Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, and welcome to the My Wife Loves Wrestling Podcast.
That is you he love wrestling, I do, and I
love you, I mean for many reasons. But that's that's
definitely up there.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
I mean, we bonded over it.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
This is very very tributd bond over wrestling A Miles
Webber and hy web We're gonna talk about wrestling. Let's
do it all right.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
So I think one of the things.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Like recently that we were talking about is I mean,
we were talking the other day and you were saying
that you were kind of meh, you're feeling very mid
about some of the stories lately. You want to break
down some particulars that you've been feeling kind of about

(00:43):
with WWE Wrestling.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I mean, it just kind of feels like it's a
game of leap frog and they're not really letting any feud.
Like there's some feuds obviously that that are cooking, but
it doesn't seem like there's a lot that's cooking right now.
You know, we'll see if like there's more Randy orton
scene and stuff, or if that's just it.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
That's probably it.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
I'd imagine like they had their whole thing our truth
coming out and interfering, and then now Saturday at night
main event is coming up and they're gonna it's gonna
be our truth Versusena.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
So I feel like.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
That's kind of it, especially because they were advertising like
the last time ever for Randy and.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
For it being seen as last year. I understand that
you can only let so many feuds go. They're not
all going to be Damien Priest and Drew MC.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Match after match after match after match. What are they
doing that It's still still cage, not a hell in
the cell something, It's still cage.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
So yeah, they can still cage.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
And I feel like they are the ones that are
getting to cook the most right now. But their matches
have been phenomenal.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Their matches have been great.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
I mean, it's really just if Damian Priest can, like,
I don't know, be a little better on the mic.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
He's still very.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Which is like, let Seth keep doing his thing and
let Paul Hammond go to Damien Priest.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
That would make more sense to me, right since we've
talked about that too, since Paul Hamon has been with
so quiet Seth, he's been super quiet, and that's kind
of the point of point.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
I don't enjoy Paul hamon quiet.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Yeah, I don't know. I don't like some quiet Paul Haymon.
Then it's just your uncle at a wedding.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
You know.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
It's just like, I can't really I'm a wise man anymore.
She's not saying anything.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Yeah, I mean, well, I mean maybe the quieter you are,
the wiser you are.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
There there's probably a parable about that.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
But no, man like, yeah, him not talking as much
hasn't been very very good. But yeah, I feel like
they've all of a sudden, like this year kind of
come all over the place. Maybe it's because they've been
trying to put so much energy into John Cena's last
year of like, well, what do we do and how
do we make this story of his last year really pop?

(03:12):
And so I think it's been harder for them maybe
to keep their eyes on different feuds and things like that.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
So that could be a reason why.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
And then the Pat McAfee and Gunther thing again. And
I think we talked about it in our last one.
I was bringing it up. I think they dropped the
ball on like a potential Corey Graves and then like
maybe it's Corey Graves versus Pat McAfee and Goonther can
kind of ride up into the distance.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
I mean, they'd have to really clear Corey Graves to wrestle,
which I don't has been cleared n't. Yeah, I don't
think he's been cleared, So they would have to really
clear cour or.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Even just like that Corey was behind like give us
some commentator on like commentator rama, like if that's if that's.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Let him fight amongst themselves.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Something like it just it seemed very weird for like, oh, well,
we can't do our jobs and all right, we're done.
That was strange to you, sir, Like so that was
that was weird to me. I feel like there was
a lot of missed opportunities. If we're gonna run with that,
then I feel like you have to do more than
what they did.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Yeah, that was very strange with that he took those
chops though.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
Yeah, I mean I'm not surprised. I'm not surprised.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
That's most of like you're fighting going there. It's just
like you earning your stripes on your chest because you're
gonna take those chops. Yeah, you are. And and then
I think one of the things that I've been frustrated
with that I hope that they can turn around now
that it's hitting them in the wallet and the way
they like being hit, which is Carrying Cross getting a push.

(04:52):
Can we get him a push because we have been
following Carrying Cross since he was in Las Vegas wrestling.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
We watched him wrestling Life Garage.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
We are very lucky when we lived in Vegas we
have to see and I think it was one of
his like last things he.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Did right, but with them before he got signed, right, yeah,
it was like the next month they're like, oh, he's
on XT now.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Yeah, so yeah, it was when he was still Killer.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Cross or I think, so, yeah, Why do I feel
like it was something with a crocodile.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
I don't know why that feels.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
I don't think so, I don't know a killer croc now,
I'm thinking of like a Batman villain. No, he was
definitely not that it wasn't a crocodile, but yeah, I
know he was.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
We saw him wrestling.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
There was when we took our one of our friends
who does not like wrestling, and he opened up with
like talking to the crowd and getting everybody hyped, and
by the end of his promo, she was all in.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
She was bought in.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
I mean, the second she found out Heckling was permitted
and encouraged, she was like, I mean, but then he
came out, She's like, who is this smoke show?

Speaker 2 (06:03):
And then he had a shaved head.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
Then, yeah, shaved head.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
I like him better now, Okay, I.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Like I like both. I like both. And there's not
a lot of guys that I'm like, yeah about long hair, but.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Yeah, I like both. All right, eyes look darker now,
like I mean, he could just be like just gristled
from life.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
I think he also has a lot more facial hair
now than when we saw him.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Yeah, yeah, he's got a little beard going on. But no,
we saw the We watched the documentary that he came
out with on YouTube, and.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
A lot of people saw that.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
And now he has the number one selling merch If
you're out selling John Cena and his phil Farewell year,
let's go like that. That that's numbers. We're doing bars here, Okay,
So I think if I mean, w W has been
so money motivated for the longest time in the first place,

(06:59):
let's go give him the push. He's phenomenal on the mic.
He is great in the rain, awesome intro, cool song,
so him and his wife have been you know rider
guys for a long time.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
It's a good story.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
He's got good intensity, he's got good ring in ring psychology.
Just like, give him a push, see what happens, See
how far he can take it, see what he can
make happen. Yeah, but yeah, the whole documentary about him Wrestlmingia,
being in Vegas and him not really being on the
show at all except for to take the brass knuckles
away from Lowland Paul's buddy. What are we doing? So

(07:37):
that's I think been one of the biggest frustrations for me,
which has just been like, Okay, let these stories cook.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
What are we doing with the bouncing around?

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Why is it that Gunther went from you know, defending
his championship to open WrestleMania to shooting with Pat McAfee
and then carrying cross not getting a push. Those are
some of the big things that was like, this is weird.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Okay, fair enough, And then what we were talking about
the other night with them now having the Women's ICY
title and Women's US title, there's not enough screen time
to have all of these storylines. And I'm so excited
that they they're bringing you know, some of the wrestlers,
the female wrestlers from n XT up. But it is

(08:24):
so much talent at once, and you don't really get
to like unless you are ravidly watching NXT and even
then it's a different feud now it is, so you
don't get a lot of time to know them. There's
just there's not enough time.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
And the women have been putting on better matches than
the men. Yeah, for a hot.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Second, if I could be completely candid, I know that
Sean from Boy Meet's World agrees with me because I
listened to their podcast that they do and they were
at Wrestlmingia and he was he agreed. He was like,
I think the women's matches were better, the high spots
were better, the inn ring, everything just top down with
just better storytelling in the ring. The moves are more impressive,

(09:08):
like those Those ladies are putting it all out there,
they're living it all in the ring, and so I
think that those matches have become so I mean, uh,
Lyra vike am I saying her name right?

Speaker 3 (09:19):
Is it Lyra or is it Lira?

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Because we know Laura's I'm pretty sure it's a Lyra
because ours is Lara.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Yeah, We have a lot of new Lera's in our
in our life right now.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
But I think hers is Lyra Dude.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
She's been and I've been a fan of her since
the get and she just keeps getting better and better.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
And if I feel like if she was a man,
we'd call her a stud? What would what's the what
do we call her? Because she's a lady, I think it.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
Can still be a stud as a lady.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Can you be a stud as a lady? I mean
bad bitch seems like I don't know. I don't feel
qualified to say that because it feels like I could
just be like bitch.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
But I don't like that. It doesn't feel right to say.
But she's been amazing, she's been so good.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
And but I think this is the problem now is
you have a deep roster on the men's side, like
you always have, more so now than you ever have.
You have a deeper roster, deepest roster of women that
you've ever seen. There's NXT, there's whatever the one is
with the wrestlers who look like children.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
No, I think that's.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
Like the developmental one, because those are like they're like
in their early twenties or something like that. I want
to say some of them, some of them are a
little older, but it's the whatever the one is where
they're super young.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
They're super young.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
I see, all these are kids, So they have that
one and then you've you know, you've got your NXT
and everything like that, and so I think a way
to kind of help this situation, I think WW needs
to give the women their own weekly night like that
is to be the women's undercard, give them something to
fight up to to be able to get on the

(11:05):
main card, which is Raw and SmackDown.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
And then the pay.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Per views or whatever we're calling them now, premium live
events is that other thing, I don't know, whatever it is.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
Whatever your WrestleMania is, your summer.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Slams and your backlashes and things like that are called.
That's where the women's titles matches should be. That you
have the women's storylines for the title on Raw and SmackDown,
but the women should have their own night for the
undercard like that should just be an all women's night.
Give them two or three hours to let the tag
division cook, let the division that's going after the US

(11:41):
title cook, what about the Icy title? And then you've
got two women's titles. So you've got all the belts
that the men have, but the women are just getting
a fraction of the time. And so I think it's
gotten to a point now and I think the matches
are quality consistently enough. The sky is insane, like she's

(12:02):
so good, like if she could once she learns how
to speak English, that girl is going to be unstoppable.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Did we I don't know if we just talked about
this just us or recorded when we were saying to
have the the Paul Hayman girls and like Paul and girls, Yeah, yes,
I think, and I think Eoskuy needs to be one
of them.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
One hundred percent she she won hundred percent needs to
be a Paul Haman girl. And if the women have
their own night you can have that, then you've got
Paul Haman girls. I mean, if like he's going to
be backing uh seth rollins.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
What about Becky.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Lynch which saying since before we found out Becky was
going to come back.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
To the heels, I know, right, like you're still in
tune with Vikay Lynch.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
You call her coming back every single time, and then
you called it right before she turned it as a
heel like seconds before like, oh, she's gonna turn and
then there it was yep. So yeah, like there needs
to be Paul Haman girls. But I think the women
deserve their own night. Man, give him like a Tuesday
or a Wednesday or Thursday and that way. Okay, here
you go, ladies, you have your own two or three

(13:04):
hours to do your thing and then see what happens.
Then you've got a good comparison going of just like
what are the quality of matches that the men are
putting on, how are the women's matches being received and
things like that, and then you know, you can do
what you will with ticket prices and venue sizes for
the women. But at the very least that would be
a good means for them to justify arguing equal pay

(13:29):
on the cost of snack cakes, which.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Was thank you, Otis.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Otis, you're doing the Lord's work, and that's another man.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
I think you're get a push because Otis is so
entertaining inside and outside.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Of the ring, and that's where I think Maxine should
also be a Maxine would be a great Paul Human
girl as well.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
Yes, to those who don't know Otis from WWE, he
leaked a email that came from the inside of we
this past week, and it was saying that now, because
a lot of the the wrestlers have been eating too
many snack cakes like catering, during catering and craft services,

(14:11):
whatever you want to call it, they're now going to
start charging per snack cake.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
It's like, and it was a dollar for the men, dollar.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Fifty dollar, fifty for the women.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
What the hell is that? Like?

Speaker 3 (14:23):
How are you to just be like outright sexist with that?

Speaker 2 (14:27):
Like well, and it's like there's so many ways you
can view it, right, it's like obviously blatant sexism, Oh yeah,
but then you also have it is like is this
a backhanded way to keep women from gaining weight? And
is it like an aesthetic thing now of like oh
you're looking to whatever. That's not my opinion. I'm just

(14:52):
saying I'm also wondering if there's like that part of it.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Let him car that man, give them, give them. My
hostess came, what do we do?

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Most of them are outlifting the men anyway up?

Speaker 1 (15:03):
Yeah, exactly. I mean, I don't know, I don't know
that that coming out was super duper strange.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
It makes me want to start like a healthy like
healthy snack cake company and like have it catered just
to women, and then to send free boxes to here
you go, save your dollar cakes.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
I'll have you cake and women's snack cakes.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
There we go, There we go.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
I like that.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
Yeah, what is not a Jack's call? Bailey bbl Bailey. Yeah,
come on, Bailey, keep on keep pumping the booty up.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
We're here for it. From two people from the bay
to one person from the bay. You keep on lifting
those those heavyweights. Deadlift that stuff, girl, and have our
cake and cakers come and do a sprouts near you.
Uh yeah, man, that was ridiculous. But I mean, inversely,

(15:57):
I think, how do we get on? Oh, like yeah,
you give them in.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Their own night And then that I want Natty to
get the push that she's never got. I was rewriting
notes because I remember reading the article the other day,
but I had to dig for it because apparently she
was just at a nw A show and slapped a fan.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
Who knows if it's you know, if it's a workah,
So it's.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
Hard to tell, but apparently she there's a heckler in
the audience and she slapped him. So that's if you
google Natty right now, that's what pops up. But I
remember I was talking to you the other a couple
of weeks ago. She's only had I think the Diva's
Title once when it was there, and then the Women's
title once.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
I feel like, if you had the Diva's Championship, it
shouldn't count, like because I mean, it should count as
a title, but it's just that belt was just short lived,
and I mean once it became the Women's Belt, I
feel like the whole division kind of got I think
in respect, I.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Think when the Diva's Title was there, mid the matches
were like three minutes, and so it's like you didn't
give them time to give what a title range should
look like.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Well, yeah, the matches are super super short, but even
like I think we watched smack Down the other night
and the main event was Nia Jax versus Tiffany Stratton, a.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
Crazy match, great match.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Great match, phenomenal match, but it was only like a
twelve to fifteen minute match, and you had commercials in
the middle of it, so like it was super small
over off to the side while the commercials were airing,
and I'm just like, well, y'all, like can they just
get like twenty minutes the end, and can we hold

(17:42):
the ads during that time just to give them the
you shouldn't be running ads well, and it's like.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
And you know they can do it because they've always
advertised first hour of this, which is always just the promost.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
This first hour is commercial free. So it's like you're
able to dictate when you overload the ads and everything.
So put them more towards the beginning and give them
time in the main event, Like, what's one of the
main event If you're just gonna be running ads through
half of them, I.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
Don't care what Macy's sales are.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
I don't care about the alien show that's up next.
That creeps are sound out like come on man. So yeah,
and they still put on a phenomenal match. Like the
bumps that Tiffy took in that match, she just took
all I think I saw like falling on her. That
was wild.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
I saw a picture of Nya afterwards, and it was
one of the times that her head went into the post.
She like actually got busted open.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Well, remember after WrestleMania, Tiffy had like a chip tooth
and like a black eye and stuff. When her and
Charlotte went at Man. So, I mean, like, these ladies
are putting in so much hard work. I just feel
like the least they deserve is their own night. If
you can have NXT working the way it is, and
I'll put the way it is, I feel like giving

(19:01):
the women a knight to be able to develop the undercard,
develop these stories. Everybody is getting utilized to the best
of their ability. Ww gets to make a little bit
more money running those And again, if you can see
where the enthusiasm ends up falling, you might be surprised
that people will be as into the women's matches, if
not more, based off of how good they're doing. So yeah,

(19:24):
I think the women need their flowers.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Man, especially Nanny because she's forty two forty two right,
So it's like, but I read any of the article
was saying she doesn't want to retire until she gets
to hold the icy in the US belt, which I
think is more than fair.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
Ye're not even asking for like the main one. Yes,
so yeah, like let her come on, man, she should
be able to do it.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
Maybe they're not. Well, I wouldn't even say they're not
letting her have the U s tttle because she's a
Canadian because Chelsea Green was the first one. She's a Canadian. Yeah,
so yeah, I mean, but I don't know, we're also
maybe like we're obviously armshair quarterback in this entire thing,
but I mean we're also kind of like everybody a
chance like that.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
It doesn't take much. Our three year old son, how
many times does he ask to watch a women's match,
especially Eosky? He asked for EO Sky all the time
and he's three, So like, it doesn't take you know,
a lot to realize how much more like work the
women are putting in there are.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Our three year old son is constantly just like, I
want to watch the girls wrestle.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
I want to watch the girl's money in the bank, I.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
Want to see the girl's ladder match, and I watch
someone with the girls.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
And then, unprompt, one day he's just like, Mom, well
the girls can do everything the men can do.

Speaker 3 (20:42):
And we were like, you hold down into that.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
Energy, kiddo, you never let that energy die. I want
you to say that that's what you need to be
telling people when you meet him the grocery store. The
first line out of your mouth not your name, but
like whomen could do everything the men can do and
just see what happens.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
I mean, even when he's doing his own wrestling matches
with his beanie babies, he's having both genders wrestle each other.
Like in his mind, he's like, why can't you know,
Natalia or whoever you know fight Randy Orton? Like they're
all in it together in the beanie baby matches.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
It is Sonny Well for contacts.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
If you go to my social media, you can see
a video of me and my friend and we have
a bunch of beanie babies and I was just.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
Ripping the tag off of them.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
But so aversely, I have we have still a box
full of beanie babies that are tagless, and our son
has just been playing with them. You know. Some days
he's playing cornhole with them, some days he's throwing them
around and doing all kinds of fun stuff. But I mean,
like mostly recently, he's just been pretending that there're certain
wrestlers and things like that, and this one's Penta and

(21:45):
this one's EO Sky and so so yeah, he's been
pretending that beanie babies are wrestlers, which is like the
weirdest thing in nostalgia that I never thought that I'd
get in my life.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
I love it because it saves us Theney not having
to buy more action figures.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
We don't need that.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
If he finds out that they actually have, like the
actual action figures for the wrestlers, he's gonna be like,
what about that? But like you've got the Valentino and
the Valentina Bear man, Like, I mean, okay, let the
American Bears duke it out Sunday Sunday Sunday Glory of
the America Bear versus the September eleventh Bear.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
It's coming to coming to the main event near you.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
So yeah, he but yeah, he's constantly asking to watch
the women wrestle. So I mean there's there's for sure
a new generation of kids that are coming up watching
WWE right now. Who all they know is the women
wrestling as good, if not better sometimes than the men.

(22:47):
And to be able to look at it through that lens,
I think it's very important.

Speaker 3 (22:53):
So who knows who knows what's going on behind the scenes.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
But I think, yeah, Natty needs to get a push
so she can get a belt, so you can just
let that girl right off into the sunset.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
I didn't know she was forty two, forty two.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Yeah, yeah, And I mean she's been doing it literally
since she was a kid. Yeah yeah, So she's.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
Been in that dungeon and she's been teaching people too.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
Well, That's what I mean, is like she's always the one.
I feel like that. You hear people say they she
took them under her wing, you know, backstage doing like
all these you know, private lessons and everything with them,
helping them in any way. She can putting people over
in matches.

Speaker 4 (23:30):
All the time, all the time, all the time, all
the time.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
So give me, give me a world where her and
MS get the respect that they just her.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
We'd love to see a final miss push, but it's
looking like he's just going to be a mouthpiece now,
so which, yeah, they're worse things, but still the man
deserves a good push at a.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
Title or something, not just the old Spice guy that.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Just the old Spice ads him and our truth are doing.
So yeah, I think I think that sums up most
of our thoughts feelings about what's going on with w
W right now.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
Is it still better than you know, the Vince mcmanon era. Yes,
of course, of course, of course it is. It's it's
it's still doing.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
You know, we didn't talk about what we talk about
the other day. The White six?

Speaker 3 (24:18):
Oh yeah, where where the waited six coast?

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Like I feel like them and Lizzo dropped off the
face theory for different reasons.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
Yeah, where are the wire at six?

Speaker 4 (24:27):
Maybe six?

Speaker 1 (24:28):
One?

Speaker 3 (24:29):
Oh my god, that would be.

Speaker 1 (24:31):
That would be amazing.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
What a good storyline to be, Like, well, I turned heel.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
That's why all that stuff happened.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
What would a heel do.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
To their backup dancers? That's such a terrible thing to
laugh at.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
I mean it's also depending on if it's.

Speaker 4 (24:45):
True or not.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
Yeah, who knows if it's true or not.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
But with all the Diddy stuff going on, who knows?

Speaker 1 (24:51):
Did she? Didn't she?

Speaker 3 (24:52):
But yeah, where's the White six at?

Speaker 1 (24:55):
Because I feel like they got the biggest push in
such a great I mean that.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
That first entrance with like everything backstage and like all
the stuff with Chad Gable, It's like that was great for.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
What that was great for? What for it to just
kind of fall off? Yeah, I don't know. Part of
me is just like maybe like they saw him wrestle
in that mask and have so many issues, They're like,
all right, we got to tweak the mask that way
you can actually wrestle with it on and then everything
just fell off, like you go away for a second

(25:29):
and then they don't know what to do with you.
It's like it's just out of mind. So yeah, I'd
love to see the Wiede six come back in some capacity.
I feel like I had a nightmare about bray Wyatt
last night, so I mean that family is still embedded
in at least my brain in some capacity. So yeah,
the Wired six getting something like coming back at all.

(25:51):
All we last heard was they had the feud with
like it was carrying across as people and who else
was it? Miss Misers in that tune.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
Yeah, they were having a few with somebody on raw and.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
Then they found out they got moved to SmackDown and
then I don't know that we ever saw them.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
Actually they didn't make the move.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Yeah, they just moved away altogether.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
So yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (26:14):
I don't know what happened with that. I was a
fan of the promos and things that they were doing.
I thought they were interesting, but yeah, we need but
also in versy would be very creepy for us.

Speaker 2 (26:27):
And that's what I think is like from a parenting standpoint,
I'm cool that it's not there right now, but.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
Yeah, but he'll be four in a few months.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
So think alst is creepy.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
He's got that creepy eye, got that creepy eye.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
So funny because he loves anybody in a mask.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
But that I he was creeped out by Pana for
the first time, one of his biggest fans.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
Oh, he loves Penta. He won't take a picture of
him though. In Ray Phoenix, yeah that's Ray Phoenix.

Speaker 1 (26:57):
Well, I mean Ray Phoenix doesn't have the face paint
or the weird eye like pa.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
Ray Phoenix is also.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Phenomenal in the ring. I think he's I think he's.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
Better in the Ring than Penta is.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
Honestly, I don't tell, Yeah, I don't tell our son,
but Ray Phoenix, that boy can get it. So yeah, there,
there's this is the problem I think with you know,
a deep roster like you have, is there. There's just
it's going to be hard to share time for everybody

(27:29):
equally and follow these storylines all the way through when
you've at the end of the day still got a
peace to advertisers and whoever's running the commercials and the
ads that are helping you pay to keep the lights
on and things like that. But I feel like these
are things that, you know, most people would like to

(27:49):
see get fully developed.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
I think the last thing we can talk about, though.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
Is we can try and figure out is, you know,
how does John Cena come back to being a good guy?

Speaker 3 (28:01):
Because I feel like we saw our first little crack
in the armor. I think Our Truth, you think Our
Truth is going to talk some sense into him.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
If anybody can talk some sense into.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
I feel like if Saturday Night Main Event starts, if
Our Truth versus John Cena is the first match, it's
not gonna be Our Truth who talks it uto him.
I think if Our Truth in John Cena is the
main event of that one, of the Saturday Night main Event,
then he might be because that feels like a very

(28:32):
way to close out Saturday Night Main Event. Is Our
Truth somehow starting to get through to John Cena?

Speaker 2 (28:39):
It would be fun because it feels like a very
on brand our Truth thing for Our Truth to like
bring out two extra chairs next to the ring every
match and like have seen us sit down and he
liked his commentary of how good guys are, and like
just try and remind him every match.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
Used to do that job. Come on, you don't want
to go out like this. I see you John every match.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
Every match, he's just pointing out the baby face and
yeah and all the bad things that the heel's doing,
and you don't want to be like that.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
I don't know. That might make John stay a bad
guy forever.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
I don't know if that would work.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
Yeah, but I don't know. I could see him like
in the match or something like Johnston is going to
like hit him with a chair or some objects or
something like that, and Archers just like, come on, man,
like this.

Speaker 4 (29:33):
Is the oldest one on the roster.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
Man, come on, you're gonna put I'm older than you,
like you're gonna put this out, put me out like this.

Speaker 3 (29:42):
This isn't who you are.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
So yeah, man, I wonder if Truth is going to
be the one who gets through to him. I can
also see see him punk who you know. I feel like,
as long as they're both healthy and notably, that's you
have to have. I'll see him punk match with Sina.
You can't.

Speaker 3 (30:03):
I mean, we're coming up on money in the bank,
that's the thing.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
Like, I mean, that's when they had their famous match
with each other. And you had seen you know, at
the time Sam Punk was trying to leave with the
title and walk out, and know Sena is trying to
do the same thing, and so like the duality of that,
it's too full circle. I think to miss on them

(30:30):
having a match at Money in the Bank together, but
I don't know. I think at some point Sampunk and
John Cena are gonna have their match and then we'll
see what happens, But I don't know. I also feel
like John Cena turning into a good guy again is
a very like Summer Slam storyline.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
What if Uncle Howdy turns them like Uncle Howdie thinks
that they're the same because they're both like heels or whatever,
and then Seena's like, well I'm not like you.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
Yeah. Howdy and the Yat six were trying to take
up people they thought were corrupt though, and so that's
where I was trying to take out like Chad Gable
and them, because He's just like, you're too corrupt and
you know, you're not a good person, and so they
were trying to do like very very babyface things.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
Well, then maybe they try and take out Scena Causina's
corrupt and he's like, well, I don't want to go
to what was his land world again.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
I know what the playhouse playoffs.

Speaker 2 (31:25):
Yeah, I don't want to go back there, So I'm
gonna turn I'm gonna go back.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
Not taking that acid trip again. Even though that was
the best thing about that WrestleMania that year was the
Firefly Funhouse match or whatever it was. That was great.
That was great.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
I'll still watch that back and be like, this is
this is pure cinema.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
This is wonderful. So yeah, I feel like with how
much of good matches and important storylines that Bray had
with John Uncle, how do you coming back? Makes something
with John Cena this year would be in There's a
lot of options. There's a lot of ways that he

(32:03):
can turn back to being a good guy. He could
also just see the light himself. He could just because
he had like a very reflective look on his face
of like, you know after that Orton match when they
were like thank you Sina, because it's just like the
fans being like, we don't care how bad you are,
we still respect you because you're not Rick Flair, as like, yeah,

(32:29):
the fact that the fans are still showing him love. You know,
there was kind of a crack in the armor. So
I feel like inevitably he has to be a good
guy by the time it's.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
All, especially if his last match is going to be
in Boston. Like, I can't imagine you retire in your
hometown as a heel.

Speaker 3 (32:47):
We are going to cry so hard.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
Manifesting Boston tickets. I don't know how we're going to
have a two month old.

Speaker 3 (32:56):
We're gonna have like a three month old in December.
We're gonna have like a three month old.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
Man.

Speaker 3 (33:01):
Yeah, so that's hey, Universe, if you got it in
the car, do you let us know how that happens.

Speaker 1 (33:09):
But I mean yeah, because I mean WrestleMania, you you
let the water works stream.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
I mean I knew what was going right away, right
I mean, I told you when we bought tickets last
year of like he wins, Like before I knew any
heel turn or anything, I was like, he wins, I'm
losing it. And that was before I know it was
gonna be pregnant.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
At wrestle you ran to those deanymore from ghost tiers,
just straight down, just just those things ran. I just
turned to you and you're like like right away, I'm
like oh, man, Yeah, it's emotional. He did it, so
it doesn't matter. The quality of the match is second
to the fact that, man, he did it, so how cool.

(33:49):
I wish it wasn't through Travis Scott, but we've talked
about that already.

Speaker 3 (33:53):
So yeah, man, I mean we'll see.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
But I think all roads lead to seeing it being
a good guy and seen the light when it's all
said and done, because then, you know, I feel like
then when we get John Cena caliber like good guy
matches where he's trying to do more things. But I mean,
who knows, Maybe it's just like I can't really do

(34:18):
those spots anymore because I keep thinking back to him
and Kevin Owens this feud, and I think that was
one of the best fews I've seen him have because
like the high spots and those matches were so good
and so unlike anything I'd seen John Cena do and
his matches up to that point, and then even after, yeah,
I think.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Everybody wants to see him like the economics come back,
and so it's like, even if you can't do all
those high spots, people will give me the tank top,
the chain, the hat, and you just wrapping and dissing
people all night long. I'm in, I'm in.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
So and that's what everybody wants. It's what everybody wants.

Speaker 3 (34:58):
So everyone wants to see at least one.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
I mean, that's that's you know about put prototype aside.
That's how he came in.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
So yeah, he only gave the ruthless aggression tagline.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
Yeah, prototype got that.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
That was it. Yeah, and that was it, you know.
So but yeah, I mean, we'll see, we'll see. That's
the thing I think that is so up in the
air that we're all just like, well, what's gonna happen?
How does this develop? Let's see how this plays out?
And so it's been interesting up until this point, and
the fan service has been there where people are getting
what they want and the heel seen it, and now
it's just like, all right, when do we end this?

(35:35):
So that way he'll be a good guy again. We
get the good guy matches and then an excruciatingly emotional.

Speaker 3 (35:42):
Right off into the sunset in Boston.

Speaker 4 (35:44):
Happy New Year, He'll.

Speaker 1 (35:46):
Right, Happy New Year.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
Yeah. I think it's like December thirtieth.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
Oh it's to end. Yeah, what a way to end
twenty twenty five?

Speaker 3 (35:54):
I know, that's gonna be wild.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
Do you want a party news, No, no, just give
me a box of tissues off Peacock because that's the room.

Speaker 1 (36:02):
I'm gonna watching like a old Bette Midler movie. No, no,
John Cena is last match as a wrestler. That's what
we're gonna be watching. And then we'll probably watch Ricky
Stinicky to balance it out. So good on the other
side of that good, he's great, great, great actor. So
but I think that that's probably gonna do it for today,

(36:24):
and it's gonna do it. I think it's gonna do
it for today. We got all the things off of
our chest. Now we're gonna get these microphones off of
her chest. So I'm Miles Webber.

Speaker 3 (36:31):
I'm happy Webbing, and we will see you next time.
