Speaker 1 (00:10):
You do see some traps, Okay, you see some small
traps that were used as noise makers, strings with bells
on them, but they've already been broken. They lie broken
and scattered on the ground. Okay, evidence that the camp
was preparing to, you know, defend itself against discovery. Why
are they use noisemakers against an attack? That doesn't make sense?
(00:32):
You put those outside of your walls.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
If they were sleeping, You're too far for me to
hear I'm talking.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, fourth and fourth wall. I
was thinking, maybe, well, Kyle doesn't have an accent. No,
Kyle doesn't have an accent, so it's hard to tell
that you're talking about character.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Yeah, what are you saying?
Speaker 1 (00:55):
I don't think Kyle. Yeah, all right, so yeah that's
what you see anybody else.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
I'm gonna look for viables, nothing new.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
It's okay.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
That's a good thing.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
I know, I know, because you know why I was
say I was gonna do the same thing. My next
move wasn't the eye props the camp give your perception?
Speaker 3 (01:11):
Check me at least its double digit's eleven.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
You find a tent that was not set up that
you can take with you. It's an item. You also
find twenty four gold Wow, a soothing tonic that was
in a rucksack that had been ripped open next to
a dead body. Next to that tonic is also a
yellow musk vial cry.
Speaker 4 (01:40):
I guess I'll just break my stealth and approach from
the other side of the camp that everyone else is on.
Ok be like, yes, I am here in present lesser
on the tonic. Yeah, I want to look at those
bodies though. Okay, so you look at the bodies and
immediately you can tell that they're dwarfing.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
Give me a perception.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
Check what size tent?
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Twelve listed as a pavilion.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
That's huge?
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Yeah, oh, this is like an army. Then like a
small unfortunate DM shrug.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
Help that's.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
I walk up to crumb and I pick up the
ten one hand, put it over my shoulder.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
And bulk twelve.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Yeah, so you guys imagine that's probably what they use
when they're not setting up in secrecy, you know.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
But okay, we should split this apart and sell the
shit out of it.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Would you get a twelve? A twelve? You see dwarf
in ruins that have been tattooed on the dwarf's body.
You also see a red hammer tattoo. Hey, Kyle, do
we know anything of a red hammer as a symbol?
Speaker 2 (02:54):
That was the armor that the people we partied with
was wearing.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
I get on one knee, or is he on his back,
on his stomach, on his stomach, face down in the mud?
I gently and respectfully, well gently in this fact that
I'm expectingly bad to happen, respectfully in the sense.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
That I don't want to disturb the body. I carefully
roll him over.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
You roll him over. As the body falls onto its
back into the mud, you recognize it as one of
the figures from the group that you met in the
woods before.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
Oh holy shit, Hey, hey see what the fuck? I
carefully step over him and I roll the other body over.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
You don't recognize this one, But you also can't for
sure tell if they weren't also at the camp, as
you didn't exactly, you know, talk with all of them.
Do they have the red armor like the red hammer?
So these guys don't have any sigilled armor on it all.
They're in like plain clothes.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
Oh but this deal on the floor had it.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
He had a tattoo. It was tattooed. Yeah, he specifically
investigated the body.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
So, okay, is a pan flute.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
I don't remember pan flute guy's name.
Speaker 5 (04:06):
We're never got We just know that that he was
really bad at it.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
I got the body's name, but I don't remember. If
that was the gentleman that was the pan flute I
would say Lyle, and I think that was the pan
flute guy.
Speaker 6 (04:20):
No, Lyle was the dwarf that snuck up on him
on the same Okay, yeah you did say it was
dwarf though, right, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
They're all dwarfs. Oh yeah, the whole group was a
dwarf to the two bodies on the ground of dwarfs.
Oh so in fact, yeah, you flip them over, you
recognize him? Thank you? Oh yeah, this hits me a
little different than that. I'm gonna I'm gonna recognize him
immediately as the guy who got the drop on you.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
Oh you're so fist bump the pan food I was
still alive.
Speaker 4 (04:47):
Yeah, funck that guy. Honestly, I go back to like
half breathing, half being like, what do they do?
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Yeah, how are you ever going to get that pan flet?
You made it your mission to get that pant Okay,
let's let's let's let's three center real quick. No, it's okay,
it's okay. These guys we're not like child's play, you know.
These these guys were.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
They were tough.
Speaker 5 (05:11):
Yeah, they were a bunch of a bunch of war
of the stuff.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Yeah, and they're dead. So I haven't shared this yet,
but a lot of the signs of the attack, the
the weaponry that's on the ground, the way things are damaged,
the way their bodies are kind of looks like the
(05:39):
work of Orcs spill works.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
Are aware that in the mountains that border Lourion are
Orchestra tribes, but there's kind of a treaty, give or take.
It's it's very trepidationous. It's very you know, high strung
with the crown that the Orcs stay in the mountains
and leave established trade routes and people alone, and the
tribes are allowed to live in peace. They typically wore
(06:06):
amongst themselves. But we're not in the mountains now yet.
You're at the edge of the mountains, but you're not.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
And this is correct, and we're pretty close to pretty
common trade route.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
I'd say, right, yeah, you're you're not too far I
mean you were at someone.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
Wait hey, wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait
wait wait and and I kind of, without looking from
the body, I point back to Alan. I'm like, weren't
weren't there three large figures and one small figure the
footprints we saw earlier? Yes, was I think someone's leading
the ORCS. Someone's given the Orcs an offer they can't refuse,
and now they're teeming with someone to break the treaty.
(06:42):
That's the only thing that would make sense right now.
Or or they've taken someone in.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Okay, So so okay, we need to find this. Can
you keep fighting? Can you can you find the tracks?
Speaker 1 (06:52):
This was a while ago, man, we were we we've
long past those. They were behind us. Alen chimes in,
she goes, no, I think that we could. I believe
this camp was attacked after whoever put the wadron can
in the ruins, So I do believe there's very likely
tracks leading out. I stand corrected by the expert. I
(07:14):
love having you around. She kind of gives a little,
you know, kurt nod while holding her side. You can
tell she's not doing him.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
Please, Yes, I get up and I dust my knees
off and I'm like, well, let's pick off what we
can't grab whatever we can hold, and let's get out
of here.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Man, can I loute one of the bodies, actually the
body of the dwarf that we saw the tattoo on, he.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
Has nothing on him. Okay, I was gonna say, but
there's still a full camp full of things I want.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
To I want to check one of the tenths. Perception.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
Yeah, just give me a perception for eighteen. You find
a journal. Okay, do you speak dwarfish?
Speaker 2 (07:54):
No, but I can learn. Oh crom speaks it. I'll
take it about. I'll give him.
Speaker 6 (07:58):
Okay, can you keep behold on your dice? No, you
don't get it. This isn't Jamanji.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
I rolled in that twenty on the ground journal. Hold on.
I don't want to let Lucas roll. It's sixteen plus
ten twenty six. Damn Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
So while searching around another tent, Lucas you find maps
of Allurion rolled up, and as you take a look
at them with that high of a roll, you know
there's notice that there's something specific about these maps. They
are marked with trade routes, population centers, and key landmarks.
(08:37):
Some locations are circled. Others are not guys. I found maps,
nice maps, and these look like they were plants.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
An that's of the map?
Speaker 1 (08:46):
Yeah? Yeah? Here?
Speaker 3 (08:48):
Can I use LOLd warfare to see if this is
a battle map?
Speaker 1 (08:51):
Yes? You can legendary so what I was gonna do?
Speaker 2 (08:54):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
You still have the journal, though, I know I'm I'm
going to I keep searching. Is there anything else I find?
You can give me another perception check? Yeah, I'll wait
for chron That is going to be a nineteen, all right?
With an eighteen, you can tell that, Yes, the markings
made on this map would definitely be of value for
battle or at least reconnaissance for those planning to perform
(09:17):
battle maneuvers or attacks against the nation.
Speaker 6 (09:21):
Now does it look like it was drawn like detailed
by ors?
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Are by the Oh it's dwarfish for sure.
Speaker 6 (09:30):
Okay, okay, all right, that's a it's a good good news.
Good news.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Is Willsden marked on the map?
Speaker 1 (09:41):
It is not?
Speaker 2 (09:42):
Oh thank god?
Speaker 1 (09:44):
So the journal you found is more like a ledger,
and it's also partially burned, so you're able to only
get fragments.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
And my fire goblin read through the burn charge piece. Yeah,
there's a few, so you go fire goblin.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
Okay, you look through Entry one, Day fourteen. The roads
are ill guarded. Mark two. Supply wagons for interception. Schedule noted.
Entry two. The villagers grow suspicious of our presents. Bond
(10:21):
the scouting maps to avoid discovery. Moving camp tomorrow. Entry three.
We've located the grain store to Oakstead. A well placed
fire will starve the garrison by winter. Entry four. Spot
of the Lorens patrol near the southern pass, too large
to confront directly, could circle back to hit their armory instead.
(10:43):
Entry five. The red hammer will strike where it hurts
most routes. Mark for sabotage tools primed. We work on
scene sixth entry the mountain grows restless for news of success.
Let them wait. Wars are not won in haste. Entry
seven spelled blood tonight lo note by choice patrols stumbled
(11:06):
too close. Remove the bodies. No one must know. Entry
eight secured the blueprint of lund southern wall fortifications. If
their defenses fall, the trade routes will follow. And the
last one that you can read amongst the burnt pages.
Rale's low Garrect talks of abandon in the mission. He
(11:26):
forgets the cost of failure.
Speaker 5 (11:30):
So so we're part of with those with those with
those dials, right, Yeah, I don't think there were good tis,
so I should have killed them. We were heavily outnumbered
and out skilled.
Speaker 3 (11:46):
Clearly I wasn't skilled.
Speaker 5 (11:47):
That's how bombs. But that's beside the part. Well, so
I don't want to assume. But there's a lot of
talk of sabatage and saba sabatas and uh and intercept
intercepting supply outs and showing blueprints of Darrison's and stuff
(12:13):
like that.
Speaker 7 (12:15):
So chok, those guys are like uh, untied Crown or
the cook possible Blue, like some Robber the Hood type peopil.
I don't know if you know that story.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
Why why is Robin's hood important?
Speaker 5 (12:30):
No no, no, no, no, no, his name is Robin Hood?
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Was robbing the Hood or what?
Speaker 1 (12:34):
No?
Speaker 5 (12:35):
No, no, Who's start from the wrestling go to the park.
That should be like that.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
But Robin Rich I don't know.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
I don't write books.
Speaker 1 (12:45):
But you have a pH d in bomb in bomb.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
That's in bomb. That doesn't involve book.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Sorry.
Speaker 5 (12:55):
Look, but the next time we're encountered some people from Loon,
which is probably past us off.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
I agree. I agree. So you want to hang onto it.
You can translate it pretty well, I'm sure.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
I mean, I rolled a twenty four on perception, and
I'm just gonna keep searching around, like tent to tent,
every tent, I'm gonna look around real quick, Okay, kick
stuff around to move it and then move on.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
Yeah, searching around. Let me see. You do see remnants
of finely crafted tools, tools, dwarven craftsmanship. They're not usable,
they've been broken. Oh okay, yeah, but it is clearly
a dwarfing encampments. So you guys hear from the other
side of the camp where you came in ale and
go all right. If you guys have done fucking about,
(13:40):
I'd like to find who, uh who hurt my logging
camp and hurt them. Please.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
I'm not fornicating with anybody.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
He's waiting for marriage. Congratulations, young men.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
But I am ready to go.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
Okay, fantastic. What about the rest of you. I'm still
looking around, Give me just a minute, all right, She
leans up against the palisades. What are you looking for, Lucas,
anything of use? There's no there's nothing, nothing, not not
It's been destroyed and pillaged. Wow. Yeah, then I leave
it at that. So she says, to you, guys, I
(14:16):
found some more tracks. If you want to keep going north,
it looks like they're actually heading northeast now. And she
turns and looks up, and you guys can see now
what exactly she's looking at the peaks of the mountains
that stand in front of you, snow covered. She goes,
it's about to get very cold. I hope you all
brought a jacket.
Speaker 2 (14:34):
I don't need a jacket.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
I should probably start planning for that. Crom, do you
have any warm clothes?
Speaker 4 (14:40):
No, let's figure that out while I assume we're taking.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
Off, right, that's up to you guys. But she's trying
to get you go. Yeah, we start walking, Yeah, let's go. Uh.
Speaker 4 (14:49):
I still have all those wolf pelts. I want to
start figuring out how to make one fit, Crom.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Okay, well, he can just wear one as like a cloak,
you know, okay, trucks up. But if you want to
like craft it into a jacket.
Speaker 4 (15:04):
I was I was trying to figure out how to
do something like that, because I think, do any of
us I actually I don't, do any of us have
a like tailoring.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
Skill or something tailorings, tailoring a.
Speaker 6 (15:18):
Craft, it'd be it'd be like low something because they
would be surprised if that wasn't pathfinder, because there's one
for because there's lore of something for shoes from a
specific specific stress.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
All right, So I mean, yeah, you can make them
a cloak. If you want to make it something that
fits more comfortable than you're probably gonna have to either
find a specialist or read a book or something like that.
M hm, yeah.
Speaker 4 (15:40):
I give you the wolf pelt that's been like somewhat
trimmed off and I like scraped off the fat.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
It's not quite tanned.
Speaker 4 (15:45):
It'll keep you warm, and I'm like, if ship gets cold, buddy,
you just you just gotta suck it up with this.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
This is all I got for right now.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
I'm sorry, I'm not done.
Speaker 5 (15:54):
This is like one of the first times someone ever
ever been closed.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
Gobbling Cram is a free god Lynn Drumba is a
free comblin free.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
I give you my sock.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
You guys then had no number three. Dude, a trash
can off to the side of the recording table ends
in keep throwing cans and is like missing number four.
Already done that no throwing bottles. I am my next
go to no Ill. In one of the D and
(16:32):
D games in my garage years ago, we had a
trash can and I was on a streak of like
seven bottles not in one night, guys, seven bottles throwing
made it totally fine. So I chucked another one and
it just shattered on the ground everybody and I'm the
d m right and everybody looks at me, and I'm like, look, guys,
I'm working hard. Okay, we're gonna take a break and
clean it up. I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
It was so funny.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
You guys, head up heading northeast, following the tracks. What's
your marching order? What are you doing? How are you
approaching this? You guys? Tell me.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
So knowing that there's possibly orcs around here, and now
also knowing that the people that we partied really hard
with are like ravagers against the crown potentially, I'm gonna
be axe at the ready.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
All right, I'm traveling off the side for usual. Are
you trying to sell?
Speaker 2 (17:24):
Yeah, Lucas is doing his thing where he just kind
of like he's there. Then it's a peace out. That
one meme where the dude puts his fingers up and disappears.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
Sit in the classroom. From what you're doing.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
I'm strutting merrily behind Kyle.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
You know what? Piece not right now?
Speaker 5 (17:45):
Not right now, because like what if the logs sweating
and then like I had a cop by the axe,
I like the boxwing that's got.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
A suck, Lucas. You notice that alien is not stealthy.
She's walking with a limp. All right, you guys are
going along, Kyle. You hear right in front of you
as three arrows land in the dirt, and you hear
shouting from a figure ahead on the trail. Lord, what
(18:11):
about it? Ottoman? And someone steps out. It's a large
orc carrying a battle axe. Another one steps out from
the bushes next to him, and he also stares at
you and Crumb and Alen.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
Can I roll intimidation? Yes, by pulling out my great
access as large as theirs. Yeah, and trying not. I
don't understand what they're saying, but they shot arrows at
my feet.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
Does anybody at the table to speak Orc? I do? Okay? Crumb,
doctor Crumb, he said, stop, what are you Stunnon? He's Scottish. No,
he's Orcish.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Not a very common decision anyway. So I'm gonna roll intimidation, okay,
and I'm gonna brandish my great access as large as
theirs and show them like I'm not here to hurt you,
but I will.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
Thirteen you go to pull or you actually already have it,
and you go to raise it up and they just
look at you, and they raised their up and I'm Kyle.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
Crammell like like step forward and like slap Kyle on
the knee out.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
Okay, okay.
Speaker 6 (19:22):
And then he'll turn to the orcs and you'll like
puff up his chest and beat on it, and and
orcs go this mom talk and you see they kind
of respect that, and they stand up straight and beat
their chest.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
Look, why mmm what these nick and momus.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
Short short stuck little talk. I'm promossome.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
Ho te And they turn around except for the guy.
I'm the second one that stood out. He doesn't like
he kind of waits for you guys to pass so
he can be out behind you.
Speaker 5 (20:05):
All palechal wapns just just just just chip the heads
down to hear that.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Yeah, I would say, so as far as as far
as you can tell, sorry, sorry, crom as far as
you can tell Lucas that they haven't seen you. So
you tell me what you want to do. How far
away from him? Am I? You tell me no? No,
how far am I?
Speaker 5 (20:25):
Like?
Speaker 1 (20:25):
How far away from this gate? There's no gate? They're
just standing people? How far from the trail? Probably about
twenty feet thirty feet?
Speaker 4 (20:32):
Okay, So playing off of that, I will say that
I'm kind of like trailing on the edge per usual,
and I'm gonna like whisper to Crom and be like,
should I come out.
Speaker 5 (20:42):
If I don't want to bustle pro get murdered.
Speaker 4 (20:45):
Well talking I'm a slow slave, I will fucking ski
you or you don't understand that's true?
Speaker 1 (20:53):
You guys have you guys have no idea what CROM's saying.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
By the way, I literally the way I'm picturing is
like I see him. He's so I'm Kyle's look kind
of like I just.
Speaker 1 (21:09):
And you see when you say that other slave in
the two start to get a little like they start
looking around. They go any other more in bushes? Nah,
I'll have through, Oh, follow speak to chief. I guess
I'll step out of the brush. And you see the
rollman perception crumb.
Speaker 7 (21:29):
What suit.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
Can I assist with society and pretending that I am
actually his slave, facting like I'm following his orders.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
No, because he's listening. What'd you get?
Speaker 3 (21:43):
Twenty three?
Speaker 1 (21:44):
So you hear the other one lean into the first
one and he goes one not to kill them easy,
and the first one goes no, not way. He looks
at you. Follow It's up to you, Lucas, what do
you do. I'm coming. I'm already out of the bushes. Okay, okay,
so you guys come out and uh, Alen Is she's
got like her hand resting on her bow, kind of
(22:06):
like hiding it from you know, she's holding her ribs
with her left hand. Her right hand is also near
the same spot as her left hand, but gripping her bow,
and she kind of is cautious looking back and looking
through everybody, and she goes, what's going on? I don't
know what Crumb's doing.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
But I would follow because I go up to Alan
and I offer my my arm until I've heard a
rest on. She needs to walk so she can also
help conceal her bow a little better.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
Yeah, yeah, okay, and you guys just follow the way.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
But it's it's driped I'm walking and I'm still just
like looking around, like kind.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
Of like as you walk past the second one and
he kind of looks at you and he tries to
psych you out. You go as you get close, roll me.
Uh what would that be called? What would be? It
would be fortitude yeah or will will yeah?
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Give me what I would I would argue fortitude, give.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
Me four to dude, yeah, either one.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
I'll let you pick, twenty five.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
Twenty five. It doesn't scare you because of your experience
in the frozen wastelands fighting the other you know, tryors.
You're used to this kind of intimidation. You also are
aware that it's not directly hostile. He's more testing you.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
Can I roll intimidation, not for the fact of trying
to cert my actually know it is to a certain dominance,
but it's in the sense that like, you don't scare me, yeah,
and you shouldn't fear me either. It's like just like
just calm.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
Down, yeah, neutrality, camaraderie, got twelve. You you try, and
it's a little higher pitch than you meant. I was
supposed to be a glare, Oh just glare.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
So instead of like a it's like.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
A you go to glare and him, Yeah, yeah, give
them the rock stare that the one eye row.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Kind of flirt with him a little bit instead of
scaring my foot with him.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
All right, give a You walk for a little while
and it's relatively it's kind of awkward. It's silence. After
a while, you guys come upon what appears to be
in makeshift camp, but it is nothing like the one
you just came from. This one is massive. You see
banners that are swaying in the wind. Anybody want to
(24:17):
give me a society check?
Speaker 2 (24:19):
Yes, plus six, let's go. It's critical fail.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
Ouch, you have no idea what this is?
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (24:26):
Cool? So you see symbolism, large banners. You see orcs
milling about, people up on palisades staring at you. As
you are led into the camp, and as you go
in there are orcs everywhere. And he leads you to
a kind of makeshift throne of sorts where a large
(24:51):
muscly tattooed orc sits speaking to others. As you guys
are brought up, everyone is staring at you with confusion
and suspicion. They're just not sure why you're there. Many
of them grab their weapons ready them just.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
In case, can I roll performance?
Speaker 1 (25:09):
What are you trying to do?
Speaker 2 (25:10):
Pretend really hard to be a slave of CROM's Yeah, okay,
that'd be fifteen.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Okay, all right.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
I look down at Chrome slap me across the face,
said last, okay, slash regress. Oh please, please, don't don't
hit me again. I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
I'll be good.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
I won't raise my weapon and enemies and people.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
I swear I won't stop.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
Lucas has his head in his hands.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
I wheeled down on the ground. I get it on
all fours and I start bowing up and down. Yes,
Master Chrome.
Speaker 1 (25:46):
The doctor PhD to crown runs spout, and they're all
just staring at you, guys. And again the one that
was bringing you in he kind of looks at you
with confusion, and then looks to the orc that's sitting
on the throne. And this throne is not opulent. It
(26:08):
is made of hewn wood, roughly cut and put together
from the trees that surround this area of the mountainous region.
And he says, small one seeming bars walking to calm,
has to talk to you. Any gestures you see ahead
of you, A towering orc, ash, gray skin, fiery red
(26:31):
eyes and a wild mane of black hair that are
braided with shards of bone. Massive frame adorned with scars
from countless battles, A massive great axe sits on his side.
He looks down at you and he says, why do
(26:51):
you comb to our camp?
Speaker 3 (26:54):
Want to talk? No man shall starter ones? Want to
no more? Starter? Run's bad for business?
Speaker 1 (27:02):
What name crum? Greeting crumb? Why give in full? Why
not kill your And everybody just starts laughing in a roar,
and he looks at you and he goes, oh you're tough,
(27:23):
par tough. Oh fine, you fight, are strongish and we
give you in fall you fail, we all own you deal.
Oh mh you fight our strongist and we give you
(27:56):
in fall you fail, We all you deal.
Speaker 8 (28:04):
Okay, I don't know what they're saying, but I bet you.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
Dirt forehead the dirt.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
And then CROM's gonna grab cow by the hair and
then like pull his face. And they want us to
fight their stronger.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
Oh fuck, what know they want?
Speaker 1 (28:34):
What us?
Speaker 3 (28:35):
Are you?
Speaker 1 (28:36):
Probably?
Speaker 2 (28:37):
You guys gonna fight for me?
Speaker 1 (28:43):
His giant axe and he steps forward, almost with the
thunder as his feet hit the ground, and he goes
one fight that in Pete is it you, little one?
It'll not worth the time.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
Cow stop.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
They all roar and laughter again.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
I stand up, begrudgingly, knowing that I just got plus America.
Speaker 1 (29:09):
What's America?
Speaker 2 (29:11):
Don't don't start. I look up at him.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
Okay, and he does. He towers above you, and he
looks down at you. Come and he goes, not me, him,
and he points over to a tent with smoke and
steam bellowing.
Speaker 9 (29:28):
Out of it. It's not ominous, and he goes, he
looks at you, Kyle one t that pisces him off.
He looks at you, Cromed. He goes, he's marking our language.
I cut his head off.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
Now tell him I'm trying.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
To out of him. And then Crome will pull out
a knife.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
Love you tet my hands and knees.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
Allen just looks at you with lucas like what the fuck?
Speaker 4 (30:02):
I I honestly at this point, I'm so amused. I
just struck my shoulders, both still in hand. I like
put my both my hands up, my bows hanging from.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
My hand, and I was like, I'm here for the ride.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
I'm stunned hard.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
And out.
Speaker 6 (30:18):
And then crom will flip it over to the backside,
and he will carve in the orciest word for shame.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
All right, that's gonna be two points of damage for you, Kyle, fantastic.
Speaker 3 (30:30):
I'm so sorry.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
Can you tell him I'm trying to learn how to
speak ork.
Speaker 3 (30:35):
That's that's not a shut up?
Speaker 1 (30:38):
Okay? And the big one leans down to you, Kyle,
and he goes crumb you hear that is disrespect me again.
I kill regardless of your master.
Speaker 3 (30:51):
Ah, what what if something that's stronger for what I'm
from us out? Don't blue mile buss fighter and your
buss fighter left us another.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
He stands up tall and he was what thing to
everybody makes stronger or good? Fight? And all the orcs
around just go and they start screaming and pounding their
chest and hitting their shields with their swords, and he
looks down at you. I think I won't fight.
Speaker 3 (31:27):
How will feel about poison?
Speaker 1 (31:29):
Mm hmmm, poison, not fair, not honorable?
Speaker 3 (31:35):
How would you like to fight? That's porson.
Speaker 1 (31:39):
I don't like poison, but I think people won't fight.
Are you trying to get out of fight? No?
Speaker 3 (31:46):
No, not a throat in the pod A little bit
mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (31:55):
Yeah, listening.
Speaker 3 (31:58):
Out of the formula Propolson the little fight off poison.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
Or potter could be worth and he calls out. A
couple of moments past, some orcs spread and another orc
walks out. But this one's a lot skinnier than the others.
But he is a shaman. You know, he's got robes on.
He's carrying a staff covered in skulls and bones and sigils.
And he goes, yes, what's once for forla instead of
(32:28):
fight to death? Really not batter unconscious? We can do.
He looks back at you, Kyle, looks back at you,
crumb need teach slaves, butter wards and then he starts
(32:49):
to walk over to a different part of the camp,
which as you your eye line follows him, it drops down.
It's clearly a pit that's been carved into the earth.
And the shaman comes up to you and it looks
a genous what for me.
Speaker 5 (33:05):
Servant column talk about?
Speaker 1 (33:15):
And his eyes light up, bright yellow eyes, Yes, oh mate,
good for yes. He pulls out a notebook in typical
orchest fashion. It is terribly bound. It's like tear bound
with sinew, and you know there's no glue on the edge.
It's just some really roughly made pages put together. And
he flips over and he hands it to you with
(33:37):
the charcoal stick. He's like, right down and Crammel write
it down, okay, and then he uh barks an orchish
And since you speak Orcish, you know that this bark
is not a word, but it's a sound that means
acceptance or good or complete to the chieftain, who then
turns back looking behind him, and he kind of nods
(34:00):
and he shouts out, Brand, no death, no weapons.
Speaker 5 (34:06):
A find at hand, so they're not gonna die.
Speaker 2 (34:09):
I have a scar in my hand now, just doesn't matter.
I'm I'm scars are permanent.
Speaker 6 (34:17):
Shut up all right, Brand, And then crom leans over
to Lucas. Lucas, scars are permanent. I know that you
will not say anything.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
I'll should play the bar two. Not really, I don't
want to, but if I have to, can I help?
Can I help Aleen? She's still bleeding like she's hurt still?
Speaker 5 (34:40):
Can I just kind of one m.
Speaker 3 (34:55):
One of my slows wounded mother sudden cannot help?
Speaker 1 (34:59):
Sma?
Speaker 4 (35:01):
Yes, no, I put my I put my hands up
and put my bow like over my shoulder and I
start like sitting Ailien down on the ground.
Speaker 3 (35:10):
Faster, faster.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
I just gnawed and Lucas, you can tell that there's
not much more you can do for Alien right now.
I don't do it to healer.
Speaker 4 (35:22):
Okay, I lean and I go, I don't know what's
going I pretend like i'matching her up. Yeah, yeah, okay,
I'll even roll medicine if I like can fix up anything.
Maybe I'm like taking like gauze out of my pack
or like leaves. I'm like, I'm like pushing them against
where the quote unquote wound is. Yeah, and I'm like,
I don't know what Chrome's doing, but it sounds like
there's gonna be a fist fight for our lives and
potential information. I don't I don't know what we can
(35:45):
do to help, but all I would do is keep
your head down, like Crome do is thing.
Speaker 1 (35:48):
She leans in me, She goes, I don't know how
close you are to your friends, but if things get bad,
I think the only way that you'll survive is if
you run away. These guys are like brothers to me.
I will not hold it against you for staying. I understand.
Speaker 4 (36:06):
I have a question for you. Yes, if I die
for whatever reason, can I trust that she'll get this
watering can? Because this is clearly bigger than I am.
And I imagine like like finally, like wrapping around her
torso with gauze and like spongy material over the wound,
like finishing patching her up.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
Yeah, and do well with it. I don't know.
Speaker 4 (36:30):
I just know that for whatever it is, this is
bigger than I am. This used to bring life and
not brings death, and it stains my family name.
Speaker 1 (36:37):
Yes, I can promise that. Okay, and I stand up. Okay,
she follows the same.
Speaker 4 (36:43):
I just I'm like, take it easy, don't tallying stupid.
And then I'm like master crom She's fixed as good
as I can get her for now.
Speaker 3 (36:51):
Normally out of tub, but a lot of slid.
Speaker 4 (36:56):
I did NodD without speaking, hands by my.
Speaker 1 (36:58):
Side and uh chieftain and he shouts out to you.
Uh to you, Kyle, you hear He points at the
pit weapon are you jumping? The pit's only about five
(37:24):
feet deep, you know it's it's not really meant to
keep people in, but it's meant to keep the fight in.
And then he points he gestures over to the tent
with the steam and smoke coming out, and Crome you're
still up on the level and Lucas you can see
this too. The tent opens up and an orc with
gray skin steps out and he is covered in head
(37:46):
to toe with red tattoos, and he is steaming from
the sauna that he was just taking. And he walks
over up to the chieftain and he goes, I'm forty five.
The chieftain goes, yes, see him there, the small one.
He points to Kyle he was beat him and tell
(38:06):
unconscious but no kill. He goes okay, and he steps
down lands in the pit. Now, Kyle, you see him
as he kind of stretches, cracks his knuckles, cracks his neck.
He's like, he looks at you. What my stamandan, what
(38:30):
crum you here? Do you have a favorite arm?
Speaker 5 (38:33):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (38:37):
Face saysn't looking.
Speaker 2 (38:38):
Orcs are rushing flower rouse the left arm.
Speaker 3 (38:42):
That's a proud one.
Speaker 1 (38:45):
The word goes good, I'll take the.
Speaker 3 (38:48):
Other flo over the wrong one. That's a arm, all right, sh.
Speaker 1 (38:59):
Kyle's in the pleasure, all right, roll.
Speaker 2 (39:03):
Initiative.
Speaker 1 (39:04):
Yeah, I forgot that word. The word that's part of
Pathfinder and D and D. I completely forgot.
Speaker 2 (39:10):
Uh that is going to be It's twenty one.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
All right, you start seconds? Fuck?
Speaker 2 (39:18):
All right, Well, I'm gonna go ahead. Yeah, actually I'm not.
I'm not not what. I'm not gonna activate quick rember.
Speaker 1 (39:26):
Okay, I'm not just gonna accept the beating.
Speaker 2 (39:29):
No, I want my ACDB two points higher. Oh and
actually I need to take unequipped my great axe. Oh ace,
he's even higher.
Speaker 1 (39:38):
So you face this orc fighter. As he steps down,
you hear a large bell and he starts to roar.
Make a will DC or will save?
Speaker 2 (40:00):
Gonna be a fourteen?
Speaker 1 (40:01):
Okay, you fail. You have been demoralized. We don't demoralize
very often this game. I'm gonna look up the action again.
Frighten yep, brightened one, You're not frightened one. As he screams,
You're not used to combat without your acts. Being without
it makes you a little uncomfortable. So that was his
(40:22):
first action. Second action, he's gonna run towards you. Third action,
he's gonna also run towards you. That's the end of
his turn. But you see him scream and swer running
towards you. What do you do?
Speaker 2 (40:38):
I'm also gonna demoralize, all right, that is going to
be well, it's against his will, right.
Speaker 1 (40:45):
So he makes a will let me see, so.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
You just make a will's EC seventeen.
Speaker 1 (40:49):
Okay, Okay, So he is also frightened. Maybe he didn't
expect you to be so tough.
Speaker 2 (40:58):
So that's my as one as a thing god.
Speaker 1 (41:00):
Okay, so that was your first section. What do you
do next?
Speaker 2 (41:03):
Second action? I'm going to sudden I'm going to sudden charge,
so it's straight up to twice my movement, but it's
so close. What I'm just gonna do because take with
my actions anyways, So sudden charge and I'm going to
melee strike. That's going to be in twenty.
Speaker 1 (41:19):
Eight to hit. That hits. Okay, that's it. Crit Yeah,
that and path funder. The larger an enemy is, the
stronger they are, usually the lower the ac is.
Speaker 2 (41:30):
Okay, so question. Yeah, So my dice is a four,
so normally that'd be eight damage because I have plus four.
So is that eight times two or is that the
dice plus times two plus four?
Speaker 1 (41:43):
We don't quit often it was it's I think it's
what's the plus four?
Speaker 2 (41:48):
So plus four is my bludgeoning.
Speaker 1 (41:49):
That's just his strength modifier adding to it, So I
think it's the dice doubled plus bludgeoning.
Speaker 2 (41:56):
Yeah, okay, so it's going to be twelve damage.
Speaker 1 (41:58):
Okay, twelve wow, got it straight dangers and that's my turn.
Do you clock him? So your fist hits him in
the face. It's up to him and he strikes at you.
Speaker 2 (42:10):
I'm going to reaction Farebell's flip. So I get plus
plus sho to my AC for this strike.
Speaker 1 (42:19):
So twenty four a C is to be first one misses.
Maybe your first strike kind of set him off balance.
He swings again with his other arm. He's twenty two
to hit and that's gonna be it's also a miss.
And for his last one. The fact that he missed
two strikes pisses him off. You see him summon as
(42:41):
much strength as he can and he begins to yell again,
to try and battle cry, So what's your will?
Speaker 2 (42:50):
My will is a seventeen, all right.
Speaker 1 (42:54):
So that's gonna be a sixteen barely. It doesn't get
you this time. All right, you're up it.
Speaker 2 (43:00):
Now that Kyle's got a little bit of mustard in
the step, I'm gonna rage. I have six tembre hit
points and now get ready buddy. First strike is gonna
be unarmed, so that's going to be a twenty.
Speaker 1 (43:14):
Eight alright, damn crit. Yeah yeah, give me krit.
Speaker 2 (43:20):
That's gonna be six plus five sush eleven, So that's
eleven damage.
Speaker 1 (43:27):
Okay, wait plus five because one plus one is raging.
Speaker 2 (43:30):
Yeah, got it.
Speaker 1 (43:31):
You guys, way from your giant.
Speaker 2 (43:33):
Feet only with elevens mm yeah, got it. I can't
make my fist bigger, not.
Speaker 1 (43:38):
Yet one piece.
Speaker 2 (43:41):
In an attempt to finish this fight faster, I'm going
to furious finish damn. So I'm gonna pour all of
my last rage into this last next teck. Wow, all right,
that's not twenty.
Speaker 1 (43:55):
Holy shit, word is bond. The remainder rage gets applied damage,
right yep.
Speaker 2 (44:00):
So that's ten additional damage flat.
Speaker 1 (44:02):
Okay, but that doesn't get added to the crit. So you, yeah,
you roll your damage doubled it. That is four plus.
Speaker 2 (44:08):
Fifteen nine plus ten that's nineteen damage.
Speaker 1 (44:11):
Okay. So your fist hits him really hard and he
shakes his face, seems to he kind of looks at you.
That's the end of your turn, right yep? Okay, and
you see something change in his demeanor taking a hit
(44:33):
that hard, his muscles tense up even more, and he rages.
First first action, now second action. He's going to strike
at you.
Speaker 2 (44:45):
Reaction Farewell's flips. It's twenty four to ac to hit.
Speaker 1 (44:48):
Wait, you didn't. You didn't put your your effects from
your finisher, did you.
Speaker 2 (44:55):
It doesn't count for reactions, so I can know fatigued.
Speaker 1 (44:59):
So it hits with the twenty six. The fact that
he's only now hitting. He is crazy, and that's gonna
be thirteen points of legending. Okay, and then I also
need you to make it forty two save six. So
what you notice as his fist strikes you, it seems
(45:19):
as if the tattoos on his skin shatter, and that
force of them shattering then travels up his arm into
your skin.
Speaker 2 (45:29):
So fourteen yep, DC eighteen, need to bet to eighteen.
Speaker 1 (45:35):
Okay, strikes you again and misses. That's the end of
his turn. You're up, come on coil, all right.
Speaker 2 (45:43):
So and I'm right to his face. That is going
to be a nineteen that hits.
Speaker 1 (45:49):
Give me damage.
Speaker 2 (45:52):
That is going to be two plus four set six
all right, next attack seventeen plus five. Huh, seventeen plus five,
So that is twenty.
Speaker 1 (46:06):
Three that hits.
Speaker 2 (46:07):
Give me damage that is going to be five damage?
Speaker 1 (46:10):
All right?
Speaker 2 (46:11):
Wait plus four six damage? Sorry? Okay, Third attack that
is going to be a miss, all.
Speaker 1 (46:17):
Right, goes back to him and he begins to start
swinging at you too. You guys, just see these two
large figures just slugging it out. First attack is gonna miss.
Second attack, what's your AC right now?
Speaker 2 (46:34):
Twenty two? But I haven't used my reaction yet, so
it'll be twenty four if it's going to be a hit.
Speaker 1 (46:38):
Oh yeah, he had say you got a twenty six
all right, so that's gonna be ten points of bludgeoning
and then also make me a fortitude save as the
tattoos do the same thing.
Speaker 2 (46:49):
Oh, that's gonna be a thirteen chief.
Speaker 1 (46:51):
A thirteen alright, you're enfeebled one till the end of
your next turn. Yep. Third attack miss it. That's the
end of his turn. You're up, Kyle.
Speaker 2 (47:02):
So what is enfeeble to do? So it can be
exact strength based roles in DC. Okay, first attack, that's
going to be a nineteen plus nine to twenty eight.
Speaker 1 (47:12):
Twenty eight's a crit.
Speaker 2 (47:13):
Give me damage that is going to be eight plus
four to twelve damage. Okay, second attack, I'm going to
again when I strike, that is going to be a
nineteen that hits. Give me damage, that is going to
be six damage.
Speaker 1 (47:28):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (47:28):
Last role, I'm going to demoralize DC seventeen.
Speaker 1 (47:32):
All right, they make a check against you, Yeah, well
you will save it.
Speaker 4 (47:35):
Also would be a really good idea to recall knowledge
at some point, see if you can't figure out what
those tattoos are doing.
Speaker 2 (47:39):
Uh yeah, but my I'm not raged anymore, So that's
actually a really good point. Yes, I will actually take
that consideration.
Speaker 1 (47:45):
So you make a check against.
Speaker 2 (47:46):
His Okay, we did it the other way around, my.
Speaker 1 (47:48):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you make a save. Yeah, you make
a check.
Speaker 2 (47:50):
So that is going to be a.
Speaker 1 (47:51):
Sixteen sixteen believe that. Yeah that fails. Okay, So you
scream at him and nothing happens. That's the end of
your turn. Yep, all right, back to him strikes at
you with all of his rage and fury. Oh yeah,
that hits. That's uh oh, I gotta see if it's
krit So sixteen let.
Speaker 2 (48:12):
Me he's my favor must whip. That's twenty four.
Speaker 1 (48:16):
So sixteen plus thirteen is twenty twenty nine. So it's
not a crit, but you do get hit, right yeah, okay,
so his fist large orchest fish collides with your face,
doing fifteen points of bludgeoning damage and he strikes again.
(48:36):
Oh wait, actually he did hit. So the tattoos do
the same. They shatter and impact a force into you.
What's your foot ro it's crit fail crit fail you
are now you get two more points of enfeebled. So
you're enfeebled two because yeah, they end at the end
of your turn. So you're in feebled two. And that
(48:58):
was his second strike right, third strike a plus one
and it misses. You're up.
Speaker 2 (49:05):
I'm gonna go ahead and do a lower warfare on
those roots.
Speaker 1 (49:08):
Okay. One second, Lucas, you're trying to stealth away. What
are you trying to do.
Speaker 4 (49:14):
I'm trying to walk away and get to advantage point, okay,
or I'm more or less trying to see who all
is here, what the facility like, what facilities they have,
what's I'm just trying to play recon at this point
while they're fighting it out.
Speaker 1 (49:27):
Okay, So we're gonna do it in round. So you
are able. It seems like you're able to kind of
step away as everyone's distracted with the fight, and you're
able to see from what you can see, there's at
least twenty to thirty orcs here just surrounding the pit,
just in the camp. Most of them are surrounding the pit.
There's people who are not around the pit. You know,
it's kind of a large outfit.
Speaker 4 (49:49):
Okay, yeah, yeah, I'm avoiding those people as much as possible,
but I'm trying to get information on like, you know,
do they have an armory, do they do they have
medical supplies.
Speaker 1 (49:58):
Or things of that nature. I'm first pacifics. We're gonna
have to wait for another turn. So yeah, you use
your turn to be able to sneak away. In the
next turn, you could start recalling around savage two things
right now?
Speaker 2 (50:07):
Okay, all right, Kyle, Yeah, right, So I did a
recall first action as recall knowledge warfare on the ruins.
Speaker 1 (50:15):
Okay, what'd you get?
Speaker 2 (50:17):
Oh I haven't rolled out.
Speaker 1 (50:18):
I was like, oh, okay, got it.
Speaker 2 (50:20):
That's gonna be a fourteen plus U plus five right now.
Speaker 1 (50:28):
So that is a nineteen A nineteen the strength based
So in nineteen you recognize the tattoos as those are
markings of the god of the run, So let me
bring up my notes here. The god of a run
(50:49):
is known as the god of war and conflict. Known
other titles are the Fractured General, or the shard Lord,
or he who breaks and builds. So that was action one, right, yep.
Speaker 2 (51:00):
Action two. I'm gonna go ahead and hit him in
the face. That is going to be a sixteen.
Speaker 1 (51:09):
A sixteen does hit barely, but that hits. Gim me damage.
Speaker 2 (51:15):
That is going to be seven points of damage.
Speaker 1 (51:18):
Okay, you clock him in the face, and he starts
to sway a little bit, and all the orcs surrounding
the pit are screaming at him, do not fail, do
not fail.
Speaker 2 (51:31):
Last action, I'm going to attack again. I'm going to
see him starting to sway. I'm gonna play into that,
all right. I'm going to kind of lean forward, jump
up off of his knees, since he's so much bigger
than me, and bring down both my fists onto the
side of his temple.
Speaker 1 (51:50):
Okay, ten, all right, So you try to do that,
but as you step on his knee, he pulls back
and you don't get the height that you wanted, and
you're not able to get lyft off and miss. All right,
he strikes at you and miss his first first strike.
He's swaying back and forth too much. He strikes again,
(52:12):
twenty miss. That's a miss, and he strikes again. He's
kind of out of it, he's dizzy, and it's a miss.
Speaker 3 (52:20):
So he.
Speaker 1 (52:23):
Missus all three Europe.
Speaker 2 (52:27):
I'm gonna be something fun.
Speaker 4 (52:28):
Since you're a giant barbarian, right, can't you grapple things
a size larger than you?
Speaker 2 (52:33):
I can. I'm not technically a giant yet. Oh yes,
that comes in a few levels.
Speaker 1 (52:41):
I remember you're saying something like that.
Speaker 2 (52:42):
That's gonna be fun, but you were half right. I'm
gonna temp to grapple is one free hand, so I'm
gonnat tempt to grapple. So that's going to be a
thirteen plus my strength modifier, so that's actually a plus nine,
so it's gonna be a twenty twenty two.
Speaker 1 (53:00):
All right, So you do an athletics check against their
fort twenty two. That does work, yep, all right, So
you grapple.
Speaker 2 (53:07):
Okay, So that means he's what what task conditions does
that bring? He's grappled, he's grabs that? What is that?
Speaker 1 (53:14):
So when a creature is grabbed, they are off guard
and immobilized.
Speaker 2 (53:19):
Got it, Okay, second action, I'm gonna punch him in
the face like this. Okay, so that's gonna be an
eighteen plus eight. That hits that is going to be
a twenty six. Yeah, krit yes, big money, oh six damage.
Speaker 1 (53:41):
It still takes him out, does it?
Speaker 2 (53:43):
Really?
Speaker 1 (53:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (53:44):
I hit him again for fun.
Speaker 1 (53:45):
Sure.
Speaker 2 (53:47):
I can't see I see him going starting to fall down, and.
Speaker 3 (53:52):
I can't tell he's going unconscious.
Speaker 2 (53:54):
Go ahead, roll, I'm gonna roll my second attack, not one.
Speaker 1 (54:00):
Okay, So you punch him in the face and you
could tell he's out his body.
Speaker 2 (54:05):
My bull was and the fight fast. So I grappled
him and just quit. Two quick punches. One hits one missus.
Speaker 1 (54:10):
Yeah, And because his body kind of slumps, your fist
just barely like glances off his cheek, and the whole
crowd just goes wild. They're all just like whoa. And
the chief looks at you, cron and goes nothing bad.
Speaker 2 (54:26):
I stand up after the pulling the orc off my
right leg because he leaned on it.
Speaker 1 (54:31):
Really, every one's cheering like whoa.
Speaker 2 (54:34):
And I can I let out an intimidating roar and
I roll intimidations. Just how big of a roar I get.
Speaker 1 (54:40):
Yeah, that is going to be a seventeen seventeen. And
you can tell a lot of them respect that, like
poor neighbors. All right, you have won the battle, and
the chief looks at you, Crome, and he goes in flotimation,
this yours, Oh, let us talk over. Drink well, And
(55:09):
he turns around and begins to walk back to the
kind of like tent area where his throne was, and
Allen kind of also follows because she's like, what am
I doing. Let's go back to you, Lucas, Let's rewind
a little bit what I was even here. Give me
give me another stealth check. Wait, not you, I do
your stealth secret all right? What are you doing? As
(55:30):
far as you can tell, no one's really paying attention
to you.
Speaker 4 (55:33):
Reconnaissance and sabotage be specific. I'm more or less trying,
like I said earlier, trying to pinpoint you know, storage caches, armories,
if they have a medical bay of some sort, watch towers.
Speaker 1 (55:47):
I'm just trying to get like a map and a
lay out of this place. Give me perception, dude, twenty three?
All right, so you're able to see some locations where
they're kind of storing some weapons. They're all crude orchish weapons. Yeah,
there are some other storage I don't want to call
them sheds, because these have all been put together very quickly.
Speaker 5 (56:09):
You know.
Speaker 1 (56:09):
They're they're tents. They're you know, little buildings put together
with sticks and the various trees that they've cut down
from the surrounding forest and all that kind of stuff.
But you're able to get a decent, decent understanding of
the kind of the layout of the camp.
Speaker 4 (56:25):
Do they have any storage caches, like like I'm looking for,
like not pantries per se, but do they have like
general supplies and yeah, you're able to see with that
that have a roll there are some areas. Okay, I'm
not gonna steal, I'm not gonna take I'm just gonna
take note of all these things, all right. Do they
look well stocked or they just look like random items?
Speaker 1 (56:45):
No, they're well stocked. They're well stocked, like they could
survive here for a long long time.
Speaker 4 (56:49):
Yeah, do they Okay, I'm gonna be prying a little
bit here. I don't know how much you can give
me with this. Yeah. Can I tell if those bull
along to the town like they were stolen.
Speaker 1 (57:02):
From a trade route. You'd have to get closer.
Speaker 4 (57:04):
I'm okay with that. You roll my stealth again, I'm assuming,
and then I'll roll the perception.
Speaker 1 (57:08):
Obviously.
Speaker 4 (57:10):
While I'm doing this, you said there's people walking around.
Speaker 1 (57:13):
Correct, uh huh.
Speaker 4 (57:14):
I don't speak Orcish, never mind twenty seven.
Speaker 1 (57:18):
So you are able to kind of saunter. No one's
stopping you.
Speaker 2 (57:21):
Yet.
Speaker 1 (57:21):
You get a little bit closer and you see the supplies,
and you don't have a lot of experience with Orcish culture,
but you are able to tell that the supply bags
and rucksacks and crates and barrels, they're all rough. You know,
they seem to be able to Orchish craftsmanship, so it's
not stolen. Okay. I do a quick glance around as
(57:44):
anyone see me. You No one's seeming to pay attention
to you know, okay, I'm I'm an as little bit
more specific. Are they even acknowledging my presence? Not as
far as you could tell? No, Okay, cool.
Speaker 4 (57:59):
If that's the case, then how many points of interest
are there?
Speaker 1 (58:04):
I don't know, like, like I don't have all the.
Speaker 4 (58:06):
Oh no, no, no, Like what I've seen, like you said,
there's a storage cash, looks like there's an armory.
Speaker 1 (58:10):
There's a storage cash, there's an armory. There's a few
other sheds and tents and stuff like that. Does anything
stick out as potent? No? Okay, cool? Then I'm just
gonna leave it at that. Okay, Yeah, it's just like
a general.
Speaker 4 (58:21):
And then I just I make my way back, okay,
And I'll play it off as if I had to
use the bathroom but I couldn't find their lavatory.
Speaker 1 (58:30):
Okay, I'd say, about the time you get back, you
see Chrome walking in Alien walking up with the to
the Orc. Chieftain Kyle, do you what do you do?
Do you climb out and follow Chrome?
Speaker 2 (58:41):
Or I wait for master's orders. I was told to
get and pit and fight. I got Pip in pit
fight and one I looked at Krome, just glancing at him,
waiting for Jig, all of my presence for he just
walks away.
Speaker 3 (59:03):
Crumb looks to Alan, Oh, done so much trouble.
Speaker 1 (59:09):
Goes? Yeah, I'd imagine, so Tom's love.
Speaker 2 (59:14):
I start to begrudgingly step over the Orc. I look
back at him and walk just keep walking away and
make my way out of the pit.
Speaker 1 (59:23):
As you start to step over, you see some Orcs
climb down into the pit walk up to the unconscious
body of the one on the ground right, and you're thinking,
they're probably gonna get him, probably give some medical aid.
And they look at him and they go they just
start laughing at him.
Speaker 2 (59:40):
I look back at them, kind of pause and just
look at them.
Speaker 1 (59:44):
They look at you and they.
Speaker 2 (59:45):
Go, arms up, silent. I don't want to disrespect in
the language again. I walk back up to Crumb.
Speaker 1 (59:57):
You guys get over to the tent of the chieftain
and he you hear him crome. He goes ring drink
and a few moments later they come by with a
large pitcher that's been carved out of like a tree trunk.
They pulled the tree trunk out of the ground, carved
the inside out, and filled it with ale and they
(01:00:17):
pour it out into cups that have been carved out
of tree branches. And you know, the Orcish craftsmanship might
not be precise, but it sure is innovative. And he
sets it down minus tent as well.
Speaker 4 (01:00:33):
You said you went back to it. I said, I
was catching up with crumbs imagined. As I go in,
I like pat him on the show. I'm like, hey, sorry,
I had to take a ship.
Speaker 1 (01:00:41):
Sorry, I don't know. And the chieftain sits down and
he looks at you, Crome, and he goes.
Speaker 3 (01:00:45):
What what, No, we're the more of the stops ones.
Speaker 5 (01:00:51):
Yes, they're bad for the for the sermons. Have to
find the rest of them so that don't diswapt my business.
Speaker 1 (01:01:04):
The rest died except the one we have one.
Speaker 5 (01:01:09):
Can I talk to him?
Speaker 1 (01:01:11):
Yes, you are the man one five. You talk.
Speaker 5 (01:01:16):
Awesome, You don't have archers.
Speaker 3 (01:01:18):
Yeah, I have another farmer level.
Speaker 5 (01:01:22):
What.
Speaker 1 (01:01:23):
He calls over to the shaman, who is kind of
like he's been pouring over the formula you gave, you know,
and he's like talking to himself. He kind of looks
up and he shuffles over and his shaman robes are
shimmering in the wind and they clank with all the
bones and metal that he has on it. And he
opens up his notebook to you as well.
Speaker 3 (01:01:42):
And Cromwell etching the formula for the quicksilver mutchin.
Speaker 1 (01:01:45):
All right, and the shaman kind of looks it over,
gives a look, gives over the chieftain. He gives a
nod and the Chieftain looks at you and he goes, well,
I give so much.
Speaker 5 (01:01:54):
I'm a little bit small, a little of the bird,
but in the eyes of swimmons with the sun.
Speaker 1 (01:02:00):
He thinks for a moment, he goes, yes, understand, Now
let's take you meet dwarf. That's where we're gonna end
Episode nine.
Speaker 2 (01:02:15):
About to be a strong as hell.
Speaker 1 (01:02:17):
I'll just say we're either making friends or enemies. This
is crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:02:21):
No, we are planting seeds for war mongering orcs in
the future.
Speaker 3 (01:02:26):
My problem.
Speaker 1 (01:02:29):
P scraps. All right, everybody, see you later, later.
Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
Later, m.
Speaker 9 (01:02:49):
M m.
Speaker 4 (01:03:04):
Due to
