Speaker 1 (00:00):
Reminder, one more reminder on this, but giving days off
to a solid start, really good start. Actually, we appreciate
everyone's support. You know, you have the rest of today
and tomorrow so we can unlock, you know, a few
of these amazing challenges. It's been awesome offseason getting to
know some new people. Reflecting on Saturday, you know, just

(00:20):
back to back weeks, it's kind of a tale of
two halves. I'm not sure that we can play any
better in both second halfs to Illinois State and Southern Illinois,
But the bottom line is, you know, just defensively, we
defended forty two plays again in the first half, and
I think offensively going one for four on third down

(00:41):
does not help that situation. But tackling their quarterback being
an extraordinary player extending some drives, but our missed opportunities
with tackles really gave them some opportunities as far as
staying on the football field. And like I said, we
got to do better offensively, providing some relief with that.

(01:02):
But then you fast forward to the second half and
it's almost just flip the storyline, and that's a positive,
right us coming out in the third quarter getting a
score code green was two for two on third downs,
created two takeaways, taking us to plus nine on the season.
And then offensively, outside of taking a knee again on
third down and we have five of those, we were

(01:25):
seven for seven on third down, and we were ten
for ten passing, and I do want to make mention,
you know, three really good throws, I mean one in rhythm,
just boomed by Nathan Hayes. Three completions there, and so
that was a positive. And then we had seven explosive
plays on the day, six different players doing you know,
being part of that, and four.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
In the second half.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
So I just I look at the second half and
we played really really good football. Again, I compliment the
assistant coaches in the leadership, getting in the locker room,
you know, paying attention to the details and coming out
with great, great resolve. The contrasts in yardage, you know,
just to give you guys some insight on this, three
hundred and eighteen yards for the offense on forty two plays.

(02:10):
And then defensively and I don't know how you want
to chart their last positive drive, but one hundred and
seventeen yards giving up on nineteen plays. So really good
complimentary football. You know, we moved on pretty quick to
Week eight and Week eight subjectives here. You know, I
want to give you guys some insight. You know, prepare
and practice great period, okay, that allows you to you know,

(02:30):
to play well on Saturdays, improve on the details needed,
you know, to be the most physical team in the country,
which is blocking our breaking tackles and tackling and then
blocking and block destruction. And then we got to clean
up just in some of those really tough situations our
defensive backs were and we got to clean up.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Some of that technique and fundamentals. Way too many.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Penalties as far as pi's and defensive holding. We're gonna compete.
We're gonna value these NDSU versus NDSU reps. You know,
we'll get probably forty two of those over the course
of today and tomorrow. I would like our guys to
be obsessed with improving and playing to the standard that
you know, we've kind of established here over time.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
The challenge for our guys is.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
You know, what kind of competitor are they going to
be coming up on Saturday here? You know, are you
going to be a competitor, which means that you need
to be inspired by others. There has to be a
really big time environment for you to be the best
you can be, or are you going to be a
true competitor, which means that you just do your very
best and you compete really hard and don't look at

(03:33):
outside influences at all. At the forefront for us will
be to continue to ignore the noise in the chatter
about comparisons, rankings, how well we do this, how well
we do that. It's it's imperative that we have a
no big picture point of view right now or attack plan.
You know, we got to stay singular minded and quite frankly,

(03:55):
as far as I'm concerned, that just.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Means that we got to go practice great today. So
with that, let's open up for questions.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
You guys will have some things on Indiana State, and
I'll touch base on them as well.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
What do you expect from the quarterback number ten?

Speaker 1 (04:12):
That's what we're planning for right now, planning on seeing him.
You know, he's got two hundred and fifty yards on
the year roughly, you know, plus fifty percent, two touchdowns,
one interception.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
But you know, that's kind of it. It's like perfect
timing for us.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
We just need to be focused on us right now,
but that's who we're planning on. And then like if
the other guys play, the other guys play.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Dam it's been a bit since you've been to tarall
you remember about that and this this trip coming up,
this one, I.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Remember Easton's Carson Wentz breaking the risks and that was
Easton's first start. And then I have these I do
have a few memories of Darius Anderson playing a role
in that game in the past game and we were
running a bunch of two back stuff to try to
help Easton with the power read game, and it just
kind of being one of those kind of you know,
muddy affairs.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
A little bit.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
The biggest memory I have with Indiana State is them
beating us out here in twenty twelve. We had a
really good team and we decided to throw the ball
to them twice on two pick sixes, and that that
has stayed with me for a while. And then as
you think about their team right now, you know, Kurt
Mallory's a first class professional.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
You know, he's a great teacher.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
He's become one of the friends that you know, I've
been able to develop a relationship in the league. You know,
his relationship with Grant working together, and then Craig Bowl
hiring at at Wyoming just you know, gives you some
insight to a person. And then we had you know,
we've had dinner and a couple social events three or
four times since I've gotten here. So he's doing a
good job with their team. They play, they respect the game,

(05:48):
they play together. They play extremely hard. They're willing to
do whatever it takes on defense to take away.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
One of your elements.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Last week they matched South Dakota five D lineman versus
twenty one personnel and twelve personnel. It's just saying, hey,
we're gonna make it done and tough on you to
run it and then actually if you added another another
tight end or fallback, they went to six D lineman.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
And so, you know, I respect.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Kurt Mallory's competitive spirit and his guys when they talk,
you know, you can tell there's a cohesiveness right now
still and they're playing extremely hard.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
We're seeing time and possession has been really in your
guys's favor so far the season. You know, how much
does that have been the offensive line just you know,
taking care of what they need to on the front lines.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Yeah, it's interesting speaking to the old line. They're playing well.
Coach Prong had a really good game plan for us,
especially versus the shotgun run game last last week. And
we'll have better answers, and we need to have better
answers moving forward the old.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Lines past protecting.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
You know, some of these scrambles are happening after Cole's going,
you know, through the progression one, two, three and then
kind of trying to find it back and then you
know they got us covered up and he can hurt
you with the feet, right, But those are opportunities provided
you know, from the old line.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Very rarely has he just been.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Knocked down immediately or knocked off his progression really quickly.
So time of possession, I you guys know how I'm
gonna react. It's about third down conversions. We're all the
way up to fifty eight percent on our charts. Again,
what are we nationally fifty two percent? And so those
things provide opportunity for us to stay on the field,
which provides opportunities for explosive plays, and then it provides

(07:27):
opportunity for more guys to play.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Everybody's happy. They're playing pretty well.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Williams back this week.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Okay, So the injury report update, Finn will be as
much as six weeks out. Okay, I think that Finn's
gonna battle him. I would bet that we get him back.
Quicker Ray James as it go, he's gonna he's gonna
do everything he can to play for us this season
and see how long he can take his shoulder. Jalen

(07:53):
Archibaal's back and that's kind of important because we were
really high on him with the special teams units and
so forth and so on, and so he'll get back practicing.
He actually was out there yesterday. Alex Elliott, this is
just unbelievable me going through his shoulder and kind of man,
I'm on week fifteen. I can't do anything. But Alex Elliott,

(08:15):
you know, is one to two weeks away from practice again.
And that's a six foot three guy that's two hundred
and twenty pounds. That gives us some depth at sam
weinbacker and on special.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Teams and he's been really locked in. I've been impressed.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
To answer your question, Carson's day to day and that's
I think it's gonna be Saturday morning. Okay, he'll get
a few reps here and there, but Saturday morning it'll
probably be a decision on him.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Just want to be really smart.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
It's kind of a reoccurring thing from fall camp where
the injuries at and I just I don't want this
to turn into a long term deal for him.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
I Reese has a bigger role now with this.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
Yeah, I mean you're going to see Reese, right, I mean,
Reese has to have a bigger role. We're down basically
two starting tight ends at this point, and you know,
it doesn't scare me. It just doesn't because I think
we could run the ball on a ten personnel if
we had to, or we could run it out of eleven.
But now Zenzen's role gets increased. You know, Reye Kessel's

(09:11):
role gets increased. He continues to get better in the
run game, and that's where he just you're not going
to see him be an every down player yet, but
he's got to continue to grow and get better in
the run game.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
But man was he moving.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
I think he was matching Rajah almost stride for stride
there as they raced to the ball because our spacing
was pour on his big catch that's in the old.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Line a little bit.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
How would you you know say that Bow and Josh
Megan played the first halfway through.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Of the year.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Well, Bose played dominant at times for sure. You know,
there's just a couple of runs that are sticking out
my mind from the film, like we cannot get edges
set on us when we're trying to run the wide
zone play. We're supposed to be the one setting edges
and building walls, okay, And so I kind of pulled
Mpy in and I just said, you know, we can
play better.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Okay, we dial up a run.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
We need four and a half five and we're looking
for more five yard plays than we are four. They've
been really good, all things considered their first year starters. Guys,
we don't have a senior in that old line. Freely
Freely is finishing people and playing at an all American level.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
That's what I'd like to talk about.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
I think the other guys have some room for improvement,
including Tasted, and then MP's playing at a pretty darn
high level. But I think we got to pick it
up a little bit, you know, that challenge. We can
talk about it here because I already said it to
him yesterday. We need to play better and more consistent
production out of the tailback run game, especially early in games.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
It seemed like the last couple of weeks you just
warrant teams down late in the game. What would you
attribute that.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
To live strength and conditioning program?

Speaker 1 (10:46):
And we have a very clear thought process and how
we go about our business for three hundred and sixty
days a year. Okay, that's what I contributed to our
process and how we lay it out, and then how
the student athletes attack it, okay, And they really take
advantage of a bunch of adults and teachers that really

(11:09):
want to pour into a young man being the best
they can be.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
When you get that going it.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
You know, it usually results in pretty good conditioning, a
lot of improvement and opportunity to win games. And that's
what I contributed to. It's it's a really good, all
year round process. And it most certainly don't hurt that
you get the support from the administration to say, hey,
you know, Tim, you really think a third strength coach
could be valuable. Yeah, not only just for football. We're

(11:37):
going to provide some technology and some science to this place.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
That's been a great addition.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
And Ryan Appley coming back here most certainly has added
value and he's doing a good job that team over
there is doing a good job getting our guys ready.
I feel the same way. We are running at a
very high rate, and we are playing extremely hard, and
I just that's the thing I'm most excited about. If
we play that hard, you should be a tough out.
That kid broke out and Ryan Jones got him one time,

(12:05):
and another time he broke out, we got it tackled
to the ground.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
That's a big deal.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
In all the games previous to that, those were fifty
yard forty yard touchdown runs.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
You open talking about giving day and compared to two
thousand and six when you first got here. How also
a role of head coach changed. I mean, did you
ever see Craig Ball doing as much as what head
coaches do these days?

Speaker 2 (12:27):
No, coach.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
I think coach did a really good job with certain
people and related really well to not only the people
in Fargo, but the people out west. You know, I'm
trying to create and cultivate those relationships. For an example,
you know, Derek Lang, you know, we did a zoom
last night with about fifty people you know on the
Green and Gold Fund to give them some insight to
the program, to give them some insight to how we

(12:48):
want to move forward. You know, you just never would
have had to do that or never even thought about
doing it. And we want to create those special opportunities
for the people that are supporting this program. And so
I I just I know this. The first day I
was in my office, it was unbelievable. And I won't
get emotion. I'll fight it off a little bit, but
knock Craig Bowl walks in. Hey, young man, don't forget

(13:12):
it's the last day you ever coach football again. You're
pretty good at that. We'll see how you do at this.
I just know that there's certain there's certain tasks. I
truly enjoy it, the connectivity to the BFPA, to our supporters,
to our fans, and to our friends. But it is
it's more than I even anticipated. But this job is

(13:32):
very unique in that way that you have to provide
energy and punch and insight to so many people that
do care about this program.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
And I want to say thank.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
You to sixteen sixty to you guys. The radio show
has been nothing but a fun activity. I know Jill
text me at about seven thirty, can we please go
to date night? But like it's fun to be there
and be around those people, and so I think all
that stuff has grown. And then most certainly the things
even on vacation, you know, we're we're touching base with
what I would call as friends. But these supporters are

(14:04):
just unbelievable and we can't do what we're doing. We
cannot sustain winning and everything with giving day. This year
is all about helping us win right now, and we're
so grateful for it and it makes this job very
very special.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Coach at all, got a couple of punches in there.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
You're yes, I work extremely hard on Sundays and Mondays
and Tuesdays with getting through the things that I want
to get through to be part of the game planning.
But I gotta be honest. Dan Dan Larson is the
head football coach of the offense and Grant Olsen is
the head coach of the defense. And those guys are

(14:44):
doing an unbelievable job leading their groups. Okay, And then
those guys are teaching right and football. It's very important
for me that we hire really good teachers and that
we can trust those guys that are gonna bring passion
and energy every day and that they're going to get
the job done. The game plans have been really good
for these first six games. My hat goes off to
both of those guys in the leadership role that they're in.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
Tim Alex Elliott, I guess when we talked in August
was season ending?

Speaker 2 (15:10):
What changed here?

Speaker 1 (15:11):
Well, I mean, I don't know anything about X rays
and all that. I just know his shoulder. It looked
like a he was in a car wreck. But those
are bones and not ligaments and tendons and cartilage and
all that stuff. And so he's basically just he stayed
on track. You know, right when it happened, Tris said
ten weeks I kind of went all right, so we'll
get him back doing something with us in fourteen, And

(15:34):
he's just kind of ahead of schedule, and he's worked
really hard. Really appreciate his diligence as far as being
around the drills, being in meetings, and being proactive with
his with his teammates.

Speaker 4 (15:45):
A verdict from the Valley on Darius's.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Yeah, Darius will be out the first half.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
And after looking at it, listen, that's a bang bang
played by two aggressive football players. I guess if that's
gonna happen, it just happens. I'm really grateful that Devin
Climbing really developed some depth in that room, and Darius
will be ready to come out of the locker room
in the second half and that'll be an added punch
for us.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
But he'll he'll be out in the first half.

Speaker 5 (16:09):
You're a fin of talking about rankings, but I mean,
you're scoring defense is top of the country. But what
are you seeing out of your defensive tackles. Because I
know the linebackers are you know, the headliners, but the detackles,
how do you feel they've been playing well?

Speaker 2 (16:22):
I think extremely good.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
You know, in fact, a couple of the runs that
have come out for eight or nine yards has been
there's been a miscommunication and they're with a younger player.
And I'm not going to mention his name because he's
doing a great job. But if we get a couple
of those things communicated. When when we're in when you know,
any combination of Logan, Dot and Heifer and Keenan are
in there, it's like we haven't skipped a beat. You know,

(16:46):
you don't flinch on graduation day. Next man up, let's
rock and roll. When we're interjecting the really super talented
Vanderpohl and Elijah, they just have to do a really
good job of getting the communication, you know, from the sidelining.
Some of that's the temple that Illinois State and Southern
Illinois were playing with. But I've been really pleased. Quite frankly,

(17:06):
I didn't realize. I thought it was the other way around.
I thought Toby stripped it and Keenan recovered. You know,
the game happens fast man. Keenan's put together back to
back weeks where he's had sacks and impactful plays, and
then dut and e for a TfL or two.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Those guys are playing at an all conference level.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
But I have yet to study, you know, some of
our other opponents that are coming down the road too.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
How would you assess the secondary?

Speaker 4 (17:29):
So far?

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Really good.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
I still feel like a little bit unchallenged or a
little bit unmatched. I mean number two was targeted, you know,
ten times and had three catches. Guys, Okay, they put
him at number three. We got a little bit of
a man coverage call. Right, we're matched up, and they
run what we calls a Fenway fade from inside. It's
the most difficult route to cover because there's all that
grass back shoulder over the top. Take him to the

(17:54):
sideline right, and so I wish the coverage was a
little tighter with with Crumby there, and then I would
also include our Sam linebacker when we talk about coverage,
and I think he was what was he four for four?
He had a really good pause play where they number
two dropped the ball. I mean he just sat in
that window. I think that caused the throw to be
a little bit outside. I think Duffy's playing at a
high level. Our confidence with jaqis he played forty plus reps.

(18:18):
I think that's the most he's played here. Some of
those penalties we have to I know they come in
bunches right where there's one, there's two, But like that
one ball was underthrown by five yards inside and five
yards short. If you guys got some some suggestions on that,
not only will I take them, but the probably the
Vikings and the Packers. I mean, the short throw is

(18:39):
hard for those defenders to defend. I think we're covering
pretty darn well.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
What do you make of the coaches at a higher
level being fired early in these days?

Speaker 1 (18:50):
It's gonna get It's gonna get wild that you know
on purpose. Me and Matt talk a lot about current events,
just like what's going on out there.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Is there anything we can get to our players?

Speaker 1 (19:00):
There's all that kind of stuff, And I just we
had a kind of a funny deal. I said, Man,
I won't be surprised if it's not eight coaches by
the time we get to wake eight.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
You know, I don't know. I don't know if.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
People are panicking because of the portal and want to
get ahead of that and or show donors that you're
willing to to do what you got to do to
move the thing forward. I guess I hear it all,
but I don't pay attention to it a whole lot.
It's the Penn State deal. Thing was a little bit surprising.
I mean that semi finals to being fired is a

(19:32):
pretty tough, pretty tough deal. And I know he can
coach football, he can recruit for sure.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
You got fifty.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
We have fifteen cents in a second or something.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
You mentioned earlier about the offensive line wanted more production first.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Down from your run game? Is it? Is it just
the offensive line? Is there something that running backs can
can do better? What you know?

Speaker 1 (20:00):
I think we gotta get I talk a lot about
we got to get each place started and let's just
say that you had twenty runs and you got every
one of those plays started, and the running back got
to look at.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
A run three times.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
I'm betting those guys are better on that third run
than they are in the first, you know. So it's
kind of like just I'd like to see our bad plays,
you know, the one yard gains, the two yard games,
the one yard loss.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
They gotta we gotta find one more yard. So that's
squaring somebody up.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
If you're a blocker, finishing the block, not getting an
edge set on you. And then as a running back,
it's it's kind of being determined which they are break
is running really hard, It's it's a little bit of
a combination of we're getting some some twist game stuff and.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
Some movement up front.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
I think we gotta we gotta make practice on Tuesdays
a little more difficult, so that falls on the coaches.
But we're in week seven and I would say we
now know each other all up front. We've played enough
together upfront that we've got to get paired up when
we can, and then we got to win some more
single blocks.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
It's as simple as that.

Speaker 4 (21:03):
The back end of the season starts this week. I mean,
you get a sense this this is the start of
the stretch. Runners that too early to say that.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
No, it's it's it's gone fast, but you know, right
about this time of the year, I figure, you know,
with the position that.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
We're in, you know, goal one is on the line
from here on out.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
Okay, each and every game is going to have an
impact on can you establish home field advantage? And so
they're all big, But more importantly, I think valuing the
opportunities to play this great game together as the twenty
twenty five team has to be what continues to get echoed.
I felt a sense of us having fun on Saturday.
You know, even though it was like sticky in Illinois State.

(21:42):
You know, you looked on the sideline like guys are
trying to figure out, Okay, what's gonna happen next? Right, Well,
what's gonna happen next is you get a play to
win or you lose the play.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
That's all it is.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
Right this week, like they were even defensively, I know
they were doing okay, Southern Illinois was moving the ball,
but they were in the fight. They were having fun.
I saw a lot of fist pumping and high five
and and so yeah, this is where typically NBSU football
teams that are good, we get to really push them,
you know, all the way to their their full potential
and their standard because they kind of start to get

(22:12):
a sense of, you know, what's coming.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
But that's what I was.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
Talking about, eliminating the noise. There is no big picture,
There is no week from now. We have to stay
singular minded on trying to go one and oh compete
and prove tough.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
Period.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
This is a been there.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
Yeah it is.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
I mean it is when especially when you follow up
playing at home, you know, because there's so much that's
that's so cool about athletics.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
Right, parents, family, girlfriends are coming to the game.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
The stampede is cool, right, all that stuff is still
you know, I mean, it's still football. But then you
got to go on a road and you got to
you know, an hour bus drive in the morning.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
We got to handle really well. We got a good
plan for that.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
But that's the case in our next three home or
I can think big picture because I have to, But
our next three road games have.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
That hour long trip.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
Yeah, even if they have the stadium filled, you know,
the one side's open, it's just a little bit of
the look to the stadium and so forth and so
on that we have to really be into it. I
want a lot of connection. We shut the music off.
We didn't have any noise during warm ups last night,
and so I want to see unbelievable connection with our players,
unbelievable support for one another, and.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
Then having a lot of fun with each other. I
think that's really critical. Now, those are these roads and everything.

Speaker 5 (23:28):
What are you seeing in terms of the team bonding
that you see on these road trips that is important
to this program.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Yeah, you know, they hang out a lot. It seems
like this group is at dinner early. Groups get together, right.
It seems like they travel in packs more than maybe
I can remember. Last year was really good too, though,
and maybe that's just my last eight or nine years
sticking out in my head. But you don't see many
guys traveling alone. And that's a big deal to me.

(23:55):
I don't want to see, you know, lone rangers. They
should be with each other. They should be having a
good time and or snapping it in with you know,
d M when we call for that. But it looks
like they're a really connected group. I mean, I sit
with the specialists, and I can even tell they have
relationships off the field. They're talking about golf, this, that
and the eir thing. They're all excited about the Bison.

(24:17):
You know, Football Players Association having them over for dinner.
You know this week we got Brett Eddermann with the linebackers.
Drago is gonna have the specialists over at his house,
and then Jeff Johnson's doing golf at a simulator with
the receivers and so those things are excited.

Speaker 2 (24:32):
We got a tighten it group.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
And and most importantly or as important, is the coaching staff.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
I feel like we're growing together as well.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
