But turns out Trump got
all the women on board, all the Mexicans on board,
and all the Arabs he hates.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Sure, we're going through this thing where we have massive
election fraud, like you could there is there's there's proof
of it, but they're.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Not checking into it.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
Like this is what kind of scares me, is like
they're just letting it happen both sides, Like they're saying
stuff like, oh it's you know, we can't let this happen,
but you're still letting it happen. You know, all these
people fucking Elon Musk and the stupid assholes they got
coming in that he's giving high positions of power when

(11:40):
he comes in, are already talking about let's cut some security,
let's cut freaking medicaid. Medicare everything that helps older people,
people with disabilities, and younger people that can't afford anything. Right,
So my problem with that is when they come in
and cut it, what are they going to replace it with?

Speaker 1 (12:00):
What are these people gonna have nothing? You know why?

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Because apartheid Clyde Sorry, Elon Musk, he uh likes to.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
You know, preach that he's an American Now I'm doing
what best for America.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
You know what, did you hear him chanting USA USA?

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Yeah? It made me sick. I threw up in my
mouth a little bit.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
He he like, it just makes me sick that he's
like gonna have any kind of say over us whatsoever
in this in this It just it really makes me sick.
I can't see how we're literally going towards a dictatorship
and they're.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
Just letting it happen.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Like, are they gonna give like the people, uh, you know,
with medicaiding anything anything to supplement that. No they're not
you know what they're they're hoping for that everybody that's
not rich and white basically dies out or leaves, and.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
Then they can have complete control over everything.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
God damn, if I still didn't owe like two hundred
grand on my house, I would still be moving tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
We're gonna make that happen.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Man, We're gonna. We're gonna. So let's stop talking about
this down a crap. Let's get to some good Christmas music.
I'm gonna start it off with a pick.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
That hand a pick, it's called the Elf, and give
us a little backstory.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
On this real quick.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Yes. So, Raskastaol, which means Heavy Christmas is the collaboration
of rock and rolland heavy metal musicians and every year
they have gigs and albums making their own versions covering

(13:52):
our Christmas songs. And last year I played you the
Elf and that tells a story about the elf who
can't sleep, which is very Finnish, but I love that song.
So it's also in this title Rock No Rock Jewel Tide.

(14:16):
I'm not sure if they are going to do it
in Finnish English or Swedish, but I just yeah, I
just heard a little bit before I knew I had
to take it, so let's find out.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Hey, let's let's let's find out. Let's see the elf.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
By Rasta. It's under a guy on YouTube guy NA.
For me was that it turned up a little bit.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
Yeah, it's perfect. Yeah, I can still hear you too,
English English. That's cool, now you can.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
I can understand it that I thought I was finish.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
There will be other frescast journey.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
This is cool. I like the cover.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
You can only eighty four likes yea. Oh it's a
bit different else than Christmas Elf. I like this one.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
I think they took Lord of the Rings there for
a second.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
Yeah it's legs, Yeah, it's leg.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
Yeah, okay, Lord of the Rings rem like.

Speaker 3 (15:45):
This is cooler than Yeah, I kind.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Of like it.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
By the way, I'm gonna put links to all these
videos and the songs, so you guys.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
Yeah, I'm not talking about because.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
The video version actually might have the videos in your
last Let you guys know, if you're listening on you.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
Know, iHeart or Spotify or anything like that, YouTube channel
will have the video version of so and the twitch.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
Channel can actually be on Twitch first and then we'll
be onto it's the way I've been working it lately.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
I've been uploading the twitch and then just transferring it
over to YouTube. Seem to get us more views that way,
and it's weird.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
Then we should start, you know, recording on stream, you know,
just streaming again and then yeah, I'm all about that.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Yeah, definitely, And uh you know, yeah, I wonder if
we can do that on twitch, right, be sure we can?
We can? Yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
I used to stream a little lips. It was horrible
for content twice. But I have everything it needs so
set up.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
So okay, good because me and the boys that video games. Yeah,
you know, so I didn't know how it works.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
I've been watching you don't ever ever read that chat
that I have always said, ayam here, Oh.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
Yeah, it's we get so into it. I don't even
think about checket sometimes.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
I love that.

Speaker 5 (17:16):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Yeah, the boys, you know, you've been trying to keep
everything themes.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
So I think we're gonna be playing a couple of
Christmas games coming up soon. There's a few, like there's
a Santa Claus Games a science school where there's a.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
There's an actually official license Food off the Red Nose
Reindier game. Me it's basically a bunch of mini games,
but you know it's it's fun either way.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
I think we're gonna try to play.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
It now, and uh, it's kind of like a Mario
Party type deal, but I think, yeah, we're gonna try
a bunch of those type of games.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
There's a game Knights. Have you ever played that? Knights
in Dreams? For this little gesture guy flying around play
dreams and stuff? Was it over like Sega game? I think?

Speaker 2 (18:06):
But there's a Christmas DLC which turns all the backgrounds
at your guy Christmas scene.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
It does all the sudden side try to play that
sing does we ships and.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
Giggles and if we if we learn how to do that,
I could joined, So I would just be a commentator,
but it would play fun there.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
There's actually another program too that you can integrate with
Twitch for online sharing screen gaming.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
So you can like play your into like two player
games and take over again. So I'll have to get that.
We'll see how that works. I would love to play
you guys on there, yea, because.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
I've tried some things and like the the Xbox. If
you don't have like know Xbox library, Xbox is really
that fund they don't have that many games, and I
like playing the big first person shooting like like I'm
not that big of my person that I like.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
You know, I'd rather like be able to share like
two player like old school Nintendo or some Pintendo games
and somebody play like that. Those are my favorite games,
or share the screen on a point clipping victory game,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
Like Monkey Island, Oh that's my favorite.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Monkey Allen is my favorite. I love it. And I'm
the Salmon Max guy like he's played. It wasn't one.
I just got to playing the Feeble Pots. I don't
know if you've ever heard of it.

Speaker 4 (19:37):
It's an older game, but you play this alien guy
and like his whole thing is to try to not
be noticed by the He's got.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
To try to blend in with people like his aliens
because it works.

Speaker 6 (19:51):
For like an.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
Alien galactic like forest or something like that, kind of
like Star Trek type hit. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
I love Star Trek also, so oh.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
Me too, I am a big Star Trek. That was Okay,
that was the Elf.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
Ragnark Jewel Tide, Julia.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
I forgot that.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Too much for your favorite Hey commercials, yes we are commercials, okay.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
So just for the for the twitch thing, if you
can connect consoles to it somehow. I have all the consoles.
I mean, my husband has all the consoles, but I
I can try that too. But we can talk about
that some other time.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Let's see, I am going to put on We're gonna
go one more song here, and I'm gonna I'm actually
it's gonna be another hand of picked.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
This is a jingle bells and I like, whoop, you
spell it right? Damn fingers. They don't want to work,
all right.

Speaker 6 (21:16):
Said jingle bells. Ah, all right, just cook set jingle bells.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
It's a I like it.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
Oh no, it's mamba. He didn't know that.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
I hate.

Speaker 7 (21:42):
It.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
It kind of sounds like kind.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
Of like one of those throwback man's like real big.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
Fish, you know, somebody plays Scott big Man, Booby Daddy
or whatever they they were.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Yeah, that's what it sounds like. I kind of think
Brian sets.

Speaker 3 (22:07):
Yeah, this song is okay, but mamba, asked the band,
and it's corny. I can't women. Oh but this is

(22:30):
all right, This is this is good. It's mamba, so
I guess it's all right right.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
It definitely sounds like a straight cats like Bryan.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
Secret seer orchestra type song.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
I like practice Town, you know, and stuff like that,
which I did rockabilly basically.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
And I actually one song I amply didn't my list.

Speaker 8 (22:59):
Sure, uh, you know walking on Walking in the Air
from the snow Man movie.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
Snow Man TV. But it's the heavy metal version.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
Which.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
I like.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
That is it? Also? I think it is?

Speaker 1 (23:32):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (23:36):
So the snow Man animation comes on TV every Christmas,
even in Finland. It is right before Finland reads the
piece paper that everyone must be peaceful and all that?

(23:59):
Is this the RAS version?

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Sure I will, I'm gonna look on it real quick, sus.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
Yeah, that looks just like a think from the animation itself.

Speaker 3 (24:15):
Yeah, I don't think this is it. The real one
always makes me cry because I have seen it since
baby every year and I won't skip a year no
matter what. But the heavy metal version of that is
really cool, but I'm not sure if I know where

(24:35):
to find it. Let me see him on my phone.
Should have been should have done this earlier, but you know,
I just shaping fourteen hours.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
This is the show, This is what we do.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
This is the Google Talk minute.

Speaker 9 (24:54):
Walking in the Discus, Oh Daria.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
Let's let's see there's several Oh wait, can you see
the snow it's t a r Yeah, first one, I said,

(25:31):
the old I think it's the one. Yes, it might
not be a heavy Yeah, let's try that one. Daria
was the singer and night Wish for a very long time.
She sings opera, but the other part of the band

(25:54):
is heavy metal. So I'm not sure if this is
the heavy metal version or just opera. But I love
Daria Turman anyway, so this.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
One might be the opera version.

Speaker 3 (26:06):
Yeah. I love this so much. And her voice is amazing.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
M hm.

Speaker 3 (26:20):
Yeah, definitely not the heavy version, heavy metal version, but
I don't care even I love Daria.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
Oh yeah, she's got a nice voice. That's pretty.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
She used to be an opera singer and then she
joined the night Wish, which is.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
Heavy that it sounds like Pat Benattar Pat Benatar started
off as singing opera and then she started singing rock
and roll and she has that you know that that voice,
like you can they lend themselves to metal and like,
you know, hard rock, like could you get that?

Speaker 10 (27:01):
Folks?

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Yeah, it sounds good.

Speaker 3 (27:04):
Oh and also, what's the name of the guys? Guy
system of a down singer.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
Yeah, Seargia Thinking or whatever his name is.

Speaker 8 (27:22):
Something search.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
I just call him Search.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
Yep.

Speaker 7 (27:32):
So this is I like this, This is pretty so
uh Hannah, what do you guys got uh?

Speaker 2 (27:42):
You know playing for the Christmas season here.

Speaker 3 (27:49):
We're gonna go to my mother in law's place one
for one night just before Christmas and try to see
my parents also as much as possible, and maybe me
my siblings and their kids there too. But now I

(28:15):
think we're all happy when we get to have our
own Christmas Eve and Christmas days just the family, right,
you know.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
Nowadays it's it seems that way. You know, it seems
a way to go. Like I remember back when I
was growing up, we would always have you know, big
family get togethers, and my grand that was alive and
everybody would meet up Christmas Eve night and you know
we'd sleep over and then everybody would.

Speaker 1 (28:40):
Wake up Christmas.

Speaker 3 (28:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
And then there was sometimes where we'd stay home do
workday Christmas win and then we went out.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
For Christmas dinner. Yeah, you know, hung out with everybody.
This year, though, it's it's literally just we're gonna be
doing the same. We're gonna be hanging out home, you know.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
And just doing what we do because we got everything
that graded now and this is this is one of
the first years where the kids.

Speaker 1 (29:03):
Are always grown up, you know what I mean. So
it's like they bought they know what we got them
for Christmas, you know what I mean. So the surprise
is kind of going. But they're all like they're excited
either way, because.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
They're like, oh, we getting all this stuff now anyway,
and uh, we we end up getting them.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Uh, they're gonna hear the sad, So that's not good.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
They got everything they wanted this year, were so even
some extra stuff.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
I managed to whirl away somebody and got some stuff
from Sara and Claus and you know what I'm saying,
They're they're gonna they're gonna be like, uh, where did
this come from? Like, yeah, we dropped it off.

Speaker 4 (29:45):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (29:45):
The old lady's gonna be happy too, because she got you.
She don't be happy. I keep quieting on it. She
don't listen to the show anyways. It takes too long.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Oh by the way, m hm, Santa Uh is giving
you a message that the shipment will be here.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
It is shipped now.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
So depending on whether it be here by the fourteenth
or it's still it comes early.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
I will let you know and we'll work with that.
Because oh they got they got some extra stop you,
they got some extras.

Speaker 3 (30:26):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (30:28):
I was like, oh they you know what, they're still bill,
I'm gonna get them and it's gonna hate me. They're
gonna be able to shut it down.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
No, that's perfectly fine. They will be so excited. And
once they knew that we were cooking something up, not
knowing exactly what except for you on as was very
you know on point what it wants. But there they
kind of forgot about all the other presents they have

(31:00):
been asking for, which is great because it means more
surprises on the day.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
Great. I love it when it works out like that,
especially when.

Speaker 2 (31:11):
You know the Santa Claus thing, or they know that
he's not.

Speaker 3 (31:16):
There, they know that he's not real, but they still
are excited. And all the traditions which I have wanted
to keep within our family, not everything with it when

(31:39):
I was a little one, as I've still many times
my mother stressed so much that I was kind of scared.
And then having all the family, me, my siblings, all
of our spouses, all of our kids, there are seven

(32:01):
seven cousins. I used to wonder why was I so
anxious all the time, But lately I've found out that
I have ADHD and everyone talking at the same time.
That drives me in sake.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
Yeah, they were the ones that had to wear the
earphones during.

Speaker 3 (32:29):
Keep mine too both. I think, so now that I
know why, I have a very good reason to say no,
We'll see all of you in small groups just a
little bit of time, and then we get to go
home and open the presents. And the food is not

(32:53):
all transition traditions, but everyone has something they love on
the table. That's enough. And I will not take any
stress about Christmas.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
Good because you are the woman of the house and
you do not need stressed out over that crap. See,
we're doing non traditional this year too. We're gonna have
lasagna for we haven't had that. Yeah, usually we do
like roast beef, you know, mashed potatoes and normal stuff,
you know what I mean, Maybe I have, but I'm like,
I'm feeling lazagnan. So we're having lazagna this year, and

(33:25):
I'm gonna get the whole she bang, lasagna, garlic, bread, all.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
That good stuff. I'm going to town. I'm gonna enjoy myself.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
Yeah, So, Hannah, do we have any facts to split
this music thing up here?

Speaker 3 (33:40):
Yes? Oh awesome, let me just buy them.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
Because once you're done with that, we are going to
play a couple more songs and then.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
Hyeah, finish up this. We've been actually going pretty good
so far. That's not a badmount of pretty fast.

Speaker 3 (34:08):
Yeah, because I've been babbling.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
That's great.

Speaker 3 (34:15):
Usually I'm just yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:19):
That's good. See what happens when we don't have leg
shows every week? We have more to talk about.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
Apparently that's true. Okay. The first Christmas facts, which I
hope I haven't told any.

Speaker 1 (34:33):
Other again, they're not going to remember.

Speaker 3 (34:38):
Drink drink up people, so I can use this one
next year. The first artificial Christmas trees were made of
dyed goose feathers.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
Goose feathers.

Speaker 3 (34:54):
That sounds beautiful.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
Actually, actually no, it does sound like i'muring.

Speaker 3 (34:59):
It now in the countries that serve goose roast in
at Christmas, so why not? But yeah, turkey feathers. I'm
not sure what it would look like. And we traditionally
finished it ham so big air no, okay. The nineteenth

(35:27):
century Germany people we made artificial trees using goose feathers
dyed green. They were the original ego friendly option. I
love that. Actually, Oh just a second. The cat is somewhere,

(35:51):
but you yeah, he loves to.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
No on my.

Speaker 3 (36:00):
Come say hi, cool, se hi, my baby boy.

Speaker 2 (36:06):
I'd bring my puppies down, but they like the peon
stuff that they're not supposed to, so.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
I'm not gonna do it.

Speaker 3 (36:13):
No, that's enough.

Speaker 1 (36:16):
That I got my fifteen seconds.

Speaker 3 (36:24):
Upside Down Christmas trees were once popular. Come ahead, upside hi, Hi, great, great.

Speaker 1 (36:38):
Great, awesome. That's good to hear.

Speaker 3 (36:40):
Man hm hmm. Yeah. Upside down Christmas trees were once popular.
Medieval Europeans hung Christmas trees upside down from their ceilings.
Why represent the holy tree or save floor space for people?

(37:06):
Do that still because they don't want their animals, mostly cats.
I think to fall.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
That does make sense to an extent, that really does.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
Mhmm.

Speaker 3 (37:22):
It was I think last year I saw a lot
of pictures in the internet on the internet butt, uh huh,
you can't make this one fall, and then a cat
was just hanging on the tree. They can get it anywhere.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
Oh yeah, that's half the reason why we don't have
a carry because to do that stuff up.

Speaker 3 (37:48):
Kids don't care about the Christmas tree. They just sleep
underneath it.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
And our dogs are free of the flashing lights, so
we can't have them flashing, so they have they lay
underneath it just fine, like when it's on.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
But when they start to blink. My one dog, she
goes a crap. She hides and she's.

Speaker 4 (38:10):
Like, I'm like, I don't.

Speaker 1 (38:14):
Like. I mean, yeah, she's she's my little girl.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
Though she's a she's disabled, she's got she looks like
a bulldog in the front, which she's.

Speaker 1 (38:22):
Not a bulldog, you know what I mean. So her
legs are kind of like and she's a little little
bit little girl, but she thinks she's.

Speaker 2 (38:28):
Like seven feet all and like she thinks she's a
big ass passing hawn And she she beats up my
poor Cohen, My my my damn husky.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
She beats him up. He's twice the size of her
and she beats him up.

Speaker 3 (38:41):
But I think small dogs often think they are bigger.

Speaker 2 (38:46):
Oh yeah, she's got a Napoleon complex. So let me uh,
I'm gonna play another song here real quick, and then
we'll get to more stuff.

Speaker 1 (38:59):
This is this is my favorite. I've probably played it.
I'm gonna play it again. Uh it's the heat Miser
snow Miser song from here without a Santa Claus. Yeah.
This this is my favorite.

Speaker 2 (39:12):
Yeah, okay commercials Yeah, I don't know darn YouTube and
I'm not paying for it, so we're not doing it.

Speaker 1 (39:25):
I'm white Christmas, I remember.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
This is literally my favorite Christmas movie What Happened?

Speaker 1 (39:38):
Just for this song, Just for this song. It'll be
up on my website.

Speaker 2 (39:42):
By the way, everybody, if you're listening www dot digital,
z on ant dot com.

Speaker 1 (39:48):
We have every night I'm putting up in movies. You
can watch a movie. I can watch old TV.

Speaker 2 (39:53):
Specially to watch music videos wherever a side can that
you can watch some undergrad hidden section of just going
to the Facebook group page Rowland Friends get random I
posted every day to day is.

Speaker 1 (40:09):
The Monsters Christmas, which is a nineteen TV special British
I think it was BBC special Actually tell the truth.

Speaker 2 (40:23):
About coop of It's based on an old story book
about a group of monsters lost their singing voices, a
witch stole it and h this little girl they need
to help them, to help them this little girl to
help get them back, and it's it's such a cute
little story like movie. But that's up there right now

(40:44):
if you if you want to watch it, it's gonna
be able to get it for a fete tonight. I think,
as you know, maybe Hannah and her kids want to
sit down and watch it and a good little movie.

Speaker 1 (40:53):
I think I think tunis in uh uh, that's right.
I'm sorry. I had a brave heart, I know it.
So yeah, I think they would like they have. They
have a hard time with English though, right, not so.

Speaker 3 (41:10):
Much anymore, even if speaks English almost O that speaks
with her friends they all speak English to it all right,
So I don't know why. Maybe because they play roblocks
together all the same server and most people in there

(41:33):
are not from Finland. Stories. That's the way I have
to learn.

Speaker 1 (41:37):
That's very true. Actually, yeah, that's great though, So then
they might actually enjoy because people understand something. That's good.

Speaker 2 (41:46):
I always worry about putting movies up and then having
you and your kids watching, like if they're gonna understand.

Speaker 1 (41:52):
Any of this, fuck it anyway?

Speaker 10 (41:58):
Why second, yes, we talked about the problem.

Speaker 11 (42:13):
I had to say. I think that's the most most
people are speaking rough.

Speaker 1 (42:24):
English. Okay, yeah, my daughter Leonora. You guys understand what
a lot of.

Speaker 3 (42:37):
Them say to Do you understand what they say martial arts? No, no,
but you understand English as Swedish and Finish. Okay that
Swedish English and Finnish. Yeah, thanks, Honny.

Speaker 1 (42:51):
Yeah, that's awesome.

Speaker 3 (42:54):
Feel try to jump in whenever you have something to say,
open for you know, trust me. Yeah, stay here, that's fine.
Do you want to be on camera.

Speaker 1 (43:06):
You can be on camera. You can do whatever you want.
Just hang out.

Speaker 3 (43:10):
I think if we're going to do this again, I
have to find the thing that makes it so we
can move here. It has split the headphones, thank you.
I knew that, but I'm and I just walk.

Speaker 1 (43:30):
You can talk about things that.

Speaker 3 (43:32):
You and I will tell you what Marshall says. Uncle mare.

Speaker 1 (43:40):
I also want that.

Speaker 11 (43:44):
When there's something that is something that is interesting, uh, you.

Speaker 3 (43:49):
Know, then you'll jump in. Okay, that's perfectly fine.

Speaker 1 (43:54):
That sounds that's awesome. In the future.

Speaker 3 (44:00):
He does have a.

Speaker 1 (44:03):
Did stream a lot due did you stream it all?

Speaker 3 (44:05):
Or does he He doesn't really stream because we have
been really careful about putting these to on the internet.
Which is why our ghost hunting video Wait a second, honey,
our ghosting video ghost hunting video with Emma, I didn't

(44:26):
really show her face, not much, but Emma does want
a YouTube gamer channel where her face wouldn't show, but
she would tell what she's doing.

Speaker 1 (44:38):
You could also just have a little avatar, like a
little drawing.

Speaker 3 (44:42):
Or an avatar. Yeah, I'm not I'm not sure if
I know how to, but if you'll help me, I
would definitely.

Speaker 1 (44:51):
I can definitely help the kids.

Speaker 2 (44:53):
And I have a couple that we're going to start
using for you know, the streaming, because Loki likes to
be on the camera. But he's, uh, he has this
idea of our uh animated versions. Like if we're starting
off a game where I'm playing, and then like he'll
pick it right, and then halfway through I'll be done,

(45:13):
and then I'll pick him a surprise.

Speaker 1 (45:15):
Game that he has to go play.

Speaker 2 (45:17):
But he doesn't want it to be like the surprise
part where he's on He wants to like where he
like snaps his fingers and he goes into like an
animated version of himself playing the game. Yeah, so I'm like,
this kid's got some really good ideas and I'm gonna try.

Speaker 1 (45:29):
To implement them. So I think we're gonna I think
we're gonna do that.

Speaker 2 (45:34):
So I can help you out though with all that
and make it professional as they want to do it
and trust me.

Speaker 1 (45:41):
And they.

Speaker 3 (45:43):
Did you have something, honey?

Speaker 11 (45:45):
Yes, I remember one time that we went to the
to my dad owns a channel called one Tech on Hand,
One on Tech, Yes, And in that one video we
went to an arena where there was a different devices, keyboards, tablets,

(46:07):
all kind of broken things.

Speaker 3 (46:09):
And we smashed them. Yes, I was in the background.
I didn't want to. One time I was with them
as was very funny.

Speaker 9 (46:18):
We had to.

Speaker 3 (46:19):
We had to visit a.

Speaker 11 (46:21):
Memorial twenty twenty three and.

Speaker 3 (46:23):
So one year it was on this channel. Yeah, and
you were my little monsters with you.

Speaker 1 (46:28):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (46:28):
I remember. Then my little sister Emma, she's nine, took
my hoodye, no, your Bennie.

Speaker 1 (46:40):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (46:41):
And he took it while I was She took it while.

Speaker 12 (46:45):
I was running away, running running away. Then then he
ran away and show me showed stop going from the
traffic that.

Speaker 3 (46:55):
Yeah, don't run into the traffic.

Speaker 1 (46:59):
Yes, yeah, that.

Speaker 2 (47:07):
I'm actually kind of glad that you guys, you know
are into you know, this stuff together because you know,
like me and my kids do this together to just
so we have something, you know what I mean, Like, yeah,
I do. I enjoy the little videos you guys, and
you love them, Junas. I hope you're going to help
your mother this time. She's got to read a story
for me for the website, and uh, you know, I

(47:30):
would really like you guys to be involved with it
if you can, so that would be awesome, you know, yeah,
if she wants to work something out where you guys
can maybe read some lines or do something or it'd
be great.

Speaker 1 (47:43):
Yeah, So that love you guys.

Speaker 3 (47:45):
I know Emma will at list aonas might minute a
minute to think, but I hope he does want to
do that too. It's it's so cool, honesty, honestly right
now when honest is twelve, such a big guy already,
and he has the same special interests as me. So

(48:08):
I used to have no one to talk about Internet trauma,
mister beast canceling all that and he and launch all
of that. I knew no one who would be interested
in that. And one day he just you just started

(48:28):
talking about that, and I was like, yes, finally I
want to talk.

Speaker 12 (48:35):
And also the thing that I was interested in politics
trauma if you kind of bad kind, and I don't
understand those Americans.

Speaker 1 (48:49):
Yeah, American, and I don't understand.

Speaker 3 (48:55):
And also the Israel trauma.

Speaker 12 (48:57):
Why everybody, I don't know, why every love Israel when
they're trying to invade Palestine?

Speaker 1 (49:04):
Yeah, correct, I don't either. See, you've got a very
good head on his shoulders there, very smart, very much too,
very smart cookie. And I.

Speaker 3 (49:18):
One more thing. I am the Queen of facts. He
is the prince of facts. He tells me facts I
have not heard before.

Speaker 1 (49:27):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (49:28):
See that is so.

Speaker 1 (49:30):
That's amazing because your mother schools me all the time. Yeah.
So basically means you're smarter than me. Okay, so there
you go, like that's something you should you.

Speaker 3 (49:43):
Think it's about that.

Speaker 11 (49:45):
I have heard that many Americans say that English is hard,
even though they speak English.

Speaker 3 (49:51):
I remember when.

Speaker 12 (49:52):
I was in fourth grade, I was ten years old, John,
by which i'm right now, and that's great.

Speaker 3 (50:03):
There was a test English test which was hard here hard,
ye right, and.

Speaker 11 (50:15):
I got sixty close in that I got everything everything correct.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
Because most kids around here fail English. Okay, so you're
you're doing good. Yes, from internet were very very.

Speaker 2 (50:39):
I don't want to say dumb kids, but we got
some very dumb parents that don't teach their kids that.

Speaker 3 (50:47):
I don't teach him, he teaches me. Would you honest
like to read the next Christmas fact? Yeah? Plays six
Catalonia's pooping, the Lonely of pooping, look tradition two point story.
You don't need to read the stars.

Speaker 11 (51:09):
In parts of Spain, children care for logs called the
o Day not all.

Speaker 3 (51:15):
They don't feed it, they do feed it. They feed it.
They are leading up Christmas.

Speaker 11 (51:23):
They whack it with sticks to make it, to make
it poop presence.

Speaker 1 (51:32):
To make a present.

Speaker 3 (51:35):
You are perfect.

Speaker 1 (51:37):
That's good, very good. That was good. They wacked with
sticks to make that is amazing. I thought we had
some mess up traditions, but that's that's awesome.

Speaker 3 (51:55):
Yes, the Spanish poop and and the Germans who hang
up pickles to the three they hang up. I did
I toold that some years ago.

Speaker 1 (52:14):
I don't remember now like.

Speaker 3 (52:18):
Them used me neither. It was some good luck thing
or something. But nowadays they they mostly used glass pickles,
so not real stink pickles. Wow, I'm going to I'm
going to take my phone to Georgia. Okay, to do that.

(52:38):
This is gonna be three hours long.

Speaker 1 (52:42):
It's all right. I'm gonna play one more song.

Speaker 2 (52:44):
We're gonna keep going here, mister, this one's called Senior
Santa Claus.

Speaker 1 (52:50):
It is by mister Jim Reid. Uh, it's it's it's
Jim Reeves. I'm sorry. He's a country singer. Jim Reeves
is a different So this is a Senior Santa Claus.
I'll get back there to the beginning. Thank you. All right.

Speaker 3 (53:06):
Oh it's a tiny bit too loud, just a little bit,
so I can hear you better.

Speaker 1 (53:12):
Here we go here.

Speaker 3 (53:14):
Yeah, good, all right, it's good and I hear you
much better.

Speaker 1 (53:19):
Now come here. I am hi, Hi, how are you? Christmas?
Don't really good? Last Christmas? She looks just like you.

(53:46):
You literally just.

Speaker 3 (53:49):
Oh, thank you. She is a mini me. She's just
like I was when I was a little girl. That's
room for ouse of you.

Speaker 1 (54:02):
Shoot, we're the Marriers family things.

Speaker 3 (54:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (54:08):
So actually I have a question.

Speaker 2 (54:10):
Cool, Uh, what's your guys' favorite thing about Christmas?

Speaker 1 (54:19):
Gifts are gifts, of course, obviously the gift.

Speaker 11 (54:23):
It's probably Christmas caviar.

Speaker 3 (54:31):
Care christ.

Speaker 1 (54:38):
There are calendar.

Speaker 3 (54:40):
Even though it's the lasts last last, okay, on the
last day on the calendar.

Speaker 1 (54:52):
Yeah, and because its.

Speaker 11 (54:54):
Stargory think and they're always it's.

Speaker 2 (55:03):
Also, yeah, I know that the food is always a
good thing and gifts are always a plus, and.

Speaker 7 (55:14):
My kids always look forward to the food at the
end of the They love the kids.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
They're like ten minutes after they open them, they're like,
you know, okay, we're born again.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
Oh so it's like.

Speaker 3 (55:24):
Yeah, hopefully this em I wanted to show this, which
she got out out of her Christmas calendar.

Speaker 1 (55:33):

Speaker 3 (55:33):
Yeah, it's a stressed Those.

Speaker 1 (55:36):

My kids were all about them stressfuls them.

Speaker 3 (55:43):
Yeah. Same here both, Oh, don't teach your brother.

Speaker 1 (55:51):
We're getting that point.

Speaker 2 (55:52):
All right, here we go, so all right, listen, Actually,
we're gonna let let let's just call this today.

Speaker 1 (56:02):
We're gonna call it because we've done good. And uh
we're gonna try to get back here and do another show.

Speaker 2 (56:09):
To before Christmas if Hannah is going to do it,
So we're gonna do that.

But he's signed that All Elite Wrestling, which is the
second biggest wrestling company in the United States. Uh.

I haven't interviewed a professional wrestler in years, and this
guy is actually pretty big.

Speaker 1 (57:12):
He's you know, he's pretty up there. So I'm I'm
a little nervous. I haven't been this nervous in a while.

Speaker 3 (57:19):
