Nella primavera 2025, Netflix Argentina ha presentato la sua versione televisiva de L’Eternauta, tratta dal celebre fumetto di H.G. Oesterheld. La prima stagione, composta da sei episodi di circa un’ora, rappresenta il primo atto di un progetto in due parti che dovrebbe concludersi con la prossima stagione già confermata.
L’adattamento si confronta con la difficile eredità di un’opera leggendaria: un racconto d’avventura fantascientifica diventato mito anche per la tragica vicenda del suo autore. La serie ha subito diviso pubblico e critica: da una parte chi ne difende la fedeltà allo spirito originale, nonostante molti cambiamenti, dall’altra chi la giudica noiosa e deludente.
Eppure, questo Eternauta televisivo mantiene intatta la visione fondamentale di Oesterheld, mettendo al centro non il singolo eroe, ma il coraggio collettivo. Il vero protagonista resta la comunità: una collettività che, di fronte a una minaccia implacabile, prova a sopravvivere, riscoprendo la forza dell’eroismo condiviso.
