Speaker 1 (00:00):
Are you guys giving up on us? Doesn't answer my question.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
I even hear your question.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Are you guys really giving up on us?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Oh all right, here we are, you guys ready almost
done making a numb wizard? His name noam Chompsky.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Oh what's he for?

Speaker 3 (00:30):
I haven't made a yet.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Hum.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
It's like, originally it was going to be a psychic
and it was going to be puzzle or.

Speaker 4 (00:40):
Yeah, it was originally going to be a wizard called
puzzle or. But like I couldn't I couldn't like get
it to work. So I was like, you know, not
just making a numb wizard. And then I saw that
he had like a he had a feet called the
Razzle Dazzle.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
And it's a illicide.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
It's a free action.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
So if you blind, if you blind or dazzle, somebody
use Rastle dazzle and it extends the duration of their
afflict affliction by one round.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
That's amazing.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
Hit him with the old razzle dazzle.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
So what do you guys thinks coming up next?

Speaker 3 (01:13):
What are I thinks going to next?

Speaker 1 (01:14):
In the.

Speaker 5 (01:18):
Donuts?

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Well, I mean it wasn't outlandish.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
That's pretty good, honestly, I'm proud of them too, because
you already Hurtleberry, you.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Rag a muffin, you fucking toe rag.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Hm hmm. That would kind of hurt the most.

Speaker 5 (01:38):
Let's go to oblivion, you stuff right that you're criminals
call the law. Welcome to episode nine, where we sing

(02:00):
the intro song every time. Now apparently even so good.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
I can't help it.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
It took me a while to find that I get
so hyped just hearing it. Yeah, you know what I think.
At the end of this episode, I'm gonna put the
whole track so you guys can listen to the whole thing.
You've only heard like half I think if you there's
one episode where I let a good chunk of it
play out, But I'm gonna put the whole track at
the end. Just let it play and enjoy. But anyways,

(02:30):
I'm done you Master Mike for mythical misfits this episode nine,
I am with Kirby He's ain't and dom so Bustard
all right.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
When we last.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
Left our intrepid heroes, they had found a local hunter
by the name of Allen shadow Stride in the hallways
of a broken down and long abandoned temple of some
type ruins, stones crumbling around, more vines and moss than structure.

(03:01):
She said that she had been searching for the source
of the local corruption that had been taking over the
forest around and then she made her way into an
ante chamber where she encountered some type of figure that
attacked her and grievously wounded her. And these idiots around

(03:23):
me are dancing while I'm trying to do the intro.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Is why is the song?

Speaker 1 (03:28):
You guys said two?

Speaker 4 (03:31):
This song was stuck in my head the whole time
he started, So I just wanted to join the chicken wing.

Speaker 5 (03:39):
She wounded, show blood and wounds, and crowm tried to
heal her. Well, he gave her a life. She drank
it one D six, which is like a nice polite
kiss on the forehead after you've been shot by howitzer.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
Well, I mean it was just like a precursor because
I was gonna him to battle medicine, because that was
that was.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Gonna be like in case I fuck up, and I'll
assist because I'm trained in medicine.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
Damn, can you look up the rules on that, because
I'm not sure about the rules about assisting.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
It's crazy I'm also training medicine.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
And it applies a plus one. Right if you it's
the help action you have to roll. Okay, the rules
say roll a DC twenty, but I don't like that
most pathline or two e d ms or at least many.
I should say, go with the same DC that you're
applying to the person they're helping, because that just makes sense.
So that's how I rule it. And if you succeed,

(04:36):
you get a plus or the person you're helping gets
a plus one.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
There we go.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
I just remembered myself.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
So it says you try to help your ally with
the task, use this reaction. You must first prepare to help.
Usually by using this action during your turn, you must
explain to the gym exactly how you're trying to help,
and they determine whether you can aid or your ally.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
What's the medicine modifier.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Mine's plus six plus eight.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
I also have plus eight. I should be helping you then,
And you guys are some educated boys.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Not bad except for me. I only know war stuff
and more.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
That's still cool though, I mean that's that can be.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Very useful in path fighter.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
So yeah, critical success. You can enter ally a plus
two to the circumstance success plus one critical failure minus one.

Speaker 5 (05:15):
So I just want to point out in the way
that recall knowledge can work that hasn't really been used
at this table very much. Recall knowledge can and probably
should often be used in combat.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Yeah, I've thought about it, but I'm usually too scared
and night rage and Kyle won can't do anything but
attack when he's in raging. I'm just saying, I like, literally,
I will lose my ability to rage.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
So there's a lot of people who recommend instead of
doing a third attack if you happen to be standing still,
you know, instead of doing a third attack due to
the multiple attack penalty, which is a negative five added
on to the negative five. So your second attack is
it negative five, third attack is negative ten. People often
recommend you do recall knowledge or you know, various other

(05:57):
things there. You can intimidate, you can what's it called demoralize.
There's there's various things you can do instead of a
third attack. Now, I'm not telling you guys, if you
want to do the third attack, that's fine. Often as
playing as a monster monster then a monster. It's an
old school movie cheese. It's also a cheese, really good cheese.
That's really good cheese. I will do the third attack

(06:18):
because risky for the biscuit. And you know, especially if
it's a dumb monster, they're they're yeah, they're not gonna
try and to moralize you. Usually they're just gonna try
and bite you a lot of wolvers.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
So uh.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
But there are things you guys can do and recall.
Knowledge is definitely one of them, and it can provide
some good advice, you know, depending on how you guys roll.
I can give you guys the character their creature's weakness
or what it is. You know, it's temperament, what its
attitude is, et cetera, et cetera. With that being said,
we take ourselves back to the little hallway, the dank

(06:52):
and damp hallway with a very little light seeping through
the cracked ceiling of the falling ruins.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Crom How long is that a quicksilver portion you gave me?
But how long does it takes? What it expires?

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Like?

Speaker 3 (07:07):
How long do I have to actually use it? Though? Okay,
so tomorrow you can make me a new one. Okay,
I need to thank you, I will, I'm sorry. And
then yeah, so if you want to start off on
the ricon.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
Wait, so.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
A little lot more than and she uh kind of
looks at you and takes a deep breath. Yes.

Speaker 5 (07:36):
Absolutely, if you can provide it, that would be great.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
He's a doctor sometimes he actually has a PhD. He's
rather intelligent.

Speaker 5 (07:45):
Fortunately, I think we must not tell that, you know,
tell you too much, because I'm already the infection is
spreading too much. Something is happening, something, whatever dark ritual
is happening in that room, is getting stronger. She grits
her teeth and grabs her side.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Are you being effective of it by it somehow?

Speaker 5 (08:08):
No? My issue is off flesh and bone. Unfortunately it's
twenty three.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
Whoo all right, so you are.

Speaker 5 (08:18):
You sit down and you gently lift up her leather vest,
you know, with her nonverbal permission. Like you reach down
and you're like, can I do it? She's like, yeah, yeah,
I go ahead. She starts to lift the vest up,
and you see her shirt underneath. Her shirt is just
below her ribs is completely ripped open, and so is
her skin. And you're able to do your magic and

(08:41):
kind of suture the wounds, apply a little bit of
your medicinal alcohol that you're able to brew with your kits,
and you know, clean the wounds, and she grits her teeth,
has the splashes on the open wounds. Then you fix
her up pretty good. That's a that's a decent amount
of health for her. And she thanks you and she's

(09:01):
thank you so so very much, and she kind of
leans up against the wall and slowly pushes herself up
to a standing position and Lucas At this point, you
see her bow is unlike anything you've ever seen before.
It is gorgeous. Not only does it have silver inlay
along the shaft of the bow, it is curved and

(09:23):
it's just an absolutely beautiful bow. And she kind of
grabs it and stands up as straight as she can,
and she as she straightens herself out, it stretches the wounders.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Okay, be careful. He just he has a special sewing
method where he sews little lightning bolts. So you don't
want those to come out, she says, they make you
heal faster. I'm not that a rambo this time.

Speaker 5 (09:46):
That means you're happy, Oh, thank you, crumb, not happy yet,
but maybe if we're able to stop this. This forest
is beautiful to me and whoever, whoever made this happen.
I trying to kill it.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
I like her bow.

Speaker 5 (10:05):
She looks at her. Thank you very much. I appreciate
that it is. Uh, it served me well over the years.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
What was your name again?

Speaker 1 (10:13):
Sorry?

Speaker 5 (10:15):
Yes, Aileen shadows straight and she kind of reaches down,
grabs her quiver, puts on her back, grabs her rucksack,
puts on another shoulder. She goes, I don't know if
I can fight, but I will do my best to try.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
So.

Speaker 5 (10:31):
In the room, it's sometimes some type of chamber. There's
an obelisk in the center, and there's a figure there.
I have a suspicion.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
She coughs a little bit of blood spiders on her lips, and.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
She goes, I think that's a forest spirit. I think
it's being corrupted, like the plant life around here. And
she kind of points to the wall. And you guys
have been distracted by her, you know, of course, walking
into the hallway, hearing a voice talking to you, the
trapalking up to her seeing her. So now that you
actually pay attention, you look at the wall and you
notice that the moss on the wall is black. The

(11:08):
vines are black and are seeping black liquid.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Can I pull the vines out of my bag that
I collected from the outside earlier?

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (11:17):
Are they still green?

Speaker 5 (11:18):
You collected moss, and the moss you have that you
collected earlier is starting to turn gray.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Oh, this was collected about two hours ago from the entrance.

Speaker 5 (11:31):
And she looks at it and she goes ah, liking, Yes,
that's not been gray as you are. I'm assuming you're
aware that that stuff should stay green, even if it's
dried up, nearly dead, it should be green.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
That's why I took it. I was gonna make a
suit out of it, but it's kind of no.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
This stuck.

Speaker 5 (11:47):
This ritual is poisoning my forest, poisoning the land. Are
you all from Lurian, which is the kingdom that you're in.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
Yeah, we're from metal Fence specifically.

Speaker 5 (11:59):
All right, whoever's doing this is poisoning our great country.
We need to stop it and find out who did it.
She coughs a little bit.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
I thought you probably about them.

Speaker 5 (12:16):
Or I don't know if you can take what's ahead
by yourselves, but you are in no condition to fight.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
How about this?

Speaker 5 (12:25):
Boys, If I can, I'll go to the door and
if the situation turns sour.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
I'll do what I can to help deal fair. You
better try to hide.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
I'll do my best.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Here in my hand are my last elixir of life.

Speaker 5 (12:41):
And she looks at it trepidaciously.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Are you sure? Just in case if you have to
get in the fray, you're gonna need it. Your name
was Kyle, right, Kyle Kyle? Well if you insist, But
she looks at it with I grab her hand and
I put it in her hand and I walked start
walking away.

Speaker 5 (13:01):
And she takes it with a sigh and kind of
like looks at you chrome because you're, you know, the
one that held her up. And she looks at it
and she just goes it, puts it in her bag
a little hesitantly.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
I'm probably gonna regret this.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Man.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
I have a question. Could I leave my bag at
the door with you. I'm just gonna take my boat
and quiver and whatever's on my belt And she said,
of course, yes, I yes, Okay, that's fine. Chrum. You
said you can make those every day, right, you said
the last ten minutes. It just makes me lighter, faster, stronger.

(13:37):
Let's let's got it. Some side effects, okay? Will they
affect me in.

Speaker 6 (13:42):
Anyway, dona, dona, They're gonna hurt at first, but further
red us lies losing mass, but a tot of.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
I don't know the losing mouse. So the time of
louder Okay, look to do my stuff that's in mass
gaming gas.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
What does like energy to be stronger?

Speaker 3 (14:05):
That's got a mouse run through it. I at that
little a massive out of dust, A little pink.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
Blob told me at one time.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Sounds good. Okay, it sounds like a level of post great.
Quite the skilled alchemist saw you. What's an alchemist? He's
a PhD in bomb. He makes bombs.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
He's a bomb maker, and sometimes those bombs heal people.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
Yes, yeah, don't question it.

Speaker 6 (14:26):
Well, I love the door, but before the sill drugs flap.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
Talking about.

Speaker 5 (14:39):
Cross the fourth wall break is incredible and she just
kind of nods. And the hallway leads to another similar
stone door, and this one's cracked open, and as you
guys are walking towards it, she says, I have the
sense that this area used to provide life for the

(15:02):
forest around. If you guys notice how verdant the forest
is here, well, how vibrant it used to be. Why
do you think that we set up a logging camp before.
The trees here grow faster than anywhere else. I'll be honest,
We're not from here. I'm not much of a nature
person myself, especially where I come from. Everything was white
and snowy.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Lucas, my friend here, he is more of the nature guy,
and he did when we came in. He has noticed
it's a little different than what he's used to.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
I just chalked it up to the new environment. I really,
I don't know from what I've learned. The nature isn't
very hostile here. Seems pretty tame, or for that wolf.
Except for that wolf, yeah, exactly. Her eyes kind of
light up a little bit. She goes, Yes, the wolves,
the wolves here. I don't know if you spent much
time in nature, but the wolves they're not.

Speaker 5 (15:52):
They're not bad. They're part of nature like everything else.
They hunt, but they typically leave people alone. Yeah, the
ones around here, they have been nasty with this whatever
this is. It is poison, she says, with a little
bit of, you know, intensity in her voice.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
You could tell she's irritated. But I would be careful.
You still have like half open wounds in your chest.
Takes a deep wet breath.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
Yeah, with a rainbow stitch and you know those rainbows
are you?

Speaker 3 (16:21):
It's a he did you really good? He got a
lightening and I pointed, Kyle, yeah, and you know, and
it's still bleeding? Is it? Really? It was?

Speaker 1 (16:32):
He just he failed at closing the wound and just
kept going. He completely missed where the wound started. Anyways,
don't fret. We will do what we can do.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
She looks as I wish you the best of luck.
We need to stump this.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
And just remember if you need to come in pop
that healing, it looks her life. And uh do what
you can to stay concealed and ought shot.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
And any reason, for any reason, you need anything from
my bag, you are more than welcome. I also have
healing flasks in there.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
I've ever losed a bomb before. Oh, I actually have notes.
What's your lats?

Speaker 1 (17:10):
Uh sure? What's it on the arrow? What's it on
the arrow?

Speaker 6 (17:14):
I don't know?

Speaker 3 (17:14):
That's that's a dumb roll.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Bro on real quick? Can we make that a thing
where chrom breaks the fourth? I love that so much,
so much fun. I forget to stop doing.

Speaker 5 (17:28):
The voice, you just you just forget to start doing
the Kirby voice, your human impression, key's lacking bro much.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
She looks jews. She goes, what what bomb do you
have for me?

Speaker 3 (17:46):
An alchemists fire? You are an alchemist? I knew it. Yes,
I'll take the alchemist's fire and she grabs it.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
What's it look like?

Speaker 3 (17:58):
Uh so, it's like a.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
It's like one of those like like a stereotypical potion bottle,
but the liquid is clear and there's just a bunch
of smiley faces drawn on the bottle itself.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
Is a bottle circular instead of like a vial. Yeah,
thank you, all right. I'd like to imagine Chrome would
put like a piece of twine in there to act
like a fuse.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
I honestly thought you were just gonna give her that
was actually.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
Gonna be a joke. I was gonna make later on. Sorry.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
And she takes it and she's like, okay, what do
I do with it?

Speaker 1 (18:32):
Just throw it?

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Okay, not at us. I figured it with the name Faya.
But you gotta be careful because it has an area.
It's an area of effect. It will hurt us.

Speaker 5 (18:42):
All you see kind of a look of concern wash
over her and thought and she kind of like stares
off in the distance for a second, and she kind
of her eyes rise up to you guys, and she goes,
I know you don't owe me or this forest anything,
but can I ask something of you?

Speaker 3 (18:58):
You men sure don't have a lot of money, so
hopefully it's not coin.

Speaker 5 (19:02):
It's not coin. Oh, of course, when this is over,
when we stop what is happening here, can you help
me find who did it and make them pay?

Speaker 3 (19:14):
Of course, ideally that's the goal.

Speaker 6 (19:16):
Yeah, thank you all the rather of consciouses that have
been happening over the past couple of days.

Speaker 3 (19:23):
Our past love of the sun, that's true. Perhaps perhaps
the gods smile on us. Who do you pray to?
The ussa? The whisper and flown? When the fuck did
you start doing that? Yeah? You know, notice respicerespect, no disrespect,
no disrespect, notice repect.

Speaker 5 (19:39):
I have a question for you, hunter, absolutely, how do
you not see the dependent on his neck?

Speaker 3 (19:44):
Well, initially I didn't want to judge. I thought he
just got it because it looked pretty. He never informed
us of religion, which I'm not promise.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Full of bold choices, and I thought fashion.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
Might have been a new one, and he he was
having a bit of a I I wouldn't say it's
a fait, it's not a fit. He was in distress,
and I believe he was trying to cope with withermentation.

Speaker 6 (20:05):
I guess so that's so it started earlier today when
when he had that visitor.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
Was the other day that was here for a while.
It was it was I'm sorry, time has lost. It's okay,
you're you're a little busy in the head. I get
wine till time. But I was letting on an as.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
Have a watch watch this guy for the sun, said.

Speaker 3 (20:39):
It doesn't It doesn't help the fact of the last
time I tried to the finger t you know, you
put your hand up against the sun, and last time
he did, I smacked his own hand into his face.
So it doesn't really help. But yeah, trust I love
you so much.

Speaker 6 (20:51):
But but I was letting on an alid talking to
mister Rists. Mister Rists is an allot tat. I was asked,
mister know what happened about after death? And who just
been out and walked the road? Well, some of those
language means, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (21:05):
Perhaps it was a lot said in that. Yeah, problems
are wiser than we give them credit for.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
I believe that.

Speaker 6 (21:14):
But then the visitor showed up and I asked him
for the know where the temple was, because like I was, no, no, no,
I asked him, I know, and he told me about
a temple. And then so I went to the temple
and I talked to the small little and a little
told me to print and the rest of the whispering
flam and I told her, I don't know how to
pro that's just like whisper it to the fire.

Speaker 3 (21:33):
And I so that's what I did.

Speaker 5 (21:37):
I understand, small friend. I pray to Oran.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
It was loud.

Speaker 5 (21:41):
The god of nature represents the wrong tamed power of
nature that's all around us. And I don't think that
Oran is very happy what's happening right now. I think
that we need to stop this to please show it.
So if we may start this off, Yeah, all right,

(22:05):
I take lead. I walk in the room and I
pop my what's it called juggernaut mutagen?

Speaker 2 (22:13):
You push open the door. I'm assuming bye, you said,
walk in.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
The room, and as I opened the door, the.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
Door slides open. Let me activate the map for you, gentlemen,
so you can see what we're looking at.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
I would be in the very very rear dropping my bag.
Next to I'm a punk. I can't remember her name
for the life of me. Aileen a e l y
n Alen Aileen Shadow Stride. As you slide open the door,
you see a tall stone obelisk with various carvings of vines, leaves,

(22:54):
and figures on it.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
The top of.

Speaker 5 (22:58):
The obelisk exudes a peaceful light blue glow and mist
that flows down like a small water fall in the
carvings of the front, as if it was intentionally designed
to imbue to allow this beauty to flow down. Halfway

(23:19):
down the obelisk, however, something seems to be attached to
the stone where this light blue mist flows into, and
as it pours out of that's something. It's a black,
inky echar. As it flows down the obelisk and onto
the ground, black tendrils pulsated out into the earth surrounding
the obelisk. You guys, hear a mournful wail coming from

(23:43):
the room as it cries out at the horror that
is happening to the nature around you.

Speaker 7 (24:13):
Mus Us us luscus.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
Us us us.

Speaker 5 (26:05):
As you slide open the door, you see a tall
stone obelisk with various carvings of vines, leaves, and figures
on it. The top of the obelisk exudes a peaceful,
light blue glow and mist that flows down like a

(26:26):
small water fall in the carvings of the front, as
if it was intentionally designed to imbue to allow this
beauty to flow down. Halfway down the obelisk, however, something
seems to be attached to the stone where this light
blue mist flows into, and as it pours out of
that something, it's a black, inky echar. As it flows

(26:50):
down the obelisk and onto the ground, black tendrils pulsate
out into the earth surrounding the obelisk. You, guys, hear
a mournful whale coming from the room as it cries
out at the horror that is happening to the nature
around you. Let's go ahead and roll initiative.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
Get everybody before we do that, though, I would like
to two things. I want to use the quick sellar flask,
so I want to figure out how we roll that
damage real quick, because I don't recall how it's done.
And then I would also like to stealth before we
even enter the room.

Speaker 5 (27:24):
You specifically said you're gonna be standing in the back,
so I'll allow you cool.

Speaker 3 (27:29):
Uh, I thought i'd take damage when I use the potion.
Oh no, you don't roll damage, you just take you
just take Oh I just take eight damage. Yeah?

Speaker 2 (27:35):
Oh good, god.

Speaker 5 (27:36):
Doub your levels. Yeah, you're straight, So you take eight damage.
So that's gonna be You're gonna be at forty eight health.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
I'll set that for you.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
You have a plus two to your acrobatics, stealth, thievery
reflex saves and decks based attack rolls, and then you
have plus ten to your speed.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
Wow that's really strong. Wait yeah you said I have
a plus how much my my decks already attacks to.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
Damage or two to hit to hit. I have a
plus twelve right now.

Speaker 3 (28:06):
Wow, you're welcome.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
That is ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (28:08):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (28:09):
I mean that's the trade off for the damage. That's
that's a very goes with your level.

Speaker 3 (28:13):
So it's like, God, I love Pathfinder. That's a mass.
Math is so good.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
No, it's not.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
We all fail. No, you guys are bad at math,
but the game is great at math.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Oh yeah yeah.

Speaker 5 (28:25):
Like if someone were to sit down and do all
the math of some other popular tabletop games and Pathfinder,
Pathfinder math is like tight, it's like legos. Okay, it's
not fucking mega blocks, pathfinders, legos.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
It just be clicking it.

Speaker 3 (28:42):
Do roll my stelef hommy remember plus two to fortitude
your modifiers eleven say it one name and.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
Now it's eleven plus two item bonus to four.

Speaker 5 (28:51):
I'm just gonna tell you you feel like shadows themselves.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
Oh yeah, yeah, And I have ten temporary points and
as long as those temporary ten temporary hit points don't
get diminished, they refill.

Speaker 5 (29:04):
All right, everyone, what is your initiative numbers?

Speaker 1 (29:06):
Twenty seven?

Speaker 2 (29:08):
Question for you?

Speaker 3 (29:09):
Yep, since I am rolling stealth, may I use stealth
as my initiative?

Speaker 5 (29:14):
You absolutely can. That's another thing a pathfinder, So typically
perception is used as perception, right, it's an initiative generally
just like five y. However, in Pathfinder you can use
other initiative or other things, other skills if you have
to specifically be doing something that is appropriate. Since Lucas

(29:36):
specifically asked to stealth prior to combat, right before combat,
and he asked, if he can, you know, use that
at his as his initiative, absolutely makes sense.

Speaker 3 (29:48):
So then I'd like to announce I just rolled thirty
on initiative.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
Holy hel is that at.

Speaker 1 (29:54):
First thirty year roll that yeah, initiative, that's our initiative. Yeah,
I've gotten twenty nine times and this is the first
time anyone any one of you guys have beaten you initiative.

Speaker 5 (30:03):
So numbers are gonna start going up. Pathfinder numbers get crazy,
do they?

Speaker 3 (30:07):
Yes? They do.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
Like the ice don't change, but the modifiers.

Speaker 3 (30:10):
Do, baby, Yes, level ten, Like what are you looking at?

Speaker 5 (30:12):
You should see Kyle at level ten, it gets crazy.
Dom is saying that because of the wonderful and free
tool path Builder, you can build your character all the
way up to level twenty and see what they're gonna
look like as they level up. It's awesome, all right,
So Kyle your initiative twenty seven twenty.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
Seven crump fourteen.

Speaker 5 (30:33):
Oh that's points scoop way, buddy. So as you walk in, Kyle,
you see this figure like kind of holding on to
the obelisk as it moves around, and it lets out
that mournful wail with the black ink and ichor seeping

(30:54):
out of its eyes, wrapping its body around.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
It screeches in pain. Lucas you are first up.

Speaker 3 (31:01):
So, since I'm no longer hunting and the only enemy
I can see is the one right in front of us?

Speaker 2 (31:06):
Correct?

Speaker 3 (31:07):
Okay, so I'm going to hunt prey. I'm gonna make
that my prey. Okay, I'm no longer tracking the election one,
and then I'm going to Hunter's aim.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
I can't remember what my distance is for the long bown.

Speaker 3 (31:19):
And twenty Yeah, it's like it's crazy. Well, she's only
seventy five feet away. So with far shot, all my
increments are doubled. Oh my god. And with hundred with Hunters,
I skip, I skip my first interval, but all my
intervals are doubled. So I can hit someone from four
hundred and eighty almost five hundred feet away and not
take a penalty.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
And you're level four.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
Yeah, I can't get that far obviously, But that Lucaspen
his parents were secretly elves, secretly elves. Yes, Lego, listen, Lego,
All right, lego, l oh, you know he did.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
Twenty nine to hit?

Speaker 1 (32:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (32:04):
Is it not a crid?

Speaker 1 (32:05):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (32:06):
Okay, this thing.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
Has at least twenty ac.

Speaker 3 (32:10):
I'm not gonna hit. Let me hit.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
That's one damage, so seven damage. Okay. Arrow flies through
and hits the creature and it screases.

Speaker 5 (32:28):
And it doesn't seem to be too affected. Is that
the end of your turn? That is the okay, all
three actions.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
Unless the quicksilver gives me anything else. No, okay, an
extra action, super rare. Yeah, that's why you have to
like build characters in order to get it. It's it's
not very common at all, Kyle euro Upe.

Speaker 1 (32:43):
So I'm gonna go ahead and stride. Oh my gosh.

Speaker 5 (32:47):
So these stone walls you can see over them, but
it will take.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
An action to vault over them. You can walk in
between them.

Speaker 5 (32:54):
Five So there are circular ruined stone walls surrounding the
obelisk in the center that their characters are either going
to have to climb over or walk in between.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
Question does this enemy have covered?

Speaker 1 (33:07):
You know?

Speaker 5 (33:08):
I'll say she's next to it. I think I use
the verbiage next to I've.

Speaker 1 (33:11):
Already strided twice.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
Wait, why didn't you just use your frenzy.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
Charge because it's still stride twice an attack itself to
stry again to get to her.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
Oh yeah, and how many actions is two? So then
stride once frenchy charge.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
He's already used two actions. Yeah, that's right. You can't
reckon that can pass.

Speaker 1 (33:31):
Anything about that? No, my last action, I'm going to
create diversion. So I'm going to yell out this thing
to gather its attention, even though I am right in
front of it. I wanted to keep its eyes on me,
all right, So I need to.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
I tempt to make perceptions check.

Speaker 1 (33:47):
I do a perception check against their perception DC.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
Ye, deception check against their perception D.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
That is going to be in nineteen.

Speaker 3 (33:58):
So what do you do to try and distracted?

Speaker 1 (34:00):
I yell at it and I cling my I take
my axe and I start smacking it against the stone
to make sure that its attention is on me and
it's focusing me, Because it seems like it's kind of
mindless and just in agonizing pains. I wanted to make
sure it's focused on me and its own pain.

Speaker 3 (34:14):
Okay, you do that, and it does not pay.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
Any more attention to you than it already was.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
I failed.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
Yes, it's the end of your turn, yep. Okay.

Speaker 5 (34:25):
While it is not technically distracted by you, you did
approach it. It begins to scratch and twitch. As you
get close. It moves its hand and an orb of
light starts to come out of its hand, but it
is quickly enveloped in the ichor and the black ink
that's taking over its body before it flies across and

(34:48):
attempts to hit you. What's your race here right now?

Speaker 2 (34:53):
Nineteen?

Speaker 3 (34:54):
Even with the modifier.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
I took the juggernaut, meuta gin juggernaut.

Speaker 5 (34:57):
Okay, fortitude's got okay, so it's so it's nineteen. It
critically strikes as this ball of light wrapped in black
ink strikes you.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
Let me read this correctly.

Speaker 3 (35:12):
I'm just gonna say that I really hope you that
second sheet pulled up.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
I'm just gonna say, shut up, Kyle's not dying today.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
I agree, he's not.

Speaker 5 (35:24):
You take ten points of mental okay, oh okay, that's man,
twelve points of fire, oh and ten points of vitality damage.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
So six, twelve and ten.

Speaker 5 (35:35):
It's thirty two total six sixteen ten or ten plus
twelve plus twelve?

Speaker 1 (35:41):
How many total?

Speaker 2 (35:42):
Thirty two thirty two.

Speaker 5 (35:43):
As this black orb hits you, the tendrils wrap around
your body and sink into your skin. As you guys
see the black ink, you'll flood his vings.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
Yucky, you just got objected with black tar hair.

Speaker 1 (36:00):
I thank god I had sixteen timpel IMT's help you
out right now thirty seven of sixty four.

Speaker 2 (36:06):
And then the creature begins to cry loudly.

Speaker 1 (36:13):
I need you to make a will save twenty.

Speaker 5 (36:16):
The cries of this magical creature are more powerful than
anything you've ever experienced in life. They begin to slowly
penetrate your ears, and not only your ears, but your soul.
But you're able to strengthen yourself and fight it off,

(36:37):
but barely.

Speaker 1 (36:39):
All Right, guys, I was that a meats It beats
a moment, Yeah, okay, all.

Speaker 3 (36:45):
Right, all right, I we really got to strategize this.

Speaker 2 (36:49):
We really got to think about this.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
Yeah, I didn't.

Speaker 5 (36:52):
And that's the end of its turn. Chrumb you're up.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
We'll see it happened, crom.

Speaker 3 (36:56):
I strive twice.

Speaker 4 (36:58):
All right, I'm going to do quick bomber. I'm going
to make a versatile vial and throw it.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
Let's see a chrome.

Speaker 3 (37:09):
Oh that hits can be damage, big number.

Speaker 4 (37:12):
So the versatile vial is what I use to make
other bombs. But I can use quick bombing to make
versatile vials and just use those as bombs. What I'm
doing right now is I'm fishing to see if I
can figure out a weakness between electric fire and cold
and as it.

Speaker 3 (37:28):
So it's like a skeleton key of bombs basically.

Speaker 1 (37:32):
Yeah, I like that.

Speaker 3 (37:33):
I like that last so versatile vials. Does that do
like damage of all types? Or I choose the damage?
Oh what did you choose? That's electric electric? Okay, you
don't see it particularly affecting it.

Speaker 4 (37:44):
Okay, yeah, this will be five electric plus two electric splash.

Speaker 5 (37:50):
Okay, so that is seven total.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
Alrighty, no, you showed that thing.

Speaker 1 (37:56):
Man, nothing's hard.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
Okay, it got hard. Did the turn?

Speaker 4 (38:01):
Oh yeah, that's the end of my Okay, I stroll
twice and then clicked momb right Lucas Europe.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
Okay, So first action, I'm going to stride over to
the right. I wanted to get behind that pillar, but
I don't now that. You say that's not like.

Speaker 5 (38:16):
So pillar is different than the small walls in the
center of the room. Okay, yeah, pillar counts as at
least lesser covered too. Is that a pillar at least?

Speaker 2 (38:26):
Yes? Okay, cool, like a wall of some sort.

Speaker 3 (38:28):
Yeah, okay, so first action, it's still hunted, so I
know where it's at. I'm gonna Hunter's name, but I'm
gonna be using an antler errow. Okay, so I negate
the cover that it may be getting. I'm alosto gonna
switch dice because this dice doesn't need to be very
happy with me right now. And I'm glad I did
because that's a nineteen plus twelve. Okay, So crit that
does hit antler is so they save it does no

(38:52):
damage if it hits them, I have to use another
action to activate it. The target must succeed a DC
sixteen reflex safe or become stuck to the surface taking
the critical specialization effects.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
Of a bow that one.

Speaker 3 (39:05):
Oh god, bless, God bless.

Speaker 1 (39:09):
Okay, so what it's the critical critical specialization of the
bow deadly D ten.

Speaker 3 (39:12):
But I don't think I do damage with this.

Speaker 5 (39:16):
Uh No, the arrow specifically does not do damage.

Speaker 3 (39:18):
You don't get creat damage, so it.

Speaker 5 (39:20):
Doesn't take any damage, but it does get stuck.

Speaker 3 (39:23):
Well, I have to use an action on or refer
to the arrow to activate. I'm assuming you're gun Yeah,
I'm going to sense I just oh no, I have
to have the specialization, which is that level fly, So
technically maybe you have to check. Yeah, technically the arrow
does nothing, but they have to make the reflex savee,
which you said they failed to.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
Correct with an apple.

Speaker 3 (39:40):
Yeah. Okay, yeah, so then the arrow is just in
them and next turn, I'll use my action and I'll
lock them down. Was that all three of your actions?

Speaker 2 (39:48):
Yea, right, right?

Speaker 5 (39:50):
Okay, so yeah, you got it stuck in this figure,
and I'm thinking that, sure it can move now, but
as soon as you activate it, it'll go like yeah
and smash it to the like yes, hook it to
the ground.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
All right, Kyle, you're up.

Speaker 1 (40:05):
All right? Yolo, right, we ball? All right. So I'm
gonna sudden charge this thing. I know, I'm really close
to it, but it's the only either way. I gonn
use two actions to stride and attacks. Might as well's
two actions to stride an attack anyways, yep, So sudden charge.
Gonna go ahead and just move real quick, because why not.

Speaker 3 (40:20):
Don't you have a bonus dam if you stride? But
I think it's something else. Yeah, that roll ain't busting.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
There, No, it ain't busting. But I think it's barely
gonna hit.

Speaker 3 (40:30):
Let him hit the math, let him hit shorty.

Speaker 1 (40:33):
It's eleven fifteen.

Speaker 5 (40:36):
Nope, So you run up to it and strike and
it twitches out of the ways. Your extra shit shatters
and hits the stone of the obelist sparking.

Speaker 1 (40:46):
I need to check something.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
That's two of three.

Speaker 3 (40:49):
This is what goth women look like, pale, crazy, black eyeliner.
I can fix her.

Speaker 1 (41:00):
I wish what makes it to where an ability or
a skill doesn't get affected by MAP?

Speaker 3 (41:07):
What what makes.

Speaker 1 (41:08):
It get affected by mass? Almost nothing, That's what I'm
trying to ask, because it doesn't specifically say that this
still incurs MAP, and a lot of my skills say
it still incurs MAP.

Speaker 2 (41:17):
What skill are you looking at?

Speaker 1 (41:18):
Fury is finish So let me see.

Speaker 2 (41:19):
So fear is finishes a feat.

Speaker 1 (41:21):
Defeat, desport to finish the fight? You pour all your rage.

Speaker 5 (41:24):
Strike strike has a capital s Yes, that's a specific thing.
Strike has the attack trait which will occur the map. Yep,
so in path Thunder two, if it has a capital
it means something.

Speaker 1 (41:35):
Okay, well either way, that's what I'm doing. So fury
is finish.

Speaker 3 (41:39):
Okay us your rage already?

Speaker 1 (41:43):
Oh baby, if I can, if I can one tap
this thing, I'm gonna.

Speaker 3 (41:47):
Salute to the brother, Salute to the brother. Good luck
you get Oh my god, you rolled on.

Speaker 1 (41:51):
Nineteen that is a twenty five that hits Shy, So
that's twenty five damage?

Speaker 2 (41:56):
Do it? Do it? Do it?

Speaker 1 (41:59):
Seven plus ten so seventeen plus nine twenty samwich.

Speaker 3 (42:06):
Twenty six total total? Or is it twenty five seven
plus ten plus nine twenty six? You just said twenty five?
Or is that your hit?

Speaker 1 (42:16):
No, my hit was a twenty five?

Speaker 5 (42:18):
Okay, what's your damage to twenty five?

Speaker 1 (42:20):
Is gonna be seven plus tens seventeen plus nine twenty
six twenty six.

Speaker 2 (42:24):
Damage twenty six?

Speaker 5 (42:25):
Okay, your axe sinks into it as black spills out,
but it still stands.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
You gotta run, Bubba, you gotta run.

Speaker 1 (42:36):
I can't yet.

Speaker 3 (42:37):
Oh yeah you have again.

Speaker 1 (42:39):
Yeah, I'm fatigued one s yep.

Speaker 2 (42:42):
But what else you use up his all of his rage?

Speaker 1 (42:44):
Yeah? I use all my rage? Oh you cannot rage
again from the ten minutes oh.

Speaker 2 (42:50):
Way after the battle? Is that the end turn?

Speaker 4 (42:53):
He's got a negative one status penalty to a C
and saving it throws Y.

Speaker 5 (43:00):
The creature that you hit screeches and pain as your
act sinks deep into its torso. Its fist balls up
into something, and it seems to call forth not only
the black ink, but also the stone that is crumbling
from the ruins around you.

Speaker 2 (43:17):
As it goes to strike.

Speaker 1 (43:19):
Melee strike, Yes, okay, I'm going to activate my reaction
fire bells flip.

Speaker 2 (43:24):
What does that do again?

Speaker 1 (43:24):
So fire bells flip. It's a plus two to my
AC circum circumstances. Buts my AC when melee strike.

Speaker 5 (43:31):
Triggers, Okay, I just roll for fun. Okay, it goes
to hit. You're able to bring up your action. The
fist bounces off, it swings back and goes to strike again.
A twenty twenty two, asy, you have twenty two right now?

Speaker 1 (43:50):
With that, with that, with the fury slip, it's twenty two.

Speaker 2 (43:53):
No, you have only one reaction per round.

Speaker 1 (43:55):
That was Oh that was it?

Speaker 2 (43:56):
Yeah? Attack?

Speaker 1 (43:58):
Oh but did he roll and miss.

Speaker 3 (44:01):
It missed the first one? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (44:02):
Oh it rolled under twenty two?

Speaker 3 (44:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (44:04):
Oh okay, second one did twenty did twenty meets beats it?

Speaker 3 (44:08):
Yep? So the first one was like sixteen. So the
second strike it does huh nothing?

Speaker 5 (44:17):
Second strike thirteen bludgeoning damage.

Speaker 2 (44:20):
Is the fist.

Speaker 3 (44:23):
Four hits you and for its.

Speaker 5 (44:25):
Third action, its hand flings out as a black tendril
sprays out onto the ground off to the side and
you see something start to grow from the ground and
that's the end of its turn.

Speaker 3 (44:39):
Crown, you're up.

Speaker 4 (44:41):
All right, I've got a quick bomber, make another versatile vial.
The energy for this one will be fire.

Speaker 2 (44:50):
I rolled on that one, Hey, bud, doesn't it? I know,
Dan in the life of a curb.

Speaker 4 (44:58):
It also doesn't splash either. Oh oh that's the crypt.

Speaker 2 (45:01):
Yeah, the crypt fail.

Speaker 1 (45:03):
Yep, all right, you gonna do it again.

Speaker 4 (45:06):
Of course, the energy will still be fire, but instead
of a plus nine and a plus five do it,
that's gonna be a twenty three that hits.

Speaker 1 (45:16):
Hey world, you and the monster god eight.

Speaker 4 (45:22):
Fire plus three flaming splash for eleven fire toll.

Speaker 2 (45:26):
Don't you also get a bonus because you're a flaming goblin?

Speaker 3 (45:28):
Yeah, that was the bonus.

Speaker 5 (45:29):
Okay, Okay, it splashes and burns it, but nothing specifically
seems to happen to it.

Speaker 4 (45:36):
Last action, I'm going to attempt a demoralize.

Speaker 3 (45:41):
Okay, your bridges have holes, and you smell of cheese.
Your mother was a hamster.

Speaker 1 (45:46):
And smells, and your father smells about the berries.

Speaker 5 (45:49):
So you intimidate against the will DC.

Speaker 3 (45:53):
That's going to be a dirty twenty It.

Speaker 2 (45:55):
Doesn't seem to even pay attention to the words you're saying.

Speaker 3 (45:59):
Fuck it don't speak English. Hey, maybe you speaking at Goblin.

Speaker 1 (46:03):
How we both roll twenties? Both failed?

Speaker 3 (46:05):
It doesn't surprise me anymore. Wow, lucas Europe. Okay, so
I'm leave the arrow there. I'm not gonna activate just yet.
It's gonna chill. I. I don't know if that's gonna work,
but I will like to recall knowledge. Okay, and see
if for some reason, what skill are you're choosing for
your recall knowledge? Oh? Good point. Can you explain recall

(46:27):
knowledge for the beautiful.

Speaker 2 (46:28):
People out of there?

Speaker 5 (46:29):
Sure thing, we'll do better than I can recall knowledge.
On most topics, you can use a simple DC for
checks to recall knowledge, and then when you use it,
you pick the type that you want to Uh, like,
what what's what's called skill? Such as occultism, nature or

(46:50):
kind of crafting, society, et cetera.

Speaker 1 (46:53):
Probably, probably, it doesn't matter.

Speaker 3 (46:57):
I guess nature or you tell me buddy, Yeah, can
I still help knocking? I'll use Nature's twenty one twenty one?

Speaker 5 (47:08):
Okay, so you try and rack your brain about the
creature trying to understand what you're seeing. You you mentioned
you remember hearing an alien say something about a forest spirit,
et cetera, and you get kind of a memory for
something called a lampad. It's a mystically bonded creature that

(47:36):
or a mystical creature that is bound to a certain area,
like a cavern or other self contained area. They are
typically peaceful forest spirits. But something has obviously gone wrong
with this one. It has been infected with some type
of curse or something like that. I'll give you this

(47:57):
as one of the first real successful uses of recall knowledge.
You kind of remember that these things might be vulnerable
to cold.

Speaker 2 (48:09):
Then what I'll do is is speaking as a free action.

Speaker 1 (48:12):
Correct.

Speaker 3 (48:12):
Yeah, Okay, I'm gonna roll damage with Hunters, and I'm
gonna pretend I'm gonna I'm gonna play this out as
if I'm firing the arrow and trying to like think
like I'm not trying to kill time in the fight.

Speaker 5 (48:23):
Fifteen plus twelve, twenty seven, there you go, twenty seven, Yes, yeah,
twenty seven because that's a hit.

Speaker 2 (48:32):
Yeah, that's a hit.

Speaker 3 (48:33):
Okay, cool, I'd hope so. And then yeah, so fifteen
damage and then I'm gonna yell to crime like crom Cram.
These are four spirits, but it's tainted. But they don't
like the cold. They hate the cold. Do I have
a cold bomb? Versatile vials? Versatile you can make cold.
That's cold. But I want to know if I have

(48:53):
a bigger bomb.

Speaker 2 (48:55):
That's always bring a bigger bomb. Always bring a bigger bomb. Kyle,
what do you do?

Speaker 1 (49:02):
I don't want to, but I have to.

Speaker 3 (49:04):
It's not what you want to do, it's what you
must is what I must do. Mm hmmm.

Speaker 1 (49:10):
Not the hero Gotham deserves. What's the hero Gotham needs?
I believe in you, son, Let's swing at it with
my great axe.

Speaker 3 (49:15):
Daddy loves you.

Speaker 1 (49:17):
That is going to be a twenty nine big numbers,
give me damage?

Speaker 2 (49:22):
No, I think we have to roll a thirty to hit.

Speaker 1 (49:26):
I think so too. That is going to be a
total of nine damage.

Speaker 5 (49:32):
Okay, God Rachel, No, rage sucks that wou'd have been nineteen.
Your axe sinks into it as more ichor and black
ink flies out and screeches and paint.

Speaker 1 (49:44):
I am going to take evasive maneuvers and I'm going
to stride. Can I fit through this cracker here.

Speaker 3 (49:53):
Uh yeah, that's all right, So tell me what you
want to do. Last section, Gods, how do.

Speaker 1 (49:59):
You I'm going to demoralize.

Speaker 2 (50:04):
Okay, so that's my intimidation.

Speaker 1 (50:07):
Intimidation, yeah, my intimidation. Actually that is going to be
a twenty eight.

Speaker 5 (50:13):
It actually works, all right, very nice. It's on the
result of a demoralized that the.

Speaker 1 (50:19):
First time demoralized, then this entire campaign.

Speaker 3 (50:22):
Yes, I like how we're finally turning our brains on
for the deadliest boss fight so far.

Speaker 5 (50:27):
The target becomes fright one.

Speaker 3 (50:30):
Chrome's like, my bitch, this shit been off for a
while now, I don't mean to say my bitch. Oops. Right,
that's all three.

Speaker 2 (50:37):
That's it, okay.

Speaker 5 (50:39):
The creature that it spawned, when it's sent out that
tendril begins to move first Action SEC connection up to
you Chrome, and it's like some type of plant creature
covered in that black ink, and it's like wow as
it strikes at you with its hand with a twenty four. Yeah,

(51:02):
it hits all right, that's gonna do six bludgeoning damage
as its fist strikes you right in the face. As
it does as you see your friend get hit with
this strange creature. You hear a mournful wail from the cree.
The lampad is like as its souls emanates into the room.

(51:28):
Crumb and Kyle, I need you to make a DC save.
Please it will Sorry, it will save.

Speaker 2 (51:36):
You Gotta beat DC.

Speaker 3 (51:37):
Nineteen because that's a twelve.

Speaker 5 (51:40):
Okay, that is a twenty two Crumb. You cannot use
reactions for one round and you are slowed one on
your next turn.

Speaker 3 (51:49):
I lost in action. My plan is ruined. Oh no reactions.

Speaker 1 (51:54):
Oh no, I.

Speaker 4 (51:56):
Was gonna drink a quick I was gonna make a
quicksilver mutagen and drink it.

Speaker 3 (52:00):
Oh that would have been cool too.

Speaker 1 (52:02):
That would have been really cool.

Speaker 3 (52:04):
But you can quick bomber those. I have quick alchemy.

Speaker 1 (52:08):
Oh no way, dude is stacked.

Speaker 3 (52:11):
So quick bomber. Lets me use quick alchemy and throw
whatever I make.

Speaker 2 (52:16):
A black inky blob flies towards you, Kyle and Missus.
Thank god, I only interrupted you guys to keep the
action flowing.

Speaker 3 (52:22):
That's fine.

Speaker 5 (52:23):
Another one flies towards you, Chrumb and Missus. As it
flies past you and hits the stone and sinks into it,
you're Upchrumb, So.

Speaker 4 (52:35):
I still have the alchemist fire that I loaded into
my Alchemist Gauntlet from last episode.

Speaker 3 (52:42):
All right, I'm gonna punch the leshie. Yes, we've all
boxed someone.

Speaker 1 (52:50):
Now we have been waiting for this.

Speaker 5 (52:53):
What does the gauntlet look like?

Speaker 4 (52:57):
It looks like it looks like an oversized version of
like a regular like Night's Gauntlet, but it has just
like a huge like crater in the front. Specifically for Ai,
it's like a brass knuckle, but instead of like studded bits,
it's a bomb.

Speaker 2 (53:12):
That's awesome?

Speaker 1 (53:13):
Is it literally oversized? Four?

Speaker 4 (53:14):
Cromb Yes, sweet, punch him with said gauntlet. I wish
this was a Dex gauntlet, but it is not. So
I only half a plus six, So here's open.

Speaker 3 (53:24):
That's gonna be a seventeen barely misses.

Speaker 2 (53:27):
Oh does it use the bomb?

Speaker 4 (53:29):
No? I now that I've used it, I have two
more chances to try to hit and get it to
go off.

Speaker 2 (53:35):
Oh interesting, I just magic.

Speaker 4 (53:37):
Crom Now I only have a plus two.

Speaker 3 (53:42):
It's agile, so I mean that's a.

Speaker 1 (53:44):
Plus What did I roll last time?

Speaker 4 (53:46):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (53:47):
This is a nineteen?

Speaker 3 (53:47):
Now it's hey, yeah, give me damage. I was I
really wasn't, so you know this would happen? Yeah, the
three flat damage, it's gonna be a fourteen damage woo.

Speaker 2 (54:02):
Very nice.

Speaker 3 (54:04):
Sorry fifteen because because of flaming goblin stuff.

Speaker 5 (54:06):
Okay, uh, firing goals is firing, I'm sorry. Firing gulfs
the thing and burns.

Speaker 2 (54:12):
It quite badly.

Speaker 3 (54:14):
Fear it's like for him, no for me.

Speaker 1 (54:16):
Third attack at our negative two?

Speaker 3 (54:19):
No way, I try to demoralize it. Twenty one.

Speaker 1 (54:24):
Damn what you should have rolled the attack?

Speaker 5 (54:28):
Yeah that it's so, it's frightened, right, frightened one.

Speaker 4 (54:32):
Yes, unless it's got that like that language thing to
where it can't understand me.

Speaker 3 (54:37):
Then I get a minus four penalty.

Speaker 5 (54:38):
No, it is okay, okay, and it's like lucas herup.

Speaker 2 (54:46):
Okay, what use my action to prock the antler?

Speaker 3 (54:49):
So that bit bag chick goth chick, she's uh, she's
uh pinned kind I.

Speaker 5 (54:57):
Like to imagine that antler's grown go out and sin
just like and stick into the ground and pin her
in place, brutal.

Speaker 3 (55:06):
I'd say that works, And then I'm going to hunters
am with my last action on the leshie that's attacking.

Speaker 2 (55:13):
My boy over here.

Speaker 3 (55:15):
Fifteen plus twelve, so twenty seven that hits nice.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
Yeah, cool, and.

Speaker 3 (55:21):
Since that's my first attack. Whatever, Wow, I'm just throwing
stuff around. I guess five plus seven, so twelve twelve
damage to the leshie.

Speaker 5 (55:31):
Twelve damage was that with a normal arrow? Uh? Yeah, okay,
So the arrow pierces the creature you were talking about.

Speaker 3 (55:40):
Yeah, the lamb.

Speaker 2 (55:42):
Is attacking him.

Speaker 5 (55:43):
Oh you shot the leshie? Yeah, okay, sorry, I was
reading some conditioned stuffs and did not realize you were
shouting the leshie.

Speaker 3 (55:50):
All right, So what was the age the hit it?
A hit?

Speaker 2 (55:55):
Was like twenty seven?

Speaker 5 (55:56):
Yes, it's crazy, okay, twenty seven not krit but it
does hit.

Speaker 2 (55:59):
And image was twelve.

Speaker 5 (56:01):
Okay, So the arrow hits it, damaging it severely. It
stumbles and almost falls.

Speaker 3 (56:08):
Over, and it's like a fuck you, gobbling hot.

Speaker 2 (56:13):
It doesn't respond and it just looks at you angry.

Speaker 3 (56:16):
Like Also, I lied my range with a long abo
isn't one hundred and twenty, it's two hundred and since
I have far shot, that's four hundred and since I
ignore my first Tigerman, I can shoot eight hundred.

Speaker 2 (56:27):
Feet without penalty. That's insane. And then with his postion
against made pay with a plus twelve.

Speaker 3 (56:32):
Oh jeez, Okay I'll have to look at it. I mean,
I believe, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (56:37):
Nicholas's favorite son.

Speaker 3 (56:39):
What you say, Lucas last, Lucas Las don't get.

Speaker 2 (56:43):
This reverence lord of the rings? Never seen a Lord
of the rings. No, we had this conversation.

Speaker 3 (56:48):
You yelled at me for it, trying to wash our brains.

Speaker 2 (56:51):
That's fair, all right?

Speaker 1 (56:53):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (56:54):
And you turn? Okay, Kyle, you're.

Speaker 1 (56:55):
Up stride once. Smack it with my great act, all right?
As a nat twenty of course? Of course, why not?
Why why wouldn't it be on the back I should
have I should have the furious charged to the big
boss whatever. Who cares? Right, it's okay, that's eight plus four,

(57:17):
that's twelve damage dead.

Speaker 2 (57:20):
How's it die?

Speaker 1 (57:21):
It goes flat and goes I smack with the act
and just deflates.

Speaker 3 (57:27):
All right? And do you turn?

Speaker 1 (57:29):
No? I still got one more?

Speaker 2 (57:31):
All right?

Speaker 3 (57:31):
Well, what do you do?

Speaker 1 (57:32):
One more to moralize the Uh? Give a shot to
the big bad thing. That is a fifteen plus my
intimidation which is eight, so twenty three.

Speaker 2 (57:42):
Okay, so that's frightened two got it?

Speaker 3 (57:46):
And I yell, you can't have me unless she was frightened.

Speaker 1 (57:52):
So was the other one.

Speaker 3 (57:54):
Oh were they?

Speaker 2 (57:55):
Yeah, and it screeches.

Speaker 1 (58:01):
I don't have a forest I manscape.

Speaker 2 (58:05):
Hey, good time, I was a sponsor.

Speaker 1 (58:08):
That'd be a great sponsor manscaped Turkay.

Speaker 5 (58:13):
I'm gonna fuck you up for ruining that moment with
the fucking manscape thing.

Speaker 3 (58:19):
It's gonna shoot off.

Speaker 5 (58:20):
A light wisps the show's show.

Speaker 2 (58:24):
You guys haven't thought us already.

Speaker 3 (58:26):
Okay, it's gonna hit you for twenty two No crip,
Holy fuck, he's wheezing.

Speaker 5 (58:33):
Breathe, breath eight damage total.

Speaker 3 (58:36):
Do you have any weaknesses? Okay, it's gonna shoot off
another one.

Speaker 2 (58:41):
It's gonna miss.

Speaker 1 (58:42):
This is your cold damage.

Speaker 5 (58:44):
Uh no, okay, I'm resistant told okay, I was gonna
say you cannot be weak to cold?

Speaker 1 (58:53):
What was it?

Speaker 5 (58:53):
First one was eight? Second one missed, third action. It's
gonna weep again. I need you and crump to me.

Speaker 2 (59:00):
A will save a DC eighteen will save not twenty?

Speaker 1 (59:03):
Damn it what I got on that twenty.

Speaker 3 (59:05):
Middle finger in your face.

Speaker 1 (59:07):
Don't be mad?

Speaker 2 (59:08):
I am mad?

Speaker 5 (59:09):
Why because I'm trying to create an atmosphere here like
man no.

Speaker 1 (59:15):
No, because I started with a you can't have me,
and then it fit right in with it. I want
my forest. So I was like, sorry, I don't understand
what it's saying. I don't know what it wants.

Speaker 3 (59:25):
It's gonna be a twenty five for the will Save
mister d M. Okay, you're good too.

Speaker 2 (59:28):
Yay, that's my boys.

Speaker 3 (59:32):
So first action.

Speaker 4 (59:33):
I'm going to quick alchemy. I'm going to make myself
a quicksilver mutagen. Second action is going to be me
drinking it and then taking eight damage.

Speaker 2 (59:44):
All right, counts out the other.

Speaker 1 (59:47):
Remember it's immune the cold.

Speaker 5 (59:50):
No resistance or weak cold. So weakness in Pathfinder is
really interesting. I don't know if it's the same in
five E as a long time five E DM, I
should know this, but the Pathfinder, when something's weak and
it takes that type of damage, it just straight up
takes extra damage.

Speaker 3 (01:00:06):
No rolls on the weakness.

Speaker 5 (01:00:08):
If it's like a week ten, it just straight up
gets ten more damage, which is cool because if you
aren't strong, like if you have ice arrows and they
don't do a lot of damage, but it's weak to cold,
it doesn't matter because you just straight up get that
full ass cold damage.

Speaker 3 (01:00:22):
It's really cool.

Speaker 4 (01:00:23):
That's why theomitories are just really cool. Yeah, alright, last
actual is gonna be a quick bomb. I'm gonna make
myself a versatile, vile energy is gonna be cold, and
I'm going to chuck its all right nineteen.

Speaker 5 (01:00:35):
Yss any splash Oh yeah, splash Okay, how much splash?

Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
Oh just two?

Speaker 2 (01:00:40):
Just too okay, so that it.

Speaker 1 (01:00:42):
Takes four or whatever the resistant the weakness is yeah,
plus or two.

Speaker 5 (01:00:46):
So as you throw, you miss which it's with its twitching,
It flies past, it lands on the ground. The glass
shatters as ice sprays out. As the ice hits it,
it begins to freeze the black ink that flows around
its body, and it cracks as it moves and falls
off its body, doing some good damage.

Speaker 1 (01:01:06):
Just to clarify, because I'm because I'm viewed on it.
So I want to make sure the listeners understand too,
even though it's pinned down, does also take a negative
to to ac yes, okay, I just want to make sure.
I just want to make sure that that's I don't
I know that.

Speaker 5 (01:01:18):
I don't think it takes a negative on a C
for immobilized. It cannot move, Yeah it can, it can
try and make this say so even when you're grabbed,
I don't think you take a negative to I.

Speaker 3 (01:01:30):
Believe you have to be. That was something I didn't
know because when I got grabbed by the wolf, it
drop my c I remember that.

Speaker 5 (01:01:35):
So, dude, grabbed, there's a secondary thing when you're just grabbed.
Oh yeah, grab does what was its?

Speaker 2 (01:01:45):
Oh no?

Speaker 5 (01:01:45):
No, okay, So I'm getting it mixed up with not
being able to move. Grabbed leads to immobilized. Grab reduces
a c.

Speaker 2 (01:01:52):
Immobilized does not.

Speaker 1 (01:01:53):
Okay, but if.

Speaker 5 (01:01:54):
You're grabbed, you can still move at a slower rate.
But then the person who grabs you can take an
additional actions trying to belies you. That's what I was
getting mixed up with. All right, we are good. Uh
so that's all you're done, crumb Okay, Lucas, you're up,
all right, same shit, different day.

Speaker 3 (01:02:11):
So it's pinned, it can't move. It's a mobilized correct, Okay.
I would it take me in action to look behind me?

Speaker 1 (01:02:20):
No, I want to.

Speaker 3 (01:02:20):
I want to see if Aliah is still there.

Speaker 2 (01:02:23):
Aleen Ailen. I my handwriting was so shiit. That was
such a rush.

Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
It looks like an Aleen is she still there? She is?

Speaker 5 (01:02:32):
She's actually in the doorway. With her bow like with
an arrow knocked, and.

Speaker 2 (01:02:37):
She hasn't done a fucking thing.

Speaker 3 (01:02:38):
Jesus.

Speaker 1 (01:02:38):
Okay, she said of things with the south, things have
not gone south yet, but she doesn't.

Speaker 5 (01:02:43):
To be clear, she's not leaning like a warrior. She's
like whole, like leaning on the stone. There's still blood dripped,
you know, slowly draining down because Cromb patched her up,
but she's not healed.

Speaker 2 (01:02:55):
Healed.

Speaker 3 (01:02:55):
I'm gonna run to her and say, hey, can I
trade you bows? Can I borrow your? But she looks
at you and says it eight, It won't help you here.
That's fine. I just like where I'm at. She tells
me that I'm just like I turned around. I just
let a narrow fly.

Speaker 1 (01:03:10):
That was the most NPC thing I've ever heard of.
That that won't help you here, Champion.

Speaker 3 (01:03:16):
Twenty four heads give me damage?

Speaker 1 (01:03:19):
So that so good?

Speaker 3 (01:03:21):
You can't ride your bike here?

Speaker 2 (01:03:23):
Nine damage?

Speaker 3 (01:03:24):
Okay, I don't need your stinking boat. You guys don't
know the properties of the bow.

Speaker 5 (01:03:30):
It might be special, and just being grabbing it and
shooting it will probably not be any better than your boat.

Speaker 1 (01:03:35):
It be just a regular ass bo that she made
look pretty.

Speaker 3 (01:03:38):
Yeah, could be are that on holpfully exposed?

Speaker 1 (01:03:43):
Shit?

Speaker 2 (01:03:43):
That was only your second right?

Speaker 3 (01:03:46):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (01:03:46):
No, so stride one turn Hunters takes two? Okay, got it?

Speaker 3 (01:03:50):
Kyle?

Speaker 2 (01:03:51):
You are up?

Speaker 1 (01:03:52):
Yep?

Speaker 3 (01:03:53):
I am? I believe in you?

Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
Do you?

Speaker 3 (01:03:56):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:03:56):
I don't go ahead you sudden charge stride ice an attack.
It's more than enough time to space hit that seventeen
miss yep, second attack.

Speaker 2 (01:04:09):
Unfortunately, what you got for me?

Speaker 1 (01:04:12):
That is going to be a twenty.

Speaker 2 (01:04:14):
That's a hit.

Speaker 3 (01:04:14):
Give me damage?

Speaker 1 (01:04:15):
Thank god?

Speaker 2 (01:04:16):
What's what's the total?

Speaker 1 (01:04:18):
You really want to know?

Speaker 2 (01:04:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:04:19):
Five, that's it for you?

Speaker 1 (01:04:22):
One?

Speaker 3 (01:04:23):
You?

Speaker 1 (01:04:23):
Oh it's also not I'm also not raging.

Speaker 3 (01:04:27):
Ah, yeah we are. We are on a struggle bus
right now.

Speaker 1 (01:04:30):
Yeah. I really thought that Furious Finish is going to
do more.

Speaker 2 (01:04:34):
You drive your axe?

Speaker 3 (01:04:35):
How how like?

Speaker 2 (01:04:36):
How do you attack what ankle?

Speaker 1 (01:04:38):
I smacked down on its head?

Speaker 5 (01:04:39):
Okay, you smacked down and its head, It splits its
head and you pull your axe back with you know,
the ink splashing everywhere and it's still alive.

Speaker 2 (01:04:50):
That is unfortunate.

Speaker 1 (01:04:51):
When he said splits head, I was like, damn, I
did it? Turn?

Speaker 3 (01:04:56):
Ah?

Speaker 5 (01:04:56):
You thought as it twitches back from its screams you.
The stones from the rubble began to wrap around its fists,
and it strikes at you.

Speaker 1 (01:05:04):
With one of them. The flip so twenty two febulous flip.

Speaker 5 (01:05:11):
Clocking you right in the face, and you, guys hear
bones crack as you take twenty eight points of bludgeoning damage.

Speaker 3 (01:05:19):
Holy shit, all right, are you still up?

Speaker 1 (01:05:23):
Nope?

Speaker 3 (01:05:24):
Oh fuck? While it almost instantaneously looses a wisp towards you.

Speaker 2 (01:05:31):
Chrome.

Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
Now remind me again how the double damage works. If
it's double my remaining or double my max.

Speaker 5 (01:05:39):
It has to be double your max. God yeah, um tens,
that's gonna miss. The wisp is gonna fly right past.

Speaker 2 (01:05:46):
You, Chrome.

Speaker 5 (01:05:48):
Splatter on the ground behind you, and it lets out
a whale of grief and pain. DC eighteen will say, please.

Speaker 3 (01:05:57):
That's an eighteen minimum erre need to be. You're good.
You're able to hold off on the terrible whales that
fill this chamber.

Speaker 2 (01:06:05):
That's the end of its turn. And now, Crome, you
are up.

Speaker 5 (01:06:08):
You just see your large friend get smashed in the
face with a stone clad fists as you hear like
a bone crack and he goes down. What all it
responds with is.

Speaker 4 (01:06:28):
Alright and it's gonna be a quick bumber, gonna make
a cold, versatile vile.

Speaker 2 (01:06:32):
That's a fifteen Yeah, okay.

Speaker 3 (01:06:34):
Second, wait, no, I have a plus two. That's that's
twenty one. All right, give me damage?

Speaker 1 (01:06:42):
Shit?

Speaker 3 (01:06:44):
Wait? Is it cold? Yes? Do you want to describe me?
Describe to me how it dies? Oh, tell me how
it dies?

Speaker 1 (01:06:50):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (01:06:51):
Crumb, in a fit of frustration and rage, tosses his
versusile vile. But because he's wearing his his gauntlet's no,
not quite used to throwing it. So it lands on
Kyle and bounces off of his chest and hits her
in the toe and she freezes from the ground up
and shatters.

Speaker 1 (01:07:11):
Like to imagine when Kyle got hit, he fell backwards.
So that's what gave me the opening to bounce off
my alumptuous chest. Why the fuck?

Speaker 3 (01:07:21):
I'll just say cow.

Speaker 4 (01:07:27):
And then like Crm's gonna run up and he's gonna
like quick out. Can he make a make elixir of
life and bird feed it? Baby birds it?

Speaker 1 (01:07:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:07:37):
God and alien kind of limps out?

Speaker 3 (01:07:42):
Are you walking over there?

Speaker 2 (01:07:43):
As?

Speaker 3 (01:07:43):
Where? Well, Lucas, I'm every action sprinting. And then I'm
gonna try and do a medicine check on Kyle.

Speaker 1 (01:07:49):
Okay, I have every condition in the book, guys, but
you got the life right. He's dying unconscious.

Speaker 3 (01:07:57):
Blunt, so your see.

Speaker 7 (01:08:03):
Ship.

Speaker 3 (01:08:05):
Oh my god, you have achieve if you're having every
effect at once.

Speaker 5 (01:08:10):
So but you are what's a wounded?

Speaker 2 (01:08:12):
Right?

Speaker 3 (01:08:12):
Yeah? Yeah, I run up and I'll be like, well,
I'll be damn, it's not the first time, won't be
the last? Huh?

Speaker 5 (01:08:18):
Never is this close to the obelisk? You, guys see
the light blue mists pouring into the object? An object
that has been attached to the stone.

Speaker 2 (01:08:29):
Who wants to take a look at it?

Speaker 1 (01:08:30):
I'll do a ar cannon check it.

Speaker 5 (01:08:32):
Sure, as he's doing an arcana check, you're taking a
look at it, well do nature. You don't have to
do a check yet. You look at it. It's a
small watering.

Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
Can rule of.

Speaker 3 (01:08:46):
One first arcana. I'm sorry, it's not making me laugh.

Speaker 2 (01:08:50):
Please continue.

Speaker 5 (01:08:51):
I'll say this while you're trying to do an arcana check. Kyle,
you notice the same thing that Lucas did.

Speaker 2 (01:08:58):
It's a watering.

Speaker 5 (01:08:59):
Can you see some scribblings on the side and a
badly hand drawn like you know you can. It's barely
letters l u c As lucas.

Speaker 2 (01:09:13):
The memories flood back to you.

Speaker 3 (01:09:16):
Yeah, You're like, no, no.

Speaker 5 (01:09:18):
That's no. Your brain is trying to tell you you
recognize it, but you're like, no, now I don't, and
tell the exact memory pops into your mind. It's a
warm summer day. You're a small child. You're going out
with your mother to go to the lake that your
family runs their fishery off of. She's bringing out a

(01:09:40):
watering can and you remember in the back of your mind,
this is a special watering can. Your parents said that
you shouldn't play with it, but they never treated it
as something dangerous. Your mother would take you to the
edge of the water and she would scoop up some

(01:10:01):
lake water and explained to you as she slowly poured
the water back out of the watering can into the lake.
She claimed it had magic, that it brought life to
all that drank its waters, the plant life, the fish, everything.

(01:10:21):
She claimed that using that watering can made sure that
the village stayed fed and that it prospered. Another memory
flashes into your brain. When you were a little kid,
sitting down with some charcoal pens that you used to
draw your drawings with you drew your name onto the
watering can, which brought smiles to your parents' faces, and they,

(01:10:46):
in fact, she lacked it later to keep your little
signature on the watering can that they would use every
few months to keep the lake verdant and full of life.
But now it's used, it has been twisted. It now
ploors black ink out of its spout instead.

Speaker 2 (01:11:07):
Allen walks up. She puts her hand on your shoulder,
and she asks you.

Speaker 3 (01:11:11):
What I've been trying to rack my brain. What was
your last name again?

Speaker 2 (01:11:17):
Penn p e n pen Shore for Pennington. We just
go by pen.

Speaker 3 (01:11:24):
Lucas Pennington.

Speaker 2 (01:11:27):
I thought, so you know me, because I don't know you.

Speaker 5 (01:11:35):
As soon as you say that, you get that small
itch in the back of your brain, the kind of
itch that comes when you remember something when you were
three or four. Now you understand why that when you
first saw her, you lit up.

Speaker 2 (01:11:48):
You've seen this woman before when you were a child.
She looks strange.

Speaker 5 (01:11:52):
She says, I knew your parents, and I think I
saw your mother here in the forest, and that's why
I came here.

Speaker 3 (01:12:00):
Wait, hold on, so how does that have any correlation
with me? Why Why are you after my parents? Not
after your parents. I haven't seen them in years. I
saw your mother in the forest. I thought I did.
I thought I was seeing things. You know, there's another
tran mother's name. If you know her so well.

Speaker 5 (01:12:16):
Your mother's name was Bella Nish.

Speaker 3 (01:12:18):
And what's my father's name. Father's name, his real name,
his real name, not his nickname. If you know me
so well, what's my father's real name.

Speaker 5 (01:12:28):
Oh, your father's real name, what he preferred to be
called was Barah. As far as his real name, I
was never.

Speaker 3 (01:12:36):
Good at pronouncing it. You're Malayevich.

Speaker 2 (01:12:40):
Yeah, that's that's my dad.

Speaker 5 (01:12:42):
It's good to see you again, Lucas. I wish I
was under better circumstances. Why would your mother be out here?
Why would she bring that watering can here?

Speaker 2 (01:12:51):
They left.

Speaker 3 (01:12:53):
Were on the fishery back in the meadow fan and
I was I young adult, probably fifteen sixteen seventeen, and
the lake stopped producing fish. We had to go to
external sources and we got pressed away by other businesses.

Speaker 2 (01:13:11):
So they fled, and they left.

Speaker 3 (01:13:13):
Me with the debt of the fishery. Did they ever
explain why they left?

Speaker 2 (01:13:19):
They didn't even told me they were leaving, but it
seems your mother has to come here to poisonous.

Speaker 3 (01:13:24):
Land, and that is where we will end this episode.
Oh fuck you, dude, that's crazy.

Speaker 5 (01:13:33):
Thank you for listening to mythical misfits. Join us for
our next session. Goodbye, everybody.

Speaker 2 (01:13:55):
This is better than call of duty.

Speaker 3 (01:13:57):
I wish not hard to be called It's especially in
the most recent one.

Speaker 2 (01:14:00):
Good god, dude, I can't believe I spent money on that.
I can't.

Speaker 3 (01:14:32):
We fade in.

Speaker 5 (01:14:33):
An old man slouches on a cart's splintered bench seat,
weathered hands loose on the reins an equally ancient horse. Ahead,
a city's limestone walls loom over a line of merchant carts.
Crown guards indented armor work their way down the queue,
prodding a cargo. They reached the man's cart, throwing back

(01:14:54):
a sun bleach canvas. One prize open the top of
a crate. Green glass bottles clank together like chimes. The
guards look at him suspicious. Whisper Leef ex ject. He
says the link stairs helps with dysentery. They leave him alone. Later,
his carts rattle through the city's cramp streets, wheels finding

(01:15:16):
every loose cobblestone. He weaves past market crowds and a
three legged dog hunting through fish guts. A sout face
street urchin shouts curses as he turns down an alleyway
where the walls seem to lean inward, scraping the cart's sides.
The warehouse door creaks open just enough for the cart
to fit. A separate man methodically unloads the bottles from

(01:15:37):
one of the crates onto a scarred toward the table.
He flips the empty crate over and works a crowbar
into an almost invisible scene. The false bottom comes free
with a pop. Inside, small bundles lie wrapped in shadow
dark cloth. He slides on creatures scaled the gloves that
catch what little light reaches them, then unwraps one bundle

(01:16:00):
with practiced care. There sits a single wooden, six sided nye.

Speaker 2 (01:16:06):
Then we fade out.

Speaker 5 (01:16:10):
The heat of dancing flames warm your face, guys, as
embers rising to the sky from the makeshift campfire that
you've been set, that you guys have set up here
the entrance of the ruins, the sun having set an
hour prior. You're all resting, deciding what to do next.
Alien shadow stride is there with you, still holding her

(01:16:31):
side and resting up against a tree. As the fire
crackles in front of her. She breathes heavy with a
wet inhale and exhale.

Speaker 2 (01:16:40):
You sound like shit, she.

Speaker 5 (01:16:42):
I know, IM still not feeling very well, to be
honest with you.

Speaker 1 (01:16:46):
Now, I'm gonna let y'all finish, but I say we
need like seven long rests. I got two HP.

Speaker 3 (01:16:53):
I think, Kron, would you like to attend to one
of our teammates and all tend to the other and
Micken just of you up the work.

Speaker 2 (01:17:00):
So if we can't patch them.

Speaker 3 (01:17:01):
Up, I've been able to do it for a long time.

Speaker 1 (01:17:07):
I can also do it, but I can't do it
on myself.

Speaker 3 (01:17:10):
I've been trained. I've been proficient medicine for a long time.
In fact, I think you taught me when you were younger.
You taught me a long time we were kids. Yeah,
and then I learned how to use natural medicine from
uh oh no, that was her name, I can't remember.
Are the herbist lady back home? Did you pick up
the food for natural medicine?

Speaker 2 (01:17:31):
No? Fourth wall break chrummeb I did not take that feet.

Speaker 1 (01:17:35):
Oh calm down. Eighth walk, uh, Lucas.

Speaker 3 (01:17:39):
Eighth wall? What's an eighth wall? Twelfth wall?

Speaker 1 (01:17:42):
That was me, Oh my god, sixteenth wo crumb, you're here.

Speaker 3 (01:17:49):
This is just hun.

Speaker 1 (01:17:50):
I'm gonna shut all those doors, fix the walls, patch
it up.

Speaker 3 (01:17:56):
I'll start doing some some treat wounds on people.

Speaker 2 (01:18:00):
I too, would you? We're gonna do kyler?

Speaker 1 (01:18:03):
I was. I also just realized I'm an expert in medicine.

Speaker 3 (01:18:07):
Damn are you actually? Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:18:11):
I was trained. I forgot I picked it up a
level for it and kit expert medicine. Jeez, I have
a plus eight but I can't heal myself. You can't
can Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:18:24):
I don't think there's any rules.

Speaker 1 (01:18:25):
Against So you can't do battle medicine in yourself. I
can do treat wounds on myself anyways. Hey, crom for
story reasons crime, can you patch me up? No? Fourth wall?

Speaker 2 (01:18:35):
Wait? Wait? How much? How much do you have on
your medicine?

Speaker 1 (01:18:38):
Plus eight? Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:18:39):
So do I? We are living in a society.

Speaker 5 (01:18:41):
Well, it's what's required because none of you are officially healers,
like there's no clerics, you know, there's I mean, Crome
is the closes thing you guys got and you know
you do pretty good. But none of you guys have
a cleric, so it's good. That's you're all traine. So
no matter who goes down, you guys can pick each
other back up.

Speaker 1 (01:18:59):
Can I take off all of my affinities please? Like fatigued?
No after a rest?

Speaker 5 (01:19:05):
Right, well, you have to some go off after rest?
What do you have?

Speaker 1 (01:19:09):
Fatigue? Which is full night's rest? Pro and I'm no
longer prone? Then yes, wounded a treat wound. So once
he does treat wounds on me, I'll go away, and
then clumsy stays. Fatigue goes away after full night's rest.

Speaker 2 (01:19:21):
Okay, we just had to make sure.

Speaker 1 (01:19:23):
Yeah, yeah, treat ones will go away once he heals me.

Speaker 2 (01:19:25):
I rolled a twenty one for medicine on Alen that
is going to.

Speaker 5 (01:19:29):
Be a success.

Speaker 3 (01:19:30):
Yeah, oh nice, forty eight? Oh is it help, mister DM?
Oh wait I rolled them? Yeah? Yeah, this ain't a
secret chicks or a double fuck it.

Speaker 4 (01:19:44):
I'm increasing the DC to what he so, because I'm
an expert, I can only increase the DC to twenty.

Speaker 1 (01:19:51):
Wait, you have to roll a twenty roll at least
a twenty.

Speaker 3 (01:19:55):
Yeah, are you wanting to me to add that, well,
your your characters only set the forty eight out of
fifty six, Lucas. No, no, Alen, I'm I'm fixing alien.
Oh yeah, I rolled a DC twenty one for medicine,
got it? And then I really said that, but my
brain was on three. Oh you're fine, and then and
then I just I just rolled twenty one HP.

Speaker 2 (01:20:11):
Okay, Alen, you.

Speaker 3 (01:20:12):
Help her out.

Speaker 5 (01:20:13):
She lets you, and she's experienced and taking care of
herself in the woods as well, you know, because she's
a very experienced hunter. But it never hurts to have
someone else be able to patch it and stitch up
things that you can't reach.

Speaker 2 (01:20:25):
So she's grateful, is.

Speaker 1 (01:20:26):
What you roll?

Speaker 2 (01:20:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:20:28):
Okay, what'd you roll?

Speaker 3 (01:20:30):
Twenty three? Yeah, babe, it's gonna be fourty eight plus ten.

Speaker 1 (01:20:34):
Oh my god, please roll high.

Speaker 3 (01:20:39):
Don't say that. Roll Oh I see a one in there.
Oh it's a two two ones? Or or that's two
two ones, zoling scoob.

Speaker 1 (01:20:49):
So yes, that is a two.

Speaker 3 (01:20:50):
So twenty three still bad?

Speaker 1 (01:20:52):
Eh Me, I don't take that's puts me into twenty five.
It works. Let's still do this, Yeah, do it again.
Let's see. Let's see how this goes.

Speaker 6 (01:21:03):
And I also just got a cop I was just
to do a cop out and just do at a
couple of I.

Speaker 2 (01:21:08):
Could use one of those. Actually, how the feeling.

Speaker 3 (01:21:12):
I'm not hurt. A couple of scrapes. Got a good cut,
but nothing major. Okay, I'm not throw the same day
as the last session.

Speaker 2 (01:21:22):
Do you have the ability to do that? Okay?

Speaker 6 (01:21:24):
Alrighty, that's why if it was under there.

Speaker 2 (01:21:29):
You go makes sense?

Speaker 3 (01:21:30):
Oh wait, actually give them all to him because I
might still have the one you gave me yesterday.

Speaker 2 (01:21:35):
Let me check earlier today. I might still have it.

Speaker 1 (01:21:38):
So two so it lookstra a wife minor is one
D six plus one but actually one six?

Speaker 2 (01:21:46):
Oh yeah, I still have it.

Speaker 3 (01:21:47):
You said one, hey, six, so that's seven. You're using
the one that I gave you.

Speaker 2 (01:21:53):
Yes, you gave me too, you have one more?

Speaker 1 (01:21:56):
No, I used the one that you gave me earlier.

Speaker 2 (01:21:59):
You also gave two to aen.

Speaker 1 (01:22:01):
That's why I ran out.

Speaker 5 (01:22:02):
Yeah, I'm gonna remove this.

Speaker 1 (01:22:04):
You're gonna have re use those please? Yeah that'd be
nicey now, Okay, so he did treat wounds on me,
so he has to wait an hour right before he
can do it again.

Speaker 3 (01:22:16):
On you.

Speaker 1 (01:22:16):
Yeah, yeah, I can do it on myself though, right.

Speaker 3 (01:22:19):
No, the target is immune to treat wounds for an hour,
dang it.

Speaker 1 (01:22:22):
Yeah, guys, wait an hour before we go to bed.

Speaker 5 (01:22:26):
I would probably give you one to two more tries before, Like,
if you keep going, you won't sleep and you'll have
I think it's fatigue.

Speaker 1 (01:22:36):
Fatigued one, yeah, fatigue correct anymore.

Speaker 5 (01:22:39):
Recovery is just so good.

Speaker 1 (01:22:42):
Uh, let's go one more attempt.

Speaker 2 (01:22:45):
So you guys wait an hour and then give it
another shot.

Speaker 1 (01:22:48):
Certainly, I'm starting to feel like I can use more.

Speaker 2 (01:22:50):
Healing in this time.

Speaker 3 (01:22:53):
Uh, Kyle or Kyle, I apologize. So Lucas is like
layering that moss he picked up on his backpack and
he's trying to base teach himself camouflage.

Speaker 2 (01:23:01):
That makes sense.

Speaker 3 (01:23:01):
It was like layering it and then like throwing it
in the grass somewhere and seeing you can still see
you can still see he Alen's giving tips and tricks.
She's talking about how certain species of moss as they dry,
they change color. Certain species don't how to weave in
grass strands, so they stay in without requiring the use
of rope or string or anything like that. For giving

(01:23:22):
any tips that she can as they come up.

Speaker 2 (01:23:25):
Hey, Aileen, do you do you have a crafting book?

Speaker 1 (01:23:27):
By chance?

Speaker 5 (01:23:29):
And she looks and she's like yes, And she in
fact was actually holding a notebook that she had been
taking notes in throughout the evening and writing things down,
and she flips to like the back end of it,
and she's, yes, I do keep some of my crafting
res spees in here.

Speaker 3 (01:23:44):
Do you have any you could spare or would be
willing to teach me? What are you looking for specifically?

Speaker 2 (01:23:52):
I kind of sit down next Tornal lean over. I
just I'm trying to keep myself and my friends alive.
I don't care what you get me. Anything is more
than nothing. And she thinks and she goes, you.

Speaker 5 (01:24:04):
Know what, Yes, hold on, let me let me look
through here, and she starts flipping through her book.

Speaker 2 (01:24:14):
I lean over curiously and let me see.

Speaker 5 (01:24:20):
She goes, she's looked through her trap lists, and she
instead of going through all the traps right now because
I don't have them all memorized, I'll say that you're
able to work with her throughout the night, and you
could probably pick one uncommon trap that she can teach
you how to craft. So because you already know how
to make anything common, everybody does in the new updated

(01:24:42):
path funder, so I'll say that you're able to find
you know, scroll through her book and be like, oh,
I'd love to learn this. So you just find an
uncommon trap you'd like to know, let me know and
we can go from there.

Speaker 3 (01:24:53):
Sounds good, I'll message you on discord. Sounds good?

Speaker 2 (01:24:55):
All right?

Speaker 5 (01:24:55):
You two, Kirby dom how'd that round of healing go fantastic?

Speaker 3 (01:24:59):
Another twenty f question. You're saying trap or do you
mean snare? Because there's only one trap. There's a lot
of snares.

Speaker 2 (01:25:07):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (01:25:08):
You're the ranger player, so I'm glad.

Speaker 2 (01:25:10):
Okay, you tell me.

Speaker 1 (01:25:13):
Do your research Nerd.

Speaker 5 (01:25:15):
All right, So you guys spend the evening sleeping and
resting and taking shifts and wake up peacefully in the morning.
And now that a whole night has passed in game Zane,
what have you picked out of her notebook?

Speaker 3 (01:25:34):
I picked a very basic one flare snare. So someone
trips it and it sends a flare up into the
sky that can be seen from two miles away in
weather and five miles away on a clear day. That's
crazy and I have a feeling that's going to come
in hand in the future. I would hope, so gonna
suck if it doesn't. Grum Daily Prep, how'd that go?
Daily Prep went fantastic. I've got two Elixas of Life

(01:25:57):
for Kyle, two Elixs of Life for Lucas, and then Kyle,
you also get to have another Juggernaut muted gen and Lucas.
I've got another Quicksilver for you with my last one.
I made an additional Quicksilver for myself because I can
also do some deck stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:26:13):
Hell yeah, moderate, right, No, I'm not five lesser lesser.
There's lesser moderate and greater minor. I don't see him.

Speaker 3 (01:26:26):
Yeah, we're all adults.

Speaker 1 (01:26:27):
No Juggernaut Moderate.

Speaker 3 (01:26:32):
You know, it's funny being the youngest guy here because
someone makes a dad joke and I'm like, that's so funny,
and then I look at myself in the Mirrorly, I'm
not getting old. I don't want too.

Speaker 2 (01:26:41):
You are, all right.

Speaker 5 (01:26:42):
So, while Crumb is doing the morning preparations and Kyle
is arguing with him over the type of potion that
he's making, you and Alan go for a walk around
the ruins in order to find the tracks of that
lead out for whoever came in with that flower pot
the watering can there, and you know she is. She's

(01:27:07):
asked you to search while also giving any advice or
tips that she can. So go ahead and make me
some checks to track.

Speaker 3 (01:27:15):
Okay, so I'm making survival. Yeah, gotcha, let me pull
my can. Y'all stop trying to make me a laugh man,
see the promise. I see you in the corner of
my eye. I'm like, please stop propab. No, we're not
trying to. We're both burfing away from the mic. Yeah,
so what what am I? What am I rolling for?
What'd you get? I got an eleven total modifier question

(01:27:38):
mark survival? Oh nineteen?

Speaker 1 (01:27:41):
Okay, say very I was waiting for.

Speaker 5 (01:27:47):
And all right, with Aileen assisting you, I'm gonna say
her being a master hunter, she gives you a plus two. Okay,
so that brings that brings you up was a twenty
one because you had a nineteen, So it brings up
to twenty one.

Speaker 3 (01:28:01):
Dude, we just doubled down on nine plus ten.

Speaker 2 (01:28:04):
That's nuts.

Speaker 3 (01:28:04):
Sorry.

Speaker 5 (01:28:05):
You two together are able to locate at least four
sets of tracks that are seemed to be leading north.
Three of them are larger figures and one is smaller. Now,
the smaller figures could be almost anyone in the world
like this, right. It could be a female human, it

(01:28:25):
could be a goblin, it could be a gnome. There's
no way to tell exactly what. But you do see
three sets of large footprints and one set of small.
You guys make it back to the camp that you've made,
and at that point, I'm thinking that crom has finally
got his point across to Kyle about the potions.

Speaker 3 (01:28:46):
It's a moderate I just took a lesser.

Speaker 2 (01:28:51):
I don't know if that's what I'm supposed to be taking.

Speaker 1 (01:28:52):
No quick silver you get moderate.

Speaker 3 (01:28:55):
Coples.

Speaker 2 (01:28:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:29:00):
Well, so Allen comes up and she's still breathing heavy.
You know, she's sustained some pretty good damage, she says
the tracks, speaking mostly to Cromb and Kyle. The tracks
lead north for whoever was here and probably put that
watering can there to to crp this place. And I

(01:29:21):
don't know about you, gentlemen, but I intend to find
the person who caused this and make them pay for
hurting the forest like this.

Speaker 1 (01:29:31):
I will decapitate them for you, ma'am, thank you very much.

Speaker 3 (01:29:34):
I appreciate that I should load to another of fact.

Speaker 2 (01:29:37):
So who has a watering can? I would say I
do probably.

Speaker 1 (01:29:42):
Okay, are you wearing it on your head like a buckethheat?

Speaker 3 (01:29:45):
I would imagine not, because just like the coin, if
you touch it with bare skin, it burns your hand.

Speaker 2 (01:29:49):
Oh nice, it's my bag.

Speaker 3 (01:29:50):
Yeah, but you can hold you know, you have like
a rag or cloth that you're able to hold exfoliating.

Speaker 5 (01:29:54):
But I will say, when you did pull it off,
we flashed back to the night before, and you pull
it off off the obelisk, the water flowed freely, which
I think I mentioned, But you're also able to get
a little bit closer to the water and canon notice
that it has rooms scrawled on it that are they
seem to have corrupted its original purpose. But that's as

(01:30:18):
far as that can go. Right now, you just noticed
that this it is the watering can from your childhood.
Spooky and it's haunted and it's cursed, but something someone
did something to it. Now, is there anything you guys
want to do before you head out?

Speaker 3 (01:30:31):
Or do you just not want to head north? Totally
up to you, guys. Is the fire still going?

Speaker 4 (01:30:36):
Yeah, Crumb's gonna sit by the fire and say say
say fancy words to Narissa the whispering flame.

Speaker 2 (01:30:45):
What does he say?

Speaker 6 (01:30:49):
I know, Lsa, I don't know if you if you're
less of until there was probably at a thousand other
political that are also said stuff too. But look to
just give us a little health throughop of the upper mouse.

Speaker 3 (01:31:04):
Crumb.

Speaker 5 (01:31:05):
As you sit there with the cold dirt on your
little goblin ass, the front of your body is warmed
by the fire, but as you finish your prayer you
feel your soul warmed a little by the fire.

Speaker 2 (01:31:20):
All right, Kyle Lucas.

Speaker 3 (01:31:22):
If there's nothing else you guys would like to do,
I would say you head off. So you want to
do something else? Do you tell me nothing. I want
to figure out how to craft one of those flares
in hears. Okay, Alan would be happy to show you. You guys,
walk along. It's mostly collecting various minerals and powders and
things like that. We're not going to go into the
science of it. It's a scientists, but you're able to

(01:31:46):
find things out in the wilderness and make it.

Speaker 5 (01:31:51):
She does show you for the hell of it.

Speaker 3 (01:31:54):
I think the fun idea is you have to collect
two pieces of bark and like tie it together to
make a tube, you know, and that's like that's where
that holds all the minerals and powders and volatile material,
and that's what you sat down and then it will
shoot off from there.

Speaker 2 (01:32:08):
Gotcha? Gotcha?

Speaker 3 (01:32:09):
So Lucas made the snare in the cave with a
bunch of scrap. I don't know where that's from.

Speaker 2 (01:32:18):
It's reminnment.

Speaker 5 (01:32:19):
Oh, although that came out in what two thousand and six?
You were four two? Thanks damn. So yeah, you were
like a little kid. Even if you did watch, you
probablyn't remember. He doesn't eight. I'm sorry, I have a life.
I don't remember all the dates and booties fu nerd.

Speaker 3 (01:32:37):
That was unncessarily hostile, really was.

Speaker 1 (01:32:39):
Considering how big of a nerd, and you know, so
many dates and release times for so many films, probably
more than me, probably, and for multiple genres. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:32:48):
Was the original Jaws released like nineteen.

Speaker 1 (01:32:52):
Yeah, I would saying it was in the early early
eighties or late seventies.

Speaker 2 (01:32:55):
Right, I've never watched.

Speaker 5 (01:32:57):
I watched, just watched it, yeah, fact checking, don't one
more thing. I want to forget that, right, because every time. Okay,
it's a little admitting thing. So Dom's right. Every time
I watch a movie, I go to IMDb and I
go to the trivia page for every single movie I watch,
just because.

Speaker 2 (01:33:12):
I love that shit.

Speaker 3 (01:33:13):
I know what date did you say?

Speaker 2 (01:33:14):
Nineteen seventy eight, Oh.

Speaker 3 (01:33:15):
You're dyslexic is back by three years seventy five. Damn
I was close though.

Speaker 2 (01:33:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:33:21):
Oh sorry, Draws Revenge came out the Revengement eighty seven.
That's why I SAI.

Speaker 3 (01:33:26):
Talk like seconde.

Speaker 1 (01:33:28):
You guys don't talk about that one.

Speaker 5 (01:33:30):
It was terrible. The second one was barely passable.

Speaker 1 (01:33:32):
Be honest, i've seen a single Draws.

Speaker 5 (01:33:34):
The first one's surprisingly good. For the movie in the seventies,
It's not bad, and it was a masterclass intention building.
So as you guys walk through the woods, done done, No.

Speaker 1 (01:33:45):
It's and it's not done. It's undone and done and
then and done copyright Trademark.

Speaker 5 (01:33:52):
Okay, yeah, says you, sweet Caroline put.

Speaker 1 (01:33:55):
No, we're whistling, not saying it.

Speaker 4 (01:33:59):
I love that so much, bo bore any excuse me
to not whistle because I can't whistle that good.

Speaker 1 (01:34:08):
Fuck you, I can't whistle good either. We're talking about
I inhale whistle.

Speaker 3 (01:34:15):
So, yeah, what's happening on this trail? Another puzzle? I'm kidding.

Speaker 1 (01:34:22):
My kryptonite.

Speaker 3 (01:34:23):
I'm retiring from mythical misfits. If you throw a puzzle
at us again. That six you guys are walking along.
Alien leads into you, Lucas, She asks, do you see
it yet? I figured you would give me a perception check.
Oh no, Rubik's cube on the horizon. Next tube a tube?
Ridd uh twenty eight?

Speaker 2 (01:34:44):
You do see it?

Speaker 5 (01:34:45):
You see an attempt to hide a camp hidden in
between a thick collection of trees?

Speaker 1 (01:34:52):
Can Kyle do something kind of stupid and reckless? I
le can't see this yet because Kyle's not perceptive, he's
not looking for it.

Speaker 4 (01:34:59):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:34:59):
Wait, On says I saw it first. Can I make
my first choice real quick, and you do whatever you want.
I'm never gonna be your money.

Speaker 1 (01:35:04):
It all depends on if you tell us you see
it or not. Oh, of course, I'll tell you, guys, Okay,
that's what i want.

Speaker 3 (01:35:10):
I'll give you first choice.

Speaker 1 (01:35:11):
Go ahead, you take first choice.

Speaker 3 (01:35:12):
Yeah, I'll just say I'm gonna look to Allen and
I'm like, I'm gonna do my thing. I like snap
my hand into a thumbs up and just like walk
backwards into the bushes. Okay, like the Homer the Homer
Simpson meme. Yeah, it's just like stares at you like
I'm gonna I'm gonna like I'm gonna do like the
what's what's the guy with the buck teeth in that
one movie God? He drinks the asparagus and peas in

(01:35:33):
the found to hide his identity or hide.

Speaker 2 (01:35:34):
That he's there.

Speaker 3 (01:35:35):
Austin power, Austin power. I'm gonna be awestin power mover
like solely gets lower and lower. It's not like actually
like merge with the bushes. Wow, that's gonna be a
twenty twenty eight huh stealth right. I'm an idiot. Well
fuck wasted roll. I have a plus nine okay, a
trip as I go in, don't no, you slink into

(01:35:57):
the bushes. No, see, my luck is anytime I rolled
for myself, it's great for me. It's like hot dogs
except a wolf.

Speaker 5 (01:36:07):
And I was like, no, you slick into the shadow.
You don't even know them there, you don't even know
who you're there?

Speaker 3 (01:36:14):
Where am I?

Speaker 2 (01:36:15):
Yeah? That that's all I just I creep into the bushes.

Speaker 3 (01:36:17):
Start walking away.

Speaker 1 (01:36:18):
I whispered to the bushes, Lucas, do you want me
to smash?

Speaker 2 (01:36:24):
Bush?

Speaker 3 (01:36:25):
I'm too far, Lucas, do you want me to smash?
I don't fucking care. You're ruining my cover, and I
stand up out of the bush.

Speaker 4 (01:36:37):
Let me here the first bush.

Speaker 3 (01:36:47):
I do I have to.

Speaker 2 (01:36:51):
I got my dick out of you.

Speaker 3 (01:36:52):
I'm trying to piss the bushes. God, where's the fucking
privacy out here?

Speaker 1 (01:36:56):
I'm old my Johnson, you can't take a leak, and
I can't even do it because this guy's time in
the bush. I'm paying in and this guy's trying to
go smash the hidden tent.

Speaker 3 (01:37:04):
Holding his cross funneling my salon. He's trying to pass
in the bush.

Speaker 1 (01:37:11):
Dondol in my salaami.

Speaker 3 (01:37:13):
Anyway, So I have to ruin my stalth because I
yelled that's.

Speaker 1 (01:37:18):
How it works.

Speaker 3 (01:37:19):
Are you trying to sell the gain?

Speaker 1 (01:37:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:37:21):
Obviously, Now it's a fail.

Speaker 2 (01:37:23):
Okay, now smile, okay.

Speaker 5 (01:37:26):
Just like a sticky note with like Lucas's stealth. Put
on my monitor here because you stealth so much. I mean,
I'm gonna remember it plus nine now, but that would be.

Speaker 1 (01:37:34):
Funny Kyle's thought as if he sees it brought his
friend trauma. He's upset. Who's trying to kill the forest?
They really jacked up this lady. I want to just
run up to that hidden, that hidden tent and like
just cleave straight down into.

Speaker 3 (01:37:53):
It before we do that. How is the tent hidden?
I want to a tent you'd see it's like the
do an encampment? Oh how they hide it?

Speaker 2 (01:38:04):
I want tree.

Speaker 3 (01:38:05):
Branches that have been cut down a lot.

Speaker 2 (01:38:06):
They just like camouflage it. Yeah. Oh, which, I'm gonna
take note of that.

Speaker 5 (01:38:10):
The way you're able to notice this is that if
anybody's done that in the wilderness, for the first few days,
it looks fine. But as the tree branches begin to
lose moisture, their structures change and their color changes. So
you notice that you pick up on that that it's
slightly a different color than all the other branches around.

Speaker 3 (01:38:27):
I write that in my notebook while I move, like
I take a quick note of that, or it's like
a mental note.

Speaker 2 (01:38:32):
All right, what do you do, Kyle?

Speaker 1 (01:38:34):
Well, now that I heard it's an encampment, I'm not
gonna go slash it down.

Speaker 2 (01:38:39):
They'll be a coward.

Speaker 1 (01:38:40):
It's not a coward. I go down.

Speaker 2 (01:38:42):
If you're not a coward, and you go down, Kyle,
go ahead.

Speaker 3 (01:38:47):
I mean i'd say, Mamma, did it raise no bitch?
But I think she's dead, right, WHOA?

Speaker 1 (01:38:52):
I don't know, Oh really, I don't know. Oh you
never talked about that with I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:38:56):
I'm like, I'm like standing up in the bush again,
the conversation.

Speaker 1 (01:39:00):
Stealth again, loser, blood things for life.

Speaker 3 (01:39:06):
No, No, I don't. I do not stand out of
the bush again. Whatever role I have right now, I'm taking. Okay,
you know it's in that one. There's just some guy
right now in a washour watch me stand out of
the bush. Every couple of seconds, a talk shit to
my friends, disappears, like where the this guy going? Like
fifteen feet later, it's like a fucking idiot.

Speaker 1 (01:39:23):
He's there now, He's not he's there now, He's.

Speaker 3 (01:39:25):
Not average hit man. Gameplay all right, you.

Speaker 1 (01:39:28):
Know what, Crome, Uh, get a versatile viiole ready, not
Lucas in the bush, get a shot ready? Miss shadow
heart right, she's just like looking back and forth shadow
striding sorry shadow.

Speaker 3 (01:39:54):
Mix mix miss yeah, I definitely ig miss she she goes, yes.

Speaker 1 (01:40:03):
Get that bow ready. Okay, I'm gonna walk up to that,
to the dead branches real real, quietly.

Speaker 5 (01:40:11):
Actually roll me stealth, No Lucas roll perception.

Speaker 2 (01:40:19):
Ah fuck eighteen.

Speaker 5 (01:40:23):
So you notice he tells her to get that bow
ready and she doesn't. All right, what's your stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:40:28):
Modifier plus one that's untrained?

Speaker 2 (01:40:33):
Okay, what are you trying to do.

Speaker 1 (01:40:35):
I'm gonna try and quietly walk. I'm not trying to
like necessarily sneak up, but I'm definitely not trying to
make as little noise as I possibly can. A walk
up to where I see, like the dead branches and stuff.
I'm gonna kick it down.

Speaker 5 (01:40:47):
As you're walking up to the dead branches, the axe
on your back scrapes a branch above you and it cracks,
falling around you.

Speaker 1 (01:40:53):
Well, no point meaning quite anymore. I grab it and
I just take my eck swing down.

Speaker 3 (01:40:58):
No, he did it.

Speaker 5 (01:40:59):
The axe comes out cleaves through the branches which were
up against a tent, but it's only one part of
the encampment. As the tent collapses, the poles fall with
a clink, and the canvas falls under the ground on
top of them. You now smell copper, You smell charred wood.
You look ahead of you, You see what appears to

(01:41:22):
be an abandoned encampment. You hear a periodic clink as
something sways in the wind. A distant crow calls. Harsh,
damp morning air presses against you, and you see ahead
of you what appears to be the remnants of a battle.
It is some type of encampment, that one that someone

(01:41:43):
attempted to hide in the past, multiple tents, campfire location.
But now there are marks in the mud, There's a
couple of bodies laying on the ground. There's blood splattered everywhere.
There's creates, broken open rucksacks torn and shredded.

Speaker 2 (01:42:00):
What do you do, hey, Lucas.

Speaker 1 (01:42:03):
I don't think there's anything to hide from right now.

Speaker 3 (01:42:06):
I probably wouldn't hear.

Speaker 1 (01:42:07):
You guys, get over here, Lucas, you too, there's nothing
to hide from.

Speaker 5 (01:42:13):
Alien walks up trepidacious behind you, She goes, what do
you see?

Speaker 1 (01:42:17):
Dad? Bodies and there's no one here.

Speaker 5 (01:42:22):
You guys have a full camp in front of you.

Speaker 2 (01:42:24):
What do you do? What do you look for?

Speaker 1 (01:42:27):
I'm going to roll perception.

Speaker 2 (01:42:30):
Wait, don't you have lore warfare?

Speaker 1 (01:42:32):
I do? Would that help me? Anywhere.

Speaker 2 (01:42:34):
Yeah you can.

Speaker 1 (01:42:34):
I'm gonna go ahead and do a lore warfare check
to see if I can find m How could I
flavor this?

Speaker 2 (01:42:42):
There's a lot you can find off.

Speaker 1 (01:42:43):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I want to see what kind of
weaponry was used to to kill these people. I want
to see, you know, is there a specific tell of
maybe the type of people that were here? Like is
there a certain group that kills a certain way that
is a sixteen plus six that is twenty two.

Speaker 5 (01:43:04):
You walk up and you look at the bodies, You
look at the the slashes in the doors for the
makeshift huts that they put together, and you notice that
the edges are rough. They're not with clean made weapons.
It tells you it's very likely orc.

Speaker 3 (01:43:23):
Oh no, wait that checks out too. I'm thinking to myself,
look as I know, so that checks out. Can I
see what they're seeing from the distance? I am Yeah,
I would say so. Okay, can I do like a
click like over my shoulder real quick to make sure
no one's behind me?

Speaker 1 (01:43:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:43:35):
Give me a perception Stoy eighteen eighteen. You don't see
anybody around you? Okay, well, hopefully no one's behind me.
That would suck, do I see anybody in the camp, Like,
is there any.

Speaker 5 (01:43:48):
Like there's two dead bodies, there's no people moving about.

Speaker 3 (01:43:51):
Is there anything off putting about the camp other than
the factor's dead bodies?

Speaker 5 (01:43:56):
There's a lot of stuff in this camp.

Speaker 2 (01:43:59):
Okay, touch for me to just be like pick apart.

Speaker 5 (01:44:01):
Right, So I would say, what specifically are you looking
at or looking for?

Speaker 3 (01:44:06):
I'm looking for I'm looking for traps, traps. I'm looking
for anything that could be like maybe like this body
on the ground is laying on its chest, but the
shoulders slightly propped up in a way that doesn't seem natural,
like there could be something underneath it were when you
roll it over, it'll go off. Or maybe there's a
door that's cracked.

Speaker 2 (01:44:25):
A certain one.

Speaker 5 (01:44:26):
Yeah, yeah, give me perception check absolutely twenty one. You
do see some traps, Okay, you see some small traps
that were used as noise makers, strings with bells on them,
but they've already been broken. They lie broken and scattered
on the ground, evidence that the camp was preparing to,

(01:44:46):
you know, defend itself against discovery.

Speaker 7 (01:45:00):
The disputed out after the camp
