Speaker 1 (00:02):
Someone like you copyright strike. Oh no, well, this is
the mythical minute recording after episode four minutes is well,

(00:24):
I think we've only record a few at this point,
but basically the post episode talk show where we chat
about what happened, chat about our characters, where we plan
on going our thoughts on the story. What do you
guys got for me?

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Okay, only because he said I would forget and I didn't.
My favorite part of this episode was seeing Lucas's development
from being from socially inept we'll actually just showing how
socially nepty is and but also how much he can
relate to people and open up people once he realizes
they're on his like same wavelength. Cause he I hate

(01:01):
this town. I don't want to be here, you know.
I want to go home and I hate strangers. I
can't be around it. I don't like being around people
to being like, Yo, this man just snuck up behind
me with a dagger.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
This is sick.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Oh knuckles, bro. I was like, what the hell are
you doping?

Speaker 4 (01:20):
It's like a clam yeah, but it was.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
You're gonna say something sorry about that? I was chewing.

Speaker 5 (01:27):
I'm sorry. You can go ahead.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Oh, no, that's all I had.

Speaker 6 (01:30):
I feel like in that moment, if someone sneaks up
behind Lucas and he knows there's a chance he could die,
He's like.

Speaker 5 (01:37):
Well, I tried.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
I gave it my bead shot.

Speaker 6 (01:40):
Seriously, like you said it after the game if I
recalled curly, sorry not close enough. Oh no, he's got
stuffed mine quick. Remember you said that I passed. I
remember you said that I passed the stealth check on
my first movement. I was completely undete did the second

(02:01):
ones where I mess up because theyre old in that one.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
He rolled in that one for me.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
But still, yeah, either way, it kind of sucked for you.
It was.

Speaker 6 (02:09):
It was a cool experience, though, that was sick because
when I walked out, I was like, I bet you
guys didn't hear me that first time.

Speaker 5 (02:15):
They were all like, yeah, we dually heard you.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
But then I'm over here looking at the door for like.

Speaker 5 (02:19):
They fucking didn't.

Speaker 6 (02:20):
That was cool as shit, you know what I mean, Like,
for the first time, you know he was good at
something other than just sitting in a pond and you know,
throwing the line out.

Speaker 5 (02:30):
You know, he's finally.

Speaker 6 (02:31):
Able to be useful in a situation. Now, was it
in a situation where he needed to be useful? No,
but that for himself was a confidence boosts followed by
the fact that he killed a deer first try. I
don't think ever shooting large game before. Massive confidence boost
like that alone set Lucas into a different mindset as

(02:52):
a character. He's now developing that like, I am capable
of something. I am capable of taking challenges on even
if I don't want to.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
You know, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's good, that's cool. Glad
to hear. No, you're not having That's.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
The whole point.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
I think, I really so a part of me feels.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Like that was supposed to be combat with the with
the dudes uh in that previous night, and I feel
like I took that from some people, and I'm not
apologizing for it.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
It was not supposed to be one way or the other.
It was only supposed to be how it turned out. Man,
I'm still not apologians.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Pretty good, I'd say, I was kind of hoping to
hit some people and.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
Instead you struggled struggle trying to understand some dude at
a bar.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
You know what, man, dude that I have to say,
I'm soberg I said, at just how quick you picked
up on it, And right when I thought I was
getting it, I couldn't get it anymore.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
Uh, so there's a reason for that. So like back
in high school, I had had a friend named John
and it was it was his birthday, so he went
out over to his house and uh, what was everybody
was like playing.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Like Halo three? Uh in the house.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
I was outside with his family and they were cooking
like oysters over a grill. And he has an uncle
and I don't know what he was speaking speaking, but
it sounded similar to what Mike was doing. And he
you know, because I was eating oisters and he walks
up to me and he goes I was like, yeah, sure,
why not.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Speaking Yiddish?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
Like I told I told that same story to another guy.
He's like, oh, he's speaking Creole. I was like, I
don't know what creole sounds like.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Guest, guys, there's people, no, yeah, look creole.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
And not like a spice put them like chicken and stuff.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
It is also a people. Yeah to people, it's a
language down Louisiana. Creole spices like originated from from there.
So congratulations, you learn something today. So how is everyone
feeling about the story so far, with things that have
been revealed, mysteries that haven't been revealed.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
I'm feeling pretty good. I'm having fun at the end
of the day. That's what matters to me is that
I have fun.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
I like the slow burn.

Speaker 6 (05:32):
I like the fact we're able to take the time
and really feel everything.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Out chomping on ships.

Speaker 6 (05:38):
I don't want y'all to hear that, so I pushed
the mic away.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
I like the slow burn.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
I like the.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
I put it away, put it away, put it like
the fact the story get away from your face. What
I'm gone? Sorry, Yeah, no, you're I really do. I'm
just wanted to finish your said that's yeah. I didn't
think about it, but but yeah, I know.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Anyways, I'm over here antagonistic in people.

Speaker 5 (06:11):
The start is great, but okay, I love it. Cool cool.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
I like how you literally dropped a nuke and now
we're just like feeling the side effects.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Yeah. Yeah, I was talking to Kirby earlier about I'm
a little worried, this a little slow. If someone's listening
to this, this is very likely I'm gonna be on
the Patreon so they already support us, but I am
a little worried that it's too slow after the action
packed episode one, you think you're thinking too much into it.
That's It's basically what Kirby said. Kirby gave some good advice.
He's like, this is you know my story. I mean,

(06:42):
it's all of our stories my attention. Fan. Did you
run out and you had to interrupt my sentence?

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Yes, okay, you got You could have just talk over me.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Yeah, but remember we were just told that we do
really good at not talking over each other.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
Well play this is where we get to do.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
You're right, So Kirby has.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
No just like it's the way media works today is
if it doesn't hook you immediately, you're never gonna listen
to it again. So if it hooks you, you're gonna
want to find out what happens next, and you're gonna
keep listening and keep listening and keep listening. So short
form content, please keep listening, please move me right, yeah,
right right once in my life.

Speaker 6 (07:24):
This is an opportunity for us to all quit our
shitty Well. I know, some of us like our jobs.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
I'm back and forth.

Speaker 6 (07:31):
I feel the same way. Welding is awesome, But some days.
You're just like, I'm really tired of showering and molten metal.
You know, I could really live without this.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
I don't know how.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
I'm tired of angry dwarfs yelling at me, especially when
he's not an actual dwarf. Hm.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
He's just got small man syndrome.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
He's just madn I like six foot tall, so like
a lot of people, he's five to three.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
I feel good about myself again. You should always feel
good about yourself.

Speaker 5 (08:02):
No, no, you should.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Don't tell me what to do.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
You tell people what to do.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Go fund yourself.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
Why can you? Huh?

Speaker 1 (08:09):
I don't know, man.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Anyways, Yeah, and you smell of cheese.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
I'm having a blast again. I kind of wish Chrome
wasn't so wholesome. Shockingly the most wholesome out of the
whole group.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Apparently has the best social skills out of the whole group.
Yeah that too, and also shocking can de escalate situations
before they even start to escalate.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
I don't know, man, he almost blew up the Ravens.

Speaker 5 (08:38):
Pretty funny though that.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
I wish that happened like almost instantaneously. It's like a
blow it up. Hey man, I never say crom was stable.

Speaker 6 (08:46):
Also, I'm laying almost parallel with the table. This is
the comfyest I've been so far. I could barely see
mic over the laptop screens.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
Great.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
It would be so funny to just push your chair, dude.

Speaker 6 (08:54):
Honestly, if you did, I wouldn't even mad.

Speaker 5 (08:57):
It'd be funny.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Get on recording, somebody pushed my chair over.

Speaker 6 (09:04):
I do want to add, though, I do have one
comment about to flow the story. I feel like you're
very much like you know, when you pull on a
chainsaw and it revs up, but it doesn't actually start.
You start trying to crank it up. That's how I
feel the story is going right now. You crank it
and then you let it chill.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
So I'm pretty sure that's my fault for de escalating
what was a potential combat.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Not my small no.

Speaker 6 (09:25):
But but you know what, even then, that was another
ramp up in the story.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
We've developed new lore.

Speaker 6 (09:31):
We now know there's a new faction out there who's
gonna murder a goblin that can make beer.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
I wouldn't. That's very true, dude.

Speaker 5 (09:37):
That alone is a negotiating point.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
I'll be honest if I was them and a goblin
ran up to me. I don't care if he can
speak common fairly well, my predatory instincts would be too. Oh,
I'm killing it because he ran up on me and
the middle of the night and said he make makes mombs.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
It's nice to know how you really feel. Kyle.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
No, not Kyle, not Kyle.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
I'm saying Kyle's I am.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Yeah, I've you, of all people, should know how goblins
treat the other people.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
You've been murdered by several, that's true.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
Why you gotta bring up bullshit.

Speaker 6 (10:15):
For I'm just saying beefing, that's what's that's why shut up.
I will say that the dynamic is faalless.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
No, you didn't strike a nerve. See what had happened
was is that the goblins attacked me to try to
bring out the real me. I'm not a human swashbuckler.
I'm a goblin whatever the I want.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
To be, that's right, trying to from.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
The human curtain, the human curtain, the human curtain, the
human curtain.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
So he metamorph you metamorphosized.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
No, he died, and so I made a goblin like.

Speaker 6 (10:51):
Oh, by the way, for the listeners, if you I

Speaker 1 (11:46):
No wait wait wait.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait anybody?

Speaker 5 (11:52):
Okay, No, I'm not slaming anybody.

Speaker 6 (11:53):
I'm not slaming anybody, But if someone wants something fresh
and new and potentially different. This is an opportunity. This
is the great opportunity, you know, show support. It brings
someone into something new. You know, if you like Pathfinder
and everybody's like eve padas you need and you're like, well,
listen to the well okay, for some reason, a collade
between the two crowds right now.

Speaker 5 (12:15):
But there you get what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (12:17):
If you would like to bring other people into Pathfinder
without feeling you're dragging them, you give them an opportunity
to experience it and listen to it. This is an
amazing opportunity. And I don't think you realize that we're
literally just four dudes sitting in my scarage right now,
Like seriously, I want you to know that we are
regular people just like you, having a good time where

(12:38):
a bunch of buddies. We sit around, we have a beer,
we play you know.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Tabletop games.

Speaker 5 (12:42):
We this is what we love, this is what.

Speaker 6 (12:44):
We do, and we are proud to show it off
to the listener.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
So thank you for support.

Speaker 6 (12:50):
You know, pass around if you can, and if you
can't support us monetarily support us with your attention. It
means more than I think we can say in just
a mythical minute it.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
No regular as dude, I'm special as fun.

Speaker 5 (13:07):
Why I really hope no one heard.

Speaker 6 (13:10):
I forgot we're being recorded.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
Oh yeah, no, I have to cut that.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
No you could.

Speaker 5 (13:17):
You could just bleep it though.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
Whops, everybody all right.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
I do want to ask, since we're four episodes in, Kyle,
I want to let go over to all you guys, dom,
how are you feeling about Kyle? Is he kind of
aligning with what you originally envisioned when you first made him?

Speaker 3 (13:36):
How is he?

Speaker 1 (13:37):
How is he not evolving?

Speaker 2 (13:42):
So Kyle, honestly, it's kind of my interpret Okay, he
still kind of is a little bit, but I feel
his path.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
Kind of shifting, and I kind of keep that a
little bit of a secret.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Yeah, you don't have to give away.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
I initially made Kyle as as a slightly more serious
rendition of Dave the Barbarian, whimsical, fun, kind of stupid.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
But at the same time, I feel.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
That he's definitely growing in a sense I didn't expect
him to, especially with some of the knowledge of giving
I mean, three not twenties tonight in a row kind
of especially that last one gave me a little bit
of foresight that I didn't think he would grasp. So
I'm kind of about the crossing Hammers. Yeah, I already

(14:39):
forgot what the nation was called. I didn't take a note.
I know, just it's to the west right of where
my home village was.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Because the cause run Dar, Cous run Dar.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
So you know, with that, I wasn't expecting Kyle to
kind of b the brute force. I mean, I know
he's a barbarian, but just wasn't expecting that. I was
definitely expecting to be, you know, hitting stuff, but not
being one of the soul damaged dealers. I kind of
want to see my alchemists do something cool soon.

Speaker 5 (15:17):
There's a lot of cool ship do not no no.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
No, no, I'm talking in combat. Besides throwing whiffs. I say,
I'm a.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Whiff till I die.

Speaker 6 (15:26):
He's like a support DPS dude. I'm a single target
like I'm a boss hunter.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
Dude.

Speaker 5 (15:31):
That's what rangers are supposed to do.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
And that's what I'm saying, one of the one of
the of the soul damage dealers. Because you can do
damage to boss killers, I can't do ship.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Yeah, you can play your character wrong.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
Well, I'll be heading home, y'all.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Pleasure you were, and that's fine. We none of us
caught it. It's all good. But yeah, so that's that's
that's where Kyle's at.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
Zane, How how are you feeling about Lucas?

Speaker 6 (15:55):
I think so My problem is is I when I
play this character, I play him as Lucas, I'm not
saying when I sit in this chair, when I talk
into this microphone, when I sit in this chair and
I look at this this monitor, I'm not saying I'm Lucas.
Nothing about me is zaying. And so I feel like
there's no way I can say this is how I
wanted Lucas to be, this is how I wanted Lucas

(16:16):
to be over here. It's however Lucas is portrayed in
the moment, is who Lucas is, and then I simply
play off of what's happened in the past.

Speaker 5 (16:23):
You know, example, like.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
He was pretty social in the village. You know, he
was having a good time.

Speaker 6 (16:29):
You know, he seemed very welcoming and friendly to everyone,
but he was still kind of like, okay, leave me alone,
Like I need my me time, right, I need to
be left alone and do my thing.

Speaker 5 (16:36):
But now that we're in a new village, Like, get
the fuck away from me? Who are you people? You
know what I mean?

Speaker 6 (16:40):
Like he's you know, that's who Lucas is, you know,
and with this new group. You know, if if you
guys have listened to the most recent episode as of now,
witchably this four, I hope you would have listened to
mythical minute. You know, he's he wants to enjoy the
social aspect, but he does not know how to enter it,
and it's kind of like he doesn't want to entry.

(17:00):
He doesn't want to risk being socially awkward. So it's
that he just watches from a distance and he just
laughs and smiles about whatever they're laughing and smiling about
without them knowing he's there, which is awkward in some
sense and creepy in others, But from his point of view,
he's just like, if I don't get involved, I can enjoy.

Speaker 5 (17:16):
It from afar.

Speaker 1 (17:18):
Yeah, okay, all right.

Speaker 6 (17:21):
I also think that the deer I didn't actually think
I was gonna hit it and not.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
Gonna lie oh deer. Yeah, they don't have a high
ac I know, but.

Speaker 6 (17:28):
Know you were there, but like instat killing it, yeah,
and then having to like go clean it was definitely
a wake up call for him, you know, because he's
been trying to step into the hunting aspect of nature.
He knows, he's always been a fisherman. He never hunted
until now. And his first hunting kill was a full
sized dough.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 6 (17:47):
Like, and I think that that alone, he didn't say
anything about it, but that alone kind of.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
Flipped a switch.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
You know.

Speaker 6 (17:55):
He's like, Okay, I'm hunting creatures. This is this is
a full sized beam is being as big as I am,
you know, And I think it's kind of changing his
thought process between sneaking up on a group of soldiers,
you know, killing a full sized animal, like, it's starting to.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
To alter the way he thinks. I can see it.
I can see it. I'm excited to see where it's
gonna go from there, Kirby, how's Crome compared to what
you originally envisioned him as?

Speaker 4 (18:26):
So crom started out as a joke and then slowly
just became the embodiment of my intrusive thoughts. And I'm
gonna be honest with everybody at this table, i don't
know what the fuck I'm doing.

Speaker 5 (18:42):
Who does?

Speaker 3 (18:43):
Bro? That's the fun of this.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
All right, all right, so you know.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
Sorry kind of like sorry to interrupt, but it's really
funny that you say that, because my entire time of
thinking is like damn like Cromness, that's all his intrusive thoughts.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
Win.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
Yeah, So the fact that you just openly admitted to
chrome is the physical embodiment of your intrusive thoughts just
confirms furthermore that chram is just this heretic that is
gonna be unleashed sometime. It's like, I love it.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
I will so I will think things through, just not
for that law.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
It's like this, I'm gonna go with that one. If
I don want to thought for three more seconds, Option
three probably would have been better.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
Killed the goat fun fact, three people said that I
might have ADHD, and they might be right.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
So is Crome just your ADHD?

Speaker 4 (19:37):
Like I don't know if if if I get tested
and I don't have it, I'm gonna be really confused.

Speaker 6 (19:43):
We're gonna have to make a report on mysical myth uh,
mythical minute.

Speaker 5 (19:51):
I have to make a report on mythical minute. That's
like update on on curt not In fact.

Speaker 4 (19:56):
It's just gonna It's not even gonna be a mythical minute.
It's just gonna be like random social media posts.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Second, yeah, because you can't contry past the second.

Speaker 5 (20:07):
Extra extra read all about it. Kirby does not have ADHD.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
It's just gonna be like our Patreon like episodes, episodes,
mythical men and mythical men, and it's just like somewhere randomly,
it's like Kirby doesn't have ADHD and it's just episode episode.

Speaker 5 (20:18):
The comments are bun up.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
What the fuck?

Speaker 3 (20:21):
So what's wrong with him? We don't know either.

Speaker 5 (20:25):
We might have to do a hard research.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Figure that out. This is nineteen ninety three. Hey, crime's
a good outlet, you know. They're all your chaos into him.

Speaker 5 (20:34):
S like onions in here and I don't know why.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
Crumbs a blast though. That's pretty good.

Speaker 5 (20:41):
I like that, but I'm that's pretty good as well.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
Yeah, he's fun. I like the chaos, and it's fun
for me as a DM because I got to roll
with it too, so I enjoy it.

and creativity all at one.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
No no, no, not yet. No, that's that's that's that's so, that's.

Speaker 4 (21:01):
The equivalent of your home game and adding Dom to
it and Dom playing a fighter, and so now you
have to up the challenge rating because Dom does too
much damage.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
Yeah it is true, isn't it. Yeah?

Speaker 1 (21:16):

isn't no kidding?

Speaker 5 (21:42):

Speaker 2 (21:43):
So Titan maler specialization at level seven, when using your
larger weapon, take your additional six damage to a flat ten.
If you have greater weapons specialization, increase that ten to eighteen.
Good wow, holy no matter what minimum eighteen damage?

Speaker 3 (22:03):
Guess what?

Speaker 5 (22:04):
I have greater proficiency?

Speaker 1 (22:06):
How do you better?

Speaker 5 (22:07):
How do you see next? Like your future?

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Go to your well, no, it's in your go to
your feets and if your feets have levels, then yeah,
the only thing that's except what sucks about Titan maller,
is you stop getting bonuses level nine?

Speaker 3 (22:20):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (22:21):
These are class feats?

Speaker 5 (22:22):
Correct? Yes, gotcha? What class feats do rangers.

Speaker 3 (22:25):

Speaker 1 (22:26):

Speaker 1 (22:31):

at level seven, I don't know what to tell you.

Speaker 1 (22:50):

get at level seven. Well, here's some monsters at level
seve with eighty seven health, ninety and fifteen to twenty.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Yeah, but twenties like boss class. Let's be honest.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
Here my proficiency with well, actually I don't know because
if I roll at twelve with eighteen, that's thirty damage.

Speaker 3 (23:09):
That's like five hits.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
That's that's all I get. I just get some stuff
bumped to expert. That's all I get.

Speaker 4 (23:17):
Level seven that's rough, buddy, It's okay.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
