(00:00):
Let us say that everything that hasto do with the development of the natural
market in Peru has surprised us thereception it has had. This is Evert
Díaz Acosta. He is manager ofpromigas operations Peru that with a team of
more than 150 people he directs, are responsible for ensuring that natural gas is
reliably distributed to the final customer. And that' s how it became part

(00:27):
of promises. My story today isto begin engaged in the year two thousand
two and after many experiences and othercompanies of the group, again in two
thousand nineteen December, because it arrivesin Peru and I am here since then.
Thus contributed the development of these companies, making them reach all their goals,

(00:48):
something that also does for quabi andthat will detail us in this chapter.
This is more gas, more life, a podcast to tell the stories
of the positive impact of natural gasto transform the lives of more than a
million Peruvians in the north of thecountry and Vaya, which has transformed the

(01:10):
lives of many people in an entirecountry. Many communities are calling on us
to ask for natural gas, togovern, making efforts to be able to
carry that Nara populations. It issurprising because the impact of gas, the
perception of benefits of communities, hasreally been very good. That' s

(01:30):
right, Peruvians, who have alreadyknown and heard about the benefits of using
natural gas, want to have thisresource in their homes, which is much
cheaper and safer. So much isthe importance that the State is adding efforts
to speed up the arrival of thisservice both families. At present we continue
to grow, we continue to ape. Networks like punching are government resources that

(01:53):
are being handed over to us andin the short term we have to build.
About eight hundred kilometers have been assignedto us. Hebr refers to the
program with punch Peru, by whichthe State provides the additional economic resources to
those already invested by QUABI and otherdistributors to massify natural gas in the country.

(02:15):
In the case of our Northern Contions, the main challenge is this,
that is, to be able toadvance this year about six hundred kilometers that
we already have assigned the two concessionsand about two hundred more that would be
budgeted for the first trimester of nextyear important loans because they involve having a
high capacity to execute and align resourcespersonal internal contracts, connecting those residential customers

(02:39):
and being able to meet the expectationsthat the Government is asking us for,
for which it has given us theseenlargement agreements. What a challenge. You
can imagine how many families and companiesare benefiting from natural gas. But for
a moment, how quabi thinks tocare for more than two hundred fifty thousand
families that already have connected and aboutone hundred industries that already use natural gas.

(03:04):
To see, there are clear steps. One infrastructure. We have ambitious
growth plans. We will grow onvarious fronts between this year and two thousand
and twenty- five. We willset up a plant of about four thousand
cubic meters of LNG to serve thefishing market. We also have to count

(03:24):
twenty a tank is about twelve vaporizedof forced. That' s a plant.
Let' s say an important sizeand also about 27 new LNG systems
that will also bring the gadas.Expand capacity in more stations to serve more
solar industries, vehicles and shops. It makes a lot of sense Wow,

(03:46):
ever has everything set up. Let' s go to the second point,
two diversification another little bit Basically keepgrowing in the industrial market, in the
residential market. When this ma depunch, this won' t stop. We
will continue to bring gas to eachof the communities in which we are currently
serving, in new communities, butthey will also be very present at the

(04:09):
industrial level. We are going toconnect agro- industrial cement companies, we
are going to connect businesses in Piuraand continue to grow in the five cities
that we also have of population. We have exactly, let' s say
what is presence and we' readding new populations to new connections. That
' s where we' re addingup populations like the high, the turtle,

(04:30):
expanding, say, areas in Paitaand what is Piura in the Piura
region. With the subject of thesteel pipeline, the gas pipeline, little
by little we are connecting all thecustomers that we have the business plan,
we have the refinery consuming important volumeson one peak day that is very important
how good it is to hear ofthe growth that benefits everyone. True,

(04:54):
this development that helps households, industries, businesses and the vehicle market has the
same potential and is responsible for theenvironment. Because, look, this whole
growth plan, which tells us tosee goes hand in hand with respect and
care for the environment, is notgreat. Heber also has this planned in
two big steps. Others say,as a company responsible for the environment,

(05:18):
we have a commitment to reduce theseemissions. So, in order to basically
bring our operation closer together, itis sustainable over time and we do not
affect the environment. So, astoday' s company ANGAS, in Peru,
we have a road map already definedfor this. One will start by

(05:38):
better controlling emissions. We have designedsome plans, some programs to be able
to somehow attack those emissions that weare producing to the environment and power,
in two stages or so that itgoes up to two thousand twenty- eight,
to be able to achieve up tofifty percent zinc and four percent more
or less of those emissions to reducethem, that is, eliminate them.

(05:59):
And from here, at forty,we' re looking to be carbon neutral.
Hever refers to being a carbon neutralcompany, a company that takes the
necessary measures to maximize its environmental impact. And the other step is to use
low carbon fuels. As he tellsyou, there, we work what is
virtual gas, we use trucks andthese trucks, because they use fuels.

(06:20):
Currently in a large percentage our fleet, that says, but we have worked
for two years to build CNG andLNG filling stations to be able to convert
these desert trucks to natural. So, natural gas is a fuel. An
Olympian combustion has thirty percent less seoemissions. And let' s say we

(06:42):
' ve already started, we've already built the stations and we'
re acquiring the first tracts of theAGNB trucks and Génere that are arriving by
the end of this month. Wealready have two of our own, our
own in the stations that are goingto start operating soon TA and that is
how COABI will manage to take thenatural gas to more Peruvians. All of
this through major strategies that ensure thedevelopment of the same company in the country

(07:06):
of all Peruvians and all this ensuringthe care of the environment. That'
s how all people are. Behindthe whole process of distribution of natural gas,
we are energy that drives development. So we reached the end of our

(07:27):
second season of more gas plus life. If you find any episode helpful to
