New Parents For The Second Time.
This podcast came to be from the idea of having a voice diary for our children after our newest and very unexpected addition. We believe that this audio diary can be some sort of roadmap for our children when it's time to go through the same journey of parenting. After thinking more about it, we came to the realization that with this podcast, we could pool together more ideas for them and other people out in the world. We hope to share with and learn from other parents and maybe we can leave something behind for our kids to enjoy with their own children. At the very least, we will be able to listen to it in the future when we’re old and gray and have a good laugh. Join us in this journey through parenthood- for the second time.

We hope you all had a wonderful 2023 and that 2024 is even better. here are some of the many things we had happen in the last 4 months.
S2E1 Trying To Catch Up For The Past 8 Months Part 1 And A Little Chat With Andrew During his Visit.
2.Gave jay the master bedroom.
3.Updated the downstairs bathroom for Jenn to be able to enjoy the move.
4.Converted Jays old room into Ellie’s.
5.More and more often Ellie sleep through the night with 7 hours sleep.
6.She is now starting to stick her tongue out.
7.It was David’s Bday but didn’t get to see him.
8.Booked hotel and tickets for parents get away and baby Ellie fir...
2.Jay reaches his limit with the frustration of a crying and non-consolable baby. Jay cried from frustration.
3.Ellie’s first time sleeping 7 hours.
4.Bough mom cozy wrap / sling – Didn’t really liked it.
5.Watching so many Disney movies.
6.Follow up appointment 10lbs, 21.5”, still have to get bloodwork

WK 8-9 - (09.11.22-09.24.22)
1.First time letting Ellie cry it out for about fifteen minutes before she fell asleep on her own. She was very fuzzy and inconsolable.
2.Ellie drank 5 Oz. for the first time, and 3 more times in the 2 weeks period she drank 6 Oz!
3.Her two months check-up
-20.5 inches tall, 9lbs, 9 percentiles in growth, doctor confirmed to use pear or prune juice...
1.9/9 – 9/10 I was feeling sick and how we had to adjust with Jenn first day of work today 9/10 and how her mom, Jay and my mom had to help us.
2.1/2 ounce prune or pear juice with 1/2 ounce water 1 time per day. It seems to help with tummy aches
3.Week 6- Switched from Newborn diapers to #1 diapers

1A lot of fuzziness. We changed the formula to non-gentle ease, and it does seem to hurt Ellie’s tummy
2Having difficulty sleeping at times. 5 weeks and nothing yet.
