Speaker 1 (00:00):
Where's your wind screen? You gotta install a wind screen. No,
I will mute you, and I will have Chrome translate
what you're saying, because he sometimes and then also sometimes
you go.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Today's an ASMR episode. Apparently that's some Xbox l Hey,
don't grab your tools and leave. Domin's okay.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
We fade in to a dark basement, the walls made
of compressed earth converted to a gambling den where CD
individuals and big dreamers gather in equal measure. A band
plays somewhere out of sight. A familiar six sided dice
is swapped out with house dice with a deft hand

(01:01):
and thrown in the same measure. It lands six stots up.
The thrower lets a small smirk raise in the side
of their mouth. We fade out and back into the group.
You guys are traveling with Drlin after leaving the Orchisi encampment,
and you guys are walking along and is he still

(01:22):
tied up? How are you guys treating him?

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Oh, he's still tied up, still up. He's not going
to be unbound for a while.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
One thing I forgot to mention, by the way, is
I would like to start tracking Alen before we part.
I want to see that last episode, but we didn't
have time. But yeah, I don't want to chime in
and say I would like to track her.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Okay, And you guys are at a point to where
after you Uh, I don't remember if it was nighttime
when we left. You guys had to make camp outside
of work. Yeah, I think you said the sun was setting. Yes,
you guys wake to a new day, so give yourselves
a long rest crime feel free to make any of
your bombs or licksers or what have you. And as

(01:58):
you awaken, Ailen is getting ready and us did she
leave that night? Okay, I didn't Sorry, I didn't remember
if she had left that night. Next at the camp right, No,
she she remembers because she gave me her bow. And
then yeah, she was heading off too. I do notice
that she was heading off back to the logging encampment.
Due to her injuries, they were going to take a

(02:19):
longer recovery than she had hoped for.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Which, by the way, for the listeners, I think we
should do this on Mike. How do you add a
weapon with proficiency?

Speaker 1 (02:29):
So what you can do? Uh So, mechanically, the bow
that Lucas got is going to basically just be the
same as a plus one proficiency room. So if you want,
do you use a long bow? Right, that's one you have,
So you can go to your inventory, go to your
long bow click the little edit item. What's it? It's
got the little pencil in the square. Maybe I'm not

(02:55):
looking at it, right.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Are you in foundry or in I'm in foundry? Okay, Founder,
you're gonna double click your character a token. Go to
your little box inventory weapons and shields. You're gonna click
on the edit button. It's on the right hand side.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
There's like a little shit you'll lost me. Brother, I
have no clue what you're talking about towards me. I'll
do it on my end.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
Okay, thank you.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
So it's not a proficiency run I misspoke. It's a
potency room, a weapon potency So basically you're gonna go
in there into your precious materials and ruined under weapon
details weapon potency plus one. That's it. Cool, thank you.
So now your your roles are gonna have modifier bonuses
to its eleven to hit on my first attack. There

(03:35):
you go.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Hell yeah, man, this is great.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Can you guys tell me now place moms are sort
I don't like sleeping with min tad together.

Speaker 6 (03:48):
I don't know who run well, I don't know what
am I gonna.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Run to you?

Speaker 6 (03:53):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
I bet you can run faster than me anyways, probably,
but I know what isten to. Hey, so BI can
already run. My legs out tight, my arms are if
I wanted to run, wasn't run last night.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
I dump out the quicksilver flask because it's expired, and
I hand you back the bottle to reuse it.

Speaker 6 (04:13):
I take the bottle and give you a new one.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Thanks. Yeah, I like it, although you could have washed
out that bottle before you give it back to him.

Speaker 6 (04:22):
I also give you a chuckerdot I.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
Give you back the other while did I tell you
guys that I don't say this out loud. I'm asking
out of character because I don't actually remember. Did I
mention that Alen wants to kill this guy?

Speaker 3 (04:32):
We kind of already know that, okay, yeah, yeah, told
me she tried to murder him inside the cage. Yeah,
so this this woman, it's not no steer. This woman
wanted him dead.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
So I won't say that out loud, but just behind
the scenes, I need to make sure I don't remember
we talked about that.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
What was my name's Darlin daland hey, darling darling Darling,
not darling, I mean appreciates it, but darling, darling Darling.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Stand by me?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
The hell's your name? Big man? Kyle Kyle? All right,
darn line, thank you very much. Keeps me going through
my DA's as hard as they get. Nothing's going to
keep me down.

Speaker 6 (05:20):
I have a crust. I have a quest for the
dur Hey, okay, so we're full about the water into
some kind of bicacle through to the route, not really
which which one, but then the water went on about
you're the one.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
We put to doble lisk. Well, yeah, it's supposed to
make it not work.

Speaker 6 (05:40):
So well, I don't know. That's until.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Well, we are told that if we put on noble
lisks that the plants that are in there are gonna
stop drowing, so the Loggan coup would have to move.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Why do you guys want to move?

Speaker 1 (05:53):
I don't know. That's just what we were sent to
do by who. I'm not telling you that.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Do you want your hand side?

Speaker 4 (06:00):
No, You're gonna get a lot worse if you don't
start talking to us.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
I don't I don't.

Speaker 6 (06:06):
Know who I believe this is what the sermon's called
cub pro quirl.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
All right, calm down, Clarice. So look, my commander told us,
give us the instocks and to put it there, just
said that the trees and stuff, right, and the plants
are gonna stop growing, it'll slow down, and the logan
can't be forced to move because it won't be profitable anymore.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
Okay, And you have no idea who or what told you?

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Yeah, I know my commander. If you of them, I
don't know. Now. If you on't tie my arms, I'll
tell you where we're supposed.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
To get up an unarms striking what?

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Okay, give me a unarm strike roll seven plus whatever
that modifiers?

Speaker 4 (06:53):
I don't remember. Do I get a bonus because he's
technically restrained?

Speaker 1 (06:59):
You know what? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (07:00):
And probably honestly i'd argue off guard because he probably
wasn't second to get hit.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
So your unarmed strike is a plus ten was seventeen?

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Yeah, so seventeen should clock him right in the face, Like,
I don't know why the hell was that far?

Speaker 1 (07:13):
God time you, why are you're smacking me in the fast?
Shut up way?

Speaker 4 (07:17):
Stop talking with your hearts. I smack him again, but
close fist. I just that was right hand. I give
him left.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Yeah, give me roll sixteen he plus sucks is plus
sixteen plus seven. That clocks him on the other side.
He's like, you should jump back.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
So you didn't learn the first time.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
So we're gonna try. I don't like you. Shut the
fuck up. I don't like you.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
I'm trying.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
No, this hold on your friend's very rude. You're punching
the prisoner of war. Of what war? I don't know exactly.
I have punched prisoners even though I'm not a prisoner.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
Look, I'm not asking you again. That girl wanted you dead,
and I'll fucking do it. You need to listen to
me right now. Oh who gave you that water?

Speaker 1 (07:58):
And can? I don't know.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
You just said you knew.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
I didn't know.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
I put my hands on my head and I turned.
I started walking towards Kyle. I'm gonna fucking kill this guy.

Speaker 6 (08:10):
You'll get your chance.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
No, no, no, no, you'll.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
Get your chance.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
Looks at you, crom as they lifts up his arms
that are still too together. It's might just stosh sewer.

Speaker 6 (08:23):
I will totally do it. But those guys are taller
than me, and the thought, oh that was a lie.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
Well he had all just a bunch of falsies.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
It got you out, didn't it.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Well, apparently I'm not in better hands.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
I mean, i'd say it's a lot, but you were
gonna be murdered before that.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
Can I can I take off and start tracking Alen
for a minute. I'm not like sprinting. I'm just gonna
be like I'm taking a walk.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Yeah, yeah, go ahead, I walk off. I take my
bag and equipment with me. I should say, okay, so
I'll attempt to stealth.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
I guess might as.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Well from what just anything out there? Yeah, okay, just
you slink off into the into the underbrush. And Derlin
looks back and forth at Kyle and Croms case. Look,
but he's just sure my back shore mars is saw.
You don't tell me, Hans, please, I already don't have

(09:18):
any weapons. They took me.

Speaker 6 (09:20):
That's true, but so so, but let little explain to
what's going on the bus. A little looting time, a
little where we're coming from the bottle.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
He points at do you have a bandolier on yet? Yeah?
He's like that one should go over one like just
you should go over one. You look down and you
notice that they're not perfectly organized. There's like three of
one shape, and then a fourth of another, and then
a fifth one of the other shape. They could have
move it over.

Speaker 6 (09:51):
Oh my god, synok, he.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Goes, well, it's just trying to help out.

Speaker 6 (10:00):
I mean, like starts fixing the.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
Bottles much better. I don't know, sorry about about.

Speaker 6 (10:13):
But so our home, well it's a tacked to attacked
by a bount a lot of shadow dudes, and it's
magic's and like what the hellens helens?

Speaker 7 (10:27):
Yeah, yeah, and and there were well a lot of
people died.

Speaker 6 (10:33):
I don't want to go into the toes, but.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
I'm sorry to hear that. But where was your home?

Speaker 6 (10:38):
That was a place called metal Fim. It's kind of blackwater.
It's not hard to find. It's just kind of out
of the world. But they were looking for a car carn.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Much your village was attacked for the.

Speaker 6 (11:00):
So the corn, like the water and town was a
magical object.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (11:05):
All I know is that shocks every time. It's no,
that was a compass. We don't know what it does.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
Know that the water can't burns you it burns you
when you touch it. Sorry, Jesus, don't ask. It's a
real life thing. I'm very sorry.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
I try not to do that.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
It burns you when you touch it.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (11:26):
Okay, well that's what the water. I guess the water,
but what was it? So the water too is a
mast atom. The car does a masicacle Adam, we don't
know what it does up so and a lot of
people died for that coin. And so if you're going
orders to place this atom somewhere or gab of this items,
we're trying to have to bust a special because there

(11:47):
are some dark forces at work. And I understand that
we have a lot of the whole lot of gorilla warfare.
That's the crowd. It's like maybe they're connected, maybe they're not.
But I have a solicit suspension that on the wrong side.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
We didn't place no coin a glove, We didn't nobody.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
No, it's it's not so much that, but it's a
matter that you are direct now, directly involved with the
water and can which is also one of the artifacts
now that we're looking for.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
And also it was just slowing down the growth of
the forest. I don't understand.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
I would like to also point out that we ran
into a lot of you guys on our way to
Willow Shade and we had a little little shin dig
with a group of people that were.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
In the s and he kind of like stairs you
guys like, oh, yeah, they're the guy that could be
I remember, I may telling me, but oh. He kind
of gets a little bit of a dour look on
his face.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
He goes, they're all dead, aren't they.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Crome goes, well, most of them, at least.

Speaker 5 (12:53):
C goes in for a hug and uh he he
takes it.

Speaker 6 (12:58):
A little little No. All the things that have happened
are really fun. The party of it's I.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
You know, you can't come from Colozer on Donar without
knowing how to potzy. So I'm sorry about what happened
to your village, but I didn't have anything to do
with that.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
And see, we understand that. And I know that you're
you're just doing your job and that I want to
sympathize with that. But we need more information and if
you can't give that to us, we need you to
take a somewhere that to someone who can, and I
will unbind you and I will calm down, my trigger

(13:35):
happy or quiver happy friend over there. If you take
us to your.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
Leader, anything's for a moment.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
And he goes, look, well not the war isn't with you? Guys?

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Well there's no war going on. I'm not even sure
why we were sent oight here. I think it was
to look. Kingdoms are complex, right, and if you triple
or dish lumba from one kingdom, I don't know, maybe
we can charge more for our lumber xpots. Maybe that
was a goal. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
Can I seek motive?

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Yeah, I want to see if he's lying to me,
and just tell me what I want to hear. What
modifiers that perception?

Speaker 6 (14:18):
It's a perception. But I think it's actually a secret check.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
I think so too.

Speaker 6 (14:22):
There is a short cut paper's right here.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
Now we have those all over the table US forgets.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
Sense, motive check versus deception DC.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Yes, it is the secret all right, Yeah, what's your perception?

Speaker 3 (14:38):
It's going to be an eight.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
So eighteen, so your you're relatively confident that he believes
what he's telling you.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
Okay, okay, so let's put aside the watering can Let's
put aside of the fact that we found planed like
battle plan an a journal about taking down the crown
and let's.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Take it at your camp.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
We found a journal that roughly translates to plans and
logs of you know, finding weaknesses in the wall for
the Crown's armory.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
Whose journal was it?

Speaker 3 (15:23):
I don't know. It was at the camp that was all, yeah,
you have the journal, but it was at the camp
that that you're as this camp that was all broken
down and a bunch of dead dead of you guys.

Speaker 6 (15:35):
Along with the map of like specifically marked of uh.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
Let me see, let me let me see that the
map of the journal.

Speaker 6 (15:45):
Hey crow will pull out the journal and do you
hand it to him?

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Yeah, okay. He grabs it and starts flipping through and
it's uh, as a reminder of the audience, it's kind
of burned up a little bit.

Speaker 8 (15:54):
He's looking through hell stake. He's the most hell. I
don't recognize this, hund eighteen. We're not streaking.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
We're being sneaky bustards ay, but we're not. I don't.
He kind of hands it back, so I don't. It
doesn't make sense. It's not making sense. We were told,
we were told to go out and you know, do
a little bit of that's a little bit of that
kind of do some disruption. But we're not breaking nothing,
not hard to nobody. I mean, hell, even the watching

(16:28):
and content do no harm.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Water and can do a lot of harm.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
No, trees growing sclows not harm, but log and comps
just pick up and move in it.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
With completely murdering the forest.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
The hell are you talking about?

Speaker 6 (16:39):
It was like, does black slugs come out of the
water like water? Black slugs was coming out?

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Oh you guys are lying to me.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
Oh no, no, we can. We saw it with our
own eyes. That's why our friend wanted to kill you
so bad, Not because you killed her friend or murdered
her father, her lover, her forest that she cherishes, and
she's lived in this her entire life is dying and
becoming decripit.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
That doesn't make sense to me. He starts to get
a little flustered, his cheek start to get ready. Said, no,
we were told to put it down on the trees
would grow slow.

Speaker 6 (17:14):
Okay, plus it's a six.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
You he's so flustered, you can't really tell. You don't
really get much of a deeper inclination on how he's feeling.

Speaker 6 (17:26):
Reading people anyway.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
He's just like, why else would a watering can just
putting a watering can and an obelisk cause slow down
the forest?

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Well, obviously it's magical.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
We knew hot, yes, but he obviously there's a bigger,
deeper meaning.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Well, no, as far as I know, you're like, I
said this to slow down the lumber production did.

Speaker 7 (17:50):
A lot more than that life lamp lamb lamps something
and it was a little to them out. She was
throwing black sludge at us and then like one black
sludge made a chime, mushroom. Well, Johnson was about his house,

(18:12):
but now that it was doing bad things to the forest,
like real bad.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
You could tell that doesn't sit well with him.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
He's like, whoa, So whoever you're working for, either they're
they're they're in on it, or they didn't deceived just
like you are. Kyle takes his axe and he unbinds
his hands and.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
He kind of rubs his thank you.

Speaker 6 (18:35):
I'm well aware of the fact that little Rochester a
good job. That's why I know, Well, thats a lot
of the and then you know it's more than one.
There was a lot of better and to shoot the
messager for their other job. That's kind of its kind
of messed up. I think that's a war crime.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Actually, well not really sure. I think he does. But
I ship crum, thank you. I tell you this doesn't
shit well with me. The whole look kind of huffs
and looks back and forth of you guys. Go at
the risk of revealing the lack of toughness in me.

(19:17):
I'm a cartographer. I'll do maps. It didn't it's not
trying to hurt nobody. I please, in a forest or nothing.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
Did you draw this map and then saw the map?

Speaker 1 (19:30):
It's a guy.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Did you mark these locations?

Speaker 1 (19:33):
Well, yeah, of course, I can guarantee you that Loreon
has people in every single surrounding kingdom doing the same exacting.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
I'm not saying that that what you did was wrong,
but you might have by proxy done something wrong because
he's mapped these these these locations are very strategically mapped
out and planned, as you can see in that drug.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
Well, I'll tell you this. We had to meet in
place if we were to get separated. We were supposed
to go up to a village, a little hair in
the mountain, then meet them out a local tavern up
there with then it chance, you know they're still there.
Lead the way, all right.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
Old let me let me go find my friend, Lucas.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
I'm far gone, Lucas. That wasn't for you.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
I thought I was looking for Ailen.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
You said you weren't tracking, or you were just going
for a walk, or you're trying to find her because
she left before I was going. Sorry, I was telling
you the day before it's gonna take a day to catch.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
Up to I was gonna go to the logging camp.
I don't know how far that was.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
Well, so the logging camp. So it took you guys
almost a day to get to the hidden dwarf and encampment,
and then it took another almost whole day to get
up to the orc encampment.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
And she left the day before for us.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
I'm and if you want to spend the next couple
hours like rushing for her at her speed, I would
say it's likely possible that you could catch up to her.

Speaker 4 (21:08):
Now, okay, I say a master trail.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
Come guess your mother.

Speaker 4 (21:18):
No, you're am I still stealthy.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
That's up to you. Tell me.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
No, I thought I rolled my stuff. I never declared
I did it. I was it like a decent role.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
Uh you were comfortable that you were pretty stealthy. Yeah, okay, cool.
I'm just gonna say this entire time. I'm just been
sitting in the bush listening. Oh.

Speaker 4 (21:35):
I walked off and came back and sat there. So
when you yelled at me, I.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
Just stood up. He goes like, holy hell God, it's
so weird, you know. He waves both hands at you, untied, like, hell,
I'm talking about to come.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
No now, it'd be fun because you can fight back.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
But I, guys, guys, let's not. We've we've already declared.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
I don't know. He's got two shiners on me for free.
We'll see.

Speaker 6 (21:58):
Uh. Les, I've been trying for a long time, and
i just want to let you know I'm so really
unstopable and nudge bombs and till that long I will
touch us.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
All right, now, do you normally do that?

Speaker 3 (22:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (22:12):
Don't worr anybody with fame.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
He sometimes sometimes he forgets that he's known us for
several several years.

Speaker 6 (22:19):
So all right, So I don't to talk to you
guys about that, right because we're having to cotton. The
rid of this was.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
So Righting to a village north of US.

Speaker 6 (22:31):
I guess how fund myself up? Hold on drum?

Speaker 3 (22:33):
Just broke the fourth wall?

Speaker 1 (22:34):
What happened?

Speaker 6 (22:37):
That's for like fifteen this, I'm.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
No, we've known you for years the last I.

Speaker 6 (22:43):
Said, who's Norman? For like fifteen this, I'm up to us?

Speaker 1 (22:45):
All yeah, but we well, yeah, how long were you
in metal? Fine?

Speaker 6 (22:49):
Then I probably sad like three four?

Speaker 1 (22:52):
Oh? We all assumed you guys showed up like I
thought we were. Ye, Lucas lived there forever I was.
Kyle was there. He showed up a little bit after
the try.

Speaker 6 (23:00):
I was eighteen.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
I'm thirty now.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
Yeah, and okay, so you guys have known crime for
a few years. I guess maybe it just feels like longer,
maybe because you constantly threatened to.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
Black or what if eighteen years in Goblin is like
shut the fuck out like a cat dog.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
Stop them Goblins.

Speaker 4 (23:19):
They have a different measurement of time, I assume.

Speaker 6 (23:21):
I mean, we'll just have different measurements.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
Yeah, yeah, we use we use inches and feet.

Speaker 4 (23:28):
No, no, no, we use we use meters and millimeters. They
use things like feet and toes.

Speaker 6 (23:32):
And no, goblins well measure things and increments of.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
How many favorite.

Speaker 6 (23:42):
That's everyone knows double is exactly five foot tall, so
the measure by five foot as.

Speaker 1 (23:50):
Seems like a tall uncle I made a dwarf. No,
I'm just saying fair feet.

Speaker 6 (23:58):
Oh well, how tall the dwarfs?

Speaker 1 (24:02):
I don't know. He kind of puts his hand on
top of his head. He's like, but'll be less than
five feet.

Speaker 6 (24:07):
Are almost all probably absolutely, And then crom will just
make a beer in handle a beer.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
I love Bravest Bears. And he chugs the whole thing
down on one slob. He's like, oh, I should freshness. Well,
how's the alcohol in it?

Speaker 6 (24:24):
Well, he's gotta make a DC twelve fortitude save He's
a dwarf, so he'll be fine and bring up his
step block.

Speaker 4 (24:33):
Only the dwarves naturally have a resistance alcohol.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
Oh yeah, He kind of slips. He's like, I should
not bad throw breakfast that show and he heads it
back to you.

Speaker 6 (24:41):
That's still a lot of the food. All right. Let's
stalks we're talking about.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
So it's entertaining called stunna gun.

Speaker 6 (24:48):
Stunna gun.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
It's up to maintains a baby. You can make a
wide bath around. There's Bustard Arcs kind of flips off
the direction of the camps.

Speaker 6 (24:59):
That's what got on a trip.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
Wait a minute, where are they all the way down here?
Did you guys ever find out?

Speaker 6 (25:06):
Uh no, but I'm prosser that what out there? Were
too far down the mouth and so.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
And the and there. You know what, maybe that's not
for us to find out. It just kind of starts walking.

Speaker 3 (25:21):
I also find it myself personally, find it kind of
convenient that they're down here where they shouldn't be, and
now there's also plans to attack the crown and then
the forest. I feel like everything's kind of connected.

Speaker 6 (25:34):
Maybe of the hemmer lorts are doing things that correspond
with the We should walk and talk like we're gonna
be forever for tip this up.

Speaker 4 (25:45):
While we're walking, I actually ask out, did you uh?
Did you run from a couple of ogres in the
forest at some point reaping?

Speaker 1 (25:54):
Chased?

Speaker 8 (25:56):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (25:56):
Not by ogre? SnO, our camp was attacked by orcs. Orcs? Sorry,
now they're all the same. Oh no they're not. You
ever fought a know girl? He remember? He kind of
stares off cuts a thousand yards stare. It was no, No,
a camp was attacked by orcs. Experienced ors? Okay, yeah,
I say they got me, pulled me up there, killed

(26:18):
my friends. So that was nice, all of them, I
think A couple of them.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
Go, well you were chased by a couple of them
at some point, right, Okay, Well I found your tracks
when that happened, so it's kind of how we found
our way over here.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
All right. Well, I suppose I am in a better
position and open up comps.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
So thinks I pull out my obscenely large, great accent
smack it against my hands.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
Well that's a shield and a stick in it. Yep, hey,
and he continues to walk into the forest.

Speaker 6 (26:50):
We're gonna have to talk about your monster racism at
some point.

Speaker 4 (26:54):
Right, honestly, out of character, I just got a mixed up, okay, rip, No,
I stripped. I got mixed up and just had the improvise.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
You know, it's crazy, like I was like riding with
you on that, and then Mike was like, no, no,
it wasn't scary.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
Completely mixed works.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
Can also be skinny, but just tall, very tall.

Speaker 1 (27:15):
I don't that's how the shamans were.

Speaker 4 (27:17):
Yeah, yeah, Actually, while we walk actually I want to
take that like sawed up blade that that shaman gave me,
and while we walk I'm just like walking with us, walking, walking, walking,
and on one of these steps, I just want to
swing my right knee up super high and just snap
the blade in half and toss the two sides off
the trailer we're walking on, throw them into the forest,

(27:38):
and I'll nod my like, I'll lower my head and
I'll like talk in my head.

Speaker 1 (27:41):
While we walk. Okay, what are you saying in your
head while you walk?

Speaker 4 (27:46):
I don't know who's listening, and I don't know if
this is even real, but uh, I'm shattered now, So
you can explain what that means. I would be useful.
If not, I get it. Maybe it's something I have
to find out on my own. But uh, also, if

(28:08):
you are real, Alan asked me to punish this guy,
and I gave him two clean ones. Should I give
him more? Should I not have done it?

Speaker 1 (28:21):
Am I honoring my friend's wish? Am I disrespecting you?
Is my new God? I don't know, but holl am
me and I'll raise my head. So what you feel
is kind of a juxtaposition, because you feel like all
parts of you are separated into the universe and a
thousand different pieces, But at the same time, you could
also feel all of them, So it's a weird feeling

(28:45):
of separate but whole. You know, like you are separated
from yourselves, but you're also one piece. You can feel
all of yourself, maybe for the first time in your life.
Maybe those pieces are not together, but you can feel
all of them at once. That's about all you get.

Speaker 4 (29:03):
Are are any of those pieces not currently attached to me?
It's just an ethereal spiritual feeling.

Speaker 6 (29:09):
So it's kind of like when you're at Best Finder,
it's like all the TVs that you're looking at.

Speaker 3 (29:15):
I'm not gonna responded, he gets that one because when
you said spiritual butthole.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Yes, you're all a bunch of toddlers, and I cannot
have a serious moment without you being like, that's funny.

Speaker 6 (29:33):
South Park Fractured but Hole is a good game.

Speaker 4 (29:35):
I've never played it, but I have watched.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
Players are really good. Alright, guys, that's the episode of
that's all the players deserve. To get everyone out. I'm
gonna play the rest of this with the audience. It's
a guy. I'm gonna roll for cal Survival. He died,
Roll for Lucas Survival. Oh, he died. Looked role for
calm croms. He's fine, d.

Speaker 6 (29:57):
All right, I love something well live, I'm just throwing new.

Speaker 4 (30:02):
Did the did Vorn even communicate back or was it
just a weird feeling I got?

Speaker 1 (30:07):
That was a feeling? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Other than that,
you're not really sure what it meant. That's just a
feeling that you were presented with.

Speaker 4 (30:15):
I lowered my head again. Well, good fucking answer, I guess,
and answer any of my questions.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
Did you say that out loud?

Speaker 1 (30:20):
No? You don't get a response this time.

Speaker 5 (30:24):
I expected that part of my attitude. And Dorlan is
walking along. He's like, this is sting spoted. That's a
weird ass flower. Oh there's a squirreling. Gee, fuck you
squirrel and he continues to walk along.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
The smell smell.

Speaker 6 (30:41):
Like squirrels.

Speaker 4 (30:44):
It tastes good.

Speaker 3 (30:45):
Yeah, about to say this swing your acts and I
don't have an ox. I don't have bad problems.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
Kyle offered his giant acts to grublem. You guys walk
for a number of hours, and it gets colder the
farther up you climb into the mountain. You're still on
a path, but the trees begin to become sparser and sparser.
The shrubbery begins to get thinner and smaller and fewer

(31:15):
in between. After a while you see the peaks of
some buildings that are collected amongst the rocks and the
shrubbery up top, and Durlan says, anything, let's just thrown again.
I think this is that, this is why we're supposed
to meet our commander and anybody else. You survived that attack,

(31:37):
which I think there was some. I know there was
let's see my friend and then I lady, we were
taking it range. I know they got tell you before
the hawks got to his So what about my artnomesis
the oh the ponflict guy. No, he was sent off
on a separate assignment, thankfully. I didn't like eat. It

(32:01):
was a share hey. Yeah, it was as staring at
people with him staring at me. Yeah, it made me
very uncomfortable. I'll tell you that I didn't like it
at all. So anyways, the frosty stein clever all right,
you kind of gesture to some of the light snow
that's gathered around. No stain like the frosty Steine that's

(32:24):
the name of the time, will not be good to
go to you. Maybe they got what cold door. I'm
sure they got cold bear. In fact, I heard that
they got a part of the wall carved out for
when it gets midwinter, some ice falls through and they
put a keg in it. Yeah. I don't know if
we're ready for that. Maybe we're too early in the season,
but that'd be nice, so let's go check it out.

(32:56):
So anyways, the frosty stein clever, all right, you kind
of just search to some of the light snow that's
gathered around the frost of the stone. No stain like
the crusty stain that's the name of the top, and
that we got to go to you maybe they got
what cold dillor I'm shure they got cold beer. In fact,
how they got a part of the wall carved ike

(33:17):
for when it gets midwinter, some ice bowls through and
they put a keg in it. Yeah, I don't know
if we're ready for that. Maybe we're too early in
the season, but it'd be nice, So let's go check
it out. And he takes his jacket kind of tightens
it up around himself.

Speaker 6 (33:33):
It's like that crime's gonna pull out that wolf pelt
that Lucas gave to him, and he's gonna.

Speaker 1 (33:38):
Like wrap it around himself, all right. So you guys
go in, and the tavern is a simple stone and
timber structure, a blazing hearth at the center, frost rimmed
windows frame the beautiful surrounding peaks that's around the tavern.
It's a surprisingly packed full can considering this location. And

(34:01):
you get the sense once you look around that everybody
in here are travelers. A lot of people have, you know,
like travelers clothes on, thick boots, clothes, and there's coat
hooks all along the entrance wall covered in coats, and
this is probably kind of a layway station for people
who are traveling through the mountains to kind of stop by,
get some food, get some drink, and that kind of stuff.

(34:24):
Do I see any other goblins in here? You do
not know. I would imagine most goblins there's probably spending
time in like either forests or you know, other places
like that that you guys don't typically go to the
mountains too often, although you have heard rumors of mountain
goblin clans, but you've never met any personally.

Speaker 6 (34:46):
Okay, CROM's gonna stay close to Kyle just in case
someone tries to knife them.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
Okay, And you, guys see at the tavern, the bar,
there is a very thick dwarf, very stout get a
long braided auburn beer streaked with gray, has a well
worn apron and has a smirk on his face. He's
he's slinging beers back and forth in well worn and

(35:14):
rough cups, have made of wood. Kinda gives you, guys
a nod as you come in, and some of the
wisp of the light snow curls in behind you, and
he's like, well, come in and welcome into the frosty stine.
What can I do for you?

Speaker 3 (35:29):
Pint?

Speaker 6 (35:31):
And no?

Speaker 1 (35:32):
Would you light tip? Be golder story? Golder story? Hey,
you go to the story good enough the plants feet.

Speaker 3 (35:42):
You know what, Kyle's gonna take a mental note of
this place, drot it down in the journal, and pay.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
With the gold. Okay, one gold, which, as you are
well aware, that's kind of expensive for a pint, but
you kind of also are aware that having to come
way up here, you know, people who want a pints
while traveling the Frosty Mountains will pay for its at home.
This isn't cold to me. And he's like, all right,
and he looks down at you Chrome, and goes about you.

(36:10):
I have well, all right, golden story star, give me
something good. He kind of leans down, strokes his long beard, which.

Speaker 6 (36:19):
You got, Chrome, will go and he'll grab a stool
and then climb up. I am now trying to tell
with a towel of gobble the worldship grim Ground sent
sum alright, grim Ground centersome. What's the smallest dopling of
his letter? Mostly considered a runt, but where his bottle

(36:43):
was two sizes too small, his heart was a hundred
times better. That's what I say.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
There's no this story.

Speaker 6 (36:56):
Oh that's a pretty good story.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
He turns around, puts a keg or stign up against
the keg, draws a little bit, turns down and hands
it to you. It's a half ft What if I
told you?

Speaker 4 (37:07):
What if I told you a story for a full pint?
I have no interest in drinking, but I know my
buddy here does sure story for the pan. So we
come from middle Finn and our home was attacked not
too long ago, so our home is no more. So
we kind of hold this story deeply. But I remember

(37:27):
us three long time ago, we were by the lake.
My family owned a fishery. So that's kind of what
I did for a living for a while. And I
remember I was casting my line out and I think
Kyle and crom were doing something. I don't remember what.
I think they were wrestling over a log or something

(37:48):
something young guys do.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (37:53):
That's how you know this story is true.

Speaker 1 (37:56):
But uh, I uh.

Speaker 4 (38:00):
Fishing, throwing my line out, and I remember hooking something
and start pulling it in, you know, pulled.

Speaker 1 (38:10):
It up, not other normal.

Speaker 4 (38:13):
Big you know, four pound bass, some fat threw it
up on the shore, walked back out.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
Oh yeah, he leans back in the Rutsville.

Speaker 4 (38:23):
Well, if I find any streams, I'll bring some back.
But I remember walking back out and it's almost like
I got yanked. All I know is I just went under,
had went under the water, lost my hat, couldn't see.

Speaker 1 (38:42):
Mud was everywhere, and.

Speaker 4 (38:46):
I remember hearing voices scream at me. I remember hearing
like horrors almost And yeah, it's kind of crazy, but uh,
Kyle pulled me out and you know, smacked the water

(39:06):
out of me. Basically, he's not very good at CPR
or the Heimlich maneuver, So if you're ever choking, he's
not your guy, but uh, the big one. Ah yeah,
But uh, what horrified me most is is a few
days ago, we were, you know, exploring something and we

(39:30):
came across a h unfortunately corrupted for a spirit and
it gave me a strange sense of deja vous because
those howls of.

Speaker 1 (39:43):
Pain and terror were identical.

Speaker 6 (39:48):
Yeah, and.

Speaker 4 (39:51):
Maybe maybe I'm just saying something to get it off
my mind, but ever since I heard that, I can't
feel like that lake was somehow corrupted, something was wrong
with it. You know, maybe I'm just over thinking it.
But if I were you, I'd be real careful out here.
Things things are getting weird. That's a hell of a study.

(40:11):
He turns around, draws the full pint, and then from
a different cast and hands it.

Speaker 1 (40:16):
He's like you gestures to grumb.

Speaker 4 (40:18):
Yeah, and I'll take the half, not wasting.

Speaker 1 (40:23):
Thank you and crumb. When you sip it, it is
delicious and spiced and it's it's almost it's cold, but
it warms you up while you drink it.

Speaker 6 (40:32):
I don't want to love.

Speaker 1 (40:35):
It's most special, dude. And for you, you get a
hero coin. Oh, thank you.

Speaker 4 (40:41):
That was a good toss, by the way, Actually that
was a sick. I wish we had cameras.

Speaker 1 (40:45):
That was a really cool day.

Speaker 4 (40:46):
We will someday, we will so thank you with your coin.

Speaker 1 (40:48):
And he looks at you and he goes, you know
what the story like that you should God put your
name on the ball and he points back and your
eye turns, and that's when you see it. There is
a corner of the tavern that has been opened up
to the air, and it looks like water has been
strategically poured to in case a large barrel in ice.

(41:11):
And next to it is a board with a bunch
of different notes on it. They leave your name, honey,
looks you come and kylie on you as well, leave
your name up here. Skin of a tradition. You stop up,
Pierre and you leave your name. Oh no, maybe a
note to a loaved one or someone who's lost, or
someone you hope to meet.

Speaker 4 (41:33):
I like, all right, yeah, I'll sign it. And I
walk over the board.

Speaker 1 (41:41):
Something catches your eye. It's one note among a hundred,
but you recognize the handwriting and it says, I'm so sorry.
I miss you both very much. I hope I can
find my way out of this mess. Signed Bell Belle.

(42:07):
Can I recall knowledge that it's your mother's handwriting. She
never went by Belle, not to you. Huh interesting.

Speaker 4 (42:25):
I walk up to the board, I write, Lucas, write
my name, sign it, and I write to those who
are lost. Look for thousands of pieces and play them together,
for only then may the map be formed.

Speaker 1 (42:45):
Period.

Speaker 6 (42:46):
I like it.

Speaker 3 (42:51):
Kyle walks up to the board and he sees the
paper and he finally takes up the courage to write
down the things he hasn't been able to say.

Speaker 1 (42:58):
That was on the wall.

Speaker 3 (43:00):
Well, it takes notes. Oh grabs the notes and he
starts to write.

Speaker 1 (43:05):
Right.

Speaker 3 (43:05):
So, Torbin, my father, I'm sorry. I was such a disappointment.
And if you ever see this, just know I am sorry,
and I hope you can grow to love the man
I've become. To my mother, Ylara, wherever you are, I
hope I find you again someday. To Kara, I miss you,

(43:27):
and I wish I could have told you how I
felt before I left. Things were just so crazy. Neither
one of us were ready for any form of commitment.
I don't even know if you liked me that way,
but I did. An Enoch, wherever you are. It's been
fifteen years since I've seen you, Ever since you disappeared

(43:48):
in my life's never been the same and always felt
like there was a void in my heart. How I
don't know if it was because I couldn't protect you
when you know, the wolves came and attacked. But all
I'm sorry I wasn't there. But I hope that you,
if you're alive, that you're well. And if you're not,

(44:10):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (44:12):
Look over your shoulder, Jesus, A note, not a fucking essay.

Speaker 1 (44:16):
A hand on your back. You look over you see, darling.
He looks like.

Speaker 6 (44:22):
I said that out loud.

Speaker 1 (44:23):
His own note. Well, he's reading over your shoulder and
I were reading it. Yeah, depends his own note on
the wall, He goes, I put my milk on this
place too. His notes says, I like beer. You get
a hero coin for that. Thank you.

Speaker 6 (44:40):
Crome goes up, Oh no, we're gonna die to that,
don't we.

Speaker 1 (44:45):
Shut up? To make my good then and then he
just right, well you brought snacks? You are you started
with two?

Speaker 6 (44:50):
Oh? That's fair, all right, And he just writes to
crom And then after that he writes, each day of
life that I live is a gift from the boulder.

Speaker 4 (45:00):
Oh wow, that's fucking deep.

Speaker 1 (45:05):
Nice guys, all three of you, like Wow, I like
it all right, told you we're gonna step it up.

Speaker 4 (45:12):
D M so much do you guys have like a bromance?

Speaker 1 (45:16):
It's crazy, like blow him up when you first met.

Speaker 3 (45:24):
You put your hand up because you miss him.

Speaker 1 (45:25):
He couldn't put his hand up, couch.

Speaker 6 (45:30):
It does like the flashback of like the three scenes
that you.

Speaker 1 (45:35):
I don't know why.

Speaker 4 (45:37):
I imagine like some cheesy narutol cut scene where he's
just like face down in the dirt, shitty drawing because
they couldn't have to take it.

Speaker 1 (45:44):
You didn't include the swing.

Speaker 6 (45:45):
That's a never cut scene really.

Speaker 1 (45:49):
And uh, Darlan's like looking at the board and well,
this was nice, but my people aren't here. Yeah, so
we need to find out if they did come here?
Dave School where I went?

Speaker 6 (46:01):
Can I find a SMA, Bill, Fris, Joe, you.

Speaker 1 (46:04):
Tell me what I mean. You guys are the ones
like fight, You're gonna die.

Speaker 3 (46:09):
I'm we leveled with you and he's now calm. I
walk that over to the barkeep l follows you.

Speaker 1 (46:17):
You finished the whole thing. You're feeling it, You're feeling.

Speaker 6 (46:22):
It the power of the sun, the palm of my hands.
The first time was the alchemistole.

Speaker 3 (46:31):
And uh he walks into the bar with you and
I go to barkeep yeah, like tossing two more gold coins,
one beer from me, one for darling.

Speaker 1 (46:39):
He serves him up.

Speaker 3 (46:43):
Let the foam really pour over? Question, have you seen
no Garlin? Correct me if I'm wrong. They all dwarfs.

Speaker 1 (46:53):
He looks presumptuous. I'm using that we only spend time
with dwarves. No, no, say not an assist dom. He
looks at the other dwarf. He's like, he's fucking non dwarfs.
What are you gonna do with then speak for yourself.
And then the bartender just shakes his head and he goes, no,
they weren't all drawers dogs right, we're looking jeez, looking

(47:15):
for my friend loof Loop and he's traveling with a lady.
Kind of looks the bartender. You see them. Bartender looks back.
He goes, I've I seen a guy on a woman,
a guy a woman.

Speaker 3 (47:33):
Do they have a any notable sigils on their armor,
such as like a red hammer?

Speaker 1 (47:40):
And the bartender thanks, and tur chimes in. He goes, no,
they probably tried to hide that, and the bartender goes,
who do you want to know?

Speaker 3 (47:50):
We're just looking for them, so we can, you know,
trying to get him back with his friends.

Speaker 1 (47:54):
Well, a deal in ales up. I don't exactly keep
drunk of everybody that comes through.

Speaker 3 (48:00):
Yeah, is there a tavern or an inn somewhere that
we can go and check out?

Speaker 4 (48:05):
Maybe stunning in it's standing in the middle of frozen mountains.

Speaker 1 (48:10):
Dude elbows us like.

Speaker 3 (48:16):
Kyle rolls his eyes.

Speaker 1 (48:19):
The bartenders is up wiping down the table toss another
gold piece, looks down and keeps walping. The table.

Speaker 3 (48:31):
Tosses another gold piece, puts down a juggernaut Mutagen What
I thought, this will make you strong, very strong.

Speaker 1 (48:46):
Persuasion. That got his attention. So let's see what you get.

Speaker 3 (48:51):
I hate my life. Where is it? That's my modifier?

Speaker 1 (49:00):
Man?

Speaker 6 (49:00):
Just wait till one of us actually makes a face
character and then we still flow our roles.

Speaker 4 (49:05):
Oh, I know I wanted that to be my next
character talking.

Speaker 3 (49:09):
It's gonna be a flat five.

Speaker 6 (49:11):
You might have to beat me to it depends on
who dies.

Speaker 1 (49:13):
I don't exactly need to get them all.

Speaker 3 (49:18):
Right, I grab it, put it back in my pocket.

Speaker 1 (49:22):
I'll put three gold pieces down to make a five total,
and uh, he kind of swipes them and puts them
in his pocket exactly, and then some mud pie on
it and he looks at yours. There was a guy
here by the name Off and he came through two

(49:43):
days ago with the lady. You have to know over that,
but he didn't. I thought that was strange. I thought
most people here leave a note. He's part of the experience.
But I did see them talking to a certain mind
by the name of war Nights. Uh, he's gonna run
a cat of I'm heading down in the valley.

Speaker 3 (50:02):
Do you know where they were meeting or if they
talked about like where they were.

Speaker 1 (50:07):
Going to go. I just know that yesterday the caravan
met outside on they headed dive in the mountain. Say
you know, chrome pop up in that map real quick.

Speaker 6 (50:16):
Brother, and Crome like pulls it out and unfurls it.

Speaker 1 (50:20):
Is there any like notable paths based on the direction.
He looks down and the map is not super accurate.
You know, it's not very detailed, but he does point
out to one road that's kind of leading down. It
does lay down the valley towards a metal fan and
all the other valley towns and not just metal fans. Sorry,

(50:42):
I met Wilson because that's like the largest town. To say, yo, man,
I can't offends a little more south in Wilson. But
there's there's multiple villages down in the valley, you know,
where the weather's more temperate. That's one of the main
thoroughfarees down there. And he's like, I think to swim,
that's caravan is getting up on this road to go
down and that do it?

Speaker 6 (51:10):
Do it? Come on?

Speaker 1 (51:14):
Cow?

Speaker 3 (51:14):
Did you pause?

Speaker 6 (51:15):
No?

Speaker 3 (51:16):
I am okays back? Sorry marked it it's a cut
yeah anyways, okay, So well, if you guys are roughly
what time is it, DM.

Speaker 1 (51:29):
I would say, you guys past noon? One pass noon? Damn,
we're day drinkers, bust. He looks abuse like up here
everybody is.

Speaker 6 (51:41):
A day.

Speaker 3 (51:43):
Especially when until nightfall cold.

Speaker 1 (51:47):
Does nothing to do.

Speaker 6 (51:49):
God, I hit the cold the alcohol outside of warm
drink too much of sweating liquid.

Speaker 1 (51:55):
Further, look at what liquor he's no, the wrong just
for weed bush.

Speaker 3 (52:01):
Let's slam another pint and guys want to make our
merry way.

Speaker 4 (52:07):
Charl I lean over the bar and I kind of
like wave the bar tender towards me, he leans, do
you have an upper because I've just I've I've been
going through it recently.

Speaker 1 (52:17):
Man, let me see got spice.

Speaker 4 (52:21):
I don't want I don't want product. I just want
to drink.

Speaker 3 (52:27):
I mean, I mean, Bill could be an oper unless
he's a depressive drinker.

Speaker 4 (52:33):
I don't want to find out.

Speaker 6 (52:35):
Just not a fellat to itself, like wild Stroad.

Speaker 1 (52:39):
He goes. Honestly, the last thing I have thought that's
probably gonna be the wood in your friend. Man, you
want what to do it?

Speaker 4 (52:46):
You said it's expensive and I don't got money.

Speaker 3 (52:48):
I actually I'm gonna tell you this tale of Kyle
conquer of the Drift.

Speaker 1 (52:57):
Hey, is it actually good? This day should be all right?

Speaker 6 (53:02):
Gets a gold ready.

Speaker 3 (53:06):
So there's a young a young lad by the name
of Kyle. He hit in his village. They have a
rite of passage that when you finally become a man,
you have to conquer something. Well, Kyle, there is this
there's this valley called the drift, and what it was
was when so strong, it would blow you away, literally

(53:26):
blow the clothes off of your body. And that was
what Kyle decided he was going to conquer. So time
and time again, he tried one attempt. He ran through
all his might. His clothes flew off, and then so
did he shortly after falling into a rock.

Speaker 2 (53:42):
He's got his wader.

Speaker 1 (53:43):
Of the.

Speaker 3 (53:50):
Attempt he ran. He thought he would be smart and
he would just grab the rocks as he'd go a
little behold his clothes began a parachute, and he flew back.
But then one final time he earned if you ligh
on the ground, the drift can't harm you. And Kyle
conquered the drift. Some cold a cheating, some say it
was smart, and that is how I became Kyle conquer

(54:12):
of the drift.

Speaker 1 (54:14):
Ay, that's well the paint. He turns around and pours
one and sets it down. Interesting that would there? You go?

Speaker 6 (54:21):
Oh so I got startless when to talk about yourself?

Speaker 3 (54:25):
No, it's when you have a beginning, middle, and end.
Crom not just he had a heart ten times.

Speaker 6 (54:32):
The side of his body, and then that also been
on the middle on that.

Speaker 3 (54:37):
Beginning to your first sentence.

Speaker 6 (54:39):
Oh no, that's a lot on the tub that I asked,
blow up?

Speaker 1 (54:42):
Wait wait didn't you see that?

Speaker 3 (54:45):
In Uh, it's a sensitive topic for him.

Speaker 6 (54:51):
Didn't you blow up the cave? So that tells uh
what was it? Drun Drive decided to reservoir just Orcs
and ogres because they were too far from us, and

(55:12):
they decided to move into our territory, and drum Drive
like that.

Speaker 1 (55:17):
Dealing with.

Speaker 3 (55:20):
Waitait, sorry, are there orcs down here too?

Speaker 1 (55:24):
Like close by, there's my cousins in trouble with people
traveling on the roads.

Speaker 3 (55:32):
This is also out of their territory, isn't it. So
they're making their weight down everywhere. Okay, okay, thank you,
that's all.

Speaker 6 (55:39):
Go ahead, continue, sure, okay, And so drum Drive met
with Ark at the side of the battle.

Speaker 1 (55:47):
Dround.

Speaker 6 (55:48):
It's gonna madisonton tone line? Still fine? So the cultivating stuff,
if there were finers, I don't remember if there other
farmers or not. I don't think to do that. But
first Dog and I stood back to prepare bombs, and uh,
I was testing an alchemist fire and then I was

(56:10):
like running, and then I tripped and dropped the bomb,
and the bomb rolled into our supplies and the founder
of the coat got root and collapsed sealed. Everybody on
the side except for me and I kind of I
couldn't do anything, so I didn't have any more bombs,

(56:31):
so I blow open the hole and all that was, wow,
why cry? Why to do it?

Speaker 4 (56:41):
How to hurt us?

Speaker 6 (56:44):
And then Crime starts to tear up and he like sits.

Speaker 3 (56:46):
Down on crumbs.

Speaker 1 (56:49):
The bartenders like looking back and forth between you guys.

Speaker 6 (56:51):
Okay, up, holding again my shoulder.

Speaker 1 (57:02):
The bartender pours another draft of that and then drinks
it himself.

Speaker 6 (57:07):
One and.

Speaker 3 (57:13):
It's okay.

Speaker 1 (57:15):
Very little buddy is like tapping, is trying to reach
would I would I would?

Speaker 3 (57:25):
Wait? Wait, wait, lets your singer song?

Speaker 1 (57:27):
Should we step outside?

Speaker 3 (57:32):
Shut up?

Speaker 1 (57:33):
Crom Mount? I stepped outside.

Speaker 6 (57:38):
Here? It's okay, and then krom clutches his necklace and
he just starts muttering and he like goes into the
fetal position in Kyle's arms.

Speaker 1 (57:50):
How did you do that?

Speaker 3 (57:51):
And the hell's patting your lower back.

Speaker 6 (57:59):
It's kind of like it's kind of holding a larger puppy.

Speaker 3 (58:02):
Yeah, pretty much.

Speaker 1 (58:04):
And the bartender just continues to drink down the one
here port for himself and he's like, whoa a lot.

Speaker 3 (58:13):
Just wait till each other and when we come back,
because we will come back. We're going to tell you
the story of the Fall and Rise in Metal Fin
Oh be waiting for Yeah, okay, So I walk outside
with Crumb.

Speaker 4 (58:26):
Okay, is there anything outside by the way when I
walk out there.

Speaker 1 (58:29):
So outside there is a kind of encampment area where
travelers can set up their tents. So there's probably a
dozen or so tense Each of them has a large
fire going.

Speaker 6 (58:39):
You know.

Speaker 1 (58:39):
It's where you know, they people park their horses or
their cattle or whatever, start large fires, build their tents
and then go into the tavern to drink and that
kind of stuff before they move on for the rest
of their journey. Gotcha. So that's what you see when
you guys go out during and kind of follows you
guys out, and he's like, any cool time because they

(59:02):
didn't bring a tint. We left our tint back on camp.

Speaker 3 (59:05):
I got a tinder pouch.

Speaker 1 (59:07):
They're not going to keep the snow off our arses.

Speaker 3 (59:09):
Oh you're right about that, aye?

Speaker 1 (59:11):
Yeah, I go when a beast Today.

Speaker 3 (59:13):
I walk back in holding Crumb as the barkeep. Do
you have any like nice tents.

Speaker 1 (59:20):
We can buy? No, don't we have that massive one
we could not carry? Oh that's right.

Speaker 6 (59:27):
That thing was twelve bulk.

Speaker 1 (59:29):
That's true.

Speaker 3 (59:30):
Yeah, I tried. No I can buy one.

Speaker 1 (59:33):
No, there's no stores up here, but I think there's
probably some of those gout tints out there that the wringe.
You have some space?

Speaker 3 (59:41):
Okay, all right, crumb, let's go.

Speaker 1 (59:44):
Well it's like I'm darling. Are we spinning today?

Speaker 3 (59:49):
Here?

Speaker 1 (59:49):
I thought we were moving on?

Speaker 3 (59:50):
We are moving on. I was asking you. You asked
about a tent.

Speaker 1 (59:53):
No, I said, we can't stay because we don't have
a tin.

Speaker 6 (59:57):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (59:57):
I thought you were asking me because you wanted to stay. Okay, No, no,
yeah we can.

Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
When they skinned live inside of mountains, we're supposed to
be in the heat, on the cold.

Speaker 4 (01:00:11):
Do we do we have any means to sleep outside
other than myself because I know I have, like I.

Speaker 3 (01:00:15):
Would sleeping bag on my.

Speaker 1 (01:00:18):
We need.

Speaker 3 (01:00:19):
I mean, I'm not.

Speaker 1 (01:00:20):
Sleeping out here, no temperate climates.

Speaker 3 (01:00:22):
But it's cold, yeah, like like I might be born
of the cold.

Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
How cold is it snow on the ground?

Speaker 6 (01:00:30):
Oh? Oh ship?

Speaker 1 (01:00:31):
Wow? Wow? Okay, so my mental image just got updated.
Oh ship, you.

Speaker 3 (01:00:37):
Climb up the frozen tundra, must be summer.

Speaker 4 (01:00:43):
You climb the frozen tundra, It's gonna kind of nippy
outside here.

Speaker 1 (01:00:47):
This should help. Let me change the lighting. Ah, yes, yes,
there we go. Oh so it's cold cold. The whole
room is blue now audience.

Speaker 6 (01:00:58):
Oh my god, weather outside is my astigmatism fires. So
it's not Christmas anymore. If you're a place to go,
let it's no lead, it's no lead, it's no I
hope that.

Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
Song is creative commons, non commercial.

Speaker 3 (01:01:18):
It should be fine. A five hundred different artists and
they can cover of it.

Speaker 1 (01:01:22):
So can we? What are you guys talking about?

Speaker 3 (01:01:28):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 4 (01:01:29):
No, you just start seeing a song.

Speaker 1 (01:01:32):
I look to the door and looks back and goes,
are we going? What do we do?

Speaker 6 (01:01:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:01:39):
Let's go.

Speaker 3 (01:01:40):
I start walking me.

Speaker 1 (01:01:40):
Technically i'm your prisoner, I guess, but.

Speaker 3 (01:01:45):
We kind of have common interest. Now, I'm sure you
want to figure out what the hell is going on to.

Speaker 1 (01:01:48):
Are we gonna skip over the fact we started singing
about snow and frights?

Speaker 6 (01:01:53):
As Kyle? Yeah, crossbar, Yeah, you got a course bool
for mesh.

Speaker 1 (01:02:06):
He grabs it. He's like, thank you very much, Like
it's very nice about it.

Speaker 6 (01:02:11):
That's closer to a myth. And then he pulls out
a corset knife.

Speaker 1 (01:02:15):
How many daggers do you have on your person?

Speaker 6 (01:02:17):
Was that it? That's the only knife that I have? Okay,
it's not there. Something's not my mouf.

Speaker 1 (01:02:22):
And he goes, I'm gonna go ahead and apologetes for
it now. And he reaches into his jacket and pulls
out your corset knife hand.

Speaker 6 (01:02:32):
He goes, you want to buck, I'm also throwing bombs
and an attempt to punch with bombs.

Speaker 1 (01:02:38):
He looks down at your going He's like, you have
fun with that, puts in his pocket. He's like, look,
I didn't know if you guys are ever gonna cut
my hands up. You know, I had to take it.
Took it when you gave me that hug. But did
appreciate the hug.

Speaker 6 (01:02:52):
This guy's club.

Speaker 4 (01:02:53):
That's why you rolled, dude?

Speaker 1 (01:02:56):
Is that not common sense?

Speaker 6 (01:02:57):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:02:57):
But I was like no, I was like, why did
he roll?

Speaker 1 (01:03:00):
I almost I wanted to.

Speaker 4 (01:03:00):
Call it out too, because I knew how you did it.

Speaker 6 (01:03:02):
I was like, oh, I mean it's it's common sense
to some people, but in character crom Yeah, no, meta,
he got like a twenty four stealth so yeah, just
like hug and hold the knife all right.

Speaker 1 (01:03:14):
He's like, yeah, well good I'm glad you're not my debate.
I could have went bid.

Speaker 6 (01:03:17):
No, I'm gonna go back to my mental angle, smile.
I don't mim sure, And then crom curls back up
into Kyle's arms.

Speaker 1 (01:03:25):
Yeah, it was Kyle holding it the whole time.

Speaker 6 (01:03:29):
It's just like it's like a child's reaching out and
trying to hand out God.

Speaker 1 (01:03:32):
I wish we had people like Withdrew moments. I want
to see a giant dude holding a goblin, handing across
though to a dwarf.

Speaker 4 (01:03:40):
Why is that remind me of that one piece of
art where it's like the angel lay on the cloud,
reaching down, reaching I talk about David.

Speaker 1 (01:03:49):
Right, h Yeah, No, Adam, it's creation, the creation of adage,
something like that.

Speaker 6 (01:03:55):
I don't know. We're not that cool.

Speaker 3 (01:03:56):
It's in the tenth Chapel trapel.

Speaker 1 (01:03:58):
Right, tenth chinch Paul McDonald, that's going on. You're looking
for Sistine Chapel? What Sistine I need?

Speaker 3 (01:04:16):
Would you like conversation about the pronunciation?

Speaker 1 (01:04:19):
I haven't before probably, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:04:23):
I thought it was like the Sli Chapel or something
like that.

Speaker 1 (01:04:26):
No, you're just adding syllables.

Speaker 3 (01:04:28):
It looks like a word of many syllables.

Speaker 1 (01:04:32):
It's amazing.

Speaker 3 (01:04:36):
Okay, am I chrome on my chesticles?

Speaker 6 (01:04:41):
P P.

Speaker 3 (01:04:45):
Remember do you remember what you told?

Speaker 9 (01:04:46):

Speaker 1 (01:04:47):
Sluednug just like Pele and me. So, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:04:54):
You're not a bad person. You just did that.

Speaker 1 (01:04:56):
A bad person getting cremated.

Speaker 4 (01:05:00):
What I said, You're only a bad person if you
get incriminated, because no one knows that he did it,
and the whole tavern knows that. Yeah, you're incriminating yourself,
you know what. I'm with a dwarf on this one.
I'm sorry I slugged you, dude, he kind of no.

Speaker 1 (01:05:17):
Thanks, brother, thank you. I want you to know that

(01:06:07):

Speaker 6 (01:06:13):
Over.

Speaker 3 (01:06:14):
You know, I don't know what I was expecting. I
had to do that, but that wasn't it.

Speaker 6 (01:06:20):
I thought about just saying like yo, Krom screams into
the abyss, but I was like.

Speaker 1 (01:06:24):
Nah, clearly the abyss was Kyle's chest.

Speaker 4 (01:06:27):
I mean, we've been talking about being more like in
the role play, and I think we're all doing a
really good job at.

Speaker 1 (01:06:31):
That, especially you Zaane. You haven't known me long. This
is me and my natural state.

Speaker 3 (01:06:37):

Speaker 1 (01:06:46):
Oh yeah, yeah, pretty much.

Speaker 3 (01:06:48):
Oh right, after waiting three hours outside the bar, well
Krump screams into my chest. Okay, buddy, I felt about it. Okay, good,

Speaker 6 (01:07:02):

Speaker 1 (01:07:18):
What I was just about to say that too.

Speaker 4 (01:07:19):
I was like, I want to figure about this whole
cricket situation.

Speaker 6 (01:07:22):
That's a long process.

Speaker 4 (01:07:24):
We got time.

Speaker 6 (01:07:25):
It's like all the boss of the lunch speaking to us.
I have been cough of it a while.

Speaker 1 (01:07:29):
Maybe we should do that.

Speaker 4 (01:07:30):
No, so is he one of those people like if
he calls you, you answered and have a conversation. If
you call him and gets mad.

Speaker 6 (01:07:36):

Speaker 1 (01:08:35):

he says to himself like I'm not stupid. Good, I'm
just okay. He's he's dummy good. I don't know about that.
Good boy. He's like eyeball on the tree line, you know,
the right.

Speaker 3 (01:09:07):
Kyle holds his axe and kind of it's a bow.

Speaker 4 (01:09:10):
Let's put it this way. I can hit a dinner
plate from four hundred feet?

Speaker 1 (01:09:15):
Why did you do that?

Speaker 6 (01:09:18):

Speaker 4 (01:09:43):
That's good any buddy, this guy, you're fucking annoying.

Speaker 1 (01:09:48):
I keep walking and he continues to walk as well.
After an hour or two, the light of the day
begins to fade a little bit faster than it's supposed to.
You guys know that you're heading down a hill, heading

(01:10:08):
away from the snow capped mountains, and it's supposed to
be getting warmer, but unfortunately it seems to be getting colder.
You feel the atmosphere pressure change as storm clouds roll
in above. It begins to snow a home and it

(01:10:29):
begins to snow even heavier. Ah at home, and it
starts to pick up. The wind starts to pick up slowly. Now,
as you guys continue along the road, you see a
cart ahead of you. Cart with no people, no horses,
no cattle. The cart seems to be stuck in a

(01:10:49):
snow drift on the side of the road. What do
you guys do.

Speaker 3 (01:10:54):
I've conquered drifts before my stealth.

Speaker 4 (01:10:58):
Oh, I've never stealth in the snow before.

Speaker 1 (01:11:01):
This is interesting. They were like brown and yeah, all right,
so what do you do?

Speaker 6 (01:11:08):
Specifically, Lucas.

Speaker 1 (01:11:11):
They begin to approach, I kind of just slink off
to the side. So the woods started to thicken up.
Versus up there by the tavern. There are completely it is,
there are trees, but the snow is starting to pick up,
the wind starting to pick up, the storm starting to
pick up. It's rain. Nice Sorry fireworks.

Speaker 4 (01:11:33):
I thought that was rain.

Speaker 6 (01:11:34):
It's not rain.

Speaker 4 (01:11:34):
Hitting the garage door.

Speaker 1 (01:11:35):
I was like, alright, so you guys see the cart
ahead of you. What do you do? Lucas zipped off
into the woods the stealth. What do you to?

Speaker 3 (01:11:45):
Kyle pulls out his axe and walks up.

Speaker 1 (01:11:48):
To the caravan. Okay, Derlin has the hand crossbow out,
the dagger in his left hand. You walk up and
you see that the wagon has its front left wheel
stuck in the snow. There's footsteps like in the snow
all around it. Some of the supplies on the wagon

(01:12:09):
has been kind of rifled through, but if you want
to look through it, you can't.

Speaker 3 (01:12:15):
I go ahead and roll perception to see if there's
any traps on any of the goods.

Speaker 1 (01:12:22):
Okay, can I do the same.

Speaker 3 (01:12:25):
There's going to be a twenty two.

Speaker 1 (01:12:27):
You do not notice any traps on the goods. What'd
you say?

Speaker 4 (01:12:30):
I said, I want to do the same thing, but
from a different angle. But he already DIDs a cool Okay, Yeah,
you don't see any traps on it. As far as
you can tell. It was probably part of that normal caravan.

Speaker 3 (01:12:38):
I take my axe and I like open up like
a bag to see what's in it.

Speaker 1 (01:12:42):
You open up the bags and there's uh's quite a
lot of stuff. The bag you open up had apples
in it, but there's other stuff amongst the goods. If
you want to rifle through which money you find a
locked strong box, locked strong box, one hundred pieces is
in silver, various pouches. You find two lesser healing potions.

(01:13:07):
You find on d silver.

Speaker 3 (01:13:11):
You said two lesser healing potions, correct, Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:13:25):
You find a little token that was in kind of
its own little bag that has a small tree carved
onto it and a roune carved on the other side.
You find a little stick that looks to be made
of some type of dark gray powder that's been compressed together,

(01:13:47):
that also has runes carved into it. And then you
find two sticks of wood that the ends are capped
with metal, that also have runes carved into it. You
find a I'm kit, one set of thieves tools expert quality,
one chain. And then among the more bulky things you

(01:14:08):
find four rolls of fine silk, two barrels of dwarf
and stout, no doubt, purchased from the tavern, and one
crate of spice.

Speaker 3 (01:14:17):
Oh, spice like drugs, No, just like spices.

Speaker 1 (01:14:22):
I will, I'll stand up out of the trees. How
does the snow look right now? The snow is getting worse,
The blizzard's picking up, the wind is picking up, and
it's getting harder and harder to see around you. Okay,
I run up to the car and I look inside. Okay,
you take a look around. See for anything that Kyle missed.
Did you see one little satchel it's gott like embroidered

(01:14:43):
flowers on it. That's about it other than the sacks
of apples and flower and the ale.

Speaker 4 (01:14:50):
I pick up the flowery satchel and I take two
apples and I start looking around for those trade the footprints.

Speaker 1 (01:14:58):
Okay, so the footprints you see there, they go, Well,
there's two different types of tracks or tracks that head
down the road. I don't remember if I said that,
but there are tracks that head down the road where
it looks like possibly the rest of the caravan went.
And then there are two sets of footprints that go
into the woods, possibly where people ran. The drivers of
the cart ran to escape the blizzard as it started
up after their cart got stuck. And Durlin starts to

(01:15:21):
freaking like, gay, he's just starting to get a real
colder in here. What do we do when we go?

Speaker 3 (01:15:26):
Ah, we can either fall a road or we can
see where these are walking into the forest.

Speaker 4 (01:15:31):
I'm like, just I'm on these footprints.

Speaker 3 (01:15:33):
Okay, Crump, get up here quick. I don't want to
losing the snow.

Speaker 6 (01:15:36):
Uh huh.

Speaker 1 (01:15:38):
And Durlin jogs up behind you, Lucas you guys continue
to walk along for a number of moments, the footprints
lead you into the snow and they are starting to fill,
so you know that they are going to fill up
pretty quick, but you're you're hoping that you can find
out wherever these people went, and you're hoping that they
went to safety. My walk goes to a jog. Okay,

(01:15:59):
as you can, you along, you come into a clearing
of the forest and you look up and in between
the trees you see kind of a rocky cliff face
and you're thinking that maybe this is the location of
a cave, maybe some boulders, you know, where you can
kind of get out of the wind, start a fire,
that kind of stuff. And ahead of you it's nearly
white out conditions. Right, you can hardly see other than
when the snow drifts kind of or not the snow drifts,

(01:16:22):
but at the sight of the cliffs peaked through. Other
than that, it's almost face to face with white snow.
But you do see ahead of you in the snow
what it seems to be a hand sticking out a
pile of snow, and you think that you don't know
if someone tripped or fell or snow fell off a
tree on top of them. Hey, hey, guys, there's a
there's a body out here. There's a is the hand moving,

(01:16:44):
it's not currently, it's just it's it's like up, like
as if someone was reaching out of the snow.

Speaker 3 (01:16:48):
I rush over to Lucas. All right, let's get hm out.
Let's get them out.

Speaker 1 (01:16:52):
Let's go, let's go, let's go. All right, who grabs it?
I will? Okay? You reach down, you grab the hand
and you begin to pull. You feel some type of
resistance and you you know you have to pull even
harder to get the person out of the snow, and
it breaks free. It's a dismembered arm, bloody at the
end from the trees, you guys, hear it, growl.

Speaker 4 (01:17:14):
I knock an arrow in turn to face it.

Speaker 3 (01:17:18):
Kyle about to throw up, looks up, throw up your walk.

Speaker 1 (01:17:24):
Like thar ago, Kyle. As you look up, you see
two eyes that are looking down at you from a
creature standing in between the trees. That is where we
are going to end.
