Doctor, Why you seek a something, No, just to check up.
Hello, Welcome to the Neighbors aftershow here on jail J Media. I'm
James Augnior here in America. Youknow I'm wearing my robe. I got
up this morning. I decided doingthe show today. I had, you
know, prepared the show to don'tthink it's like, well, Neighbors is
about regular people, oh my god, shaking too much. Regular people in

(00:55):
regular situations, well sometimes alone extraordinaryin this old a sac on Marama the
street, just talking. So I'mlike one of your neighbors. I woke
up on a hat, but onmy robe, and I'm gonna talk to
you about neighbors today. Why not? So I want to first again to
think everybody, and they're just suchgenerous comments about my after show. I'm

(01:17):
trying to check out some of theother Neighbors related stuff that's out there,
some of the stuff of the otherpodcasts, and it's just such I'm having
so much fun. Again I comefrom I'm coming from American perspective, someone
who's new to this whole thing. So like to continue my guidance of you
do this because I've had some peoplein America ask me again, how do

(01:38):
I watch the show? Like theyhurt like Amazon, they went on there
like, but there was something Idon't like. There's some episodes and seasons
and so I'm here to explain. Then somebody was like, didn't go off
the air. So I'm here toexplain kind of a timeline of Neighbors and
what's going on. How to watchso Neighbors as you saw how in the
beginning started other early title sequence therethat I posted it came on, which

(02:06):
was right March eighteenth, nineteen eightyfive. I was fifteen years old.
I turned sixteen a few months later, and I didn't hear about it.
I was in America. I neverheard about it. It wasn't still a
few years later that I heard aboutNeighbors. First heard about it through the
song the Local Motion like Kylie Menu, yes, Kylie when she first came

(02:27):
to well, she didn't come toAmerica, but the song was a huge
hit, was number three here inAmerica. It was a huge hit in
America, and it was a remakeof the Little Eva song. We knew,
so we liked the song. Itwas bouncy, was great, and
that was her biggest hit until America. That was her biggest hit, because
she had hits. I mean,I follow her ever since. I've been
following her ever since, but thatwas her biggest hits since. Her biggest

(02:49):
hit later was case You Out ofMy Head two thousand and one. Yeah,
that was one two. That wasthen that brought her back. That
I was her big return to America. Soil was like this big, cuge
song. Maybe i'ven't followed her careersince then, but I had heard of
her and she was playing Charlene onNeighbors. We couldn't get it back then.
Oh my god, you're bad.Back then, we had we had

(03:13):
cable, but we didn't get anythingfrom overseas. I mean it was like
there was there was so primitive backthen. I think about that, cause
you know, the satellites weren't that, you know, that advanced yet.
I mean, there was so muchwe just didn't get and the video market
hadn't done this thing where it wouldlike his Neighbors like then, no other
soaps were on video back in theeighties. They just didn't do that.

(03:37):
But a lot of stuff it justwasn't available. She just heard about it
and I and I had heard aboutthat show and I heard about and so
then later in the eighties I heardabout Coordination Street, and then then for
me in the nineties, it waseast Enders in England, but we again
we didn't have tape. It waslike I found Easterners on a weird channel.

(03:58):
That's the whole other story, weirdchannel that came on every other Tuesday
at two in the morning here inAmerica. Oh, that's crazy. I
got turned. I turned my phoneoff on for the list second, but
yeah, it was it was.I'd heard the show, but I had
never seen it. Literally, Ihad never seen episode until I want to

(04:25):
say, the two thousands. SoI asked me, I'm gonna first rate
the friend I saw the Charlene herentrance episode was doing a Kylie no tribute.
I want to say the early twothousands. But the first one I
ever read late eyes on a singlepiece of anything, Neighbors. That's very
interesting and trumped my alarm because Ihad an alarm on turn it off,

(04:47):
okay, and so that was itwas just very interesting. Man, I
never seen them before. Okay.So Neighbors was on for thirty seven years
thirty seven kids in Australia and inwhich other countries, and just for those

(05:08):
who don't know. It centers arounda fictional suburb of Melbourne or Melbourne.
I guess they had Erinsborough. Soit's a half an hour. So yeah,
we have ads here in America,so like twenty two to twenty four
minutes long. It's like, youknow, to me, it's like both
and beautiful. In America we haveit's a half hours a half hour.

(05:28):
So so it was on for thirtyseven years and I won't get into the
weeds. Wager used lots of airingissues and ad space whatever. It got
canceled. So it did get canceledand it went off the air July twenty
eighth in Australia. July twenty twentytwenty two and ninety minute episode and it
went off. So I remember hearingabout that. I remember reading that going

(05:51):
oh, neighbors, and again Ididn't watch the show, but I was
like, I remember being a longtime show, but this is kind of
crazy. It is gone. It'sit, and it was it was just
gone. I went off the airwell through Fremantle, which I've worked with
metal folks at Amazon freewe You're like, what is that? They decided to

(06:13):
come together and restart the series literallya year later. It was. I
was kind of it's like, oh, what off? But he got a
reprieve, which we know some showsget reprieves. They give reprieves, and
so starting September eighteen, twenty twentythree, it was back on the air.
And so that's why you're like, what's going on. So I'll get
into how you can know how it'sflicted. But Amazon Freewe. So Amazon

(06:36):
Freewe is part of Amazon and AmazonPrime Video. I have Amazon Prime,
your Amazon Primed, you get Amazonfreebey is right there and you get to
watch without paying anything, or youpay once. I'm up there Amazon Prime,
but you need to watch the episodes. They have ads. That's fine.

(06:57):
I'm not sure if you don't haveAmazon Prime, I think I don't
get to pay it. I havethat part. I'm researching that part.
But if you're in Amazon Prime, which many of us do, go on
to Amazon now. I was.I remember I was over I think it
was im dB TV and it wasalso kind of switched for forwards Amazon Free.
So anyway, so Amazon Freewe.Amazon has some great shows on there.

(07:19):
Anyway, I was on Prime StudioCity a sap opera within a soap
opera show. I'm on that show. We can check that out. Of
course. It's called Studio City.Sean Kayden is the lead. It's a
great series. I'm on season two, episode two as an actor. Yes,
there's a lot of fun, butthat's what They have a lot of

(07:40):
great series. But Amazon Freeby hasall these series and movies and things.
So in America, you go thereand now here's the thing. There's several
things going on there. They wereso smart. They have a player,
they have a playlist. They havea playlist of just iconic episodes. So
I'm gonna start watching those and commentingon I think it's called season zero zero

(08:01):
zero zeros like that or one thousandslike that. It just it ess.
But then they have starting from twentytwelve. They have all the years twenty
twelve twenty thirteen, so you canstart. You can start from twenty twelve
up to where it ended in twentytwenty two, and then you want to

(08:22):
watch the new season that starts atSeptember twenty twenty three. You hit that
one and then you know it'll loadsome. Then you'll hit the load all
hundred and some rare episodes, andhe got scrolled out to all the episodes
and start watching him. I wasjust watching the episode from from last week

(08:43):
where well, of course where Loganis. He had bought David's club,
they got David's clothes and was likealmost got caught by Mail and Homegirls making
Homegirl clean the all of ry forthe rest, helping Lea. You out
at the restaurant, get it allready, making her clean the toilets,
and I was letting. So there'ssome funny stuff in there. I was

(09:05):
watching that, but literally it's it'ssee it's September twenty twenty three. You
hit that, you'll be able tosee all the episodes listed right now as
a recording of this on July fourteenth, July tenth. He was up July
tenth, so you go from there. I believe. I think it showed

(09:26):
us that Monday through Thursday. Ithink it's a prosch a week. So
I'm still learning that. But yes, so Amazon Free Wee is part of
Amazon Prime, part of Amazon Video. It is on there. It's a
tunnel app itself. I'll put theunderneath the in description how to get there,
but that's how you can watch it. Because we were like, how
can I watch it? I knowAmazon, I didn't know what Amazon Freeview

(09:48):
was either say what is that racialname? But that's where you can find
it. But yes, Neighbors didwas on the air thirty seven years.
It did end that came back likelike Law and Order? What was it?
What else? So when was Lawand Orders came back? Here in
America? It's a show. Soas they get reprieves, I love it.

(10:09):
Dallas came back later, Donasy cameback later, like so it's but
this one picks somewhere limps off.So as I continue to go, I'm,
you know, on this show,I've been kind of doing some current
and I'm doing past. Someone asked, also, I'm trying to just once
a week, maybe twice. Younever know. Sometimes I'm like this one,
this one's close. The other onecame out like three four days.
This is close to that. SoI am trying my best. Just has

(10:33):
some fably stuff interfering here and there, But I'm gonna try to do this
once a week at the very least, because you guys seemingly are like it.
I just want you have to knowthere is an audio version, so
if you can't always look at meand watch it as a Neighbors after Show
audio version. Hardly nobody's listening toit. It's really like it just has
it's gotten no traction. I stillput I post episodes on there, every

(10:56):
every exit posted episode. But Ijust want you guys know that there is
an there is an audio episode. It's there, and you're gonna stood on
audio. Let's go to Neighbors afterShow media. But I want to think
all the folks for the video views, this is great. I'm having a
lot of fun. It's I lovethat. It's also it's it's not a
lot of American soaps are filmed onindoor sets. They're trying to branch out

(11:20):
and use their studio space outside. But this show really just it's it's just
the it looks. It looks sorealistic. It's amazing how the outdoor and
it all looks realistic. It lookslike you're in a real house, looks
like you're really outside, looks likethe filming of this show is just amazing.

(11:43):
So shout out to the cinematography andthe filming and the sets or whatever.
It just it looks so real, folks, like you're in a real
Neighborhood. I'm James lot Junior.Of course, back again with an episode
of The Neighbors after show. Neighborsis on Amazon, Free me and I.
That's your next time
