I actually had a great day. Today was pretty awesome.
Speaker 6 (01:17):
Awesome, awesome, awesome. I see, Kenny, did you did you
have something going on? Let the world know what's going
on in your neck of the wood? So that noe,
what's going on?
Speaker 7 (01:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:31):
So just again, hi everyone. My name is Sandy Hopkins.
I am the founder of Drums Are Gouns Down and
basically just a little bit about our organization.
Speaker 7 (01:46):
My brother, his life.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Was ended in twenty twenty two, the year twenty twenty two.
He was actually he just gave his life the price
that Sunday morning, and unfortunately his life was taking that
same Sunday night. My brother was a drummer. He played
for numerous numerous churches all over the world, and he
(02:12):
just he just touched a lot of people. He knew
how to turn his pain into passion and drumming was
definitely something.
Speaker 7 (02:20):
That he loved to do.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
So in his memory, me and my family we decided
to start drums up just down. This is our.
Speaker 7 (02:30):
Uh fourth year.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
We're going on our fourth year and basically on January
the thirty first of next year, we will have a
community and youth deenvironment event. Well it will be my
self hosting and the beautifully and talented Miss Authentic Keys,
and we are going to have a program will bring
(02:53):
our youth community together. And how we do that is
we incorporate passing out drums fixed the kids and adults
of all ages. We even give away from We found
that if you are able to.
Speaker 5 (03:08):
Create your own beautiful beast.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
With drunks, it can be life changing and it also
can be very therapy.
Speaker 7 (03:15):
So on the thirty first of January. We have some
special guests coming. I can name a few.
Speaker 6 (03:22):
Uh.
Speaker 7 (03:22):
We have Mss.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Monica Scott and she is an amazing drummer out of Atalanta, Georgia.
And we also have so far mister Bravo Bugs. He
is also a familiar face. He is also a drummer
as well, and they will be coming to North Carolina
to hang out with us.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
Wow, that's will be an amazing situation over there.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Oh yes, it's definitely always a great turnout. We have
families from all over that may have lost the loved
ones to get violence, and we invite those families to
come in because we want to hear their voices.
Speaker 7 (04:02):
We want to let them know that we care and
that we love them.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
And although we are a grieving family, we want to
also let them know that just because we're grieving, we
want to do something better for everybody.
Speaker 7 (04:15):
So, as a grieving.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Family to another grieving family, we just want everyone to
know that we are one.
Speaker 7 (04:22):
But that's what drums are good.
Speaker 5 (04:23):
Bat amazing, amazing, amazing. So what's going on over in
your neck of the woods over there, Philip?
Speaker 8 (04:34):
Well, as I'm kind of quiet because I'm actually getting
my hair cut, but It just got done during the
National Baptist Convention on last weep, and it turned out
to be a success.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Dealing with.
Speaker 8 (04:54):
Seventeen musicians, a hundred and fifty to two hundred boys choir,
and and forty piece to sixty piece orchestra. So by
my hands was pretty much poor, I must say. And
then just doing some goods here and there, but the
(05:15):
main the main event was the National Baptist Convention. So
it turned out it turned out a great success. And
I'm excited for what's to come next. That would be
the NAM Show.
Speaker 6 (05:35):
Yeah, the NAM Show is going to be an arsenal experience.
I'm looking forward to the Damn Show. As a matter
of fact, I was looking at uh the experience on
the website right now basically on how much.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
The ticket is gonna be.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
Basically it's gonna be basically a great experience. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
And then from.
Speaker 8 (06:03):
Where I was told and will be at one hundred
percent coming soon.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
As far as attendance wise.
Speaker 6 (06:13):
Yeah, the attendance was as far as its attendance last year.
Speaker 5 (06:18):
It was everybody didn't show up, right.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
I was somewhat Stevie wonder was this CC.
Speaker 8 (06:27):
Whinings Berdean White from earth winder fire that the wooden
just quite just quite a few people. It wasn't it
wasn't afford house like as it should have been.
Speaker 5 (06:43):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
But I know twenty twenty six.
Speaker 8 (06:51):
That the Nam Show will be a full house at
one hundred percent.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Some awesome.
Speaker 6 (07:01):
A topic tonight is gonna be hope. Basically, what is
your take on hope? Anybody can speak on that?
Speaker 2 (07:17):
I would have to say my take on hope is
just hoping that things would, you know, definitely uh get greater,
you know, hoping that we can see a difference in
our community. I guess that would coincide with faith as well,
and just you know, hoping that we can apply that
(07:39):
faith so that God can definitely do his his his
big one is what I would say, getting our community involved.
I would say, I would hope that we can do that.
I would hope that people would be able to see
the vision that we have. I would hope that we
could partner with other organizations and other people that want
(08:00):
going to be.
Speaker 7 (08:00):
A difference and make a change.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
And I would hope that we can make this great
impact over you know, just over our whole community, our
whole world, and whole so hope is a big word,
you know, hope. Hey, you know, I know the topic
of hope. But you know, hope is is a big word.
(08:25):
But to me, faith figure so that I apply my
faith and versus hoping all these things. I'm just gonna say,
God is going to do it, you know what I'm saying,
And and just help.
Speaker 6 (08:40):
You're right, like how they says in the Bible that
says without faith works is dead.
Speaker 7 (08:45):
Right right, That's right.
Speaker 6 (08:49):
So So what I did, what I'm what I'm speaking
of is, you know, I talked to my injury, our engineer.
I can't say my engineer is our engineer, just a
little bit of ago, letting them know about the situation.
(09:10):
It shots out to Batman, shouts out to Jerry Royce
and the Jerry Royces family. That's our engineer, shouts out
to to Jerry Royce. I was letting him know that
that God is changing things and my atmosphere and my
(09:32):
my situation because I was trying to do one thing
and it seemed like it wasn't working. I was I
had a lot of faith, I had a lot of hope,
and I had a lot of believe and and and
(09:53):
then in the situation. But it seemed like I was
going I was putting two steps, but then all of
a sudden, I was taking two steps back. You understand
what I'm saying. What I mean by that, I was,
(10:15):
I'm in like basically homeless. Let's feel like that. But
after yesterday, God has blessed me with a place now
that nobody has lived in. Wow, they are literally building
(10:38):
the place right now. I won't be able to move
into the place until next month on the thirteenth, and
I will be the first person to touch the refrigerator,
the first person to touch the snow, the first person
to touch the glass door, the first person to touch
(11:02):
the door, and everything.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Like you said, we.
Speaker 6 (11:09):
Have to always have faith, all right, I was, you know,
like going through a lot of a lot of things,
you know, mentally, like stressing it out.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
You know.
Speaker 6 (11:23):
You know, as musicians, us leaders, we go through a
lot and you know, we try to take things in
our own hands.
Speaker 5 (11:34):
And when we do that and not.
Speaker 6 (11:38):
God, let let God do that the things, you know,
then God's gonna say, Okay, you do it.
Speaker 5 (11:49):
But right what what I.
Speaker 6 (11:51):
Basically did is I just stepped back and I watched it,
and then and I kept on looking and looked, kept
on looking in and kept on looking, and and all
of a sudden, God worked it out yesterday, brand new,
brand new home.
Speaker 7 (12:10):
That's amazing. God is always good. He's always on time.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yes he is, Yes he is.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
And you were able to get this new home. And
again I think that your faith. You applauded, you know,
and you let that and you said okay, although then
everyone else have told me no, I got to keep going.
(12:39):
And that's what happens when trust and believe in God.
Speaker 7 (12:43):
We have to keep going. We have to keep going.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
And God will remind us at times when we're at
our lowest point, he will remind us you know.
Speaker 7 (12:53):
That, you know I got your back.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
You know, He'll let you know. Just keep pushing, keep fighting.
And I remember you sharing that information with me, sharing
your story with me. And look at God. Within a
couple of days could have gotten anything.
Speaker 7 (13:11):
Else, but he blessed you with something. He was something
brand new, and that's new beginning.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
My pastor uh here in Atlanta, Jamal Bryant, he taught
us last night. He said, basically, sometimes you have to
change our environment. And if you don't decide to make
that move, God to make that move for you, you
know what I'm saying. So I'm grateful that I did
that for you, and I'm so excited for your new beginning.
Speaker 7 (13:40):
I think that that's amazing.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
That is an amazing way to you know, as we
as we enter into the end of the year, I
feel like that.
Speaker 7 (13:48):
Is a very amazing thing that.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
God has done for you.
Speaker 7 (13:52):
And I'm so happy for you.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
Brother.
Speaker 5 (13:55):
Yes, yes, I'm yes, really thankful. And it's like like
let's say, like I said, now, when you guys.
Speaker 6 (14:04):
When everybody come over, y'all can have a place to
you know, relaxing, and I can.
Speaker 5 (14:10):
And you get that.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
Get that?
Speaker 5 (14:13):
Uh that brother? What what what you want to say?
Speaker 1 (14:19):
M I'm just what you.
Speaker 5 (14:28):
I can have that ready for you know what I'm saying, bro.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
Yes, sir, ready for it.
Speaker 5 (14:37):
He's saying is uh. Nobody can say it like you
say what what you're saying is.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
Bro Uh the milking cookies something somnia cookies.
Speaker 6 (14:51):
Yes, yes, I can have the milk and cookies with
the Swift milk and cookies.
Speaker 5 (14:55):
Or I can have that Swift sauce ready for you.
You know what I'm saying. On the.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
Had a word I have.
Speaker 5 (15:06):
Yeah, definitely definitely Yes, Yes, so.
Speaker 6 (15:13):
Far as of Cougny, the light on on everything, on
the on the strength. Basically, I'm very very excited on
what God is doing on our podcast. We're actually reaching
(15:37):
and over one hundred and fifty countries as we speak
right now, and we got to cite a shot one
hundred and fifty countries right now as we speak to
right now, and and it shots out to UK and
the United States.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
All right, that's all. Yes, that's our.
Speaker 5 (16:04):
Our faithful incidents UK in the United States.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
What do you like?
Speaker 5 (16:15):
What is your your your aspect on atmosphere changing?
Speaker 7 (16:24):
Is that for anyone?
Speaker 1 (16:26):
Yes?
Speaker 7 (16:29):
And aperate just a little more.
Speaker 6 (16:33):
What is that like as far as the atmosphere changing,
you know, like as far as a musicians far as
the leadership, we have to set in an atmosphere, you know.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
That's state.
Speaker 6 (16:43):
It's basically when I'm I'm saying atmosphere changing, what is
your your your your take on the atmosphere changing or atmosphere.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
I would say that.
Speaker 7 (17:00):
The atmosphere is definitely changing the world is there are
a lot of things right now in this world.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
Who is I mean, even with the leadership, we see
all the things that's going on I'm not really political,
but we see everything that's going on the country and
in our world. I mean, every day is something that's happening.
I just I was reading up on school shooting today
in Chicago where it's principal lost her life and and
(17:36):
the person that took her life was a domestic violence situation.
Speaker 7 (17:40):
He also took.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
Three innocent children's wise and then he took his own life.
Things are happening, and and I do mean to go here,
but things are happening, and we need to be able
to seek God for a lot of things.
Speaker 7 (17:57):
Right now.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
Our world is in trouble and less we sit and
pull together. I just know that from my experience of
the last three years of you know, working with families
and hearing about different uh differs on our world. If
we don't and come together and put our differences aside
(18:19):
and work together and forget how we feel about one
person and things like that, and we really have to
apply God and everything. But if we don't do those
things while we have the early science, it's only going
to get worried here.
Speaker 7 (18:34):
Our leadership is is very corrupt.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
And I don't have to say things because again I'm
not a very political person, but I don't feel we
have the right leadership. But as my pastor teaches me
and Jesus the congregation, it doesn't really matter who we
have in office. We know who we serve and we
know who we can look to because our help comes
from Him. So as far as at I just feel
(19:01):
like we all need to keep doing what we're doing.
The gentleman that's on here, he mentioned some amazing people
coming out and them doing things working together. That is
that is to me a great thing that he's doing.
That to me is atmosphere changing. When someone can pick
something up and make a difference and make a change
(19:23):
and bring people together, that's the atmosphere changing for me.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (19:28):
Yes, that's basically what my my whole thing is about
with my topic, my logo basically unity. Where there's unity,
there is strength.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
Yes.
Speaker 6 (19:46):
So, and it doesn't have to be just all you know,
one person. You know, I can have basically one preser,
and that one person can teach another person, that another
person that can teach another person, and then that another
person can teach another person.
Speaker 5 (20:07):
That other person can teach another person.
Speaker 6 (20:10):
They don't even know who it started from exactly.
Speaker 7 (20:15):
Exactly.
Speaker 6 (20:16):
That's basically, that's basically what where where my mindset is
is about.
Speaker 5 (20:24):
We're in the process of since we did it and.
Speaker 6 (20:31):
Las Vegas this year, we're gonna I think we're in
the process of doing in California or somewhere on the
East Coast next year. So we're in the process of
doing that going out a Lat Vegas. That's basically what
(20:51):
we were in the process of doing because we got
a great it was a great impact from last year,
last year, this year's session.
Speaker 1 (21:03):
M hm. So I'm really grateful.
Speaker 6 (21:11):
And thankful about the things that God is bringing. You know,
God is bringing great people in my life and and
and making things happen, and and I'm not doing it
by myself, and.
Speaker 5 (21:29):
And I'm not relying on by myself.
Speaker 6 (21:33):
And I'm just just relying on God and letting him
guide me because if I let the flesh do it,
it's not going to happen.
Speaker 7 (21:47):
Right.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
A lot of people deal with.
Speaker 6 (21:52):
That situation when it comes with the flesh, when it
comes with talking and you know, you know, dealing with
people and stuff like that. When you tak leading, leading people,
you know, you can't do it.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
With the flesh.
Speaker 6 (22:12):
You know, Like I say, for instance, when I played music,
or when I before before I do a session, like
a service or whatever, I make sure I get fat first, right,
I don't know about any other musician. I make sure
(22:34):
I get fat first, you know. Like my service is
at eleven o'clock, I make sure I try to find
eight o'clock or seven o'clock service. It doesn't it doesn't.
Speaker 1 (22:51):
Matter what type of color or whatever.
Speaker 5 (22:56):
You know, could be a.
Speaker 6 (22:58):
Black church, could be a white church, could be a
purple church, can be whatever.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
You know, it doesn't matter with me.
Speaker 5 (23:05):
You know, just as long as you you you.
Speaker 1 (23:08):
You know you're.
Speaker 6 (23:09):
Talking about God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
That's that's what it's all about.
Speaker 7 (23:16):
That's what it's about. That's right.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (23:24):
And as long as you're talking about.
Speaker 7 (23:26):
The truth, that's right, that's right.
Speaker 5 (23:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (23:35):
So far as the truth, how your your what's your
aspects on the truth.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
I know, it's just set you free.
Speaker 5 (23:52):
I know.
Speaker 6 (23:53):
It's a great thing to do, you know, you know,
because you know, everybody sins and falls short of the
glory of God. You know, you know, we lose friends
because of that. You know, because of that, they're not
telling the truth or they're not they don't believe in
(24:14):
the truth, you know, or they don't believe that you
are the right person, or or whatever. You know, I
don't care what people think about me. It's no more
because after you know, after June, I've seen since since June,
(24:35):
you already know you're rather seen a lot. I've seen
a lot, definitely, Yet far as the depression, far as
of I didn't, I didn't go to the mental situation,
you know. I just I've just seen a lot.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, And although so much, you just got
to keep pushing. You gotta keep going. Your story is
definitely gonna uplift someone else. And the piggyback off of
what you said about musicians going through I worked with
(25:16):
a lot of musicians back at home in North Carolina,
and my brother actually dealt with mental health and a
lot of people didn't know because the way he played.
He played like he I mean, he played his heart out.
And you've seen some of the videos played for new
groups like McDonald's sisters, he's played for Adela Man. I mean,
(25:40):
he's played for a couple of people with high standards,
and he.
Speaker 7 (25:44):
Loved what he did.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
And unless you really sat down and had a conversation
with him, you wouldn't have knew that he was battling
depression and some other mental illnesses, but drumming. That is
why it is important to know what drumming can do
for you. We've also worked with children that were diagnosed
with autism disorder are id D, and we've brought we've
(26:09):
actually brought.
Speaker 7 (26:10):
Drums to the censors.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
One of the places that we partnered with was Autism
Society of Cumberland County and we brought drums there and
those those children and those babies, they played and they
made their own creative beat. You should have seamless smiles
on their faces. So and then now I have other
drummers that are of older ages. I mean, one just
(26:34):
reached out to me last week. She was in her
thirties and she was battling depression and things like that
and needed someone to talk to. And then all of
a sudden, after a quick conversation, she went to her
drums and she was Okay, So you gotta understand the
fundamental of mental health and actually finding a way to heal.
Speaker 7 (26:57):
And so I just really feel like that's what you're doing.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
You found your killing area, you found your healing genre,
and that's your story is gonna definitely uplift other musicians
and other people that are currently going through I just
feel like you should keep on telling your story.
Speaker 7 (27:16):
Don't don't give up, don't quit.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
Have those conversations with God and let him lead and
guide you.
Speaker 7 (27:22):
But keep doing what you're doing.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
And although you may not feel like you're reaching someone,
you're actually reaching someone. You're reaching people, You're touching lives,
and you keep doing what you're doing. Don't give up.
It's a beautiful thing to see how you converted from
where you were to where God is taking you.
Speaker 7 (27:40):
And I'm very proud of you.
Speaker 6 (27:43):
Really, I really appreciate that such so I really appreciate that.
I didn't even think that, you know, I really did
not think that it either, But only God knows and
when God knows, and it took you to say that,
and it was a blessing to hear that from someone
(28:03):
else in on one of God's servants.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
That's right, that's right, and I'm here for you anytime
there night. I know we're on two different time zones.
You're in California, I'm in Atlanta, but if ay, you know,
you could definitely reach out I'm always.
Speaker 7 (28:20):
Here for you.
Speaker 6 (28:22):
Yeah, speaking of that, did you did you realize that
we have all time zones on the.
Speaker 1 (28:28):
Phone right now?
Speaker 9 (28:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (28:34):
Yeah, isn't that a trip?
Speaker 1 (28:39):
Yes?
Speaker 9 (28:39):
It is, it is.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
That's crazy.
Speaker 6 (28:43):
We got Pacific standard time, we got Central Standard time,
and we got he said standard time.
Speaker 5 (28:49):
I would sending that by myself yesterday.
Speaker 2 (28:53):
Over here, y'all.
Speaker 5 (28:57):
Last awesome.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
Wow wow wow wow.
Speaker 8 (29:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (29:05):
God brings you together.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
It doesn't matter what time, you know, just that's how
he works.
Speaker 7 (29:12):
Yeah, and God, that's how.
Speaker 6 (29:17):
Yeah, in God time and he did it and in
godsh time and he did he sure did it.
Speaker 8 (29:22):
He did it.
Speaker 6 (29:23):
And I believe, I believe that this is a great
This is gonna be a great podcast as we.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
Glue things together.
Speaker 6 (29:34):
I'm really thankful to have you guys as my co host,
you know, and we're gonna be talking about.
Speaker 2 (29:44):

I must say.
Speaker 7 (29:49):
I was a little nervous.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
I didn't know what I was getting myself into.
Speaker 5 (29:54):
Why was you nerves?
Speaker 2 (29:56):
I just uh, you know, being being on the podcast
and letting people hear what we're doing and things like that,
you know, And I didn't want.
Speaker 7 (30:08):
To get choked up, y'all.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
I just was like, you know what, and then this
kind of went away, but I was like, Okay, I
got this. I'm gonna do it. So here we are
anna say.
Speaker 1 (30:23):
This to you.
Speaker 5 (30:24):
I'm gonna say this to you, said, I'm gonna say this.
Speaker 6 (30:26):
Right now as we speak. I'm gonna say this to
you to speak us as musicians, as as leaders, as
we go to uh before the throne, as we get
on a set of drums, as we get on the podiums,
we are gonna have those bubbles in our stomach. If
we don't have those bubbles you already in the flesh,
(30:47):
remember that, y right, So.
Speaker 1 (30:52):
That makes you care.
Speaker 6 (30:55):
Hallelujah, and it means that you care bringing That's what
I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (31:01):
Hallelujah.
Speaker 9 (31:02):
Yeah, thank you Jesus.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (31:07):
So as we leave the show, as we are in
this show, we're gonna like to thank underwriter Jerry Royce live, Yeah,
Jerry Royce. Jerry Royce for opening up the airways, reaching
(31:29):
over hundred and fifty countries right now as we speak. Yeah,
one hundred and fifty countries as we speak right now. Yeah,
So you're just not reaching your city, you're reaching a
lot of people. So I would just thank you Jerry
(31:49):
for for giving us this time to speak. And at
this time, do you have anything to say?
Speaker 2 (31:59):
Uh?

Co ho? Both of you.
Speaker 9 (32:00):
Guys, I would just say, be vigilant and be so.
Speaker 5 (32:10):
Okay, because the.
Speaker 8 (32:12):
Devil he's really busy, he's really out busy.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
How I know.
Speaker 8 (32:19):
He tried to take me out back in August with
a head on religion.
Speaker 10 (32:24):
Wow yes, wow, wow, thank God, thank you, keeping you,
thank you Lord.
Speaker 5 (32:37):
Yes, Lord, yes sir, that's a blessing. That is a
blessing that you are still here.
Speaker 7 (32:42):
Yes it is.
Speaker 8 (32:45):
And coming from from the ministers. My assignment is not over.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
Yeah, yes, that's right.
Speaker 8 (32:57):
And my Lord, and what I have to say to
the to the listeners. The reason why I said that
because when you when you're doing something good, when you're
doing something productive and it's pleasing, it in God's sight,
(33:18):
and Devil himself will throw snares and traps, throw you
off m.
Speaker 1 (33:27):
Even to death. And I work around death. And let
me tell you, I.
Speaker 8 (33:37):
Just say, I thank God for for let me, for
let me see another day and to walk away from you,
the angel of death.
Speaker 6 (33:49):
Oh Jesus, thank you Lord.
Speaker 8 (33:54):
That's why I said, the be vigilant, be sober, and
all things.
Speaker 6 (34:03):
That you do.
Speaker 5 (34:07):
H That's all I have, all right, Kendy, what you got?
Speaker 1 (34:14):
Well?
Speaker 2 (34:15):
You know, I have been dealing with a lot recently
in my life.
Speaker 7 (34:20):
The devil has tried.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
To attack me and bring me to my lowest.
Speaker 7 (34:24):
Over the last several months. I don't want to share
it on the radio.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, but I have been to the
lowest of the lowest in the last six months. I
had thought God was mad at me. I thought I
was being punished. I thought, you know, things could never
get any better for me. I mean, I lost my job,
I lost my car. I'm just like, come on, God,
what's up?
Speaker 7 (34:52):
Because I mean, what more do I go through?
Speaker 2 (34:54):
And then I started blaming myself and questioning God, and
I'm like, Okay, what's really good going on here? And
then I began to think, Wow, you haven't.
Speaker 7 (35:04):
Prayed in a long time.
Speaker 2 (35:05):
Girl. You haven't opened up your word on time.
Speaker 7 (35:08):
Girl, you haven't really called FID unless you really needed them.
Speaker 8 (35:13):
You know.
Speaker 2 (35:13):
It's almost like, Okay, God, I'm gonna give it a
break today. I'm gonna go talk to you when I
need you, and then I'll.
Speaker 5 (35:20):
Put back up.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
That's not what type of That's not how God works.
Speaker 7 (35:23):
He is a jealous guy, and God definitely.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
Wants us to pray to him and calling his name
every day. Since I went through that situation, I've been
able to pick myself back up. But it started with
opening my word. I started in my prayer closet. I
made that my secret place I had. I started reading
my word because at one point I read the word I'm.
Speaker 7 (35:48):
A pastive kid, but I didn't understand the word. You
know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
And now I'm see different scriptures because I'm taking notes
and taking my time.
Speaker 7 (35:57):
And I'm truly trying.
Speaker 2 (35:58):
I'm truly understanding and what messages God is trying to
send me. And I can honestly say that things have tremendously.
Speaker 7 (36:05):
Changed for me.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
And the last month, I was able to start a
new job that pays me more than what the job
I lost. Shiftings we're talking about the atmosphere.
Speaker 7 (36:22):
Things are shifting.
Speaker 2 (36:23):
My atmosphere is changing, and I'm just grateful that God
brought me out of that. So you guys continue to
pray for me, because at one point Ms the co
host and bro, I wasn't able to. I'm telling y'all
wouldn't have been able to do this, but look where
God has brought me from.
Speaker 1 (36:41):
M Wow.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
Yes, I'm gonna be able to teach and talk about
drumming and how it made other people feel, how it
makes them feel good. But I also want to incorporate
my story one day.
Speaker 5 (36:59):
And God is building what you're doing now, You're doing
it right now. You're doing it right now.
Speaker 1 (37:06):
Life and favor.
Speaker 5 (37:10):
Yeah, God is doing it. Thank you Jesus.
Speaker 6 (37:13):
Yes, Lord, So I just thank God for just manifesting,
you know, manifesting in my life, just just period. You know,
you know, you know, it's saying things that I did
not even see.
Speaker 5 (37:29):
He's just making things happen, you know, things.
Speaker 6 (37:33):
That you know, like say, for instance, I was you know,
thinking like you know, I was just left alone, you know,
by myself. But make make me want a shot right now.
I got two left feet.
Speaker 2 (37:48):

Speaker 5 (37:50):
