as she said, and we just went to WrestleMania. We
went to WrestleMania with our three year old, which was
an experience in and of itself. It was yes, mostly positive.

in from. But yeah, we we took well, we went
by ourselves on Saturday and it was a lot of fun.

It was that was a good time. The energy in
the stadium was really great. Really enjoyed that. And then
we took our son on Sunday. We took him on
Sunday because he wanted to see John Cena and Cody
Ruds there and Penta. Yeah, he does like Penta. This
is very very true. He's still scared of Penta. He

is in his lucha era but he's still kind of
terrified of Penta.

I mean, that's any anybody he sees on TV and
then they show up in person.

He's like, nah, I like you.

Then when we took in to Disneyland, there was some
that he was like, nope, you were out of the
TV now, and that is not.

So I get that he's kind of scary. He's got
a giant head. But we did see people cosplaying as
their favorite wrestlers, and we saw a few Pentas, quite
a few. We saw quite a few Pentas, and so
we would always just be like, hey, kiddo, there's Penta.
You wanna you want to go take a picture of Penta?

No, nokta Penta coming out of the bathroom and his
lady was helping him put his bill back on, and
our son was looking at him and you wanna, and
even the guy was interacting with him.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
He's like, nope, I Needa's hid by me the whole time.

Yep, yep, ye her which of the two of us,
she's the one who's going to defend him, probably more
physically than I am, but yeah, no, she was. She
was putting the belt back on him like like a
good significant other a pental would, And yeah, he was
waving at him but wanted nothing to do with him.
So there you go. There's only so much that can
be done. But I think the biggest thing that is

kind of going on with wrestling right now after WrestleMania
is we've seen a lot of people on the internet
go figure. People on the internet have been really upset
and angry.

You just no really, Yeah, a lot of people are
very upset. I mean, first of all, people are just
saying that the whole WrestleMania was one of the worst.
And I don't know if it's just we're weird or
the lore of being there, but yeah, my whole thing
is if you are in the vein of I went

to WrestleMania in Las Vegas and I hated it, you're
a little dead inside.

Well, and like like I was saying last night, I
think there's so much that people are comparing to last year's.

years and I'm like, Okay, besides the main events each night,
let's talk about the other matches.

I kind of teared up at that one because it

mean't think there was another emotional match this year as
well where he put the title off on some that's
two years in.

Round, so many faces one this weekend, but people are still.

Still bitter about whatever they're going to be bitter about.
And so yeah, just the energy of the crowd there,
the people there, the spectacle of it all, like it
was fantastic. It was really really great. I mean, I
will say I think it's probably better if you're in
smaller arenas as opposed to the giant stadium, because I

mean you can see more clearly. There was a lot
of time where we're just kind of watching the TV
because they are so far away. But yeah, no, it
was electric. It was pretty fantastic. The people have been
what we're gonna say, I mean the main event, John Cena,
Cody Roads. That's the thing that people are most upset about.

And this whole thing is just we were talking about
last night. It's like, are we the weird ones? Here?
Are we the strange ones? Because it seems like people
have been wanting scene to be a heel, which is
russell speak for a bad guy. Why is that the
part of the foot that gets the worst associations like, oh,

he's a he's a heel, he's a bad guy.

Well, I mean, name the other parts of the foot.

I mean even then, heel in a face. Those are
opposite ends of the spectrum. But I guess yeah, no,
good guy, bad guy. Those are kind of the Yeah,
maybe it's a heel in a toe that's what we
kind of should switch it to. But john Sen has
been a good guy for his whole career, and for
half of his career people have been like, he should

be a bad guy, and he never was. And now
he's on the retirement tour. This is last year. He's
retiring in December. This was his last WrestleMania. That's why
we were so adamant about going. And he turned heel.
He's a bad guy now and we know people who
are like, he's a bad guy. Yeah, this is the
best thing ever, and so they're super excited about him

being a bad guy. But bad guys wrestle a certain
way I.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
Do, they carry themselves a certain way they do. I
think there's so much to that of with the bad
guy thing. He's cramming what many people like the Miz
or think of any other heels that have gone a
long time into years of being a heel.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
In months, he's cramming and we don't even know how
long it is. We don't we don't know what it
looks like.

And so it's like you said the other night, he
has to put all of the heel moved into that
match because we are cramming in a very short amount
of time him being a heel. So what most people
can do over time.

So yeah, it's a very short amount of time to
be able to fulfill the duties of being a heel,
especially when you've been a good guy for forever. Pause

has been bashing the fans. I mean for a lot
of justifiable reasons. I feel like he hasn't really been
lying as far as you guys booed me for so

it on the chin. That was always a good soldier
the entire time. And so yeah, I mean he's he's
got a lot of good reasons he does to be
justifiably heelish, We'll say, And then we said that heels
wrestle a certain way. I do. John Cena usually gives

as all the matches. I remember when him and Kevin
Owens had their feud. That was some of the highest
spots that I've seen in a match, and there was
a lot of really good wrestling and a lot of
really cool moves that they were doing. John Cena wrestling
as a heel. He's not going to do that. And
so with Cody Roadsby and the super duper good guy,
the white Meat baby Face asked uncles Steve Boston would say,

when he's not crashing his ATV into fans, Yeah, I
think what we saw on Sunday was he wrestled like
a heel.

Well, and he told you I'm going to ruin wrestling.
What do wrestling fans love in a match? High energy,
They love a twist, they love being on the edge
of their seats. So to ruin that, you have to
take some of that energy away.

Yes, so he did that.

He kept sitting up on the ropes like, he made
sure there was lulls in the match to take the
energy away.

Because at the end of the day, he told us
I'm going to ruin wrestling.

He did, and people are mad that he told the truth.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
Yeah, exactly. So. Yeah, he poked them in the eyes,
he kicked them in the nuts. He tried. He took
the turn buckle off to expose the metal, and that's
a very hum move. He was like outside of the
ring a lot, like collecting himself and then sneaking back
in to try and go after him. He tried it.

He was going to hit him with the belt, and
then Cody got it and then he like begged for
him not to do it. It was like this was
all out of the Heel textbooks. And so he wrestled
like lots of just punching and kicking, lots of just
kicking him and throwing them around. Things like that. Nothing
super crazy.

Even five knuckle shovel. He didn't run to the ropes.
It was a walk, slight bounce and then come back. Yeah,
so everything was slow paced. So again he told the
truth and fans got mad. And it's very hypocritical because
spoiler seth Rawlins also said, spoiler told us what was
going to happen Saturday, and people are.

Ye, people are fine with that. So they're playfully not
happy with Paul Hammond.

But I mean, like, yeah, and it's just been getting
Paul hamon round up because.

Because Paul Hamond going after people verbally is the best
thing on the planet always, it's really the best. So
that's been a lot of fun. But yeah, no, they
gave it away to you, like this is what's going
to happen, and that's what happened. They're like, man, what
the hell. So yeah, he's like, I'm going to ruin ring.
And so if you're mad, he did his job, he did.

He did exactly what he said he was gonna do.
The only thing about the match I wasn't happy about
was Travis Scott and that's just I just don't like
Travid Scott like at all. So him coming out, I'm like,
there wasn't anybody else that could have come out, Like
that's when it would have made sense for the Rock
to come out. I felt like the Rock coming out
would have made a lot more.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
So, which is, you know, everybody's upset about right now.
But it's like at the end of the day, it's
either one of two things. Rock's supposed to be a
bad guy, so again he's not really doing it for
the fans right now, or Rocks also just on his
own schedule, which there's been a lot of stuff in
the WWE behind the scenes that alludes to it is

very much Rocks world and they are just living in it.

So it's one of the two. It is, it is.
But the thing that for me was very interesting, especially
being there with Johnsenna being a bad guy, Cody being
the good guy that everybody's loved for the past year.
That stadium wanted Johnsen in a win.

Rewatched rewatched it, we did rewatch it. You can still
get a sense of the energy in the stadium.

But it does not compare. There was very few people.

In that arena that wanted Cody to win. They definitely
muffled a lot of the sound out they did during

Being there and then rewatching last night, like that is
not the same.

It was night and day. Yeah, I'd say like the
family that was sitting next to us of like kids
that were Cody fans just watching in horror as the
entire stadium who just sang Cody's song as he was
coming out and then just booed him vehemently and they're like,

what are you guys doing? Why do you And we're like,
we like the song. I think that's really you know.

WHOA There wasn't a lot even there was a couple
of rows in front of us.

There was like a.

Maybe ten year old tops seeing a gear headband. Everything
turned around and he was holding a sign that said
Cody is a cry baby and that's it for coming
from a ten year old.

Yeah, so at the end of the day, like nobody
wanted Cody to win.

There weird. There were people coming up to us all
day that were like, if Scena loses, we riot right.
Like people were like, no, this is his last year.
I don't care what he's done, I don't care what
he said, this is his last WrestleMania. You're going to
put that title on him. And I think Michael Coley
even said it. Rick Flair cheated and was a heel

pretty much his entire career. Yes, like and also put
on some of the worst matches I've ever seen my life.
I do not like Rick Flair. I think he's probably
one of the most overrated wrestlers. Come after me, Internet,
I think Rick Flair is one of the most overrated
wrestlers of all time, like being a character in the
character that he is. Sure whatever, I get it. It's

the eighties, razzle, dazzle, whatever you want to do. I
have never been anything other than just aggressively underwhelmed by
a Rick Flair match, just.

People are saying, we love crowp participation. We like going
Lou that's it. That's it. Terrible entrance song too, Like
it's the same entrance song when there's like a picture

not like Rick Flair, but he had the record before

John Cena, and people think he's one of the greatest
of all time. And it's like John Cena has put
on way better matches.

When you want to talk about somebody who's carried the company,
and Roman Rings absolutely did during the pend especially, but
I mean the amount that Sina carried, that company did
a full time schedule, the most make a wish is commercials,
all the things. Everybody knows what he's done.

Absolutely, you can't compare the two between him and Ric Flair.
You just can't. No, you can't.

No. It's night and day. Yeah, just like and like
character on stage and off stage, like in ring and
out a ring like it just there they seemed very
much so night and Day, and I believe seen it
when he says that he's going to be done at
the end of the year, whereas Rick Flair went on
like eighteen different retirement matches and had like a heart
attack or a stroke or something in his last one.

So well, even Sena on the Pat McAfee show was
a yesterday morning. He's like, there isn't a check amount
that you can write me to make me go back
in that ring and wrestle after December. He's like, unlike
other people, I've been good with my money.

So yeah, it's not a concern of his. So I
believe Hi when he says he's done. I think he
deserved to get the title, and so people are gonna
say what they're gonna say about the way in which
he got it. But again, y'all keep putting Rick Flair
up on a pedestal, and that man didn't put on

a good match like one.

I think people's biggest grape is like the Rock didn't
come back. There wasn't a whole lot of twists and
turns in the match. But it goes back to he
said he's going to ruin wrestling, and so it's going
to be uncomfortable, it's going to make fans uncomfortable. It's
going to go against the grain that we've been given
since Triple H has taken over. Absolutely is. But that's

the fun part of it is he gets to do
it his way. He gets to call the shots. And
if you think about seeing as his career when he
was full time and wrestling more, he who cannot be
named running the company, he didn't get to call the
shots that much.

his chest because it's nasty. He came out on ATV

and first of all, to get out there. Took a
while to get out there because we saw some footage
of him kind of like missing the ramp, which man, like,
you gotta be a special kind of like drunk or
I don't know what for you to miss the ramp
on the ATV. And then they had to back him up.

He got up on the ramp and then he went
down all the way and usually it goes around the
ring and parks it like in front of the ring
to go back up the ram, and he crashed into
the side railing in front of a fan and looks
like he almost shouldered some lady in the face.

We don't know, we've seen so many angles, but she
she definitely falls. Everybody thinks she over sells it, super
oversold it there, you know.

There you want to talk about a Rick Flair fan.

can't sue. There are certain reasons she can but maybe

No, nokta Penta coming out of the bathroom and his
lady was helping him put his bill back on, and
our son was looking at him and you wanna, and
even the guy was interacting with him.

she's the one who's going to defend him, probably more
physically than I am, but yeah, no, she was. She

be done. But I think the biggest thing that is

kind of going on with wrestling right now after WrestleMania
is we've seen a lot of people on the internet

saying that the whole WrestleMania was one of the worst.

And so yeah, just the energy of the crowd there,
the people there, the spectacle of it all, like it

smaller arenas as opposed to the giant stadium, because I

of time where we're just kind of watching the TV
because they are so far away. But yeah, no, it
was electric. It was pretty fantastic. The people have been

Cody Roads. That's the thing that people are most upset about.

And this whole thing is just we were talking about
last night. It's like, are we the weird ones? Here?
Are we the strange ones? Because it seems like people
have been wanting scene to be a heel, which is
russell speak for a bad guy. Why is that the
part of the foot that gets the worst associations like, oh,

half of his career people have been like, he should

he's on the retirement tour. This is last year. He's
retiring in December. This was his last WrestleMania. That's why
we were so adamant about going. And he turned heel.
He's a bad guy now and we know people who
are like, he's a bad guy. Yeah, this is the
best thing ever, and so they're super excited about him

being a bad guy. But bad guys wrestle a certain
way I.

Do, they carry themselves a certain way they do. I
think there's so much to that of with the bad
guy thing. He's cramming what many people like the Miz
or think of any other heels that have gone a
long time into years of being a heel.

In months, he's cramming and we don't even know how
long it is. We don't we don't know what it
looks like.

And so it's like you said the other night, he
has to put all of the heel moved into that
match because we are cramming in a very short amount
of time him being a heel. So what most people
can do over time.

He's got to do it like now, like right this second.
So yeah, it's a very short amount of time to
be able to fulfill the duties of being a heel,
especially when you've been a good guy for forever. Pause

has been bashing the fans. I mean for a lot
of justifiable reasons. I feel like he hasn't really been

the entire time. And so yeah, I mean he's he's
got a lot of good reasons he does to be
justifiably heelish, We'll say, And then we said that heels
wrestle a certain way. I do. John Cena usually gives

as all the matches. I remember when him and Kevin
Owens had their feud. That was some of the highest
spots that I've seen in a match, and there was
a lot of really good wrestling and a lot of
really cool moves that they were doing. John Cena wrestling
as a heel. He's not going to do that. And
so with Cody Roadsby and the super duper good guy,
the white Meat baby Face asked uncles Steve Boston would say,

when he's not crashing his ATV into fans, Yeah, I
think what we saw on Sunday was he wrestled like
a heel.

Well, and he told you I'm going to ruin wrestling.
What do wrestling fans love in a match? High energy,
They love a twist, they love being on the edge
of their seats. So to ruin that, you have to
take some of that energy away.

He kept sitting up on the ropes like, he made
sure there was lulls in the match to take the
energy away.

Because at the end of the day, he told us

He did, and people are mad that he told the truth.

Yeah, exactly. So. Yeah, he poked them in the eyes,
he kicked them in the nuts. He tried. He took
the turn buckle off to expose the metal, and that's
a very hum move. He was like outside of the
ring a lot, like collecting himself and then sneaking back
in to try and go after him. He tried it.

He was going to hit him with the belt, and
then Cody got it and then he like begged for
him not to do it. It was like this was
all out of the Heel textbooks. And so he wrestled
like lots of just punching and kicking, lots of just
kicking him and throwing them around. Things like that. Nothing
super crazy.

Even five knuckle shovel. He didn't run to the ropes.
It was a walk, slight bounce and then come back. Yeah,
so everything was slow paced. So again he told the
truth and fans got mad. And it's very hypocritical because
spoiler seth Rawlins also said, spoiler told us what was
going to happen Saturday, and people are.

Ye, people are fine with that. So they're playfully not
happy with Paul Hammond.

And so if you're mad, he did his job, he did.

The only thing about the match I wasn't happy about
was Travis Scott and that's just I just don't like
Travid Scott like at all. So him coming out, I'm like,
there wasn't anybody else that could have come out, Like
that's when it would have made sense for the Rock
to come out. I felt like the Rock coming out
would have made a lot more.

So, which is, you know, everybody's upset about right now.
But it's like at the end of the day, it's
either one of two things. Rock's supposed to be a
bad guy, so again he's not really doing it for
the fans right now, or Rocks also just on his
own schedule, which there's been a lot of stuff in
the WWE behind the scenes that alludes to it is

But the thing that for me was very interesting, especially
being there with Johnsenna being a bad guy, Cody being

on some of the worst matches I've ever seen my life.
I do not like Rick Flair. I think he's probably
one of the most overrated wrestlers. Come after me, Internet,
I think Rick Flair is one of the most overrated
wrestlers of all time, like being a character in the
character that he is. Sure whatever, I get it. It's

the eighties, razzle, dazzle, whatever you want to do. I
have never been anything other than just aggressively underwhelmed by
a Rick Flair match, just.

attack or a stroke or something in his last one.

believe Hi when he says he's done. I think he
deserved to get the title, and so people are gonna

I think people's biggest grape is like the Rock didn't
come back. There wasn't a whole lot of twists and
turns in the match. But it goes back to he

going to go against the grain that we've been given
since Triple H has taken over. Absolutely is. But that's

the fun part of it is he gets to do
it his way. He gets to call the shots. And
if you think about seeing as his career when he
was full time and wrestling more, he who cannot be
named running the company, he didn't get to call the
shots that much.
