the Swift sauce for you musicians.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
Matters podcast live right.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Here seven pm Specific Standard time, nine pm Central Standard time,

Positive Power twenty one Christian Media.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
L let's go and always remember there is hope.
Speaker 4 (00:33):
We're gonna have a dynamic children tonight.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
This is really going to my heart.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
Basically, this young man that has been in my life
for quite some time, and I'm very excited to have
them this show on tonight.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
What's going on? For hosts to home, I just would rehearse,
so you're don't all right? Otherwise I'm doing okay. You know,
I must say I was on a gig and I
(01:12):
would have to say I was very very disturbed. Why
is that while I was on a gig. Well, you know,
when you deal with musicians that all they know is church,
and when you walk in a building, it seems that
(01:38):
they are, as some of my friends say, intimidated by you,
even though they could play better than you. Wow. So
and you know, just just the level of disrespects on
a high when it comes to these musicians. It's like
(02:02):
there's a throne that they're only going to, which we
really don't have no throne to grab for real.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
That's understandable. The good part about this ship this show
tonight is we're gonna be talking about that tonight. So
let's welcome my guest, Darnell Parks. What's going on, Darnell?
Speaker 3 (02:24):
What are the Parks not in the house right now? Brothers?
Speaker 4 (02:29):
Okay, that's understandable. So it's understandable. So but let's just
just going with the flow. So the situation is we're
gonna we're gonna definitely deal with that daily as a musician,
you know that, right, right, So basically you gotta just
(02:53):
brush it off the shoulders and move with the flow.
Some days ago I felt like that, you know, like
everything was just hitting me, hitting me, and just hitting me,
just hitting me all of a sudden, and it's like,
why what did I do to deserve this situation or
(03:18):
this issue? What did I do to deserve that? How
do I do? How do I maintain that this issue,
or how do I maintain that smile face that we're
supposed to keep among our fellow brothers and sisters.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
Right, you basically have to go with the flow basically,
and every day is not. It's not an easy tide
every day. It's true.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
That that's true. That's true. That's true.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
They wasn't lying, past us, wasn't lying. Musicians wasn't lying.
The higher up you go, the higher the demons, the
stronger the demons. You know, you have to deal with
strong like strong attitudes, you know, strong, strong everything, disrespect,
(04:24):
you know. And the more I the more I've learned,
the higher I climb up the ladder, I'm going to
be faced with so many obstacles dealing with just not
just musicians, but people who really don't have no regards
(04:49):
for you. But you have to do everything to protect yourself.
And that's why I'm gonna do it so so so so,
mister Parks, let's asked this, you know, with you, with
you being a musician and songwriter, producer, like, how how
(05:11):
do you deal with, you know, the pressure of climbing
the ladder as an accomplished musician.
Speaker 4 (05:23):
If he was in the queue. But he's not in
the queue today. So but the way I will deal
with it, climbing the letter, I will have just like
I was telling you, I would just accept it and
roll with it reason why, because they're gonna be needing
you in the future. They need in the future, They're
(05:50):
gonna need you in the future. Basically, so say say,
for instance, if you're not there or if you do
you're doing what God is telling you to do, If
you're doing and what He is manifesting for you to do, can't.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
Nobody say nothing to you?
Speaker 4 (06:08):
Basically, Okay, we all, like we were talking about this before,
we was talking about I think it was like four
or five weeks ago, living in the flesh. If you're
living in the flesh. If you're living in the flesh.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
How you gonna die daily or be impossible to die daily?
Because people are caught up and self Mabel is more
fleshly within itself. You know, it comes with splash. Uh, well,
(06:54):
I can't say a splash, but it comes with a
dose of pride the communs where does a envy? Greed?
You know, malice, no jealousy. Yeah, it's it's very.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
It can hit you. It really hits you, like what
I'm saying. It can hit you.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
It hits you like.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
Where you don't even notice that it hits you. Like
I said before, it basically well touch you and you
don't even know this shit right while you've been a
(07:53):
musician that you're plan for a different quiet there's different organizations.
You know, people are looking at you. They're gonna wonder
how you're gonna accept it, Like, how are you going
to handle this this situation? Yes, is he strong enough
(08:21):
for this? That's basically where it is. Yes, I know
I'm going to talk about daily because of what God.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Has had put in my my possession, like.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
Our organization that we we're going be running the podcast,
the different platforms that God has given us. He's he's
looking at us. He's looking at us. If he's looking
at us, he's basically looking at us like you are
(09:04):
that person you can handle this, this situation. I wouldn't
have put you there if you couldn't.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
Have it every true.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
You understand. Yes, Satan is like a royal lion and
he's out there to kill, still and destroy. I'm just
speaking of the word of God. It's taking Satan is
out there like a royal lighton and he is out
there to steal and to kill and destroy our ministries.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
And also, you know it says in the Bible you
have to be sober mm hm and and be very
very vigilant. Mm hmm, you know, like right, Like I
ran to this same obstacle on three different occasions, and
(10:07):
I must say I wasn't vigilant and I wasn't sober
because I assumed, you know, everything was okay.
Speaker 5 (10:20):
But this time I knew. I knew it wasn't okay.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
How did you read of that? How did you see that?
Speaker 3 (10:34):
Well? A friend of mine once told me, you got
to read the room before you wake me, before before
you do anything. You you gotta read the room. And
when I walked in, I didn't read the room.
Speaker 4 (10:54):
Okay, the room, that's what.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
That's And that's when it happened. Because I did not
read the room, but I saw I saw arrogance, I
saw pride, I thought egos saying a little bit of everything. Now, well,
(11:27):
this is coming from musicians.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
We see a lot, a lot of stuff, and we
don't even tell you about the situations. We see the
mistakes that people as leaders or ministers of musics or
you know, all the ministries. All the musicians are supposed
(11:50):
to be leaders, you know. So we we see this
and we don't tell you, but God tells you what
to do, way to do it, and how to do it. HM,
be anxious over nothing. I learned that a long time ago.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
It took me.
Speaker 4 (12:20):
It took me over let's let's say fifty years to
learn that be anxious over nothing. I lost a lot
of situations, like I said, I lost a lot of
situations as far as of uh places to stay a
(12:47):
nice sets, you know, like nice trip sets. But God
seem fit for me too, okay, rabbit and running forget
it again. And I told myself and I told my guy,
(13:08):
I said, God, I will never do this off of
the fresh anymore. And I never, like I'm like, I'm
telling you like I told you before, well, when we
had the session before. Every time that I get on
(13:30):
a set or or or the drums or whatever, I
prayed before I get on that set. Because you're ministered
to a lot of people, and when you're ministering to
a lot of people, those certain spirits or whatever can
(13:51):
flow back on you if you're not ready for it exactly.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
And those spirits, you know, are are seven times seventy
seven times stronger than ever.
Speaker 4 (14:08):
Because you're definitely right about that.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
It's it's it's strong. It's like if anyone has ever
dealt with strongholds. That's like having a ton of bricks
in your lap and not being able to move. You
try to, you try to maneuver with these bricks in
(14:36):
your lap, but you can't. You don't go, you don't
get nowhere further because you have you have strongholds of
bricks holding you down. That's how I view strongholds mm hm.
And you know, and like you say, your flesh has
(14:58):
to die eight and doing that daily is not an
easy task.
Speaker 4 (15:07):
No, it's not, it's not.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
It's it's really not an easy task. You got. Musicians
are caught up in scandals every day in different cities.
Mm hmm. Every day in different cities. You know, somebody,
some musician or some well known musician has been caught
(15:32):
slipping or got caught red handed. You know, whether the
case may be. You know, but like you said, if
if you don't kill, if you don't kill the flesh daily,
you're you're pretty much putting yourself at risk for anything
(15:58):
that comes it, sir.
Speaker 4 (16:01):
That's a true, true, truly much.
Speaker 3 (16:07):
Being in the spirit of self is risky. It's dangerous.
It's like playing Russian Roulette with Satan himself.
Speaker 4 (16:20):
Mm hmmm, mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
But the end game is you don't win. He won.
He's laughing at you. Why y'all playing the game Russian roulette,
Russian rules. You're right, you're right.
Speaker 4 (16:35):
Yeah, it's scary, it's really scary, and it's really scary
how that that situation is coming out onto us. Basically,
that's basically just not a good feeling. It's not a
really good feeling. It's really not you know.
Speaker 6 (17:00):
Oh, even the Bible, you know, the Bible says, you know,
having a false balance is abomination in guy's eyes.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
You you gotta have. You gotta have balance when it
comes musicians, especially musicians or anybody that's up under the cloth.
You gotta have some sort of balance throwout across the table.
You can't be balanced in one area and be off
(17:38):
balance in another.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
It's true. That's true, so true, and I totally agree
with you on that.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
The reason why I'm saying that because you gotta have,
Like you're saying, you gotta have, you gotta pray. You
gotta knows the Bible at least more than five scriptures, right, they're.
Speaker 7 (18:11):
Backing not that everybody you know quote.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
Yes, yeah, got any word.
Speaker 4 (18:31):
Yes, that's totally totally totally agreement. Yeah, and it's life,
you know, I says in the Bible says, studying thyself
to show thyself approved, going to God approved approve. That
means that takes a lot. I mean in that word approve,
(18:54):
it means it can go anywhere. You can be approved
for a car. You can be approved just too on
the God's eye, sight, being, intitude, the gates of heaven.
(19:15):
You understand, you basically got to be trud for.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
This. You got to be.
Speaker 4 (19:22):
Approved for that. That word means a lot.
Speaker 3 (19:28):
And also declare and decree that things come into existence.
Speaker 4 (19:35):
That's true, that's true.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
You know, That's what the Book of Job says the
twenty second chapter, twenty eighth verse. For the twenty eighth verse,
twenty second chapter, it's one of the two. But you
got also got to declare and decree for things that
(19:59):
I atmosphere and a lot of musicians know they're so
caught up on self facts. You know, they they really
are doing it based off of popularity. But but sad
(20:23):
sad to say, the dreams of the musiciens. They're awesome
in their gifts, don't know, but they're not in the word.
Speaker 4 (20:35):
Sure, I much not here.
Speaker 3 (20:41):
I was wonderful. Okay, if we really want music, if
we ever tell the truth, start with ourselves first. So
I'm gonna come to be the first tell you. I
was one of those musicians that wasn't in the world.
I started playing drum was going to get me into heaven.
(21:02):
I thought, you know, having a having I didn't know
what the annoyanty was. I didn't know what the gift was.
All I knew was I just like I just come
to church play drums because that's all I know.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
Yes, it's a good sight to see. Yes, it's a
good sight to do. Yes, it's good to to know
the drums. But like uh, some people and some musics
since I've been following, what if you don't have that
(21:41):
that gift? What if you lose that gift? What you're
gonna need then?
Speaker 3 (21:46):
Do you have a nine of five or or.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
Do you have something else to fall back on?
Speaker 3 (21:54):
What if? What if you lose that?
Speaker 4 (21:57):
And I just put it like that almost did lose that.
But thanks to God that I was able to, you know,
get back on my feet and walk again because I
had two back surveys. People don't even know that I
had two back surgeries.
Speaker 3 (22:19):
That's why right in there, Because saying your back once
when something was wrong with your bag before your back
came over, that's it.
Speaker 4 (22:31):
That's what I'm saying. I had two back surgeries, and
the first one I don't even supposed to have been.
All the doctors was supposed to have been doing was
just going in cleaning it and adjusting it and closed
me up. Second thing, I got got to the to
(22:53):
the doctor's office, I couldn't even get intoto the my
father's suv. I wouldn't even step I couldn't even step
up to the top of the suv just to go
to my uh my, my second visit. And then when
(23:16):
doctors had the nerves to sit there and say, Okay,
is he faking it? Is he? Is he really serious?
And if it wasn't for his assistant there was a
godfared person to say, Okay, I'm gonna send you to
this person, I'm gonna send you to this, I'm gonna
(23:38):
send you to this, I wouldn't have been able to
be seen. If it wasn't for that doctor that took
me to rehab and and and did what he had
to do, I would have didn't really get it dead
(24:01):
right now because I had hostin my lifus and I
still have it. I have issues with my my legs,
but thank God I'm able to move my gams because
I did. At first I was not able to.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
Move my limbs. Yeah, yes, that that's a that's a
straight up blessing within itself. Uh, a straight up blessing
because like we we take and this goes, this goes
(24:38):
for me. We we as a collective, we take things.
We take simple things for granted until where I mess
that's true stuff position to where we can't get out
(25:01):
of the boy. It's gonna take us a while to
get out of Jeff. Both simple things long you know,
if we take I like our health and so they're there.
There's been a near mission unhappened where life could have
(25:23):
been over or you overswept, and you have one more
points for a fire. We we take.
Speaker 8 (25:31):
We took the simple for granted, and no without God's blood,
the sun's but there's some blood protecting and shielding all
of us.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
Like you say, you would have been here, I would have.
I would have been facing more troubles than never you
know the next person and would have been worse off,
like you know, just being.
Speaker 4 (26:08):
Just just being able to talk to you as a blessing. Yeah, yeah,
we wouldn't have been if we had this drum clinic
that we had this year.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
I know, and I must say, I'm excited for the
next one. I'm really am gives me a chance to
get out out of my city for a minute. Yeah,
I love getting out of I love getting out of
my city. But we have the name. We have nam
(26:46):
coming up for twenty twenty six. Yes, you know, since
she got her guns down, you know, drums up event
week after now in the Las Vegas Drum Show Summer
now drum Clinic convocation.
Speaker 4 (27:13):
Oh, in August, August, we have our drum Fest that's
gonna be in California.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
L A L LA. I can't wait. Oh, I can't wait. Time,
I can't I can't not wait. Oh, I can't wait.
It's so excited. I'm excited just talking.
Speaker 4 (27:40):
About it, Yes, and then speaking of that, I'm just
I'm really excited that I shouts out, Tom.
Speaker 3 (27:49):
I'm the writer.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
Jerry Royce live, Jery Royce.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
What's up? Hey, j roy You've got to get you
on a show so we can actually talk. Oh yeah, musicians, musicians, Hey, uh,
let's let's say a prayer for the family of jelly
(28:19):
Bean Johnson, the drummer for Morris Day and a time
he just passed away. He was the drummer for he
was a drummer for Morris Day. A lot of drummers
who don't know jelly Bean Johnson. You could. You could
look him up on the movies Graffiti Bridge and Purple
(28:41):
Rain with Prince Morris Day, Jerome Benton. But let's let's
let's say a prayer for the family of jelly Bean Johnson.
It was an awesome drummer, awesome guitar player. Minneapolis had
(29:03):
lost another legend in the music. Yes, yes, yes them
to follow him.
Speaker 4 (29:13):
Just thanking the Lord for just blessing us to see
his works that he had put on this world on today,
that he had did a lot for us. You know,
I can just think of these beats, those rhythms that
he can do. Matter of fact, as soon as his
prayers over, I'm gonna do one. But I just thank
(29:35):
you for all the things that he had put on
this world and things all of the hearts that he
had touched, all of the minds that he have you know,
you know, had bumping you know, like you know, it
takes a world, you know, basically it takes a man too,
(29:59):
you know, make things happen. It takes him, you know,
to make that thing happened. That's basically what I'm trying
to say. He touched a lot of lives, not just
the older world. He touched the young and the old
(30:20):
so and the ones that's with wisdom. So we just
asked me the Lord to just be there with his family. Lord,
we're just asking the Lord to be there with his
church family where Lord would just asking for you to
just strengthen his family, his immediate family and Jesus Christ's name. Amen,
(30:42):
ay man, Yes, Lord, Yes, Lord, Yes, yes, the rhythms
may be put out.
Speaker 3 (30:55):
There ain't no joke nothing, no joke at all.
Speaker 4 (31:07):
Yeah, that one, that's that's the that's the first one
came to my mind right there.
Speaker 3 (31:15):
So, but.
Speaker 4 (31:20):
Far as of this microphone that you're hearing right now,
remember I took you to uh five Coors and lots of.
Speaker 3 (31:32):
Drum show. You're literally hearing it right now. It sounds good. Yeah,
it sounds really good.
Speaker 4 (31:42):
I'm very exciting about it, and I'm really excited just
to be uh using their products. I've been using their
product for quite some time. As far as of the
the throne, the drum thrones, if you look at the
tists that I've been playing with, you see five core
(32:07):
drunk thrones. Men of another brother of mine's, Clarence Aris.
You know Clarence. He was in the last drunk clinic.
Speaker 3 (32:16):
Yeah, uncle Clarence, Uncle Clarence.
Speaker 4 (32:19):
Yes he we both has been carrying using their drunk
thrones for the past two years. And I can't find
no drunk thrones or microphones nor equipment that's any better.
(32:40):
So shouts out to five.
Speaker 3 (32:42):
Corps Yep, yep, yep, five four, and also a big
shout out to Soltone symbols. We want to say thank you.
Speaker 4 (32:53):
Yes, yes, I've been with him for over a decade.
Speaker 3 (32:59):
Same. Hey here it doesn't feel like it, but it
doesn't feel like it. Huh, it doesn't feel like it
at all.
Speaker 4 (33:07):
It doesn't feel like it's so like. As far as
the soul tone, what is your your sound? What do
your sound sound like? What do you would you like
to use from soult.
Speaker 3 (33:22):
I have a variety, a variety, you know. I would
have to say, you know that the Abbey series is
pretty nice. Yes, you could do anything with the Abbey series,
it gets it gets the job done. Any any symbol
that soul Tone produced, it will get the job done.
(33:44):
What you will, what you really, what you're really calling
to do? You're right about that?
Speaker 4 (33:50):
Uh, but I like to.
Speaker 3 (33:54):
I like that. NOA, No, we're serious.
Speaker 4 (33:59):
I was first one that played, you know, a series
with the Yes and and I'm very honored to play
it in and spend you know, over ten years that
I've been playing that, uh series, and I've been playing
(34:23):
the ESXO. I like the SXO. I like the extreme.
That extreme is a nice sound. Huh.
Speaker 3 (34:30):
Man. I tried them and I was like, whoa, let's
not forget about the gospels. Those Gospels are Oh yeah,
let's not forget about the gospelt and and the extremes.
But what about that dry?
Speaker 4 (34:48):
Have you tried that dry yet? I got the dry
simple too.
Speaker 3 (34:53):
No I haven't. Oh, you got to get one. You
have to get one.
Speaker 4 (34:57):
I'm telling you, bro, you have to get one.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
Okay, all right, you have to get one.
Speaker 4 (35:05):
If you can that that has to be next on
your list to drive drive some of them.
Speaker 3 (35:13):
Okay, all right, I'm gonna have to check it out
I'm gona have to check it out. It's like anytime
when anytime when I play soult On symbols, I get excited.
It's so fun. Now all brands is different, but you know,
with Soulton, it's like whoa wait a minute, It makes
(35:36):
you want to play even much more.
Speaker 4 (35:41):
That's true. That's true. Not not say anything back to
any other symbols, but I love we love Soultn. I'm
sorry about that. Thanks mister Ikey for making it happen.
Speaker 3 (36:00):
I just spoke with Ikey today, spoke with them today. Yeah,
wish them a happy Thanksgiving. Oh yeah, that's nice. That
is really nice. Yes, yes, Ikey. You know, it's hard
to come by good people, just just in general. It's
(36:25):
just it's just hard to come by good people. Even
the late Ricky Lawson said, you know, drum thing is great,
but you got to be a good person, you know,
to make it go hand in hand. You just got
to be a good person. That's all there. That's all
there is to it. You know, it's and the butts
(36:46):
about it.
Speaker 4 (36:49):
You know, I can't believe it's been over fifty three years,
I mean over fifty years that I've been playing drums.
Speaker 3 (36:55):
Man, let's put it this with and counted as a
blessing because you got musicians now, you even got younger
musicians that are that can't that can't even do do
the bear the simple bare minimum. But you're you're in
(37:20):
your fifties playing like you like you're in your twenties.
Speaker 4 (37:31):
Inside all that.
Speaker 3 (37:34):
I mean that that's what that's. I mean you really
think about it, like how many how many musicians in
your age bracket can truly say that they're doing what
they're doing to this day? You really can't find too
many of them that can literally say that.
Speaker 4 (37:57):
Not too many, not too many. We just had a
uh our guest on t T. She she's in our
age back then and she's amazing. Yes, so you know,
Mike Stir herself. She plays a little bit of everything
(38:20):
from the bass guitar to the the drums.
Speaker 3 (38:25):
To the organ. Oh my goodness, it's ridiculous.
Speaker 4 (38:28):
So oh yeah, she just had a birthday last month,
so I had had a birthday to her and today
saying happy birthday to my limit drop. Today's her birthday
on today.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
Happy birthday, nurser swift. Yeah, she she turned in another age.
Speaker 9 (38:54):
Just that's that's a blessing on today. So yeah, oh yeah,
thankful for that, really thankful for that? Yes, oh yes, well.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
We we we love. We love to be grateful and thankful.
It makes you become very appreciative in life. I wish
I had some patients on this one. Yes, I'm pretty sure.
I'm pretty sure. Miss I'm pretty sure. Mister Roy is like,
(39:26):
oh guy, here we go, so check it out.
Speaker 1 (39:31):
So the doors of the church are open, are open,
The doors of the church are open, and I'm playing
my keys right now.
Speaker 4 (39:42):
And then, uh, are there any one that wants to
come before the Lord?
Speaker 3 (39:51):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (39:51):
No, yes, yes, that's a blessing just to see people.
And you know, that's one thing in my career that
I love in life today to see people come come
to God and say that I want to be saved.
(40:14):
You know, that's a good feeling to see that, to
say that I want to be saved and I want
to be baptized and I want to be filled with
the precious Spirit. It's not too many in existence I
want to say that, neither. But I see people every
every service.
Speaker 3 (40:33):
I love saying that.
Speaker 4 (40:36):
I love saying that, and it's a blessing just to see,
you know, that I had a great part of that
that ministry, just to say, you know, to see that
happen right, very did you notice that that you you
you are playing in the ministry. You're playing in the ministry,
(40:58):
and you've drawn people to God and you don't even
you not even noticing matter.
Speaker 3 (41:04):
Sometimes sometimes like I would have to say no, because
when you enjoy doing what you do, uh huh, like
the focus of just being in just just being in
the presence is I'm good with just being in the presence,
(41:28):
to be honest with you. But however, my brother, I
do it. I do get weirded out when people be like, hey,
you're an awesome player. You've been playing them drums, Like okay,
I don't want it, but thank you because and the
(41:54):
reason why I say that because it goes back to
you enjoy, Like if you want enjoy doing what you're doing,
the other stuff really doesn't matter. If you just enjoy
doing what you're doing exactly right there, We're not we're not.
Speaker 4 (42:12):
We're not one of the ones that you know, take
it to our heart to where to what you know,
it's just like, okay, yes I did it. I always tell.
Speaker 3 (42:23):
Them all glorious.
Speaker 4 (42:26):
Be to God. You know, that's all I say, because
God is the one that gave us our limbs and
the activities of our lyrics. If we didn't give up
the activities of our limbs, we wouldn't be doing what
we called ministry. So exactly. So that's that's that's basically
(42:47):
what I'm saying. I give it all to Him.
Speaker 3 (42:54):
I agree. Amen to that, Amen to all of that.
Oh yeah, in to that.
Speaker 4 (43:02):
Do you have anything that before we close the show?
Speaker 3 (43:04):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (43:05):
Uh, that we can say positive to this world.
Speaker 3 (43:08):
Bro, Yes, I really do to the to to the
world that's listening. That's that's called that's calling end. Life
is shorts. Yes, the sayings say, you could be here
today and gone tomorrow, but you could be here today
(43:32):
and you could be gone today. The truth we see that,
you see, you see that every day.
Speaker 4 (43:39):
We see that every day.
Speaker 3 (43:41):
Yes, yes, with these accidents, there's a lot of accidents, accidents, homicides, uh, sickness,
natural causes. Life is shorts. To those who have elderly
family members that's still moving around, that's that's alive. Love
(44:07):
on them, cherished, the embrace them, because once when they're gone,
there's no coming back.
Speaker 4 (44:18):
That's true.
Speaker 3 (44:20):
And you got that. And now we are embarking a
holiday of giving thanks and be thankful for your family,
be thankful that you're alive, and just be thankful in general.
Speaker 4 (44:44):
Yes, you're right about that. Like you're said, as far
as the age limit, I thank god for my my coworker,
one of my co workers. He I call him Papa
because the reason why, Carl Popula, because he earned that
that uh, that name. He's over ninety years old. He
(45:10):
walks five miles a day and across the ark he
cross guards uh every day with us. And I got
excuse me, I got the best boss in the world.
Shots out to her, and all of the city's management,
all city management, that's that's who I work for.
Speaker 3 (45:33):
All city management, that's the name of the company.
Speaker 4 (45:36):
All of the cross guards that you see, that's a crossing, ah,
your kids, that's all city management. And all of the
police departments that's looking over us. Thank you guys, you know,
for looking at us and uh and thank you guys
(45:59):
for you know, you know, making sure that things are happening,
you know, before these kids going into school. You know,
it's a blessing. And like I always say, and I said.
Speaker 3 (46:17):
Always in our voice over. There is hope. We didn't
have hope. If we didn't have hope, we wouldn't have nothing.
Speaker 4 (46:30):
Yes, so that's what we're gonna just sign off on
today and my brother, this was a joyous conversation. We
will have a great conversation on next week.
Speaker 3 (46:49):
Oh yes, I can't I can't wait. I can't wait.
Well to you, my brother, if I don't speak with you,
Happy Thanksgiving? Yes sir, you as well? Yes, signing off
dove piece and chicken grease. Okay, all right, love you world,
(47:15):
