Speaker 4 (00:31):
This show is going to be an amazing show on tonight.
I'm really excited on tonight because this young lady that
has been all over the world. Well, when I'm talking
about all over the world, she's little been all over
the world preaching the gospel.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Her name is.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
On the Brown aka Gosh Fore. Let's welcome Gosh Forward.
What's going on.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
How's everybody doing?

Speaker 5 (01:08):
Pretty good?

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Pretty good?

Speaker 3 (01:10):
In you?

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Well, I'm very well to God.

Speaker 5 (01:19):
You're done all right?

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Yes, I am.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Awesome, awesome, awesome, boy.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
This show is going to be a pretty amazing show
on the night because I know You've got a lot
of things to talk about. Because you can preach that word,
you can speak that word, you can give that word
and knowledge spoken word. Everything you name it, you can,

(01:46):
you can do it.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Well to God be the glory. I thank God for
every gift that he has given me. And I'll give
it back to him every single time and hope that
someone will want to come to Christ.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Amen. That's the man thing.

Speaker 6 (02:02):
Yeah, that's the main thing, is people coming to Christ.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Amen to that. Amen to that. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
So before we get into the conversation, I support tell
the world about yourself.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
So, yeah, my name is Anna Brown, aka God's Poet.
I got the name because no one actually could pronounce
my name correctly and because I was one of the
top spoken word artists in Vegas. Spiritually, that is, they
start calling the God's Poet, and so that's how that
the moniker God's Poets because no one could actually say

(02:42):
my first name. And then I kind of just like, okay, guy,
I am your poet. So that name kind of stuck
with me. I've been doing poetry since I've been in
third grade, and I've been performing it since I've watched
the young lady her name you go by the name
of Bliss in Las Vegas, and she really inspired me,

(03:03):
and she did a poem called if You're a Poet,
and so after seeing her do that, I'm like, man,
I would love to just be able to speak and
perform or minister just like that. And so I just
began to practice, and I asked God to just kind
of show me how to be able to utter the

(03:23):
words out so that people can fully understand and feel
the poetry. I always love music as well, so I
began to write music and I released my first album
in twenty fifteen, and I've been doing music in poetry
ever since.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
That's an awesome lady, Well you need to do another album,
hello Jesus.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
I'm actually going an album right now. I've gone through
a greater storm through the last year and do all
of that just asking God, well, God, you know what
can you give me out of this storm? And so
the next album is actually I'm praying and hoping to
release it next year around Valentine's Day and it will

(04:19):
be called Restoration. So y'all look forward to the new
album coming up that guy gave me.

Speaker 6 (04:27):
So, is there any platforms we can actually, you know,
look for your music on.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
So I'm on Spotify as of right now, you can,
and I'm also on sound I mean found cloud, I'm sorry,
and YouTube. You can find me on YouTube as well,
So yeah, you can pretty much. If you google g
O d z p O e T you pretty much

(04:55):
can find music I feature with some artists. Well I'm
on some of their platforms as well. So if you
google my name, you definitely can find all of my music.

Speaker 6 (05:07):
Oh yeah, oh yes, and thank you God's poet. Uh anyways,
God's poet. Oh anyway.

Speaker 7 (05:15):
So so what where, Like does music and ministry runs
deep in the family or.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
It just you know, it just found you one day
and just latched on to you.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Well, so, as far as I know, I was, I
was adopted at a young age, sold into adoption at
a young age. My biological mother was on drugs and
from what I know, like people used to tell me,
like on the streets, they used to tell me that
she would be singing, going on the streets singing, and

(05:59):
she had a really good voice. And found out later
on that she actually did poetry. But I do believe
that my gift is you know, it just comes from God.
Like I believe that God just gave me that part
of my voice. And I always wanted to to. I
used to battle rap when I was younger, and when

(06:22):
I was in the streets, I battle rap, and so
I used to gain. I used to be a gag
member and and I battle rapped every I used to
battle rap dudes on purpose because you know, of course
they say females didn't have rap skills back then, so
I purposely would battle dudes, you know. So I just
always loved music. I grew up and singing in the

(06:44):
choir at Pentecostal Temple. I've sung in many groups in
Las Vegas. I also was a part of a group
after the riots. Fanny Mitchell, who is also uh Neil's auntie.
She put together a group called kfas Kids for a
Better Society, and I was one of the original members

(07:06):
of that group where they developed us and showed us
how to perform on stages and helped us with our
writing development and things like that. So shout out to
Fanny Mitchell, who as a young girl, she saw a
good writer in me and she would have me write
and just write and write. I remember one time she

(07:28):
gave me like told me to write twenty five poems
and just said, I don't care what the topic is,
I just need twenty five poems in the next couple
of days. And I literally sat and wrote twenty five poems.
And I didn't know what she was doing with those poems,
but found out later she entered them into a contest,

(07:49):
and three of those twenty five poems were toured all
around the world with the child with the Chicago play Theater,
and so I thank God for that because that had
not been for her. That was my first time being
published as an Arthur and I was sixteen years old
at that time. So I've been published since I've been
sixteen years old. So shout out to Sandy Mitchell and Kfabs.

Speaker 5 (08:13):
Okay, come through, y'all, come on through.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
There's a blessing, a blessing.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
So you said you was going to pet was with
the late Bishop, Well, well.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Yeah, Bishop web I called him my papa of course.
He you know, adopted a lot of kids, and since
I was adopted and I didn't have a father figure,
he basically was that father to me as a young girl.
So he he always made sure I did good with
my grades and I was doing that in school. When
I got in trouble, he was, you know, step in

(08:48):
and he just he never treated me any different. He
treated me like I was one of his and so
I thank God for just him being in my life.
He was a strict but fun person to be around.
You know. He really loved the youth, and he did
a lot with the youth back in those days, and
I just thank God for that. That was the days

(09:10):
when you know, they you know, they prayed over the
youth and they would have a lot of things going on.
We would go like to Mount Charleston and you know,
they did youth events, a lot of youth events. And
it wasn't just our church, it was a collective of
the all the churches in Las Vegas. So you know,
I just remember those good days where you know, you
were able to come together and be unified as a

(09:31):
collective group of youth, and we all poured into each
other even during that time. So yeah, shout out to
Pentecostal Temple. A lot of my roots and and and
being a youth youth leader and eventually youth pastor I became.
So a lot of that I got from being at
Pentecostal Temple, growing up and learning, you know, at Pentecostal Temple.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
So Bishop Webb was no joke. Bishop Webb. I loved
me some. Bishop Webb. He was one of the ones
that spoken to my life back in the days, like
as a child, all the June communications, they was mostly
done at either Pentecostal Temple or Nucleus Plaza. And Bishop

(10:20):
Weber was the man you know what I'm talking about.
He was the one running things. He was an ecclesiastic
bishop of the state.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
And yes he was handling things, and he was strategically
handled things.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
He was not just you know, you know, making sure
that he was just the only one doing it. He
was making sure everyone had a piece of of the situation.
He was not just shining for himself. He was letting
everyone that was under him, like all the superintendents, all

(11:05):
of the the.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
Panel, all all for his board.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
You know, I had a piece of the situation, you know,
just like Bishop Bronson right now.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
I love me some Bishop Bronson. Now Bronson.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
Over there, Uh, anyone that's listening to his live right now,
I'm asking you guys to say, uh, say a prayer
for our bishop, Bishop Bronson.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
I love me some Bishop Bronson.

Speaker 4 (11:41):
Like I was telling you, he spoke to us.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
He spoke words. He's spoken words.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
Into my life like Bishop web did before and to
this day right now, he's still doing the same thing.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
You know, amen.

Speaker 6 (11:59):
But it seems like the legacy of Nevada jurisdiction, doesn't
you know, it's ongoing.

Speaker 5 (12:09):
I remember my I remember my.

Speaker 6 (12:11):
First introduction to the jurisdiction was when I met David
Blakeley and Bishop Hall at that time. So I'm just
like just sitting back and hearing and listening to the
rich history of Nevada Jurisdiction. It's I'm like, Wow, they

(12:36):
had y'all had all that rolling in Nevada, like Vegas.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
I'm like, whoa back in those days. Back in those days,
Las Vegas was nothing such truth.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
I mean, a lot of people kind of sleep on
you know, the gifting of what Las Vegas has to offer.
I think, in any state, or any jurisdiction, end or
how whatever your upbringing was, just remaining humble is the key,
you know. So we have a lot of greats coming

(13:13):
out of Las Vegas, you know, but they still remain humble.
And so that's just the thing I think. You know,
when people found out, oh my gosh, she does poetry,
Oh my god, she raps, like, people were so shocked
because of who I was as a kid, you know,
and so to see me now and just to see
the things that I do, you know, they're just kind

(13:35):
of like, Okay, she's different, you know, that that shy
little girl who really you know, I kind of got
in trouble a lot as a kid, but just growing
out of the you know, being in trouble a lot
to really allowing God to be God in my life.
And I just thank God for each and every person,
Like even the pastor at Centecostal Temple now pastor of

(14:00):
Web Great Web, he was, he was one of my
youth leaders growing up. He was actually the usherboard junior
Usherboard President. And so I definitely, you know a lot
of major people all had a play in me growing
up as a young person. You know how they poured

(14:21):
into the youth as a young person. And again, like
I said, for every individual that poured into my life
literally you know, showed me that, you know how I
am now even as a when I do youth events
or in the community over the youth and things like that.
So I've been heavily evolved with the community and the
youth for over over fifteen sixteen years. And so I

(14:44):
just thank God for just the instilling in me. So
it just allowed me to be a better person, you know,
and even now just where I am now, even in
the church I am, I'm in now shout out to
grow and go. Pastor Malachi Williams and Lady Ashley Williams,
who is my now pastor and first lady. I thank

(15:05):
God for them because even coming from those roots just
to even help, God has given them a vision on
how to even show me more and and instill more
in me. As I continue to grow and as I
continue to go just evolving, I thank God for them
as well. You know, we never get enough. You never

(15:28):
get enough. I think people you can never say I've
been there, I've arrived. You always have room to grow,
you always have room to learn. And even at the
age that I am now and even at the process
of where I'm going, I just thank God for people
that God places in my life to continue to instill growth.
And it's just an amazing, amazing thing. So I thank

(15:50):
God for them.

Speaker 4 (15:53):
Yeah, speaking of that, congratulations to doctor Webb. He just
had a uh pastoral anniversary like two weeks ago, and.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
I wasn't able to make it.

Speaker 4 (16:07):
But my the pastor that I play for, my pastor
right now, Pastor Kelly, he went in went there for
me and and I'm I'm very glad that.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
I'm in the Fellowship district with.

Speaker 4 (16:25):
UH pastor Pastor Web, Pastor Kelly, and over here my
UH pastor Superintendent Hall Administrative a Superintendent Hall.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
He's been. They all these pastors I'm speaking to you about.
They They literally I've been growing up with these pastors.
So it's not like I don't know of them. I
know them, like.

Speaker 4 (16:58):
Just like I know you, just like I know my
co hosts.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
The world don't know Pastor Web on their anniversary.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
That's right, Pastor Well, I's going.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
To be a pastor and have people up under you.
That and if being a good leader. You know I
love good leaders, you know.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
Yeah, yeah, Pastor Kelly and the pastor of Powerhouse UH
Christian Church. He's the amazing pastor I've been. You can
go on my my face Facebook page and listen to
how you speak. I just want to just speaking, not

(17:44):
speak to him, but listen to him and listen to
his word. On last Saturday, last Sunday. Basically, what I'm
trying to say is you got to be a person
of your word. Just not say yes, I'm gonna be
there and don't know that's not a good sight to see.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Speaking anniversaries my pastors, having having our first year anniversary
upcoming coming up next in November, and I'm so so excited.
I've been a part of this church since day one,
and when God brought me to Arizona, it was just,

(18:24):
you know, I remember just going back and forth. I
was traveling back and forth from Las Vegas to Arizona,
and I just thank God that he planted me here
with Grow and Go and when they they're getting ready
to celebrate their first year, and I'm just I'm so excited,
you know, just to to get past that first year,

(18:44):
you know, when some people be like, well are they
gonna make it? Are they going to still be? You know,
just to be I'm just excited to be a part
of Growing Go. And as they continue on growing and going,
just shout out to them just and everyone involved did
Grow and Go church. The fellowship is awesome. I just
think a good part about this.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
But that's what, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
The good part about that you you you with them
at the ground level and the foundation.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
That's a good part.

Speaker 4 (19:19):
That's a good part about that you right there with.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
Them at the foundation of the situation.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
To go to be the glory to God, be the glory.

Speaker 4 (19:31):
Yes, well you may not know, but I know she knows.
This has been my best seat for quite some time. Anywhere, okay,
anywhere that I needs to go, she's going to be there.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Did you know that.

Speaker 6 (19:51):
I picked that up when when we did the drum clinic.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
He's doing that's my pain in the butt, that's my
pain in the wood. He's gonna call me and shoot
me out. He don't call me and make sure I'm
all right. And I thank God for that. You don't
have many people that really do that. So I thank
God for you, Besty Roderick bestie painted the butt sometimes.

(20:21):
But it's okay, you know, it's good to have pain
in the butt sometimes, you know, be lined up, you know,
keep you, keep you in line, keep me going where
you need to be, you know. So it's okay every now.
I mean it's good. I really know, I seriously, it's
really good to have someone that really care, that you know,
really check on you, you know, And I thank God

(20:42):
for each and every person, especially through this last year.
You know, I don't know if you know many of
them that do.

Speaker 5 (20:48):
Know.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
My father passed away a year ago, and my brother
passed away a month after. My oldest brother passed away
a month after my father and then I went through
a separation, says, and then you know, just losing my
baby brother a few weeks ago. You know, it's just
been a process. And you know, I just thank God
for each and every person that has literally been pouring

(21:10):
into me or you know, speaking life into me. I
thank God for that that's just going through that like
even just helps me, you know, even more know that
God that you have people that you really do have
in my life that's planted and and and really love me,
you know, to pour into me and not trying to

(21:33):
stir me, you know, literally sharpening and uplifting. So I
just thank God for each and every person that in
this last year that God is just you know. And
then and then there were some people God had to say, look,
I need to separate you. And I thank God even
for the separation, you know, because you know, sometimes in
your growth process, you know, we don't recognize in your

(21:55):
sometimes in your growth process, there there may be times
where God says, look that season is done, that that
time is up. I need you to move forward because
there's some building that I have to do within you.
So just with the building that God had to do
within me, there were some people that I had to
separate from and you know, and I didn't even I

(22:18):
don't think I even like, it didn't even bother me
because it was just like, Okay, God, I'm ready. I'm
ready for what you have for me. So I was
more excited about the elevation of what God was doing,
and it's still doing. I was so excited about that,
not rushing the process, but truly trusting the entire process.
It's been a faith move. It's been a faith move

(22:39):
since last year. Literally it's been a complete faith move.
And I thank God for just the standing on faith.
I thank God for just loving me and showing me that, look,
I will never leave you nor forsake you. He's been
with me this entire time. He has never left me.
And so I just thank God. I thank God for
the process, thank God for the process.

Speaker 5 (23:04):
I'm a raised offer on this one.

Speaker 6 (23:06):
Yeah, this is this is this is some good This
is some good talk right here.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
Yes, yes, real talk.

Speaker 6 (23:17):
This is this is real good talk, right like just
sitting and just talking about the great things and talking
about the process and going.

Speaker 5 (23:28):
Through the process.

Speaker 6 (23:30):
You know, nowadays that's a lost art because everybody doesn't
want to go through the process of changes and everybody,
everybody wants the instant now.

Speaker 5 (23:47):
They don't want to, they don't you know.

Speaker 6 (23:50):
It's like going through the process to get your blessing.
It's like preparing a soulfuld dinner.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 5 (24:00):
Basic, like if you really think.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
About it away, you know, like that big preparation.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
It takes preparation. It takes preparation. You just you just can't.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
Put it in the oven without preparation, right right. It
needs a marapi. You know what the marrapis is, right, Yeah,
the amerapi is that like say, for instance, it takes
the ingredients, so you gotta have the ingredients in order
to stir it up. If you don't have the ingredients

(24:39):
to stir it up, it's not gonna make it to
the oven.

Speaker 5 (24:44):
It's really not. It won't taste right, it won't. It won't.
It won't taste right.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
Well, I'm big, anybody knows me. I'm real big on food.
Like I'm real big on and how it come out
if you don't look. It's all in love, you know,
And I just thank God for the love that he has,
that he's continuing, you know, continuing to take his time.
That that's what when you do that that food, when

(25:13):
you take your time and you make sure that you
don't overdo it and you don't underdo it, but you
take your time to make sure that it comes in
out perfection. And I don't mean perfection that some people
will think like, oh, it's without bliemings. Well, I mean
when I'm talking about God's perfection is the maturing process
of what we of what He's doing in my life,

(25:33):
the maturing, and so I just thank God for the perfecting.
And you know, some people will will will look at
you and your walk and say, oh, you think you better?
Oh you, yep, I'm getting better every single day, you know.
I definitely, Oh you so heavily value ain't no earthly
good Yep. I look towards the hills for which comes
my health because my health comes from the Lord. So

(25:55):
look well, you know, so definitely I strive every single day.
This walk is personal. But and this walk is a lifestyle.
It's not no on Sunday in a building on Saturday
in a building. This is an everyday thing for me.
So I thank God for the process again, for the slow,

(26:17):
the taking time to really develop into the really nourishing
the process.

Speaker 6 (26:24):
So yeah, hey, keep going.

Speaker 5 (26:28):
I'm enjoying this. Yes, Lord, I hear you talking. Now,
come come on.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
That's right. You got me all the glory to God,
the glorious. Yes, well, just allow him, allow him to be,
to be in the process. You know, you you you know,
I really it took my pastor, my pastor again, shout
out to Pastor Malekai Williams, I'm going to go. He

(26:59):
basically I just understood and shout out to Pastor Tamor Miles.
When I first got to Arizona, I know when God
brought me here it was for restoration. When I got here,
my pastor said I need you to my pastor and
his wife and first Lady Ashley, said I need you
to rest. Now. In my head, I thought resting was sleep.

(27:24):
I needed to catch up on sleep. But it was
so much going on. It was like, okay, God, I
still got to get out here. I still gotta work,
I still got to pay the bills, I still got
to make sure I'm doing But he kept saying rest.
But I never really I thought I was smart because
I thought I knew what he meant when he said rest,
and he was just literally like, Okay, I need you

(27:45):
to rest. I need you to pray about what rest is.
And Pastor Tamera Miles she had a conference, a gathering,
I don't want to say conference, it was a gathering.
And then the gathering she talked about rest and there
was a few women in there, and the woman she
talked about the pulling of how God would just separate

(28:08):
you and how God would just take you to a
place where you can rest in Him. And then it's dawn,
and God gave me the reason. I can't even give
you the restoration because in order if you break that
word up, that word to restore. I want to restore
you to get to the restoration. But in order to

(28:30):
restore you to get to the restoration, I need you
to rest.

Speaker 5 (28:34):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
When God broke that thing down, when I tell you,
when God broke the thing down for me, I said,
I just started crying. And I don't know if people
thought I was crying because it was like Okay, got you. No,
it was so like okay, God, thank you, thank you
for showing me what I needed. You know, the rest
the rest to restore to get to restoration, Italy showing

(29:01):
me this is the this is the steps I need
you to take because of this. I'm going to give
you this to get to this. So I said, okay, God,
thank you, because I need to rest in you. It's
not about that sleep, but resting you. And what is
resting you is resting you is more the prayer. Resting

(29:23):
you is in my word, resting you is more in
tune with listening to what you're saying to me.

Speaker 4 (29:35):
Wow, you know what the you're part of business usually
just all in my uh conversation on to this morning.
This afternoon, I was just talking to like, I was
just giving shots out to the two pastors that's in
my life, Pastor Trade and Pastor Kelly. I talked to

(29:57):
Pastor Trade today and guess what there's talk was to
us about what was restoration. He's he's talking about love
and restoration and he really had his his church and
his organization is not really his church. He said, I

(30:21):
am the under shepherd. I'm not the pastor. I'm the
under shepherd. I'm like, Lord, this is what I need
to hear.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
He's just talking about restoration, restoration, this, love, this love this.

Speaker 4 (30:35):
I'm like, I said, Pastor, do you know what the
name of the organization is? A God bade production's global,
and all he could do was his sick as the
because a god may means love. Did you get that

(30:59):
or did it?

Speaker 5 (30:59):
Did it over your head?

Speaker 2 (31:01):
I got it?

Speaker 4 (31:03):
I was like wow, and I'm like, my goodness, and
now here hear my look on my sister, she's talking
about restoration. Oh my goodness. How many times I'm gonna
hear this. I'm loving every bit of it and I'm
eating it and I'm taking it in too.

Speaker 5 (31:21):
And joy and joy.

Speaker 6 (31:24):
I'm just I'm just taking mental notes. I'm just soaking
it all in.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 4 (31:34):
Now, now now we know since that the it's not
all about on the poetry, we know that it's not
all about this. We know it's all about all about
not about that. But you've got a lot of gifts

(31:55):
that you haven't haven't even.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
Hit the surface with.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
You haven't the surface with everybody telling me the jack
of all trades, you can you can.

Speaker 4 (32:12):
You can decorate a building with so many colors, and
it's it's like, who did this?

Speaker 2 (32:25):
Yeah, Well, I do a loon arts. I do what
I'm literally I call my I'm gonna say I'm the
d I Well, I am a d why person like
I'm the type of person that if I don't if
I don't know how to do it, I'm gonna figure
out how to do it. I just have a love
for art. I have a love for art. I have
a love to create, and I just, you know, my

(32:50):
eyes is always trying to recreate something. My hands is
always going and always moving, and so I just developed,
you know, take took up on a lot of hobbies
that turn into business that turned you know, so I croche,
I sew, I uh decorate, man, I just so many things.

(33:12):
I refurbished anything that literally I put my hands on.
God has given me that gift into to do. And
I just thank God for that because you know that
the word that you know, he gave some one, he
gave some many more than one. So to thank God
for the more than one, because it's literally I also

(33:34):
do hair. I'm also an advanced licensed esthetician, so I'm
a medical assistant, a certified medical assistant. Like I just
thank God for every gift, every single gift. But I
really just thank God for the just allowing me to
be able to to just speak speak his word, to

(33:56):
to be able to just talk to His people. Give
my testimony That's the best gift I can say, like
just really being able to talk to people about who
God is and and prayer that one day someone would
just say, you know what, I heard your testimony and

(34:17):
I really want to give my life to Christ. What
must you know to go to God and say what
must I do to be saved? Based on listening to
my testimony? I just thank God for That's the That's
what it's all about for me. Like, you know, I
don't care how many balloons I put up. I don't
care how many heads I do. When I do hair,

(34:39):
I talk about Jesus. When I put up balloons, I'm
talking about Jesus. You know. When I do a facial,
I'm talking about Jesus. So when I speak anyway, it's
about Jesus. It's really about drawing someone to Him, even
through the gifts, even through the gifts. So I just
thank God, you know, I really truly thank God for

(34:59):
the oppor tunity to have another chance, because it shouldn't
be me, but he said it's gonna be you, And
I thank God that he gave me that chance, another
opportunity of life to be able to just go out
there and glorify him and give my testimony so others
can come to him.

Speaker 6 (35:19):
He said, why not you man? Exactly exactly that why
he said, why not you? Matter of fact, I got
some for you. Come on over here. Usually that's how God,
that's how God works, like, oh, okay, I got something
for you.

Speaker 3 (35:38):
Just for you.

Speaker 6 (35:40):
Well watch your step over here. Let let me matter
of fact, hears some cookies. Yeah, that's right, that's right,
that's right.

Speaker 4 (35:55):
So check this out. For we're gonna go through some
of those songs. We're not gonna listen to them. But
nine on What was you're thinking about when you wrote

(36:16):
that song?

Speaker 2 (36:18):
Nine one one that actually came that was for me first.
So nine one one is basically a correction, a call
out to correction, and just basically saying we do everything else,

(36:40):
we look for everyone else, we want to be everything
else but what God called us to be, and even
going through what we go through, we yet forget who
we need to call on. And so it's it's basically saying, God,
there's an emergency. There's an urgency within the people within,

(37:00):
not with within the building, within the church, the body
of believers. God, we need better leaders. God, we need
better you know when people look at the body, they
have such a tainted view of what the body is,
you know. And and it's because some people who claim

(37:25):
to be a part of the body, claim to be
in Christ, they don't exemplify who Christ is. So that's
given like a tainted view of of of those who
really are out there doing their best every single day
and living the life every single day. You know. I've

(37:48):
heard some people say, oh, well, it's a Ponzi scheme
or it's this, and it's that, like people have given
such a bad reputation to who God is and what
Christ did for the sake of you know. And so
that was really that cry out to God to to

(38:11):
to to correct, to give us the correction and show
us who we really needed to be in the as
the body of believers, you know. So you know, there
are times if you look at if you look at
yourself and you look at the view of your body.
You know, limb, if a limb is broke, God you
fix it. If there's a brain, God you fix it.

(38:32):
What God, if there's an infection going on within, God
you fix it.

Speaker 4 (38:37):
You know.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
So in order to get that, it's like we pick
up our phones, we called Susie, we call Sally May.
Now we call everybody, but who we need to call on?
So that was my somewhere, you know, God, we need
to call someone, Please call ninety one one. It's an
emergency and urgency in my spirit. No tim and sugar

(38:58):
coat the truth, but you need to hear it. So
it's like I can't sugarcoat it no more. I gotta
say where we at and what we're doing, and who
we need to call on. Pick up your phone and
down nine one one. Every time, in any time we should.
You know, the word of God says trust in the
Lord with all your heart, and lean not to your
own understanding, for in all thy ways acknowledge Him and

(39:21):
in safe sometimes it's said in all your ways and
every little bitty thing that we do. And some of
us think that we only need to call on God
when we when we in desperation, know you need to
call on Him and everything, and the good, the bad,
and and different, the ugly, everything you do in life,
you still need to acknowledge Him. And so that was

(39:43):
that was That's what that was for. That's what nine
one one was for. Acknowledge God in every way.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
And this other song that I'm get shouts out to
I just like the beginning of this this woman because
of one of the musicians that's well known all across
the world and in l l A. He's he's on this,

(40:10):
this the beginning of this song. L A keys even
know what I'm talking about?

Speaker 2 (40:17):
No, what wrong you talking about?

Speaker 3 (40:19):
I think it's I think it's l A.

Speaker 4 (40:21):
He said, he's giving the shots out to you, my sister,
and it's not like l A or is somebody else?

Speaker 2 (40:30):
What is the song?

Speaker 4 (40:31):
I guess I got the wrong person, but I don't
know what the name of the song is. He's saying
something about what's up or something like that, this is
my sister.

Speaker 3 (40:40):
We we he's introducing you.

Speaker 4 (40:42):
And before the song, I didn't get the name of
the song, but I.

Speaker 2 (40:48):
Just like, oh, that's that's probably King Gas.

Speaker 3 (40:53):
Okay, yeah, okay, that's that's my gas.

Speaker 2 (40:55):
That's who produces all of my music. Y'all shout out
to the game station studios. I've been bad. Yeah, that's
a little bro right there. Like man, when we started
out in his house and you know, back in twenty fifteen,
we started out in his room and now he has

(41:17):
such an awesome place over there a Felosi Roads in
in La Las Vegas eight nine oh three zero area. Man.
When I say he's doing great things, shout out to
to keing Gas to the gas ration. He's been a
number one supporter and everyone in different empire has always
been a number one supporter of my work. And I

(41:40):
mean we've had our indifferences. And one of my songs
actually on my first album, I remember beautiful when he
produced that album. When he produced that song and he
was like, man's this He just he was like, I
don't know about this song. And I was like, bro,
I gotta put them album. You know, the only one

(42:00):
there with them I got from my album definitely. Do
you know that song is like the number one song
on that entire album.

Speaker 3 (42:08):
Yeah, I have been there. I've been there.

Speaker 4 (42:11):
He's like, excuse me, Bro, I don't think you should
do this.

Speaker 3 (42:15):
I'm like, why not?

Speaker 5 (42:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (42:22):
So I thought I was the only one going through
that system.

Speaker 2 (42:26):
Yeah, hopefully I'll be releasing a new song. I did
have a few different I have one new producer this album.
Will be releasing a single song and the song is
called Lily, and that was produced by Justin the Great
o Man and he works with people like Greevy from

(42:50):
all American and all types of people. He works with
a lot of different artists in the industry, but he
took his time out to work with a gospel artist
like me and with Man it's the song is super dope.
If I can't wait to release it and I can't
wait for you guys to hear it. Man, it's when
I say it both.

Speaker 4 (43:10):
For you two says I gotta love a song that
really catches my ear. I put it on summer. I
pitched this.

Speaker 3 (43:18):
Matter of fact, Uh are you ready for it?

Speaker 2 (43:22):
I'm ready?

Speaker 6 (43:31):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (43:32):
Why are you already?

Speaker 4 (43:33):
Why why do you produce that song when you're talking about.

Speaker 3 (43:40):
The communion, your communion?

Speaker 5 (43:42):
Play?

Speaker 2 (43:44):
Oh that's my girl, Ak the comedian. Shout out to AK. Look,
shout out to AK. Shout out to AK. That's my girl.
Some day one that's my girl. Shout out to AK
to comedian. Now, look, when I first did that, that
was something I needed her on. She's such an awesome

(44:06):
comedian in the community of She's such an awesome comedian man,
and so when I asked her to do it, I
just said, be you know, do your thing, And she
came and she killed it. And man, I just could
every time. I just would replay, replay, replay, replay, just
to hear her talk about the communion play, you know,

(44:27):
and the potato salad. You know, we don't want to
say the potato salad mother, you know, So shout out
to a comedian, ak comedian ak. And she did that.
She did that at one take.

Speaker 3 (44:44):
Sis, sis, the one I just did on your flyer.

Speaker 4 (44:48):
Everybody look at the flyer, Uh, the.

Speaker 2 (44:51):
One I put on was talking about the hair. Yeah,
she definitely did. She did that in one take, one take.
She did it in one take. Well, it was so shocked,
so professional, so humble in her gift. Just she did
that in one take. And man, you know, as a

(45:13):
as a as a gospel artist, you know, even in
the community, like there were certain people in the community
that just you know, even if they you know, didn't
understand completely what I represented, they still, because of I think,
got the relationship that we had, they had my back
to as artists, you know, and so I thank God

(45:34):
for you know, a comedian ak man. Shout out, shout out,
shout out. And also that even my girl China came
in during my time of concert. She came in and
did and did her thing. Like, it's just a lot
of people just flow. Man, It's just a lot of
people that really you know, hung out with me, sharing

(45:56):
Sharon Den like that first album you know was so
awesome DJ Thomas, it was so it was just so
so many artists that really just rock with me during
that time, and they still rock with me, you know.
On this new album. We you know, we're gonna get
Michael the Arc, you know, man, We're gonna get I'm

(46:20):
praying that I can get my pastor hopefully he just
come out of retirement for this album for me and
just do something, you know, just really pour in on
this album. But I'm being very strategic about this album
only because there is party about I'm being strategic about
this album because of what it's representing and and I

(46:43):
want people to know that there is that you can
be restored, that there is restoration after a storm, that
there is restoration after a trial, that there is restoration
after you've gone through what you think is probably the
worst part of your life. There is restoration. But the
only way to restoration is through Christ Jesus. The only
race to restoration is that if you really truly focus

(47:06):
on God and who God is in your life. There
is restoration. You know, I can't do this by myself.
I wouldn't have been able to do this. I probably
would have lost my mind. Matter of fact, it was
at a point that I really thought I was losing
my mind and I just would just kind of like
like people was like, where you at, what you're doing?
Like everybody thought I disappeared, and everybody thought that this, oh,

(47:28):
but this is so much he's going through. Well, yes,
it was a lot I went through, but I had
to get in a place where God could just literally
build me up. And like I said, it was it
was people that He just strategically put in the process
for this process of restoration strategically and I'm just truly
truly grateful for those people that, you know, He used

(47:49):
to help lift me up in this process. And so man,
I just I cannot wait. I cannot wait. You guys
are in for a treat.

Speaker 3 (47:58):
Definitely wait, Mike, I can't wait. I can't wait.

Speaker 4 (48:05):
I'm looking forward to this street but this before the
show is over. But we got some icebreakeruse you're ready
for the ice breaking?

Speaker 3 (48:13):
Sis?

Speaker 2 (48:15):
What's the icebreaker? The game go ahead.

Speaker 3 (48:20):
It's called hot sauce.

Speaker 2 (48:21):
Come, oh lord, hot saw hot sauce. Okay, I'll try
do my best.

Speaker 4 (48:32):

give us the first thing that comes to mind. Okay,
all right, all right, I'm gonna give you five, and
then my co host is gonna give you five.

Speaker 3 (48:50):

Speaker 2 (48:53):

Speaker 3 (48:56):
My first one is gonna be song.

Speaker 2 (49:51):
Uh job, medical assistant hmm.

Speaker 3 (50:00):
This presence, repeat it his presence like God's presence.

Speaker 2 (50:15):
That's what I said.

Speaker 3 (50:17):
I love it, I love it. Loyalty, loyalty.

Speaker 2 (50:29):
Mm mm hmmm.

Speaker 3 (50:32):
That's okay, okay, I joke A joke.

Speaker 2 (50:39):
Um a joke, mm hmmm, funny.

Speaker 3 (50:49):
All right, what's your what's your what's your words?

Speaker 5 (50:52):

Speaker 6 (50:57):
Ministry Okah, youth, Okay, season, summer, I love summer, Thank

Speaker 5 (52:22):

Speaker 3 (52:24):

Speaker 4 (52:26):
I love this show. This, This was a dynamic show.
But Lord, Holly Louisa, I was not expecting this. Like
my sister always said, the show was epic.

Speaker 3 (52:39):
I got that from her. Ain't that right?

Speaker 2 (52:42):
That's right, got category unexpected in Christ.

Speaker 3 (52:48):
That's right. I love it.

Speaker 5 (52:49):
I love it.

Speaker 4 (52:50):
But uh, before before I know you would ask us
to pay for this, But before, before we end this show,
give us something positive and then give us some poetry.

Speaker 3 (53:05):
If you can.

Speaker 2 (53:07):
Always stand on God's words, trust in God with all
your heart, don't need to your own understanding. I used
to think that I could make it on my own
then sometimes getting fed up with the fact of being alone.
Seemed like the only time I fell on my knees
is when things went wrong, walking around with weight on
my shoulders to the point where it brought me down

(53:29):
when situations came about Instead of talking it out, I
acted like a clown, and when others walk with a smile,
I walked around with the frown. And since I was
on this knee, myself and our trip tinally hurt everyone
else and only did what I needed to see the
real is y'all, I was only hurting me. You see.
Sometimes my so called conversation turned into God's up too

(53:51):
busy worried about what was going on in someone else's life,
knowing that I needed to give my own life right.
Seemed like I used more energy putting up fights. Thought
I needed a man, but for real, I just wanted
to be someone's wife. See. I can keep for real
with y'all because I have looked in the mirror at
myself and I saw what I didn't want to be.
But even looking through my history, God took a negative

(54:13):
and made a positive, letting me know that I am
somebody with a purpose, with the gift. So no longer
sitting down, I stand. I stand when I am talked
about a bat too. I stand in situations going through,
I stand through the heartache and pain. I stand because
with God I know I have everything to gain. I
stand no longer walking with a frown. I don't even

(54:35):
have time for ignorance. I stand because God is so
good that I am stronger. Strive me more to be wiser,
ready to lift my hands higher and higher and higher. Lord,
I thank you for molding me and yet still holding me.
I know now that I can't make it on my own.
You see, man can do nothing for me. For with
you God, I am never alone. You are my strength,

(54:56):
my confidant, my friend. It is not about me, Lord,
It's all about you and for you. I S t
A N D stand.

Speaker 5 (55:09):
A man.

Speaker 3 (55:11):
Now check it out.
