Yes I am wearing a robe, just like your neighbours! In honor of the 40th anniversary this week, I count down the Top 5 iconic moments! Happy anniversary!

Neighbors turns forty this week. Forty years old. That's younger
than me. It's not fair. That's an accomplishment for any
production TV otherwise to go for forty years. Yes, there
was a little break for a year or two, but
other than that, basically forty years has been on the air.

Neighbors app show, And as promised, I told you I'd
come back with some specials till it ends, because it's
ending in December. But this week is their big celebration

now is Neighbors turn They're officially middle aged. So for me,

one of the things I decided to do was find
out what people thought like the big five, five big
moments of the show. And I asked my friends who
are long time with Theighbor fans and it's online, sit
on the interwebs, and I came up with these five.
You can tell me if they're true or not, if
you think you're agree with them or not, I don't know.

But I've been always aware of neighbors and the number
one slot. I knew about that one. I'm gonna get there, y'all,
but that one I knew, So let's start at number five.
Was the finale, the original finale of A series in
twenty twenty two, when it went off the air. I

would almost I would almost bookend this with this and say, personally,
the biggest surprise was that it came back in twenty
twenty four. They're like, because we thought this was done
or actually twenty twenty twenty three, Yeah, twenty three three,
and it came back like a year later, So I
would say both of these. But in the finale it

got back some of its biggest start. I remember reading
about this that kddieven Nugge was coming back as Charlene,
Jason don Venis as Scott, Margot, Robbie as Donna, and
Guy Pierce's Mike. They came back, but the show came
back later, So I guess it's like two points there.

You think you think, you think you're saying goodbye, that's it,
put a button on it, but then also comes back.
So those are so I'll say our titles are five
that twenty twenty two finale and twenty twenty three announcement
and then premiere. There are four. They said this one
of the big one. Deep Bliss's death and shocking return

twenty three to twenty seventeen on her wedding day to Tony.
We love Tody, I get to love him. In two
thousand and three, deep Bliss was believed to have died
in the car plunged in the ocean. I went looked
it up. I saw that. I saw it. Then fourteen
years later, I mean fourteen years a long time, folks,
fourteen years she came back, she survived, But I've been

manipulated into staying away. That shocked a lot of people.
I mean that would abody, I mean fourteen years later.
Well that's that's a good secret right there, right. And
the beauty about soaks, if they're all long enough, you
can go away, come back twenty thirty years and it's
an amazing thing. Number three, I actually watched this we see
on YouTube the plane crash are twenty five. They counted

as one of the Neighbor's most dramatic moments, and some
great and I was watching some great uh, some photography
and special effects and the thing they did there a
joy flight to Tasmania ends a disaster. The plane crash
is killing people. They went, Bishop, John, a Bishop, and
Sir Bishop all died, leaving Paul Robinson Davis devastated. It

was a fame. Get mine, I get an accent. All
of a sudden, plane crashes are staple and some right.
Number two Harold Bishop's disappearance and return. Nineteen ninety one,
he vanished at sea, presumed dead, being swept away by
the currents. I saw, I saw that. You go on
a lot of you see all these It's very crazy.

Five years later, in nineteen ninety six, he returned with
amnesia under name Ted. When he finally remembers his past or,
it starts to come back to it for a while.
Zobi is really is a great stink and the action
did such a great job. Once she starts to remember,
it's very emotional. Oh my god, it so it's it's

intense and number one, it's said the number one most
iconic moments on Neighbors. I mean, there's so many others.
Of course, you could do. I'm sure you get at
it there. But this don't just for sheer popularity. This
is back when soap stars could be rock stars and
vice versa and pop stars and vice versa. In America.

We had my Damien, we had Noah Drake who was
from Springfield, and we had you know, we had had
the crossover there Jack Wagner Frisco on this show. It
was the wedding of Scott Robinson and Shanlie Mitchell of
course being Jason Donovan and Kylie Minehu And it was

watched by millions, I mean millions of people. And they
had a song especially for you. I'm gonna saw it
every a big hit. It was just like it was
a huge. It was a huge thing. And that's when
I first kind of heard her neighbors. I was a
Kylie no fan, and that's when I kind of first
heard of this, this big phenomenon. They're saying. Also, I

looked it up Charlotte. She had wore a lace wedding dress.
Very eighties. It's like Tady seven folks, Angry Anderson suddenly
playing in the background and emotional avowsman, the fighting one
for the show. That's a thumbnail. I put their way

one actually remember. I remember that that was a big, big,

huge deal. What And those are your top five iconic
moments that have helped make Neighbors a huge hit for forty years.
And I'm so sad that it's going off the air.
And I didn't what was going on, but I just
I guess it didn't didn't last test of time, but
