Speaker 1 (00:36):
Me. Hen't think I'm with Welcome to another edition of
car Pod and I promised you two episodes this week,
and that's exactly what I'm doing. Guys. We are just
a couple of weeks away from January sixth, that's right,
and Dia del Reyes for those Catholics out there, the
Day of the Three Kings and for all my Puerto

(00:59):
Rican peoples out there, the Day of the Three Kings
where we celebrate with food, with family, and this year
with pro wrestling. That's right. Me hint, we got pro
wrestling this year. We got a absolute banger of a
card with three phenomenal matchups for the debut episode of

(01:19):
Monday Night Raw on Netflix, Maccagua la Madre. Guys, this
is going to be one of the coolest shows we've
ever seen. We have for the first time on WWE television,
Roman Reigns versus Solo Socoa. That's right. This has only

(01:42):
been a pl match and it has only been tag.
This is the first time they're going one on one
and they're giving it to us free on Netflix. That
is the main event. We also have the Women's World
Championship being defended by your over two hundred Day Women's
World Champ self proclaimed greatest Women's World Champ of all time,

(02:05):
Live Morgan defending her title against the Eradicator Mommy Rhea Ripley. Guys,
this is going to be one of the coolest shows
we have seen in a very long time. I say
that that's the second time, and I mean it because
we're getting a match that we never thought would happen.

(02:27):
I gotta be honest. When I saw cmpunk debut on
backstage on FS one for WWE, I did not expect
that we would ever get Cmpunk versus seth Rawlins. I
thought that match was gone. I thought we were never

(02:48):
getting it. It was over. We were never going to
get that. And here we are twenty twenty four and
we have it. Guys. We won. We waited our time,
and we actually got a match that we have been craving,
we have been begging for. These guys have been working

(03:10):
this feud for a very long time, and behind the scenes,
it is rumored that seth Rollins is obsessed with Cmpunk.
That is one of his favorite wrestlers ever and he
absolutely loves him. So to see an idol of yours

(03:32):
being able to set foot in a ring with you.
That's got to be a special moment for Seth because
they are working this character beautifully. We are getting nothing
but gold from these guys. I love everything they're doing.
I have zero complaints. I even love how CM punk
said what he said. He just kind of gave the

(03:55):
company line and then without question, Seth Rowlin comes out
just throws a bunch of like profanity at him, tells him, Ita,
who's the boot liquor? Now? I love that. Who's the
boot Liquor? Now? That to me was one of the

(04:17):
coldest lines because it was unexpected. I did not expect
for cmpunk to be shut down the way he was.
It was awesome, guys, and guys, we finally, we finally
have a true direction for Ria Ripley and Live Morgan. Now,

(04:41):
I'm gonna be very honest with you. Out of these
three matchups, I think this is the only one that's
going to have a decisive winner. I think Live Morgan
wins this match so she can move on. I think
it's just not compelling if Rhea Ripley just return a
championship at this inaugural episode. It's not what WWE. It's

(05:10):
not the history that they have given us. We need
the heel to look unbeatable. That's exactly what it needs
to be. We cannot have the heel go out there
and lose every single time she faces a baby face.
And now this coming from quite possibly the biggest I

(05:34):
don't know, the biggest Rhea Ripley fan this side of
every little girl that dresses up like her. I mean,
I am a fan of this woman. There is nothing
this woman can do that will make me not be
a fan. I love everything about her. I love the
fact that she is a complete and utter just advocate

(05:57):
for mental health. Whether you like to believe it or not,
she is. I mean the way she is able to
speak so freely about how she had a panic attack
before her WrestleMania match with Becky Lynch, for her to

(06:24):
be able to just have zero issues, zero telling the
world that, to me, that is special. Guys, that is
one of those I mean that we just don't get
that in our stars. We don't get that in idols.

(06:45):
And I get it. She's about twelve years younger than me,
and that's the kind of weird thing for someone to
feel that way. And I know that this is the
era in which it's all about the looks and we
have to look at her and you know if she's
beautiful or not. And you know, guys, I'll leave that
for you. That's all for you. For me, I struggle

(07:07):
with mental health a lot, depression, all sorts of things.
Things I won't get into here on the podcast, but
what I will say is having someone completely go out
there and just speak freely about their issues to me
is a big deal. So getting back to pro wrestling,

(07:31):
I would say that I just don't think this is
good for Ria to win this match. I don't know
where we go from here. Ria wins this match and
then she what moves on to EO. Maybe she feuds
and gets another match with Becky. I don't know. Not
really interested in that anymore, unless we maybe get a

(07:52):
triple thread at WrestleMania. I could see that Becky Rhea
Live all feuding for the same championship. I can see
that because you add Becky and it spices it up.
We don't know what character Becky Lynch is going to portray.
From what we are told. Becky Lynch is debuting a
brand new character in professional wrestling, something that she's never

(08:16):
before done. She's adding tweaks She doesn't want to be
big time Beck. She doesn't want to be the man. Now,
this is surprising to a lot of people, but if
you add that to Live Morgan's current character as the
leader of the Judgment day, you know, because there are

(08:36):
no leaders, but the clubhouse is full of leaders. And
you add that to this newly formed babyface in Rhea Ripley,
I think this could absolutely be one of the most
special matchups in professional wrestling. So yeah, guys, I think

(09:00):
that liv Morgan wins decisively. And on top of that,
I don't see how Seth Rawlins loses this match. I
just don't see it. He's playing the heel here. He
has to win. Unless we're getting a trilogy, this makes

(09:21):
zero sense. I would like a quick move away from Seth.
Let Seth get the win, move on, but they're not
gonna do that. I think this is one of those
where Seth gets that one upsmanship on Punk. So that way,
when Punk goes and wins the World Heavyweight Championship, quite

(09:45):
possibly at the elimination chamber. Now Seth Rowlins feels like
you shouldn't be champion. I beat you, I should be
the champion, and then you have that WrestleMania matchup. Now
you have the rubber well the second matchic. Yes, Now
there are rumors out there that WWE is looking to

(10:07):
book CM Punk versus Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, and we'll
get into that a little bit later, but right now,
I think Punk and Seth it needs to go a
little farther than you think. I think it cannot just

(10:28):
end at WrestleMania. I think it needs to have that
third match to clinch the trilogy, and that's when you
have Maybe Punk wins that match, or maybe they do
the classic WWE Because anybody who's been watching WWE, you
know the booking, you know how they do it, and

(10:50):
it's probably done something like this. We got one win
for the Babyface, we got some kind of disqualification to
help the heel win, and then the rubber matches. Well,

(11:11):
it's really the creative decision at the moment. Sometimes the
Babyface wins, sometimes the Heels win, but we never really
know what's what. Guys. I'm excited for Monday Night Raw
on Netflix. I'm looking forward to it. I gotta say

(11:31):
I'm a little bit worried watching the Jake Paul and
Mike Tyson fight. There was a lot of lagging. There
were so many people on Netflix watching. They were not
prepared for that traffic. In their mind, I think they thought, ah,
nobody cares about this fight, But in reality, everyone cared.

(12:00):
Everyone cared because everyone wanted to see Jake Paul get
knocked out. It didn't happen. He won as he always
does because I don't think he'll lose again for the
rest of his career. I don't think he'll ever go pro.
I know, technically this is considered a professional fight, but

(12:23):
he's only ever fighting guys that are past their prime.
He's only ever fighting mixed martial artists. He's never going
to fight a legitimate boxer who's ranked within the top
ten of boxing. He's never going to do that. I
mean Dubois the current world heavyweight champion, or one of them,

(12:45):
because Usak Alexander Usik is the other champion Dubois has
challenged into a fight. I'm assuming to pull in Anthony Joshua.
If you remember, Anthony Joshua knocked out Francis Umdanu because
he was tired of mixed martial artists trying to make
a mockery of professional boxing, and this really rubbed people

(13:09):
the wrong way. People felt like, oh, Francis, you know,
he lost. He took the loss like a man. But
unfortunately MMA fans had to come out and be like,
I'm so proud of him, and he did all this,
I'm not good for you. You're a fighter. That's when he does.
He fights. What are you talking about? Like, I don't understand.

(13:31):
When I take a shit, I wipe my ass. That's
what I'm supposed to do. He's a fighter. He gets
paid to fight. He fought, he lost. What are you
proud of? He decided he didn't want to kick, he
didn't want to slam. He decided he just wanted to
use his hands. Because someone in mixed martial arts told
him he can go dominate the boxing world. He didn't.

(13:56):
He got exposed. That's why Jake Paul will never do that. Now.
If Francis beats Anthony Joshua, I believe in in his
mind that Jake Paul thinks he's a better boxer than Francis.
So I think then he goes out there and quite
possibly gets knocked out by somebody, but he'll never face
a real genuine opponent his size, his age, with a

(14:26):
little bit more experience than him. He's not going to
do what boxers do all the time, what the old
school boxers have done. Let me go fight the best
like David Benavidez does, where he just keeps fighting the best,
like Canelo used to do before his last loss, and
he figures, I can't take another loss from my legacy.

(14:48):
What Floyd used to do before he became money Mayweather.
These guys used to fight all the top guys. Jake
Paul's never doing that for him. It's all about making money,
which kudos to him. Great for him, but we need
to be clear. He's never going to fight a real boxer.

(15:11):
That's not going to happen. So Netflix messed up. They
absolutely screwed up because you can see or you can
sense the disdain in my voice about this man, Jake Paul,
and I don't think they realized that there were millions
of people that feel the same exact way that I do.

(15:34):
So lots of people tuned in and it hurt them.
The lagging and all of that. It wasn't like one
of their comedy specials that went live, like the Chris
Rock special. It wasn't like that. People like comedy, but
not that much, not as much as they like watching
someone get beat up Monday Night Raw. I don't know

(15:58):
if Netflix is prepared. There are millions of fans across
the globe people love Roman Reigns. Will they be prepared,
I don't know. But guys, speaking of Roman Reigns, I

(16:21):
don't want to touch on the match so much. I
want to touch on what he means the professional wrestling.
As the kids would say, this is kind of a
glazing situation. I think it needs to be pointed out
that Roman Reigns is the face of professional wrestling. And
I know what you're gonna say, it's Cody Rhodes. They

(16:41):
want it to be Cody. He's doing all of the press,
he's at every interview, he's the WWE champion. But guys,
everything is structured around Roman. Everything in professional wrestling right
now is structured around Roman Reigns. Everything in WWE. Let's

(17:03):
take a look, let's just sit back, let's look at
it unbiasedly. Drew McIntyre comes back after his loss to cempunk,
his war at Hell in a Cell. Now he's going
after the bloodline. He's stopping the Roman Reigns rise again.

(17:29):
He doesn't want that. Okay, that's point one. Kevin Owens
feud with Cody Rhoads is directly related to Roman Reigns.
The entire reason for Kevin Owens heel turned, the entire
reason for him attacking Cody Rhodes is not about the

(17:51):
WWE Championship. It is about Cody betraying him to side
with Roman. The two biggest male feuds right now are
about Roman Reigns. Now, if you want to say, hey,

(18:14):
let's talk about the third male feud, Cmpunk versus Seth,
and they kind of stayed away from each other. They
were both back, they were both healthy. Their paths would
cross at one point. But why did Seth need to
cross paths with him right now? Why did he interrupt him?
Because Seth spent the entire year last year trying to

(18:36):
bring down Roman Reigns and his reign of terror, and
here comes cm Punk assisting the og bloodline. So that's
a third male feud that is directly related to Roman Reigns.

(18:59):
But TikTok and Twitter would have you believing that Cody
Rhodes is the guy. TikTok and Twitter would have you
believing that he's the face of the company. He's front
and center for the promotions for Monday Night Raw. He's

(19:19):
out there. They gave him the Winged Eagle title, something
they've never done for any other superstar in the history
of professional wrestling. The moment they got rid of that
wing Egle title after WrestleMania fourteen, we have not seen
it on television anymore. It's gone. And then here comes

(19:42):
Cody Rhoads, the man who typically brings back these championships,
and he gets it back. I mean, WW would have
you believing that he he's the guy, but his feud

(20:06):
that he has right now with an old friend is
directly because of somebody else. Roman Reigns is the point
for everything. He said. It best than a promo a
while back. You can call yourself a main event, but

(20:27):
I am the main event. If someone tells you they're
the face, they're lying. It's a very great promo by
Roman Reigns. I suggest you all go back and listen
to it anyway, Guys, thank you so much for tuning in.
Please follow us on all our socials. I don't know

(20:48):
if TikTok will be around much longer. January nineteenth is
officially the ban now. I believe that means that we
can still use the app, but we can't update it.
So if you're the phones are set to automatic updates
for the app, uh, it's not going to do that.
So eventually all the bugs will start to kick in
and then the app will be unusable. So a lot

(21:12):
of people will start to lose money. A lot of
people that you know make money on TikTok. I don't
do that. Also, guys, I'm on Twitter or X if
you call it, so please follow that page. That's l
