on between Cincinnati and Washington.

You got a really good shot to knock off one
of the most talented offensive teams in football, right, and.

It started last night, it would then extend to this morning.
Is news and happenings around the league that directly affect
the Broncos in the first month of the season. Right,
So you have Cincinnati to close out September on Monday
night at home. It's a team that you should have
beaten last year. The defense was really just starting to
find its way back as Riley Moss came back from

a long term injury in the secondary for the first
time really all year outside of the Baltimore game, like,
it struggled big time. And that's a win that you
look back and you go, or a loss rather that
you look back and you go that that should have
been a w for the Broncos. The offense sputtered in
overtime not once, but twice, and that's a team you

should beat this year. If that offensive line looks anything
like it did yesterday in front of Joe Burrow, the
Denver pass rush should be spectacular. And then what happens
this morning. While it's good news for the Broncos, right,
because you look at Cincinnati and that terrible defense and
a porous offensive line, you go all right. You can
find a way to get it, Joe Burrow. You can
find a way to win that game in Week four,

the second week of the season at Indianapolis. As of
this morning, automatically gets harder.

Danny Dimes, my off season prediction, has been named the
starting quarterback for the Indianapolis Football Colts. And yes, oh yes,
Danny Dimes himself is going to be the comeback player
of the year. I just hope that the Broncos just
take care of his against Danny Dimes.

Shane Steiken is going to like what he has finally
as a head coach and an offensive play caller for
the Colts that isn't going to just throw the football
to the other team or attempt to take off and

Right now, so anybody that penciled that game in as

are a much better football team, but Danny Dimes, as

of that was as a result of the dysfunction of
the New York Giants franchise. I don't believe that you're
gonna have the same type of dysfunction with Shane Steiken

calling the shots for the Indianapolis Colts with an actual
functional quarterback.

I don't think he is a threat, Daniel Jones. He is, however,
a far better option to win a football game for

of guarantee that they were going to be two and

going to or Richardson into the starting role because you
spend that first round draft pick on him. But you
know what, like Shane Steiken, Yeah, you're you're coaching for
your job at this point, right.

now that week two Daniel Jones will be the starter

Colts were a bit of a competitive team a year
ago with not even relatively competent quarterback play. So you
had where Danny Dimes is, he has the chance to

be a top twenty quarterback, top twenty five quarterback in
the NFL. I don't even know that you could say
Anthony Richardson is a top forty quarterback in the NFL.
Would you take it like we said yesterday, would take
Jarrett Stidham or Anthony Richardson as your starting quarterback?

I would take Stidham over Richardson.

where do you need to be going into that stretch, Namely,
is it Baltimore and Philly.

You got Philly first, then you have a couple of
easier games against the Jets and the Giants.

Game six and seven in London at or it's technically
a road game at New York October twelfth and home
against the Giants in October nineteenth. You have Dallas at home,
and then you travel to Houston in week nine.

You gotta be a minimum of two and two going
into Philly. I'm okay, Like I'm not happy with two
and two, but the season is not lost going into
Philly at two and two.

I think if you're two and two and you end
up splitting the division, like you and I have said that,
like we think the AFC West has a really good
chance of splitting all the way across the board somehow,
each team going one and one. If you're two and
two and everybody splits the division, I think you're gonna
have a really, really difficult time winning the AFC West

because you have road games at Philly at Washington. You
have the wild card of what happens when you have
to go overseas and play a bad Jets team.

But like, that's kind of a crapshoot.

When you're playing that early game on Sunday and then
your other non divisional games home against green Bay, Week
fifteen at Houston, Week nine home against Dallas, and Week eight,
like Dallas is the only game that you look at
and you go, yeah, that should be a pretty like
it should be a win for the Broncos.

it looks terrifying on paper, and frankly, so does the
Commander's game on paper.

The game at Washington in late November could be a nightmare,
especially if it's if it's weather induced and it turns
into a rushing attack, right because then you can just
tuck and run Jaden Daniels the entire time. Then they
have the advantage.

Speaking of behind enemy lines and the commanders, Deebo Samuel
did not look quite as overweight and incompetent as a
runner of the football like. He looked explosive fast, he

Some news out of a family sports center, some hockey
news here. In mid August, Logan O'Connor is skating for
the first time with I believe it's Melon Hayduk And
who's the the AVS new skills director. He is a

former Popovic. I think Mark Popovic is the new skills
director out there. So Logan O'Connor, according to Brennan Vote
of Hockey Mountain High, is out there on the ice
for the first time that we have seen him since
getting his hip resurfaced. He's still expected to be out
for the first couple of months of the season, but
that is a welcome site for Avalanche fans as we

gear up for training camp starting in September. And then
the beginning of the season in early October as the
Avs open up the season in LA against the Kings.
Good news, There are also other news around the National
Hockey League. USA Hockey has released their men's Olympic Orientation
Camp roster and Avalanche centerman Brock Nelson has been invited

to that camp, so there's a chance that Nelson could
represent the Red, White and Blue coming up at the
Winter Olympics.

He probably will Wonie Rojan. He was a mainstay on
the Four Nations. He was didnety skating the second line

He probably makes the team, especially if, like he looks
