Yeah, but you know, yeah, that's what I'm saying. But
if you if you do know something about the groups,
feel free to uh, you know, to talk about you know,
say something about the groups, because that's what that's what
it's all about, all right, That's what I'm talking about.
That's what I'm talking about. My first my first five,
(02:37):
I mean, first person. I'm gonna go with the group
I really love the most. We're gonna go all the
way into l a. Bro where we're gonna go have
the clinic next year, City or refuge. Okay, And you know,
(02:59):
I like me some Mike Burrell and the night burn
that pay singers. When they get their their their group
and they really stick and they glue. Man, ain't nothing
can stop them.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Unstoppable.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Yeah, they did something, they did something last week. Man,
they did some rhythm last week, and it was like
a rhythm they did an old fashioned It was like
a basically a group, I mean a nice melody basically,
but when they changed their rhythm, it was to the
to the point to where it was like, for real,
(03:42):
did they really do that? It was like eye catching,
that ear catching. I was like, man, so when I
find that that rhythm in that group or whatever, when
I when I find that that that read, I'm gonna
send it both to you guys, and I'm gonna say
what y'all say about this?
Speaker 4 (04:00):
Okay, I would be looking for it.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
All right, awesome, next school, We're gonna go all the
way back to the old school. Basically. One of my
favorite resting Peace. Frankie Beverly and Maze. That band is ridiculous, Man,
Franky Beverly and Maze band. That group is ridiculous.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
I'm sure.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
Oh my goodness, don't get me with some some happy feelings.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
Man, happy fills.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Yeah, that's a nation.
Speaker 6 (04:48):
Yeah. Check it out. When when Frankie goes with one.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
Two, three, you know what goes in the next that
base come in right right?
Speaker 6 (05:01):
And then when.
Speaker 7 (05:04):
Exactly yes, yes, yes, so say say for instance, once
that once that comes in sam.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
Once that comes in and then then he does it's
that bass, and then Calvin Knapper comes in with that rhythm.
That's it. Calvin Napper. Calvin Knapper. You know, he's been
(05:37):
one of my friends, uh, you know, a while, for
a long long time, a long time. And he's Oh
my goodness, he's.
Speaker 4 (05:46):
Been a Grammy Award, yes, sir, yes, sir, Grammy Award
winning drummer.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Yes, yes, yes, definitely, definitely. And then I was just
listening to Number three. I was just listening to, uh,
this band.
Speaker 4 (06:08):
This week.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
They was they were just talking it just just marking
it off the church, they off the charge basically all
the time every time I listened to him. Victory Baptist Church,
their band Doctor Blakely and Wesley Terry. No his name
(06:41):
is it is Wesley, but it's I'm talking about the basement,
the base, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, once they get together,
I mean and Jonathan Love he's on the the keys,
I mean the base, I mean B three they locked.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
Ain't nothing like that.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
Ain't ain't nothing. Ain't nothing like a good band that locks.
A matter of fact, like I told you guys for
the past the set three sessions, I was telling you guys,
I like to go to a service before I go
to play before God's people. You understand me, because you
(07:31):
never know what the people are bringing in what we
plan over, you know what I'm saying. So we got
to be ready in season and out of season, just
to know when to play, when not to play, when
when to stop, when to let the Lord comes in.
(07:53):
And that that's basically what we was. We was happening
this week. We had a session this week. I'm gonna
tell you about the message in a little bit after
I finished my last my last one, but that's we
actually got a praise break in this week, bro, And
so yeah, we we literally actually got a praise break
(08:17):
this week.
Speaker 4 (08:17):
And you know, so.
Speaker 8 (08:21):
My my, my, my uncle, the administrator administrator system Aster Mason,
he was he was like feeling good this this week.
Speaker 4 (08:35):
And he actually cut almost cut a step this week. Okay,
all right, all right, then come on through, y'all.
Speaker 6 (08:50):
That's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
So he was a mess. He was a mess. He's
a mess. Number two basically number two I had. I
was three struggling between two groups. So basically I'm gonna
see them both. But my first one was mint condition
(09:18):
mm hmm Tony Tony Tone.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
Oh okay, yeah, so uh.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
That that part, that part I was on Man Condition
on Tony Tony two. All right, yeah, have you you
seen have you seen Tony twenty tone? No, not Tony
Tony Tony Tones. Have you seen Men Condition live?
Speaker 4 (09:44):
Man So Men Condition. My cousin produced that the record.
Speaker 3 (09:52):
Do you understand what I'm saying? Have you seen them live?
Speaker 4 (09:55):
I heard there is It's not a joke when they
do stuff live.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
When they do stuff live, it's like who hm hm.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
The basin when they do pretty Brown Eyes.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
Oh yeah, check it out. That uh that that drum
roll in between. You gotta have that drum roll on point.
If you don't have that drum roll on point, you're
gonna mess up the whole.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
Song, right, And you know Las Vegas own Terry Wesley
played for Make Condition for a little bit.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
Yes he did, Yes he did, Yeah, yes he did,
Yes he did.
Speaker 4 (10:45):
Mister t West, another Las Vegas legend.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
Yeah, yeah, you're right, yeah, you're right, right, you're right.
And number five I lost one that I'm going with
because you got the main ones, bro, And then we're
gonna start in the light with our sister whatever, whatever
group or whatever artists that she has, she she has it,
(11:16):
you know, or let's make it happen. The last group
we're gonna do is Gladness Night Man, and I'm shining
in the light with with Daryl wolf Folk because on
jam on the drums, you know, dryl wolf Folks. He
literally started the Drummers United Music and Arts Fest. Even
(11:41):
though I was the founder. He was there with me.
It was just me and him when we first started.
Speaker 4 (11:48):
Cool Man. That's that's a blessing, you know.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
So Daryl wo Folk fifteen years and now it's going
to be going on sixteen years next year. It'll be
sixteen years next year. Uh, everyone, we're going to We're
going to Compton next year. Compton, California. That's where we're gonna.
Speaker 4 (12:11):
Be at August.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
Yeah, we're gonna be in August, uh twenty ninth. We're
gonna be there in Compton if that's the last twenty
in the last Saturday of.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
August. Good August.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
Yeah, we're gonna do uh not a toy drive, but
we're gonna do it. We give him away book bags
next year. So yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know y'all
gonna be there, right candy. Oh yeah, of course, definitely. Okay, Yeah,
(12:57):
that's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 4 (12:58):
Yeah, yeah, bring some barbecue and I can't forget about
some cookies. Forgive, forgive me. I'm a little I'm off
my rocker.
Speaker 6 (13:14):
But no, Bro, it's okay, it's okay. So much what
you're telling me, you're telling.
Speaker 4 (13:19):
Me I'm not have to push.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
I'm gonna have to bring the grill out that time.
Speaker 4 (13:22):
Is that what you're saying, You're gonna have to bring
the grill out and the Swiss fa Yeah all right, lord, oh.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
Yes, oh John, thank you. Oh my goodness, Lord, have mercy. Hmmm,
you're really gonna make me put my hand on the fire.
Speaker 4 (13:44):
But this time, man, as the late evangelist Teresa mccleannan says,
lets those hands and tell the Lord thank you Louis.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
Yes, Lord, Lord, let those hands up. Yes, yes, yes,
So basically, uh, bro, you have the last five Bro.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
Okay, let's let's let's go to Chicago. I'm pretty sure
everybody loves smooth jazz. Well we're gonna be in Chicago
for these two. So so, this particular group of musicians
was founded by Grammy Ing pianists Ramsey Lewis Urban Knights.
(14:36):
So Urban Knights is consist of of.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
Course with.
Speaker 4 (14:42):
Ramsey being the founder, and he recruited young musicians like
Calvin Rodgers, Kevin Randolph, Scharay Reed, Maurice Fitzgerald, Joey Woolfolk.
These are gospel musicians that had come together. We can't
forget about Quinn Quinn, Quinn. What's this guy's last name?
(15:06):
His Quinn Johnson, another drummer excess. So so what did
so what Ramsey did? Of course he created a super
smooth jazz group and created a fresh pop R and
(15:31):
B sound from gospel musicians, which is pretty cool. That's
what that was. My introduction to smooth jazz was listening
to Urban Knight's Dream off their two thousand and four album.
I think Urban Knights four or five one of those albums.
(15:53):
So we want to give a good send off to
the late. We just want to say thank you to
the late Ramsey Lewis of putting together a super group
of musicians called the Urban Knights. And then we don't
still stay in Chicai. We're still gonna stay in Chicago
(16:14):
for this one. Another another smooth jazz guy. Awesome. He's
known for his piano, met Lee's uh. He's known for
flipping flipping good classic songs into his own. And without
(16:34):
further ado, we're gonna say hello and a round of
applause for mister Brian Colbertson.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
Goodness, Oh goodness, Wow, Yeah, he's good.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
I can say a lot about I can say a
lot about Brian Colberson. I could, I could go to
sleep listen to his music, yese like we'll be okay, yes, yes,
and we we love we love Brian Colberson and Urban
(17:08):
Knights for the contributions to music. And then speaking of bands,
let's let's roll out to l A. So this band,
you know, had literally started the ground work for b
E T's uh Gospel show celebration of the Gospel. Yes,
(17:35):
what can I so? This band? I love their professionalism.
They they knocked every artist, every gospel artist material down
to the tea as it was written as they was
playing the record themselves, so I would give. We're just
(17:56):
gonna give. Also not only celebration of gospel, they actually
the house being for the Jay Leno Show American Idol
the Yes, So we're gonna give a good rhyme of
applause for the Ricky Minor band and yeah, yes, Ricky
(18:26):
Ricky Minor one of the toughest bass players. But he,
like his mannerisms, is so down to earth. He cares
about what he does, but most likely he cares about
the people. He's a people person.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
And and what.
Speaker 4 (18:53):
Can I say about Teddy Campbell, He's an awesome drummer
who loves God. Had a privilege to meet Teddy Campbell
when I went to nam My first nam And not
only that, he's just an awesome guy. Yes see it,
(19:14):
so we have. So we just want to say to
Ricky Minor, we thank you for your contributions. Continue to
keep doing what you're doing.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
That's right, keep on doing with this.
Speaker 4 (19:29):
And then speaking of yeah, let's go to Mississippi, Canton, Mississippi.
So this particular group was founded by the original founding
members of this group. His dad was the original member
(19:49):
and his and their songs, you know, they won countless
awards the hit songs Glad I've Got Jesus, I Got
to clean up where I mess up? Yeah, and my
favorite one, I quite got a couple of favorite ones. Huh,
(20:10):
that's a yes quartet. And my my favorite song is
I recommend Jesus because he'll supply all I needs. So,
without further ado, out of Canton, Mississippi, give it up
(20:32):
for the Canton Spirituals.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
Oh yeah, that was my.
Speaker 5 (20:44):
Group.
Speaker 3 (20:45):
Come on with it, Come on with it now, I
know we will come on. Yeah, yeah, I hold on.
Speaker 5 (21:00):
I didn't hear you what you say.
Speaker 4 (21:01):
Now they say.
Speaker 6 (21:03):
Something about them can.
Speaker 4 (21:06):
Yeah, well, well what you know about them can Spirituals.
Speaker 5 (21:09):
I'm not mistaken. If I'm not mistaken. I was a
little girl listening to him back in the day. But
I think one of their songs is walk around Heaven
all Day.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
Yes, that's it, that's it.
Speaker 5 (21:23):
Okay, that was my grandfather's favorite group. Yeah. When the
guy hits the high notes and and it just he
took over. He took over the whole song when he
hit the high notes. Y'all know the high note I'm talking.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
About, y'all walk around here?
Speaker 9 (21:39):
Yeah, yeah, yes, and says says, well, on a since
we're on a roll, of course, that le let's let's
keep it going.
Speaker 4 (21:57):
So this particularly so this particular group, another quartet group.
This singer is very well known, very powerful testimony, very
powerful testimony. You know he had God has blessed him
(22:18):
tremendously build his body from a stroke for him being paralyzed.
And he's he's very well known and he's featured on
everybody's albums, even including even you know with Rant Allen
(22:39):
the Canton Spirituals. He even got a he he's a
feature on Kenny Lewis in One Voice recent project. So
but but his songs with his group is two Wings, Yes, okay,
(23:02):
just another day and and uh another hit song stand up. So,
without further ado, Paul Porter and the Christiannaires, Oh.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
My goodness, you really take me back?
Speaker 4 (23:23):
And I could say I can truly say about Paul
Porter and the Christianaires they know how to have church,
talking about really take back. They know how to have
some good c h u r c h. Yes, they
(23:47):
know how to have church.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
Uh they don't call it church no more. They call
it chotschotch.
Speaker 4 (23:56):
Chch jodge patching. Oh yes, well, so well what you
know about so since what you know about the about
the Christiannaires.
Speaker 5 (24:15):
I know a little bit about the Christian Airs, not much.
If you if you name a song, I probably.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
Will know it, but I don't know too much.
Speaker 5 (24:25):
I'm gonna let you all continue talking about these amazing groups.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Okay, okay, all right, all right, so not not only that. Well,
let let's let's go back to let's go to Yeah,
let's go to Minneapolis, Yeah, Minneapolis. You know this particular
(24:52):
this particular group was well, this musician, he started off
as a music song songwriter. He has worked with uh,
of course the Sounds of Blackness, Sounds of Blackness, and
(25:12):
he's also actually Mike Burrell has worked on a couple
of his albums as well too. And what can I
truly say about this particular guy, Uh, he could play
some keys. We give him that. I had the opportunity
to soak up a lot of stuff as a kid
(25:35):
being around this particular guy. He has worked with a
stellar award winning choir, Excelsior. Uh. He has written and
worked with Sounds of Blackness, and he has done some
of his own projects. One of his one of his
songs has changed his situation. And my favorite song I
(26:00):
like to listen to is keep on Living. Uh. Well,
let's let's let's put let's put the right in the
left together for a good applause for Darnell Davis and
the Remnant. Oh oh yeah, that Darnell Davis.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
Fact and the fact I was just I was just
listening to uh, Sounds of Blackness yesterday, coming from the
north side of town. I was listening to I believe
you heard that song. I believe.
Speaker 4 (26:40):
Oh yeah, that's that's not his song, that's one of
that I like that.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
I love that song. Oh my goodness, it comes on,
it comes, it comes on the but it comes on
like say, for instance, when I'm listening to Tandora, it
comes on through Pandora three or four times a day
on my Pandora.
Speaker 4 (27:04):
And we just want to say to Gary Hines, the
founder of Sounds of Blackness, thank you, thank you, and
thank you for countless hits of vin black gospel music.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
Yes, yes, definitely, definitely, yes.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
Yeah, we're without Without God, that wouldn't be no Gary Hines,
and without no Gary Hines and Jimmy jam and Terry Lewis,
it wouldn't be no Sounds of Blackness.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
Sounds of Blackness, that's true, that's true.
Speaker 4 (27:43):
But well a lot of people don't know. Sounds of
Blackness used to be a production. It was before it
became a choir a group. Yeah, still is that's all
I long. The move is a production yeah, how many
(28:06):
more do I have?
Speaker 5 (28:07):
Bro?
Speaker 3 (28:09):
You got as many as you got, You got as
many as you want, man, because it's just put it
like this, it's sounding good. Matter of fact, we beat
up bringing up you know a lot of songs and
a lot of stuff that people like, and they like,
you know very It's like, yeah, I'm right, turn this
(28:33):
on right now. If I got my CD player right now,
Let'm gonna put this on my CD right now.
Speaker 4 (28:44):
Yeah mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (28:48):
It's like this, Uh, Kenny, you ready.
Speaker 4 (28:57):
Ready?
Speaker 3 (28:58):
Who's your who's your sun light on tonight?
Speaker 5 (29:04):
So I would have to sign the light on. And
she's a drummer, okay, but he amazed and those talented.
Speaker 4 (29:16):
He's just.
Speaker 5 (29:18):
Awesome, awesome and in my eyes, one of the best
female drummers alive.
Speaker 3 (29:23):
And she would eat.
Speaker 4 (29:25):
Okay, oh buddy, that's my buddy so much.
Speaker 5 (29:34):
And she has a variety of different ways to play
the drums.
Speaker 3 (29:39):
And she can.
Speaker 5 (29:41):
Can play jazz, she can play r and b any
any type of job of drummers she can play. And
she's always too happy and of it. Yeah, I love
she was.
Speaker 3 (29:54):
She chearched me out, she tripped me off when she
she gave us the invitation on.
Speaker 6 (29:59):
Her she uh did that?
Speaker 3 (30:01):
Uh uh the bottles? Remember that?
Speaker 4 (30:06):
Yeah? I remember that.
Speaker 3 (30:08):
Oh Michael Jackson's song. I didn't know that.
Speaker 4 (30:11):
Don't stop till you get enough. Yeah, and guess what
she didn't stop?
Speaker 6 (30:21):
She did and she's not.
Speaker 3 (30:23):
She just did. She just did a lot and a
Latin album just just a few weeks ago.
Speaker 4 (30:30):
And also she she's considering for a Grammy too. Mm hmm,
yeah for Grammy considerations.
Speaker 3 (30:39):
Grammys consideration.
Speaker 6 (30:41):
I think.
Speaker 3 (30:43):
She just got a star, like, uh, shoot.
Speaker 6 (30:48):
Three or four years ago.
Speaker 10 (30:51):
Yeah, yeah, she guess she got him start in Hollywood.
Speaker 6 (30:54):
Three or four years ago.
Speaker 3 (30:56):
If I'm mistaken, h let's stay five to ten years
like that, give a five six here. I mean, yeah,
she just got her start on the Hollywood Walk of Fan.
I can't wait to go find that start. I can't
wait for that start.
Speaker 4 (31:16):
I'm pretty sure it's somewhere downtown or Hollywood Boulevard, is it.
Speaker 3 (31:22):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I can't wait to go
find that that that start. That's gonna be a chance
of a lifetime just to take a picture.
Speaker 4 (31:33):
There, you know right, Yeah, I got that.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
Check it out. I have the the Hollywood sign I
was able to to you know that that's that Hollywood
sign is very hard to take a picture of. You
can't take it with you can't take a picture with
your your phone unless your your angles right.
Speaker 4 (32:02):
Right now.
Speaker 3 (32:05):
If you try to take it from downtown, you can
I catch it. You can't catch it good. And me
being a photographer, me, me being a person that know
how to take some good pictures. There's a lot of
stuff that you you know, like you gotta have the
light right, air lighting, right lighting and stuff like that.
(32:29):
I was messing with somebody, matter of fact. Matter of fact,
I was at the d m V because I was
just taking a new, a new uh DMV picture. You
know how those cameras is, right, those those cameras, they
those big cameras. They that that that big light, it
(32:52):
just blooms it just like that, right, I tease. I
made a joke with the camera person. I said, look,
make sure it's four hundred speed.
Speaker 4 (33:06):
Did you get that?
Speaker 3 (33:09):
I said, make sure, I said, make sure it's for
a hundred speed, right, because but my last picture was dark.
It made me look so dark. So basically, what they did,
I will tell you what my family did. Basically, what
they did. They brought their cameras. They brought they had
their camera out there, and they basically started putting their
(33:33):
phone or some other type of lighting to make make.
Speaker 6 (33:38):
Me look a little bit better.
Speaker 3 (33:40):
Because basically that that that background. It if you don't
have the right clothes on, or if you don't have
the right setting or whatever, it's gonna make your your
your face or whatever dark. So think about that next time. Okay,
(34:03):
bright closet, bright clothes or whatever, or make sure it
does not blend in with the the the backdrop, backdrop,
it's gonna help your picture.
Speaker 4 (34:19):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (34:21):
I had him cracking up.
Speaker 4 (34:24):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 8 (34:27):
Yeah, and.
Speaker 3 (34:30):
I was. I had a great message on last week
from Pastor Kelly, the pastor of Vegas vir Church of
God in Christ. You're talking about amazing Pastor Pastor Kelly,
(34:51):
and Lady Kelly, Oh my goodness, and that message to
really touched heart. And guess what it was about adding
and subtracted, Adding, subtraction.
Speaker 6 (35:13):
Do you get that adding?
Speaker 3 (35:15):
The reason why I brought that up because for the
past two or three weeks we haven't been talking about
that adding and subtracting. Remember that, Yeah, adding people in
your life, the right people that's gonna be in your life,
that's gonna be in there for the lo lord or
either subtracting them or taking them away. Because if you've
(35:37):
put the wrong people in your your life and your lifestyle,
it can get you and put you in the wrong places.
Speaker 4 (35:47):
Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
Adding and so I was really, really, really really touched
by that message with Pastor Kelly. You're talking about you know,
if you're looking for a church home, you know, you
know bigas view of its place. I'm not just saying
(36:12):
that because I'm one of the musicians. Yes we do
have great music there, Yes you do. You do have
a great drummer there. Yes you do have a great
keyboard is there. But you know that church is really
really growing. Reason why I'm saying is really growing because
it's not just going with our color, is going with
(36:39):
all colors, all colors. Yeah, white, Hispanic, you mean it,
it was they there, they're coming. So it's it's really touching.
That's what they're really touching to me because it's very
(37:00):
encouraging to me that he's doing great things. He's not
he's not saying that he's the one that's doing this.
He's saying God is the one that's doing this.
Speaker 5 (37:13):
That's right.
Speaker 3 (37:14):
He's he's the but the shepherd. He's not saying, Okay,
this is my church. You know how you get certain
pastors and and certain leaders always say this is my church.
He said, I'm working for you. I'm working for you,
and I like stuff like that. You know when when
(37:37):
you you look, you lay everything out there on the
on the line for the ministry, not you just taking
over the ministry. That's a blessing, right right, what's good
on that?
Speaker 4 (38:00):
Go ahead? What's your input on it?
Speaker 5 (38:06):
My input? My input on.
Speaker 3 (38:09):
Just the blessing in general.
Speaker 6 (38:11):
Or repeat the question for me, like say.
Speaker 3 (38:14):
For instance, we are the church. You understand what I'm saying.
That's basically what I'm saying. We are the church, and
you have to put you have to put your yourself
as the church, not the basically you're you're you're being
in those four walls. That's basically what I'm saying. So
(38:38):
how do you see yourself or how do you see it?
See that as the church?
Speaker 5 (38:46):
So again, you don't have to physically and this is
just my opinion, you.
Speaker 3 (38:51):
Don't have to physically church.
Speaker 5 (38:55):
To receive blessing, to receive your healing. The church is
on the inside you, that's right between you and God
is what's most important. And so literally have a relationship
with God. Like say, for instance, one of my special
places that.
Speaker 3 (39:14):
I go is in my closet.
Speaker 5 (39:16):
I have an actual prayer closet that I go through
and it's my and I pray in there. I read
in there and listen to my words, my music. You know,
it's just my getaway place from everything. Because then the
word it says that we're supposed to have a secret
place anyway, right, We're supposed to, you know, to be
(39:36):
somewhere we can close the doors and just have that
one on one with God.
Speaker 3 (39:40):
So the changes on the.
Speaker 5 (39:42):
Side of us, meaning we can go out there and
do something nice for someone. God sees that we can
go and feed the homeless. I see that, you know
what I'm saying. So I just feel like I personally
love going to church. I'm not gonna lie loved going
because they give hugs. No, for real, I genuinely I'm
(40:09):
the one that walks through the doors, and the ladies
that are standing there, the God that standing there, they
give hugs. I husband back.
Speaker 3 (40:17):
I love that.
Speaker 5 (40:20):
They welcome you, that lets you know that you're where
you loved it, that you're loved. But there are some
people that can only be serviced online, or some people
that still are a little afraid of COVID. Don't want
to get out there, don't, you know, don't want to
chance it. And COVID is still out there, you know.
But I was at home last Sunday and me and
(40:44):
my mom locked hands and we had church in our apartment.
So you can get the gospel anywhere. I've been to
programs where and this is the truth. I've been to
programs that were supposed to be like a genuine party
and somebody broke out with a gospel song and that
(41:04):
was it. You can anywhere, you know what I'm saying.
So that's my int the church and how it's supposed
to work in your life.
Speaker 3 (41:14):
Though, Amen, and we I liked about that, and you
gave a different aspect over the church, not something negative.
You gave something positive. And that's what we're all about.
Is called positive power for a reason, Positive Power twenty
(41:35):
one Christian Media LLC. That's a blessing. And let's say,
uh shouts out to Jerry Royce. Last last week we
got off too fast we we didn't even give our
shouts out to our our engineer and over the on
the other side of the world.
Speaker 4 (41:54):
You know, sorry, Jerry us, I'll know you some cookies the.
Speaker 3 (42:04):
Last flavor, Oh my god.
Speaker 6 (42:14):
Brother saying I will you some cookies.
Speaker 5 (42:22):
In you my address. I want some of those cookies
beause you've been talking about them.
Speaker 4 (42:26):
Everything you cookies, tell y'all as this up ellis say,
that's from God, that's.
Speaker 10 (42:45):
The Lord's doing, and it's mark my goodness, I.
Speaker 3 (42:58):
Mean laughing now just like those guys. Oh my goodness.
So that's that That means that you're gonna be making
them cookies pretty soon.
Speaker 4 (43:10):
Bro right, I'm pretty sure, I know.
Speaker 3 (43:14):
Right, bring them, bring them.
Speaker 5 (43:16):
In, Roger brings the grill out. Just bring a whole bunch.
Speaker 3 (43:19):
Of them cookies.
Speaker 4 (43:23):
Yes, I'm interested. I want some now, you know, Roder,
you know there's a sona Cookies in Las Vegas.
Speaker 3 (43:34):
Okay, oh my godness, all right, but but are they
are they like the seven cookies that you've been talking about.
Speaker 4 (43:44):
Yeah, I'm telling yes, because when you when you bite
into them, they still more. Oh hi, y'all, y'all, Well,
(44:07):
I know I'm off my rocker, but that's okay.
Speaker 6 (44:11):
But reason why I was sitting there, bro, because you.
Speaker 3 (44:19):
Go to different areas. You know how, there's McDonald's in
almost every city, right, every country, right, Okay, you go
to Vegas, like you said, Okay, and there's some of
the cookies in Vegas, you said, bro. And like you said,
(44:43):
there's in some and some. Man the cookies in the
city that you are are in. Okay. So basically I'm noticing, Okay,
what's the the little small burghers that they have with
the white castle? White castle? Okay, every white castle. They
(45:05):
say that they're supposed to be the same. Okay, all right, okay,
but they're they're different franchises. And this I'm just telling
you from a chef view, okay. So basically, some white
castles are not the same from the white castles. And
(45:26):
from the west coast to the east coast. I can
go on the strip, I can go on the stop.
There's totally different too, That's what I'm saying. So I
hope that these cookies are better.
Speaker 4 (45:45):
Ah, you won't be, I'll tell you that much.
Speaker 5 (45:54):
I'm gonna tell you this.
Speaker 3 (45:56):
I am a full critic, y'all. I am a fool critic.
So I will rape you.
Speaker 5 (46:07):
Just tell me with an honor, mom, because.
Speaker 6 (46:14):
And I wouldn't bring.
Speaker 3 (46:15):
Out you out I would I would rape you, and
I would bring out the the little piece of paper
or my mind and let you know, look, this is
I look at from the back of the kitchen to
the front of the kitchen. At the front of the
kitchen is not handling it like it's supposed to. That's
(46:37):
a dean.
Speaker 10 (46:39):
If the waitress don't show up, like last week I
had a bad waitress, I was like, oh my goodness.
Speaker 3 (46:47):
That's a dean.
Speaker 6 (46:49):
I told.
Speaker 3 (46:51):
I told him, I told her, I said, who's your manager?
I asked one of the waitresses, is who's your manager?
The waitress the other way just said the waitress. The
manager is in the back, she's back to working.
Speaker 6 (47:05):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (47:06):
I'm like, okay, if the manager's working, why is not
this waitress that is supposed to be the waitress to us?
Why she's not handling our table. He's supposed to be
at least two or three or four times to that table,
(47:28):
otherwise you're not eve getting gonna get nothing. And what
Las Vegas is basically based off the based off the tips.
Did you know that right?
Speaker 4 (47:38):
Yeah? All kinds of tips. A sis, you live in Atlanta,
right the A I am? Okay, so good news. Okay.
There is an Insoma Cookies in Atlanta off Spring Street Northwest,
(48:07):
thirty Spring Street Northwest.
Speaker 3 (48:09):
That's the one.
Speaker 5 (48:11):
Did you look it up?
Speaker 4 (48:14):
I sure did, Yes, I did, Yes, I did. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 5 (48:22):
I'm gonna have my cookies by next Tuesday when we
come on here, and I'm gonna give you my.
Speaker 4 (48:27):
Opinion on these cookies, because I mean, you are going,
oh my god, open in the morning.
Speaker 6 (48:38):
But I was just open to the breech.
Speaker 4 (48:42):
That's enough to give a praise break right there. And
it's just clos.
Speaker 6 (48:49):
I was out here.
Speaker 4 (48:53):
They're open till three out there where you're at Roder Yes,
good mm yeah, he's helping us.
Speaker 3 (49:07):
How much.
Speaker 4 (49:10):
But uh, we.
Speaker 3 (49:14):
Had a great show tonight. We had a great show tonight.
That's what it's all about. It's all about loving old
one another and and and letting each other show show
the world beloved and laughing laugh is peace, you know that, right?
Speaker 4 (49:37):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (49:38):
Right?
Speaker 3 (49:40):
It helps out a lot. You know, a lot of
people in the world are going through a lot of
stuff between government, government, government shut downs, you name it.
Speaker 4 (49:53):
Am I correct, and you're lying.
Speaker 3 (49:58):
That's what we need. We need to that's what we need.
We need to bring love and enjoy and peace on
this this what uh this podcast, that's what that's what
we all about. Love, peace and joy on this this podcast.
Speaker 4 (50:17):
And speaking of the church, this is the perfect time
that the church needs to be.
Speaker 3 (50:26):
Out.
Speaker 4 (50:27):
This is the time where church needs to be out
and open beyond the walls m because there's this is
what we call famine and spiritual warfare, where what we're
literally looking at not just spiritually, but we're looking at
(50:47):
it physically in a physical eye.
Speaker 3 (50:52):
That's right, that's right, that's true. It's true. But as
we go to quote that's just as we go to
close the show. But that's a blessing what you just said.
But as we close the show, because we're not saying
that we got to get off the show. But I
know there's another show coming on. But well, say something positive?
(51:24):
You got me, ken, Yeah, say something positive to this
world before we we uh leave this Uh this podcast.
Speaker 5 (51:36):
Can say something positive. I would say, if you see
someone that.
Speaker 3 (51:42):
Is in need, bless them.
Speaker 5 (51:46):
If you see someone that is in need, bless them. Man.
Speaker 3 (51:52):
Amen. But as we uh just close the show, We're
gonna say peace.
Speaker 4 (52:03):
To Chick.
Speaker 5 (52:10):
It's still make time.
